Speaker 1 (00:05):
Not so much to come through the floor pitches Peaches.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
I really love your beaches, shake your tree at tribute
to Peaches.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
I hope they're listening at the national headquarters of Cadbury. Okay,
it's raight. Peaches is the winner this year. I don't
care what they say.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
And the voting starts today, right, starts today at high
noon and it goes for twenty four hours, so it
ends tomorrow noon and then that's the first bracket and
then if we get to sixteen, the second voting starts
Wednesday at noon.

Speaker 5 (00:39):
And people can vote at Cadbury USA, on their Instagram,
on their Instagram.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yep, it's all through Instagram.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Now, who's this annoying raccoon that we're worried about?

Speaker 6 (00:48):
I have this competition I'm worried about. I think he's
going to be our biggest competition. It's Louis the Raccoon
and he's in Miami. Yeah, and they have a lot
of followers, so I think he's going to be our
biggest competition.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (01:02):
I'm assuming he's going to make it to Thursday and Wednesday,
and then if we're up against him, then it'll be
it'll be Peaches against Louis on Thursday.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Okay, so we need Billy and Lisa Morning Show Nation, Yes,
to start voting at noon today for Peaches.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Correct, and then again on Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Okay because there are different brackets correct. All right, now,
can I ask you something that could come across as awkward?

Speaker 2 (01:26):
So Peaches and Stewie are they an item? Sort of?

Speaker 1 (01:32):
To her? No? But to him yes, Oh, she's playing
hard to get. She's playing hard to get.

Speaker 6 (01:36):
Oh, so he's totally He loves her and is infatuated
with herself, falls around everywhere.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Well, how could he not be when you think of.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
It, she's kind of like whatever.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Well maybe you know, when Peaches wins the national competition,
she'll be ready to give herself a win.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
To speak, I mean, there's got to be some reason.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
There's got to be a sober.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Story of that, right, So he's hopeful.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yeah, but I love it you go out on a
press tour.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
This is like the official press tour, because I've seen
you on a couple of the local TV stations.

Speaker 6 (02:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Well, most of them come out to the farm.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
But this is awesome because we get to come in
and meet you guys, and you get to see them.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Now what is the what is the prize for winning?

Speaker 6 (02:19):
So this year, every time you make a bracket you'll
get like one hundred dollars and then two hundred and
three hundred. But if you make it to the final,
you get to be in the commercial and I think
it's fifty five hundred dollars.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Oh wow for winning.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Really, so fifty five hundred could be the grand that's
the grand prize. And all that money goes back And
we have to mention I haven't yet their therapy horses,
I mean, and so I'm guessing all the money goes
right back to them, right.

Speaker 6 (02:44):
So one hundred percent goes right into the nonprofit. So
we rescue these guys.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Rehab them, and then train them for therapy work.

Speaker 6 (02:51):
So all that money would go back to not only
caring for the horses, it goes to our programs.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Yeah. And how many horses and all of you keep
on the farm.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
We have nine total?

Speaker 6 (03:00):
Yeah, six of them suffer from dwarf ism, and our
smallest dwarf is Clarence.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Clarence. We haven't met clown.

Speaker 6 (03:07):
He was going to be entered, but he ended up
having surgery because he fractured his hip to.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
So yeah, now, did somebody tell me that Peaches and
Stewie or potty potty potty training.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Yeah, so these guys are.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
Since we go into hospitals with them, they are technically
potty trained. They all go to the bathroom on the
trailer and then we go in and do our visit
where we are, and then they come back and go
back on the trailer.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
One of the coolest moments of my entire broadcast career.
We were standing outside the studio before we went on
and Stewie looked up at me and asked me to
take him.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
For a walk. And I took him for a walk
around the whole building. It was the coolest.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
It was really cool. Horses remember people and faces, so
he remembered you and he was like, all right, let's go. Wow.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
So what's the average day like on the farm.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
We're up early, they all get fed, usually around seven,
and then they're outside all day and then you know,
they eat, walk around, run around, poop.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
They eat, walk around, run a lot of pooping.

Speaker 6 (04:08):
Yeah, and then then they go back in. But we
start up our therapy work in April. We usually don't
do it during the winter because I don't like trailing.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
And what kind of therapy describes some of the things
you do.

Speaker 6 (04:19):
So we have numerous programs. We have a reading and
math program that we do on the farm. We have
a lot of groups that come to the farm that
you know, work with the horses.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Uh huh.

Speaker 6 (04:29):
We go to schools, colleges, hospitals, We'll do one on
one visits.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
We'll visit hospice patients, cancer patients. Wow.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I got to tell you, the minute they walk in,
I feel more relaxed and comfortable. They have an immediate
effect on you. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
They totally can lower stress and anxiety. They can actually
lower your heart rate.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Wow. And and how old like can they grow too?
So to speak?

Speaker 6 (04:54):
So normal minis can live between twenty five and thirty five.
These guys, since they suffer from dwarf as, they can
live between anywhere between six months to maybe twenty just
because of the health issues.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
As long as twenty years. And you were talking about
the lifespan of a donkey. Do you have miniature donkey?
Is there such a thing as a miniature donkey?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Miniature donkeys and they can live between forty and fifty really? Wow? Yeah,
So a lot of people don't realize if you get one.
It can be around for a long time. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Wow, so they have they should have like a villages
for like many donkeys, you know, because you know, like
we have for the humans.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
You know, you go to the villages all kinds of action.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Yeah. By the way, I can't help. But notice it's
sto he's not moving in. Yeah, yeah, he's moving in Peaches.
So is Peaches ready for this competition?

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Yes, she is totally ready. She loves the camera.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
She she definitely can do this.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
So there's nothing else Peaches needs to do.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Nothing.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
So you've already submitted the photographs, you've submitted the videos,
and the voting.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Starts at noon today.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
And first things first, if people want to donate to
the farm, how do they do?

Speaker 1 (06:00):
They can donate through the website Mini Therapy Horses dot net.
Everything's on that way.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
They can do it through Venmo PayPal, everything's on our website.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
And let's say somebody out there listening has a farm,
where's the best place to go if they're looking to adopt,
so to.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
Speak, any local rescue like MSPCA. Nevin's Farm has horses.
Near North is also another great organization that has horses,
not usually larger but always I always recommend adopt, don't shop,
and always check out local rescues first.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Adopt, don't shop, that's key. Okay, now this is very important.
Everybody's listening. Listen very carefully.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Okay. To vote.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
The voting starts at noon today. Can you vote multiple
times or I think you're stuff the ballot box?

Speaker 1 (06:43):
I vote once? Okay, once per racket.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
All right, So starting at noon because we want to
get a jump on this annoying raccoon.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
And they want to go to at Cadbury, USA. That's
the Instagram correnda at Cadbury USA.

Speaker 6 (06:58):
Yes, they're going to have the voting through their stories.
I don't know yet, all tho.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
This morning, okay, but the stroke of noon is when
they want to start voting. All right, we're all rooting
for peaches. Justin we're rooting for peaches.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
I give my California now
