Speaker 1 (00:00):
I think I'm just gonna brand this as a terrible
Person episode on the BTS podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Okay, so is it. It's BTS, but it's just.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
Calm the.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
I want to know how to act.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
I'm gonna play the intro, but I'm gonna beab out
all the bad words in the intro. So just imagine
the intro with a lot of beeps. Okay, I'm gonna
I'm gonna beep. I'm gonna be beep. This whole second
is problematic. You know what, maybe I shouldn't play this intro.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
You have to keep that.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
I think we'll let well, I don't know. We'll see.
I'll see how I.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Can people get a little crazy.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah, so hello, welcome, But first and foremost, go listen
to a terrible.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Person that needs to be established.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
That's just the Top Terrible Person Podcast. It's my wife
and I Selena aka Skittle. I play a character named
Gareth on it. I know this is the j g
r BT S. Yeah so bad.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
I know we need to do something sta.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah, yeah, we need to do something with that. Jenna,
Come on now, quitting guys, quiet, quitters, quitter, I'm getting no.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I walked in, I said, and Grant. Grant left when
I was announcing my big news, and so I didn't
even have him to like, you know, be that that comfort.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah, so you left you, I guess I left at
nine am and you quit it?
Speaker 2 (01:32):
What nine oh one? Nice, dude, No, as soon as
you walked out, I'm like, all right, No, you had
to get because the cats and the maintenance, and there's
a lot going out over.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
There was a lot going There was a lot going on.
That took about two minutes, right right, And then I
proceeded to take some sacred medicine.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Connected and then I had with the universe.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
I had diarrhea. You had THEA got the rina real bad,
real bad.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Rena's kind of been messing you up a little bit hot.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Yeah, it's I'm it's because of the sake medicine.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yep, what I love that for you, though, I do, dude.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
I figured out the trick to the sacred medicine is
if I do it like once once a week, once
every two weeks, that's a small dose once a week.
Maybe if I don't do that big dose every two weeks.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Okay, that's what you feel like your stomach can handle.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Or maybe just a huge dose every.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Day or maybe just never stopped.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
No, it's changed. It changed my whole life, dude.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
I do. I will say, well, there's so much that
I'm going to miss about this job and sitting next
to Grant and Nick and Payton in the back, but
I will really miss hearing about your trips.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Dude.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
I feel like it's been cool to watch you go
through this journey.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
I think, yeah, and I think it's honestly, I I
it started as a lark, just but the first.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Day he came in after you said that you didn't Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
And then the second time I did it, I said,
oh damn, I had some PTSD type of ship that
I deal with work, got to work through some stuff,
and then uh, subsequent experiences I've been just I mean,
I think it's like really helped my overall attitude.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
I mean people say that I think that. I mean,
I thought you were funny and cool before, but I
do feel like there's like a lightness to you.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
I yeah, you know what I mean. I think, thank
you for noticing.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
No, but it's because, dude, it's because I'm speaking of
the spirits, dude.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
You're in connect with them, Biblical.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Ange, dude, biblical angels.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
I've learned. I have learned from your trips, which is
so funny. I've never tripped myself, but I'm like, I
feel like I have.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
I'll tell you what I had. I had such a
beautiful experience the other day. And I say that, and
I know how lame it sounds, and I know I
know this. I know people probably aren't listening to this.
So if you want to hear more about this, uh
in much more graphic, detailed, terrible person, it's probably the spot.
(03:56):
But even even Kitlin's like, some of the shit you're
sayings getting out there because I, dude, I met interdimensional beings.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
No, and I respect that. I do. I'm a spiritual
being and I haven't tapped into that much yet because
I need to figure out my own ship first, right
because I don't. I'm scared.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
I remember do you remember the day I came in
and I was like, I think I made a deal
with the devil.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
Yes, that's what I'm saying. I've seen you live out.
It's honestly like, and I mean this in a respectful way,
but it's like watching a show, dude, It's it's my
favorite show. I come in and either I went to
the park.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Yeah, ude, met.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
With Peter the Trickster.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yeah, the Trickster.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
I had to understand that. I've I've learned this journey
with guys.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Just just so it's not all jargon here. There are
archetypes that you meet when you take the sacred medicines.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
I feel like you need like space music behind you, universe,
coast to coast music.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Coast to coast music. Well we'll get copyright flagged.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Oh sure, then we can't.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
No, but yeah, there's this there's this thing that exists
in your mind, aka the universe, and he's basically deceiving you.
And anytime you have a great idea, you're like, that's
the trickster. Dude. So anyway, enough about this.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
No, I'm loving that. Sorry. I just got a text
from our our big boss.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
You're not recording a podcast and talking about Grant? Are you?
Speaker 2 (05:14):
You better not? Do you think can I still come
in and like record a podcast? Am I allowed in
the building? Do you think?
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Probably not. I'm gonna tell security, I'm gonna give him
a picture of you. I'm going to say, under no circumstances. Wait,
you know it's considered.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
It's just me I'm like the big I'm the smallest threat.
So Grant and I I see, there's so many things
that I'm gonna miss, but Grant I are pretty good
about usually rolling it at the same time, A couple
of minutes late late.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
But you know what's so funny is I am on
time or very early to everything in my life?
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Oh not me, I am.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
It's I am so punctual.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Yeah, I respect. I respect for that.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
Yeah, there's just late.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
I say I'm gonna.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
It's not and it's not I'm doing it on purpose. No,
because ideally I would like to be here exactly when
we need to.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Be the same, and I tell myself every day, but
then my I'm not. I don't want to blame it
on that because it's a personal problem and I don't
want it to come off. Also is that I don't
respect and appreciate people's time, because that's not like I'm
not doing it in a way that I'm doing something better.
I'm doing it in the way that I'm like it's
my adhd. No, but I I'll just lose track of time,
(06:27):
and I have it on my phone like I every
morning I have maps up. I don't same like I
have to do it right when I wake up.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Oh okay, Like I'm weird, So you check traffic conditions.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I'm like on it and it takes me literally fifteen
minutes at most to get here. But like I have
to be I have to be looking.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
You know, my little six thousand dollars car is shaking
on the highway getting there. It's just like, ah, too fast,
slow down.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
No. I always because I come in opposite directions from you. Yeah,
I always look for your car. And that one car
that's been also parking over there tripped up the other
day because I thought it was you, and I was like, damn,
I beat me, And then I saw lights come around
the corner and I rejoiced. There wasn't great crazy.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
It's so weird because I used to be on the
same cycle as Kyle.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Yeah, she improved like I used to.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
It was she'd fly by me on the highway and
then the same way were pulling at the exact same time.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
That's so funny.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
The tortoise and the hair and you know what, we
both arrived at the same time.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
I love that, which was late. You both still were late. Yeah, No,
I love that because I I totally just lost my
true thought. I looked up at the ceiling for a second.
I got scared at what was behind you there, Like
holes in the water, trickster.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
There's a funny story about that. I shouldn't tell you
on the podcast, but I am responsible for those holes
in the wall.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Are you serious?
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (07:52):
Oh my gosh. Wait, so this is like a behind
the behind the scenes this is like hr, okay, we'll
talk about it. I'm so curious. Wait, that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
I don't know if you know this. I'm a bit
of a bad boy right here. I was telling you
the other day. It's so funny because I was thinking
about my career here on the John che and Rich Show.
And when I first started, I was like, yes, yes, sir.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Is that me? Now?
Speaker 1 (08:15):
Uh No, I don't see I still. I was twenty
eight when I started. Oh okay, yeah, so it's one
of those things. I was already like fully formed adult
in work.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Boy.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
I've worked in many a workplaces.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
To have and I that makes sense.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah. And then it's crazy because I was telling you
the other day, I watched horoscopes from last week and
I am basically a caricature of myself at this point.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Dude, and it's awesome. No, no, it's so funny. I
mean people love Grant. No, dude, nobody the people laugh
out loud.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Nobody be liking Grant. Dude.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Yeah, this boy, he's working through some stuff right now.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
Dude, I gotta talk to the demons. Dude. By the way,
I met a demon the other day and I said,
no thanks.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
You said, uh uh yeah, scream.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
There was so there was this. This is the last
thing I'll talk about. I'll sit on the phone.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Are you gonna say that you met a demon? And
then this is it? Because like now I'm bursting.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Shot him away. I don't want to give them the energy. Okay,
what's funny is.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
I'm not a spiritual person, but that's why I like
seeing you on the spiritual journey.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
But it's not to me. It's just like it's not spiritual.
It's more like computer ship because we are we are
in a simulation.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
That's what you're getting spiritual.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Somebody, somebody explained a simulation theory to me that was
so simple that it like made my head hurt because
it's it's like just ineffably, like it's just so simple.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
As to why we're in a simulation.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Yeah, they're like version one time moves incorrectly, so basically
reality the like the two owls later, we're in a simulation. Okay,
so the matrix reach is my dad Morgan God.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
No Martin's wait was it who did Peyton say yesterday
for that game?
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Oh yeah, that's where Ben.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Stiller played God Nevin Almighty.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
No way, God is Morgan Freeman. There's just no other
way around, dude. Yeah, there's so much I'm feeling. I'm
just feeling nostalgic.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
And let's not talk about this ship.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Yeah, you're right, I don't want this is good happy vibes.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Yeah, dude, let's get back into my psychedelic gen.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
No.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
I was gonna tell you is the other day I
was sitting on a bench with the dead guy. The
it was a it was a husband and wife. We
used to go to the park and sit in this
area and they donated a bench and they did it
in memory of this guy.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Let me also just say that when Grant first told
me this story, this is when we were walking door,
probably yesterday, and I was like, wait, you were with
a real couple on the bench, Like fully thought that
you were having this experience with the real life couple,
but it was in fact the ghosts.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
So I'm listening to the most like seriously the most
beautiful like heavy music, and so your main character, yeah,
the main full main character. It was the album Megafauna
by and So I Watch You from Afar.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Oh. He had to show me.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
That on Yeah, dude, it's unbelievable. But the message says
on the little plaque on the bench. I took a
picture of it because yeah, and it said thank you
for all the good times, the smiles, laughter and memories
and loving memory of Peter Salite Siletto.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Oh shit five eight nineteen ninety three to seven nine
twenty two. He's young man.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
That is wait, you should see, like, see this is
me getting spiritual because I like that kind of stuff.
I don't know, maybe you go through some trauma and
then you're suddenly a spiritual bitch. But I would be
like looking up those dates and seeing if somehow those
dates have something like connection to you, Like what if
it's a day, what if they're talking to you? What
if that's like the angel and the demons.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Well that's why I just was like, there's plenty of
other benches, but this one's felt right.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
And that's what I'm saying. So what who's who are
you hurt? If you just look into it a little investigator.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
I sat down on this bench and I was just
you know, just man, it's just it wasn't even like
a crazy experience. I took a very small amount and
just was like, what I'm talking about is legal. By
the way, guys, I just want to make that clear.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
We should have probably put that out there before now.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Yeah. So yeah, the clouds all of a sudden, like
just they started. There was movement, metamorph and then the
sacred geometry came and started overlaying on top of it,
and then that all blended together and became a not
like a realistic it was out of light and out
(12:42):
of clouds and stuff, but it was a deer with
huge antlers around like all this like triangles and shit
in and then it turned into like a cat and
it was just all these things. And then it just
it just became like this thing that I don't even
it was just it was there whatever, whatever it was,
it was a million different things. It was just unbelievable.
(13:04):
And then I was like I just was sitting there
drinking iced tea, like sitting with mice, like literally, park,
I just was sitting there with my legs crossed and
my sunglasses on like a hat with the headphones, just
mine in my own business.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Dude, I wish so bad, and I'm putting this out
there hopefully in twenty years or in ten years, maybe
even sooner. Yeah, a Google one of those Google Maps
cars will be driving around when you're out about on
one of these adventures, my spirit quest, That's what I'm saying.
And you'll be spotted like at a bench, like on
a walk, just like having this. I pray that.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
What's cool is this? I promise we're moving on after this. No,
I'm but what I do is when I go out
of walks, I'll find like rocks that are really like cool,
and then I'll put them. I'll move them to places
I go all the time on the walks. And then
it's because it's you know, two weeks between experiences, you
(14:02):
remember and it's like a message from the past and
you're just like, holy, this is me. Like I took
I took sticks and I made an a for awesome
my dad, and I put it next to this rock
and every day you know, just like you know, everyone swall.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Just walk by it and I'll be like, it's still there.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
That The craziest though, is when you look down and
you like look at all the footprints in the trail,
and then you see your feet, your footprints moving the
opposite direction. That is just like, yeah, you're just like
we're meant to be here here. And then I just
I literally I just hold onto my wedding ring and
I'm like, I love my wife's see, and I'm like
I love that I would do. And it's just you
(14:45):
just feel that way for howeverybody.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
You just feel the love, yeah, and you just feel happiness.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
And god, dude, this is the thing I told Kaitlin.
And I'm probably all edit a lot of this out
the people. Gart No, here's here's the thing though, the
people are. It's so it's so boring when somebody else
is like, oh my god, dude. And I also don't
want to give the impression that I'm like this is
(15:10):
the same type of guy. Yeah, connected, but I'm like, awful, dude,
I'm off a weed, I'm off a caffeine.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Yeah, right here in your purest form.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
I'm just really I'm like taking care of myself better,
and I feel like my brain works better, and I
feel like my attitude is better, and I feel like
I have like a reinvigorated optimism that I haven't had
for a long time.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
And I love that. I'm telling you, I feel like
there's a lightness to you. I mean, I we laugh
all the time and it's always a good time there.
But I do feel like since you've been going on
these journeys, I've enjoyed at least hearing what you're experiencing.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
And I feel like you're I feel like the Dark
Passenger hasn't come out as much Sneaky grand people don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
About sneaky, No, they don't. I barely know about.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
So yeah, Jenna is only seen sneaky. You've only seen
sneaky grant for like maybe like a week. Yeah, where
I just.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Was like, I've gotten positive grant really.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Yeah, I mean for the most part, you got you
did get Dark Passenger grant for a while when just
like probably for a few months.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
Well remember that day, I cried a lot grant every
dimeinggum and now the bat or like and now the room,
I'd still be crying and I'd be like, imagine, like
here's the thingworker No, and it's great. I've needed this.
I this wasn't my choice. Also, I was an only child, right,
(16:40):
so I didn't have like the brother fuck around, you know.
And not saying that that's what this is, but let
me just say being in an office with Nick and
Grant has been awesome. But it'll it'll remind you, it'll
humble you, it'll build you, is what it'll do.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
It's funny because Nick and I actually shared this is
where he sat there. I sat here. Oh really, yeah,
this was our office.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
For like, wait sixeri, this is more space than we.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
No, and they just left us here by ourselves, like
they were like during the show. Dude. There were days
would I'd be like I'd get here and we'd have
the meeting and then I'd see John Jay like leaving
at ten thirty, and I feel like, how is the
show today?
Speaker 2 (17:22):
So okay, just and we can paint the picture. We're
not in the main studio right now. We're in like
a little private studio far off.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Yeah. And this was this was I have no idea.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
Was it somebody coming in, someone was peaking?
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Oh yeah, but this was Nick and I's office, and
it was always this cold.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
It was see that is nice.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
But we I'd come in and I'd shoot the opening
break and maybe one other break early in the show,
and then we would I would just do my work, yeah,
and then be.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Like, all right, well that is just crazy to me.
I mean, I feel like we can be in our
own world over there sometimes just doing our thing the
video department.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Yeah, the video department, like, but also we're very involved
in the show.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
No, exactly, we couldn't. We could not do it over here.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
I mean we could. We'd probably get a hell of
a lot more video, actual video work done because we
wouldn't be doing.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Could you do the cameras from in here?
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Damn, that's crazy. Yeah, it would just be you'd really
have to listen. No, like we'll just switch them to
switch them.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
No, do you know what I do?
Speaker 2 (18:24):
No?
Speaker 1 (18:25):
I like, what do you do? What I like? Especially
if I'm trying to do the switcher in our room
when stuff's going on, like phones, all the crazy shit.
I just watch for whoever's mouth's moving.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Okay, I do too, but I feel like sometimes I
can't read and when there's multiple mouths moving at once,
I feel like I need to hear whose voice to follow?
Speaker 1 (18:43):
Kind of you don't have to so you're leaving. Yeah,
we can leave. You're doing. You talked about your ship.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
They probably don't want to know. I mean maybe they do.
You want to share if I don't know? Is that boring?
Speaker 1 (18:59):
I mean, do you want do you want to? It's
your new job.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
I'll just say, I mean, if you didn'.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
I'm gonna get canceled in like two weeks.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
So I should not associate myself.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
I somehow get you fired immediate, get.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
A season this, yeah, no more. Yeah. So it's sad,
but it's exciting. I'm going to be a social media
coordinator for mister Brian Johnson. And if you follow the show,
you've probably heard ad yep, which song are we singing?
Speaker 1 (19:35):
I was kind of mixing a bunch.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Okay, well let me know.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Oh yeah, you actually like ACDC.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
No, not necessarily a c DC, but like rock, old rock.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Damn dude. You know what. The other day I was
making dinner and Kate had something going on, so she
was like running a little later and the live version
of Thunderstruck from the A C d C Like Live
album came.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Out went pretty hard, dude. Yeah, that's pretty It.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Got me fucking pumped when it's like the drum and
he's like, you been that's just so nasty, dude.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
No, I sometimes those songs you want to talk about
main character now, Yeah, put on an old song and
as cliches, that sounds no, dude, she goes hard.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
Someone who isn't me may have had an experience with
a bop Seeker song that changed his life. Dude. What
that was when I was running through the desert and
sandals listen to the Hollywood Night Oh the.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
One that, Yeah, dude, you on experience? Like with all
they could be music videos, dude.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Dude, if something, yeah, I want to make a music
video of me running having that experience and just capturing it.
And then because I mean, it was to the point
where I was just like because the lyrics in that
song are just beautiful and that it was just like
it was one of those things where I was like,
am I about to fucking kneel down and just be
like I love my why?
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Or start like levitating something supernatural happening.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
Yeah, and just like turn into a spirit and go
visit cage.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Dude, This is a movie. You need to direct this ship.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Yo, dude, my life is a meeting.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
My life is a movie. No, it's I think that
we need to get this ship recorded.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
So you're gonna be a social media coordinator.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
Oh yeah, yeah, soil. I don't know how we got No,
we were rocking out, which is always the rock out.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Yes, so you're doing social media.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
I want to rock right now.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
I want to rock right.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
The most recent okay things again, if you're listening, hopefully
you have ADHD because that's the only way you're following.
But Grant shows me so many videos and I love them.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Well, no, it's like I put I pulled them up
for the room to enjoy, and I turned I have
them up at unreasonable.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
Volume, right, I have nowhere else to look. I'm also intrigued.
Nick doesn't always turn around, but I it's like when
Grant turns on something, it's like a movie, you know.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
I bet I could literally remember like the two weeks
where I just put on a movie with no sound
and I put on it with alpa heat with al
Pacino and whoever else, Robert de Niro, Like there's just
(22:27):
like a full sexy I.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Can't what I was thinking I'm like Grant, like literally,
Grant has three screens pears. Oh my god, that's literally
what I was thinking of. I didn't know what movie,
but I just remember I'm look you over. I'm like, hey, like, whoa,
this is kind of crazy because I wasn't. No, no,
(22:52):
I was, but I was like, whoa, it's nuts. I'm
trying to I'm trying to listen to war.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
Think that was the last time I put on a movie.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Yeah, that did it. We had to go back to
music videos.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Movies got canceled, and.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
Like people would, I'm pretty sure John jay Or is
one of them. Came in the room and like I
saw that we were watching a movie and was like, oh, yeah,
that's what's up. Like could not care that there was
a movie on.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
He was like, are you guys watching? Are you guys
watching Casino?
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Yep?
Speaker 1 (23:20):
Yeah, yeah, man, that's so good. The movie is so good. Yeah.
But the new one.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
Hold on this clip. This clip has changed my life.
I think about it. Nobody understands it, and at first
I didn't appreciate it as much. Now like I think
about this clip way too much and it's so stupid.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
But she got I'm not the bubble by police. I'm
not the prey on police. I'm the police. Do you understand?
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Let me ask you a little bit more about the rock.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
When they were throwing all about rock, I spoke a
little white and a little all the songs.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
Listening to the listening to that back, especially with no video,
they're gonna be like, what the yeah, you can't understand
a word that Little Darrel's just said.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
Yeah, it's Travis Smiley.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
Ricky Smiley. Is that his name?
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Yeah, rick Ricky Smiley And he does his character named
Little Darrel. And there's this video called Little Daryl in
the first forty eight on YouTube and it's amazing. But yeah,
we got bumble Brees. Dude, I want to rot.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
I want to know this character, like I don't know
where it came from. But it also I think Grant
making it his background on.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
All three years also so.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
Funny, like I don't I don't know that Bumblebee just
like hit a hit a board with me that ship.
I think about bumber Bree every day. No man, am
I like, how am I gonna? I can't even exp
playee to my new coworkers. That's sad.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
That's day one of Johnson on Zoom.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
That's the other thing, guys. My new job is all remote.
I mean, I think there will be opportunities for me
to like do some travel, and I'm very excited for remote.
But it's gonna be such a change from sharing the
most chaotic but awesome office with you, Nick and Peyton.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Yeah. I think you just got to find a workspace
that's nice.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
I think so too. No, I've been looking into that
and some of them are expensive, but I'll just have
to I'll pull up somewhere.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
You could probably find the room in an office building.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
Yeah, I hope so I rent here.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
Yeah, dude, not a bad idea.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
They'd let me.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Yeah, probably.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Then they'd be like, I don't know, maybe you know what,
I might just have.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
To do the rents through them.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
It's more than I made.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
Yeah, it's like four thousand dollars a month for Oh.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
No, I actually just stay in my desk. Oh my god,
could you imagine what that? I work a completely different job,
but I'm just like working remote at my desk in
our office, right, Like, you think I could do it?
Do you think they'd let me? No?
Speaker 1 (26:18):
No, they'd be like, when are you going to make videos? Din,
I'm like, uh, cutter airways couple forced to sit with
corpse for hours?
Speaker 2 (26:27):
What the hell was I saw that come up? What
Grant also was the one that told me that early,
and I will like, it's this has made me give
you all the trust. Was when you said, I don't
know when last year or it was before all the
airplane ship really started picking up and you were like,
they're doing this to scare you so you don't.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Yeah, dude, no, it's the build this trust in the airlines.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
And I'm but I'm freaking out because this is from
what I can recall, this has never been so like
every day there's something new.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
You know. The thing is crazy. As you said, that
was a year ago. I've been on this. I've been
on a lot of ship for the past I don't know,
probably five six.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
Years, so they need to be listening to you.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
Well. What sucks is when the stuff I'm saying starts
happening and I'm like, oh damn right, like because I've
been no, you're fine, throw ice cream.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
No I haven't even taken a bite. It was I
it was I don't want to slop in the I'm
gonna do it. It was Rich's beef tricky.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
Oh yeah, no, but yeah, the that that ship with
the airlines now is really scary.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
It's so scary. Even when I flew on a plane
to California this weekend, any little inconvenience, little bump, I
was like, who, like in our landing, we almost like
we came in hot and like the the one side
was up, and I was just thinking, oh my god,
like it's gonna roll over like the one in Canada.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Just did you know? It's funny because I take flights
where we hit really bad turbulence and I'm just my
thought is take me, you know what I mean. No,
please get me the fuck out of here.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
No, no, what you need to meet with your biblical
angel right now and knock that off.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
They told me not to worry, dude, he said, don't
sweat it, dude, not today. No, No, But I there's
and then there's times where I white knuckle flights that
are really smooth, but I'm just nervous.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
No, it's it's true.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
But yeah, I don't know. But I've gotten really comfortable
with like just chilling on an airplane.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
That's good. I feel like I was. I used to
love flying, like I flew to Australia and I was okay.
Like and even when I flew to Japan, I did
that alone and I was okay. I was, but like now,
flying internationally, like on a long flight kind of spooks me.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
I flew to Australia in like two twenty eighteen.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Wait, me too, What if we were on the same flight?
Speaker 1 (28:54):
Probably were what time of year we probably I went December?
We had we had probably different flight experience because I
met two doctors beforehand.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
Okay, because I'm a chatty Wait, I do remember this.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
Yeah, I hooked it up. I had a fully medicated
I slept for twen it was after you got to
experience the fourth quarter on the radio show, and what
a hectic mess it was. Yeah, you know, it's like
that every year. It's just crazy for three months.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
You're just when, would you say, when does that start? October?
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Yeah? Probably? Yeah, Halloween is usually because Halloween, like I'm
doing a lot of production shit. Usually I'm going out
and scaring people that sort of thing, right, And it's
just a lot of a lot of work. That's just
you're tired. You don't get to enjoy the holiday.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
I agree, I do feel like it was fun doing
holiday stuff here, but there was just so much happening
that I felt like it happened so fast.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Well, I make those those edits, those dumb costume edits
where it's like we run down the street and ship
oh yeah yeah, and those are not complicate, Like they're
not complicated, No, but it's like a lot of attention
it takes.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Yeah, that's it's not.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Your and it's always it's always eleven o'clock and it's
wins that video gonna be done, and it's always like
I don't even have an idea for how to put
it together.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
It's hard, and I feel like, do you feel like
you have to make each one at least like equal
or better.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
Yeah, there's definitely some upsmanship from year to year. And
then if we're doing something conceptually very different but still
running down the street, that's helpful. Like we did Secret
Service this.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
Year, which the video you slaid.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
That was that was good at it. But when we
just do like I mean you actually you know what,
it's always been easy to put those together because but
it's just fine in like a hook.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
Oh totally, no, trust me, I get it. You get Yeah,
it's so real. I even feel like for the in
studio videos because I can put them up. But I
always like, like you said, to have a hook or
to have an angle, or to have something that like
is gonna make it more fun and then just whatever,
even though it's great listening to them talk, you can
add something, right, well.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
I used to do those while I was screening phones
and while I was doing the other ship that's crazy,
And I'd make I'd try and make two a day,
and I'd always and I would try and have them done.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
By ten am.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
Yeah wow, so I'd be done. I'd be done with
all the social streaming and all that ship because I
just knew I didn't want I didn't want to go.
I didn't want to spend all day working on it.
I didn't want to take it home. But my thing
was I would always just try and land like land
on a like the Heart Outs punchline hahaha.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Yeah no and I yeah, but like no, I just.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
Think like I think, I think you're your approach to
it's very different where you take Yeah, it's very slow.
So yeah, this couple had to sit next to a corpse.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
How did we get to that?
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (31:57):
Like no, no, no, how did we get to like
where we just were because we were talking about.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
Talking about the airlines and oh.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
That's right, that's right, that's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah that.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Part a couple bound. Oh yeah, this is important because
Caitlin and I just booked our honeymoon.
Speaker 2 (32:12):
Aren't you guys going to Greece or on a cruise?
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (32:15):
We're going, God, dude, or are you doing both of these?
Speaker 1 (32:18):
Yeah, we're doing I don't know if we're hitting Greece,
we're hit We're like going to Spain for a car
and we're going to a lot of places.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
That's so fun, like a lot.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
It's a ten day cruise June. We're going to be
gone over our anniversary and her birthday.
Speaker 2 (32:35):
Hell yeah, oh my god, that is so fun.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
It's going to be I'm really stoked.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Yeah, oh my god, how long are you going for?
Speaker 1 (32:43):
Ten days?
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Perfect?
Speaker 1 (32:46):
So expensive?
Speaker 2 (32:48):
I know I need to get my money up because
same yeah.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
Yeah, my money. I'm putting out of funeral home stories.
I think next week. Yeah, premium only, so pay up, yeah,
charging up or get out also too. I know we're
talking about airliness, but yeah, it's it's so funny because
I occasionally put up funeral home stories. And some of
them are free and some of them are paid. Yeah,
people are like, this isn't the way to build a podcast.
(33:14):
I'll be like, dude, I gave you in twenty yeah,
twenty two episodes for free.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
I built that. Also, I've been building. Yeah, maybe you
haven't been here. I think I think I've been building.
I think I'm I'm going to hit for series total.
I think I'm at like nine and a half million
what like downloads? Are you serious? Dude? That's huge.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
I've made an amount of money that's embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
For nine and a half million, that's but that is huge. Congrats.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
That's a mister b shit right there.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
But no, it's not. But no. I mean the thing is,
I just want a TV show. I just want to
make it a TV show.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
I think something will happen. I think I think you
know what you need to do. Keep connecting with the universe.
Well you on that track.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
The universe keeps telling me it's going to happen.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
It keeps being like.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
So trust be more spiritual.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
I used to say this thing all the time, and
I really took it for granted. Until I thought about
it the other day, and it's the you know there's
bands like Rush right who had some hits but weren't
like mainstream popular forever right, or the band's like I
don't know, Grand Funk Railroads still touring.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
Or not too much on Grand Funk grown.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
Rolling Stones, or And I used to tell people when
I was in college for music, I said, you know,
the music business is about persistence, and it's about just
doing it for a long time. Eventually, eventually things will
circle back to where the Rolling Stones, I mean, Rolling
Stones are classic. They've always been. They're not my cup
of tea, but yeah, like now it's like the offspring
(34:53):
bands like that, where you're just like they just stick
around and they nickelback. They've been around forever. They're popular
because they just have accrued so many fans over such
a shindaut. Yeah, yeah, they've been around. They have thirteen
albums right right. It's just about persistence, and eventually you're
going to hit a cycle. You're gonna do something that
everybody likes or a lot of people like, and then
(35:16):
that's gonna circle back around eventually, and then you're gonna
have the second wave. As long as you stay at it,
you're good, and the universe like solidified that or my
brain or whatever. The simulation was, like it was computing
what you told people back then they really think about it,
and I thought about it.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
No, it is very true, and I think that that
is a very like great lesson to learn from the universe,
to trust in the fact that like, yeah, your hard
work is going to pay off and maybe it's smaller
victories now, but it's going to turn into something much bigger.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
Yeah. I'm ready for the major victories.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
We're so ready.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
Yeah, man, I'm ready.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
I'm like she.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
Kate NIC's podcast is doing really well. Hell yeah, that's
a podcast.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
My I don't have a podcast. Oh yeah I do.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:03):
I was like, wait, I don't. I mean I don't
have a solo podcast.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
The one you threw out that vicious hate speech.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Shut up, we're not gonna talk about that.
Speaker 1 (36:14):
No.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
I if I that was why that was not I
did not hate speech.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
Great, that may have been my fate like noun because
I could have been like probably annoyed. Right, I was.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
Having so much anxiety because I felt like you were
gonna be mad and not but because I truly was like, oh,
I messed up.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
No, dude, you didn't.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
And I was like, wait, is this what's gonna be? Like,
I'm about to leaven, I want to be friends with
Grant and he's gonna hate me for this.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
No, I kind of like honestly, I was like, well,
if it goes well, this won't be a problem. But
if it goes poorly, maybe it'll be just a catalyst.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Yeah, but still, it wasn't my business to be launching
you into a full blown whistleblower, Like I did not
mean to do that, and you were like all aboard, Grant, imman,
first stop the princip.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
Like, I think if I would have heard it, it
would have been different. But the fact that I read it.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
That's so bad. And people probably don't know what we're
talking about, and that's fine, that's fine, but just know
that I would never I made a mistake. And I
accidentally almost hes Yeah, I almost costed me in Grant's friendship.
But I was scared, but because I was like, wait,
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
And then what's so funny is I showed Kate. Yeah,
I was like, and then no, I said, I told
her the story and then showed her the thing and
she was like, that's nothing. She was like, you know,
she was like you know that, like we say a
(38:00):
lot of great much crazy. And I was like, you
know what, You're right, there's about four hundred of those episodes.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
Well you know what, that makes me feel better. But
it wasn't you know, I didn't need to expose your ass.
Speaker 1 (38:14):
Dude. What if you were like, I'm going to work
for Kanye West, Dude, I got it.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
I'm gonna be no way, no yay, no yay, no yay.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
I don't know about it. I don't know about that guy.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
I know it's a note for me, dog.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
I mean, you know the thing that sucks is everybody's like,
oh but they're always like they do this thing where they're.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
Talking about Kanye fan or yeah, Kanye fans, like the
music is so good best, but is it? I know,
you know it's okay, it's good. It is. And he
his old songs like he was doing something for sure,
and like as a rapper, I think that he's awesome
and creative, but old stuff, I'm thinking.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
See, I like college drop out. I'm not even.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
The biggest I mean, I used to love him and
I don't know why, but No Jesus.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
Jesus was when I really that was the album that connected, Yeah,
because I was just like, this is some unhinged.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
I'm here for it. It connected lyrically and musically. It
is unhinted, and that's what I'm saying. Now, maybe that
unhinged has turned into a little more and that's sad
to watch.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
But yeah, and also I just kind of grew out
of liking Kanye's music.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
This is so weird to admit, And I wish my
grandma was here for a million reasons, but this one specifically.
I like when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West got married,
I like was obsessed with him. Not I was like,
what when't they get married? Really?
Speaker 1 (39:43):
Yeah, who knows.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Yeah, sometime in there, I like my grandma had it
like written on a note, like I love Kanye West
from Jenna and she had it like on the fridge
because she was like, that's so weird, Like why do
you think that? Now? I don't know how to defend
myself from that time, and it was like I was
listening to his music, like I just like became obsessed
with him, probably from watching like I don't know, keeping
(40:05):
up with the Kardashian or some dumb shit. I embarrassing.
That's not me, now, I promise. Sorry.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
I mean, if you have the Internet, you could probably
find some interesting theories about Kanye West and the Kardashians.
Well if I mean, if you're listening, if you're listening
at home and you want to fire it up, take
a look to see, you know, just look up Kanye
Kim conspiracies videos. You might you might find some interesting
things videos.
Speaker 2 (40:29):
Oh I know that's not her sect tape it was yeah, yeah,
sorry Raycon.
Speaker 1 (40:33):
Yeah, but no, there's there's some there's some interesting theories
about them. Yeah, interesting see like witchcraft style.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
That's where That's why I'm I'm nervous for my boy
I'm nervous for Timmy.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
Who's Timmy?
Speaker 2 (40:49):
My boyfriend, Timothy Timote? Why, like, did you be honest,
did you see him with a girl like kyliect? But
like is that crazy? Like and now I guess after
seeing stuff, Yeah they're cute whatever, am I bitter? Yeah? Probably?
But I just didn't picture little Timmy.
Speaker 1 (41:09):
I don't like it, right.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
And apparently she's the happiest she's ever been, which I'm like, good, yeah, great,
I would be too, dude.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
If you're happy, if they're happy, great. The thing is
is there's also eight billion people in the world. I know,
but I guess you know. It is one of those
things you meet somebody and they're like, oh I like them,
and oh they're also in a position.
Speaker 2 (41:28):
Right, but it's probably easy to date in that.
Speaker 1 (41:33):
It just sucks that. Sorry.
Speaker 2 (41:38):
No, there's this clip on the internet and it's like
you know those like YouTube like jub things. Yeah, and
this girl's like freaking out and then she just had
a moment exactly what you did where she's like, I'm sorry,
what like totally I'm gonna find it. That's I know
what you're talking about. Yeah, this is down on TikTok,
like what, I'm sorry, And that was immediately what just
(41:59):
happened to It just sucks.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
That you need to know. You can't just people can't
just be in movies and people can't just be in
TV shows and then not you not know everything about
their personal life.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
I just it ruins that we couldn't date them.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
It was like no, I mean it just ruins. It
ruins all the aesthetic of whatever they're a part of.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
Yeah, because you're like, you know, you know everything I do.
Speaker 1 (42:24):
I don't have it so much with Timothy Shalome. But
there are certain actors where I watch a movie and
I just see the actor.
Speaker 2 (42:31):
You said that, and you said you were kind of
afraid that was gonna happen with Timothy.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
Yeah, because I watched he's in Don't Look Up. Did
you ever see that Timothy? Yeah? Oh, the one with
it's Jonah Hill.
Speaker 2 (42:42):
And Jennifer Lawrence.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
Yeah. Yeah, at the end of the world.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
Have you seen him in Beautiful Boy?
Speaker 1 (42:47):
I don't think so, you up, dude. The movie that
really got me on the Timothy Shallomey train is uh
Bones and All.
Speaker 2 (42:56):
Oh yeah, did you see that?
Speaker 1 (42:58):
It is vish gory, but also probably one of the
best coming of age like nice love story, weird love story. Yeah,
And I just thought that was brilliant.
Speaker 2 (43:10):
He's brilliant.
Speaker 1 (43:11):
Yeah and he and I just was like, oh my god,
he's a great actor.
Speaker 2 (43:15):
No, you need to watch Beautiful Boy. That one's really good.
But trigger warning drugs addiction. But he's beautiful and Steve Carell,
isn't it.
Speaker 1 (43:24):
Oh it's interesting. See now, Steve Carell is one of
those guys I know. I'm like, oh, it's Steve Carell.
Speaker 2 (43:29):
Well, and it's hard because he plays a very serious
role which is so weird, like that's not that's not him.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
Did you watch The Patient on Hulu where he was
a psychiatrist and that guy that's in everything was his
patient and any like kidnapped him?
Speaker 2 (43:45):
Who's and everything?
Speaker 1 (43:46):
I can't think? Sure?
Speaker 2 (43:49):
No, he was. That was the boyfriend, the original boyfriend
of Netflix.
Speaker 1 (43:53):
Yeah, the recruit right, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (43:55):
Yeah, he's he's taken some time off, but remember he
was in every like.
Speaker 1 (44:00):
Only I only saw them in the crew?
Speaker 2 (44:02):
Are I fear our Netflix for you? Pages are a
little different? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (44:06):
And what sucks is Netflix is bad now.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
I know it goes through phases, it really does.
Speaker 1 (44:10):
Here's the thing, dude, I live in East Mesa, Arizona.
You don't need to show me the full Korean category.
Speaker 2 (44:18):
What do you mean?
Speaker 1 (44:18):
And the full Indian? You know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
You know, Mesa is like the epicenter for that.
Speaker 1 (44:24):
True. Yeah, we are as a demographic mostly.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
Korean, very diverse.
Speaker 1 (44:30):
East Hindu, Eastern Indian.
Speaker 2 (44:35):
What this is just funny, it's true. So there you go.
So obviously they said I'm the minority, You're the minority.
You need to educate like the stuff.
Speaker 1 (44:46):
It sucks you because I get duped every time by
them because I see something sick and I'm like, I'm
gonna watch this, and then the dubbing is is so bad,
crash so bad?
Speaker 2 (44:55):
Have you seen a No, I don't even know. I'm asking.
Speaker 1 (45:00):
What is that?
Speaker 2 (45:01):
It's like imagine like book talk fantasy meets the like
a dumb wat pad story. If any of those words
made any sense, You like, what fan fiction? Basically?
Speaker 1 (45:14):
Okay? But what is? But it's what's the last thing
you said? Something? Don't what pad? Do you know?
Speaker 2 (45:25):
What what pad is? Oh? My god? What pads where
people would write fan fiction and you could go and
read fan fiction? What pad is like you know, like
what what you would read at thirteen or what I
would read at what someone not in this room would
read at thirteen?
Speaker 1 (45:42):
Un pretend thinking about getting into fan fiction at thirty nine, right.
Speaker 2 (45:46):
Dude, there's no wrong time. I My preferred fan fiction
genre was the Mad Conboys, which you don't know anything about,
which is totally fine.
Speaker 1 (45:56):
As a thirty nine year old, I start writing a
rotic Paul Patrol fan fiction smut. Yeah, just trash.
Speaker 2 (46:04):
Oh my god, there's a market.
Speaker 1 (46:06):
I'm sure, and it's mostly it's not even it's just
mostly like they're like doing elaborate hes right.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
Right, they're like, this is not this is not the smut.
Yeah we can yeah, well we can polish that.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
So what is was the thing you just said that?
I asked me if I watched.
Speaker 2 (46:26):
It's but yeah, it's so stupid. SE's like step siblings
that fall in love. Oh it's you know, dude, it's forbidden. Dude,
it's so forbidden.
Speaker 1 (46:35):
What is with that narrative? I don't know being a thing?
Speaker 2 (46:40):
No, it's that narrative right now. And then the other
narrative is which respect I love meet the older ladies,
but the older like mom type vibe. All these movies
are coming out where it's Nicole Kidman, Anne Hathaway who
can do no wrong. But then they like, are they
meet a freaking sixteen years Nope, they meet they meet
an eighteen year old that coella and then they're like dating, yeah,
(47:02):
or they like work in the office, Like why is
that the genre right now?
Speaker 1 (47:05):
Does Zach Evron Nicole Kidman movie?
Speaker 2 (47:07):
Yes? And didn't she just came out with another one?
I haven't seen it. Yet baby girl or something like that.
Speaker 1 (47:13):
It's just so weird to me. Yeah, like do you
know what I mean? Like, are you watching The Flying
Lotus Season three?
Speaker 2 (47:20):
White Lotus?
Speaker 1 (47:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (47:21):
Yes, and I's wait are.
Speaker 1 (47:23):
You hey, y'all watching Black Lotus? Anybody out you're watching
Black Lotus?
Speaker 2 (47:31):
But anyways, yeah, this week on Black Loaded White Lotus.
Speaker 1 (47:36):
Hey, swing your t shirt around in the air if
you're watching Black Loadus.
Speaker 2 (47:43):
No, it's like that's White Lotus. Uh yeah, take your
shirt off your hand and knock your hand.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
Look what it's Pete Pablo?
Speaker 2 (47:55):
Is that who sings freakleek?
Speaker 1 (47:57):
Uh? I does he?
Speaker 2 (47:59):
I don't know?
Speaker 1 (48:01):
Or it's the or it's the bomba Bomba No, no,
it's the It's a little job version. Let's go.
Speaker 2 (48:15):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (48:17):
Oh I don't have to.
Speaker 2 (48:19):
Wait. I wish we had that. Oh god, bla blackloaders.
That's what I feel like. S n L did a
skit on that one time.
Speaker 1 (48:26):
Oh really Yeah, And so it's fine for us to
talk about.
Speaker 2 (48:29):
It is because we yeah, they definitely did this week
on the Black load.
Speaker 1 (48:33):
But yeah, dude, White Loadus, the White Lotus this week is.
Speaker 2 (48:36):
Not Wait, I forgot that you're watching that.
Speaker 1 (48:39):
I like hate watch it.
Speaker 2 (48:40):
Okay, So maybe then did I ask you about it?
Because I would have told you I wanted to talk
to you about it.
Speaker 1 (48:43):
I didn't talk about it.
Speaker 2 (48:45):
Okay, let's talk.
Speaker 1 (48:45):
About Yeah, HBO Prime go you can watch it.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
Did you watch this past week?
Speaker 1 (48:52):
Yeah, dude, I watched both episodes. Honestly, it was probably
my favorite start to a White Loadus season.
Speaker 2 (48:58):
And tell the people why, I mean, tell them why there.
Speaker 1 (49:02):
Was an incident at the resort. That's all we.
Speaker 2 (49:06):
Is. TikTok wow, this is exciting. Yeah, got it got
grant real looking.
Speaker 1 (49:11):
Forward to it, and I immediately got on the internet
started googling White Lotus false flags d but.
Speaker 2 (49:18):
For real, that shit turns you into a detective. But okay,
so what did you think of What do you think
of the characters? I think the characters this season are
so insufferably good.
Speaker 1 (49:31):
The Walton Goggins character is fatiguing who's that? Oh?
Speaker 2 (49:35):
Is that the girl with the girl with.
Speaker 1 (49:36):
The British girl with the big tea.
Speaker 2 (49:38):
I love her, love her, she can do. She's just
what's her.
Speaker 1 (49:43):
Name, I don't know, but she's great actress and she's
like funny and like she's the only likable person on
the show.
Speaker 2 (49:49):
Right, I'm obsessed with her. Let's see, there was a
scene when the girl, the worker girl Mooke was coming
up to the table and just to wish hi Mook.
Speaker 1 (49:57):
Yeah, it's so cute.
Speaker 2 (49:58):
I love her, okay, sorry.
Speaker 1 (49:59):
And and I didn't like how Mook talked to the
big bodybuilders. I didn't care for her.
Speaker 2 (50:03):
I think Mook sus yeah, and which sucks because she's beautiful.
Speaker 1 (50:07):
She's like she might have something to do with the ultimate.
Speaker 2 (50:10):
I agree, the brothers are freaks.
Speaker 1 (50:14):
I don't like that. And that's what that goes back
to that thing you were talking about about the steps
of here. Yes, it's like, what is that narrative?
Speaker 2 (50:21):
And the girl the sister was just the girl that
played was something. No, she was in cruel intentions as
the sister.
Speaker 1 (50:30):
Oh no, kidding.
Speaker 2 (50:32):
Yeah, so they really got her storyline down.
Speaker 1 (50:34):
I just yeah, I don't it's weird.
Speaker 2 (50:37):
No, it's weird. Also, being an only child, I'm like,
I don't like, do you like is that what?
Speaker 1 (50:41):
And I don't like that family at all. I love
Parker pose.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
And she is so like she's terrible, but she is
like the best character ever. Like the way she's played
is so funny.
Speaker 1 (50:51):
Have you seen like her other movies like the I.
Speaker 2 (50:55):
Don't want to say really old, but what's the one?
The older one? Days? Was she in Days? Confused? She
may have been, And people I saw on TikTok were
like kind of coming for her, saying that her Southern
accent sucks. But I think because she's the pill girl,
because it's like, yeah, like the drama of I feel
(51:15):
like she plays it so well.
Speaker 1 (51:16):
She has like a long drawl ye and it's.
Speaker 2 (51:19):
So entertaining, and like watching her is like what I
imagine truly someone who's taking those drugs, you know what
I mean, Like she kills it.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Yeah, But honestly, I don't remember any of the other characters.
Speaker 2 (51:32):
You know. Then you have the three girlfriends that were
talking mad shit about each other. No, they're gonna be
so toxic.
Speaker 1 (51:39):
And that's the thing is I literally told Caitlin in
episode like minute whatever of episode one, when they first
shut up, I go, that girl hates that girl, and
then that and then they're terrible.
Speaker 2 (51:50):
I hate them.
Speaker 1 (51:51):
But also the scene where it's like I'm gonna go,
I'm gonna I'm gonna go ew and then he just
like leaves the door open. Yeah, and then the just
like staying no.
Speaker 2 (52:01):
The brother is figuring out shit and he needs to
figure it out in private because he's weird.
Speaker 1 (52:06):
Every character is just exhausting. Like I The one thing
I told John Jay about I was it's amazing because
that show can slow down time for me.
Speaker 2 (52:16):
Yeah, you did say that.
Speaker 1 (52:17):
We watched a forty two minute episode and it felt.
Speaker 2 (52:19):
Like seeah half, I'm like I need more. I'm like
I need It's not never enough for me.
Speaker 1 (52:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (52:25):
Oh and oh oh, we didn't talk about Greg and
Belinda noticing Greg.
Speaker 1 (52:32):
Who's Greg?
Speaker 2 (52:33):
Greg is the the I don't know if I can
say that Greg is the guy from season one who
then sets up Uncle Rico?
Speaker 1 (52:44):
Right?
Speaker 2 (52:45):
Is that I don't know guy? Yeah? Greg?
Speaker 1 (52:48):
Yeah, Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite.
Speaker 2 (52:51):
Oh yeah, I thought I thought that you meant yeah,
But you know his significance being in season three, right
did Jennifer?
Speaker 1 (53:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (53:01):
Because of him, I forgot because he was working with
the gays.
Speaker 1 (53:07):
Remember they were on a boat.
Speaker 2 (53:08):
They're trying to murder me.
Speaker 1 (53:10):
Yeah, these gays.
Speaker 2 (53:12):
They're trying to murder me. Can you do a Jennifer Coolidge? No, Okay,
Well anyways, So, but I loved her. I miss her.
I really do miss her. She was so fun to watch.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
I think I have just hit a point where if
I see Jennifer Coolidge in something just like it's no
like I used to really like her, but it's just
the same thing over these games. Do you know what
I'm saying?
Speaker 2 (53:38):
Though, yes, I know I do, But I maybe because I.
Speaker 1 (53:41):
Somebody writes a character and they're like, oh, this is
a Jennifer Coolidge character.
Speaker 2 (53:45):
I've only seen her truly in Legally Blonde and then
White Lotus, so I haven't gotten enough of her.
Speaker 1 (53:53):
And she was Stifler's mom in American Pie.
Speaker 2 (53:55):
Yes, my mom did tell me that.
Speaker 1 (53:57):
And she was not really in full she was kind
of there. I don't know. I mean, it's she's made
a lot of money. She's a great actress. She does.
She was great in White Lotus. But I just miss
I see her and I'm just like, nah, man doesn't
do it.
Speaker 2 (54:12):
Well, that's okay, but she Yeah, so she died. Spoil
spoiler alert if you haven't watched season two.
Speaker 1 (54:20):
I don't know, dude, I don't want that. I don't
think I liked that show.
Speaker 2 (54:24):
No, it's the best, dude.
Speaker 1 (54:26):
No.
Speaker 2 (54:27):
I saw an interview about and mister Beast was talking
about that. He was talking about Yeah, he was breaking
it down.
Speaker 1 (54:34):
He's doing press.
Speaker 2 (54:36):
Did they wish?
Speaker 1 (54:38):
No.
Speaker 2 (54:38):
He was talking about Beast Games and how he lost
so much money from it. Okay, I'm no, I'm I'm
not saying it in a poor guy way. I was
just here's the thing saying I thought he would have
eventually like it would have been a gain because it
was a kid.
Speaker 1 (54:55):
Well, but here's the thing. So he gave away all
that money, right.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
Yeah, like he said also to like build the cities
and stuff. That's what was kind of Well.
Speaker 1 (55:03):
He also probably has an LLC or a big business
and they're going to write all that expense. Ah. So
it's like, yeah, you lost money, but it's for your business,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (55:16):
No, that's valid. I don't know shit about that. I
just saw him on an interview being like, yeah, I
lost and it was not a good financial investment. I
was like, oh, I thought it would have been.
Speaker 1 (55:23):
Well, I mean, especially consider it like he he has
like he's been building compounds to do his videos for years. Yeah,
he yeah, missed his property he's got acres and acres
of it. I can't remember where it is.
Speaker 2 (55:35):
Were they filmed. Yeah, some of it was in Canada.
Speaker 1 (55:39):
Okay, I think, yeah, that show, that show ruled it
was really I actually was terribly disappointed with who won.
Speaker 2 (55:46):
Who'd you want to win? Eight thirty?
Speaker 1 (55:48):
Dude? Honestly any way, wait.
Speaker 2 (55:50):
Who won? Eight thirty one?
Speaker 1 (55:52):
One?
Speaker 2 (55:52):
Eight thirty didn't win?
Speaker 1 (55:53):
I told Caitlin when they got down till ten, I said,
I really don't want a thirty to win. Uh huh
the wrestler, and I don't want Jeff or whoever?
Speaker 2 (56:06):
No, eight thirty was Jeff I think?
Speaker 1 (56:07):
Okay, the whoever the female wrestler was who was always.
Speaker 2 (56:11):
Making Yeah, yeah, that's thirty one. She was always making
like face, No, sorry, that's eight thirty.
Speaker 1 (56:16):
Yeah, eight thirty.
Speaker 2 (56:17):
God, yes she's eight thirty. He was eight thirty one.
Speaker 1 (56:20):
I just I don't know. But then again, like also
from an editor's perspective, if you watch the show and
you see who got FaceTime from episode one, mm hmmm,
you know you know you're like, well, they're not going
to invest they have a thousand people on this show.
They're not going to take a thirty second SoundBite from
somebody who doesn't make it to at least episode four
or five. So you can watch the first few episodes
(56:43):
and see who they keep highlighting.
Speaker 2 (56:45):
That'd be interesting to watch back. I do feel like
eight thirty one show she was eight thirty was in
everything from the start, and.
Speaker 1 (56:52):
So was the guy y An episode one, being he
was the first guy they showed talking to the camera
like he was a YouTuber. Interesting, and I liked him,
but I just I really, truthfully, when it got down
to like the final four, I thought I would have
been sick.
Speaker 2 (57:07):
If that uh, the one who they tried to get out.
Speaker 1 (57:10):
The Latina, yeah, because she would have won twenty million
dollars and be like, okay, thanks, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (57:16):
Literally, you mean the one that like literally when they
were throwing the ball one everyone was ganging up on her.
Speaker 1 (57:21):
Yeah, and then she eliminated the guard.
Speaker 2 (57:24):
Yes, which honestly was like period. And also everyone literally
the eight thirty one from the other side of the
freaking court was throwing her ball and yeah, like come.
Speaker 1 (57:33):
On, I remember they they said, they were like, all right,
you get to drop her since you eliminated her, huh,
And then they would be like do you want to
say a few words when that girl, the nice girl
started talking, Well, first, I just want to say I
wouldn't drop her like immediately.
Speaker 2 (57:46):
Dude, Oh my god, I would have too. She was
too nice.
Speaker 1 (57:54):
I didn't there was something about her uncanny I didn't like.
Speaker 2 (57:57):
All right, Oh you mean the nice girl?
Speaker 1 (57:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (57:59):
Oh yeah, So we gelt to talk about the schemes.
Speaker 1 (58:01):
We've done an hour, have we really? Yeah? We could
probably wrap it up. We should probably do maybe one
more of these before you leave. Yeah, if you if
you have time, yeah, tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
Yeah, let's do another one.
Speaker 1 (58:12):
Okay, all right, well everybody, uh, as told in the beginning,
go listen.
Speaker 2 (58:18):
To Terrible First and Podcasteah, you better.
Speaker 1 (58:20):
And follow Jenna on social media. What's your social media?
Speaker 2 (58:23):
It's gonna be Jenna Lee d l T j E
n n A l e E d l T. Yeah,
fall along because I'll miss you. Guys. Sorry, that probably
made it worse, but just look me up.
Speaker 1 (58:37):
I have no idea what you listen to. You say that,
I have no idea.
Speaker 2 (58:41):
No I made it. I don't know if I was
speaking English right there.
Speaker 1 (58:44):
You were speaking the sacred language I was.
Speaker 2 (58:46):
I was speaking with the universe.
Speaker 1 (58:49):
BA all right everybody, Well, see when this next episode drops.
Bye bye,
