The Black Effect Presents... Reality with the King!

RHOP ladies, take note: less is definitely more — in Jassi’s bachelorette party looks and in this battle to prove who’s a “10.” Because let’s be honest… we need a few 5s, maybe even a couple 3s, to keep things interesting. Are we buying Stacey’s claim that she didn’t sleep with Chris Samuels? The producer cams said “let’s roll!” this week, and honestly… we’re grateful!

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King.
I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your
favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey
and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and
Bell Collective. Every episode we recap reality television from the
Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in

(00:27):
addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or
scripted as well. All right, so, Rain drobs, we are
now getting into being the latest episode of the Real
Housewives of Potomac. Claudia already starting it off with Angel

(00:50):
feeling uncomfortable. So let's just listen. Let's get into the episode.
Let's get right into it. Before we get to Angel
in disguise, I do want to get Hi Branda.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
My favorite album.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I want to get into the admission that Stacy said
off camera from a producer camera about the fact that listen,
she admits that she was hanging out with Chris Samuels,
who is the current ex husband of Monique Samuels. Stacey said, look,
I was going through something. I'm single, he's single. He

(01:28):
is super cool and respectful, but said that she did
not sleep with him, Dustin, do you buy it? And
why do you think Stacey lied on camera about it?

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Could Stacy be lyon? We are and we know that
about her now, it's part of her charm. At this point,
Shank told no malicious lies that have ruined nobody's damn
life yet so we've been able to enjoy her lion ass.
You know what I'm saying. I'm thoroughly enjoying her lion ass.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
On this show. And she did lie.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Ain't no telling what her and Chris Samuels did, but
I like the way she told it. You know, she
set it up right. If you want to deliver some information,
add context, you know what I'm saying, paint the picture.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
And that's exactly what Stacy did.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
I also want to give a nod and also talk
about the producer cam for a second, right, because whoever
that producer was that was camming in that moment, You're
messy and I love you for it. First of all,
the angle was from upstairs. Somebody was upstairs leaning over
a rail with a cell phone here hustling and recording that.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
That's what that was. That's why the angle was shot
the way it was.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
That was somebody turning around the corner and leaning with
a phone out, and that is hilarious to me.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
I want to know who it was.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I will find out for you. But shot up to
the producer made that moment happen. Claudia, what are your
thoughts on this? Because listen, a lot of people do
get on reality stars for not being real, not being honest.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
It does seem to.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Be this trope that people nowadays do get on reality
television and want to be able to select which truth
that they want to talk about on these shows. Some
people have gone away with it for a very long time.
It seems to be this new trend. You obviously have

(03:20):
been on reality television on several shows. What are your
thoughts on that? And why do you think Stacy does
it to begin with? And why do you think the
audience forgives her for doing it?

Speaker 5 (03:31):
They forgive her because she's not being like fake about
her fakeness?

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Mm hmm, you know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (03:37):
Like, I know that sounds like wait what, but she's like,
she's in on it as well. She's not oblivious. She
knows what she's doing. And it's funny like if she
was just a little bit delusional, it'd be like Yawan boring.
Oh she's annoying, but she leans in all the way
and that's what makes her fun to watch. Do I
think her and Chris Samuels did something, Yes, I do,

(03:59):
just because the her face lights up when she was
talking about him. When you pay attention to body language
like I do, I look at people's body language and
the look and their eye when they say things, not
their words. Words can be whatever. You can't hide when
someone's lip turns up on the corner, when they get

(04:19):
a glimmer in their eye, when they look like they're blushing,
they look like a schoolgirl and they talk about someone,
just like how Giselle gave it all away in her
face about her man. It is so obvious if you
look at people's actions and there's things that they can't
control and they think they are and don't listen to
the words. That's why I be not people lying or
telling the truth. I just be looking at like other stuff.

(04:39):
Don't look. Look look how they look up into the
left when they're talking. Look how they're well. No, like
words mean nothing. But I do think it's I don't
think it's as big of a scandal as people want
it to be. Monique and Chris Samuels are divorced, yea
if they If Facy and Monique were friends, that'd be
something different. Were they friends, I don't think so, right,

(05:00):
they don't know any she owes her that they owe
each other nothing. Monique can go date Stacy's ex husband
she wants to because there's no connection there. I think
it sounds good because we know Monique's coming back, so
it's like ooh. But clearly, if Monique still want to
be with Chris, I'm sure she could be as she
wanted to. Okay, but she's whatever that that chapter is close.

(05:21):
It's not that big of a deal. But yeah, I
do think they mess around, just from her body language.
I think she told them herself. And yeah, I think
there is a lot of pressure on reality shows to provide.
You have to have something going at all times. And
the Potomac Women the way they are going so hard
this season, it almost feels like everybody feels like their
job is on the line. The way every single episode,

(05:41):
every single scene, there's no break, No one gets to
just chill, like you got to have your head on
a swivel with this cast, because if you don't, you
will get climbed. And I feel like that's what I know.
I'm bringing up Angel very early on this conversation. I
think Angel is uncomfortable because when she watched the show,
I don't think she realized how difficult was in that pit.
Like these women are quick, quick, quick, and they clock

(06:04):
every little thing, and they don't let you rest for
five seconds. They don't. And I don't think Angel is
a bad person. I think she's just green. She's just
green doing reality. She's not green watching, but she's green
doing it. And I do think that there ain't gonna
lie this last episode. She does inflict cause a lot
of stuff on herself, Like she picks the worst time
to like have a gripe with something like I wish

(06:26):
she'd like kind of pick and choose when she Okay,
maybe I'll talk about that later. She kind of ruins
the moment sometimes. But I will say the other girls
to me, are very much the type of girls and
that gang up on one person when they feel weakness,
like they're like a wolf pack. When they sense any
weakness amongst the pack, they gonna just go for that
person's achilles heel achilles tending the whole show, and it's

(06:48):
almost getting a little old. You know, this woman's insecure
right now. She's the bigger girl the group. I almost
gonna go ahead and say it. She's coming off of
giving birth and these girls are kind of they are
being a little bit mean girlish to her. They keep
on want this to her. You know, she's sensitive. She's
still not comfortable in this group. And I don't really
know if reality is for her when I see this,

(07:08):
because when they see you showing weakness, they're gonna keep
on picking that scap.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
I actually agree with you, and we will get into
the rest of the episode. I'm gonna start by saying this,
this is my advice to the Potomac cast. I think
the production is fine. The producers are doing a great job.
This is not about the producers. This is the great season.
It's not about that. But to me, this is my

(07:34):
fair warning to the Botomac ladies, and this is a
fair warning to our reality shows, mine included.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
You know, I'm not.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Gonna sit there and say it's more it's not about
the production. It's more about the It's more about the cast.
Everybody can be a force multiplier own b shows.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Okay, I will.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Always bring up this show, and I don't care how
many times I bring it up. I don't care how
many times I get exhausted about me bringing it up,
because this cast is the best cast to ever.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Be on reality television.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
And I will go on record saying that when you
look at the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season nine on down, Okay,
the beauty of that cast is everybody played their role,
and everybody played their position. Is the reason why we
love Cynthia Bailey. She never wanted to be Nini. Nini

(08:28):
never wanted to be Phaedra. Phaedra was Phaedra. Porscha was Porsche,
Claudia was Claudia. You know you you Candy was Candy,
Liz goes on and off, SHARAE Kim Kim. It was
never a show as much as activated as Sharik Willfield
can get. Charai Whfield was was a silent.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
You know that, you know it took her, you know
it was a solid killing came Bam and Phaedra lean
in on the justice position of being a church girl,
a lawyer, and also being somebody who had these sexual overtones, right.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
So they all lean into what they were.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
But I never I never looked at those girls like
they're all trying to be the Queen Bee. They all
respected that every girl played their role. When I look
at this current Catapotomac, I need everybody to stop doing
Gaselle's job.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
And I'm gonna say it, it's.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
If I if Gaselle Brian is great at being Gazelle
and let her do her. It was one of those
things where I remember and and and I regretfully forgot
to mention bequeen the legend of icon, Kenymore, who is
everything to me, So blame my memory, not my heart.

(09:57):
I remember producing Season eight Atlanta Housewives and we were
in Miami and the girls was, you know, nothing was
happening really, And I've remember somebody saying, where's Kenya. I'm
not gonna say who said it, And they're like, get
Keny over here, because when Kenya's around, something happens. I

(10:18):
bring that up to say, that's when you know you
have a team.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
And I feel like Potomac is not operating as a team.
I feel like Potomac's operating as everybody wants to be.
Tom Brady, the reason why Karen was great. Karen was proverbs.
Dustin Ross on Twitter Don't Start.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
And noumb on be nine.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
And when I look at this episode, I feel like
everybody is so messy and everybody's trying to activate one another,
and we all appreciate that that's Gizille's job. I don't
want to see Wind throw kk under the bus.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
I don't want to see.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Ashley, although she's messy and that's who she's always been.
The beauty of Ashley was actually allowed to Zelle to
be it, and Ashley wasn't when she had to be.
When I'm watching this show, I do feel like they're
ganging up on Angel. I feel like they're ganging up
on Stacy. Nobody is allowed to breathe, nobody's allowed to

(11:25):
just have a moment. I love you some, Jazzy. I'm
with Jazz to be a housewife. Even when Jazz and
Tia got into it, Jazzy, I love you down Boots.
We all can admit that Jazzy was trying to have
a moment.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
The way she.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Yelled across the table, it was so non necessary.

Speaker 5 (11:43):
It felt like it felt like I didn't get my
flute peached. Whatever, So guess what I'm gonna make. You'll
regret that johnna give you one or this is my
second chance to get one now, and it was like
less is more like we're not dumb. You don't have
to shove yourself down our throats because I feel she
got an motion in her life that she doesn't need
to do all that. It felt very forced like and

(12:04):
I think the exhaustion that Angel's feeling is what we're feeling.
Like Angel's feeling with it, like oh my god, it's
but I didn't think it'd be from all different directions.
It's everybody is doing it. It's too much like you,
Like you made a great point, Carlos, Housewives. You had
the funny one, the shady one, the classy one, the
lion one, the one that's gonna work, the one that's
gonna like pop off over here when this thing gets said,

(12:25):
the one that's gonna be bring comedy right now. You
got six wanna be Giselle's or six wanna be Niani's
or six want to be whatever is. Everyone's trying so
hard to be that girl and in that you're like
losing your what made you dope? Like let Giselle be
have that lane, but like everyone doing it. It's like
I can't keep up with who's who. Everyone's doing too much,

(12:46):
and it's like, and I started off, I love this show.
I'm a new fan of the show. Like I think
Potomac is dope as hell. I don't think it's over,
but I think everyone's on ten right now. Everyone's on ten.
When you need some eights, you need some sixes, he
needs some fives, need some threes, and that's gonna make
your show a ten. But when it's everyone's trying to

(13:06):
be uh the everyone can't be Beyonce. Okay, there's gotta
be He's gotta be a little bit of low everything.
And that's what makes it be like fit dope. Imagine
on this show, if all three of us try to
do the same thing every single show, what makes the
show work is we all know I'm gonna say some
fucking wild fit that's gonna be borderline offensive. We know

(13:30):
Dustin's gonna cush your ass out when the comments go
some way, but he's gonna know every single fact. I
can't be Dustin. I cannot do what Dustin does, and
Dustin wouldn't be as reckless and unprofessional as I am.
And then we have Carlos, who blushes when his wild
friends children go left. But that's what makes it like

(13:51):
the fans know, we know Carlos. Look at Carl's face.
When Dustin says this look Claudius Trump had a bit
to say, song is she hate? And I'm then we
know Dustin's gonna say you know, we know he's gonna
come with his stuff. But that's what makes it work.
We fit together like a puzzle. If every single show
all three of us was trying to read down like
how I do every single time, y'all would turn turn

(14:13):
the shot off. If every single show we all was
empathetic like how Carlos is to everybody. No, I love
the girls.

Speaker 7 (14:19):
I can't.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
If every show we Carlos and I tried to out
Dustin Dustin at what he knows and does and no,
well in nineteen ninety seven, will y'all would try, y'all
would turn this shi off so fast. It's just like
this show, Yeah, go.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Ahead, Dustin, let's get your thoughts on him, because we're
talking about what we're seeing when it comes to the
cast and we where we brought it was even.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Jazzy and Tia, and we love Jazzy.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
And listen every girl's gonna get it once, Jazzy, I
love you baby, it is her turn.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
It's okay, it's okay.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
I felt like Jazzy overly acted with Herbert spots up
with the fork and saying you get to watch, and
I was like, your.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Thoughts, it's real simple, y'all. Something we don't even have
to try to reinvent the wheel, right, Somebody being mad
in the argument is only entertaining when they're actually mad
and upset, right when the motherfucker is really pissed off.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
That's when that's interesting to watch.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
Heightening your your your the tone of your voice and
pointing people's face and stuff. When it's no real context
that warrants that behind it, it doesn't land well with
the audience. And that's just what happened. Rookie mistake. You know,
Jazzy is this is her second season on the show.
She's contributed a lot to the franchise, honestly as a

(15:37):
friend of the show, and so it'll be interesting to
see her move forward.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
But what we don't need are some you.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Know, feigned, uh made up ass arguments over Tia saying
that the guy that Jazzi said or who's who was
it or Keana said he had two teeth and two dreads, right,
we don't need the guys who work.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
At the Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Okay, and so she said one of the dreads was
in his pocket. But I you know, we don't need
to see a made up argument about that.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
We just don't. And it fell flat.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
That's a lesson, though, I guarantee you this Jazzy strikes
me as the type of woman that will pay attention
to that. She'll see she's gonna edit herself and give
herself notes so she'll see that. She'll watch it herself
and see that it did not land well, and she
won't do that anymore.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
You're mad because one of your girl's like, ooh, girl,
the way is flat with your girl. Oh your man
better look out. That is like something you would laugh
at for two seconds with your friends and move on.

Speaker 8 (16:35):
You.

Speaker 5 (16:35):
You would never in real life bring that over to
the next day and be you said that fourteen days
before my wedding. I'd be like, I'd be like, girl,
are you okay?

Speaker 1 (16:50):
This is reality with the King and I'm Carlos King.
Let's get back into the show. Claudia's right, and you're
right to, don't it was it was way too much.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
I do agree it's a rooky mistake.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
I still want Jazz to get her flute, but it
was a rookie mistake. But again, I think we're all saying, ladies,
we all love y'all individually, but let y'all play y'all
role when it comes to this ensemble team.

Speaker 7 (17:18):
And Claudia clock mean she talking about three of us.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
The three of us work well together because we're all individuals.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
I do want to get into Gizell versus KK and
this whole Wendy thing. So Keyanner said that she was
upset that she did not hear from Gazelle when the
altercation happened, and how Giselle said that she was the
aggressor in the situation Giselle got Vernon Bona said that
happened around the time my father had to bring cancer

(17:44):
tumor and she was dealing with the fact that he,
you know, did pass away because Wendy did spill the
beans that.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
KK hated Giselle.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Although I love you, doctor Wendy, However, uh Keanna never
said the word hated and even when Wendy said it
in person and her professionals should have say hey, but
it's how I took it again. The game of telephone
really got the best from them that situation. But Dustin,

(18:19):
what are your thoughts on that whole Giselle and Keana
and Wendy.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
I'm going with Keana with this one.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
I thought that that was horrible what happened to her
when the girl that Deborah, that's the lady's name started
all that shit in the first place. Deborah came on
that cast hanging around begging for scraps, trying to film,
and she came on that cast started all that shit,
and that was a brawl. And I know that Keana
watching Keana on this shut when she appeared as a

(18:48):
guest previously. What we've seen thus far, although feisty, although
you know, a little hot tempered at time, she's not
a violent person and she was not the aggressor in
that fight. We all saw that phone footage, we all
saw the whole situation, and Keana was not the aggressor.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Gaselle was wrong as hell, they do.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
That was Giselle doing that shit that she always does
that makes people have issues with her regarding it that
her and Robin were notorious for doing that, taking other
people's sides, twists, twisting people's words, looking at shit through
a fuck doub leans, that's all that was. Keana was
not the aggressor in that fight. She was defending herself
against that girl that wanted to be a part of

(19:27):
that show and set up there and lied on Candas's
husband saying that he was and lied on Eddie. And
you know, this is not a trustworthy person. And so
if I was Keana, that would have pissed me off
to and I would have told Jazell how I felt
about it as well. Now I do, have, of course,
empathy and grace for Gazelle losing her father. And you

(19:47):
are a person who you're out of your head when
you're dealing with grief like that, and you might do
and say things that typically are not normal for you
to do. But that kind of shit is what Jazelle
always does. And so the correlation of the two, you know,
I give her grace for that, but it still was
not surprising, and it doesn't seem like a result of

(20:07):
her agrieving.

Speaker 4 (20:08):
It seems like typical Jasel shit.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
Damn. I had a situation like this with a friend
of mine where it was very very very similar, except
it wasn't death, but like my friend, I'll say her
name because it's one of my dear friends, my girl
Tony that lives here in Dallas. I was going through
my breakup with the coach and I was very, very
devastated because it came out of nowhere, right, and my

(20:31):
friend Tony was going through a divorce. We both felt
like each other wasn't there for each other because I
think we're both aries too, so we both I think,
put on this I'm good, I don't I'm not tripping
while secretly home devastated. Right. So we didn't talk for
like six months, and all it took was one conversation

(20:53):
where she got to hear how I where I was mentally,
and I got to hear where she was, and we
both realized, damn, you know, and like it's easy to
feel like you weren't there for me, but then you
have to put yourself in other people's shoes. Yes, that
is a gazul thing from what you hear, right, But

(21:13):
we got to give her a pass a little bit
because her dad did pass and particulous one right on
this one. We can talk about other ones, but on
this one, yeah, I mean I'm not gonna be as
receptive or even paying attention to what you got going
on right now. If my dad's a nice you, my
dad dies. And then also, for k I'm not even
probably thinking about what you're going through, because all I'm

(21:34):
thinking about is this bitch trying to fight fuck me
to the club, and where were you and why was you
taking her aside? I get both they both have valid points,
but I will say, stepping back, you know, it is
hard to be empathetic for someone else when you're going
through your ship. And I honestly think that that was
a conversation that's going to change the trajectory of their friendship.

(21:55):
If they both were keeping it a buck in that country.
I do think they were. I think they're gonna I
think we're going to see a better relationship now moving forward.

Speaker 4 (22:02):
I hope I agree with that.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Dustin, how many minutes you got?

Speaker 4 (22:07):
I'm good?

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
So one of the things that we have to get into,
and this is where we're gonna bring an angel.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Okay, we'll get this recod.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
So one of the things that I want to get
into is the fact that Angel was talking to Jazz Jazz.
This is where I'm want to give you props Jazzy
as a human being. Okay, all conversations need to happen
on camera, but hey, as a human being, I'm with you, sister.

(22:40):
So with that being said, Jazzy had an off camera
conversation while the crew was on break where she did
tell Angel that a woman who is a current wag
that is, wives and girlfriends of athletes and sports stars
DMed her to say that Angel is a mean girl

(23:03):
and to watch.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Off for her. Did Angel club this woman's snagitude? Yes,
stringy hair, m we did, Angel, I like you? Off camera?

Speaker 5 (23:18):
If she kept that same energy, she we wouldn't be
having half the conversation about Angel like. She needs to
keep that. We like that Angel.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
I like that Angel. Okay.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
So with that being said, Jazz is getting her Bachford
party on Ashley licks the Adam's Apple off of Jazz.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
Not the Adam's Apple. First of all, Shade women don't
have Adam's Apples.

Speaker 8 (23:43):
Oh, I'm sorry to throw, no, no, no, no, How
did pat biology in high school.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
Follow in the community? You know, damn Adams.

Speaker 7 (23:57):
Chemistry? Okay, my bad, you tried throw Okay, shut, I've.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
Learned something today, Thank you. Very much.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Okay with that being said, all that's happening, and then
it comes up that Jazzy is being confronted by Angel
because Giselle and the girls see that Angel's not herself.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Win's like what happened while y'all were on the golf cart.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Angel proceeds to tell them what Jazzi said and then Honey,
Angel said that this woman alleged that she stole what
thirty thousand dollars or tried to steal thirty thousand dollars
from her husband.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
Bobby while they were dating, and wasn't taking birth control.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
All these wild accusations, and then she left the room
and called Bobby and started crying.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
I was so confused by that because.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
For me, it bothered Angel so much that she just
wasn't the same after hearing the information. And I would
give Jazzy her prospect fact that Jazzy did not mention
it from the girls. But Claudia, what were your thoughts
on that entire situation? And do you think like Angel
is a fit to have these confrontational conversations.

Speaker 5 (25:15):
Don't think she's unfit? Yes she is. She's not healed
from whatever's going on, like her esteem it seems to
be in the toilet again. I hope you this doesn't
hurt your feeling's Angel. I'm not trying to, but I
think you needed maybe another year after your baby before
going into doing a show like this. It's too rough
for you. And every single show we're saying she's not herself.

(25:35):
Well now I don't know what her self is because
every show I don't because every show there's a time
where she's good, then she's not. She's good that she's not,
and I hate that. That's gotta feeling shit. You can
say Jazzy did a solid by not saying it on camera,
but she did tell her on the trip. Girl, if
you weren't gonna tell her that on camera, you could
have waited till y'all got home and just called her

(25:56):
on the phone, because it definitely ruins the vibe of
the of the trip. You know, we've seen her enough
time to know once you give her some news like that,
she's gonna have an attitude. She's gonna retract, she's gonna
like she's gonna go inside her head. She's not gonna
be fun anymore like it's gonna be. She's gonna talk
shit for a minute and then ten minutes later she's
gonna be sad.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
Right.

Speaker 5 (26:16):
I just think she's just like, she's just very fragile
right now, and I think she cares so much about
what these women think of her that everything feels like
it's on ten for her. And then the girls don't
help it either, because they do kind of poke fun.
They see weakness and like a wild pack. Will let
me not say that, Like how can I can't say

(26:42):
without being offender, So let me not say it. When
people are in groups, group think mob mentality, like when
they feel like one is like kind of like limping behind,
they're gonna go for you, and you you see like
they're not really that but that for a minute, are
you okay? But then they'll go, oh, she's mad again,
you know what I mean? Like they don't really care

(27:03):
for her. They don't care.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
That's what she ain't talking about, shit, Claudia. That's why
it's not like she's talking about When Giselle talked about
losing her father, we cared about that.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
People cared about that. They were sensitive to that.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
Angel getting mad because somebody called Jazzy talking shit about her. Sorry,
we got real all the shit going on in the
world today. Okay, and then we're supposed to feel what
for her crying about that?

Speaker 4 (27:28):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
If anything, let's focus on the comedy when she walked out,
when she left out the bridal shower, which can you
a bachelorett party? Can you imagine if some niggas had
a bachelor party and got to licking on each other's
chests and pouring shots on each other's chests and shit.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
On camera, the world would implode.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
But I thought it was hilarious that they just fell
right in and all that and it was just fun.
But anyway, yeah, by the way, mob that moment when yes,
we love it.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
When she walked out, did y'all see that angel wing?

Speaker 3 (27:59):
You know she had the wings in a halo on
so when she had been sitting in that chair apparently, Yeah,
so when she walked out the wrong she walked out
in a in a huff. That motherfucking wing was bent up.
It looked like a chicken wing. It was bent up.
So and all I could think about was Sparkle. Remember
in the movie Sparkles, sister can't flying on one wing?

(28:20):
Was you can't fly on one wing?

Speaker 4 (28:25):
Baby?

Speaker 3 (28:25):
You have an agel having a hard time, and if
she would just lighten the fuck up and have fun
a little bit, like damn, everything doesn't have to be
an emotional, damning, fucking moment, like just.

Speaker 5 (28:38):
Everything's the thing, and my thing is this. If you're
a wife of an athlete, anyone that's ever dated an
athlete or a celebrity or a reality star, or is
one yourself, you have got to have bicker skin than that.
When you first date an athlete, all the girls at
one Hammo that was in his roster or whatever. I

(29:00):
don't know if he did have one or not. But
there's gonna always be a lot of girls that are
gonna be mad and comfor you. I'm surprised this ain't
old news to her by now. Like me, I'm used
to being called They're gonna call me, oh oho, lonely cat,
lady broke. It does not fail, It don't. It can't
still bother me at this point, right, it can't still
bother me, like you gotta just at this point, like girl,

(29:23):
So what I mean the man married you. I don't
think he'd marry you if you hef he really thought
that you sold thirty thousand dollars from him and try
to trap him into a baby. So at the end
of the day, Angel, I think you don't realize how
much you're really winning in real life, and you're so
worried about what these people think and the Internet and
things that you're not even like present for your blessings.

(29:44):
You had a husband that's a good looking man. I'm
not trying to get at him, that loves you.

Speaker 7 (29:49):
A child.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
You're on a popping reality show.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
She's pretty, she's got a sexy body, and.

Speaker 5 (29:56):
She's so busy worrying about what she don't have, but
what people are thinking about her that she's enjoying her life.
You have a very blessed life. Angel, and I hope
you receive this. You don't worried too much about what
the popular kids that high school sink, and I think
that's gonna be your boundfall And I hope you can
get out of your head and enjoy this. Like I
wish I could go back to my one season of
Housewives and maybe, like you know what I mean, like

(30:16):
it was fun when you look back at it and
like not everything can't be so serious, my friend, Like
I feel bad for you. I do. I feel like
you need a homegirl on there. You need a Claudia Jordan,
like what Claudia did for Kenya on season seven, to
come and help you out because you don't have it
on that shoe.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
And further to your point, you you do. That's fun.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
I remember in season seven we talked on the phone
when y'all were in Puerto Rico. Yeah, if you had
Tornini's ass up, we talked on the phone about it,
and you were laughing.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
I was afterward.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
Claudia was laughing that same damn day, so that she did,
like you have to a half.

Speaker 5 (30:50):
Bread a slut, bankrupt or horror or clip left my body,
y'all was coming from my bob, but my hair was
the only real hair inside. Me and Carlos King were
the only ones that real hair and rocking cap a swim, yeah,
they all had that. They all had twenty seven piece

(31:11):
bus downs y'all had. Y'all had all kinds of ship,
a lace front of closure. I don't know none of
that ship. I had my real short hair that was
shoulder length and it was humid, so I curled that
ship up because the ms get freezy. Real hair reacts
differently than fake care fake hair will be smooth and
silky and the most Amazon of Amazon in the forest.

(31:32):
But fake real hair is gonna react. It's gonna react,
it's gonna get So. Yes, I had a bootleg Bob
and I think that shit was mad funny. Imagine still
being upset about that. I'm not, but yeah, Colors, Colos
me the only one with real hair?

Speaker 4 (31:46):
Why why?

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Why it is at the end of the day, I
will say this.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
I will say this, Actually you had doesn't raise a
really good point because.

Speaker 5 (31:55):
Oh look it wait wait, wait real quick, let's see
the shirt. There's no black shit on there now right,
First of.

Speaker 7 (32:02):
All, girl, it never was.

Speaker 5 (32:11):
Look at you?

Speaker 2 (32:12):
Why who's wind?

Speaker 4 (32:13):
Like?

Speaker 2 (32:13):
How who waved the Whitney touch? And did this too?
I begot who was did that? So there we go.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
Yeah, yeah, no, okay, So Angel, honestly listen to Claudia.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
We got a run. But I will say this, you're
really listen. We have fun of this show.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
But I really do hope that because I think you
guys know that all the girls watch this.

Speaker 5 (32:40):
Hi, don't be mad at us. We're just trying to know.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
What I want to end by saying, is this I
really believe Claudia's given some great advice and doesn't bringing
this up. I really think I hope Angel watches and listens,
and if she is asked back for a second season,
take heed. I don't know too many women on reality
television that can be that can set your clip, left

(33:05):
your body and to be to to have that back
and forth exchange and to leave that table because mind you,
me and the producers were back there screaming, laughing, we've
never seen anything like it, and the girls heard us.

Speaker 7 (33:22):
Portia and Faitha said Carlos, can you shut up?

Speaker 2 (33:25):
We can hear your The audio person said, Carlos, can
you stop laughing?

Speaker 4 (33:30):
We could hear you.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
That's how funny it was.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
But for the woman on the receiving end to call
dust afterwards at laugh at being having that exchange, it
goes to show you that, look, yes, be yourself. But
I think Angel has to understand that you leaving these
rooms and the calling Bobby, that's not what's gonna make
you great.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
It reminds me of you know.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
When Tanya from season eight just wasn't present because she
was overthinking, and I love Tanya.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Listen.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Being a reality starts a hard gig it's not easy,
but I feel like, Angel, you have everything it takes
to be a great one, and if you are asked
back for a second season.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
I really do help you. Take a lot of your
industin's advice and it's.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
Like, have fun, Just have fun, and just know that
you are there to be you, and you are there
to defend yourself in the moment and not walk off
from it.

Speaker 5 (34:22):
So she shows moments that she has it in her.
She shows moments of that. But yeah, I think she's too.
Whoever is emotionally involved invested loses the argument. The reason
why I was like that with mine was I didn't
give a fuck. I wasn't a fan of the one.
I wasn't looking anybody like they were larger in life.
I think because she was a fan and really watched
the show from the beginning, she may be a little

(34:44):
bit intimidated, like, well that's Giselle, Well that's Wendy. So
she can't like pop up like she's in her head
too much the.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
End because that ship is not serving her. Wouldn't you
say it's time to pop your head out of your ass,
Angel and get in the paint. It's time to listen
to some and Lamar Yeah, and Trina he played from Trina.

Speaker 4 (35:05):
You know what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
Yeah, I love it. Angel, We love you and we're
rooting for you. Go ahead, Dunsin.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
Sorry, but before we go, because y'all know, I gotta
go Reasonable Doubt on Hulu. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
The sister or the mama did it. Ostly didn't do it.
It was either that sister or his mama that killed
that killed the girl. Wendy on there number two. What
was the other show you brought up? It was Reasonable?
Another show, All Fair.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
All Fair. Love it.

Speaker 3 (35:34):
First of all, I love Ryan Murphy. Shit anyway, anything
NC nash is in. You know I'm watching it.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
That's just cold. We watched NC Nash and it's a
good show.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
Kim Kardashian's acting, of course, I didn't expect to see
her being Viola Davis or Meryl Streek. You know what
I'm saying. But the show is good. It shot beautifully,
it's interesting, it's hilarious, and Sarah Paulson is so they
were hating on.

Speaker 5 (35:59):
The show because they were try to give it like zero.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
I think it's because look, look, no shade and dustink
when you have to.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
Thank you, okay bye?

Speaker 1 (36:11):
So no, so Claudia, the thing is this it it's
what Dustin is saying. Is one of those things where
the wait is on cam because she's number one the
call sheet and look, she's not this Academy War winning
actress and she but she does have going close you
see nast Sarah Paulson. Naomi watched Tianna Taylor around her

(36:33):
and it's campy and it's soapy, so I like it.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
But yeah, they're panning the show in her.

Speaker 5 (36:40):
I like, yeah, it's because they put her front set
and maybe they probably would receive it better if they
didn't put her front and center and probably put forth
on the call sheet, because then they'd be like oh,
and then the fans could be pleasantly surprised like oh,
she's hanging with them instead of.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
Like American Horror Story, Emma Roberts carried the show.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
She was number on the call She came like number
three or you.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
But they raised her acting skills in that show because
she wasn't carrying the show.

Speaker 5 (37:05):
Yeah, yeah, I gotta watch it, check it out. So
you have to come to New York on Friday.

Speaker 7 (37:09):
Maybe Well, look, we'll see what happens, but I'll call you.

Speaker 5 (37:13):
You know what they're gonna say. I'm begging you to
hang out. If you don't, you're not begging me.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
No, send me the details.

Speaker 5 (37:19):
You ain't coming. You got something to do.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
Seriously, a man's voice.

Speaker 5 (37:25):
Goes up like that, he's miney next Monday. We'll let
let you know if we sell y'all.

Speaker 4 (37:34):
To New York.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
I can't wait to gag you. I'm going to see you.

Speaker 5 (37:38):
Oh, I want to be gagged. It's been a long time.

Speaker 7 (37:40):
To on that rag daw.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
I love you, have a great buy and will see
y'all the next one.

Speaker 7 (37:46):
Bye bye.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
