We're really feeling good. Tired, but you know I feel good.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Run around doing press for the TV show.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Yes, we're doing Fashion Week.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Vas h.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
No, but a couple of times, I know, I know
it's like you will.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Let tylor Swift be out there.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Really really, I know I should have went.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
I told you now why reality show? Now? At this point, ah,
you know.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
We've been doing reality TV for a while.

Speaker 6 (00:55):
We're at a different phase in our lives, so, you know,
a growth, a lot of changes. So we decided to
bring the nosy people back into our world.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
That I wouldn't would think y'all would want to be
bothered at this point.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
Yeah, I mean, we was just, you know, happy to
do something the two of us together for the first time.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
That was a following relationship. Is it businesses? Is it
both is it a all of that?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
All of it?

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Yeah, relationship, family business.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Do you want one of that feeling and the relationship
stuff and all that?

Speaker 7 (01:27):
Again, well, somebody didn't want to find inside of it,
which one.

Speaker 8 (01:34):
Of y'all didn't want to do it. Somebody didn't somebody
didn't want to do it.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
I mean it's like you go through things.

Speaker 6 (01:41):
Nothing is it's perfect, like you know, and whether you
do a reality show or not, if you're going through something,
you're gonna be on the blocks and y'all gonna be
talking about.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
I feel like people tell our story anyway, and so
you might as well now eat your own stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
But you do know it, Like if it's a little
argument in the crib, it's a little argument in the crib,
it's over. But now when it's a little argument and
it's outside the crib, that argument is always.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
A lot bigger.

Speaker 6 (02:03):
Yeah, But you don't have to everything don't have to
be shown. And you know what I'm saying, Like you
ain't gonna put every situation out there to keep filter
certain things.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
That's just what it is.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
What did y'all learn from doing reality TV previously that
y'all applied.

Speaker 6 (02:22):
To this, Well, you know the thing about it is,
I've we've always been transparent and like real and authentic
to who we are. We never claim to be perfect.
We go through things, ups and downs, and we okay
with we okay with like shit living our lives out loud.

(02:42):
So what we learned before is it's like, I don't
like to focus too much heavy on my relationship for
real because you know I've done that on TV before
and yeah it is sometimes it is a It does
have that negative thing to it because you're allowed so
many opinions to come into your situation.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
But ship it it is what it is.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
But you're newly with now I am. How do you
know he was the one?

Speaker 6 (03:10):
Because he is such a genuine person, He's real oriented,
He's like you know, I feel like that's my person.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
That's like, you know, my best friend.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
So that's you know, Yeah, he's a sagittarius.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Could you like him from the door originating?

Speaker 4 (03:34):
This girl is so hooked on the side, like girl.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
But another thing with rad is that he's always accepted
me like I was his daughter, like always loved me
like one, always just like respected me, and my mom
showed me that he respect my mom so much.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
So he was good in my eyes from day one?

Speaker 3 (03:53):
How you have you always been like that? When when
your mom dated somebody, like, all right, let me give it.
Have you always been there?

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Now?

Speaker 1 (03:58):
I ain't funk with him right away.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Mam mama. Yeah, my mama never thought man like you know,
she's she always like she's a wife, you know, like
my mama. The people that I have met, it's but

(04:21):
it's not. No, I ain't never been on. No, my
mom is the type. She's a grown woman. She's my
mother first, and that's just what it is. Like I
respect my mom is my mom.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
About her boyfriends, well, you.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
Had two boyfriends that are well when she was younger,
three boyfriends. But it was okay, cool, like I like
her for real, for real, like you know, growing up
and like in the beginning, it's tough because I dated

(04:59):
a rap so of course I didn't want my daughter
to follow those footsteps and data rapper.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
But you can't help who you love, so yes, I
always I didn't.

Speaker 6 (05:08):
I appreciate when she she told me this is my friend.
I was like, don't do it. But then you gotta
let them.

Speaker 8 (05:15):
But even back then he was you know, he was
still on the combo, but he still was a different,
different level of it.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
He was a rapper, and I was trying to warn her.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
He did good to all time.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
I'm just saying, he's still a rapper.

Speaker 6 (05:33):
So I was trying to give a game like you know,
but oh no, then I want to hear me. She
was like, no, that's my friend. I trust me. I
got this, that's my friend. And Dan boom.

Speaker 8 (05:43):
I was like, h in tell people that you kind
of like want to stay away from, like the rapper,
the athlete, Like what is it?

Speaker 6 (05:52):
Yeah, the represent is at the top of the list
Jesus for me, you know, because she knows that life
oh so well. So it's like, yeah, why are you
away put yourself in it?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Did you say I told you so?

Speaker 4 (06:07):
I did not. Did I say I told you so?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
No?

Speaker 4 (06:10):
You say I just let her? I just let up,
you know.

Speaker 6 (06:15):
Get she's better with it now, like she knows what
she wants and she's she's doing good on it at level.

Speaker 8 (06:22):
I love the dynamic, you know, I like I like
watching even my wife with my daughters. But are y'all
did you raise her like a friend or daughter?

Speaker 4 (06:29):
I'm gonna let her answer that now.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
My mother growing up, she always said, you know, I'm
your mother, not your friend. Now that I am about
to be twenty five years old, I can call her
like I'm still hesitate. I could call her my friend sometimes,
but she's not. No, She's always been my mother, like
and I'm thankful for it because I look at her

(06:53):
as my mother, like I don't even if I slip
up and cuts, I be like, ooh sorry, Like it's like, mom,
I got a different I don't respect for her because
she's always put that on me.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
It was so crazy because we've seen her grow up.
So in the fact that she says she's twenty five,
I'm like, oh Jesus.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Christ, that make me feel like I'm getting old.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
We're getting a season, Yeah, we're seasoned.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Yeah, that's what you call it. Season.

Speaker 8 (07:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Working on this show bring y'all closer together.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (07:20):
We've always had a really close relationship. I'm gonna be honest.
We went through our rough patch. You know every mother
and daughter do when they're growing up and start smelling
theirself and think they like super grown. We went through
that patch, but as she got older, our relationship got
stronger and stronger. But with the show, yes, you know,
because we're seeing each other a whole lot more reginated smove.

(07:41):
She live in La now, so that's time that we
get to spend together and you know, be around each
other more.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
When they go through the rough patch, what do you do?
You just let them be on their own, like you go.

Speaker 6 (07:50):
You know, you want to box them up, that's what
you yes, box them up. But it's like they just
think they know everything. That rough patch is a very
tough time for mothers and daughters.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
How'dy'all fix it?

Speaker 6 (08:05):
I think time fixed it and then like life experiences,
you know, she started to realize things that I was
trying to tell her. But I'm one of them mothers,
Like I really been trying to avoid her, like I
can see it before it happened. But I have to
understand that you was once age and it took you
going through these things to learn. You know, it was

(08:26):
the life lessons is was taught you and made you
the woman you are today. So you got to allow
her that same type of you know, growth, like for
her to learn and go through things. But it's just
tough just watching them just running to the and you're
trying to stop them. It's like girl, listen to me.
But you know, now we're you know, that's my buddy.
We talk about everything and them rough patches is over

(08:49):
every now and then we might have a little disagreement
us bad, but that's that don't happen often.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
What made you realize mama was right?

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Okay, Well she's my mom.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
I feel like, come at this point, even when they're
even when your parent is not right, you gotta let
them be right. Like it's like she can't like you can't. No,
she's right like usually on life things say, for instance,
like friends, things like this, everything that she call out.
She's usually right on everything. But it's like, I feel

(09:23):
like our generation is different. Things are changing. A lot
of stuff is different from when she was younger, when
she was coming up. So I feel like it's certain
things where she's like, oh, you know, nay, move like this,
and I'm like mine, it's a different time now. Like
so that's the things where it's like i'd be like, man,
get where you're coming from, but we moving like this
now or it's so that's what it goes. It goes

(09:45):
handing in but she always keeps me humble and keeps
me like.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
You know you don't want to move.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
Yeah, I don't move, And that's why I don't move
like my generation.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
That's why I'm glad.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
I'm glad that I have my mom because she's always
having me my shoulder, like, oh no, you're not doing that,
you're doing this.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
We like.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
Now that I'm grown, I'm like, always have her in
the back of my head, even if it's something that
I know my mom wouldn't like and I know it's
not good for me.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
I'm like, my mama, well, I ain't wasn't even raised
like that.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Do you look at her like you're grown?

Speaker 6 (10:16):
Yeah? I do.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
I treat her like she's grown.

Speaker 6 (10:19):
Yeah, don't gonna be her baby forever. I do look
at her like she's grown. But it's like, oh, it's hard,
like this generation with social media, like the different things
that's going on. It's like, I'm like, I don't want
my daughters to be like that, you know. I want
them to have some class about them. I want them
to respect themselves. I want them to always remember, you

(10:41):
are the queen, and you deserve somebody that's gonna treat
you like the queen, Like, don't be out here telling
all your business to the internet. You have a village,
Like I be trying to like stop them, but it's
so hard because this is what everybody in their generation
is doing. So I'm like, okay, when you put on
clothes leaves something to the imagination.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
We all like to be sexy. We go through our phases, but.

Speaker 6 (11:03):
Like, don't be completely exposing every part of your body,
like all kinds of stuff.

Speaker 8 (11:10):
Be trying to get on And then you pull up
a picture of you and you was eighteen.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
So Reginald, how does it feel like you know your dad?
It seems like people are giving your dad as flowers. Now,
for years you've been talking about nobody was giving him
the flowers, but it seems like in the last couple
of years people have been pouring into him, giving them
as flowers.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
And how does that feel?

Speaker 4 (11:31):
You know what?

Speaker 5 (11:32):
I'm about to read the text that I just text
him yesterday because honestly, this is how I feel. I said,
I said, you deserve all of these moments you're getting
in more in their coming. I'm so happy for him.
I feel like my dad is like not that like
he's not that vocal. He's very like to himself. Like
you know, if you know him, you know him, so.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
It's like.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
He don't really He not the type that's gonna ask
for it or gonna say like he wanted or he
needed or he whatever. But I feel like in his soul,
all of this love that he's getting, I feel like
as a man, it's something that he needed, Like every
man just needs a different love, a different type of
like honor, because I feel like it's so much that

(12:18):
he does. He takes care of so many people, He
gets so many things together, so I feel like for
him to get his flowers at this time, it is
just a blessing.

Speaker 8 (12:26):
I think it's because we're in an era where we've
seen so many greats die. He didn't celebrate them when
it was him, So it's like, while we have these
icons still here, these living legends still here, YO, salute him.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Celebrate them, especially people that have been around for a song.

Speaker 8 (12:41):
And me, like way even around twenty five years, I'm
looking with his ninety six literally since like ninety six
because I'm from South Carolina, so we was getting that
old cash money, BG baby gangster tation, all of that
way way way way way back, and.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
I love that, and I love say I love to
see him doing so much more like doing these award shows,
like hearing them backstage at these concerts and come and
out doing surprise performances.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
I love to see that. I think people miss that
and the.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Fact that whatever it is that's that's making him do it,
I love it because I love to see.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Him more and more and more, which is which is great?

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Is he gonna be on the reality show?

Speaker 8 (13:11):
He'd be like, keep them cameras away.

Speaker 5 (13:15):
Well, you know, the reality show is with me and
my mom and our life and what we got going on,
So you know, Sarlane, But you know, at the end
of the day, my dad is always supportive with anything
that I do, So you know, I just got to
say too, like pop up, never know and why l A?

Speaker 4 (13:33):
Everybody keep asking me. Some people's like, oh my gosh,
good movies.

Speaker 8 (13:37):
I like l but at you know, when you're from
the South, I feel like we'll get you five acres
down South.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
L A.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
I feel like with I just spend in Atlanta for
so long, and I wanted a different scene, Like I
wanted to change sceneries, and I wanted to also go
to a point where it's like I'm uncomfortable for a minute,
Like I feel like Atlanta, Like you said you could
buy acres and you could do this, and you could
do that. Like I wanted to get to a place

(14:05):
where it's like I want to be uncomfortable, to get
that comfortable again. I told my mom about to go
to la about to give me your place. I sent
her to place. She's like, oh, Okay, you got all
of this together. I'm like, I'm going to get it
together because I got I'm gonna pray to God and
got my manager together with it. So I'm excited about it.

(14:26):
And I feel like with acting, due to the strength
and stuff. Hopefully when it's strike open back up, it's
gonna be perfect for me because I'm gonna be out
there and stuff.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
But I think it's just perfect. I love it.

Speaker 5 (14:38):
Every time I wake up, I'm like, yeah, that's what I'm.

Speaker 8 (14:39):
Supposed to be there a couple of months ago. Did
that changed your mind about Yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
That's another thing. My house almost got broken into, so
that kind of.

Speaker 7 (14:49):
Like yeah, Atlanta, So this was in Atlanta.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
Brutal, Yeah, very yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:59):
So it's like that's it's like everything happens for a reason.
Now I feel like since that happened, I am very
careful on how I post when I post what I posed.
So it's like I needed that to happen kind of
for me to like stop showing so much.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
I was gonna ask, you know, your dad wrote one.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Of your verses for the BET Awards. You ever thought
about doing it?

Speaker 2 (15:20):
No?

Speaker 5 (15:21):
Actually, I'm not good at rapping. Like honestly, even with
me and my friends are in the room, I just
couldn't never get the bars. He took it all like,
I got a lot of talents like acting that this
we know, but the rapping stuff, I just could never
get a bar.

Speaker 8 (15:38):
How does we approach y'all to That's what I was thinking, like,
because y'all got money, So what is we?

Speaker 2 (15:42):
What is we? How do you approach y'all? Entice, y'all
even want to do this?

Speaker 6 (15:45):
Well, a friend of ours who works really close to
the network, he actually helped work on a lot of
the shows. He I did a movie with them, a
Christmas movie, and he was like, I'm wanted to do
a show with you and Reginad And it was around
the time I was getting married. I was like, I
think they were talking like a wedding thing. I was like,

(16:05):
oh no, I'm not interested in that, and so he
came back and he talked to me about doing a
show with me and Ny and I talked to her
about it, and you know, we gave it a shot.

Speaker 4 (16:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (16:17):
So it was like a friend of ours who worked
like on a lot of shows over there.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
So the dollars were right then, and the dollars were
right that boy. Yeah, do y'all know how many seasons
y'all gonna do? You'll just gonna take it one season
at the time.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
We're gonna take it one season at a time.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
And how many episodes.

Speaker 6 (16:33):
This first one? We just did six episodes for the
first one.

Speaker 8 (16:37):
And for you regenate, like, you know, if you are dating,
do you put these guys on TV because you don't
want to make people hot?

Speaker 2 (16:43):
For boy, you have a tendency my god.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
So I mean, like my mom said earlier.

Speaker 5 (16:56):
We we definitely show our lives and show you know,
everything that is a part of it. And yeah, you know,
I definitely have put my last relationship on the TV.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
You regret it?

Speaker 5 (17:12):
No, I don't live life on YouTube. Yeah, on YouTube,
So I don't live life with no regrets. Like I
feel like, hey, you know, I'm gonna have I'm gonna
be blessed no matter what.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
I know.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
Everything that I do, my intentions are pure.

Speaker 8 (17:27):
So it's like, I guess you might as well get
a check for it.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Welldays, nine pm.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
We're actually three episodes in, so yeah, they left.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
It's been really good fey'all.

Speaker 8 (17:56):
Y'all go on social to see what people are saying,
and y'all don't want to that's what y'all mental is about.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
Oh yeah, we live tweet on Thursdays when a show
come on. And surprisingly it has not been negative stuff
like that.

Speaker 8 (18:09):
I mean, it's very hard to hate on y'all.

Speaker 6 (18:21):
They'll find something, but it han't like surprise. I'm like
really surprised because it really is a family show. It's
very relatable.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
It's real.

Speaker 6 (18:30):
My mom is on there, she's a character, she's funny,
my brother, my sister who has a kind of open
relationship situation. It's just different family dynamics and it's a
little drama on there, of course, and you know, people
was reginated with her relation, her past relationship, and you know,
me and my friends.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
It's just like.

Speaker 6 (18:51):
A real, relatable, real show. And I feel like if
I'm a due reality TV, I wanted. I want it
to be authentic to who I am for real and
what I deal with on a day to day because
I get lots of people telling me, you know how,
me sharing my family life has helped them to repair
relationships and different things. And I feel like if I'm
able to help somebody in that way, Like why not

(19:14):
you have.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
A skincare routine? I feel like you need to come
out with skincare products.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
I really need to work on it. I really do.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Because you ain't aging at all.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
That's a blessing. That's really unblessing.

Speaker 6 (19:28):
I guess that's what minding your business, drinking your water
and staying out the way. You know, I ain't trying
to mind nobody business, but mind and I'm staying in
my own lane.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
Well, Toya and Regenad, we appreciate you for joining us.
You can check them on we TV every Thursday at
nine pm.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
And has changed you? Remember the first time you came
up here.

Speaker 4 (19:48):
I want. I was like, what what you about to say?

Speaker 2 (19:51):
I love you?

Speaker 4 (19:52):
I always I.

Speaker 6 (19:55):
Think the first time I came it was like some
little shady stuff going on on the internet, So that
was like the first question.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
I used to, I think, but I always.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
You always was cool though.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Yes, I always used.

Speaker 8 (20:06):
To say I wanted a midget that looked like, oh.

Speaker 9 (20:12):
That we almost made it out. I'm sorry I said
involved something old though, but that would be dope.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
A midget that.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
Looked like I don't know, I just thought that would
be so pretty and cute, like a little midget looked
just like toy.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
Little teddy, little pretty cute like gentlemen, toy resonate. Thank
you so much. It's the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
