Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ah, you've been calling all morning long. Now we do
have another pair of tickets for the Soul to Out
jingle Ball presented by Lisa.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
All Right, Capital One. It's at the TV Garden on
December fourteenth, and it's brought to you locally by Jordan's
Furniture and Charman.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
And we need to call her twenty five at six
one seven nine three one one one oh eight. You
need the keyword and the keyword is going to be
Turkey Toss. And here's why because just announced earlier this morning,
we found out there were two new bonus spots for
two more schools if they want to get in the
lineup for Turkey Toss, which is next Wednesday. It's an
annual tradition here at Kiss one A wait, okay.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Yeah, And there's one big one school that's missing that's
pretty big, and that would be Arlington.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Every year competes with Everett. Usually it's Everett one, Arlington two.
Arlington did win one year, but they're missing this year.
Where is Arlington?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Well, there was a big upset last year.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Yeah, well Arlington. And you're listening anybody in Arlington right now?
Arlington High whatever are you listening? Go to kiss runaway
dot com slash Turkey toss.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Yeah, scared money, don't make money exactly. All right, you
gotta come back. Last year was so close. It was
a big upset. But we want you back this year.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
So and while we wait for colleg twenty five, let's
get some talkbacks in. Oh.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Well, I texted my wife Jen, who I love dearly,
that it was International Man's Day.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Oh I got it.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Yeah, and she left me on red.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Really she didn't even respond.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
No response, It says red under the text. And that
was about twenty five minutes ago when we mentioned it. So, yeah,
there's that.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
So today's International Man's Day.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
Great, that's wonderful.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
I thought that was every day of the year.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
We did too.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah, no, well you hope it today.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
We wanted to be all the man's days seemed to
be forgotten. You know, let's face it, Father's Day, it's
the forgotten holiday. Uh huh yeah, National Man's Day.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Well, happy National Man's Day, you guys, Thank you, thank.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
You very much. I've been getting flooded with people that
want me to have my wife on my after show
podcast just so she can talk about what it's like
to be married to me.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Ah, that's a good idea, crazy person, very good idea.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Well, I'm difficult too to be with. Unlovable, but difficult
just my obsessions.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I mean, well, here, you're pretty difficult too.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
I mean I wouldn't say that, Lisa.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
No, he's not. He's getting very, very, very easy to
work with.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Thank you, Lisa.

Speaker 6 (02:31):
Hey, it's Sarah for Maine. I love that producer Riley
is a fan of Dancing with the Stars, and I
actually feel like this show is having a resurgence and
we need to do a morning after Dancing with the
Stars breakdown, or like I need to hear her take
on it the day after, and we need to be
talking about this show more on the show because it's.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
Literally so good and I need.

Speaker 6 (02:55):
To talk about it with someone, which I guess is
part of my parasocial relationship with you guys.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
So, how does this season's Dancing with the Stars change
different from previous seasons? Like what makes it so special? Issue?

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Producer Riley watches it every week.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
I don't watch it, so I.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Can't answer that.

Speaker 7 (03:12):
I just feel like they had a really good cast
this season. Last season I thought was really good too.
I used to watch it when I was a kid
and then kind of got off of it and then
got back on the train a couple of years ago.
And I do think that this season has the dancing
also has been really good, like they had a lot
of like people with a dance experience. I guess, so

(03:33):
it's just making it a lot more fun to watch.
But it's like The The Bachelor Golden Bachelor, like they're
changing stuff up and it's bringing new people in and
it's just been fun. Who are the hosts now, it's
Julianne Huff and Alfonso Rivera or Carlton.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Yeah, Carlton from Fresh Princeton. Yeah, okay, I did see
you last night. That coming up on Tuesday at Banners,
mikey v is hosting the Dancing with the Stars watch party.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
You are kidding.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
It's on his Instagram. Nice he's got oh yeah, he's
like brand new.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
H Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Let's go to Amanda online three five.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Hey Amanda your collar twenty five? Do you have the keyword?

Speaker 4 (04:15):
Yes? I do, it's turkey toss.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Yeah, Amanda, can you spread the word? We have two
bonus lots for high schools that want to get on.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Well, Amanda's from Everett. They're locked in Evertt's locked in
already for Turkey.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah, they're like a juggernaut. Everett. It's crazy. But Amanda,
you've got tickets for the sold out jingle ball.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
That's awesome. Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Okay, that's Amanda and Everett right there.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Billy a Lisa every morning, just want to wait. Rosie's brave.
She's not afraid to call people out. She's moving into
an apartment.

Speaker 7 (04:46):
And the old guy that she cheated on with the
new guy is paying for it.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
But I'm the problem now.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
The yah voice that you heard in that clip the
first trailer from the Housewives of Rhode Island is the
voice of richm who started his career on this morning show.
And he's on the phone. Richie there, buddy, I'll.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Go a step further. Hi, Billy, you started my career.
I'll say that right now. Billy got my career going.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Look at you finally giving me credit for inventing you.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
How about that Rosie, she's a funny one, huh.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Now, as Rosie was also well, you guys met here
at Kiss want to wait on this show?

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Right? Well, Rosie was your intern and she actually did
a lot of work with me when we would do
like you know, Rich goes on the Boston interviews like
Jason Derulo or whoever. She would come with me. She
would prep me for the interviews because you know, I'm
pretty lazy. I don't like to do any work.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Yeah, you're not a real good interviewer either.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
He just gave you a complimentary interviewer because because of
all the prep that I would get from Rosie. Rosie
was a really good intern. But you know, she was
just my entered and we re met many years later
and it got a little romantic.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
So and you were really known when you were here, Rich,
because you were so good with these funny mashups. I
think we've got one of them right here.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Rich.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Now listen up, you maggots.

Speaker 8 (06:17):
You think you got what it takes, you doubt it's
time to learn for the King Billy Costa.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Step one, demand attention.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
When I walk in, there's a level of professionalism. It
just kind of takes over and literally overwhelms you. I'm sure.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Step two scam, scam scam.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
I've been on the.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Take since I came out of my mother's womb. Everything
in my life is a hustle. Why shouldn't it be
get on the Bandwagon take.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
That repeat after the King.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
I just want to take I just want to say.
Now he can teach you too. Over emphasized names Joanne Chang,
make up food, Timbalo Ala trash the food so awful
it sounds like my worst night.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Beleeve.

Speaker 9 (07:03):
You can sing black widow baby, and always always respect
the listeners.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Hey, everybody, Hugh, here's number one. I have a nice weekend.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
This is oh yeah, the test of time overwhelming.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
A lot of that, actually, I'd be perfectly honest. A
lot of that's good advice. A few things in there
maybe not so good, but yeah, a lot of that
is sound advice and words to live by.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Okay, So Ranch now and your wife, by the way,
have we mentioned that that you and Rosie Woods are
now married?

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (07:44):
And it all started here.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
This is so sweet, and are now cast members of
the Real Housewives of Rhode Island.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
And you are living in Rhode Island though, right Rich.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Yes, I'm in Rhode Island. And that's why I feel
bad because I want, you know, I always obviously want
to come in and see you guys anytime I possibly can,
But it's a little bit of a drive now and
my schedule somewhat busy lately.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Yeah, yeah, can you talk at all about not specifics,
but the shoot schedule, like how often are you called?

Speaker 4 (08:15):
I can't really get into, like, you know, what was shot.
I know I'm that person now, but I can't really
get into what the schedule was like. But what I
can say and what you see in that trailer as
this is going to be an epic, epic season. I
know that for sure.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Yeah, there are some strong personalities on that cast.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
Yeah, they're great, They're all they're all great, They're all.

Speaker 10 (08:41):
Fantastic, and and just the stuff that's gonna go down
is gonna be epic.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Now, had you known any of the other housewives and
you have you met any of their husbands?

Speaker 4 (08:55):
I think that will you know, be talked about when
when when stuff gets going.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Can you tell him trying to trip you up?

Speaker 10 (09:04):
Yeah, well, I know, here's the here's a great thing
about Billy.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
He's just trying to get me in trouble. It's not
even you know, it's not even a question. He'll be ecstatic.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
It would be such a feather in my cap if
I got you cut from the show.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
Right, completely take me out of the edit.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
Yeah, Rich, Rich all he wants you to do is
say yeah, so you know.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
They could have given you more of a line in
the trailer.

Speaker 10 (09:37):
Yeah no, I know there's a lot going on, but
I'm in the car with Rosie, Uh yesterday we're going
to shoot something for her local TV show, road Tripping,
which is on ABC six.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
There's no secrets. I took that that promo thing that
you just ran to heart.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Oh yeah again, now Wretch, it's road Trip and where
do we get it?

Speaker 4 (10:02):
And when road It's road Trip in ABC six here,
which is very similar to your TV shows, Billy, I'm
basically just stealing your entire career.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Well, so are you and Rosie in Road Trip?

Speaker 4 (10:14):
Yeah? Yeah, so that's the show we do every week.
It's it's very similar to like what Dining Playbook or
something like that. It's a lifestyle show. So it's and
it airs on ABC six here.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Shouldn't I be getting a pot of that since you're
copying my entire career?

Speaker 4 (10:30):
I know, you know, for somebody who's helped me out
so much, you get next to nothing, which is impossible
because everybody is always paying you for stuff, right, there's.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Always a check involved.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Rich, Yeah, I'll give you the email right after the show.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
N I appreciate that, Okay, speaking deserved honestly.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Speaking of being the king anyway, So we're in the so.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
Just get back to we were in the car and
she's talking about this, that and the other thing, and
I'm like yeah, like I'm like rain Man like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm just going I'm like, oh my god, this is
going to be my line.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Yeah yeah, Okay, when does the Real Housewives of Rhode Island?
When does it launch? Can you tell us that?

Speaker 4 (11:11):
Well, yeah, I can say that it's going to be
in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
That's it's a whole year. You want me standing by TV?

Speaker 2 (11:20):
We already knew, Yeah, it was in the trailer.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
It was okay, No, I want a specific day or week.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
I'm so excited. I haven't They don't tell me anything.

Speaker 8 (11:31):
Yeah, well you're just a yeah guy, I don't know anything. Okay,
you can say Rich Damari live now I'm doing your plugs.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Okay, now I'm working for you.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
Appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Actually, Rich is amazing. Okay. Sinatra like like Sinatra December
twenty at the Courthouse Theater, West Kingston, Rhode Island, December
twenty first the Rex Theater, Manchester, New Hampshire. Always coming
to North Country.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
Yeah, well I have other shows, but they're all sold out.
I just wanted to get Oh, it's.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Such a braggart. And now you always have Sinatra Sundays
at Coppo and those sell out all the time.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
Right, Well, those are all the Christmas shows in December
sold out, so we added brunch shows and you can
make reservations. That's a free show, so you can just
make reservations. But get in there quick.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Yeah, a Lisa and I want to come to Sinatra
Sunday during the holiday season.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
You'll never see him rich, he'll never come.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
No, we're doing it.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
I mean, I'll obviously make sure that Billy gets the
table anytime he wants to go. But the December shows
are crazy busy. But just let me know and I'll
make it work.

Speaker 11 (12:42):
Lisa now the Entertainment updates with the Billy CONSPI we so.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Arian the Grand Days next tour could be her last.
If she went on Amy Poehler's podcast this week, says
her career may take a different direction after this next tour.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
I'm very excited to do this small tour, but I
think it might not happen again for a long, long,
long long time. Sure, you know, so, I'm gonna give it.

Speaker 7 (13:05):
My all and it's going to be beautiful, and I'm
so grateful that I think that's why I'm doing it,
because I'm like one last hurrah.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
By the way, that tour does come to Boston the
TV Garden next summer July twenty second, twenty fourth, and
twenty fifth. That she was on Fallon last night, she
and Fallin recreating some of the best duets.

Speaker 9 (13:24):
Every ain't no mountain, ain, no man.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Enough, Devin, you don't have to.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
Amazing.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
It's not easy to do the Righteous Brothers.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
I'm strange.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
It's so good, so good, And I love Jimmy. He
just doesn't take himself serious.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
He just rolls.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
He doesn't try to be a great singer.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
I mean, he's standing next to arguably one of the
top three voices in the world, Ariana Grande, and he's
got no problem.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
She can say anything.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
She is amazing, And yesterday we talked about Ariana doing
Saturday Night Live December twentieth. Fallon also asked if the
Domingo character will make his return. Is Domingo coming back?

Speaker 10 (15:12):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (15:13):
I think he's been he's been really busy. I think
he's been busy. I think Domingo's dead.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Yes, he might be.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yes, I heard a rumor. I didn't hear a rumor.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
I heard her rumor.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
Yeah, the current cast everyone is so brilliant.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
I mean Ashley Padilla and I love James Ivan, I
love everyone.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
They're so.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
And by the way, justin now, Cynthia o'revo will be
in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. She's going to do
the opening number. Keep in mind, Wicked for Good opens
this coming Friday.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
I noticed you didn't say Macy's Parade.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
No, I said Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They talkbackers, and
I know you're standing by.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
A couple of weeks ago, he did like like twenty
five times the Macy's Parade.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Everybody knows it is the Macy's Parade. You just call
it the Okay, Yeah, we're going to Mason Yes, gimming,
that's branding. Olivia Dean. Tickets, by the way, go on
sale tomorrow for her show here in Boston next August
August tenth. Long long lines at the pre sale.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
I was told how many three hundred thousand people I.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Have the number here. Oh good, it's the it broke
a record.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
We'd be crazy.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Two hundred and fifty six thousand people. That's two hundred
and fifty six, nine hundred and fifty that's crazy in QQ.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Yeah, and we have her first for jingle Ball.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Yeah. I think for Ariana Grande it went up to
like thirty or forty thousand. For jingle Ball went up
to around that too, two hundred and fifty six thousand.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
So think about that demand, right, And at jingle Ball
you get Olivia Dean, but you get ed Sharon, and
you get so many other artists. Oh, one of the
phones are ringing off the heart for jingle Ball. Yeah,
twelve ten is your next shot of tickets. By the way,
Benson Boone took his tour to Norway this week and
again he did a dell.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Who do you think will do covers Christmas covers at
jingle Ball Ooh definitely, And Sharon's definitely gonna do it.
He'll throw one in.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
I could see Olivia Dean doing like a groovy kind
of a holiday song.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
I think Labay, Yeah, definitely something classic.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
It is a holiday show.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Yes, it's very festive. Jingle Ball is very festive. When's
the next shot of tickets?

Speaker 3 (17:30):
Just twelve ten The Mighty mckabe and.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
The band Shined Down. I just dropped a new song.
It's called search Light. And you got an early clip
from the guys yesterday.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Right, Yeah, thosere my buddies, Well they did our Kiss
concert a couple of years ago. That's where I met them,
and then they were at the Garden this summer. I
brought my son and it was his first concert. So
it's like real especially it's a big Shine Down fan now.
But yeah, they send it to me. It's called search Light.
I'm loving it.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Mccrage Delark's album comes out this Friday. It includes five
new songs. She's also dropping a music video for one
of the songs this coming Friday. And what else.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
Have we got?

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Celtics Crushed Crushed the Nets last night, the Bruins have
the Ducks on the road tonight. And Tom Brady doing
his power rankings for this week in the NFL, and
he had this to say about Drake May the Pats.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
They overcame a slow start against the Jets, but they
still sit at number four this week. It was a
huge game from Drake Drake May May it's an awesome
nickname I missed out there.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
And finally, big news in the restaurant world, Boston has
its first Michelin Stars Chef and restaurant. I'm talking about
three to eleven Omakasei in the South End. They got
it last night. Lease, that's big news in Boston.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
It's never happened. Plus we have a lot of friends
on the list too. With their other categories.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Michelin recommended like Woodshell, Pier four, shout out to Kristin
Knty Pammy's and Cambridge, which I love and always.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Recommend, Barvolpe, Fox and the Knife.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Karena Kunowitz, great chef Jody Adams plays a Lepodrona got
acknowledged as well as did Aaron Miller from Urban Hearth.
So that's good news for the restaurant world. Boston has
come such a long way.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Oh yeah, fancy all.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
The portions that fancy restaurants are so tiny that gets
started it down.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
Okay, well yeah, and then there's that, and then.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
Hey, your son Riley, he's just speaking the truth, right.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Hey, really is. We're brought to you by Wilson Farm
and Lexington. Everything you need for a delicious and strust
free Thanksgiving, indulge in scrumptious tides, family farm raised turkeys,
stunning floral arrangements. What's wrong with the floral arrangement? You
know what I'm saying. And don't forget their amazing homemade pies.
Go to Wilson Farm in Lexington, or just go online

(19:43):
Wilsonfarm dot com and there you go.

Speaker 12 (19:45):
All the portions that fancy restaurants are so tiny that
gets started down from.

Speaker 11 (19:50):
The planet Fitness Kiss one of eight studios.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
We're back with the Villy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 13 (19:56):
Roadblocks is announcing new measures aimed at protecting miners. The
company says it's rolling out age based chats and facial
age estimation technology to eliminate communication between adults and kids
on their platforms. And this is a first and the
company hopes it will set a new standard for the
gaming industry. The announcement also comes amid a flurry of
lawsuits over child safety.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Yeah, this is a big story this morning. I saw
it in Good Morning America. We were talking about it yesterday. Roadblocks.
Justin your son Able plays right and at Leasta your
son Riley plays he did.

Speaker 3 (20:28):
Yep, it's very very very popular, and this is it's
very troubling, and this is kind of a PSA for
not myself, but all.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Parents, all parents of young kids.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
I actually had to sit down with my son yesterday
about you know, things to look out for. I mean,
we have a lot of the safety things put into
the game, but these predator groups and these these creeps
are finding ways around it, you know, and they're infiltrating
these games online and they're doing and saying awful things
to these kids, grooming them, doing awful.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Telling them to do bad things.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Yeah, there's a case. There's a there's an extremist group.
I don't want to say the name of them, but
they just saw had an indictment against them, and they
are basically targeting children on these games and these apps.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
This is insane, and.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
They're in they're befriending them and then making telling them
to do bad things, hurt themselves. In one case, one
kid did hurt himself. So you know, it's really important,
I think for all parents, and I'm talking to myself
to educate our children.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
But didn't they arrest one of these creeps.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
A couple of them. They got one guy in Germany
and one in California.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
What is their objective? I mean, these are young.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Kids, they're sexual predators and.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
Yep, or they just get off on, you know, hurting
kids and making them do bad things. It's it's really,
it's really terrible. So you know, it's hard to explain
to an eight year old, you know, because I had
to say to them, you know, able, there's there's bad
people in this world. Not everybody is good, and not
everybody that you meet on the game is your friend.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
But I'm curious. What was Abel's reaction to it.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
He understood, he understood, but then he said, well, I
am talking to a couple of people now that I
don't know. And so I went on there and I looked,
and sure enough, they didn't do anything bad. But that's
scary right there.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
It's terrifying. Terrifying, Yeah, terrifying. The same thing happened to Riley.
Riley was talking to people and I'm like, who who
are you playing with? Who are you talking to? I
was completely destroyed by it.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
So I could think back to when my boys were young,
and it got to a point where you played your
video games, but at one point you were able to
play your video games against people in other parts of
the world, but nothing that I know ever came of that.
And I used to be a little bit nervous because
I would go downstairs and say, Okay, but I don't
know this person is where that France or Germany whatever, Right,

(22:41):
so this must be the new version of this.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Yes, I'm sure. I mean, I'm sure Chris and Alex
and Dylan are probably yelling and screaming and fighting with
these people over the game. Yes, But I mean, yeah,
I'm sure it happened then and it's happening now. And
it's good that Rollblocks is putting these things into place.
I don't think this is going to fix it completely,
but at least it's a step in the right direction.
And rightly. So they're being sued like by one hundred people,
like a hundred lawsuits against Roadblocks.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Right because kids are being influenced.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
Yeah, yeah, it's it's really scary. So I know a
lot of people, a lot of parents, their kids play Roadblocks.
My son plays, and all of his friends. They're obsessed game.
By the way, one more thing I want to add
to that. Yeah, this Roadblock. So Roadblocks has a bunch
of games within it. They have this one popular game.
It's called Steal a Brain rot and it's basically the

(23:30):
whole idea of it is to steal other people's stuff.
Whoever invented this game. It causes major problems because, yeah,
so basically what happens is you have to steal your
friend's stuff and then they get upset, and then people
steal your stuff and this stuff it's like things within
the game. Yeah, things within the game. So there's been
multiple like meltdowns about he stole my stuff, I stole

(23:53):
this kid one my friend's friend's mother called my wife
out of the game. Yeah, but that's the point of
the game. I don't understand it. We try to take away.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Point a bit. You're like teaching your kids to steal.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
Yeah, exactly, Well, you have to like build stuff, but
then you also can steal things from other people.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
Okay, like what are we doing?

Speaker 3 (24:12):
And I tried to take it from them that didn't go. Well,
it's not easy parenting in twenty twenty five, really not.
Let me tell you.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Well, I'm so glad, I'm I'm not done. Lord knows.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
But you know, well, the problem is just change older.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
It just comes with different kinds of problems.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Yeah, the problem is just changed. So yeah, yeah, there's
a PSA for all the parents out there.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
It ain't easy kiss talk back leftovers, Let's get them
just kiss one.

Speaker 5 (24:38):
Wait, just a quick question about Turkey Toss. What is
a good time for the fans to show up? And
I know you guys broadcast from Tony Sees. Looking forward
to seeing you guys there. Have a great day.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Okay, we go on the air early in the morning,
like just after six o'clock. We broadcast live from Tony Seas.
But yeah, don't we usually kick off the toss, right
it's seven.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Yeah, from basically seven to eight, so that's your window
for the competition, and then we wrap things up at
around eight thirty.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
Yeah, it's open to the public, so you can show up.
I would say show up anytime between six thirty and
seven to get a good position. There's a lot of
people there, there's a lot of things going on. But yeah,
we come out of Tony C's at seven.

Speaker 9 (25:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
When you think of it, right, it's a massive event, right,
but we're in and out. It's almost like a flash mob.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
It's so fast. Even the throws go fast. It's very
very moving. Yeah, so get there a little bit early
and you can get a good position and you can
watch the Turkey talk.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
It is open to the public and BZ will be
covering it.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
So yeah, yeah, yeah, we're going to be on WBZ
TV four.

Speaker 11 (25:43):
That's right, guys, Dancing with the Stars is the best
show on television.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Okay, when did the show become about Dancing with the Stars.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
I don't know. Because of producer Ryan Riley.

Speaker 11 (25:53):
So wholesome and entertaining, and I mean it's spent on
for twenty years. They're doing something right. But really watch
it and you think about what they do from week
to week. The choreographers, the set designs, the whole production
is really really unmashed, totally worth watching.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
Wow, I love the costumes. I wish that I could
wear one of the dancer's costumes, like they're just so
beautifully made.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
And well, you could call Hilario. I guess she's got
nothing to.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Do with her She's going to use something extra costumes.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
Yeah, how far did she make it? Riley?

Speaker 2 (26:30):
Hilaria, I'm pretty sure, like only a couple of weeks.
I think she got voted off, like literally week three.
Nobody liked her.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
And by the way, I think she was a really
good dancer. I just think they hated her.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
She's annoying.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
Well, imagine what it was like to deal with her.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Oh Ai Alatia.

Speaker 12 (26:46):
So I've been looking for an excuse to go get
myself a slice of cheesecake from the cheesecake factory because
there's one and it's like twenty five thirty minutes away
from me. But since it's Mensday or International Mensday or
whatever day it is, that's my excuse for my cheesecake.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
I love cheesecake too.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
You never had it?

Speaker 2 (27:07):
Oh God, I love it.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Are you not a fan of cheesecat I don't like cheesecake? Well,
I'm not a big sweet sky but yeah, but you
need to tell you about national or International Man's Day.
I texted my wife Michelle, say, by the way, it's
it's International Man's Day, and she just you could tell
him the text was rolling her eyes and yeah, meaning
what exactly? She responded, okay, yeah, she said yeah, meaning what?

(27:32):
And then I texted back I said, well, I think
I should get a present, right, and she said yeah, whatever, Yeah,
she doesn't care.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
Yeah, but it is International Men's Day for people that
want to celebrate.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Actually, really, what you want to know what I really said.
I said, because I'm the man you need.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Oh that's sweet though, I took.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
That from Olivia Dean. Yes, well look at you romantic.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
Wow, that's really kind of well, you know how I'm
going to celebrate what the.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
Panel down of Conna.

Speaker 9 (28:00):
Eat a cheese?

Speaker 5 (28:01):
Okay, kiss one away into the morning, wrap up on
Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 3 (28:06):
All Right, you just tuning into the Billion liadsa show
you missed a lot this morning. Let's recap, shall we?
First of all, Brian Walsh, this case is gets weirder
and weirder.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
God, what a bombshell.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
Yeah, Penny commit from WBZ was in the courtroom. He
pled guilty to two of the charges, still charged with
first degree murder. But we asked her, you know, what's
up with this? What's going on here?

Speaker 5 (28:26):
Maybe what his defense is doing and positioning themselves to
get that first degree murder charge drop down to second
degree murder.

Speaker 4 (28:35):
Make a deal with the prosecution.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
Hey, we don't even have to do the trial.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
He will plead guilty to second degree.

Speaker 14 (28:41):
Murder, which would give him the possibility of maybe getting
out of prison one day.

Speaker 3 (28:47):
Yeah, so he's about fifty years old. If he gets
a second degree, he will see parole in about fifteen years.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
That's a that's an interesting strategy.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
And the other thing is that there's no body, so
he could be using the body. I mean, it's just crazy.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Have so many questions. How do you plead guilty to
moving the body and not pleading to the murder.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
Well, he could say she fell down the stairs, or
she kept and fell.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Okay, but why move a body? Right?

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Or he could say to them, I'll give me a
deal and I will tell you what happened to her.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Right.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
It's just it's a terrible monsters. Yeah, it's terrible. But
Penny commit is on the case. We will check in
with her if we need to. Also this morning, Rich
Tamai who used to wear here and kids want to wait.
He's on the new season of the Real Housewives of
Rhode Island. It comes out in twenty twenty six. I
don't know. He said it's going to be epic.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
What I can say and what you see in that
trailer as this is going to be an epic, epic season.
I know that for sure.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
Yeah. The trailer is good. I mean Rich only has
one line. Yeah, we should have just stumped on the
interview without him and then just ask the questions and yeah,
you know, so twenty twenty six it comes out, no
official date.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
You know, when it finally comes out. We should arrange
a night out the Bill and Lisa Morning Show with
the Housewives of Rhode Island. Yeah, that would be fun
in Boston. We take them around Boston.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
That would be good. He did promise that him and Rosie,
his wife, will come in once the show is out
and they can say more. So there's that and finally
our topic time from today. Parasocial Cambridge Dictionary's word of
the year. Basically, it means when you feel an emotional
connection to a celebrity or an influencer that you know
all about them, but they don't know anything about you.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
So I have one.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
My para social whatever it's called, little relationship is with
Zeb justin your best friend.

Speaker 5 (30:35):
He has no clue that we're in a relationship, but
he is.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
Whoo, that's my best friend, zeb Zeb days on Instagram.
He's a big Instagram star.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
But yeah, we love that. Hey Zeb, what's up?

Speaker 4 (30:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (30:47):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm sure a lot of people are
in parasocial relationships.

Speaker 14 (30:53):
I head a parasocial with Kevin Carlson from one hundred
point seven WZLX, and I listened to Kevin for over
twenty years. And then after Kevin passed in October twenty seventh,
I was looking for a new station and I ended
up at Kiss Went Away. Yeah, And it's been a

(31:15):
couple of years now and I enjoy my mornings with you.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
Oh, thank you so much, and rest in peace to
Kevin Carlton.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Absolutely, such a great person and a.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Legend in the industry.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
Absolutely, Yeah, we miss him so much. He had the
Silver Bullet, which was his car. This is a little convertible.
He called this a silver Bullet.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
So yeah, RP, good morning guys.

Speaker 5 (31:35):
So I love learning new words, so this is cool.

Speaker 14 (31:38):
So I have a parasocial relationship with Benfaf, Like you
don't know.

Speaker 5 (31:43):
When I see a picture of him, I'm.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Just like, oh, it's my.

Speaker 5 (31:47):
Man, and I don't do that with anybody else.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Oh, we love him too.

Speaker 1 (31:51):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
