Speaker 1 (00:00):

this the hot seayr Alvenna. You are control, I'm even
doing you. You're so pet yo are yo so Patty
the world's most dant this morning, Jo dj Ca, this bitch, Angela.
I stay in everybody's business, but in a good way. Charlomagne,
(00:21):
the guy the ruler, rubbing you the wrong way. The
breakfast club ain't for everybody. Good morning usc yo yo
yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo
yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo
(00:42):
yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo
yo yo yo yo yo yo. Good morning Angela, Ye,
good monkey Danny Cholamagne the guy. Beat to the planet
is Tuesday. Yes, it's Tuesday. That's right. And I'm telling you, man,
we definitely need three day weekends. Can Joe Biden make
that happen? I don't know if he can. Vice president?
(01:04):
How do you make that happen? That a state thing?
Is that a federal thing? Three day weekends to what
it is, Man, mondays aren't essentially anything. It's actually cruel
and unusual punishment to make people get up and go
to work. Talking about to school, well, I got to
do with anything I'm talking about. For those of us
who don't, Okay, these requests are very self serving. All right, Yes,
(01:25):
I want three day weekends. Mondays are not necessary. Well,
happy Valentine's Day. I hope you guys had a great
Valentines Um. Valentin Valentines Um. I took the kids out.
We went bowling, and the whole family. We went out,
we went for we did a game night, so we
played Monopoly, we went bowling, we played Jenga, so we
did all the things as a family. We had a
great time. Just kept a family close. I mean there
(01:47):
was nowhere to go. Most restaurants that only allowed what
twenty percent capacity, And that's your whole family. Your whole
family makes some forty percent. Nobody else is laughing. So
that's what we did. I don't know what you guys did.
What you guys did, what you do eat? Um? Well,
nothing for Valentine's Day really. I was at home. But
yesterday I went mattress shopping and then I went with
(02:10):
one of my friends. She's moving Latina and I was
helping her. We went furniture shopping together. So that was
my whole day yesterday. You know President's Day is a
great day for sales when it comes to furniture and mattresses.
That's right, Charlemagne. I was in the process of moving
all weekend, well not moving while I was moving, but
I was watching the movis move everything all weekend. So
that's that's what I That's what I did this weekend.
(02:33):
Nothing much or nothing, you know. He get to get
the regular get balloons and stuff for the for the
girls and my wife, and chocolate covered strawberries. That's about it.
And kept it light. Watched a little wan Division, trying
to finish up Sicily Tyson's book, which is amazing, by
the way, just as I am, Lord have mercy, great
great read. All right, well, let's get the show crack.
And I know the weather is nasty around the country.
(02:54):
I think I think I've seen something that it was
cold and everywhere about Miami or Florida. So I got
to Florida. As hell, it's paradise. It looks great, it
looks appealing, but it's hell. All right, Okay, what we're
talking about you well, of course the weather, and of
course Donald Trump acquitted all right in earth, gang will
be joining us to the good The young ghetto gods.
(03:16):
That's right, Earth Gang. We'll kicking with Earth Gang in
a little bit. I just to Breakfast Club morning. Everybody
is DJ mvy Angela yee. Charlemagne, the guy we are
to Breakfast Club is getting some front page news where
we started roll right now, more than two hundred million
people are under alerts. There's a deadly winter storm that's
been moving into the Northeast. People are having power outages,
(03:38):
they don't have heat. There's tons of snow that is
falling everywhere. I saw. They shut down the airport in Houston.
Dropping temperatures have frozen or overworked power sources, and there's
nearly five million people in the dark as of this morning.
A lot of customers who are affected, primarily were spread
across Oregon, Texas, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Virginia. Yeah, they
said one point two million people in Houston it alone,
(04:00):
have no power, which is crazy. The other problem is
COVID nineteen vaccinations. Those have been postponed in a lot
of places too because of the weather. So now there's
all these coronavirus vaccines and who knows if they're gonna
end up going bad. People can't use them. But again,
you know in different places. San Antonio postponed vaccinations for
the second day, and people are trying to salvage some
(04:22):
of the vaccines that were in jeopardy of spoiling. Yeah,
and you know, weather like that in places like that
impact the city in a really bad way because they're
not equipped for you know what I mean. In New
York they got to salt trucks in the snow, plows
and all of that type of stuff coming from South Carolina.
One in't you snow shut the whole city down? Yeah,
I remember what the whole state down. I remember going
to School of Virginia and then they would those saying
(04:43):
down because nobody had rock salt. And then they're saying
it just be nasty and there make things disgusting. You
know what it felt like when I was in New
York when Hurricane Sandy hit, and I was like, oh,
punk as category one hurricane. Because I lived through Hurricane Hugo. Right,
I'm like, oh punk ass, category one. Category one shut
the whole city down. The city is not equipped for
just like the South not equipped with snow. Right. And
(05:03):
there I saw some families and sitting in their cars
trying to get heat, and you know that's danger too
because carbon monoxide. So please be careful. If you don't
have heat or whatever is happening, don't do that just
because of the carbon monoxide issues. If you're in a
garage and not outside, just open up the oven like
normal people do you to do that open up the
other view. I don't think that's good for you either.
(05:23):
For too long, I saw somebody say that. I didn't
know what he said that. My grandmamma definitely did that.
Mother everybody and boil some water on the stove and
let that take over. What happened to karosene heaters. Remember
arthene needs no need to keep you so warm, have
you staked, but keep you warm at radiating. All right, Now,
Donald Trump has been acquitted and his second impeachment trial
(05:45):
exactly a month and a week after insurrection, it's incided
a ride at the Capitol. Donald Trump is speaking out
and he's obviously very happy about this. Now Here is
what Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell had to say. There's
no question their President Trump is practical and morally responsible
for provoking the events of the day. Well, why did
(06:08):
he not get convicted? Here's what else Mits McConnell had
to say. If President Trump were still in office, I
would have carefully considered whether the House managers proved they're
specific charge by the strict criminal standard. The President's speech
probably was not and frightening. However, in the context of impeachment,
(06:28):
the Senate might have decided this was acceptable shorthand for
the reckless actions that preceded the riot. But in this case,
the question is moot because former President Trump is constitutionally
not eligible for conviction. We don't call him Mitch McConnell.
We call him bitch McConnell. Okay, that Donald Trump's beach.
And I'm telling you right now, and I've told you
this before, the biggest threat to this country, the biggest
(06:50):
threat to the democracy of America will keeps us from
absolutely being the country of liberty and justice for all,
is old white males in politics, old white miles like
Mitch McConnell. How can you tell me, Yes, he caused
an insurrection, an attempted coup on America, but we're not
gonna do nothing about it. We ain't charge it, you
ain't gonna do anything about it. We know what he did,
But now we ain't charge. What happens when someone comes
(07:11):
along that's smarter than Trump, somebody who actually knows politics.
That person has seen what's possible, and they've seen what
Trump got wrong, as I saw Ari Melbola say, an
attempted coop with no consequences. It's just a training exercise.
Somebody's gonna come along and get it right. America trust.
A majority of senators did vote to convict Donald Trump,
but they failed to reach the supermajority that was needed
(07:33):
for a conviction. They needed two thirds, and it was
fifty seven senators who voted to convict him and forty
three senators who voted to a quit. I didn't think
anything was gonn happen to him anyway, But I didn't
think that Miss McConnell's gonna stand up there and tell us, yeah,
he did it, but it's cool that it's cool, so
that that means he can run again. Correct, of course
he runs again. He gets all the bells and whistles
(07:56):
that come with being a former president. Feflondon, old white man,
old white males, and politics gonna be the death of
this democracy, the death of this country. I'm telling you
all right, we'll get it off your chests eight hundred
five eight five one oh five one. If you need
to vent, hit us up right now, phone line to
wide open. It's to Breakfast Club. Good morning the Breakfast Club.

you're lying about your name. I'm not lying it it's
(09:50):

Keeping off your chest? I need to get it off
my chest. I am hired of people always trying to
tell me what to school, but my money with my life,
Like you know, it's it's a little icy y'all here
this morning, and you know people it's like, oh, you
(10:13):
should just call out of work, and I'm just like, no,
I need all my coins. Okay, now I'm gonna with you.
You know, I was thinking about that that I was
driving into work because they had to sign that said
um icy whether uh, don't travel if you don't have to,
or I'm like, who have that luxury? Exactly? We're not rich.
(10:33):
And the old coromavirus things and put people out of
work I was out of work for a long time.
Now I'm back at work. No, I need all my coins.
I'm with you all right? Safe still for the post compus.
They don't ever close us for snow. You think I'm
gonna call out for some of them, you know, some ice.
I'm a cloth. I'm an drove slow all the way
in that right right and always open no matter what.
(10:56):
That's right? Hello, who's this yo? So it's how you doing?
What's up? Broke off? Racist? Dave race Field Davis man
Or race Field? Okay, what's up? Bab was on Twitter?
I was on Twitter early this morning. Saw a little
dude ball tweeting said they didn't have no hot water.
A fan tone take to take a bath? He two,
he's the fan back that I don't have no bad
(11:18):
just tub. Just the person and me saw that as
a flat. I just want to see what shall thought?
You want to take a bath with a little due ball. Yeah,
I'm confused. He said he doesn't have a tub. Due
Ball said he don't have a tub in his house.
He didn't see that as a flex telling fans they
have a tubs just showers. Only been a nice house,
was just shower. I mean I think it is a luxury. No,
(11:39):
I mean, man, people got tubs. That's that's a lot.
I think everybody got a tub. Tubs are dope, was like,
especially when you want to take a nice little ep
some salt bath. Shoot. I love me. I love running
me some warm water in the tub and then take
me a ep some salt bath. I felt like bathtubs
are more of a luxury than just having a shower.
You think, so, Yeah, A lot of the new bathrooms
don't really have tubs like that anymore. Boy, ain't I
(12:01):
want to take it? I was thinking more of the
new new bathroom new houses, I don't really have tubbing. Yeah.
Now they have more to glass showers and things like that. Yeah,
but I got a glass shower on the tube. My
tub is a standalone it's not connected to that I got. Yeah.
But yeah, but I mean people have tubs. Though I
love tubs, I wouldn't. I wouldn't getting the tub to
actually wash though, because I always thought it was gross
to getting that tub and had the dirty water and
(12:22):
put that dirty water all over you. Again, that's just disgusting. Yeah,
that's my point. Everybody was like, like like tubs or nasty
you get what I'm saying with a little dude waters,
I don't got no tubs. I've just got showers, you
know what I'm saying. That's why I would take Okay, Yeah,
tubs are good. I mean if I'm triming, I'm you
know I'm saying, and tubs humble you too, because when
you get out and you see that ring around that bathtub,
you realize that you're just a dirty ass little boy.
(12:45):
Get it off your chest eight hundred five eight five
one on five one. If you need to vent, hit
this up now. It's the breakfast club. Good morning. This
is your time to get it off your chest. Whether
you're man from you on the breakfast club. You got
something on your mind? Lay? Hello, who's this? Hey? How's
it going this? Fernando? Good morning everybody, Fernando, what's up?
(13:06):
Get it off your chest? DJY, I got a question
for you? You on mine? Yes, sir, hey man, trying
to teach my kids how to speak Spanish? Man, you
got any advice? You know? I mean you are Dominican envy.
Come on now, nah, I actually I'm not Spanish. You
should have asked Ramos how your kids learns? Man? You
know so you're not Dominican. N my kid, my kids
(13:29):
no Spanish, though I had. I've been at the Miss
Spanish since they were like in kindergarten classes. But I
don't don't. Man, you never used the DJ and No
Knights in New York. Yeah, I played the Beast music though,
you're a liar. I did. I was so happy during
that reggaeton era, so you could really blend in and
blend the best of your both worlds. I just played Nori.
(13:49):
Oh man, I'm sorry about that. Man. You have a
good day though. Ye man, he's Dominican. He's lying, bro,
all right, whatever? Whatever? Oh man, Now I've seen this
picture you Charlemagne where I had your Valentine's back. That's
a lie, trash. How you doing? Baby? First of all,
(14:12):
my man, it is not It was not Charlomagne. My
man's name is Leonardo. Okay, yeah, now you posted as
Charlemagne or Valentine's. I sent it to Charlemagne, and you
know what, Charlemagne say, what you jealous? He said? What
you jealous? I said? He sent to the group chat.
I said you jealous? You think he was jealous? I
think he was jealous. My man just kind of looked
(14:33):
like you're a little bit, but he got more here
than you. I used to have an afro like that,
don't count me out. I'm like really disappointed in you, Chalomagne,
Like you don't really just let me down. That is
not true. I sent the record. I did what I
told y'all was going to do. I sent the record. Wow,
I don't know what's going on in this relationship. Yeah,
I haven't heard nothing. I haven't heard nothing back yet,
(14:55):
but I sent the record. Oh did you like it?
I actually did enjoy it. I think it could work
for a quiet quite a few different ladies out here,
and these screeps actually, yeah, this too that um I
wanted to work for, which the city girls and the
other person definitely could work. Definitely could work for the
city girl. Definitely could be a hit for them. They're
guarantee him. But look, I'm calling the funk about like
(15:16):
my actual Volentine's Day. I had an amazing Valentine's Day, um,
and I didn't post the real person I was with
because he d L but had an amazing Valentine's Day?
Why would you want to day the d L? Dude trap?
I don't like that for you, I don't. He kind
of was like, I don't know that. I can't. I
can't help with you. Listen. He just I've been in
(15:37):
that situation where I didn't want to put my business
out because sometimes people act funny. I get it. So
he's not, is he on the d L. He just
don't want people to know it's business because it's difference.
I mean, so, so he's gonna DL me with me.
This just meaning that, I mean like he only messes
with me. He doesn't. He doesn't mess with like any girls.
He doesn't have like any like up groping enough that,
but he just doesn't want anybody to know he's You
(15:58):
don't want nobody to know what I mean that he's
d I look at DL. It's like he's still dating
women and he really doesn't want to. But that's only
because I read that book back in the day on
the d L. Who is that book? But I can't
remember the ball Terrence Um, Terrence Deans, Yeah, I read
(16:19):
the one by J. L. King Deal on the Deal? Okay,
Oh you know what I'm Terence Dean wrote Hiding in
Hip Hop. Congratulations Um on the purchase of your home.
I appreciate dramas is a beard. What does that make
a be our beards on the d L he says,
(16:39):
fear the beard. I don't know what that means. Shut up, thanks,
get it on a few chests eight undred five eight
five one on five one. If you need to vent,
you can hit us up now. We got rooms on
the way, yes, and we do want to send some
love and light to Nicki Mnat and her family. Will
tell you what happened over the weekend and sidehid the Prince.
He says that somebody tried to use fascinate him in Atlanta.
(17:01):
All right, we'll get into that when we come back.
It's the Breakfast Club the morning. It's the Breakfast club's tea.
This is the Ruble Report with Angela Yee on the
Breakfast Club. We'll definitely want to start off this morning
offering our condolences to Nicki Minaj into her family. Her father,
(17:23):
Robert Mirage was killed. He was struck in a hit
and run accident. He was sixty four years old now.
According to the police, he was walking on the road
in Long Island Friday evening around six pm and he
was hit by a vehicle. The driver then fled the scene.
And the next morning he was he passed away because
of his injuries. Damn, that's horrible. Sending love, light and
(17:44):
healing energy to Nicki Minaj and her whole family. Prayers up.
Losing a parent is always hard, especially losing a parent
like that in sixty four is very wild, young yea.
And the person that did that, you do know you
killed somebody right like he like your conscience is not
going to sit well with you, sir or madam s
you might as well just turn yourself in and deal
with the consequences of the actions, because I'm sure they're
(18:05):
gonna catch you anyway. All right now, said the Prince.
Over the weekend, recounted an experience that almost killed him.
He said that somebody tried to assassinate him. He was
in Atlanta, and he posted a message to day is
a day about love, But in my city, the city
of Atlanta, there's no love here anymore. A couple nights ago,
there was an attempt on my life. Somebody tried to
gun me down on the highway. I tried everything I
(18:27):
could do to lose them, but they were adamant about
taking me off this earth. They were shooting at me
while I was driving, and even after my car flips
hit a pole and crashed into a tree, they came
back and shot the car up some more. At this point,
I don't know if it was a mistaken identity, a robbery,
or associated with something that I did when I was younger,
but I haven't been in the streets and over a decade.
I just want to know why and if there's anything
(18:48):
I can do to fix the issue. I was born
and raised in Atlanta, and I have tremendous love for
my city, but it's chaotic out here. I'm trying my
best to keep a level head, but when you don't
know who is after you, it's hard to wrap your
mind around it and not be paranoid. Yeah, it's amazing
that he would um, he would put the blame on
himself in any way, shape or for him, like, like,
people are starving out here, people are hungry, you know.
(19:09):
But the fact that he didn't get robbed and they
just shooting his car after it flipped, He's like, maybe
it's something I've done in the past. And if you
don't know who side of the print that was cabbed
a rider for Kanye. Also, Kanye's artists he's a rapper,
but yeah, it might be something that you know, he
feels like he put out there because if it was
a robbery, they would robbed him. They robbed him. Well,
that's happened to you before, even after his flipped over
the fact that they came and shot up the car
(19:31):
while the car was flipped over. But they tried to
rob me, but I kept it moving. But I'm sure
if my car would have flipped over and stopped, they
still would have tried to rob me. They would have
just shot it up unless I was shooting back still, wouldn't.
I mean, I get it. You know, it's always good
to take accountability for things, but I mean, sometimes things
are out of your control. You don't know how people
feel about you. Jealousy and envy as a mother effort.
Bro Oh, he just doesn't know what it is. And
(19:53):
the pictures of the car looked horrifying. If you saw it,
it was just seen it destroyed. Right now, Netflix is
launching a new, big, notorious, big documentary called Biggie I
Got a Story to Tell and that's coming out on
March first, so it would have been his fiftieth birthday.
And here is a snippet of what's going to be
(20:14):
in this documentary. It's an intimate portrait of Biggie and
here it is. My son was a very smarting. He
was already writing since elementary. Every summer Chris would come
back from Jamaica, he would be a sponge to just
so much more that was outside of our scope. He
was like, I gotta get us off the streets. A
(20:35):
lot of the bad decisions came from wanting to provide.
He disrespected with my house. That wasn't my son. You
don't understand that you're having to sell drugs on the
corner to this. And so this is actually something that's
executive produced by Ditty by Biggie's mom v A Little
Wiless Mark Pitts, in addition executive produced by Wayne Barrow,
(20:58):
who is also his former maner and current estate manager. Yeah,
I'm here for this. I'm here for this for one
reason and one reason only because they are using never
before scene footage from a good brother, d Rock dropping
a clus bombs for d Rock. So I expect this
to be d Biggie documentary. I'm excited about the wine,
all right. And this is exciting because this is the
(21:18):
person who taught me how to play chess the Jiza.
He has a chess boxing with Jizza on Van's Channel
sixty six live streaming network, so you'll get to see
him playing chess with other celebrities who have some skills
when it comes to chess. So that's airing again on
Van's Channel sixty six. Also, the weekend Super Bowl Halftime
documentary is coming to Showtime. So what goes into making
(21:39):
one of the biggest musical productions of the year moist?
Showtime is going to show you that in the documentary
it's called the show. Okay and Saluta the jis a man.
I saw the US House of Representatives Delegate Stacy Plasket.
I think you pronounced her last name. She was. She
was quoting lyrics from Running the Jewels. And last week
(22:01):
I'm speaking at Donald trumpspeachment trial weekend because today's the
weekend's birthday too. And de'angelo has announced that he's going
to participate in verses. It's a different type of way
of this time. Here's what he said on social media.
Live with Polo Versus D'Angelo and Friends Late What does
that mean? Concert February twenty seventh at eight pm. What
(22:24):
does that mean who's he going up to do? It
feels more like a performance because it's gonna be not
just him, but other artists as well. I don't know
if it's a true versus or more like a jam session.
Is it versus presents? Because it's not a versus. Is
it versus the company presenting? Because I was looking at it,
I was like, D'Angelo versus his friends? Like, what's going
(22:45):
on him? Yeah? So I guess we'll have to wait
and see. But it's an official versus and he will
be performing, and it looks like it's just like maybe
a whole bunch of people that he's cool with, that
he's worked with. I don't know. They couldn't find no
competition for D'Angelo. I think DeAngelo Rafaelsa Diek would have
been a good one. De'angelo versus Maxwell, de'angelo versus Maxwell,
(23:07):
all right, well have been good? That is your rumor report.
D'Angelo versus Maxwell would have been the one, by the way,
all right, where we're starting, Well, let's start with these
rallies that have taken place in San Francisco, and that's
all because of recent attacks against Asian Americans, so communities
and advocates have been on high alert ever since it
(23:29):
has happened. And of course people are celebrating the Lunar
New Year Chinese New Year, so they said. Most recently,
a ninety one year old Asian man was violently shoved
to the ground in Oakland last week, a sixty four
year old woman was robbed outside of Vietnamese market in
San Jose, and a sixty one year old Filipino man
was slashed in the face last week on the train
in New York City. And they're saying that crimes against
(23:50):
Asian Americans have actually increased eight times since twenty nineteen.
You put your hands on an old person. I don't
care what the race is. You need your crushing the
weed grind yo. You don't got to bleep that that
wasn't a sexual testicles? Can you start using that? Please?
Why that sounds worse? That sounds that's an actual scientific
(24:10):
medical terms. All right, well you're afraid? Are you happy now? Joma? Yes, alight,
a little bit? Thank what about gonads? I think that
sounds good. I gotta know what they ought to scare
me first? You can't right, I'm gonna crush your goal, Nads,
don't be like, tell me what that is for exciting. Now,
I'm scared, he told all. Right, now, Joe Biden, our
(24:34):
president is calling for Congress to strengthen gun laws. That's
on the third anniversary of the mass shooting that happened
in Parkland, Florida, and the President is calling for several precisions.
Provisions he went to background checks and all gun sales,
banning assault weapons and high capacity magazines, and also eliminating
legal immunity for gun manufacturers. So Pelosi, the House Speaker,
(24:55):
said in the statement that Congress would work with the
Biden administration to an two background check builds. I'm not
against background checks. I'm not against background at all. I'm
not against high You should not be able to just
walk in and anybody buy a gun. But he said,
large magazines that hold that much ammunition, I'm not against that.
I'm not against assualt rifles that that have know that
you can just shoot twenty two bullets of a second.
(25:18):
I'm not against none of that. Because even if you're
saying I'm hunting, there's no deer that deserves twenty two
shots in the second. There's no to me. So I
agree with all that My thing is, what are they
waiting on? Like, what are they waiting on? They're trying
to make it a lass, so you know, it has
to go through Congress. But it's been happening for years,
and Parkland shooting was just one of the most recent ones.
Like mass shots have been happening forever, Like what are
(25:39):
they waiting on? Like I don't let's let's get it done.
People have to vote for it all right now. Nancy
Pelosi has announced a nine to eleven style commission into
the capital siege, So she's gonna review everything that happened
there and it's gonna be uh And she's indicating that
a full commission was needed to ensure against another deadly
breach of Congress. Nancy Pelosi wrote, it is clear from
(26:00):
his findings and from the impeachment trial that we must
get to the truth of how this happened to protect
our security, our security, our security. Our next step will
be to establish an outside, independent nine eleven type commission.
So they're going to investigate and report on the facts
and cause as related to the January sixth domestic terrorist
attack against the United States Capital. Don't even worry about it, Nancy,
(26:21):
You let the president get away with it. You let
al cracking and vanilizers get away with it. Don't even
worry about it at this point. Clearly y'all don't care.
There's no consequences and no repercussions for attempted coups in America.
I cannot wait until the next person comes around that's
smarter than Trump, somebody who actually knows politics, and that
person has seen what's possible, and he's seen what he
(26:42):
saw what Trump got wrong. And I can't wait until
he executes it correctly because Americus deserves it. As we
stated earlier, Donald Trump was acquitted in his second impeachment trial.
They did need two thirds of the Senate to convict,
and it was fifty seven Senators that voted to convict
Donald Trump and forty three senators who voted to acquit.
It was I believe seven Republicans who actually voted to
(27:04):
convict him, and a lot of people did across those
party lines. But they said some of those people aren't
planning to run again or get reelected, so they didn't
have to worry about not getting Republican support in the future.
But one of the main things for people is that
they don't want to, you know, get ousted and get
get ostracized from the Republicans. What are the consequences for
(27:25):
an attempted coup in America? Clearly nothing. The president has
been set. Well, here's miss McConnell himself saying that he
believes that this whole thing happened because of Donald Trump.
No question, their President Trump is practically and morally responsible
for provoking the events of the day. Imagine the judge
(27:48):
talking to you like that. You just you just know
you're going to jail. When you you black in the
court room and the judge talking to you like that,
You're like, I'm about to get the book thrown at me.
And then they tell you and then this happens, and
then have a good day, go golf. My goodness. All right,
well that is your front page news. All right, thank you,
miss ye. Now we come back. Earth Gang will be
(28:09):
joining us. Earth Gang is a group from Atlanta. They
signed to Dreamville, yes early, enjoy your gate. We'll talk
to them when we come back. And they also went
to Hampton University, by the way, allegedly. All right, we'll
talk to mister Breakfast Club. Good morning, Breakfast Club. We
know that you ride black people right morning. Everybody is
DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are the
(28:32):
Breakfast club. We got some special guests in the buildings, right,
gag was happening, Venus was happening. What's going on? Pleasure
to be here. No, I'm happy that y'all here. Man,
I'm i'man you know, in tune with y'all for a minute.
My little niece and Nola put me on the y.
Yeah yeah, check that. Check that interview out here with
I was playing. You see that. I didn't know y'all
(28:53):
went to you both went to Hampton. Yeah really yeah,
but they smart though. You went to Hampton, and you
know what sound watch your mouth now. Hampton was like
because we we're from Southwest Atlanta, right, you know, so
we're from the hood, Like we went to public school
all our lives, surrounded by black people round in the school.
So like going up to Hampton, you know, it was
a culture shot, you know what I'm saying, Like we
had that was a great shot. I'm gonna say. I'm
(29:16):
gonna say it was a realistic shot. Feel like you know,
you got spelled man, you got more house and stuff.
Private schools. You know, I didn't even know there was
all black private schools, but they down the street. They
in the hood too, So it's just like, you know,
it was the same but Hampton, our home by the sea,
I don't even know cats had homes by to see.
You know what I'm saying, Like generational wealth like this.
(29:39):
You know what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. This
your your granddaddy got money, like what coming from Atlanta,
y'all felt like that all that my grand That what
I'm saying from Atlanta. Bro, We're not from like like
the outside. We're from Atlanta and it and the Atlanta
generational well like a few of it. You know what
I'm saying. Before it got crazy like this, it was
just like it was like, you know what I'm saying, Oh,
we know that y'all in the I ain't an industry
(30:01):
or something like. Okay, you were long, but it's just
like older and y'all just bread it up over the years.
You know what I'm saying that we were your majors
in school and I was a sighting major. But also
I mean, we ain't got stall happening too long, because
they did kick me out. They really don't deserve this.
They kicked me out. I didn't kick you out, and
ain't I'm buying I'm bad for life. So they beat
(30:25):
up a white boys on white people like two white people.
No this long story, but either way, I got put
out of school and they ain't. They ain't getting all
this put minute. We're hitting the we're here for the
long story. But I happened. Long story got a couple.
I got kicked out twice, but I got back in.
But lost story showed me and some homies, uh discipolone
(30:46):
these crimes and they wasn't rocking with it. Which was
did you do? Was it the scamming? Was it the
con school? It was? It was? It was grand larceny.
That's my That's what I got, and that's what I
got to stealing ly literally the week folk graduation. You
know what I'm saying. Like it was Actually it was
a little bit longer than that because I thought I
(31:06):
got away with it. It was long enough like can't
get me like we focused when they came down a
brout to hammer down. That's funny. You got this looking
at you? You would you still so much bro A
bunch of school equipment. We stold it from the school.
Some from the school, so goodness go around the school.
But I don't. That's a long story. Told me we
(31:27):
were scraped, bron. That's like we're done. We're gone about
about three four weeks a like, and he ain't missing.
I feel like it's a lesson here though. Did you
steal something that something that somehow fulfilled your purpose? Like
because still in sining that that's what like started our
whole Spillers village, Like me and JD. We did it
together and a couple of other homies like it was
(31:48):
the squad us And after that we got kicked out
of happening and we used to end up living together
because our parents put us out. We all discrace. He
came back home, ye discrace and was like, I guess
we're gonna live together and start rapping. And you know
what I'm saying, Wow, that's a great story. We know that.
But we met man, that's good brotherly bonding over crime
(32:10):
at school. Y'all have balance interaction money. I'm gonna talk
to the president. Ain't eat man, I'm talking to that
food man. I don't give no no no talk to
him with my mama and my mama can't trying to
talk to something like my mom is sweet ass, Georgia ass,
(32:30):
peach coplass making that lady. She pulled up and this
my mama braw Like, noah, bro, we're gonna we gonna
make it right because we need your back. At home coming.
Come on, that's what y'all started, y'all at home coming.
Y'all ain't going They're gonna have a money. You gotta
pay me back everything we paid to get you, gotta
get scholarships to I'm saying, looking at you like that,
(32:51):
I want to be a rapper. Y'all get my inspiration.
Do you know what I'm saying, But just get that retribution.
We gonna were gonna make this just back. We gotta
make this. We gotta make it be so so y'all
met at him, I thought ninth grade, yeah, nade high school.
So for people just give them up. How you guys
(33:12):
got together, how you guys got the name Let's star
from the beginning. For people that don't look man, we
was boys in high school. It wasn't even about necessarily
trying to wrap out together. You know, he's just like
he's just the other funny clans. So just like we
just started hanging out, you know what I'm saying, in
a parking lot all the time playing music, realizing we
got the same taste. We freestyle and stuff in the
parking lot. And then they just go from freesty in
the parking lot to just like, yo, maybe we could
really do this, you know what I'm saying, Let's try
to get some shows. So we did the Atlanta circuit
(33:34):
for a while, just to local. Everybody in Atlanta were
making music then, you know what I'm saying, Like everybody
had a home studio and stuff. So we just pull
up out of school doing whatever. And then you know
what I'm saying, Like you said, were round the city
doing our shows here and there, and we got these
scholarships to go to Hampton. I was like, all right,
let's rocket went up there. And it was like, oh man,
we can make it shake up. Hell. You know what
I'm it ain't nothing and the network crazy, you know
(33:55):
that crazy, the students networking money each other, do that,
and you're trying to do this. You from over here,
you from over Okay, we could hook you and hook
you and hood then y'all gonna go back home and
spare the word. And that's basically how it happened. Now
you talk about one hit one this, and how you
say that Atlanta had a one hit a lot of
one hit one this and y'all wanted to make y'all
y'all weren't part of that one hit wanted to click
(34:16):
ud explain that all you gotta do is like for us,
it was just about the people, you know what I'm saying,
Like the one hit one does they come out and
the song bigger than the name. You can't even memory
that one hit. Yeah, that's not what they were trying
to do. It just happened that way. But for us,
it was just like, Yo, when we go out there,
we're gonna put on performance and y'all gonna remember this.
You know what I'm saying. Wherever you go, you're gonna
(34:36):
remember this. You're gonna tell your people about Like, man,
I've seen them here, I've seen them folks that this
show changed my life. Is one of the best shows
of my life. So like it's that memory said in Stone,
Like you could you could keep swiping all day on
something that's viral or whatever, keeps swiping, but it's like
you got that memory in your head and you can
share that with somebody, you know, like we got your hood,
We've been over to. We travel the world, man, you
know what I'm saying, because people love us. We all
(34:57):
want to be global the world on the city, like
we're gonna go everywhere, you know. I know y'all heard
just before, but I listened to y'all and I'm automatically
brought back to that Dungeon Family era of Atlanta, which
I love, Goodie Mob outcasts, And I'm wondering, why do
you guys think it took almost thirty years for another
group to come out of Atlanta with that energy A
(35:17):
lot of move fans, bro. It's just like it's hard
to even like a lot of just move fans, bro.
Like every time something new and something is, it's already
old to like by time everybody like it, it's older.
So like I think with us, what we just did
was just so much focused on making music in this entirety,
like just making a complete sound that people don't really
know nothing that's to compare it to besides that, So
I appreciate the compared to that's just really where it
(35:39):
comes from. It's like, yo, the making like the most
whole sound of music I ever heard. You know, there's
like we had singing and playing instruments and it's like
even with the Spear Real project and stuff, like a
lot of people listening to the Spillage and it was like, man,
this sounds like like you said, like organized or just
the organic sound, you know what I'm saying. Like, but
on this next album, like Celo was in the studio
(36:00):
with us, he was listening to we played, was playing
the whole record for him. He was like, man, I'm
really proud like what it's going because you could feel
the organized noise influences and the future you know what
I'm saying, Guccia influence because like coming up in Atlanta,
you can't not be influenced by organized noise, just like
you can't not be influenced by guccin. Like it's the
same thing. Whether you know this. Yeah, we all got uncles,
(36:22):
we all got ante you know what I'm saying. They
don't played it all right, We got more with Earth
Game when we come back, don't move. It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlemagne
the guy. We are the Breakfast club right now from Atlanta.
We're kicking it with Earth King Charlemagne. Now, now, what
is religion si spill Legion. Spill Legion is the album
(36:42):
the Spilets Village album spilet Videas, like we said, started
from us being at Hampton Earth Game, linked up with
Ji D, linked up with Hollywood jab came back to Atlanta,
linked up with Mariba, linked up with Black. You know
what I'm saying. It's just a network or just like
my individuals just making crazy dope music's chilling in the
house together, like during that time where Atlanta was really
like bubbling from the next steps, you know what I'm saying,
(37:04):
Like twenty thirteen, twenty fourteen as well. It's like it's
like it's like a part that was like a time bro,
Like summer twenty fourteen through like seventeen eighteen. Bro, it
was like every summer, Yeah, somebody knew what popping out mccona,
you know what I'm saying that like somebody the same time.
Br And that's when we linked up together and we
(37:26):
put out multiple projects. You know what I'm saying, Bears
like this. But the spill Ligion was the stuff that
we we we linked up together to do this in
March before we even knew about the code and every thing.
Everybody flew that line. We got a crib. It was
just supposed to be quick. And then the fan you
know what I'm saying. So everybody was like, are you stand?
Are you going? You're gonna stay for a little white bit.
Some people stayed the whole time in the house and
we came up with the album and it was like
(37:48):
one of our first time. It was our first time
really getting back together, like everybody, you know what I'm saying,
and real time music, you know for that for what's
going on now? I know it's an album, but is
there an actual code to it? Is it like some
type of religion? I mean, it just and that's the religion,
like love, respect, you know what I'm saying, Like respect
people that they respect you. Like we kind of got
the idea because we was, uh, you know, like we
was putting out these these projects together, Spillers Village just
(38:10):
like as an undercurrent to all our careers separately, and
uh they just like y'all got such a cut falling,
such a cup falling, and like it was like, let's
play on the couch thing. Let's really just like dive
head person to the cut thing. And how did you
hook up with with with Jay Cole? What was that
call like when you're first met them and y'all decided
when we met him at Urban Plaza that was the
first time so on town plage, you know what I'm saying.
(38:31):
So like then we linked up with our manager and
we and he put us in touch with TDE so
we got a chance to go on the role with
app Soul on these days tour with boys fifty city
tour and't get paid a dime, you know what I'm
saying about twenty five g's out all money going on
the road and it was like seven and y'all in
the traverse, yeah and verse like what I'm saying, and
(38:52):
not with the bags, so you know what I'm saying
for a month and a half, two months bag And
so when we was up at Urban Plaza, that's when
we did the show up there. Cole was there and
that was our first time in the Lincoln you know
what I'm saying, Like we had technical difficulties at the show,
and he just seen how we continue to just rock
the crowd and really like you know what I'm saying,
make the performance pull up, yeah, And he's like, I
(39:12):
just got the crib in North Carolina. I put a
studio on that. I don't know what your situation is,
ain't he He wasn't even trying to talk situation in
the beginning. He was just like, what want somewhere to record?
It was Yes, it was just basically said, like what
y'all recording it? Like I feel like I feel like
we just lost like yeah, and then we pulled and
we pulled up to the to the to the crib,
to the shew so we didn't even unpack our badge,
(39:33):
like on downstairs, We're gonna get on this track, the
track right now. He had just made a beat. Soon
we pulled up here like y'all can't stay here unles
y'all right, and then that's the vision called the vision
was like, yeah, that's that's what it was like. So
with Jid with him before on the road with us,
we took we took him on the road with us
because it was a roommate too. But also I'm not
(39:54):
gonna leave my room, bro. Yeah, we're going on the
road with so Brome And we had a song with
him to gonna stay at We was in Hardness. He
was in James too. But like when I said, when
we got kicked out, like I said, we ended up
having to like living his little, uh condemned ass house together,
and I'm gonna go I'm like, bro, I'm not find
(40:17):
going this cold tore like we've been We've been doing
like and before then, we had been rapping out throughout
Atlanta for the last two and a half years. So
we're not just gonna go on the road with soul
and that you had the crib, you know what I'm saying.
I actually could literally came out on tour with us
to do one version song last songs for the second
and then he's like, Yo, who's that y'all had with
(40:37):
your game too? Like no, that's and then when Cole
came he met us on at the same time. That's
like some hip hop out like glad outlines, Ya gotta
read out like that's like some hip hop out like
like all of y'all was in like the same play,
same time, same vicinity, and the same thing happened. We
(40:57):
started together though that's kind of happened when you like
really stick. It's like like I said, we could have
easily been like all brot come up, we're gonna go. Yeah,
good living in That's something about that. That's something about
that line up two. You know what I'm saying that
the community, like we're trying to if I was trying
to see everybody win. You know what I'm saying, if
it love and respect, we're trying to see you win
because we all win. We are getting rich. That's a group.
(41:18):
How many times you guys if this, if this is easy,
that they broke up or argument or got into a
fight or of y'all all we're just always just being chilled,
you know. You know what I'm saying, disagreed about music
sometime that's commonly you know what I'm saying, Like I said,
I know him more than have my life at this
puny thirteen. I was thirteen. We meant you know what
I'm saying, Like I'm I just turned thirty. So we
that we've been boys the same We're not the same
people were back then, neither, but we got the same essence.
(41:40):
So he's like, it's like it's like brothers. You know
what I'm saying, You ain't evern argue with your brother
before you never argue with family? Is that what I'm saying?
That what it is like, but we got a common
goal in mind to it, you know, during the pandemic, Like,
how was y'all y'all mental health tested? What did y'all
learn about yourselves during that moment that you didn't know before? Surprised?
(42:03):
I got a chance to like really bet on myself,
you know what I'm saying. I realized that I would that,
you know what I'm saying, like not just me being
but like for my family and for the people around me,
you know what I'm saying, Because we'd be on the road,
and we used to figure used to think, okay, going
not being on the road is the way that we're
doing this for our family. We get money, we're getting
paid with it, we're getting paid, We're gonna come back home.
But really being back home gave us a chance to
(42:25):
really actually be there, answering the phone calls, pulling up
on people, checking up on our little cousin. You know
what I'm saying, substance abuse and stuff, so like pulling
up on them, seeing what's good with them, and then
still making music and having our family see like, man,
they still here. Like they're making this music, but they
still present in our lives. And it just really showed
us like we are heads of the household, you know
what I'm saying, Like we leaders of our family. And
(42:47):
I think that pressure was crazy. Yeah, it leads our
family community. That pressure was crazy. But knowing that you
got a purpose and you got people behind you, you
know what I'm saying, Like you got community to help
you with your health issues. They got you got people
to call on when you're not feeling well, or people
to check you when you when you when you off
your path. You know what I'm saying, Like that was
(43:07):
beautiful being at home and really see me in the
roots again. I feel like even when like homelessness and
things like that, like those are just a product of
not having community, you know what I'm saying, Like when
you got community around you, it's easier to deal with
these things. So you didn't about the landing now with
some of these these younger is now, because I mean
you watch a landing, you see like shootings on the rise,
(43:28):
it's crazy. The car breaking has been a thing actually
generations been like a thing. You get your show, but
like they just putting the metal to tech does Atlantic.
I had to take my kids out there. No, I'm
just like, bro, I feel like it's just a it's
just a product of you know people. Basically people move
(43:49):
up to Atlanta, but they don't know the code. Like
in Atlanta, the code is like you lead that in
the back, back in the hood. You know what I'm saying, Like,
if you got a problem with somebody, y'all deal with
that on your sales. We don't want know innocent bystanders
getting here. You got a problem with them, you pull
up on their turn, they pull up on yours, and
y'all handle that. But like, don't take that out here,
whether people are innocent people that like, that's not cool.
(44:11):
That's not cool, that's not that's not the colde and
and that's just like I said, like that's that's something
that Atlanta religious. We lived by that, you know. But
also I would say, like the melitars ain't come up
to the pandemic hit, so I means we're only like
we want a few cities everybody know, open, everybody come
down now, we need this, you know what I'm saying.
Like it's always been like that in Atlanta, even like
when Hurricane Katrina hitting people started coming from them coming
(44:34):
in there to see that having the fights in school
was crazy, Like like New Orleans just came through and
like it was just like so many people, so many
different people. But like that's the beauty of the Atlanta though.
People come there because they know it's the black man,
because they know it's black people. Then they know it's
somebody that they know every type of they can be
able to make some money or they're gonna be able
to be taking care of they're gonna take care of
(44:54):
somebody else. So they flop to Atlanta. But it's just
when you come down that make make sure you come
down there with the right energy. Man. I Well, let's
get into earth gangs newest joint. This one features Wile
and it's the breakfast club good Morning that was options
by Earth Gang. Feature of Wile. They're in the building. Charlemagne.
Y'all got compared to the Outcasts a couple of years
ago on Twitter and they said that Earth Gang is
(45:17):
like Outcast with two andres. Explain to the people why
that's a compliment and an insult both feeling, because being
compared to Outcasts is five. Yeah, weever compared on being
compared to Kobe's five, being compared to micros five. Lebron
is like, if you compared to a goat, that's five
insult because just like Andre matters, big Boy didn't matter,
you know what I'm saying. If you really a lot
(45:38):
of the crucial, if you really know outcasts and you
need just hop on on speak about love below and
you know the record, you know the record. You know
how big boy we're coming on Southern player lists, you're
not even coming on atl And felt that anchored up,
you know what I'm saying. He and a lot of records.
He was that anchor for three thousand to be able
to do the spreading wings and do what he wanted
to do, you know what I'm saying, and like and
vice versa. You know what I'm saying, Like a lot
(45:59):
of time, bit boy, just get out with like the
production and you could just hit like hes trying something new,
right helper. So it's like it's just it's just disrespectful
to to not really you know what I'm saying, pair
of space to both people. Absolutely have they tried to
pitch ya all against each other, yet still not really
not against each other. I think it's too early for that,
But I wouldn't say we met both on separate occasions.
A couple of times we meant we met being had
(46:20):
us come to the students. Yeah, like the photo pandemic
hit like we was he put it around move. I
really appreciate it. And we met Drake up here at
on what what it was? Yeah, like a long time ago.
We had to show up here. Drake was outside. That
was crazy by that show. It was a little baby show.
B Kodak also performed soform. It like a bunch of
(46:42):
people who nobody would none of us was on nowhere
yet and three thousand was just in the crowd. Why
I came to just watch and then we met it.
We ran to that one time he was in Germany
with Cole. I forgot. I forgot. We ran to that
man than the Chinese foods Germany bro and Cologne Germany.
Random head the food and then somebody came out to
(47:04):
the restaurant was like, yo, I guess they've seen the
only other black. We're gonna go in and do they
give y'all free game, free jewelry. Yeah, But a lot
of times it's just it's is to let us know
that we're on the right path, you know what I'm saying.
Keeping brow like Clow has been doing a good job
(47:26):
of that. He reached out on some mood. Was over
in New Zealand for the you know, for this past
little part of the pandemic. For we were in New Zealand.
The Sember fifteenth had to show out there in New
Year's So we had the quarantine for two weeks New Zealand.
But while we in the lockdown, you know, we watched
work got out that we was down, and like folks
just started calling in Seelow calling in Turbot calling and
was like, man, we appreciate what y'all doing for this
(47:48):
flying of flags. So you talk about that traveler. I
heard y'all y'all mentioned it on NALA that you had
to y'all flew out there and you had to sit
in the hotel fourteen days. Yeah, but you couldn't leave
the premises. Like they had a finch stand. You know what.
It wasn't want the Steward jail, a little Martha Steward jail,
like you go outside and work out, but they watching you,
(48:09):
and they got they got military on every hallway, they
got they got the suaves every other day. It took
my blood. What I'm saying, we got a chance, We
got a chance to go outside after that, Like z
was like time Square, you know what I'm saying. Like
it was packed, people was outside. It was it was
beautiful to be in that capacity, just human beings, just
living in the joint life. So that I'm saying, you
do it right, you get them the benefits. I think
(48:32):
I ranched somewhere y'are y'all were still torning during the pandemic.
Dor that was that was it? Okay, it was about
we did about three festivals out there, and how many
people at the festivals and they quarantine. They were outside outside,
no man passed the later outside. Yeah, they did. Like
we just kind of like that. In New Zealand, they
(48:55):
got damn the shut down the borders, like like March April,
they shut down. Nobody could even come to that country.
Even so they don't they down to like minimal cases
they got in the world. And the way it is
not even if you're from the even if you're a citizen,
you coming back, you got to do a mandatory two
wesparant and the facility. You can't go home like I'm
still you gotta go where they put the overnment facility? Really? Yeah? Man,
(49:17):
on this Spillagion project, y'all got a few songs named
after like gods and goddesses like ocean, um hoppy. Yeah,
what's the significance of that? We here marketing everyone, everyone
to show love to the different culture of the people
who listen to our music. You know what I'm saying,
We Earth game. We are black people from Southwest Atlanta,
(49:39):
but we know everybody don't look like us. But it's
a connecting thread the wall of that, you know what
I'm saying, that allow us to be able to go
over there and perform. Were perform in the India bro,
Like I never thought I'd be doing the show with
the did the show in Pune, India? Like that's crazy.
So we're gonna show love to them, just like we're
gonna show love to the folks in Africa, Like we're
gonna show love to the people in that LANDA you
know what's your favorite place you've been traveling? Perform? Africa? Ain't?
(50:05):
It's the most beautiful women people, women I ever been
blessed to be around. You know what I'm saying, We
would love it. Were like, as soon as it's over,
we're gonna go back outside. We're gonna we're going back
the times a year man, And I'm mad, this is
why you stop. We can't well, I mean, we can't go.
That's and I feel now, Joe Burg make you upset,
like I mean, I'm I'm married happily, man, you know
what I'm saying. But it's just like, God, damn god,
(50:27):
I've been a whole I've been. It makes you mad.
You ed to be in a whole light in the
queen exactly? How do you feel to be named on
President Obama playlists? But that's crazy because it's why because
(50:49):
my little nephew is. The little boys are singing on
the track, and it's like it's crazy giving them opportunity.
They could go brag about that at school, Like why
you don't know what I do? You don't know when
I'm check me out, check to take you know what
I'm saying, always five to get all that energy and
bring it back home. Like with every one of y'all playing,
(51:09):
we know you what did your parents think? Right? I
don't know if your first generation out of college, yeah, y'all, No,
my mom with the college. Yeah, my mom was a
college to was too, but I was the first generation.
But what did they think when they you know, you
went to college. They drove y'all up. They put money
in your your bank every week. My mama was mad
as hell. My mama still mad. Y'all decided to rap.
(51:30):
I talked. I talked my mama last week. She was like, so,
when are you gonna get you something with some benefits somewhere.
We're gonna get you someone some foun Damn, Like, Mama,
you don't really see you don't see what I'm doing.
I took you the soul train out. I flew you out.
Tell mamma, you still don't really see what's going on.
It was crazy. My mama Loki always encouraged like she
even though I went to college, I could say. My
(51:51):
mom was like she put me in town shows, in
like sitting grade records. So it was always like she
always kind of like and to know that you did that,
she probably do want me to get something with a
little sense to it. But you kind of came and
my dad, my dad always was with it though you
know what I'm he was saying. He had a group.
My dad was always my dad would t you like, man,
(52:11):
I believe and you gotta trust you. I know you
you my son. So any now you put your mind to,
you're gonna succeed in it, you know what I'm saying.
But you know, mama's be trying to share to their
babies and make sure everything cool. Like mama, you gotta
let me go. You got my mama, I'm gonna go
hard for again. You probably got a game right now,
she always went in. Atlanta really is the greatest musical
city ever. Bro. It's because it's the black people, so
(52:32):
many black people. It isn't like we out here. I
gotta give a shout out to just the Middle List
and told though you got y'all got like Prince and
Kanya in the same area. Yeah that's atta though real quick.
But no, yeah, Atlanta is like all like like not
just hip hop, do I heard y'all talk about that.
But Dad has made for used to come down Atlanta
(52:53):
just to record, you know what I'm saying this to
be in that energy, like to put up high school
talent shoes in Alanna, be crazy, man, Like I remember
talent shows in Liddle School in high school being like yo,
which one of us ain't gonna make it. Bro, it's crazy,
and I think I think it's also because like we're
just not afraid to be us. You know what I'm saying,
Like that that feel that's what happened. Security is not
(53:14):
dub you know what I'm saying, Like we're just like, oh,
he black too, He black too? Is not one way
of being black in at lone, you know what I'm saying.
That was kind of Craig when we went to Hampton.
It was kind of like black excellence looks like this.
It don't look like you count. I don't know what
I got going on with job better shaped up, but
like it was like, bro, this what we can't do
nothing else? You know what I'm saying. And if the
(53:36):
album dropping I heard is dropping the same day as Cold, Yeah,
we told people that, Yeah, we might be before Cold
because I really gonna know when it dropping since we've
been right, I don't know when it's dropping, but I
know if he dropped, we're gonna drop. Ready, We're gonna drop.
But if he don't, we still ready. We probably just
dropped before that. The new Call, I'm I don't know, Briany,
(53:57):
don't even know, Yeah, what's the date for the gett
got one? Cold as cold? Ask cold? What the day's
gonna help hurt? I think it a help. I would
never think it would hurt, like help what brother? Everything?
That's just like community mind stay? Oh he outside, he
outside too. I'm shopping over here. You ain't gonna shot
(54:18):
with my bro, But to keep walking over and see
where he got if Cole out Sellers is like, okay done.
If he don't, what didn't happen? Bro? What I'm gonna
try to have the same days? Can't get it wasn't
man now like, oh heypose so give me your twitters
and instagrams on Earth Game, Earth Game, Well, it's Earth Game.
(54:41):
It's the breakfast Club. Good morning listen. Just oh gosh,
got report, got angel, it's the rumor report the breakfast Club. Well,
I hate to even have to report this, but Meek
Millan Takashi had ran into a each other outside of
(55:01):
a place in Miami, Komoto and Miek was getting in
his car to Leaven. Takashi just popped up out of
nowhere and the two of them went at it now here.
It is the video from Meek's perspectives. Why did Takashi
yell out of push icete lyric, I got more on fire.
(55:23):
Everybody thought that was very funny. I guess he's the fan.
Now Here is Takashi's perspective of their interaction. I suffect
you security. Look, we don't get a security my fight
on security. Repeated it twice. Yes he did. I've always
(55:44):
disliked people like that. The dudes who flex the most,
who aren't ever going to do anything, love to quote
rap records when they flex. Trust me, I've heard many
people say I'm a gat toten Pisto Holton and weren't
on my damn street. You'll want to be dead in
the street, mouthful of blood, zeful of heat. I heard
a dude yell out one time. My neck, my back,
my pom pom man, my crack, all right, a lot,
(56:06):
all right, only to you now. Meek Mill also posted
on social media six nine waited outside of the club
for me. They're trying to get us. The Fed sent
him to take me out. Had to spit on him,
so he retreated. L ol. He really waited outside the
club for me. I thought I was dreaming. And since
then they've been going back and forth on social media.
(56:27):
Now another person who jumped into the middle of all
this was Whack one hundred. Now Whack feels like Meek
should not have I guess retreated. He said, If any
man I got an issue with approached me in a
threatening way, you will be attacked, your team against mine.
If that's the setup. Either way, it's supposed to be smoked.
Fact you got pulled up on. Don't grab the camera,
(56:48):
ball your fist up or grab the peacemaker. And here
is more from Whack. Now this little dude, the little
rat dude, keep man and his business and the rapper address.
He's a club. I'll s addressing academics about why they
supporting the ratting, talking real breezy like your song like that.
(57:11):
I don't want to hear that. You just don't want
to go back to jail. Call that then keep your
mother's mouth shutting. Don't address the rat if you're gonna
pick and choose when it can't be on man, the
streets are too complicated, that tough guy stuff too complicated.
What you mean let me see yeah, and let me
tell you something. When you have something to lose, that
(57:31):
is not the time to be trying to get into it. Said,
that does feel like a setup. You try to run
up on me. You wanted to get into an altercation,
and now I'm in trouble for nothing. Well, yeah, I
don't even know when people wanted Meek Mill to do
in that situation, because six nine not even dealing with reality,
Like it's all performance art. As soon as the federal
informant calls you a cop, you already know he's not
dealing with reality. Meet Mill did, he did what was right.
(57:52):
I mean to back down and get the hell out
of there, because it's you don't win. You can't win
if you if you beat them up, you lose. If
y'all get into an altarcation, you with your people, you
with your securities, where your security somebody gets shot, you lose,
you lose. It's a lose lose situation. When millionaires, you
you you're worth millions. You do so much for prison
reform and do all that other stuff you make music.
(58:13):
Leave that man alone. He did what was right. What
if he would have just started yelling rapp lyrics back
to him. I used to pray for times like this
to shine like this, Nobody throw it away for you.
Then went on social media and he posted some audio
of Whack. I guess they had a phone conversation and
he posted this is Whack talking behind his blood homie
(58:35):
back to me when it's supposed to be smoked. Never
believe these old manipulators. They really vagina and we'll have
you crash to protect them. It's sad you out here
trying to mislead the young uns on the net. You
run up on me. If you want to set an example,
you're buying your homie back out to ops while it's
on you is excited from that neip situation. I don't
know how they let you rock in LA. I think
you were fed. Also, didn't you just get shot? Didn't
you just get shot? Get off the net? LLL Whack
(58:56):
one hundred exposed and you have more in the next hour.
But that is your room the report. Yeah, that's when
I checked that. I'd be the first to tell you
I don't speak nigga like I used to because all
of this sounds foolish to me, Like I don't. I
don't know what people expected Meek Mil to do in
this situation. Yeah, I think they try and meet Mil
and it's not just Takashi six nine. I see a
lot of people trying them in it, and I hope
he doesn't fall for the bait. I hope he continued
(59:18):
to do what he's doing, continue to take care of
his family's kids. But don't fall for the bait, because
it ain't nothing in jail, but but nothing, and you
don't want to lose everything. But those cameras is rolling.
You know, they're trying to set you up. It makes
no sense. Helpe me smart. But if they read outside
the station, they like, he was like, Chalomagne, you owe me, Charlomagne. Nothing,
(59:39):
my neck, my back, that's what she's I got a
arm security that illegally poppable. Fact to the man, don't
scare me soon as I feel threatened. Somebody shooting telling
you that right now, and it's harm legal security. Okay,
James a white man, black man sometimes and ain't nobody
gonna trend your name? Can we get a positive tool
that's impositive? It was very positive and I ain't no
(01:00:04):
screen dude. I have a tax paying, law abiding citizen
and I protect myself as such. All right, well you
give me a donkey too. Somebody who ain't dealing with reality,
young lady named Collina Collier you need to come to
the front of the congregation. We'd like to have a
world with over please. All right, we'll get into that.
Nextus to Breakfast Club Formorte. Let's don't be a dusty
because right now you want some real It's time for
(01:00:26):
Donkey of the Day. So if we ever feel I
need to be a doctor, man, get it with the heat.
Did she get any name? Please? I had become Donkey
of the Day Breakfast Club bitches. Donkey today for Tuesday,
February sixteenth goes to a young lady named Collina Collierer. Okay,
(01:00:47):
Collina is a flight attendant on my favorite airline, Jet Blue,
dropping the clues bonds for Jet Blue. I am a
proud I'm most sag member of Jet Blue. Day is
absolutely nothing better, in my personal opinion, than having a
mint seat to fly across the country. I love it.
So I hate that Jet Blue even attached to this story.
But Collina Collier had some of social media and an uproar.
This weekend. I had a couple of friends send me
(01:01:08):
this story asking had I heard about it? Because people
were claiming that Collina Collier had been kidnapped. I was
being held against her will. In Jamaica. Well, where did
people get that from? From what I saw this weekend,
it was kind of implied by Collina herself. She posted
videos from the resorts seeming like she was in distress.
Can we play some of that please? Dramas of course,
(01:01:31):
I'm soon. This man my mom called this man who
just came to my door. She called him from twelve
one o'clock this afternoon. It is now going on seven pm.
And I'm sure this man only came to this door
because he sees that the cameras are covered up. I'm
here by myself. If my mother was not here, I
don't know what the would happen. They gave me a
(01:01:51):
letter on Monday stating that I am on a no
fly list and I am unfit to fly. I'm unhealthy
to fly. So me and my mother were gonna start
to make a run for it. So I'm pretty much
stucked here. They won't let me leave. I mean, so
naturally people were concerned. Right when people started sending it
to me, I did one Google search, just put her
(01:02:12):
name in to see what came up. All I saw
was YouTube videos about her being kidnapped and tweets about
her being kidnapped, being held against her will. Honestly, once
I saw it was just YouTube videos and tweets, I
just automatically didn't believe it. I felt bad about not
believing it. But I'm that guy that doesn't believe majority
of what I see online. But don't blame me, Okay,
(01:02:33):
blame these digital d heading online who made me this way?
All right. See, I've been around a while. I've witnessed
people manipulate those of us with smartphones before CEC. When
I was growing up, I would hear adults in my
life say a lie ain't to tell. Well, that couldn't
be more true in this social media internet error. Literally,
people can go online and say anything, and we all
(01:02:53):
know nobody cares about the truth. When the lie is
more entertaining, a lie can travel halfway around the world
while the true is putting on his shoes. Nowadays, the
truth doesn't even bother putting on his shoes most of
the time, because the truth is like for what These
people don't believe what they want to believe anyway, Because
if it wasn't for lies, assumptions, speculations, and people's own
(01:03:14):
personal feelings about things, what else would they discuss? On
social media. Facts truth, that's not good, Chris for the
Twitter mill and lo and behold. I thank God for discernment,
because according to authorities in Jamaica, it was all a lie,
an untruth, a farce. Why did Collina Collier make this
lie up? Let's go to Jamaica News Today for the
(01:03:34):
report police. The police have dismissed claims by an American
flight attendant that she was kidnapped in Jamaica. The jcf's
corporate Communications unit described the claims by Collina Collier as false, baseless,
and mischievous. In a social media post, Collina Collier said
she arrived in Jamaica with her two friends on January
twenty eight, and we were going to leave Monday. Said
(01:03:55):
very first, she said she did a COVID test here
in Jamaica so she could use the results to re
enter the US. She received a positive result and said
she was told she would have to quarantine for fourteen days.
I don't have COVID, like you know something in your spirit,
like when you know something is right or wrong, like
I knew, and I noted this second that I do
(01:04:16):
not have COVID. She alleged on social media that she
was kidnapped and was being held hostage at a local hotel,
but in a statement today, the Jamaica Constabuler Force dismissed
the claims. When Miss Collier made the claim on her
social media account, it led to cause by several of
her followers for a boycott of Jamaica. According to the police,
the JetBlue employee tested positive for COVID nineteen and was
(01:04:38):
placed in isolation in keeping with Jamaica's prevention protocols. This
statement also said representatives from the Ministry of Health, the
Jamaica Tourist Board, and the local police have been in
contact with Miss Collia's mother, who arrived in Jamaica after
her daughter. The police said they visited Miss Collia yesterday
and noted that she was not at any time in danger.
Bredrend Dred on a side not I need all my
(01:05:01):
news in Jamaican from that one, Bradren. You know what
the problem is here. This generation really doesn't like accountability.
This generation really doesn't want to deal with the consequences
of any of their actions. This young lady tested positive
for COVID not once, but twice, so because of Jamaica's
COVID nineteen protocols, she was placed in isolation by the way.
According to a story on Jamaican kleener dot com, the
hotel allowed her to stay at no cost for the
(01:05:21):
quarantine period in a garden junior suite. Her mother, who
was Jamaican born, was accommodated on a complimentary basis for
tree Knights out of goodwill faith. She was offered a
discuss rate for the other ten nights while Kalina was
in quarantine. I have no idea why Kalina would make
this lie up other than the fact she was upset
she had to quarantine at all and wouldn't get the
(01:05:43):
properly vacation. That's not the resourt's fault, though, it's Donald Trump's.
But for whatever reason, she decided to create this story
and fake a whole kidnapping, a whole kidnapping queen, a
whole kidnapping. I don't even know why the human brain
works in this manner. Now you yeah, you don't. Got
people's blood pressure up. I'm sure people have canceled their
(01:06:03):
reservations to this resort because they're like, hell no, they're
kidnapping people there. And that lie was started for what Listen, man,
it's been a quarter past spooky time on social media,
But it really has to be some serious consequences and
repercussions that happen to people who get on social media
and say any damn thing. Authorities are warning people to
(01:06:24):
desist from sharing social media posts claiming Kylie has been
kidnapped because doing so could constitute an offense under the law.
Well what is the offense? Because I need to know
because I got a bunch of people I'm snitching on. Okay,
he lying, she lying, They lying, I promise you. In
an effort to dismand through the mechanism of lies and
false to it that exists on social media, I will
(01:06:44):
take to stand anywhere and point out everyone I personally
know who is lying about things on social media, especially
when they're lying just to get a reaction out of people,
just to get people outrage. Okay, the buck has to
be nucked. Because of social media. We live in world
of fantasy. So people are like, get that reality far
away from me. It's nice hair in this fantasy land.
(01:07:06):
And fantasy is fine. I love it. But when we
do fantasy, we must not lose sight of reality. Well,
guess what, when it comes to social media, reality is
rare dare I say reality is not even rare. It's raw,
It's not even cooked at all. You know why, because
all the devices folks used to cook food are being
used to cook up bullsh And I don't care how
(01:07:26):
much curry you put on it. I don't care if
you serve boats with gravy rights and peas and plantons.
It's still bo. Please give Kaleena Collier the sweet sounds
of the Hamletones. Oh no you are dogee the day, dogee,
(01:07:47):
oh the day. Ye all right, thank you for that
dogy to day. Yes man, Let's open up the phone
lines eight hundred five eight five one on a one.
We're talking Meek Mal into Kashi. Now, we just reported
the story in your room, a report, and we were
talking to Kashi and Meek. They ran into each other.
(01:08:08):
Meek was coming out of restaurant and Takashi popped up
on them. Now people are saying Meek Mill should afford them,
They should have got to it. They've been talking back
and forth like crazy, or should have Meek just just
kept it moving left and not even entertain them. Let's
play a quick audio of what went down. That's a fact,
you security, Hey, look down the clock. We don't got
(01:08:30):
a security. I got my own fight only a curity club.
You know that's just a lie. It is a lot.
I got not only line. It's a lie. You don't
have your own fire in the club. You're liars. It
is lying. It's his. But we're asking eight hundred five
eight five one on five one. What should Meek have done?
People are saying it all meekes you to pulled up
(01:08:50):
on them? Meeke went back to Philly with it? Or
should Meek have done kept it moving? What did y'all
want me? I really don't understand what you I just
keep thinking about the ship, the Chappelle Show and keeping
the real goals is wrong and how that used to
always play out on the Chappelle Shaw when you try
to keep it too real and then you end up
ruining your own life. I think I think all the
six nine securities should lose their license. But we'll talk
(01:09:10):
about it. We'll talk about eight hundred five eight five
one oh five one. It is to Breakfast Club. Come
onrning the Breakfast Club. It's topic time called eight hundred
five eight five one oh five Want to join it
to the discussion with the Breakfast club, talk about it morning.
(01:09:31):
Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We
are the breakfast club. Now if you just join us,
We're talking Meek millan Takashi. They got into h I
didn't want to say an altercation. They got into a
screaming match with each other. The other day, Meek was
leaving a restaurant in Takashi popped out and started screaming.
They started screaming allegedly, Uh, Meek Mill spit oner. Let's
(01:09:52):
play an audio right fast security look the cup. We
don't get a security security. So we're asking eight hundred
five eight five one on five one. I see some
people saying Meek shit have turned dump on him, and
some people saying Meek did was what was right? What
(01:10:14):
do you guys think Meek should have done? Let me
start with you, ye, what do you think? I mean?
I think he did the right thing. You know, Takashi's
filming unit. And first of all, there was too many
people around. No nothing was happening to anybody. So let's
be clear. It wasn't just one person attacking the other person.
Takashi wasn't really trying to fight him or anything. He
was just trying to have a moment for social media,
and we know that he's an instigator and a troll,
(01:10:37):
So why would you fall into that. The best thing
you can do is keeping moving. Too many positive things
happening in your life to let something like that affect you. Yeah,
I'm with you. I think Meek needs to just leave him,
leave him alone, leave the whole situation alone. Is that
you can't win this situation. Like you're talking to a
guy that is a known snitch. So you can't hit him,
you can't punch him, you can't fight him, you can't
kick him. I'm surprised you even spit on him. I
(01:10:58):
want to do nothing to that man. I mean security everywhere,
and see what he's about his security there? Yeah, security
is there. I think I would have just leaned on
my car and I would have probably just put like
a fake little line there, and I'll have said I'd
have told my security, Hey, if any of them passed
this line, I feel my life, my life is threatened.
Do what you gotta do it. But I would I
would have stayed far away from that man. What about you, charm? Yeah,
(01:11:18):
I don't. I don't know what Meek should have done,
nor do I know what y'all wanted me to do.
I do know that if someone from Meek's crew had
started shooting and hurt someone in six nine crew and
Meek was back in jail this weekend, y'all would be
online clowning Meek right now. So I think he did
what he was supposed to do, which is which is
get up out of there, you know what I mean.
I think he handled the situation correctly, and I think
all the six nine security should lose their license because
(01:11:41):
security is meant to keep stuff like that from happening.
Security is not goons, but not necessarily. You can't run
up on someone with me because I tell you too,
you're right, But he pays for the security and if
security is dumb enough to do it for him, But
that's why they should lose their license, because they should
know better. It was like, this guy's got a threat.
You're approaching this person with your camera and you're in
the screaming, and this dude calling him, you know, the
(01:12:02):
P word, and all types of other stuff like I
think that security company should lose his license for acting
like that, because once again, security is supposed to be security.
They're not there to be goons. And I mean, listen, man,
you don't gain any points from, you know, getting into
an altercation with with six nine. He's not even dealing
with reality. He's quoting Pooh Shis lyrics. Said he said
he don't need security, got his fire. He got his
(01:12:23):
fire in the clubs. Well, let's just say that's you
don't know, that's a pooh Shis lyric. You gotta you
gotta a culturally clue to security guard with you that
here's that threat. He got a gun, you know what
I mean? So then if what if meek security pulled
out and you know, defended it, defended their client. Like so,
I don't even know why six nine continues to play
like this. I've worn six nine before his behavior led
(01:12:44):
him to jail. There's only one other alternative now, you
know what I'm saying, and that's deaf. Let's go. What
are your thoughts on the meet Mel Takashi situation? Bro?
I feel like I feel like me personally, I would
I would take the route that pipe one undersid for me,
Like I'm I'm a regular duo. I'm not a rapper.
So you know what I'm saying, I'm thinking a different route.
(01:13:05):
But as far as Takashi, he is a raggy everything
y'all say he is, that's a fact, But me get
a different dude. So like, if you're really a real dude,
you would have you would have said it all. He
would have been like this, I mean ter um for me,
like I'm I'm knocking mild dude, what I gotta do?
And then you know, send example, you know of all
the other rats. But he he should have took you
(01:13:27):
a different route for me personal. That's what I was saying.
If he's a real dude, Well listen, even even though
you're not a rapper and you're a regular dude, and
I put regular dude in air quotes as you as
you said, I still would call you stupid if you
throw your life away for the help of that guy.
You know what I mean. As long as I'm doing
ain't causing you know, physical harm, He ain't putting his
hands on you. Let him say whatever he wanted to say.
(01:13:48):
He said what yeah, but me always caused him out.
Takashi never once set one thing about him until Meek
said something. So you're real too, you're talking it's crazy
about another man. What you're saying, pull up on you.
I get what you're saying, but listen, I don't speak
feel like I used to the streets. You're too complicated,
so carry on. Thank you. Eight hundred five and five one.
Don't can't tell him how tom an. I ain't in
(01:14:10):
this creek. I don't play by those rules. So we're
asking Meek Mill ta Kashi what should he have done
in that situation? Call us now, it's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning, call me and your opinions to the Breakfast
Club top come on five one morning. Everybody is DJ Envy,
(01:14:36):
Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We all the Breakfast Club. Now,
if you just joined us, we're talking about Meek Mill
into Kashi. Well, if you missed it to Kashi and
Meek mil got into an altercation over the weekend. Let's
play a clip. That's the security. Look, what's y'all trying
me on? What y'all win? I was wearing? Don't clown
(01:14:59):
that you'll even bring that clown over here? What's y'all?
What's y'all trying to get me in trouble? Hello? Who's
this yo? That's Gary? So fill it? What up? What up? Bro?
Would asking what what should have me? What should have
me done? I think he I think he played it right.
What I'm saying, we got, you know, everything is on
social media. We got you know, a lot of you
(01:15:20):
know people watch. I think it could have been a setup.
It could have been no, but I think they should
What they should do is the next might place to fight.
They should put them on the score on the school,
on the score car and let them handle them like
Ben and I mean me that street stuff along. Because
there's a lot of brothers out here with each other.
So I think that's what they should do it. And
as stead of them getting paid for it, they should
they should get that money to a proper cause you
(01:15:41):
know me you know, hit prison reform and to cash
you to get somebody out of jail. That's get that
money to somebody trying to get a field to get
out of the jail. That would be a great idea.
What I'm telling you right now, MEE get six nine
got into a ring, they'd be hugging. They'd be hugging
halfway through the first round, so they'd be so tired
and exhausted they would be hugging each other like man,
you wanta go home. You want to go. Hello, who's
(01:16:02):
this Shannon? What's up? How y'all doing? Takashi? What do
you think? What should it met? What should Meek have done?
I think he did the right thing because he's still
on papers. I mean he got locked up, which is
riding a motorcycle basically, why would he feed into that
into Takashi miserable meet? Not on papers anymore, Meek, probation
(01:16:22):
and all that. Oh, he's well, I still think you
did the same, the right thing with the money you
got an elevate. I'm with you. I think you did
the right thing. Yeah. And Takashi is he he's a
child and he's performing like you know, these little boys
performing when a when a non federal informant runs up
on you and tries to chastise you from running with cops,
that tells you everything you need to know. Bro. Hello,
(01:16:44):
who's this. Hi? I'm Danyelle. Hey Danielle. We're asking you know,
what should me have done in that situation? Okay? So
I feel that he does the right thing by not
um catching the bait to it. He's been in so
much trouble, unnecessary trouble in the past for simple stuff
because of you know, probation and other stuff, because of
(01:17:04):
the judge he had before. So he was smart enough
not to you know, get himself bade into that with Takashi. Yeah,
I'm agree, And he's Takashi really is a child, like
when he's running up on you quoting rap lyrics. Bro. Yeah,
come on, man, he was smart enough not to get
into that. You know he doesn't need anything else. All right, Well,
(01:17:26):
thank you? You know I think with me too, And
and this is gonna sound so far right, what where's
me tat tie? Well, I don't want me to have
a I'm just going to talk about his tat I
was like, I don't want me to have a ta tie.
Say that is, if jay Z was in that situation, right, No,
(01:17:49):
I wouldn't be at point the game. It wouldn't be
taught back back then. It would be a nice white
undercover security guard who can legally pop you back then.
Who would have been I don't know, I'm not saying
I'm not putting that type of information. Okay, I don't
know who it would have been. All right, story you
said something earlier too, what you say you said Meek
(01:18:10):
might getting the soul charge. I said he could. I
mean he spit on the guy. Allegedly, he said, spit
on him. Easy win for me. If I'm meets lawyer,
I would say six nine told my client kids D.
So my clients spit on him as a warm up. Okay, listen, man,
you got to say what you have to say with
the case. What are you talking about? Because I mean
(01:18:30):
to Goshi can't say, you know, you spit on me,
which is the sauce. So you're saying, I'm the lawyer
the lawyer, Hey my uh this man told my client
kids D. My client did spit on him, but it
was as a warm up to his request. All right,
you gotta say what you have to say to win
a case. What's wrong with you? All right? We got
rumors on the way. Uh yeah, let's talk about since
(01:18:52):
we're talking about fighting pac Man Jones. He was arrested
and he's explaining his side of the story about a
fight that went down at a bar. All right, we'll
get into that next. It's the breakfast Club. Good morning,
the breakfast club. You this is the rule of report
with Angela Ye. Well, pac Man Jones. First, people were
(01:19:21):
talking about the situation. He actually got arrested for beating
a security guard unconscious at a nightclub in Cincinnati, and
according to reports, they said that he had issues with
the security guard, who was known for having a bad attitude. Now,
pac Man Jones has already done an interview and here's
what he took. He said on the Pat McAfee show.
(01:19:42):
The bouncer dude came in, like everybody got out here
at the time. I don't even here to do what
he's saying because I'm talking to the DJ. And when
I turn around and he said, hey, y'all want to fight,
That's when punches and chairs and personally I'm done fighting, bro, Like,
lest somebody want to pay me, I'm cool with it
any celebrity one sixty nine, one seventy, but man, I
(01:20:06):
got kids. I got so much other that I'm working
on besides being the mother in the club. Yeah. So
he's saying it was like an issue between these different
bouncers at clubs, and they were trying to prove a
point because the security got kicked out of another club
the week before. But he also wanted people to know
that he was not drunk. He said if he was,
he would have been booked for for that, but he
(01:20:27):
was not drunk at all. I will say sometimes that
these clubs and venue security, they do take it a
little too far and they are a little disrespectful sometimes,
and you know, sometimes you meet somebody that's not gonna
take the disrespectful, that's your same size and put you
on your ass. I love right now. That's all I
get from all of these conversations, the houses in the
spot bro now justin Timberlake has apologized to Britney Spirits
(01:20:49):
and Janet Jackson way later, but he posted I've seen
the messages, tax comments and concerns, and I want to respond.
I'm deeply sorry for the times in my life and
my actions contributed to the problem where I spoke at
a turn or did not speak up for what was right.
I understand that I felt short in these moments and
in many others, and benefited from a system that condones
misogyny and a racism. I specifically want I apologize to
(01:21:12):
Britney Spears and Janet Jackson, both individually, because I care
for and respect these women and I know I failed.
I also feel compelled to respond, in part because everyone
involved deserves better, and most importantly, because this is a
larger conversation that I wholeheartedly want to be part of
and grow from. I wonder if Janet and Britney care,
because I don't too little, too late. Maybe Janet and
(01:21:32):
Britney mean waiting on that apology. I wasn't, but hey,
who am I? I'm sure Jane i Am needed it
ten years ago? And when all those endorsements would drop,
wouldn't let her do a lot money? Old damn we
old ye? No, I don't know. It was from two
thousand and four. That's when that's who bo was. Yeah,
still longer than like seventeen years or two. And he
(01:21:55):
you know, he dated Britney Spears. And from nineteen ninety
nine to two thousand and two, what was he apologizing for?
A game for? Who? What did you apologize for? Oh?
Because he spoke a lot about the relationship with Britney
Spears and what went wrong. I think publicly they threw
her under the bus. And there's a documentary out now
about Britney Spears where all these things have been revitalized.
(01:22:19):
And he didn't treat her well. And then with Janet
Jackson for not speaking up on her behalf when she
was losing all those opportunities and he made jokes about it. Oh,
I stay all the white people's business man Jane Jon
ain't talking Jani Jackson's black as justin Britney. I don't
know nothing about none of that. I don't know what's what,
but I'm sure for that got done wrong. Maybe it's
(01:22:40):
some closure, you know, for both of them as far
as that time perioded like somebody who did not treat
them well and did not stand up for them, and
he's being accountable for it. Who knows, but yes, he
apologized to them because of the backlash that he was
receiving on social media or let's be king. Yeah, absolutely,
he should give us some money all the money she lost.
That's what we should do. Nice all right, Now let's
(01:23:03):
discuss this whole situation with Monnie Slouda. Now, she did
an interview on Live with Kenja G and she was
talking about April Jones. Well, she's in loving hip hop okay,
and she also has a child with Fizz Little Fizz
from B two K. But anyway, she did an interview
with H with Kenja G and she talked about April Jones.
(01:23:23):
April Jones has a baby with all Marian and She
also dated a little fizz, allegedly dating dating doctor Dre,
because she was spotted out with doctor j the other
day going out to dinner. Here's what she had to say.
The person that asked me if um April and Drey
are together, Yes, they are, and it's been a while
that they've been together, so I've known for a while.
I was shocked that someone has established and refined as
(01:23:46):
Dre would almost wipe her what I'm not the body
slew to my sister Kendra g Kendra always getting some
good stuff on that damn Instagram live. But I thought,
morn and they not friends. I guess you can't. It's
a weird. It's a weird relations relationship. Somebody is well
(01:24:07):
and refined. If Dre Dayton my friend him, she did
not say her friend, She did not call her her friends.
But here is now, just recently in Moni's posted that.
I guess she's saying that doctor Dre. She's been getting
some phone calls. Listen to this. You know what. I
did not want to believe that Dre was a woman beater,
(01:24:27):
but after the couple of phones, I literally just had
he's a woman the artists for sure. How did they
know Dre had people calling, not April having people call them. Well,
I don't know who's calling her, and I don't know
what was said, so I can't tell you. Yeah, if
doctor Dre didn't call her and threatened her personally, that's
a wild claim to make on somebody because you got
(01:24:48):
a call from someone who may or may not be
affiliated with doctor Dre. Well, we don't know what the
call was. We don't know if she's saying doctor Dre
called it. We don't know what happened. So I'm sure
she's gonna tell him. It's a lot more audio. I mean,
that was just a clip they played, but it's a
lot more. All right, Well that is your rumor report,
all right, shout out to revote. We'll see you tomorrow.
(01:25:08):
Everybody else, let's get to the mix. It's the Breakfast Club.
Come on morning. Everybody is stj Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne
the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. It's Black History Month.
What we're doing today, Today's Black History Month. Legend is
none other than Janet Jackson. Okay, Janet Jackson put out
a classic body of work in nineteen eighty six called Control, Control,
(01:25:31):
and last week that album shot back to the top
of the Apple charts. I think last week was the
thirty fifth anniversary of the Control album. I saw quest
Love posting about it. I saw the Shading Room posting
about it. I even had some group chat debates about
what was the better album musically, Control or Thriller Musically.
I'm just talking music right. Personally, I think it's closer
(01:25:51):
than folks think. But I want to take this time
to salute the legend that is Janet Jackson, and she
took the time to think her millions of fans last
week herself as well. The Breakfast Club presents a new
Black History Month legend. I was at home just the
other day by myself, and I began to cry. I
(01:26:13):
was crying because I was so thankful for all that
God has blessed me with all that He has given me.
And I'm so thankful for Him being in my life.
And I'm so thankful for all of you being in
my life. You're so special to me, and I want
to thank all of you for making Control number one
once again after thirty five years. I never, in a
(01:26:39):
million years, I would never think that this would happen.
I really appreciate you and I love you so so much.
Thank you. And that was another New Black History Month
legend courtesy of the Breakfast Club flew to Janet Jackson.
She also finally got an apology from Justin timber Lake.
I'm sure it was too little, too late, but if
that's something she would waiting on, I'm glad she got it.
(01:27:02):
Let's salute Janet Jackson a New Black History Month legend.
And who had the better album envy Janet Jackson with
Control of Michael Jackson Thriller. I don't know if that's
such an easy one, bro, I really don't. Thriller had
ten songs on it. Janet Jackson had ten songs on Control.
Control had some joints. Man, you're talking about what have
(01:27:22):
you done for me lately? The pleasure principle? Nasty when
I think of you. Let's wait a while, Funny how
time flies like? That album had seven singles on it,
Beat It, Billy Jean, want to Be Started Something, The
Girl is Mine, Human Nature, pretty young thing. Great album
and listen, great album, seven singles. Control Ain't no Control,
(01:27:44):
ain't no hole, bro, That's all I'm saying. Control ain't
no joke. Control and Thriller closer than people think. I
think so anyway, But that's just my opinion. All right,
Well that is your Black History Month legend, Miss Janet Jackson.
Shout to Janet Jackson. You know, I DJ for what
you're gonna tour? I did what you're just gonna tell
(01:28:04):
a lie like that, a DJ her tour when she
went from station to station, city to city, a radio tour.
I was the one DJ and I did a little bit.
I did believe you. Nobody believe you. She shouted me.
I don't want to six and Paul, that's a lie,
she said, I envy, that's what she said. Shut up. Now,
let me shout out to everybody that was heading to
(01:28:24):
Atlanta February twenty eighth for my real estate seminar. We
actually had to push it back two weeks, and that's
because one of the speakers got COVID. You think he's actually, uh,
it'll be done quarantine in this week, but we just
want to give a little extra time. It's going to Atlanta,
No huh, it's you'a going to Atlanta. We shore want
people to be safe. COVID is welcoming and shut up.
(01:28:46):
You see how they ain't living. It's not We're just
gonna go down and then add on to what's already
going on. We gotta make sure everybody's good, everybody's quarantine.
We gotta keep everybody safe. So shout out to the
Credit Duty recently at COVID So, oh no, all right,
well I hope he's okay and he's not having symptoms.
Two weeks, just to make everybody clear. And you know,
it's still the same thing. We're gonna be doing testing
before you get in and all that other stuff. An
(01:29:07):
he plays other than Atlanta, I would agree with you.
You're going people, yo, stop it Atlanta, Florida, Texas, wide
open ages out there, heard immunity all day long. Welcome
to the party, Welcome to the party. Getting this gracious.
So shout to the Credit Dude, shout the Jose. And
I just want to send some love to everybody who's
out there right now going through it because if this weather,
(01:29:29):
I know people have lost power, they don't have heat,
and there's a lot of people right now struggling and
suffering right now. So I'm sending you so much to
love and prayers because it's not over anytime soon. So
you know, everybody's going through a lot right now. Absolutely,
and keep your immune system up. I'm gonna stop by
the Juice Bart today just to make sure I continue
my shot, to make sure that my immune systems stay strong.
(01:29:49):
But you lacking vitamin D. You're lacking what you got
Vitamin D. You play too much. And if anybody, if
you guys are in Detroit, Detroit's getting ten inches of
snow today, so shout out to everybody there. We actually
had to close our private label store for the day
just because the weather is so bad. Anybody wants to
(01:30:11):
go sit on that ten inches just to see manositive note,
Man listen. The positive note is simply, this change is painful,
but nothing is as painful. It's things stuck somewhere you
don't belong. Breakfast club, y'all, finitul, y'all dumb,
