Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, welcome back.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Look at that it's time to play the Mega match game,
which means we need to call it twenty five right
now at six one seven nine three one one eight.
We had another winner yesterday. We've had more reveals. I mean,
it's a great time to win a big prize. Lisa,
what are some of the big prizes still up on
the boarder?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
There are so many amazing big prizes like the thousand
dollars visa gift card movies for a year from Showcase,
the Flyaway with Gracie Abrams. You see her here and
then you go to La and see her. These are
huge prizes. The Encore Experience resortat Casino.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
I feel like people are sleeping on the Showcase Cinemas
prize a huge you can go every week for an
entire year. Every movie that comes out you can go see.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Yeah, and a lot of big movies you're coming at theater.
Even the the BTS documentary is going to be coming
at theaters July thirtieth. That's going to be a big one.
Billy Joel documentary probably hit theaters first. So yeah, the
movie passes for a year is big.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Plus all the biggest concerts too and Boone Dualipa.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Yeah, that tour sold out in nine seconds.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Yeah, imagine that though for Benson Boone and that it's
not like his show in Boston sold out in non
sen the National tour.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
It's incredible sold out and you could be there.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah. All you have to do is play the game.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
But when you play the Mega Match Game, we beg
that you really do your homework. You keep notes, you
remember the things that were unveiled and what number they
were unveiled behind.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Exactly, so when you're collar twenty five, you're ready to go.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
And don't forget we added wild spots too. Oh right,
we haven't talked a lot about the wild spots. Yeah,
so there's there's some wild spots. If you get a
wild one that that matches with any any prize, the
very next prize you pick, yeah, is the prize you win? Yeah,
or if you pick a prize and then a wild spot,
they match well either way. So that's that's pretty cool,
all right. Yeah a lot of people were asking why

(01:54):
it's called the Mega Match Game this time instead of
the Match Game. Well, it's because we added about twenty more, bigger, better. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
The board of prizes, which is right next to Lisa
here in the studio, is double the size of our
previous match games.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Yeah. Well it's the best summer ever. That's what we're doing,
all driven by Jeep. Thank you very much. That's right.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Oh, we got to call her twenty five. Let's go
to Shannon, who is in Wittonsville. Shannon, where on earth
is Wittonsville.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
It's near Worcester.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
It's in north Bridge, Western mass Yeah, everything is near Worcester.
So when you tell people where you live, do you
feel the need to say, but we're on the border
of Worcester or something like that.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
Yeah, no one, No one knows where this is.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
No one, no one. Okay.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
But the good news is your caller twenty five and
you get to play the game.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
So justin let's play.

Speaker 6 (02:50):
It's time to play just one away.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
All right, let's play the match game. What's going to
be your first pick?

Speaker 7 (03:06):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (03:07):
It's a good number.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
I like that for a year of free movie All right, Wow,
that was a big reveal.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
All right, what's yours is a year of free movies
at Showcase?

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Oh okay, okay, number.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
Two okay a j R.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
At the Infinity Center.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
So it's not a match, but there are two more
reveals made thanks to you, So thank you for playing,
Thank you for calling in. And by the way, yes
you can play the game again. It's the Mega Match game,
so make sure you're paying attention.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Keep listening.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Okay, Well, she sounded very sad. Yeah, we're sorry, Shannon.
You can still play though.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Yeah. Well, the contest this big in prizes, this big.
How can you not have big expectations.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
You know what I mean? Yeah? How funny is that
that we just were talking about the free movies for
a year for the showcase. It's so weird it just
got unveiled. Wow, that's crazy. All right, Well, twelve ten,
we'll do it again with McCabe kiss.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Okay, so we did not have a winner in the
Mega Match game a few minutes ago, but the Mighty
McCabe will have another shot at twelve ten, and then
the v Bros with Gianna later today.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Three ten? Is it winning?

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Three ten this afternoon? Another shot? Still, some huge prizes,
and the good news is a couple of unveils a
couple of minutes ago on the show, so that makes
it easier for other people to play. So we're coming
up on fourth of July. I know that I always
celebrate Fourth of July, and I know I'm planning on
celebrating Fourth of July as well.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
YouTube Lisa Oh, absolutely very patriotic. I can't wait. I'll
be down in South Carolina. I'll have my flag sweater on.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Sure justin you're going to be celebrating with the Chicken family. Yeah,
of course. Are you a fan of Fourth of July? Sure?
I love Fourth of July. It's something changed I didn't.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Why do you have evidence that suggests I don't. My
stupid Fourth of July, by the way, is a holiday.
I've never been crazy about DRIs. Just everybody gorging themselves
out in the hospital.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
What's you with?

Speaker 8 (05:13):
Like?

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Do you want to redo?

Speaker 9 (05:16):
There?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
You want to? I want to redo. I plan on celebrating.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
All in now on the court, all.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
In on the fourth. There's dogs. I'm gonna have everything.

Speaker 7 (05:26):
I will.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
I will be celebrating. Why what's going on?

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Well, apparently at least a third of Americans this year
don't plan on celebrating.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Which is surprising.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
They pulled a thousand people and thirty three percent say
they will not celebrate at all. They don't feel patriotic,
they feel disconnected. A couple of them say they just
don't like the holiday, and twenty one percent say they
never celebrate it.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
That's unfortunate those people you're talking about right there. You
never want to invite them to a cookout.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
July fourth is just one of those days that like
there's no like, you know, religious affiliation.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
It's just like a.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Nice spot America, right, It's like a nice day to
come together.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Not going to be celebrating Fourth of July. I have
no plans, yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
Right, But it's not that you're not celebrating.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
You're celebrating, but I'm not not celebrating.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
You're not not celebrating. You just don't have plans yet, right.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Are you going to watch fireworks? Are you going to
cook out? Nothing?

Speaker 10 (06:27):
I mean I live in an apartment, so I can't
cook out, and.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
You're one of the third of Americans.

Speaker 10 (06:34):
My dad's a big griller, so I'm sure. But the
thing is, my niece is born July third, so normally
that weekend is her birthday, like you know, that day
you're celebrating, But her birthday party is this Sunday, So
next fourth or Friday, I'm wide open.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Yeah, I got nothing.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
You won't watch the fireworks?

Speaker 5 (06:52):
Maybe, but yeah, sure, I like.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Why don't we just not have any holidays?

Speaker 5 (06:57):
No, it's just I don't. Maybe I have a home home,
I would plan to have people over and.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Hey, yeah, we're like, so I'm doing a fun I'm
doing a five k race.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
That morning.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
You're celebrating America. I'll be in Old Orchard Beach celebrating
America's birthdays. So let me get this straight. You people
live here in America and they're not going to celebrate
America's birthday. There are people hate America.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
Fortunate America doesn't celebrate my birthdays.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Now you're comparing your birthday to America's birthday.

Speaker 5 (07:29):
I mean next year will be cool to fifty, right,
is it next year to fifty?

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Oh yeah, all right? Yeah, why they cancel Boston College
One of the reasons, Listen, politics aside is still the
greatest country in the world.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
Yeah, it's not a political thing for me.

Speaker 7 (07:43):
I just.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
I don't like parades. Okay, who doesn't like I hate parades.

Speaker 10 (07:50):
Fireworks I could do with that, but they look okay everything.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
We're decorating the golf.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Cart, I decorate the boat.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
Yeah, there's like a.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
Big parade and they get prizes. And we did a
fun run and then we.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Watched the fireworks and we have like the flag cake.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
But you're gonna like soil the flag and everything.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
No, I don't.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Soiler.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
I don't want a flag, so I can't soil. I
don't own a flag.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Can somebody invite Winnie told the July event? Please, somebody?

Speaker 5 (08:23):
I like the hot dog.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
You love hot dogs.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
I love hot dogs.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Okay, that's you know we have to do just to
piss her off.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Okay, when we come in on July third, right, that's
our last day before the holiday. Right, we'll decorate the
studio and have a barbecue in the studio.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
It doesn't don't go my way to make plans.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
I'm gonna wear an Uncle Sam suit, like with a
big hat, big long white beard.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
Yeah right now.

Speaker 10 (08:53):
Give me a flag, you remember it of the United
States of America, and uh allegiance to the flag in
the United States of America. And oh what republic for
which it stands? One nation under God with celebrity.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
All you got it indivisible. You're the most divisive person
I've ever met.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
Good, come on, thank you, Happy independent stay, God, bless
you go.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
I'm gonna go have a hot dog. Hot dog? Come on,
nothing better, God, everything gets ruined. You're gonna be celebrating
the fourth No? Oh, okay, all right? Is that is
that in protest? I think so?

Speaker 5 (09:41):
Nos, no plan.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
She doesn't like hot dogs.

Speaker 10 (09:45):
I love hot dogs, but I don't need a holiday
for a hot dog.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
I'll have one right now.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Okay, if you're sitting here, you need to love hot dogs.

Speaker 8 (09:54):
I do love.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
You're gonna have hot dogs here on the third. Okay,
having dogs. That sounds good.

Speaker 7 (10:00):
We're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
I kiss want to lead now the entertainment update with
a Billy Copstad.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
And before we get into entertainment, we do want to
do a shout out for Alisa's son, Max Dunovan, who,
by the way, is going to be moving on to
Brown University in the fall, but he's got a summer job.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
He starts today right as he's working at the snack
bar down on the Cape at the CBA, the Craigville
Beach Association.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
There he'll be on the fryolator.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Oh yeah, taking the orders. Yeah, good for him. Yeah,
justin you did that I did. I worked at Friendlies
for many years. I was on the fryolatory. I cooked
a good big beef too.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Oh there, I think he'll probably do that too.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Yeah, it's going to be hot at the fry lator today.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
Boy, he has an hour worth of training. He's going
in early.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
Yeah, get those orders Max this afternoon.

Speaker 6 (10:49):
I want to sing in tuny fish cash row, no
pickle on the plate, well done, frenchy frive with melk
and Swiss cheese and gravy on their own plate and
strawberry chocolate oasious pie.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Boy, a piece of.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Dog forces ice cream down there. Than that, I wonder
if they're gonna make him wear a paper hat.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
So if you're headed down to Craigsville Beach, you're gonna
hit the snack barler from Max down to it.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
And say hello, I'm a good tip too. Yeah, and
they probably.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
All get out of work and then they hit the
beach and a bonfire and everything, and then all the
madness begins.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Yeah, it's good. It's a good summer. Summer twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Baby Celt's gonna be looking very different next season. They
traded Drew Holliday the other days the Trailblazers. Yesterday they
traded Porzingis to the Hawks, So Drew Holliday gone, Porzingi's gone.
Jason Tatum expected to miss most, if not all, of
next season with the achilles injury. The good news, I guess,

(11:46):
is the NBA Draft kicks off tonight, so maybe we'll
get lucky there. Cooper Flag probably gonna go first, right, absolutely, Yep, boy,
he's a good ball. Yeah he's from me, right, Yeah,
he's from me.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
Yeah, And shout out to George Niang from the Hawks.
He's coming to Boston doing that's good. He's coming home. Well,
bad news for him.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
He's gonna have to get tickets for the whole family
and the whole neighborhood every time. Yeah, Socks lost of
the Angels in ten yesterday. They'll play at four o'clock
this afternoon. And there is a rumor this morning Tom
Brady may go to the Jeff Bezos of Lauren Sanchez
wedding in Venice this weekend.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
It's a hot rumor.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Jmz Right reported it.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Yep, he's on the list.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
He's neighbors with Bezos in Miami, Indian Creek, so it
makes sense.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
And you had a breaking story out of Venice this morning,
least something about a clipboard.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Oh so this woman who's part of like the advanced
team like event planning, she had the clipboard of all
of the names of all of the guests, and instead
of holding it to her, she she like flipped it.
So the photographers now have all the names all of
the guests. I can't scre I can't like scroll in.

(12:56):
But she's in big trouble.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Oh yeah, it's a flagrant violation of a private wedding,
especially for base on. The guys hired US Marines for security,
private security, and she's standing there with a clipboards shown
to the world.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Okay, where you working in the morning.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Aaron Rodgers on the Pat McAfee show yesterday says his
upcoming one season with the Steelers will be his goodbye
to football.

Speaker 11 (13:23):
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is it. You know, that's
why we just did a one year deal. Steelers didn't
need to, you know, put in the extra years on
that or anything. So you know, this was really about
finishing with love and fun and peace for the career
that I've had. I've played twenty freaking year. Yeah, like
it's been a long run. I've enjoyed it, and what
better place to finish than in one of the cornerstone

(13:45):
franchises of the.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
NFL Absolute legend meantime. For decades, the best porn name
in sports was football legend Dick Buckets, right, Dick Buckus. Well,
there's a new best name in sports this morning. The
Mets just signed pitcher Dicky love Lady, and it goes
by the name Dickie, and we just thought it was interesting.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Hold on to your hats, Mets fans. Meat Dicky love
Lady a twenty nine year old picture. The name of
the new player, Dicky love Lady, the greatest name in sports.
Dicky love Lady is a met. It's a man paypey.
It's a man pay peye. It's a man paypee.

Speaker 4 (14:22):
Billy loves the Dickie.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Okay, we'll just move on.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance in Nashville. She jumped
on stage with Caine Brown, who was announced as the
final act of a showcase of singers. Kane Brown did
his songs Miles on It and Like I Love Country Music,
and then out came Taylor for Shake It Off.

Speaker 12 (14:47):
Could be sure so so I was like, but I
don't have a guitar, and then Chase Rise was like,
you can use sign.

Speaker 9 (15:01):
We would like to dedicate this to our favorite players
who are going to play. These are the tight Ends.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
That's pretty cool stuff right there.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Very cool.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
So it was a small one thousand person venue. It
was a benefit for tight End University. These are charities
chosen by NFL tight Ends like Travis Kelcey, George Kittle,
Greg Olsen. There are some cool pictures of Travis and
Taylor and Kane Brown and cool event.

Speaker 8 (15:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
The girl that posted that video on TikTok spent fifty
bucks for that ticket. Wow, and she got a Taylor
show imagine. And it was probably planned right, I mean.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
It seems like it because the band knew the music.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
And knew Travis was going to be going for the event.
It's his event event.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
There's a new feature think the documentary showcasing BTS and
their huge fan base. It's going to hit theaters July thirtieth.
Are they all out of the military now? I thought
I saw a story yesterday that another one of the
guys from BTS was released from the military mandatory military.

Speaker 5 (16:15):
Gray one left and I'm not sure. There's seven of
them that went in.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
And they'll probably hit the road immediately, right, I mean
June twenty first was the last release. Yeah, four days ago.
Yeah wow.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
And that two part Billy Joel documentary hits HBO and
HBO Max in July. Part one July eighteenth, Part two
July twenty fifth. And there's an Olivia Newton John documentary
on the way to Netflix. There's no date on that yet.
And Offset was in the audience for a Magic show.
He was asked to write down his celebrity crush in here.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
I just feel like, like artistically, like she got it altogether.
So I wrote this earlier.

Speaker 12 (17:00):
Look at Yeah, you didn't tell anybody, right, this is There's.

Speaker 6 (17:06):
No way I never said Brenda Carney.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
So Brina Carpenter's is a celebrity crush. So is he
totally cut now from McCarty?

Speaker 7 (17:18):
B off?

Speaker 5 (17:18):
She's eeeting stuff on digs, that's right.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
A Patriot, Yeah, so Cardi b could be coming to
the Patriots games. Oh, she will be.

Speaker 4 (17:25):
They've been all over together. He's really cute, he is.

Speaker 5 (17:32):
He's the ladies man.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
I think seems like he certainly is.

Speaker 5 (17:36):
Ladies like him.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
Brandy and Monica are going out on tour together twenty
four cities. Kelly Rowland is going to join the tour,
as is American Idol winner Jamal Roberts.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Uh, they don't have a Boston date. What's up with that?

Speaker 10 (17:51):
Well, we're not really known for like embracing R and
B as much as other markets. You go, where you go,
where you're gonna make money, right, Is that true?

Speaker 7 (17:58):
Though?

Speaker 1 (17:58):
I mean we do have R and B. Yeah, but no,
we do.

Speaker 10 (18:02):
But like I feel like a lot of times when
if you look, I'm a big R and B lover
when you look at the tour dates for a lot
of not like Chris Brown's or like that type of
you know, like really up there, they don't.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
They don't come here. They go to New York, Brooklyn, DC, Atlanta.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Maybe La, Yeah they might.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
It's the Boy's mine too. I love that Brandy do
a lot of TV and movies.

Speaker 10 (18:26):
Yeah, Oh my god, she's Cinderella on ABC with Whitney Houston.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
Like, whoa that movie?

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Would you? Goldberg was in that movie.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
He's very talented.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
There's a rumor jay Z may do the Super Bowl
halftime show, which would be kind of strange because it'd
be hiring himself. He's in charge of the entertainment, the
halftime entertainment right for the NFL.

Speaker 5 (18:46):
He is, he's like the music director.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
He's stepping up.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
But you know, if he does the halftime show, he's
going to bring a lot of people up in the
stage with it.

Speaker 4 (18:54):
Could be really I like this room.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Actually, yeah, I like it too.

Speaker 5 (18:58):
Does he bring out Beyonce though?

Speaker 1 (19:00):
Yes, didn't you just bring him out?

Speaker 8 (19:01):
Well?

Speaker 5 (19:01):
Yeah, yeah, bring him out? Bring him out.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
Yeah, let's go see what I did there.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Please don't play when he's wrap audition that you played
earlier that was upsetting.

Speaker 10 (19:16):
Bring them out, bring them Okay, we got to talk
about the Diddy trial because it's coming to an end.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Both the prosecution and the defense have rested. Closing arguments
are going to happen. The jury will have this case
by the end of this week, and Justin and I
are starting to think, did he might go free?

Speaker 4 (19:41):
There's a possibility.

Speaker 8 (19:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
They just dropped three of the major charges kidnapping, sex, trafficking,
and are they dropped them? Drop them? The Feds?

Speaker 5 (19:49):
Have you ever heard them dropping something mid trial?

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Well, because they have such a high conviction rate, you know,
so they're not they're not going to move forward with
a charge unless they know it's going to be a guilty,
so that.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
He's the only one left is the sex trafficking across
state lines.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Yeah, which does carry jail time, But how.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Long has he been in jail already? Maybe it'll be
as time serve thing it could be, but.

Speaker 5 (20:12):
Yeah, it shouldn't be more than a year for sex trafficking.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
What does he do if he gets out?

Speaker 2 (20:16):
Exactly, there's nothing left. Nobody's gonna hire him, nobody's gonna
sponsor him. Yeah, they all have the vodka.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
Yeah, they did prove that he's just an absolute freak,
that's for sure. Oh my god, this guy had a
sex drive like no one's ever seen.

Speaker 10 (20:30):
They also prove that he's a monster and he does
not treat women right like.

Speaker 5 (20:34):
They prove that too.

Speaker 6 (20:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:36):

Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
We're back with Villi and Lisa in the morning on
Kiss one Wait.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
Hey, guys, welcome back. So earlier in the show we
came up with the topic.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
There was a story, Lisa that you had that a
lot of Americans will not celebrate Fourth of July this year.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
Yeah, it's like thirty percent of Americans. They pulled one
thousand people. Thirty three percent said they don't celebrate at all.
They're skipping it because they don't feel patriotic, they feel disconnected.
A lot of them just say they don't celebrate it.
Twenty one percent and they've never celebrated it.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Which got us to thinking about Fourth of July because
I know typically you're in South Carolina, big Fourth.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Of July celebration.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
Yeah, that is like very patriotic.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Mareson, You're going to celebrate in a big way. I'll
be at Oldoche Beach. What's different from me and my family.
My wife's birthday is July second, Okay, so it's a
always a big celebration that we put it, you know,
the fourth and short fun. You know, it's a reason
to get together and have fun. It's it's it's it
is like, nothing serious about.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
Our friend's relatives, hang out, watch the fireworks.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
So it got me to thinking about one particular Fourth
of July celebration with the family. My boys were very young,
and we were celebrating at Danversport Yacht Club because at
the time I was talking at Danversport Yacht Club and
you know, you have a big cookout on the docks
and everybody gathers and the fireworks and everything else, and

(22:32):
then it's time to leave. And to leave we had
two cars for some reason. So upon leaving, my kid's mom, Lisa,
had a car in front of me, and the boys
were in her car, and so I'm right behind her.

(22:53):
Now to get back home, we had to leave Danversport
and get back on one twenty eight Route one twenty eight.
So we're on the ramp leading onto one twenty eight
and she goes and you know, and I'm thinking she's
taken off, but without me knowing she had slammed on

(23:13):
the brakes because apparently somebody was coming in the right
hand lane. I, when I tell you, full speed, rammed
the back of her car.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
Like I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
The car had to be towed right, because I stoved
in the back end of the suv. And I'll never forget.
You have to imagine all three of my boys young
at the time, are sitting across the back seat right.
Luckily the smash in didn't affect the back seat, but
all I could see, and all I can remember to

(23:47):
this day is the look on their faces when they
turned around to see what on earth happened. And I'm
sitting and the car behind literally attached now to their
car right, and they're like, Mom, isn't that Dad?

Speaker 1 (24:13):
So now what were you just not paying attention?

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Well, no, what happened was I you know, you're getting
on the highway right, so you're focused on what's coming up.
And I saw her go, so to me that signal go,
So I'm still looking this way, and I went and
she had stopped and just rammed her many.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Times I've almost done that. That's such a like a comment.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
Well, I mean the rear windows smashed right, so I
can see clear into her can see clear.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
So lucky that no one got hurt.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
Oh, extremely lucky, especially because they were in the back seat.

Speaker 5 (24:48):
Yay, did she call your insurance?

Speaker 13 (24:50):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (24:51):
No?

Speaker 2 (24:51):
Oh the best part I almost left out. The cops
had to come because again I'm attached to the rear
end of her car. So the cops and they're starting
to look at the paperwork, right, and he turns to
me and says, excuse.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Me, this is your family. Shameful. Yeah, it could have
been my most embarrassing moment ever. Yeah, what'd your ex say?
I got an accidents?

Speaker 2 (25:24):
You know, now that I think of it, that may
have been the start of her backer sir.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
Oh yeah, the Cairo practice.

Speaker 10 (25:31):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, the Cairo practice.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Oh my god? Is that dad?

Speaker 8 (25:38):
Mom?

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Yeah? Yeah, we got to ask the boys next time.

Speaker 4 (25:42):
They're in memories.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:45):
I don't know how you forget that one.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
Yeah, oh man, you were mind.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
I never really live it down. The time you hit me, dad,
and the time you smash your card to me. That's
I know.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
I don't think I've ever asked them. I'm probably horrified
to ask them, I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
Well, how old are you think oh god, I would
think four six and eight maybe, and I think Chris
at one point.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Yeah, Mom, it's your dad. Yeah. I have a memory
of when I was a kid, my mom driving with
her and a guy cut us off, and she, you know,
she was a new mom. She got very nervous, very scared,
very protective, and the guy cut us off and almost
hit us, and she went up alongside of him, get
out of the car and started smashing on his windshield
like yelling at Oh my god. Yeah, it's the craziest

(26:31):
thing ever. Yeah. So, by the way, happy fourth of July.
Happy fourth of July. Not doing well Man and Lisa
on the Morning Austin Talk Back left over. Yeah, it's
gonna be another hot one today, not as hot as yesterday.
Reached one hundred and two degrees, but it'll be the
nineties today, last day of the heat waves.

Speaker 7 (26:54):
Good morning, morning crew. I went for a run early
this morning, still a thousand degrees. I'm an avid runner,
just ran my tenth in April. But these are the
days I say I hate running and I don't know
how to but come April, you bet I'm running the marathon.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
Lacy, you love running in this year?

Speaker 4 (27:18):
Oh God. Yeah, I'll be out today.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
How many miles I do?

Speaker 4 (27:21):
Like, you know, three or four? It's fine baging them out, Yeah,
it's fine. I like the sweat.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
God's it was so hot yesterday. Producer Riley went to
the Hosier Show at Fenway. Oh yeah, she was telling
Billionaire this morning she has never sweat so much in
her life.

Speaker 5 (27:35):
I can't imagine.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
Yeah, just pouring sweats. She said, it was rolling down
her legs.

Speaker 5 (27:40):
I actually think this morning was more stafely than yesterday.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
It's very humid today.

Speaker 10 (27:44):
It was not that human Yesterday she was like, I
couldn't breathe when I came out of my house at
four thirty this.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
Morning, I know, and in this early too. It's the
hottest that's ever been in June. Yes, yesterday was just crazy.

Speaker 5 (27:57):
Global warming it is, yeah, definitely part of it.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
Oh, I didn't know you were a climate expert. Well,
thank you when you have stuff for backing up, thank
you for sharing winning all right, Well, happy fourth of July.

Speaker 13 (28:07):
Good morning, it's Devin from Danvers. I love that we're
already talking about the fourth of July even though it's
two weeks away. But honestly, with the heat lately, it's
basically summer. We're in summer, we're in fourth of July. Mode.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
I get it.

Speaker 13 (28:21):
It's been been fun, But I wanted to talk about
the July second fireworks from Boston Harbor. I'm sure you
guys have heard about it. Billy, you're in Charlestown on
the boat, so I'm sure you have a nice view.
Me and my friends watch it every year from east
and I think people should know about it.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
So yeah, yeah, keep that in mind. July second, big
fireworks right over Boston Harbor.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Oh I should go. That's my wife's birthday. Oh yeah, yeah.
Why don't you come down? Where to the boat? Oh no,
we got plans. Oh you just said you had no plans.

Speaker 5 (28:54):
I don't I'll come.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
Oh god, see what you got me in tom Sorry? Yeah, no,
I know, I'll figure it out. Maybe we'll come by.

Speaker 5 (29:01):
It's a Wednesday night. You won't come down on Wednesday night?

Speaker 8 (29:04):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (29:04):
Yeah? Are we working Thursday? Yeah? I'm not coming. I can't. Okay,
why did you start that? I thought I thought we
were off the next day. Him, So now I got
to deal with this one.

Speaker 5 (29:13):
I'm coming.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Now you're stuck with Winny.

Speaker 10 (29:14):
Yeah, I'll be there, baby, And he can't say that
he didn't invite anybody because he invited you.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
So now I'm sorry, Bill, I'm sorry. Are you around
in the second, Blase?

Speaker 4 (29:24):
We can come? Oh yeah, we don't head out until
after the show and.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
The third Okay, then there it is.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
I've never seen those fireworks on the second.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Oh good job, right in the middle of the harbor.

Speaker 5 (29:35):
Will we take the boat out?

Speaker 1 (29:37):
No, that a real question.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
They take the boat out into the harbor and see this.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
Yeah, when you want to get your boat burned from
the firework embers that happened last week?

Speaker 1 (29:48):
It does really a lot of boats damaged by embers. Yeah, yeah,
is that why you don't take the boat out with
the fireworks?

Speaker 7 (29:55):
Are?

Speaker 8 (29:55):
What?

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Do you want me to go right underneath the firework?

Speaker 8 (29:57):
Now?

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Isn't this fun? Now have third degree burns? Yeah? Happy for.

Speaker 8 (30:05):
God?

Speaker 2 (30:05):
What strong with you people? Why did you even bring
it up? Justin you know you're never leaving New Hampshire.
Do they have fireworks in New Hampshire? They do go
to New Hampshire to buy her fireworks.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
Actually, now that I think about it, there are fireworks
at Tuscan Village on July second. That's right, I got
the email. Oh you did. Yeah, Tuscan Village lighting it up. Baby,
they do a great job there.

Speaker 8 (30:30):
I know.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
I'm sorry, Billy what I'm sorry. I'm sorry I got you.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
Into the situation canceled?

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Oh god, this one. I've done everything I can to
avoid her. I'm sorry. Maybe I'll make an exception. I'm
happy for Oh God.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
Kids in the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa
in Morning.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
So off the air, we were just talking about the
Mega Match game board and how giant it is and
full of prizes. Yep, new prizes got revealed this morning.
We did not have a winner, Shannon. She gave it
the best shot, so she revealed the prizes, but she
didn't get a match. All right, let's play the match game.
What's going to be your first pick?

Speaker 8 (31:19):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (31:20):
What's a good number?

Speaker 8 (31:20):
I like that.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
You're a free movie.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
All right?

Speaker 4 (31:24):
Wow, that was a big reveal, the number A Jr.
At the Cinity Center.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
Yeah, no match there, but a couple of new prizes revealed.
So hopefully you were taking notes. I did peep out
the numbers because we don't play them back, right, got
to keep it, got to keep it. You know, guessing
people guessing every day they learn more about what's on
the board. Yeah, so twelve ten will be your next
shot to play the Mega match game with McCabe. Good luck.
Also this morning for topic time, we had a DM

(31:57):
that we got from a listener with who had a
crazy job interview.

Speaker 8 (32:00):
You.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
I don't even know what the hell this was. It
was like a four hour interview to be a server.
That was wild. But that was our topic time, Crazy
job Interviews.

Speaker 14 (32:07):
Megan and Nanny here. I recently had a phone interview
with some parents and the grandmother of the children snatched
the phone out of the parents' hands and demanded to
know what religion I am. I didn't have anything today.
Pretty speechless for that one.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Wow, that's odd, isn't it.

Speaker 7 (32:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
Yeah, And then we also had Uncle Mark on that's
Lisa's uncle who lives down in Key West. He owns
several businesses, including a strip club, so we got his
take on how the interview process works down there.

Speaker 8 (32:39):
Yeah. Yeah, we have auditions. Yeah, you come in, you
got to see the manager and he did our dants there,
you do the poll and then we go from there
to maybe going down there and show me your money maker.

Speaker 5 (32:56):
He just says it like it is.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
Yeah, he really does back. Yeah, Yeah, you really can't edit,
Uncle Mark, You really can't, you know, you just say
it like it is. Also this morning in Billy's Report,
which he does twice every morning. Entertainment six forty and
eight forty, Taylor Swift's surprising fans in Nashville popping out

(33:20):
of the Came Brown Show. We had a question amongst
ourselves was it planned, like, you know, how did it
all come together?

Speaker 12 (33:26):
And I saw another clip of the Taylor Swift thing,
and it was not planned because she said in another
clip that the band just learned how to play shake it.

Speaker 7 (33:35):
Off in three minutes.

Speaker 4 (33:37):
And also one of the girls who's there had no
idea that she would be there. That's incredible. In three
minutes they learned shake it Off.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
Wow. She also said another clip that I saw that
the guitar she was playing was Chase Rice's yeh Country.
She danked him actually when yeah, she didn't have a
guitar he did, So maybe it wasn't planned.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
Well, she can do anything. I mean, it's her song,
so she obviously like that's her that's her thing. She
can just hop up and do that. I was just
amazed at that. We were talking off here the band.

Speaker 4 (34:06):
Yeah, three minutes, that's amazing.

Speaker 5 (34:08):
Yeah, when did they get when they were doing it?

Speaker 1 (34:10):
It's kind of a basic beat though, I love it. Yeah,
I love the whole thing. Billy, Well, he's he was
a drummer.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
He was a drummer.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Yeah, but imagine the pressure. Yeah, Taylor Swift three minutes
yeah to learn her song? Yeah, pretty crazy. Also this morning,
we had a discussion about the fourth of July. One
third of people in America will not be celebrating the
fourth of July, including Winnie who's not doing it out
of protest. It's just that she has no plans. Hey, guys,
the need the dog walk here and you got nothing

(34:38):
to do on the fourth of July. Time a gunk.
WIT's beautiful?

Speaker 8 (34:43):
Have you been?

Speaker 5 (34:44):
Yeah, a while ago.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
It's a great place.

Speaker 5 (34:46):
It's pretty yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
No, yeah, now it's a beautiful town. Yeah. Why are
you laughing? I'm not go ahead, it's a beautiful.

Speaker 8 (34:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
You got your Kenny bunkpour you got a gunk queer.

Speaker 7 (35:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
Well they have that beautiful walk on the cliff side there.
Oh it's BEAUTIFU. Yeah, it's great. All right, what else, whinny?

Speaker 5 (35:05):
You should come to the Plymouth Fourth of July parade.

Speaker 13 (35:08):
It's enormous and so much fun.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
Plymouth tends to have giant parades. Their Thanksgiving parade is enormous. Yes,
she doesn't do parades.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Parade. Oh see, there's another happy thing she doesn't like.

Speaker 5 (35:22):
Oh billy, you don't like prade parade unless she paid
to be there?

Speaker 1 (35:25):
So please okay, By the way, he wants to pay
me to host a parade. Hey, everybody there you go,
can somebody do something with winning for the fourth Come on?
I want to see you in a butterfly stare all right?
In the meantime, I saw the Mighty One yesterday. That
was a throw ride. Hey he's got he's got a

(35:49):
new look. Did you notice he's growing his hair out
and he's got a mustache.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
Now, oh yeah, let's go. And he was in Hozier
last night with the producer producer Riley. He close to
every concert. Well, he's the music guy right here he is. Yeah,
he should be doing the job. Baby, the Mighty One
in there. You know what opened the door
