Speaker 3 (02:17):
Okay, now it's Gina. Okay, so now it's Gina. Hold on,
let me hear that.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Hey, I just want I'm saying Gena even great this
week on the show.
Speaker 8 (02:24):
And like a small Italian sub loaded with extra hots.
Speaker 9 (02:28):
Good day guys.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
Oh, I'm telling Riley that I want a sub.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
I know that you have to say small Italian.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Yeah, yeah, that's a good way to describe you though. Yeah,
small Italian sub with extra hots, extra if it's spicy.
Speaker 5 (02:44):
That's let's go to my Instagram.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
What do we have?
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Now we have Joanna, right, Georgia, have Georgina.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
I'm right with Georgina there.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
And now we have Gina is too. It's Gianna.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Yes, it's taller twenty five. It is Caroline in and over.
Good morning, Caroline, good morning. So give me the keyword cool.
I it's a little cool up there and.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
And over right now, right, it is a little chili
at dake Care drop off.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
Right now we're bundled up.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Drop off of off.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Mom.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Oh yeah, all right, so you have a pair of
tickets for the jingle Ball now, but you qualify for
the grand prize, which could mean for front row tickets
and one hundred and eight thousand dollars.
Speaker 10 (03:40):
This is amazing.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Are you winning the drop off line right now?
Speaker 11 (03:45):
I literally my kids are in the car and I'm
like shaking.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
I've never gotten through before, so this is so excited.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
Pay attention, pay attention, exactly.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
Thank you, Caroline, hold on, don't hang up. Oh god, wow, yeah,
I was thinking about the name thing. So the boss,
so Gianna, the Boss hates when I start to play
songs of names. Oh hates it, hates it. So I
obviously I did the Gina and that's funny or whatever.
And then I was like, Caroline, no, don't.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
Do it, justin, don't do don't do it. Oh god,
I'll get the email lated today.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
From the boss.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Can you please you don't play.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
A song for every single name? Okay, okay, Boss, I
got it.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yeah, And Lisa, hey, if you're just waking up, but
the US government is opened again. Everybody's heading back to work,
paychecks are going back out for everybody. It's like it
never happened. Well, it did well.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
The history.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
The Transportation Secretary said this weekend would have been the worst.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Yeah, so they were dialing it up and now they're
dialing it down. So that's good news. Patch jets out
at your Lette stadium tonight, Patriots looking for eight wins
in a And another bit of news, the penny, as
we know it is gone.
Speaker 12 (05:07):
See a penny, pick it up all day.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
Long, you'll have good luck.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Well. No, the US Mint printed its final pennies yesterday.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
It's sad.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
Yeah, because it costs more to print it to make
it than it's worth.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Four cents to print a one cent penny.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
So they're losing money every time they made a penny. Essentially,
this has been going on for years. Same thing with
a nickel. The nickel is next by the way to go.
How much does it cost to make a nickel?
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Oh you had to ask.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Oh, it's definitely more than five cents, I assume.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Yeah, so it's all costing money. And here's the thing.
Don't you get like weirded out when somebody gives you
coins in cash, like I don't know what to do with.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
It, like the change especially Yeah, h Now, Gianna, do
you use cash or do you just use like Apple pay.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Venmo mainly Apple pay Venmo credit cards. Yeah, I mean
I rarely get cash, me too, but I do like
the chunk of change in my apartment.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Oh you have to change job.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
You have big jar change.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Yeah, yep. But the pennies. For a while, it was
just a penny. Even if you were at a convenience store,
they had a little dish there that you put the
pennies in because they knew nobody wanted the pennies.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
Well, it's leave one, take one. You're supposed to leave one,
and then if you need it, you take one.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Oh really, I thought you just left them because what
are you going to do with them?
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Yeah, well if you have you have a short on change.
I mean, it doesn't really apply anymore, but you take it.
It says leave a penny, take a penny. Oh okay, yeah,
I thought you were going to say you.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Just take it.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
But now it's coins in general. Like when I get home,
I don't know what to do, Like, what do you
do with them?
Speaker 3 (06:34):
I'll take them, give them to Gianna her piggy bank.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
They add up, it adds up. I love going to
coin star.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Yeah, yeah, I do all coins. I stopped ause, my
son Alex would just steal them and kept right then
without my knowing it.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Yeah, I was, I was known to do the same.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
But yeah, so this is causing a big issue, and
especially in food food businesses like McDonald's for example. So
they don't they don't give pennies anymore. They just they
give change back. They round it up to the nearest nickel.
That's what they did. Yeah, and some of these places
are rounding up and some are rounding down.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Yeah, so essentially they could be losing money.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
And some are stopping taking cash altogether. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
So my question is are pennies gonna be worth money? Now?
Speaker 1 (07:15):
They're saying that the final pennies printed will go up
for auction. What Yeah, But I mean if you've got
a giant, you know, Belmont Springs jug of pennies, how
are you going to sort which ones are worth something
and which ones aren't.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
You can actually look at the dates on pennies and
you very likely could be holding pennies that are worth
a lot of money.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Yeah. Do you know how hard that would be to
go through a jug full of pennies?
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Well, you'd have to have the time to do it.
Speaker 4 (07:41):
But if you fast forward ten twenty years and you
have these pennies. They could be worth money at.
Speaker 5 (07:48):
Some point, so I won't go to the coin star
save them.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
I would say, save them.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
And I'm telling you they're saying the nickels next. They
don't want the nickels anymore, so, I guess than the dime.
Speaker 4 (07:58):
I mean, look at eventually, eventually there's going to be
no more cash. It's going to be all cashless everything.
I mean, eventually they're gonna try to put chips in
all of us. They'll be a driver's license is like
you know, you'll they'll just read your chip and they'll
know everything about you.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
I saw a story yesterday they're starting that with passports.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Yeah, it's coming.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
You're not You can have your passport right in your phone.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
And just yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
This reminds me though of a story we had in
our Weird News segment a couple of years ago of
the dad who delivered his final child support payment to
his ex wife and pennies.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
I'm not kidding.
Speaker 11 (08:31):
A Virginia father paid his final child support payment to
his ex in pennies, eighty.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
Thousand of them moved up to his ex's house. Here's
the video in a rented trailer to dump all of
the pennies out on the lawn.
Speaker 11 (08:44):
He explained it was the result of eighteen years of
built up frustration.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
The video is actually incredible. He rented the trailer. He
just pulls up to the lawn and empties eighty thousand
pennies on.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
The front lawn.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
What an icon that's called keeping a grudge.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
Yeah, yeah, I love.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
Nobody, yelled from the truck.
Speaker 11 (09:08):
E Liza.
Speaker 7 (09:09):
Now the entertainment updates with a Billy Gobstead on Kiss
Away and again.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Lisa's got the day off of this morning in Gianna,
or as I like to call her, g Unit is
uh in the big chair. Good to have you here, hon,
Thanks for having me. Hey. Patriots are looking for their
eighth straight win Tonight Pats and the Jets Thursday Night Football,
Prime Time out at your Leech Stadium tonight. Gronk was
back in town yesterday signing that one day deal that
(09:35):
basically lets him retire a New England Patriots.
Speaker 6 (09:37):
This means a lot to me, big time because I'm
a I'm a New England Patriot.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
I'm a Patriot for life.
Speaker 6 (09:44):
My career started here at need it to end here.
There's no doubt about that. I mean, the whole Gronk persona,
everything about myself was all because of you guys, was
all because of the fans here in New England. It
was all because of my teammates accepting me, I mean,
and everyone else here, you know, just accepting who I
was from the very beginning and embracing me and letting
(10:05):
me just play the game.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Of football out on the football field.
Speaker 6 (10:08):
And everything established about my football career began here here
in New England as a Patriot, So it was an
absolute no brainer to come here and retire as a Patriot.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Yeah, Gronk such a good player. Craft had this question
for him.
Speaker 7 (10:23):
Since we play the Jets tomorrow night, how about a
two day contract?
Speaker 1 (10:28):
O kids? Nothing shit? Yeah, right away with a signing bonus.
Got to go Gronk.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
Remember, Gronk famously did not touch any of his salary
that he made as an NFL player.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
He only lived on his endorsement money.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Wow. Refused to touch a dollar of his salary.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Does the same thing?
Speaker 13 (10:51):
WHOA?
Speaker 4 (10:51):
He deferred like six hundred and eighty million of his
salary and he lives off his endorsement money because he
had a seven hundred million dollar contract.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Wow, I wish I was smart with money and I
just spend it. I like to spend it.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
That's what you do. G Unit. There she goes, there,
she goes spending again.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
Why would he be here, There's no way.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
And then he got his coffee and he turned around
and walked right by me, and I looked and it
was Ben Stellar.
Speaker 1 (13:14):

Speaker 3 (13:15):

care of my health to the highest level, and I've
never felt better, and I look incredible. I feel great,

Speaker 1 (16:27):
How about this skims The Kim Kardashian brand is a
five billion dollar company. Now they want to expand internationally,

a suspended sentence. Oh yeah, so they got he also
had like an illegal vapor or something on there. But
he's already output. How's that for fitting?
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Wow? Got locked up? Yeah, baby, it's a misdemeanor.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
Yeah, it's a boy acon.
Speaker 5 (17:12):
A and I'm hanging out with my man Billy Costain.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
Got that right?
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Is he still wear a little hat? A little hat trademark?
Was a little hat?
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Really? I think you just made that up.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
No, I'm telling you look it up and you'll find
acont hat.
Speaker 5 (17:27):
Can I fact check this?
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Really?
Speaker 1 (17:29):
And while you fact check, producer Riley gave me a
story off the air, right, Taylor Swift might be on
Good Morning America tomorrow.
Speaker 13 (17:37):
So yeah, so she was going to be world premiering
in the trailer for the End of an Era documentary.
But we can't figure out if she's gonna be there
or if it's just going to be like the trailer,
but I hope she's there.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
Well, that'd be a score for ABC if she just
does that show. But the trailer anyway, will be featured.
Speaker 13 (17:56):
Yes, I'm very excited for this documentary.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
And just announced yesterday there will be a season three

Hat on one hat.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
You're talking about somebody else.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
I'm not sure who it is because he's bald. He's
been bald for a long time. Yeah, unbelievable by the
way he speaking of all the more reason he should
wear a hat. He has a nice head, I mean,
if I don't say so myself. But I want to
add too, Nobody Wants You just mentioned Nobody Wants This.

to fitting carpeting, especially along a staircase or a curved wall,
cutting and binding it perfectly. Oh my, It's like a
well made suit. Not just the material. You need a
good tailor of carpets. And that's what you'll find at
dover Ruggenholm and Native Boston, Burlington and doverrug dot com.
(19:15):
And there you go.
Speaker 13 (19:23):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios, we're
back with Billy and Lisa in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Hey guys, so welcome back. If you know us at
all as a morning show, the Billy and Lisa Morning Show,
although Giann is in Lisa's chair again this morning. Gee hey,
but if you know this show at all, you know
that we're totally into trends. Who's more trendy than us?
So now there's another one. People are apparently traveling around
the US based on what the food is. They're called
food vacations or food cations. Okay, here's the problem I
(19:54):
have reading further into this trend.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
Okay, well, hold on, Bill before you go forward. Ga,
do you actually have an Instagram page about food and
how much you love food?
Speaker 5 (20:03):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (20:04):
I can food? Is that what you do?
Speaker 12 (20:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (20:06):
And then I worked on Dirty Water TV on Nessen
as well, doing mainly food Steff food stuff.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
I love food.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
So this is right up your alley. Yes, okay, go ahead.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
According to this poll two thousand Americans, twenty one percent
have planned a trip just for the food. Seventy five
percent research where to eat before they pack their backs.
Now that's all well and good. I can see that. Oh,
you know they're supposed to have fantastic food. What's the
first thing you hear when somebody mentions Italy? Oh my god,
the food. The food is in Centi Greece. Oh it's fabulous.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Here's the problem I have because this list was prepared
by what I think is the laziest person on earth.
And here's why. Number one in the list, Okay, for
a food vacation Philly, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Why you got to
try the Philly cheese steaks?
Speaker 15 (20:54):
Now?
Speaker 3 (20:55):
Yeah, what's wrong with that?
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Now, if you own a restaurant in Philadelphia, do you
want your entire identity to be based around the Philly
cheese steak sandwich.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
I mean, that's the thing, that's what they're known.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
You can get it anywhere.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
It doesn't taste the same. I disagree. I had a
cheese steak from Philadelphia.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Do you think there's not a better Philly cheese take
anywhere in the country unless you're eating one in Philadelphia.
Speaker 4 (21:17):
It was pretty good. But I do know some good
steak and cheeses around here.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
Okaychik and cheese. This was a real stretch for them.
They said Chicago, Oh the deep dish pizza. Oh, no way, Okay,
it was invented there. See this is a very touristy thing. Yeah,
I mean, I mean cities across America. There are some
cities known to be great food cities. Boston. Here's my frustration.
The city of Boston has fought for more than fifteen
(21:41):
years to get credit as a food city, okay, competing
against New York, in Los Angeles and Chicago, and they've
done it.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
Okay, do we have a list? Is what number is Boston?
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Boston is seven on the list. Why the lobster role, Now,
there's so much more here than the lobster role.
Speaker 7 (22:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Yeah, but isn't Maine more known for the lobster role
than Boston?
Speaker 1 (22:04):
Funny you should mention Maine is on the list at
number nine. Try the lobster roll.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
Oh wow, wait, so they both.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
Maine has beautiful restaurants scattered all over the beautiful state
in the coastline of Maine. Okay, you can do more
than a lobster roll in Maine. Uh. And Gianna, what
do you see there on the list?
Speaker 2 (22:24):
I mean in California you got In and Out Burger,
of course, which I went to school in California.
Speaker 5 (22:28):
That was the big thing.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Okay, can I can I pause you there?
Speaker 13 (22:31):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (22:31):
I went to California one time, San Diego for an event,
but the reason I really wanted to go was In
and Out. Oh my god, it was the second reason.
The first was the event. But my next thing was
we need to go to In and Out and let
me tell you it was fantastic.
Speaker 1 (22:45):
Okay, I've been there. Okay, I'm not going to get
on a plane, pay the airfare, pay for a hotel
for a couple of nights so I can have a Hamburger. Okay,
California has some wonderful food.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Gianna.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
Yeah, let's stop right here. Okay, you're sitting next to
him who does a food television show. For all he
does is tell people to eat. That's all he does.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Asian a lobster specialty.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
Oh my, that's what he does. You're the food guy.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Here's another stretch. Boy, this person really didn't do much homework.
If you travel to Louisiana, try the gumbo. Okay, really again,
invented there, invented there. There's more to Louisiana than just gumbo.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
Okay, Gianna, Would you travel to a city for the food,
that's the question.
Speaker 5 (23:31):
Yeah, indeed, indeed I would.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
As a food lover, I'm definitely in that seventy five
percent that says that they research where to eat before
going somewhere. That's the one thing that I yeah, I
do for sure.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
What about New Orleans?
Speaker 1 (23:46):
You really should try the red beans and rice, a
hardy traditional dish right out of New Orleans. Yeah. I'm
telling you, I could go on and on. This list
really aggravates me. Here's the point I want to make. Okay,
if you have friends traveling here to Boston nor any
other major city known for its food, or its restaurant
or its culinary scene, Okay, do some homework. Scope out
(24:10):
restaurants that have opened over the past five years versus
the last forty. If you're coming all the way to Boston,
you can skip Fanuel. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
Oh well that's a hot take, but I agree. Yeah,
well that's what that's what they do. That's what the
tourists do, you know.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
Okay, it's on the Freedom Trail.
Speaker 4 (24:28):
I know that I'm guilty of this. When I've gone
to other cities. I go to the place that's well
known that all the tourists go to, you know, like
in Philadelphia, I went to the Rocky Statue.
Speaker 7 (24:39):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Oh, I ran the Rocky Stairs.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Yeah, Iah, Yeah, that's what you do. You know. For us,
it's not really that that cool. But if I'm going
to go to a city it's known for the food,
I'm going to eat that food to see if it's good,
Like in Philly.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
Yeah. Yeah, but you want to try the food. You
don't want to just try what it's known for. You
try somebody like here's another stretch for our little writer here. Uh,
if you go into Maryland, you know what trying the crab? Okay?
Speaker 7 (25:06):
Is that?
Speaker 3 (25:06):
What is that? What they're known for? Yeah, is the.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
Crab Chesapeake Bay. Yeah, Maryland crab.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
See. I would try the crab in Maryland.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Okay. I can tell you if you want a really
good crab roll, go to Luke's Lobster.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
Yeah. Have you had luke Lobster?
Speaker 5 (25:20):
I have not yet. I was just gonna.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
Er and you know they've got a great lobster. I
mean I could do. And you know what, I'll give
you another hot tip if you have friends or relative
traveling to Boston, Okay, and you want to know anything
at all about Boston. Uh, just check out Meet Boston
and nessa God nine Saturday mornings. You just use that
(25:43):
Jilly Lisa all the morning. Justin talkback leftover, let's go there.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
Yeah, this is a segment we do every day around
this time where people that join the show throughout the show.
But you can leave a talk back anytime. You can
do that on the iHeartRadio app. You join the show
by leaving a talkback, is what I'm trying to say,
and I play them back here as best as I
can now. Remember now, Jianny, you wouldn't know this, but
a few weeks ago we got to talk back from
someone recommending a new hot Young Sushi chef. Oh, yeah,
(26:13):
that was blowing up Cafe Esque Drill. Yeah, and we
gave him a big shout out. We'll have an update
here if you'd like to hear it.
Speaker 15 (26:18):
Hi, guys, hang back. As a follow up to me,
he's calling in about oooh the sushi chef over at
Cafe es the Drill. Apparently the shadow on your show
brought a lot of people in and the poor guy
is tired.
Speaker 10 (26:31):
He's so talented and shy, but now he says, you've
got too many people asking him for his creation. So
maybe you can put a challenge out there to find
him a partner to go in there and help him out.
Speaker 15 (26:42):
The poor guy is tired.
Speaker 7 (26:44):
Have a good day.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
Yeah, he's an artist.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
Yeah, we're glad we could help.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
I want to go.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
I want to go too. It sounds like one of
the creations are incredible.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
Yeah, and it's your cool place. Cafe Esque Drill has
been there forever. And the bar is a great scene,
great place to meet people, hang out and have yourself
a nice drink with the sushi is right at the
end of the big bar and he stands there and
he's got a sushi station right there. You watch him.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
I love that though.
Speaker 4 (27:06):
You know, she leaves a talk back to give you
innocent shout out, and now he's so busy he can't
even keep up.
Speaker 5 (27:11):
That makes me so happy.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
That's the power of radio.
Speaker 5 (27:14):
I'm just saying, good morning, morning crew.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
It is your favorite nurse leaving night.
Speaker 8 (27:18):
Shift who calls at seven ten and eight ten every
single morning trying to win tickets.
Speaker 7 (27:23):
I need to ask the clarifying question, do I call
when you say the magic keyword or when you say
call her twenty five?
Speaker 5 (27:31):
I just want to make sure that I'm.
Speaker 9 (27:32):
Doing it right so that I'm really getting my chance
in there.
Speaker 5 (27:36):
All right, have a great day everyone.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
It's a good question.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
Yeah, you call right when Billy starts to solicit gives
you the keyword, he gives you the phone number. Once
that happens, you can start calling, and then producer Riley
will take caller twenty five. It's not easy to win.
We only have so many lines and so many people
are calling. It's very hard. But if you don't try,
you don't win, right, Gianna, Exactly, you gotta try. We'll
(28:00):
do it again at twelve ten and then at three ten. Yeah,
and four ten and four ten. Jianna and then tomorrow
morning seven ten and eight ten again, but don't give
up all right. Earlier we were talking about Ben Stiller.
He was on Found last night talking about Ariana and
Meet the Fockers four. I mentioned I saw Ben Stiller
in Boston. Billy said, does he have any connections here?
Ben Stiller?
Speaker 6 (28:20):
Good morning?
Speaker 7 (28:21):
So quick follow up to your Ben Stiller encounter Justin,
Billy is right, his parents do have a connection here
to New England.
Speaker 11 (28:28):
I actually watched the Stiller.
Speaker 7 (28:30):
In Mara documentary he has on Apple TV, and they
own a home on Nantucket and that's where they're both buried.
Speaker 8 (28:38):
Actually, so maybe he was there doing something with that.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
A great day that's still and mirror his mom and dad.
They had their room TV show for a while too. Yeah,
and I knew they were local. I just forgot whether
it's the Vineyard or Nantucket.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
Yeah, well it's Dantucket, asked and answered.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
Good morning.
Speaker 7 (28:55):
This message is for Justin.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
Just want to let you know Jim.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
And is talking highly about you, how you've been helping
them out.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
Well, this is a first I have to write down
this day jamming down the hall, our sister station talking
good about me. All they do is trash me right now,
this will be my friends. This is this is a first.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
That's great to hear.
Speaker 10 (29:13):
You know, even though that you guys are competitors, you know,
you still keep it friendly and help out and want.
Speaker 15 (29:20):
People in your Actually, I heeart media to succeed.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
So have a great day, justin and keep helping out.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
Well, first of all, we're not competitors, because could kick
my ass s goot me in the hall and take
me down in about two seconds.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
Yeah he is.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
He has gotten quite fit myself. But yeah, we're all
one big family, happy family. We try to help they're
down somebody, and you know, I'm doing my best to
help out. I'm all about it. I'm all about the
hip hop. I started on jamming, you know that.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
I knew that.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
That's where I started as an.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
Intern no less.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
Yeah, well I was on parole, but they were the
only station that would take it in.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
Well, all you could get was an internship if you
were on parole.
Speaker 13 (30:01):
Kids one way, it's the morning wrap up on Billy
and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
Yeah, So my friend was at my house last night.
He's dating, you know, he's single, and he was talking
about this Facebook dating. How it's better than hands, better
than tender. He's having major success yes, on Facebook dating,
and I could not believe it. But apparently this is
a real thing.
Speaker 14 (30:21):
Online dating is the equivalent of slamming your hand in your.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
Car door over and over.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (30:28):
But Facebook dating is where I met my fiance and
we get married Saturday in New Hampshire. Love you, Dominique.
Facebook dating the only one I would give a try.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
I've been getting married this weekend.
Speaker 3 (30:44):
They met on Facebook dating.
Speaker 5 (30:46):
That's amazing.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
Yeah, I could not believe it. My friend he was
showing me all the matches, you know, because they use
AI right and they and they scour Instagram and Facebook
your profile and match you with other people similar profiles
and apparently it works.
Speaker 8 (30:58):
I'm just saying Facebook is so weird. I actually okay,
I actually met my fiancee on there and we also
have a two year old. But before I met him,
I saw this guy on there and he was dressed
as a baby. Hit his a diaper on and it
was it was a kink, but dang, it was so weird.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Said the guy was wearing a diaper.
Speaker 3 (31:22):
Yeah, he had the baby.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
The baby fetish the diaper spot in Actington New Hampshire
where men have this weird thing where they want to
be dressed up as a baby.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
And treated as a baby. I do remember, not my thing,
but it is what it is.
Speaker 11 (31:36):
Hi, guys, love your show. Just talking about Facebook dating
has me laughing in the car. This is Sarah from Chelmsford.
I met my now fiance on Facebook dating, was about
to delete all the apps and we are going to
celebrate our two year anniversary and got engaged less than
(31:58):
a year after we met.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
By the success ratio, seems awesome.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Yeah, it sounds pretty good. Listen. If you're single and
not on Facebook dating, apparently you are missing the boat. Yeah,
that's what they're saying, and it was good to have,
you know, Gianna sitting in for Lisa and producer Riley.
You know Riley, I mean Johnny, you met your boyfriend
on a dating appamily met on Hinge and producer Riley
is single but on Hinge, you know, And they were
both saying, how you know it looks are important at first,
(32:24):
you know, because you want to match with them. Looks
like yeah, you know you want that to be that
kind of attraction, you know.
Speaker 13 (32:29):
Ladies, Thank you, thank you, thank.
Speaker 8 (32:31):
You for throwing that out there because I really thought
I was like I thought. I thought, I think I'm
really pretty, and the people that liked me, I was
just like.
Speaker 11 (32:42):
No oh, no oh, no, I'm not as pretty as
I thought.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
Thank you guys for saying that.
Speaker 8 (32:47):
I feel a little bit better. And yes I am
on Facebook dating and nothing really so far, but we
shall see.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
I keep trying.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
It's amazing. It's working for like everybody.
Speaker 4 (32:58):
Yeah, I tell you, I was blown ay, So thank
you everybody for checking in for joining the show.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
We appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (33:03):
One more thing, we did wrap up The Golden Bachelor
with Riley Donovan. That's Lisa's son. We've been covering it
all season long. And if you're wondering, yes, Mel picked Peg.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
Good for him.
Speaker 12 (33:13):
All of this Golden Bachelor talk reminds me of a
poem I wrote called Peg.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
The hook in your.
Speaker 12 (33:19):
Hand and your wooden leg, they don't make a difference.
I still love you, Peg. Your two glass eyes and
your plastic arm should cause you no worry. I'll guard
you from harm. I love the blonde wig on your
metal plate. I'll call you at five. We'll have dinner
at eight.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
Okay, we'll see you tomorrow morning. It's the Big Friday Show.
