Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's get this thing going here. Winnie, how are you
good morning?

Speaker 2 (00:02):
I'm good.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
I'm good. I've been here with you for the last
seven hours.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
I miss you already.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Well, I'm in a different studio, so yeah, weck you.
I love it so much.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
And I love those two, but sometimes I end to you.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Well, it's anybody that you're in a room with for
that long, it's gonna get on your nerves in some way.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
The Billy banging is is really it's my thirteenth reason.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
He's a drummer. Yeah, I know, I remember.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
That, especially when I have a headache or when I'm
just like not in the best mood. And you know,
our job, it takes a lot out of us emotionally,
so like we might be having a bad mood off
air and then we have to get it takes everything
in you to be happy on air and then in
commercial to have Billy yep, like shut the fuck up.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Okay, Well, welcome in everybody. Billy and Lisa in the
Morning present a behind the scenes look into Boston's favorite
morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
That's a little too much information to say, guys. The
after show podcasts.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Just in Oh God, a turkey toss Tomorrow Winnie and
then Thanksgiving four days off. But the problem with me
is that, you know, weekends are a time where you
can quote unquote catch up on sleep, which usually they are,
but sometimes you have weekends like last weekend, where I
didn't sleep good Friday night or Saturday night. So then
Monday comes and I'm like so tired, a little bit tired.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Like, we'll talk about our Thanksgiving weekends tomorrow, let's talk
about today.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Today, we're talking about what do you mean?

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Can you I'm on my floor right now.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
I know what you're talking about Thanksgiving, but you were
saying it's a four day weekend coming up, so I
thought you're gonna talk.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
About no, no, no, no, no, I'm talking about me
being tired.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Oh okay, well that's your life.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
The Thanksgiving is whatever. I'm going to a family's house
and going to eat food and watch football. That's it.
I got no other plans. Now back to me being tired,
because this is important to me. Yes, So when you
don't care, you don't get all the sleep that you
need on the weekend, then Monday comes and you're like,
you know, really tired, right, So then you try to
go to bed and get a good amount of sleep
Monday night, and I didn't get a good sleep last

(02:02):
night either. So my point is that I'm really running
on fumes doing the best I can. Am I doing? Okay,
You're great? Am I doing? I'm getting things done?

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Get it all done.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I try to really, you know, really focus in when
the show is on, you know, at work, I should say,
And then when I leave, I completely like shut down,
you know, which is really hard too, because when you
have kids, you know, you don't want to be the
dad that's always tired, that isn't going to like, you know,
play with your kids on the floor. Yeah, you know
what I mean. You don't want to be that dad.
You don't you don't want to be that dad. You
want to be like present, although it's so easy to

(02:34):
be like, you know, I'm tired, I'm busy, you know. Anyway,
it's up with your dog? No picture? Yeah, it's it's
like unbelievable. We do a whole break on your dogs.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Because you're not in my close friends. I put it
in my close friends. I guess you're not in my
close friends.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Oh okay, I see what's going on here. I'm not
hating your close friends. Wait, who is in your close friends,
like thirty.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
People like who like everyone that you know? But not you?
Well no, okay, I'll like right.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Now, what what? Why is this? Is there a reason why.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Why you're not in my close friend?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (03:12):
No, I guess I didn't realize that you weren't in
my close friends. Who are my close friends? Riley's in
my close friends?

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Wow, this is unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
My sisters, my brother, my cousins, Oh, Becks is my
close friends?

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Okay? This is this is a from Zoe? Isn't who
doesn't even work here anymore? Is in your close friends?

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Yeah, doctor Joe.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Yeah some of my friends. Yeah, okay, but not you.
You want me to add you?

Speaker 1 (03:43):
No, no, no, it's okay. I don't want I don't want
to be in your clothes.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
I'm now I just added you.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
No, actually I do. I just n follow you.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Oh, shut the fuck up. No, it's really just my
fear of the building. I'm sorry. That's it's not her
dollars a year, it's not.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
It ends up being nine hundred dollars a year, and
just to have the dog there when there's dogs all
over the building.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Okay, they're paying the nine hundred you don't know that
right now, there's a dog fee But if.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
I wasn't who I was, right, yeah, and I had
a dog.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
In there, the Queen of Quinsy, right, and I was
just chilling right, nobody would know. But because I'm getting
penalized because I'm Boston famous, fuck that.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
No, I don't think that's why I'm afraid.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
This is the thing is the girl, one of the
girls follows me from the building office.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
She's cool, but I don't know how cool we are,
and I don't want to find out this way.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Okay, So I'm like, if I hide her from my stories,
that's one thing, but I can't hide her from my posts.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Okay. But the other issue is that we talked about
it on the show. So listeners want to see your
new dog.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
He's beautiful, isn't he.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
I mean I saw a picture of him, but you
know people want to see the dog. Wait, so I
can't play the talkbacks that say where's the dog?

Speaker 3 (04:55):
No?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Play it? Okay, not right now, but on the show
A show, Yeah, because you know where Big dog Show,
Big Nuts Show. I gotta do it.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
I gotta buy the ball. I should just hide her
from my stories and post them on my stories. He's
so fucking precious. It's kind of just like I just
like to keep them to myself for a little while.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
No, you just don't want to pay this seventy five
dollars a month.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
That's a lot.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
I pay twenty four fucking thirty five for rent. Then
you want to add another seventy five dollars on?

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Aren't you afraid the dog is going to bark too loud?
One day? I mean, you did Instagram Live and there
was a dog barking in the barking.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
He was playing with this chew toy. It wasn't marking.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
The person heard the dog with the chew toy someone
to talk about. It was I was.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Speaking the bag. I have a small apartment.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Okay, you know what I mean. Okay, I gotta make
sorry I'm interrupting you.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
I was looking in the other studio here at the
engineer here. Yes, he's trying to I know, I need
him to go over the board with.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Riley because I'm like, she wants me to. But I said, oh,
there's a different bene for turkey toss it's the same.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
We have turkey tosses tomorrow, So we're gearing up for it.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Let me text her toss your turkey, toss, toss your turkey.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Yeah, speaking of turkey toss when I eat tomorrow seven
am is ways so you can watch it or listen
to it. You can come down and see us. M hm.
So it's kind of hectic down there.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
So Bro, I'm already getting nervous.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
I'm not nervous, okay, because we've done this so many times,
but we're working with a smaller crew than normal because
we just did some but we just did some cuts.
We don't have a lot of people working on the
marketing side. And before he should give me the list
of the schools and who was going to be tossing
and throwing and catching and all that, and I could

(06:28):
write it out for Billy and Josh and it's like
on que cards.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
But now I have to do it middle of this show.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
In the six am while we're on air, okay, and commercials,
and that's just like not something I should be doing
while we're on air, is writing down.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Queue cards because we only really have three breaks. Then
we go outside.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
It's going to be a hoto.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
You were on the email, if you saw I you
on the email I saw it and they're like, no,
it can't help you. I'm like he should have been
like telling them. He should have told them, I need
your people. And there might be one or two that
like ends up, someone didn't come, someone was sick, and
someone replaced some morning up. That's an easy fix. But
if to do thirteen Q cards, yeah whatever, just get
it done.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
I will. I always do.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
But yeah, you don't strus.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
So there's no lives right during anything, there's.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
No lives I hold the lives. Lives are all all Today.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
All I need is Billy's Entertainment sponsors, which is Wilson Farm.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
That's it. That's it. The news that run the news.
He'll do here and then he'll do it, you know
at six am regular and then we'll rerun it at
the eight o'clock so you'll be good. So Turkey Toss tomorrow?

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Is it Wilson Farm tomorrow?

Speaker 1 (07:28):
I don't do. I look like the spots person.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
I'm just going to bring it because it's Thanksgiving and
it's like Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
I'm sure it is. I'm sure it is. Yeah. I
think that's it for today. It was a good show.
You can go listen. There was some addressing of the
Boston dot Com Maddie article from Billy and Lisa. A
little bit, yeah, a little bit. I mean we talked
about it yesterday. I mean, it's just time for people
to move on. I understand that people want to know

(07:54):
so bad, but it's a personal issue and I get it,
you know, I get it that people really want to know,
and I also get the people to sides on it,
you know. But there was a great comment I saw
where and this really summed it up, and it was
like a legendary career, like one of the best to
do it of all time. No one will ever do
what he did. He retired right, and now there's a

(08:15):
new show, which was always the plan. And for the
people that they have to choose sides, like, it's not
that big of a deal. You know. If you do
not like our show and you think our show is
soft or not funny or whatever you think it is,
that's fine. You do not have to listen. There are
plenty of other shows this podcasts you can listen to,
and that's okay. We want you to listen, obviously, but

(08:37):
if you don't, that's okay, you know, and if you do,
we appreciate it, and we love you so much for
doing so. But it's a different show. That's one. And
so then the need to tell people and write things
that are hurtful, right, it sucks. And the other part
of it is that Billy and Lisa never hurt anybody.
They never did anything. And it really bothers me to

(08:58):
see especially Lisa so upset because she's when I say like, oh,
Lisa is an angel. What I mean by that is
like she doesn't hurt anybody. Yeah, she minds her own business,
you know what I mean. So to see her upset
people calling her names bothers me, you know. And this
is a new show. That's how it does. It's a
big change. That's it. That's it. That's all it is,
you know. And you know, if Billy wants to reveal

(09:19):
what happened, he ken.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
I'm proud of him for saying anything, because you had
to understand, for the last two and a half years,
they've talked to us privately about their feelings and about
you know, where they stand on certain things and how
they don't really love the public perception.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
But they've chosen to just stay take high.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Road and let Matt have his retirement and you know,
go off into the sunset when you know they could
have not so yeah that you know, people get you know,
I don't know anyways.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
Yeah, that's all. And you know, I wish that it
would just kind of go away and the focus, like
I said yesterday, would be just Maddie's unbelievable career, his
hall of fame, his everything he did in radio, which
is crazy. But you know, there's no need to throw
shots at at other people.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
We didn't do anything, but I.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Said, I will tell you every fucking detail for fifty.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Oh my god. Okay, that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Ryan from ry Am dying Yeah by me.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
All right, Well that that'll be it. Turkey toss tomorrow.
We'll try to do a quick one after Turkey toss
to say goodbye before the holiday.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Turkeys toss your turkey.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
I like how you wait until the end to start
saying thank you.
