We are in beautiful Davenport, Iowa.
Speaker 1 (00:10):

the first in the nation and it gets the but anyway,
I hope you'll tune in it. That is all happening tonight. Tickets,

Tickets again, are free. We don't charge. We just give
out free footballs. That's what we do at the Hannity Shows.
A lot happening in Washington, d C. That should scare
the living but Jesus out of everybody, it really should,
you know.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Christopher Ray testified.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
I'm going to play him in a second and play
in exchange that he had in particular with with Ted
Cruz and and with Lindsey Graham about the threat level
that has gone up in this country and how dramatically
higher that it has gone up in this country, because
it should scare every American and it shouldn't be in America.
(01:15):
This should not be happening in America. There are ways
to protect us. But when the FBI director says that
the terror threats elevated to an all time high and
that he sees blinking lights everywhere, and among the statements
that he make is you know he's out there. Say
what I would say is that is unique about the
(01:36):
environment that we're in right now in my career is that, Well,
there have been many times over the years where individual
threats could have been higher here there where we may
be right now, I've never seen a time where all
the threats, or so many of the threats are all elevated,
all at exactly the same time. So blinking red Light's
(01:59):
analogy of nine to eleven. All the lights were blinking
red before nine to eleven, and Lindsey Graham continued, obviously
all of us missed it. Would you say there are
multiple blinking red lights out there? Well, his answer is
I see blinking red lights everywhere. Well, you know, pause
for a second. Then why has he been taking limited
(02:20):
FBI resources and allocating them to go after tiger moms
like Linda that show up at school board meetings that
are upset about the age appropriate material being taught their kids,
maybe about gender identity or CRT or whatever it happens
to be. That would be a local policing issue. And
if you've got blinking red lights everywhere, maybe that's where
(02:42):
your priorities ought to be. Maybe before elections, you shouldn't
be sending agents to meet weekly with big tech companies
and indoctrinate them into a system of belief that they're
going to be victims of a misinformation campaign that maybe
about Joe and Hunter Biden, knowing damn well that Hunter
Biden's laptop was real number one and number two that
(03:04):
it was likely going to be released because you knew
that Rudy Giuliani had a copy of it. Maybe they
shouldn't participate in those political activities. Maybe they shouldn't be
going after traditional Catholics or people that are peacefully protesting
that happen to be pro life. Then he later tells
Graham that since October seventh, what happened in Israel when
(03:24):
Hamas brutally murdered all these Israelis and took all these
hundreds hostage. The threat level has gone to a whole
new level. But he's not just talking just about that.
He's talking about at our nation's borders. I want to
go through some of this with you because this ought
to scare every single American because this is this is real.
(03:46):
This is a real threat to our homeland. You know,
I've been saying something I don't want to say on
this show, and every time I say it, I say,
I pray to God that I'm wrong. But I'm pretty
much one hundred percent certain now that with eight million
plus Joe Biden the illegal immigrants in this country, because
of his unwillingness to enforce the laws of the land
(04:09):
and uphold his oath to our constitution. You don't get
to pick and choose what laws you want to enforce
and what laws you're not going to enforce. But because
he has allowed all of these unvetted people into this country,
it is now created what is nothing short of a
clear and present danger to the entire country. Pick something
(04:31):
up here, I'm picking something. I had a piece of
paper on the floor. For example. We have caught at
the border not talking about people that the godaways as
we call them. Why did America catch six hundred and
fifty nine Iranians at our border? Iran, last time I checked,
is the number one state sponsor of terror? What are
(04:52):
they doing at our southern border? How is it that
six three hundred and eighty six Afghans have been caught
at our border? Isn't that the same country where al
Qaida operated and was that war with us? Why are
three thousand, one hundred and fifty three Egyptians at our
southern border? Isn't that the home of the Muslim brotherhood?
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Why are five hundred and thirty eight Syrians caught there?
You think they're friends of America the country? Do you
think they needed to be vetted before we ever would
let them in the country? Thet A wopping twelve thousand,
six hundred and five Russians, A wopping twenty six thousand,
one hundred and thirteen Chinese. Now I didn't make up
(05:35):
these statistics. Those statistics come from the Customs and Border Protection.
That's data that they have that they released. Willie Foxnews
dot Com broke that story. I mean, how is that
even possible? So I'm watching Director Ray you know now,
saying I see blinking lights.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Everywhere I turned.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Well, if the if the FBI director sees it, why
is an? He told the American people sooner than now.
October seventh was quite a long period of time ago,
but he was seeing it Beforehandy indicated now anyway, he
testified to Lindsay Graham about this level going up to
another level since October seventh, also told Lindsey Graham about
(06:16):
multiple plots that Iran has attempted against the US.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
It's cut fourteen. Let's listen to this.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
What is Iran trying to do to America?
Speaker 4 (06:25):
So Iran, which is of course the world's biggest state
sponsor of terrorism. Let's start there. Iran. Just in the
last couple of years, if you want to bring it
home here to the homeland. In the last couple of years,
Iran has tried to assassinate a former US National security
advisor on US soil, has tried to kidnap and then
(06:47):
try to kill a journalist American journalist and human rights
activist right smack in the middle of New York City.
Has conducted a cyber attack on a children's hospital in
New England. And for extra credit, as Director Ratcliffe and
I announced in the fall of twenty twenty, tried to
interfere in the last presidential election.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Okay, with all of that, now ask yourself a question.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Why has he been taking limited FBI resources during the
period of time he's describing and assign special agents to
meet with big tech companies to what ended up being
a full on FBI center of the Hunter Biden laptop story.
(07:33):
Why is he involving the FBI if it's not needed.
We do have local law enforcement. Why is he involving
the FBI and school board meetings? For crying out loud,
Why because Tiger mom Tiger Dad got all worked up
at a school board meeting. I think the local sharer
for the local police department could probably handle that, you know.
Why then are they going after traditional Catholics. We had
(07:56):
a story with Jim Jordan about this last night on Hannity.
Why why aren't they focused like a laser bead when
he's talking about all of these attempts by Iran over
just the last couple of years to kill, kidnap cyber
attacks that they're involved in. Then he testified that he's
concerned that international terrorism threats to the homeland are rising
(08:19):
as the border continues to be broken.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Now, since Joe Biden's been president.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
We now have over eight million illegal, unvetted Biden illegal
immigrants in this country, and many from the countries I
mentioned Iran, Syria, Egypt, Afghanistan, China, and Russia. Now explained
to me why that has not been you know, brought
forth in previous hearings loudly and clearly and telling the
(08:47):
country that we need to secure our borders. Why has
he Why has he waited this long and allowed eight
million illegal immigrants into the country before he decides to
tell us listen.
Speaker 5 (08:59):
Are you are you concerned that international terrorsm You said,
we found enough fentanyl to kill eighty percent of American
people and that's just in the last two years.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Okay, do you think we missed some fentanyl? Absolutely? Okay.
What role does China play in the fentanyl problems America has?
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Well, I'd start with China supplies most of the precursors
to the cartels in Mexico, which none leads to the
fennyel that comes here, and that's been talked about a
fair amount, and it's a huge problem. But in addition
to that, China is also responsible for an awful lot
of the pill presses, manufacturing of the pill presses, which
(09:42):
of course are also used.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
And in addition to.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
That, a lot of people don't know this, but China
is also responsible for an awful lot of the precursors
for the meth that's manufactured south of the border as well.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Do you see that getting better?
Speaker 6 (09:57):
I do not.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
Are you concerned that international terrorism threats to the homeland
arising as the border continues to be broken.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
I am concerned that we are an elevated threat environment,
a heightened threat environment from foreign terrorist organizations for a
whole host of reasons, and obviously their ability to exploit
any port of entry, including our southwest border, is a
source of concern. You know, there's a lot of discussion
about numbers, and numbers are important, but let's not and
(10:30):
we have seen an increase in ks so called ksts,
known resuspected terrorists attempting to cross you know, over the
last five years.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Did I mention rating Mari Lago?
Speaker 1 (10:42):
I'm sure that was right at the top of the list,
But not rating Joe's garage with his beautiful Corvette, or
going into the UPenn Biden Center, or going to the
University of Delaware or going to Joe's beautiful beach house.
Then I'm sure that he bought on a senator's salary,
because you know, he's just so wise with investing of
his money. And it just got worse from here, and
(11:04):
it just makes you wonder. Now, Ted Cruz, I mean,
was pretty brutal here and said, Ray doesn't question if
the FBI tried, you know, the assertion that Hunter Biden's
location when THEOS WhatsApp message was said.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Why not?
Speaker 1 (11:21):
This is an important question. I am sitting here with
my father. We are wondering why you did not fulfill
the commitment. And between everybody, he knows my ability to
hold their grudge. You will regret not following through. Five
days later, five million dollars shows up in a in
a bank account of Hunter.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Listen to Ted Cruz.
Speaker 7 (11:38):
An IRS whistleblower, Gary Shapley, testified before the House of
Representatives that the natural step he wanted to follow was
to determine whether Joe Biden was in fact sitting next
to his father when this threat was made to extort
millions of dollars from a Chinese communist. And what the
IRS whistleblower testified is that when he tried to find
(12:01):
out whether Joe Biden was sitting next to Hunter that
the DOJ blocked getting the GPS data on Joe Biden's phone.
Did the FBI try to ascertain where Hunter Biden was
and where Joe Biden was when this text was sent?
Speaker 4 (12:16):
Well, I think the questions you're asking go to the
ongoing investigation being led by a special counsel wise, and
so I'm not going to be able to discuss what
is or is in scope.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Yeah, let me give you a short answer for her.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
I'm not answering that question because everybody was involved in
this cover up as it relates to all things the
Biden family syndicate, and this is the whole reason for
Jim Jordan's investigation on the House Judiciary Committee. Has the
FBI of Joe Biden? Have they been politicized? Have they
been weaponized? Has the DOJ been politicized? Has it been weaponized?
(12:55):
And the bigger question is do we have a dual
system of justice or is lady justice blind? Do we
have equal justice under the law? Do we have equal
application under our laws?
Speaker 8 (13:06):
Well?
Speaker 1 (13:06):
The answers obviously no, And you can look at the
rate at Mara Lago and compare it to Hillary Clinton's
laptop and thirty three thousand deleted subpoena emails, you know,
bleach bit and hammers and devices and simcards, and of
course the dirty Russian disinformation dossier that is predecessor. You know,
no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute speech or Joe Biden's you know,
(13:30):
top secret classified documents. Can you imagine if the Trump
family had tens, you know, dozens of Shell corporations, ten
family members paid the head of the company, admittedly no
experience and energy, oil, gas, oil Ukraine or China, making
millions and millions of dollars in energy and oil and
(13:51):
gas and coal. Yeah, I don't think anybody would believe it,
and I will tell you the whole nation would be
talking about it. By the way, the whole nation eventually
will be talking about it because the evidence vil will
overwhelming in my opinion.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
All Right, we continue.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
We're in Tavenport, Iowa for our town hall tonight with
Donald Trump, nine Eastern Tonight, say a DVR Hannity, Fox
News Channel.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
I hope you'll join us for that.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
I want to do a deeper dive into the hearings
with Christopher Ray and more of the exchange with Ted Cruz,
some of the exchange with Senator Josh Hawley, and one
with our friend Senator Kennedy. Also later I want to
discuss it was pretty unbelievable because three big schools, including Hovard,
(14:41):
had to go before at least the Phonics Committee and
literally at least the Phonic just grilled the Havevid president
and man, it was interesting.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
We'll play that when we come back.
Speaker 9 (14:58):
Stay in Dutch with Hannity.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Faithful join the message board at Hannity dot com. All right,
twenty five to the top of the hour. Thank you
for being one of those we are and beautiful Davenport, Iowa,
our town hall tonight, nine Eastern Hannity on Fox News.
One thing I'll say every time I've been to Iowa,
the people are the nicest people. They just they just
(15:21):
I mean, just hard working salt of the earth. It's
not politicians. You got to remember this.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Most people.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
You don't think, oh, it's not politicians that make America great.
It's the American people that make America great. The people
that you know, get up, work really really hard, that
are really tired at the end of the day. You know,
Obey the laws, pay their taxes, raise their kids. You know,
the people that you know work their fourteen sixteen hours
(15:50):
a day. They pack their kids lunch, they take their
kids to activities, they find time to do homework with
their kids. They take their kids to church on Sunday,
out there to eat Sunday afternoon football Sunday Saturday and Sunday,
and then you know, back to the grind on Monday,
which happens to be well, you know a little bit
about what life's about. I mean, for many it's you know,
(16:12):
I've no people that have retired and they're thinking, oh,
I'm going to retire and I'm going to love my life.
Three weeks in, they're like ready to jump off a
ledge because they don't have anything to do. They've had
enough golf balls to last ten lifetimes, like I'm done
with this. And then other friends of mine that retire
and they're like, it's the greatest thing ever travel in
the world. They're they're playing golf. I have one friend
(16:33):
in particular that loves to tell me every day what
he does, loves to send me a picture of the
big fishy caught. Loves to send me, you know, a
picture of him dropping a Birdie loves to send me
a picture of someplace in Italy or Paris or wherever
else he might be traveling. I'm like, okay, I hate
you right back every time the same thing. I hate
(16:53):
you because they're being so mean. Anyway, I love the
people in Iowa. Thank you all for coming tonight. Tickets,
by the way, free, and tonight on Tuesday night, I'm sorry,
Wednesday night and Thursday night, we will have live audience
shows in New York City. If you'd like to join us,
those tickets are free and you just sign up on
Hannity dot com. Look a reminder most people don't know
(17:16):
the biggest equity for most people is their home right.
They don't know there's an invisible gap in their home protection.
And look, that means your equity in your home is
at risk. It's called house stealing. You may not know it,
but cyber criminals all around the world are targeting US homeowners.
From FBI crime stories and I quote con artists, these
cyber thieves, they pick a house. It can be a
(17:38):
vacation home or rental property, or maybe a home that
you're living in right now. And what they do is
they transfer the deed of your house, which is online
into their name. They do it by obtaining the forms.
They use fake IDs. They file the paperwork with proper authorities,
then guess what they own your home. Once that step
is complete, then they're taking out loans using your home
(18:00):
collateral or even selling your home from underneath you. Now
you can protect your home from this in invisible gap.
And right now, our friends at home title lock dot
com will verify that your home is in your name.
Go to their website, home title lock dot com and
use the promo coach Sean S.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
E A N.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
And they will send you a complete title scan of
your homes title. By the way, they'll also give you
the thirty the first thirty days of triple lock title
protection for free. Just go to home title lock dot com.
Do it today, because you don't want that nightmare becoming
your nightmare. All right, before you get back to the
FBI director in his testimony, I got a lot more
(18:39):
ground to cover there. I want to get to these
university presidents that testify today. He had the presidents of
Havid Havid University. I showed up at Harvard once somebody
I knew was graduating from Harvard somebody close to me,
and I was asked to go. And actually it wasn't Harvard,
(19:00):
it was Yale. Sorry, what do I know? I don't
know anything about these schools. And by the way I
went to the I went to the house under an
Ivy League university and they rented a local home. It
literally had rats in it. It was to disgust. It
looked like animal house. It was so disgusting. You know,
remember that movie John Belushi. If you haven't seen it,
you gotta watch it. It was so bad. It was
(19:22):
so disgusting. And anyway, you know Ivy League kids, they're geniuses.
They have no problem getting along with the little critters
in life and loving all of God's creatures. I love
all of God's creatures to a point when it comes
to mice and rats and hamsters and squirrels, forget it.
I want no part of it, none at all. And bugs,
(19:45):
you know what. Bugs don't bother me unless they're in
my house, and I want to kill them, every one
of them.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
That's what exterminators are for.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Anyway, So you have the president of Havard University, a
woman by the name of Claudine Gay, and then you
had the president of the MIT and the University of Pennsylvania,
and they were called to meet on Capitol Hill and
frankly called on the map after weeks of a backlash
(20:13):
over their school's responses to surging anti Semitism. By the way,
a story out today that should make everybody sick to
their stomach is Columbia University students have announced an event
celebrating the hamas October seventh attack. Can you think about this,
you know, for like, eighty what does it cost eighty
grand one hundred grand a year to send you your
(20:34):
little son or daughter or as O'Reilly calls his own children,
urchins to college that you know, they could be enjoying
the finest anti Semitic indoctrination anywhere else in the Western world. Anyway,
Washington Free Beacon had this story. A student group at
Columbia University in New York is hosting an event on
the significance of October the seventh Palestinian counter offensive.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
That's what they're called.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Call it the latest example of college students now endorsing, oh,
let's see murder of what fourteen hundred innocent Israeli citizens
and a surprise sneak attack including raping innocent girls and women,
including kidnapping and murdering innocent babies, beheading people. You got
(21:22):
to be going to celebrate this group. We will discuss
the significance of this counter eventsive and the centrality of
revolutionary violence to anti imperialism. Columbia Social Workers for Palestine
advertising on Elon Musk what formerly used to be called
Twitter now called x. Let's see they have engaged in
(21:45):
nonviolent resistance tactics for years.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
No, they haven't.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
They've been firing brockets forever into Israel.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
I know.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
I actually was there when they were being fired. I
saw them myself being fired right out of Gaza. You
see Gaza with the naked eye when you're in a
border town. I was there, I saw it. I was
in the terror tunnels as well. Anyway, the student group
describes itself as a collective students of Columbia's School of
Social Work. Why are these students even on campus now?
(22:15):
Think about the woke world in which we live in.
Think of what happens in the stories we have told
you about in the last two years, couple of years,
about you know, kids that are in school, If God forbid,
they use the wrong pronoun and what the reaction of
the administration is, Well, what if somebody made a homophobic
slur or racist slur or you know, if there were
(22:39):
islamophobic what would the consequences for these students being We
all know the answer to it anyway, so at least dephonic.
This is her grilling Havid President Claudine Gay over the
pro Palestinian protest rhetoric on her campus.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
Listen, let me ask you this.
Speaker 8 (22:57):
You are president of Harvard, so I assume you're familar
with the term into fada. Correct.
Speaker 6 (23:02):
I've heard that term, yes.
Speaker 8 (23:04):
And you understand that the use of the term into
fada in the context of the Israeli Arab conflict is
indeed a call for violent arm resistance against the state
of Israel, including violence against civilians and the genocide of Jews.
Are you aware of that.
Speaker 6 (23:18):
That type of hateful speech is personally abhorrent to me?
Speaker 8 (23:22):
And there have been multiple marches at Harvard with students chanting,
quote there is only one solution into fada, revolution and
quote globalize the Intifada.
Speaker 6 (23:31):
Is that correct? I've heard that thoughtless, reckless and hateful
language on our campus.
Speaker 8 (23:39):
Yes, So, based upon your testimony, you understand that this
call for intefada is to commit genocide against the Jewish
people in Israel and globally.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Correct.
Speaker 6 (23:49):
I will say again that type of hateful speech is
personally abhorrent to me.
Speaker 8 (23:56):
Do you believe that type of hateful speech is contrary
to Harvard's code of conduct?
Speaker 6 (24:01):
Or is it allowed at Harvard? It is at odds
with the values of Harvard.
Speaker 8 (24:07):
Can you not say that it is against the code
of conduct at Harvard?
Speaker 6 (24:11):
We embrace a commitment to free expression, even of views
that are objectionable, offensive, hateful. It's when that speech crosses
into conduct that violates our policies against bullying.
Speaker 8 (24:26):
Does that speech not cost that barrier? Does that speech
not call for the genocide of Jews and the elimination
of Israel? When you testify that you understand that is
the definition of intofada? Is that speech according to the
code of conduct or not.
Speaker 6 (24:42):
We embrace a commitment to free expression and give a
wide berth to free expression, even of views that are objectionable.
Speaker 8 (24:50):
You and I both know that's not the case.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
Wow, now here, listen to this. This is at least
the phonic now calling for the resid nation of Harvard.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
President Claudine Gay right to our face.
Speaker 8 (25:04):
What action has been taken against students who are harassing
and calling for the genocide of Jews on Harvard's campus.
Speaker 6 (25:13):
I can assure you we have robust what.
Speaker 8 (25:16):
Actions have been taken? I'm not asking, I'm asking what
actions have been taken against those students.
Speaker 6 (25:23):
Given students' rights to privacy and our obligations under FURPA,
I will not say more about any specific cases other
than to reiterate that processes are ongoing.
Speaker 8 (25:36):
Do you know what the number one hate crime in
America is?
Speaker 6 (25:40):
I know that over the last couple of months there
has been an alarming rise of anti Semitism, which I
understand is the critical topic that we are here to discuss.
Speaker 8 (25:51):
That's correct, it is anti Jewish hate crimes, and Harvard
ranks the lowest when it comes to protecting Jewish students.
This is why I've called for your resignation and your
testimony today. Not being able to answer with moral clarity
speaks volumes I yield back.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
Wow, pretty unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Now, I know parents in years gone by have always
wanted their kids, Oh, I want them to go to
an Ivy League university.
Speaker 9 (26:20):
No.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
My answer to that is no thank you. I think
we'll pass on that, all right.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
Let me get back to Chris Ray, because when the
FBI director says that there are blinking lights everywhere in
terms of a terror threat in the environment we're all
living in right now, and that it's been going on
for some time, and then you think of what the
FBI has been involved in, it doesn't really make a
whole lot of sense, you know, describing multiple plots as
(26:46):
he did that Iran is attempted against the US. You know,
you have the first question you have to ask is
why hasn't he done anything? You know, if he's out
there saying what I would say is the unique what's
unique about the environment we're in right now in my
career is that while there may have been times over
(27:07):
the years where individual threats could have been higher here
or there than where we are right now, I've never
seen a time where all the threats are or so
many of the threats are all elevated, all at exactly
the same time. And this is where Lindsey Graham brought
up the issue of blinking red lights. You know, like
(27:28):
nine to eleven, all the lights were blinking red before
nine to eleven racist. I see blinking red lights everywhere.
The threat level has gone to a whole other level
since October seventh. He was saying it was even before
that happened, you know, and during his testimony, you know,
it just doesn't make any sense at all.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
What has he done about it?
Speaker 1 (27:50):
And why is he taking limited resources in the period
of time that came up today and allocating that time,
you know, of the time of limited agent. I mean,
they only have limited resources at any law enforcement agency.
And why are they investigating parents at school board meetings?
Why are they investigating you know, pro life people that
(28:12):
are protesting peacefully.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Why are they.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
Investigating, you know, things that they have no business investigating,
you know, for example, traditional Catholics. Yeah, those nuns really
scare the hell out of me. You know, those priests
really scare the hell out of me. The choir director
that they interviewed really scare the hell out of me,
unless there's some specific threat.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
Now.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Ted Cruz continued with his questioning, and by the way,
on the issue of targeting Catholics as extremists, Josh Howley
really went at them. Listen, but I can tell you
that we don't investigate people for their exercise, and they're
constantly protected customership, protected religious expression. That particular intelligence product
is something. As soon as I saw it, I was aghast.
(28:55):
I had it withdrawn. Well you were a gas I was,
oh really, and what have you done about it? Did
you fire the people who wrote it? No?
Speaker 9 (29:01):
I had Have you fired anybody involved in it? Senator?
Speaker 2 (29:05):
If you will give me a chance, thence.
Speaker 9 (29:06):
That's a yes or no.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
It's not hard.
Speaker 9 (29:08):
Have you fired anyone involved in the writing of that
outrageous memo about which, frankly, you've repeatedly misled the public?
Yes or no?
Speaker 4 (29:15):
The individuals involved you fired in just a minute were
not found to have engaged in any intentional or bad
faith conduct. And in fact, in fact, Senator, a number
of the individuals involved a number of the individuals involved
in writing that product in the Richmond office were themselves Catholics.
Speaker 9 (29:36):
So the notion, Oh I see.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
They were targeting their own faith. Oh so there's a
not out of jail free card. I see, I see.
Speaker 9 (29:43):
So you're not in bar immune, so we shouldn't ask
questions about it. You haven't done a darn thing. You
haven't fired anybody.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
Wow, pretty powerful moment, now, I played earlier, Ted Cruz
asking Ray, you know, radoesn't question if the I tried
to ascertain about Hunter's laptop, and then he rips Ray
for just not answering questions about the Hunter investigation. Here
is why this is important is if you look at
(30:12):
the timeline, is that they had the FBI had Hunter's
laptop in December of twenty nineteen. They verified its authenticity
in March of twenty twenty. They then in the summer,
in the months leading up to the twenty twenty election,
(30:32):
the FBI had a number of special agents in light
of all these threats that he's now saying, blinking red
lights everywhere, you know, waste their time meeting with big
tech companies, warning them specifically because they've testified to this
that in fact they may be victims of a misinformation
campaign and it may be about Joe or Hunter Biden.
(30:54):
That what's so interesting about that part is Okay, if
that's true, I don't really have time to sell. I'll
sum it up for you. But he Ted Cruz just
rips him apart. You know, Ray didn't answer the question
if the FBI tried to ascertain whether Joe and Hunter's
location you know was with the WhatsApp message. Why did
(31:17):
they go after these big tech companies. Why when Facebook
and Twitter at the time asked whether the laptop story
was true, Why did the FBI that knew it wasn't true,
that was warning them they may be victims of disinformation.
Why didn't they answer the question and tell them, yeah,
it is true, they verified it right. Want to come
