Speaker 3 (03:35):
Right, God, you're like Mel Robbins, constantly flying around.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Yeah, but you won't be off for that. You'll be
doing it now.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
We do the show exactly.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
So I was up late.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
You could probably hear it in my voice. Michelle and up.
I were up very late last night because we decided
to finally watch the first Wicked movie. You could have
told me it was like four hours long. I mean,
oh my odd, But did you like it? It was phenomenal.
You know what really blew my mind the size of

(04:07):
the production numbers, the dance numbers, just insanely large. It
was like beautiful to watch. I'm just saying, and that
was up late.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Would I like it? You think?

Speaker 8 (04:17):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Honestly, I think you would. It's so well done.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
And Cynthia Rigo, Arrivo and Ariana just together, yeah are
and they're the musical numbers were so well done.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I just I think you should give it a shot.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Okay, because I was going to watch the Sopranos again,
maybe I should watch Wicked instead.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Yeah, I mean, Wicked for Good comes out, you know
next week.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
So why did I think you saw the original Wicked?
They're always criticizing me. For having not seen.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
It well, because you're you know, you're like one of
the gals.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
And by the way, Jonathan Bailey is that his name? Yes,
I'm a beautiful human being.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I see what I mean, got a beautiful head of hair.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
I mean, this is a beautiful man. This is Jonathan Bailey. Okay,
he was the sexiest man in the world.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Oh that's right.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
You know what he still is exactly.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Wow.

Speaker 12 (05:04):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios, we're back
with Billy and Lisa in the morning, and.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Lisa Dunnovan in fact, is back.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
If you're just waking up, Lisa's back.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
In her chair.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
I am, I had a few days off.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Thanks for holding down the ford, especially Gianna for waking
up so early.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
I hope she was okay.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
You had to see the look on her face the
first couple of mornings there. It's pretty shocking getting in here.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
And by like Wednesday or Thursday, you know, I had
to let her in. Her key card didn't work in
the morning, so I'd let her in by Wednesday. I'm like,
how you feeling now. She's just like a disaster and.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
It's one thing that you have to get in here
so early in the morning. But you get in the
door and immediately dive into the show like it's non stop.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Jump right in. And I have to say, you never
get used to getting up that early.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Yeah, and it's a look of devastation on the face.

Speaker 13 (05:55):
It's morning Morning, crew, It's Kristen up in Brooklyn, Maine.
I just want to welcome back Lisa. It's so nice
to hear your voice again this morning. Hope you had
some great time off and.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yeah, just good to hear your voice. Welcome back. There
you go. Thanks, good to have you back.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Hun I love being back and missed you guys, missed
all the laughs.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
And we had some count on us.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
We had some anyway, huge Saturday Night Live episode the
other night. Olibia Dean, who's doing our jingle ball, was
the musical guest. Boy was she fabulous, very glamorous, very classy.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
It's a nice groove.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
It is smooth and classy.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Actor Glenn Powell was the guest host and he was
hilarious in every skit. But in the monologue he told
us how he was originally supposed to do Saturday Night
Live just as COVID hit.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
At the time, he was.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Promoting promoting Top Gun Maverick, and so they had to cancel.
Problem is when he was booked for Saturday Night Live
four years ago. Well, he told his ups driver it
was going to be on Saturday Night Live. They actually
took a selfie. Here's the rest of the story.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
I am here hosting. It feels amazing.

Speaker 14 (07:10):
But what feels even better is proving to this use
ups driver that I am not crazy.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
So this is real.

Speaker 14 (07:18):
My sisters tracked him down so to prove to Mitch
that I am not a liar, I flew him all.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
The way to New York. Coach.

Speaker 15 (07:30):
I don't know how running Man's going to do you,
but I flew him here and he thought it was
a scam, but he still came, and he is sitting
in the audience tonight.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
So let's give it up for Mitch. The upshot so cool?
All right, So Mitch, why don't you come up here.
We'll recreate the selfie. Bring this thing full serpent.

Speaker 14 (07:58):
Look, I had to wait my entire life plus four
years to be here. But if I have learned anything
it is that the best things in life don't happen overnight.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
And no one knows that better than you. Pet. How's
that for a plug. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Great. So my wife Michelle and I are watching the
show and I've mentioned before she's not really social media savvy,
and she says, oh my god, I didn't know you
could take a picture with your cell phone simply by
hitting the button on the side, because she's always like
reaching around and trying to get everybody in the frame
and hit the button on the screen and she had

(08:40):
no idea. I said, yeah, it appears you can hun
and then we took a selfie.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
Paul Michelle, Yeah, that's why they created that button. You
don't have to fumble around, you can just press it.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
And she kept saying at the beginning of the show,
She's like, he looks so much like Tom Cruise. He
reminds me of Tom Cruise. Look at his physique is
very similar to Tom Cruise. I said, honey, Top Gun Maverick, Yeah,
that was him.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
Want no fun facts. Glenn Powell is a licensed pilot.
Tom Cruise paid for his schooling to become a pilot.
No way for Top Gun.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
Maverick and Glenn Powell this week also announced that he's
getting his college degree from the University of Texas.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
That's another cool Glenn Powell's very, very cool, and he.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Was hilarious in all the kids.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
He did one of them missing his daughter's ex and.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
We got it right here a miss my daughters, my.

Speaker 14 (09:47):
Drinking with your favorite drinking always proud.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Agree you're extent.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Somebody had the ponytail going and oh yeah, he had
more mullets on that show Saturday Night Now justin you're
a producer. I was trying to figure out what those
their voices or was it dubbed because the voices.

Speaker 5 (10:12):
Were awesome and the song not sure, they sound really
good though I'm not sure.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
I think it was his voice. Think so yeah, I do.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
You just got that face that makes you laugh when
you look at.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
It without saying anything. Just the expressions on his face
made me laugh.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
Olivia Dean did two songs, including Man I Need a.

Speaker 12 (10:31):
Ready gave you the Time on the place, just tell
me the Man.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
Ed's the headliner. Obviously he's going to crush it at
the end, but that's going.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
To be the moment.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Man and the Man I Need is a massive hit.
And even she didn't see the success for it.

Speaker 9 (10:56):
So much fun making it and I knew I liked it,
but I didn't know people would like really run with
it like this, but I've really been thinking about why,
and I think there is just a joy in that song,
Like I was so happy when I made it, And
I think that people want to be happy and dance
and just feel loving, and I think that that song

(11:18):
does that.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
So hopefully it's that.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
I totally agree. Every time I sing that song, I
have a smile on my face.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
I remember the day you came in you heard it
for the first time, and you were raving about it.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
I heard it on Kiss Yeah, and it stopped me
down in the kitchen and I said, who is this?

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Like this is my favorite new song.

Speaker 5 (11:38):
I heard the song and I didn't know who it was.
And then when they announced the jingle Ball to all
of us internal, I was like Olivia Dean and then
they played the song and I go, oh my god.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
I know that song well.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Over the weekend, Olivia Dean announced a tour and she's
going to be at the TD Garden next summer August tenth,
but we get her first for the jingle Ball.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
Wait, so did you watch land Man? Yes? After Wicked.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
I watched the first episode of the new season of
land Man in the afternoon between football games, and then
we watched Wicked last night. Had I known it was
like five hours long, I probably would have started watching earlier.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
But it's a good five hours.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
How long is it? Though? It's about three hours?

Speaker 2 (16:21):
It's yeah, it's just under yeah, three and three ish.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
By the way, on the Today Show, talking about originally
being cast with Cynthia o'revo.

With her, the greatest singer in the entire world.

I'm spoiled for life.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
You know, one of the things I was most impressed
about with the Wicked movie are on a Grande is a.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Great little actress.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Yes, she it.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Oh my god, was she good.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Yeah. It was very, very well matched Cynthia and Arianna.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
And she was great in all those giant dance numbers,
the production numbers.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
It was.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
It was really fun to watch. Justin you got to
watch it.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
I will put it on the list.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
I know you're always the guy telling me I have
to watch something.

Speaker 5 (17:15):
Well, yeah, I mean it took you a while, but
I mean I think I'll give.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
It a shot. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (17:19):
Maybe my daughter, Yeah you think three years old? Yeah,
young for sure. No, I think it'll be great.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
Alex Warren is launching a tour and he's gonna bring
it to the TD Garden.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
July thirteenth.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
He announced it with Jennifer Aniston, The Little Orphan Alex
Tour Your honor.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Annie is not an orphan. I'm her father.

Speaker 15 (17:41):
Oh come on, Annie, cut, I've been waiting in the
car the whole time on your ride home.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Wait, if she's not actually an orphan, that means I
can go on tour. Yeah, I get yeah, you can.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
That's good.

Speaker 19 (17:50):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
It was an interesting way to announce a tour.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
Got Jennifer Aniston, Yeah, you don't see her often, hind
stuff right, not really wow?

Speaker 1 (17:59):
And Olivia Dean fresh off Saturday Night Live, is launching

TD Garden August tenth, so summer of twenty twenty six.
And Glenn Powell was the guest host on Saturday Night

it came in second.

To Now You see Me Down, Now you don't the
latest in that franchise.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
And Thanksgiving Day Football, there's gonna be a lot of it.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
Three games and every single.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
One of those games will have a big star, starting
with Jack White. He'll be performing the Detroit Lions Green
Day Packers game in Detroit. That's a one o'clock kick.
Post Ma alone will perform the Cowboys Chiefs matchup at
and T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. That's a four to
thirty game. And then Little John has the Ravens Bengals

(18:56):
game and that's in Baltimore and that game comes on
on Thanksgiving night at eight twenty. A lot of football
on Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
Post Malone is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. If you remember,
he covered the Hoodie and the Hoodie song. Oh yeah,
he talks with the Dolphins. Yeah, he switched the Cowboys.
He's a huge fan. So I'm sure this is a
moment for post Malone.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Now, somebody in the room want to explain that Kim
and Chloe Kardashian party over the weekend, the slumber party
that featured strangely enough, Britney Spears.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Yeah, I saw that on Instagram.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
She was sitting in bed with it in between the
two of them, giggling and kissing them.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
It's really creepy. I was very creeped out by Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:40):
I know, because Britney thanked them for having the slumber party,
but she specifically thanked Chloe and Kim for letting her
come over and play with their kids. And Brittany talks
like a child. It's it's really bizarre.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
Oh, we're just chewing in our geriatric bed. Yeah, is
dead vibrates what the.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
I will no, But I have to say I'm happy
that they invited her over. I think that Brittany needs
I think she needs friends, like I feel like she's
very isolated.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Well, they can be friends privately. I know they can
support Brittany privately. I'm just thinking the slumber party was
a little out there.

Speaker 5 (20:24):
Who am, But look at if Brittany really needs help,
are they going to try to help her?

Speaker 1 (20:30):
I needs clearly something off here.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
There's definitely something off, but at least she's with people
like and she's not. I just feel like Brittany's very
isolated and that's not a good thing.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Okay, okay, yeah, I don't get to talk with the
baby thing.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
Well again, that's again, she was a child star. This
is very deep, I think.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
Yeah, and then to coloring right now.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
I like to color and I like to chase of course.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Yeah, it's like a lost childhood.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Finally, the first trailer, so the Real Housewives of Rhode
Island drived over the weekend.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
We have a clamp Rosie Sprave.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
She's not afraid to call people out. She's moving into
an apartment and the old.

Speaker 17 (21:12):
Guy that she cheated on with the new guy is
paying for it.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
But I'm the problem.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
Now we can talk about the story behind the store
well that male voice she heard.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
There was Rich Damari, who used to work in my
position right here.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
Yes, yes, he started as my intern and he became
what became Justin.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
So there was Rich and then there was Justin.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
He was hearing her about ten years.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
And by the way, Rosie, his wife, who was one
of the Rhode Island housewives, was also my injury and
for months and months who had been bugging Rich And
he wouldn't let us say anything about.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
The reality show.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
I'm sure it was a contractual thing.

Speaker 5 (21:49):
Well, listen, if Bravo is listening. Rich would not admit
that he was a part of this, right. He followed
it to a t. I mean I have the texts.
I'm like, bro, just it's me.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
Bravo's got to know that we were banging on Riches
and Rosie's door and they said we can't do anything
with anyone. Yeah, and now, of course they'll be everywhere
except this show.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
That's not true. He promised to come on the show.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
He said he will, but there's some things with Bravo.
He has to figure it out. It comes out. In
twenty twenty six.

Speaker 19 (22:17):
Yes, and I was just watching the newly released trailer
for the Real Housewives of Rhode Island. They all look
like they're either from the Jersey Shore or maybe mafia princesses.
But regardless, it's not good.

Speaker 21 (22:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
I agree.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
I had a little bit of surgery, a lot.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
A little bit.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
But what I The nicest thing about this is that
Rosie and Rich met literally met on this show.

Speaker 5 (22:45):
Oh yeah, yep, yep, and then connected years later. Yeah,
and now they're.

Speaker 3 (22:56):

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Billian Lisa Kiss one a week.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
Hey guys, welcome back and welcome back to Lisa. She's
back in her chair and back from a few days off.
So always good to see you.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
Love.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Yeah, thank you for letting me do that last week.
It was really nice.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
To have a few days, and thanks to Gianna for
filling in and Riley for doing the traffic.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
I really appreciate it. But our topic.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
Today is things that you leave behind, things that you
lose while you're traveling, because yesterday I figured out that
I did not have my makeup bag, which included all
of my makeup products, all of my brushes, and all
of my skincare products.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
It was in my carry on, which was like a
large tote.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
It was in my carry on when I got on
the plane, and when I got off the plane and
got home, there was no bag with my makeup and
my skincare products in it.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
But your carry on was still there, but the makeup
bag was not.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
It was missing, So I don't know if I lost
it going through security.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
You know, when you stick your bag underneath your seat
in front of you, or you put it up in
the overhead. So at one point I had put it
up in the overhead and then I moved it down
into under my seat. So maybe when I put it
under my seat it kind of fell out underneath. The
person in front of me again didn't notice that it
wasn't there until I got home hours later and I'm
unpacking and I say to myself, where's my makeup?

Speaker 3 (24:45):
So what you're saying is possibly one of the cleaning
crew has some very expensive.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Do you understand.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
I had to go out and recreate the bag that
I lost, and it really got me upset. I was
crying because there was so much stuff in this makeup bag.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
Well, they do say on the plane, make sure you
get all of your stuff and clean out behind under
the seats and everything.

Speaker 4 (25:07):
And I just didn't, And so I called the airline.
I I you know, I did everything that you're supposed
to do, but there's no back.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Yeah, it'll be a miracle if you get that back. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
Oh there's like one hundred percent chance I'm not getting
a pan.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
No, well you know by now.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Yeah, there's no way I'm getting it back by So
that was so I came in this morning. I was
telling Billy and We're like, oh, this is a good
topic because I'm sure this happens a lot. And I
do have a list of the top ten most things,
like most commonly things left behind during travel. So the
number one thing is your passport and all of your
travel documents.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
People lose that all of the time.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
I panic about that one all the time when I travel.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
Worst case scenario.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
There's nothing worse, especially if you're traveling abroad and international
flight and now you're there, you're done, but you.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
Can't come home.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
I'm telling you, Especially these Africa trips, I'm like, oh
my god, how would I get home?

Speaker 1 (25:59):
I lost my pa?

Speaker 4 (26:00):
You would have I think you have to go to
like the embassy or something.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Yeah, and that's the number one most commonly, it's.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
The number one thing.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
The second one you can probably guess is your phone.
Oh yeah, yeah, and you bost your didn't you leave
a phone like in a cab or something when you
were in New York?

Speaker 12 (26:16):
No?

Speaker 3 (26:16):
I left it in an Uber in Florida.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Yeah, and it's an Android. You should have just left it. Yeah, Okay,
you know what judgmental.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
But you got it back right.

Speaker 8 (26:25):
No?

Speaker 3 (26:25):
I did not get it back. No, because there's an
Uber driver scam going on in Florida.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
I found this out.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
No, during my investigation. When I called the hotel because
I got the Uber at the hotel, he said, oh,
you'll never see that phone, because I knew I get
out of the Uber, And two minutes later I realized, oh,
my phone. It was right on the console in the
back seat between the seats. And when I called and
they put me in touch with the Uber drivers, said no,
there was no phone there. And then the guy at
the hotel, very fancy hotel by the way, said, oh, no,

(26:53):
that's a scam. You'll never see that phone. They the
uber drivers have a place they bring it and they
get good money for them. Okay, No, I did not
telling you.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
This was my experience.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
Okay, I believe.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Hotel okay number three, your wallet and your credit cards
left behind. They say to leave backup cards and extra
cash in the hotel safe, just so you have something
in case you lose your money.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (27:19):
But then I also heard never to leave the cash
in the safe in the hotel room. Oh really I
heard that as well.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Well, the point of having a safe if someone can
get into it.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Yeah, I'm always a little skeptical about that room safe. Yeah,
who has like let's say, for instance, you leave and
you couldn't get in, so the safe somebody has a
way in.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Oh, there's definitely a code.

Speaker 5 (27:41):
There's a master code to get in. Yeah, who has
that code?

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Right?

Speaker 4 (27:45):
Another thing that's left behind all the time, which I
can totally see are like the refillable water bottles that
you bring with you Stanley yep.

Speaker 5 (27:53):
Oh yeah yeah, But I mean that's the Stanley versus
a passport of your phone or cash.

Speaker 3 (27:59):
I mean, if you are calling the airline about your
water bottle, I mean.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Really, unless it's a barrista from.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
Oh God, that's still going nuts on soshal right, yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
Yeah, okay, sunglasses. Left behind a lot of clothes. Didn't
that happen to you recently? Justin you left all your
clothes in the closet.

Speaker 5 (28:16):
Not only that, Lisa I left. I went to New York.
This is actually last March, and I left behind the
Lulu Lemon bathing suit that Lisa got me two Christmas ago.
It's my favorite baby zooit. Yeah, we left it, all
the bathing suits hanging up in the closet, and then
we called the hotel and they said, yeah, we'll ship
them to you.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Never saw them.

Speaker 20 (28:34):
Now.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
We went to Peetown together, you and I justin last summer.
Can you imagine if you left those lemmae like super
shorts and oh the gold, They'd be like, what the
hell was going on here?

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Oh, it's Peetown, so they probably expect me. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:47):
I wonder what happens with all these clothes that you
leave in hotels, Like what do they do with them?

Speaker 1 (28:52):
They probably just they probably take them.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Oh they always say no, I didn't find anything.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
I mean, look, if you're working on the crew, right
you're going into the room afterwards, it's like, okay, finders keepers.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
Hopefully they washed the little lemons first before they put
them on. I don't want to know where those have been.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
And now I know what I'm going to get you
for Christmas.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Ah.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
Another thing on the list which I can totally see,
chargers and all of your charging cables like that.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
I I've done that.

Speaker 4 (29:20):
You got to leave it, well, I know, but still
like they're still expensive.

Speaker 22 (29:26):
One time I was on a flight and I tucked
my kindle in the front pocket and I left it,
and then so was walking down the aisle and I
was like my kindle and my sister gave it to me.
I'm like, I can't leave behind. I was the a
hole that turned around. It was like, excuse me.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
Excuse me, excuse me.

Speaker 1 (29:43):
I need to get back.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
I would I would have done the same.

Speaker 22 (29:46):
I felt so bad and I was like, I can't
leave it.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
Yeah, I did that once, or where you had to
go back reverse in the line and everybody's banging into
you and they hate you, and then I just turned
around and left it.

Speaker 4 (29:57):
Well in the same category, or is your little kindle there?
Headphones and the AirPods are also left behind a lot,
and they're really expensive.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
It depends. Some of those headphones are really really expensive. Yeah,
I feel like I.

Speaker 5 (30:13):
Always leave something behind every time we check the room, always,
you know, big or small, usually small things.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
Well, that's really the most stressful part of flying, right
because you're always concerned, Okay, where's my passport? I still
on my licenside of my passport. I'm good, I'm okay.
Even credit cards I can go without, but I need
the passport. I need the license. And you're constantly in
fear of oh did we get the safe. We put
stuff in the safe. How many times have you left
the hotel room and said, oh, my god, we never
got the stuff out of the safe.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (30:41):
Now it's topic time for the Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 8 (30:44):
In the morning.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
So it's a big travel time in the country.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
We're coming up on Thanksgiving and the holiday season Lisa
just came back and you lost your makeup bag.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
I don't know where when.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
I think I left it on the plane yesterday, but
I literally was crying because it had all of my makeup,
all of my skinning care of products and it's just gone.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
And Justin we were just talking off the year. Do
you remember, I think it was last year when I
was coming back from Africa. They lost my luggage, my
entire luggage, and I came on the show saying it's
too bad because I had gifts for all of it.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
Yeah, and then I got the gifts.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
Yeah, a liar, oh man, losing things while you're traveling.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
Let's go to Nicki in Tewksbury.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
Good morning, NICKI, what have you got for us?

Speaker 18 (31:30):
So I was meeting up with my best friends from
the Cape at the Great Wolf Lodge and she brought
me this amazing gift of a huge mason jar full
of the Devil's attist and I was like, okay, well
I don't need that right now. So we were like,
let's put it in the safe. Completely forgot about it.
Two days later, we check out and I got like
half my home and I was like, oh my god,

(31:51):
I have a Mason Jar like a lot, like a
lot in the safe in Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, and I
called them and I was like, it's medicinal. It my medication.
I need it back. And I had to fight with
these people and they had it. They actually saved it.
I could have guaranteed that it would have been gone,
but they had it.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
That's amazing that you got it back.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (32:11):
I fully understand, Nikky. I don't smoke weed anymore, but
I fully understand needing the weed.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
A great wolf lodge. Understand it's so stressful, great place.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
It's a great place. But yeah, there's it's Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Sometimes when I go, I wish.

Speaker 12 (32:27):
We had a blast.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
I'll bet you didn't, Nikki. Are you high right now? No?

Speaker 7 (32:33):
No?

Speaker 18 (32:34):
No, all right.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
Good way to start, Bill, of course it is.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
Let's go to Lena. She's in bourn.

Speaker 7 (32:43):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Here we go.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
Okay, you want to talk about my uber story, right
I do?

Speaker 4 (32:49):
I do.

Speaker 20 (32:49):
It's actually a real thing. Yeah, you're a thing. And
it's not just in Florida, it's up here too.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
Oh okay, Now what is your expertise on this?

Speaker 20 (33:01):
So I work in law enforcement and we get a
lot of reports of I left my phone in the
uber they'll track it down with the app and they like,
there'll be Excellent's house and like, no, I don't have
it and the app shows it right there.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
Do you want to say you're sorry now?

Speaker 5 (33:16):
Just yeah, we I don't believe Billy's story because nobody
wants an Android.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
Oh my god, what's the android thing? You know what's
mostly android?

Speaker 20 (33:25):
I'm an Android, right, Dislike my work phone is an iPhone,
my personal is an Android.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
Yeah, because it's a superior phone.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Let's be honest.

Speaker 5 (33:33):
But Lena, as someone who works at law enforcement, don't
they catch on the uber drivers that you can track
the phones.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
It's so dumb, why would you take the phone?

Speaker 20 (33:42):
Yeah, so they even if you track them, they you
can't like search a house. You'd have to write a
search for no one would create you search on that.
So they just like, no, don't have it, don't have it,
and you're in law enforce.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
Co'm overseas.

Speaker 19 (33:53):
Now.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
These uber drivers they go right to the fence, right
if there's a phone in the car.

Speaker 20 (33:59):
If there's a phone a car, that's usually gone within
a couple.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Hours or an hour, they ship it to another country.
That's what she said.

Speaker 20 (34:06):
To other countries. Yeah, they'll get they'll sell them in
other countries and get the money.

Speaker 5 (34:10):
Okay, Bell, I take it back. Okay, okay, I take it.
Thank you, Lena, she worked and I love you.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Have a good day, Lina.

Speaker 20 (34:19):
Well, I'm glad I could help for this this one time.

Speaker 4 (34:21):
Bill.

Speaker 3 (34:21):
Oh, thank you very much. Law enforcement justin Okay.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
Well I did. I didn't see.

Speaker 5 (34:26):
I didn't understan why they would take the phone if
they could track it. But that makes sense. Yeah, they
can just say they don't have it. They can't get
a search warrant in the house.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
Let's go to Vanessa in beautiful Marion, Massachusetts.

Speaker 10 (34:36):
He Vanessa, Hey, good morning, how are you good.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
What's your story?

Speaker 4 (34:41):
Good?

Speaker 17 (34:42):
So I left. I have a two part story. But
the first part is I left my iPad on a
plane and a stop over to Paris. I did try
to get it back. I left it in the pocket
in front of the seat, but and I never got
it back. But the second part is I was watching
a YouTube channel the other day and they were talking
about something called Unclaimed Baggage dot Com, which I guess
after like X amount of days, the airlines send their.

Speaker 20 (35:03):
Stuff in to this website and then they resell it all.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
So I was looking at it.

Speaker 17 (35:08):
I was like, this is bizarre, but yeah, you can
buy all of this US stuff that people have left
on airplanes, or you.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Could buy your stuff back, right, you should look for.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Your makeup, or you can buy a pennies on the.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Dollar maybe on there.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (35:22):
Yeah, Well there's a time limit, right that they can
hold it for and then they can sell it, right, I.

Speaker 17 (35:25):
Don't know how many days, but now I'm like intrigued.
So I was on the site and I was like,
I mean, it's the stuff isn't even that cheap, but
you could buy suitcases or clothes, sunglass and all sorts
of stuff.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
And I was like, wait a minute, where do you
go for this?

Speaker 17 (35:40):
It's unclaimed baggage dot com. I heard about it the
other day. So so when you guys were talking, I'm like,
I have to call in. Oh got it.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
I'm going on there. I'm going to look for my safe.

Speaker 14 (35:54):
I don't know about leaving stuff, but we've definitely taken things.

Speaker 5 (35:58):
Me and my family have a competition of that's the biggest.

Speaker 10 (36:00):
Thing that we can take.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
And my aunt one time took a lamp.

Speaker 17 (36:04):
So this is back in like twenty eleven when the
lamps weren't as big and bulky and like stuck to
the table.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
But yeah, she took a lamp. We don't do it anymore,
but it was definitely a good laugh.

Speaker 5 (36:14):
Sounds like Billy taking furniture from the hotel. Well, it's
a chat. They they had a challenge. They don't do
it anymore where they used to challenge each other on
what they can take.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Yeah, well don't you take towels.

Speaker 3 (36:24):
Towels, face cloths. And I argue with Michelle all the time.
Almost every time we travel. I try to take the robe.
She won't let me the bit.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
I have a collection of hotel robes.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
They charge you for that.

Speaker 1 (36:36):
Some do, some just let it go.

Speaker 5 (36:38):
I'm not sure. The towels are great though. Hotel towels
are fantastic. Oh my god, they're really great. But Bill
doesn't take the towels for his body. Heaven, no way,
I'm not lying.

Speaker 3 (36:47):
I put two or three towels, four face cloths every
time I stay at a hotel in my gym bag
because I used to face closs and wax my boat.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
Not for his body.

Speaker 6 (36:59):
I wish I would kidding because you're not not at
all kidding, not ketting at.

Speaker 10 (37:03):
All love this topic. This is Lisa from Milton. Just yesterday,
flying back from Florida. My brother in law left his
entire suitcase with TSA. Oh ten minutes before the flight.
We hear an announcement for him to come and get
his whole suitcase. Thank goodness, he realized it then and

(37:24):
not while we were.

Speaker 2 (37:25):
On the plane. Wow.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
So he just had like a brain fart and he
just forgot that he put his suitcase through the is
a security screener.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
I could see that happening though, Like if if they
pull your bag for screening, your suitcase that you're traveling
with your carry on, but you also have a backpack
or something, you would Yeah, so wrapped up with the
screening that you forgot you left your backpack.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
