Speaker 2 (00:18):
We're going to see a little bit of sun, some clouds.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Temps around seventy so not as warm and as it
has been, but not a bad day. And I know
there's a Red Sox game tonight, so it'll be actually
kind of nice, like wear a sweatshirt tonight to the game.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Sixties have a six game homestand they have Blue Jays
are in town.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yeah, it's not about night.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
They had a lousy road trip. Lowsy didn't go well.
Round two of the NBA Draft. We got a Mari
William seven feet tall. We got a big man.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
He's a big drink for water. There.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Guy is a big drink of water, seven feet.

Speaker 5 (00:49):
Have you been following the rumors around Jaylen Brown? No
shopping them around?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
They can't, they can't. I can't even imagine trade him
to and Derek White. He's our guy, I know, so
the whole team.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Yeah, no, no, No, they cannot get rid of Jalen.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
They're saying, I'm not it's not definite yet, but.

Speaker 6 (01:09):
Those are rumors.

Speaker 7 (01:10):
Everyone other people are saying that it's solidified that it's
going to be Tatum and Brown, which why're getting ready
of so many other people to have the cap space.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
The rumor is that Danny Ainge is wants Jalen Brown.

Speaker 6 (01:21):
Oh, Danny h like, no, we want Jen.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Yeah, don't me. Has Brad Stevens lost his mind?

Speaker 8 (01:29):
I don't think he's.

Speaker 6 (01:29):
Brad Stevens is very smart.

Speaker 7 (01:31):
I don't think he's at Oh and next year, when
Jason Tatum can't play all year, we're gonna not have
Jaylen Brown.

Speaker 6 (01:36):
That makes sense.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I don't get the anger.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Well, he's our guys, we love.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
We have absolutely no connection to.

Speaker 6 (01:43):
It, but we we actually do.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
We have a connection to Jaylen Brown welling.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Oh, that's right, we'd be balling with Jaylen Brown.

Speaker 6 (01:49):
Yeah, we're not retiring that intro.

Speaker 9 (01:51):
No, only it's the only what we have and we're
the only morning show that is ballin is Jalen Brown
from the Boston Celtics and the Billy and Lisa in
the Morning.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Don't kiss one away Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
When yeah, we cannot lose that.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
You could travel the entire country and not find another
show that is, in fact ballin with Jayalen Brown, he
says in himself. Yeah, I don't want to part with
Jaylen Brown. I love Jaylen Brown. Yeah, Yeah, he's cool.
He's very good ball We need to prepare ourselves.

Speaker 6 (02:21):
That he's great for the community. He has so much
for like the city.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Yeah, justin you just poured a large drink of water
on the show following the story on.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Yeah, didn't pour dumb.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
You know why I could play this for myself this morning.

Speaker 6 (02:37):
Just positivity where she goes, let's insert your name there.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Wow, it's just your rumor. I don't want everybody getting
all excited to know what he's talking about. No, that's
actually not true. Yeah, you gotta be careful with that
because if it turns out to be true, then you
look like, let's get that on tape. Yeah, don't take
a side in this one.

Speaker 6 (02:59):
No, I do take aside.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
I want here to say, but Amari Williams seven.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Feet well, welcome to Boston.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
But they say he's really not that good.

Speaker 6 (03:07):
What Yeah, Okay.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Five years with Kentucky.

Speaker 7 (03:11):
Five years with Kentucky, that never happens. Kentucky's won and done.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
So I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
He's a big guy. I mean they need big.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
He's a big man, you know what. He is, a
tall glass of water.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
They got to replace Porzingis.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah, yeah, so well, God, we have so much to
talk about this morning. What happened with Anna Wintor she's.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Going, Okay, this is a major fashion announcement. Yesterday She's
gone as editor in chief of Vogue. This is like,
this is this is a moment thirty seven years.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Did she voluntarily leave or was she forced out?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
No? No, no, I think she stepped down.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
But she's still going to be working for Conde Nast
and more of a content creation director globally, so she's
not leaving the company, but they're looking for someone to
replace her. But yeah, this is a moment. This is
when I saw that, I was like, wow, because it's weird.
Devil Wars Prodded two, which is a movie basically about her,
is coming out in the.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Spring next year.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Kind of weird timing.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
It is weird timing.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Now I would expect her to be at the Bezos
Sanchez wedding.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
I know, well you might see her, you might not
see I mean, I know that Lauren Sanchez has had
dinner with oh okay in the past.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
And we were right yesterday. Tom Brady did go to
the wedding and is in Venice, Italy.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Yep, he hopped off the boat.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Yeah, yep. Him and Orlando yep, just two single guys.

Speaker 10 (04:29):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Oh that's right. Orlando Bloom is floating around. Fantas and
Katie are over.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
And Kim Kardashian is there. The whole Kardashian clan is there.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
Chris Jenny's you face made the parents.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yes, great, the new face jumps right out at you.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
It's freaking who ever did her facelift?

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Yeah, I was reading about that doctor.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
There's a guy in New York.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yes it is.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
There's like a two or three year wait list.

Speaker 11 (04:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
It costs like two hundred thousand dollars.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Well, Kim Kardashian in Venice launched a new fashion line.
She wears a fanny pack as a top.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yeah. It was like a little handkerchief.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Yeah, it looks like a fanny pack wrapped around her chest. Yeah,
it's an awful look. It didn't look good I don't
think that's going anywhere, but you really have to have
something to fill it.

Speaker 11 (05:16):
And.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
You were so, Tim Gunn.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
So the other thing that we were talking about off
the air is that one of the Adult Chain and
Gabana I think it's Gobana is at the ceremonies and
he hopped off the boat.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Oh yeah, everybody's there, but no Gabana. Each other.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Yeah, there was one there and not the other.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
I am again with that other.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
The only guy I know that I could talk to
you about that.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
No, they don't speak. Remember several years ago, Matt Siegel
went to Italy. He went on a tour right, and
the tour guide took him by Adult Chase mansion and
Gabana's mansion on a boat, and he said, yeah, don't
he lives over here. Gabana lives over here. They never

(06:03):
go adult Cha never goes to Gabana's, and Johanna never knows.
That's how I know that the tour guys know everything.

Speaker 11 (06:13):
God from the Planet Fitness, Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
We're back with Villy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Kiss justin, Let's squeeze in one talk back, Let's do it.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
Yeah, we love our kiss when to wait family, the
talk back Mafia. You can always check in on the
talkbacks on the iHeartRadio app. You're listening to us on
Kiss want to wait? Just tap that microphone button and
record right into your phone.

Speaker 8 (06:35):
I could be in a horrible mood heading to work.
As soon as I turn my.

Speaker 10 (06:41):
Favorite kiss one away family on, my mood goes from
a zero to a tent.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
I love you all and have a great day, happy.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Weekend, Love you back.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Yeah, you know what she's saying. She's saying, we are
a tall glass of water. That's right, that's right. One thing,
happy family.

Speaker 11 (06:59):
Don't remember this. Treat the other members of your family
with the same respect and cordiality you would show your
most treasured friend outside the family circle.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Right now.

Speaker 11 (07:10):
This does not mean you should be stiff or formal
with your own family. You can relax, be yourself. Just
be sure it's your best self now.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
The entertainment updates with a Billy.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Codzon oh Man. Celebrities continue to pour into Venice, Italy
for the Bezo Sanchez wedding this weekend. We were right yesterday.
Tom Brady is in Venice and is going to the
wedding Lisa. There are reports those two are already married.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
Yes, so this is a good report because they're saying
that they never filed for a marriage license in Venice,
which means they either got married here before they left
for Italy or in a different part of Italy.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
But that's not surprising.

Speaker 6 (07:56):
Yeah, most people do that, Yeah, not surprising.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
So this is all just attentry.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
It's like more ceremonial.

Speaker 6 (08:01):
Yeah, a lot.

Speaker 7 (08:02):
He'll do that because it's annoying to have to do
like legal stuff right in the country.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
Because I'm sure there was a prenup. I'm absolutely sure
there was.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
There had to have been. He gave up a lot
of money in the first wedding exactly.

Speaker 7 (08:14):
They called it a multi million dollar prenup, and I'm like,
shouldn't it be a multi billion dollar prenup? Yeah, but
maybe she's only get in a couple like millions if
they really that's it was multimillion dollar prenup.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
But again, what are they know? Yeah, yeah, it could
be one hundred million.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Yeah, well, you know what, I know, Kigo is performing
at the wedding.

Speaker 6 (08:33):
He has a lot of money.

Speaker 7 (08:34):
I don't I don't know if I would have put
Caigo I would have had Bruno, Mary.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Never guess what there could be some celebrity.

Speaker 4 (08:41):
Yeah, he's just surprises, right. I don't think that's it.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
I'm sitting here thinking you couldn't possibly have a better
first dance, right, everybody's on their feet going up.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
Oh yeah, Ed Sharon could be a great first a great.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Maybe Kanye West if you ain't, no, we won't know,
we will for you. And then there's that which is
probably possible. Uh no, I'm going with Kigo. I'm sorry,
I mean yeah, and everybody's going to perform, probably at least.
A big news in the fashion world, Anna Wintour is
stepping down as editor in chief had Vogue.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
Right, so she's been there for thirty seven years, an
iconic figure in the fashion world. She made or she
would make or break fashion designers. She really did. So
when I saw that, I was like, oh my god.
Now the Double Wars product is was a book that
was written loosely based on her, and now The Devil
Worst product too is coming out next spring, which I

(09:37):
think is the timing of it is kind of interesting.
But Anna's going to stay on as sort of a
global content director for Conde and ass so she's not
leaving the company entirely.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
You think she left to you know, voluntarily.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
Okay. Meantime, the F one movie hits theaters this weekend.
The soundtrack is massive and is a huge part of
Justin's new music Friday.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
Right my man, Oh my god. Someone people on this soundtrack.
Tate McCrae, Rose and Edge Sharon. We had this earlier
this week. It's called Drive. Yeah, the movie is is
gonna be great. I think I'm not a big F one.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Guy, but I'm going yep tomorrow night.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Oh I thought you were going to an F one race.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
No, I've been to it. I've been to those races.
But I'm going to movie to night.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
We'll see you give us the full review. I will
on Monday.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
Also new Today, We had this a tease of this
earlier this week on My Mind as the song by
Alex Warren and Rose.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Yeah, I like that one. What a voice.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
Oh my god, crazy crazy, All right, here we go.
Lewis Capaldi. He's back in a big way. Lewis Capaldi.
He had to step away for the second time because
of you know, health issues. Basically he has to rest syndrome.
You remember this clip from last year Glastonbury, he was
one of the headliners and he, you know, his turet
started to kick in while he was performing and the

(10:52):
crowd finished the song for him. So he had to
step away to focus on that, to get better, to
get healthy. And he has returned. He has a brand

(11:13):
new song out. I Got to give you a warning hair.
It is a tear jerker. The song is called Survive.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
So he's telling his story. Yeah, it's very jelly rolled,
very much, you know. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
There's a really good Don Lewis Dark documentary. I believe
it's on Netflix. That was really good. Just just a
great guy. I remember this one moment Winnie and I
went and interviewed him at the MGM Music Hall and
I had just had this big fight with my son.
He was acting up my son Abel, he's got a
pain in my ass, And so I get there and
we're talking and I happened to mention it about him, like, oh,
my son's up my ass, and he gave some advice

(11:47):
to young Abel.

Speaker 12 (11:47):
Well, Abel, hello to you, whatever you are. You don't
even know the world's going to throw some lesson able.
You keep not listening to anybody except for your father
and just keep it rulling able.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
Good name. Yeah, speaking of having things thrown at you,
he had Tourett's thrown at it. Yeah he did. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:07):
Yeah, welcome back Lewis Capali. I hope that he's got
his health in order.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
Yeah, is that it on the I don't want to
take up all your time, Okay, Now, I just don't know.
I just want to make sure I don't cut you well. No, no,
I'm good. Okay. Meantime, with Brad Pitt out there on
the media tour for the movie F one, his house
was burglarized and trashed. Now there's a bit of irony here,

(12:33):
justin because if you're familiar with the movie Once upon
a Time in Hollywood, Brad Pitt was burglarized in the movie,
and he dealt with the burglars in a very big way.

Speaker 5 (12:47):
Yeah, it was the Manson family. It was kind of
a reimagining of the Manson murders where they actually got
taken out the killers.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
It's pretty brutal.

Speaker 6 (12:56):
If you haven't seen, is that what you guys are
showing me?

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Labor We watched it like three times.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
What's wrong with you guys? It's so early in the
morning to be watching.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
I'm going home to watch the whole movie.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
Ago and then really laughs about it.

Speaker 6 (13:11):
No, they subjected me to it. I didn't want to
see the lawsuit.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
It was Brad Pitt's smashing the burglars aad. Yeah, it
went over. But then it was Leonardo DiCaprio with the
blow torch to the girl in the pool.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
In the pool, Oh my god, okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
You haven't seen it. Yeah, the flamethrower.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Leo's at the wedding, the Besos wedding.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
No, nobody burglarses the wedding. Oh, by the way, Ah,
a lot of bling there.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Oh my god, imagine right.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Yeah, hey, don't forget. Adam Sandler is coming home. He'll
do the TD Garden September thirtieth. Tickets are on sale
two day at noon. Harry Gilmore too arrived July twenty fifth.

Speaker 6 (13:48):
And uh, I love Harry Gilmore.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Did I say, Harry, I'm sorry it's early.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
You were watching those Yeah?

Speaker 3 (13:54):
Oh god, it just threw me. And don't forget. Subway
was a sponsor for Adam sandler original Happy gil Moore movie.
It's in the movie.

Speaker 5 (14:03):
You just sit here and enjoy the one thing that
makes me a little bit happy.

Speaker 13 (14:06):
This fresh, delicious, tasty, meaty, turkey.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
Filled cold cut combo. I eat three every day to
help keep me strong. Someway sandwiches will drive away your hunger.
So starting July thirtieth, Subway customers can make a combo
or meal of the day, a happy gill More meal
for an extra dollar. It includes collector cups. How much

(14:33):
one dollar extra? The price is wrong? Big And the
first trailer for the Springsteen documentary dropped this week. Jeremy
Allen Wright as Bruce. This is not about Tidi one
of us. This is not about the charts. This is
about Bruce Springsteen.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Oh yeah, it looks really good.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Oh yeah, really heavy too, Jeremy Allen. It was on
Fallon last night talking about the reaction so far to
the trailer more.

Speaker 14 (15:04):
Text than one, and I blacked out and won that
Golden Globe. I didn't realize trailers were that big of
a thing. But uh but yeah, I'm breathing easy. People
are really nice about the trailer and and I'm excited
comes out in October and I'll definitely come back.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
All right, good, thank you, there you go. And finally,
Justin Bieber changed his Instagram this week to Little Bieber. Oh,
we got to add him to the list. A little
losing vert man, little pump from Wayne, don't forget a
little YACHTI.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
This is for real.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Yeah, yeah, we'll be little Beabs, Little bab and I'm
wearing a shirt from the place he was married at.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
Ironically, I got that for you at the Bluff, Palmeto Bluff.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Yeah, I got that for you over the.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
Summer, Little little Billy.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Be down there next week. Actually, hello Little the Bluff.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Okay, brought to you by Boston Vision. You're dealing with

I say, always, is your best vision. There you go.
A little belly must already be searching for best. Next

Speaker 2 (16:12):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss One Away Studio.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
We're back with a Villy and Lisa in the morning
on Kiss.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
Is that the kid Leroy with Justin Bieber.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
I have to say that is such a jam that
that song's day is one of my most favorite songs.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
And Charlie Pooth wrote it.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Yep, I think it's spent like three years on the
Kiss Top thirty Coundown. Yeah, and in case you missed it,
Justin Bieber is now Lil Bieber. You called Lil Bieber.
I'm just saying, let's get some talkbacks in Justin. It's
a Friday.

Speaker 13 (16:40):
Hi everyone, This is Melissa from Uxbridge, Massachusetts, which is
a real town. And we also have a great rescue
PAFIC like rescue And I know you all are a
fan of the Doggos and I wanted to share that.
This weekend we are doing a fundraiser at Connected and
Inspired at one thirty eight South Main Street in Milford.
We're doing pottery painting. It's supposed to be thunderstorms, so

(17:02):
why don't you come on out, let them roll by
and paint some pottery.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
We love all rescue dog operators we do.

Speaker 6 (17:11):
It's funny. But you hate pottery making, Well, it's it's
not for me.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
I've done a lot of painting pottery over the years
with the kids.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Yeah, it's nothing you think back at and think I
want to do more pottery painting.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
Well, I still have pieces that I've painted that we use.
I don't I don't know what it is you just basically, well,
they have paint your own pottery to make it. Well,
some places you make it and then paint. In other
places they have them already made and you just paint.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Is this like in the movie Ghost. Yes, that's a
high level of pottery.

Speaker 6 (17:45):
Well, that's making the pottery.

Speaker 7 (17:47):
But a lot of places like Plaster Fun Time or
there's some local places.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
Paint exactly and then they fire it and then they
ship it to you.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
So like if we went to if we went together,
we wouldn't do the whole like Demi.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
Moore, No, we would not be.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
No, you're not going to do the wheel.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
I want to do the wheel though.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
That seems cool, It looks fun, it does well in
the movie. It does. Yeah, because things happen, Yeah they do.
I don't think things happen when you go to a
partery class. Well you know, well you can find out
if you go to this class. Yeah, go support rescue
a dog, Yeah go support Yeah.

Speaker 6 (18:24):
Be Friday.

Speaker 15 (18:25):
It's the Mayor of the South Bend. I know it's
the big Friday show. So I hope you can get
this in. Opening at the Park Plaza Castle in Boston
is a new exhibit called the Moonwalkers and what it is.
It is a total space exploration immersion experience. Say that
five times fast. It's narrated by Tom Hanks. It's going

(18:47):
to be lousy weather, so it might be a fun
thing to do this weekend. Have your great weekend everyone.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
All I know is if it's Tom Hanks on there.
He did The Americas and I still say it's one
of the best series I've ever watched it.

Speaker 5 (18:59):
Well, that's another thing you can do this weekend. Wow,
everyone's full of ideas. Yeah, you know.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
Or you can go to Gloucester, which I'm doing the
Greasy Pole.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
Yeah, it's a big one.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Yeah. Bill will be there ye all weekend long. The
Greasy Pole.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
I've been talking about this all year.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
It's a spectator event up on the North Shore.

Speaker 7 (19:16):
I've never seen a man, so I'm excited about it.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
Hey, justin we all got the invite to your pool.
Send out the address so we can come by. Will
help Jen and plan your funeral since she's probably going
to kill you in half of the world shows up
to your pool. But thank you so much for the invite.
It's pool body, time.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
You sent an open invite to your pool.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
I think I might have said something yesterday that anyone's
welcome in my pool.

Speaker 6 (19:46):
I think on the after show we talked about it. Yes,
I don't know. We are after show podcasting the show.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Come on by. Do you think a lot of kids
have already peed in your pool? Oh my god. At
the party last weekend, one kid asked to use the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
Yeah, it's ironic.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
You gotta check those filters. Well, that's why they make chlorine.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
You just don't want them to poop in the pool, right,
Well that happened last year.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Yeah, and then you have to clear it out.

Speaker 6 (20:12):
Oh my god, pooped in your pool?

Speaker 3 (20:14):
We had a floater?

Speaker 2 (20:15):
Did you make everybody get out?

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Everyone get out? I sent everybody. How did I not
know you had a floater? I think we talked about it.
I think we did a candy bar floating at the top.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
Well, I don't know which kid it was, and I
never want to, like, you know, point them out.

Speaker 9 (20:28):
Yeah, embarrassing, embarrassing thing to parents.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
Yeah, I had to. I had I had to remove
all the children. I had to put so many chemicals
in the pool. It was terrible.

Speaker 6 (20:39):
What if it was your own kid?

Speaker 5 (20:41):
No, yeah, it could have been No, No, no, no, no,
well they were they were swimming and it was just there. Yeah,
they didn't even see it.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
I saw it, which reminds me. Has any of us
seen the poop cruise thing, the number one show on Netflix?

Speaker 2 (20:54):
Have not yet?

Speaker 3 (20:55):
I did watching it this weekend when he watched it.

Speaker 6 (20:56):
I did watch it. It's only fifty five minutes a
quick watch. It just talks about a lot.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Of Yeah, I think that's enough time.

Speaker 6 (21:03):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they gave it.

Speaker 7 (21:07):
Fifty five yeaheah, I just I mean, I honestly never
heard of it.

Speaker 6 (21:11):
I know it happened in twenty thirty.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
Oh yeah, we covered that.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Yeah, it was a news story.

Speaker 7 (21:15):
Yeah, it happened like between Mexico and Texas.

Speaker 5 (21:18):
Well, there was there was a fire or something on
a cruise. They had no working bathrooms.

Speaker 7 (21:23):
Yeah, so basically the fire made all the stuff go
out that they couldn't flush the toilets. They did, yeah,
and then it took a while for them to get
They thought a tugboat was coming, and the tugboat didn't come,
so then they were that long and they had to.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Be and they created Yeah.

Speaker 6 (21:37):
Yeah, they had to poop the bags, right.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
Yea poop cruise.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Yeah, well, you do what you gotta do.

Speaker 6 (21:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (21:42):
Isn't it true that the cruise ships empty out there?

Speaker 6 (21:46):
Yes they do.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
You got to be three miles out, okay, minimum three
miles out, and you could do it on your boat.
Oh yeah, you just flick a switch. Okay, but you
don't you have it okay, all right, just shoots out
the bottom of the boat.

Speaker 5 (22:00):
I don't know what that was, but I came.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
To Billy and Lisa every morning.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
Kiss one. I wait, I think we all have a
bone to pick with the HGTV, because we're getting worded
this morning that HGTV has canceled Jonathan Knight's Farmhouse Fixers show,
which I thought was an amazingly good show.

Speaker 5 (22:20):
Watch it every single Sunday. My wife is horrified right now.
I just told her the news. Three seasons. That's a
great show.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Jonathan went on his Instagram yesterday saying disappointing they've decided
not to move forward with another season. They canceled a
few other shows like Married, Your Real Estate, Bargain Block
and is He Does It? I'm thinking we should try
to get Jonathan on from Monday's show, we said, so,
I'm going to text Joey today, tell him I need
Jonathan's number and let's get him on and offer our
full support and get him on another network.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
They are in Vegas right now doing the residency, so
good luck on Monday.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
Okay, oh yeah in Vegas. You just put a damper
and it was all taken off. Do they have a
show on Sunday night? We have to look it up. Yeah,
off day.

Speaker 7 (23:04):
I think they were doing Wednesday to Sunday or Thursday Sunday,
but I will look it up.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Yeah, that's unfortunate. That's a great show. Anybody listening, by
the way, wants to reach out to Jonathan and tell
them that the billion leads the morning show feels bad
and we're offering our full support.

Speaker 15 (23:18):
Well.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
I always think about, you know, the New Kids when
they came to the TD Garden a couple of years
ago and we went. You know, Jonathan when he's on stage,
he doesn't really do much, does what he can, you know,
you know, support the group, And several times he made
his way over to the stage where we were, yeah,
and he would just stop and just start waving it
Billy start playing.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
He and I hung out a little bit in Scotland.
What I would say with the New Kids Store, but
I cut the show is fabulous.

Speaker 7 (23:46):
They actually have a show today and tomorrow and then
July second third, so they have off Sunday and Monday.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
There we go, all right, So I'm going to reach out, Yeah,
reach out to Joey and get him on that.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
That really stinks. Now, now you might remember a couple
of years ago, Lisa, I know you remember this one.
Remember the show Manifest.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
Oh my god, that was gonna be my show that
that was my pick.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
Oh yeah, it got canceled, it brought back.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
It was a COVID show and then it was on NBC,
got canceled. Netflix picked it up, ordered a fourth and
final season, but I wanted a fifth season.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Yeah, I need to know what happened.

Speaker 7 (24:16):
There's so many good shows and I want like everyone to,
you know, let us know. But that you get that
you really like that, maybe if you don't like and
it gets canceled.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (24:24):
There was this one Netflix called sex Life. I really
really liked it. It had two seasons. It should have
had like four or five. They only had two and
they're not coming back and I'm kind of annoyed.

Speaker 5 (24:35):
Wow, Well, sometimes they cancel shows obviously for poor ratings,
it's not doing well. But sometimes they do well and
they still cancel them.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Well, that's like Manifest, right, it was a fan favorite.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
Yeah, and they did bring that back, which is good.

Speaker 11 (24:48):
Well.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
I just finished the show The Waterfront, which by the way,
I loved and I think Lisa you would love it,
and Justin you would I think maybe not you when
he but anyway, I'm hoping they have another season, so
I'd like to find out. But The Waterfront I thought
was a great show.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
I have to say, when Ozark announced that it was
the final final, I was so sad.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
I think it could have lived on.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
Yeah, but you never wanted to go too far, right.
It's like they try to stretch the show.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
Yeah, and you feel it like the ideas get lame.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
It was like Ray Donovan kind of lost me another one.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
At the end.

Speaker 5 (25:21):
Yeah, that's what happens. I think shows like Breaking Bad
and The Sopranos they ended at the right time.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
Yes, you know.

Speaker 5 (25:26):
Another show that ended despite strong fan reviews was THEA.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
Do you remember that I loved that show?

Speaker 6 (25:31):
No, I never heard of it.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
At twenty sixteen to twenty nineteen, that was that That
one A lot of people were upset up.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Yeah, it was a supernatural show. It was good.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
Let me look at producer Riley for a second. Producer Riley,
is outer Banks coming back again?

Speaker 15 (25:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (25:43):
I think so. Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Yeah, yeah, that's
his that turned about.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Was just there were shows I enjoyed. I'm convinced if
somebody can do some research, I'm convinced that the makers
behind the scenes of the new show The Waterfront on
Netflix are the same people.

Speaker 6 (25:59):
Who they It's a mix of outer Banks in succession.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
So I'd be curious to know if it's the same producers.

Speaker 5 (26:05):
And I mean this goes back, I mean years, right,
I remember the nineties there was a show called My
So Called Life. Yeah, one season, yeah, and there was
outrage when they canceled it. Freaks and Geeks, freaksing gigs.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
Yeah. And then going way back before that, Twin Peaks.
Twin Peaks was a huge show.

Speaker 5 (26:24):
Yeah, they canceled that early as well, but they did
bring it back. So yeah, maybe maybe maybe this HGT
HG TV show can be brought back.

Speaker 6 (26:33):
Well, Billy, why don't you try to get it on nesson?

Speaker 3 (26:36):
Oh you know what, that's not a bad idea. Because
they're still looking for more non sports programs.

Speaker 7 (26:44):
He's a local guy. They do a lot of local homes.
Do I give credit for this idea?

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Yeah, I'm calling over today.

Speaker 5 (26:49):
No, no, this is this could be good because you
helped Jonathan and then Donnie will talk to you again.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
It's a very good point.

Speaker 7 (26:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (26:59):
Now now it's topic time with the Billy and Lisa
in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
Well, we started the topic a few minutes ago on
the show our buddy Jonathan Knight from The New Kids.
His show Farmhouse Fixers was canceled by HGU TV, and
we really loved that show and it was a very
popular show. And after three seasons, why did they let
it go? We need to find a new home for
Jonathan Knight's show Farmhouse Fixers. It's a really good show.

(27:28):
So it begs the question, have there been shows you
were disappointed or crushed when they decided to cancel them?
And justin you'll get talkbacks already.

Speaker 16 (27:35):
Yes, on that topic, where is Ozark? I want Ozark back?
It's not fair Netflix. I feel like I lost a
piece of my soul. And then there's a few others
that I loved.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Which like Bloodline and I can go on.

Speaker 6 (27:48):
But Ozark hit hard.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Yeah, me too. I mentioned that one. I just I
loved that.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
Show, Joe, But I think that's different than canceling too early.
Shan ran several seasons that wrapped the whole thing up,
but didn't end so much on a cliffhanger.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
Yeah you know. But you know what's interesting about Bloodline.
If you go to Netflix the homepage, Bloodline is still
very visible on it, so you can still watch Bloodline.
But we've all seen it.

Speaker 4 (28:12):
But you're right, though, I think it's it's when a
show has a natural path to an ending. Sometimes that's
the best because it leaves you wanting more.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
Yeah, but Billy, you would want Bloodline back? I think
I would. Yeah, be on your knees and you beg me.
Classic scene. Yeah, oh my godod show.

Speaker 6 (28:33):
Danny never seen it.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
Oh yeah, it takes place in the Keys.

Speaker 6 (28:37):
Oh cool.

Speaker 7 (28:38):
Yeah, that's the list of things I'll probably never watch.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
I love the woman who played the sister. Oh yeah,
she was.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
She ended up being dead to me.

Speaker 7 (28:48):
Oh that's another show that I can't say too good show.

Speaker 6 (28:53):
That was a really good show. They could Well she's sick,
I know, I know that's right.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Who was at Applegate. Yeah, and that other always that's the
girl from brother blood Line.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
What is her name?

Speaker 6 (29:03):
She's in so many things and I never remember.

Speaker 3 (29:07):
Sometimes you know something's coming, do you feel.

Speaker 6 (29:12):
It in the air.

Speaker 3 (29:14):
You don't sleep at night and voicing your heads telling
you there's something's gonna go terribly wrong. There's nothing you
can do to stop it.

Speaker 5 (29:22):
Yeah, when you let go of one of your ridiculous
reality and watch Bloodline, it's about you.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
It's about a family that owns a really nice hotel
and the keys okay, and things go astride.

Speaker 6 (29:37):
I just started watching Your Honor, so I'll add that show.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
Yeah, that's a good show.

Speaker 9 (29:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 17 (29:43):
For Billy, they're filming the final season of Out of
Banks right now. I live in Charleston and they're filling
in and around Charleston to create If Billy hurries up,
he becomes for the weekend, maybe you can be extra,
have a great weekend.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
I'm gonna be in Charleston to be an extra on
the show.

Speaker 6 (29:59):
I'll look for you drive by.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
I will.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
So that means there is another season on the way
about it?

Speaker 6 (30:04):
The last one? Yeah, there's one more.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Who's that Alison Klein?

Speaker 7 (30:09):
Who No, Madison clin and then Chase Jokes, who's a
thirty five year old playing as an eighteen year old.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
Well, it's not as bad as Stranger Things.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
They're playing like teenagers.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 12 (30:22):
I am still so upset that they canceled Designated Survivor.

Speaker 11 (30:26):
It was picked up for a few seasons on Netflix
and it was just so good, and.

Speaker 6 (30:30):
I don't know why they wouldn't keep that going.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
I never saw that good good.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
That was Keiper Sutherland and two seasons it could easily
be like eight.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
It was so good. I never saw that either.

Speaker 5 (30:41):
Keeper Sutherland was in here for an interview months and
so I was producing and he was supposed to be
on in five minutes. We're like one minute out and
he's missing, and so you guys like you need to
find this. So I run outside the radio station and
he's outside ripping a butt.

Speaker 3 (30:56):
I'm like, you're on right now.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
He came in in cowboy boots.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
Yeah, and he came in alone. There was no entourage,
there's no pretense, and he's just sitting out there winning
to come on. He was actually, he was one of
the nicest people we've ever held out.

Speaker 17 (31:07):
Yeah, he was really nice, so nice, good morning, everybody,
It's Lucy. The show that was canceled that really really
bummed me out was The Following with Kevin Bacon. It
was so good and I really really wish they would
bring it back and finish it off.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Have a great day.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
I did watch the Following. I forgot about that show.
That's a good watch. Oh I did watch this, yes? Yeah,
Oh my god. Wow. Kevin Bacon is so good. Right,
everything he plays, he's really good. Oh, City on a Hill. Yeah,
he plays a good guy, he plays a bad guy,
whatever it is, he's excellent. Yep.

Speaker 17 (31:40):
There was a show out in twenty fifteen called Wayward Pines.

Speaker 6 (31:46):
It was two seasons and it was so good. I
was so sad it was canceled.

Speaker 3 (31:51):
Yeah, never heard of it. Wayward Pines sounds like a
Winny show.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
Kevin Bacon was just in Sirens. Remember we just talked
about Sirens.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
Well, he played the billionaire. Yeah yeah, yeah, did I
watch that?

Speaker 2 (32:02):
You did?

Speaker 3 (32:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (32:04):
Billy has this weird thing about him where he watches
something and then forgets it instantly.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
Instantly, and yet I'll remember something from forty years ago.
It's got to be a name for that type of me.
And I always remember that. I always remember the movie
or the program, but I never remember, like I'll forget
the ending an hour later.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
Yeah, you watched six seasons of Breaking Bad? Yeah, and
didn't remember any of it.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
I couldn't tell you right now how it all ended
after you asked me, Lisa, he finished the series finale
and then asked me what happened.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
But I think it's actually more common because we're all
binging these shows, and it's different than watching it from
one week to the next week, where you like think
about it.

Speaker 6 (32:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
I don't know because if the same thing happens to
me too, Sometimes I'm like I just watch them, like, well, what.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
Was that about?

Speaker 13 (32:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (32:55):
They all missed meshed together. All I know. Justin is
the guy that played Jesse and Breaking Bad? Yeah, what
else has he done? Because he was amazing Aaron Paul Yeah,
not a ton, see, not a ton amazing actor. Yeah.

Speaker 10 (33:10):
When Home Improvement with Tim Allen and tool Time was canceled,
I was absolutely devastated that I had to buy one
of the seasons on DVD, which is definitely weird.

Speaker 6 (33:21):
But do pull that out every once in a while.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
Yeah, Improvement, Tim Allen.

Speaker 6 (33:25):
Guy, it's so funny.

Speaker 7 (33:26):
I just saw they were saying they would never do
a reboot because the guy next door died, like the
neighbors he died. And then obviously the three sons Jonathan
Dela Thomas doesn't act anymore. Then the older one has
gotten like arrested like four times for like domestic violence.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Like, who's the guy from the show that's always doing
commercials in a tool Richard something? Yeah, Richard carn Yeah, he.

Speaker 6 (33:48):
Hosted Feeling Feud for a few seasons too.

Speaker 10 (33:52):
Well.

Speaker 5 (33:52):
You know Tim Allen was a snitch, Yes, you know
what right, Yeah, before he was an actor. He got
caught with a ton of cocaine and he snitched on
the people he was, you know, working with, and they
let him out.

Speaker 6 (34:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
That was in the late seventies I think, and then
he became a big actor. Now that I know that,
I want to go back and watch the show Improvement. Yeah,
he's old on everybody.

Speaker 18 (34:11):
One show I was so devastated when it ended was
Kingdom with Joejo. All the characters in that show were amazing,
but I wish they brought on another season.

Speaker 6 (34:24):
So good it was Nick Jonas.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
Yeah, I would go back and watch that over again. Oh, Lisa,
you you would love it.

Speaker 6 (34:31):
Nick. We had what's his name in the show, Jonathan Tucker.

Speaker 5 (34:34):
Yeah, yeah, there was a little bit of an incident there.
Jonathan Tucker, who's from here in Boston's it was in
that show. Yeah, that show is old. I mean it's twelve, yeah, seventeen.

Speaker 6 (34:42):
Yeah, I don't think it's that.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
It could be yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (34:44):
And so he came in, you know, a year or
two ago, and Billy kept asking him about this show
so much so that Jonathan was like, Billy, the show's
like eight years.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
I didn't care. I didn't care because I had just
watched the whole series and he was amazing at it.

Speaker 7 (34:59):
But I think I haven't seen it, but him and
Nick I think played brothers. And then he was in
Nick's wedding.

Speaker 6 (35:03):
Yeah, I mean Nick got married like probably seven or
seven eight years.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
And now Jonathan Tucker texts me all the time. Me too, Yeah,
he's coming to town. He text me where he's going,
what he's doing? What am I up to it? Do
we want to hook up? Jonathan Tucker is my friend.

Speaker 5 (35:17):
Now, he promised. Remember he made news because he was
a harrow. There was a home invasion in his neighborhood
and he ran across and saved somebody's life, his neighbor,
and he was on TMZ. We reached out to him
and he's like, listen, like I'm not a hero. I'm
not going to go on and gloat about this. But
the next time I come to Boston, I will come
in and I will tell you the whole story.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
So we're waiting on that. And I love that he
did that. He didn't want to gloat. It wasn't about
him being a harrow. He was just doing the right thing.

Speaker 6 (35:43):
It's so funny. The biggest gloater in the room doesn't
loves them, so doesn't gloat.

Speaker 9 (35:47):
Imagine if Billy was a hero, all we would be
talking about a year.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
He'd be on WBZ TV with you read story.

Speaker 6 (35:56):
I could have died. You know, you know I sacrifice.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
I forget about the victim. I could have died. Let's
go to Chelsea and Weymouth online one. Hi, Chelsea, come on,
what do you got what show?

Speaker 8 (36:10):
I Miss Ravens would It was a spinoff of Pretty
Little Liars. It was on after Pretty Little Liars. It
was for the more adult crowd that watched and it
was like a horror show. It was on ABC Family
for one season and now it's not even on streaming.

Speaker 6 (36:23):
Never heard of it.

Speaker 4 (36:25):
Wow, it was so good.

Speaker 9 (36:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (36:28):
It was about this preacher who like possessed a town
and they were all stuck in like the nineteen twenties,
but anyone who came into town it looked like real time.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
But I should bring that back.

Speaker 8 (36:37):
Yeah, I'm saying. Pretty Little Liars had three different spinoffs,
and this is the one that only got a season.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
Okay, I can't have my wife walk into the room
and I'm watching ABC Family. You know a good Yeah,
I changed the whole atmosphere.

Speaker 6 (36:51):
Of the house.

Speaker 7 (36:52):
Oh see you rather watching you watch Outer Banks for
the forty seven times.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
I'm sorry, Outer Banks. It's a classic television series. You
know what, tell Wennie how you really feel.

Speaker 18 (37:01):
Would you please kindly yourself and leave me alone.

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
