Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, friends, welcome in is the After Show podcast.

(00:02):
It's a Friday. I cannot believe it. I did five
straight days of the after Show. Some days I did
by myself, and other days I had special guests, speaking
of which McCabe was the guest yesterday. I do have
a guest today. Don't talk yet. I'll explain this person
in a minute. But it was really great to have
mccab on. I got a lot of good feedback on him.

(00:23):
You know, a lot of people don't know much about
him and his backstory and all that. We kind of
poke fun at him, but he's actually a really successful,
really cool, really smart kid.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Good morning, Justin. I just want to let you know
how much I appreciate all the hard work you're putting
into the after Show. You're doing a great job. I
know it's not easy. Also, I want to say how
much I loved having McCabe on. Please have him on again.
His voice is soothing, It was great conversation. Plus I
love to hear the background of his real name and

(00:55):
why he chose McCabe. All right, have a good weekend.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
All right, well, thank you for that talk back. We'll
have mckaybe on again. And he he mentioned during the
podcast that he would come back, and he has a
bunch of audio from when he was a young teenager
on the air when he used to call into the
radio station, and he promised he would bring it on
and play it on the after show even though nobody
has heard that audio, so you will be the first,

(01:19):
and we'll ask him about his name where he got
I know it, but I'll let him tell the story.
So my guest today, So this is an interesting one.
So if you listen to the show this morning at
nine and ten, we had Giana on because Gianna will
be sitting in for Lisa next weekly. This is going
on vacation, so I brought you on it on the
after show and we're going to explain why.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Good morning, Gianna, good morning.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Of course, of course, so I wanted to have you
on just to say hi. You're very cheerful and you
make me feel better. Thank you, even on rough days.
It's been a long week, very busy, so thank you
for that. You're a very chipper person, by the way,
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
I appreciate that because I've been called hot headed, which
is like the complete opposite.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
So well, yeah, I'm sure I spend enough time around
you and the same with me too, right, But Lisa
is going away. She has vacation time that she wants
to use that she's never used. Every year, it just
goes away.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
Yeah. Yeah, our days sadly don't roll over.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, so she's using this time to take a break.
She's obviously very busy. Had her had a tough year
or whatever, So you already planned to sit in for her,
like months.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Ago, months ago. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
So you know, obviously with the changes and Whinny being
laid off and all that stuff, you know, people might
get the wrong idea that like, you know, you're moving in.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Yeah, it's just not the.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Case, correct, And I was afraid of that honestly. You
know people say things on social media, but like you said,
this was planned months and months and months ago, and
I'm going in fully aware this is not my territory.
I'm a guest, even though I'm filling in for Lisa,
Like this is your your shabang. I'm just there.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
I remember the meeting we sat in back in August.
Can I put my feet up there?

Speaker 4 (03:00):
I was like, get cozy.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
I like to get comfortable. That's my thing. On the
podcast now I.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Get I love it as you should.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Yeah, well, when when he was here, she used to
sit across from me. Yeah, and there was a computer
screen there. I should have had her sit there.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
I don't know. I didn't like, why would you sit there?
I need to see you we're having a conversation.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Well, she gets kind of animated and aggressive sometimes, so
she used to scare me a little bit.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
But I'm just kidding. Love you, whie.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
But yeah, So I remember the meeting when they said,
you know, Lisa's going to be out in November. This
was like in August, and they were like, you know,
we're gonna have Gianna sit in because Mikey would sit
in for Billy.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Right.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
It basically just fills that role of the amount of
people on the show.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
And without Lisa, it's you and Billy.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Right.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Of course, producer Riley's there.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
But I'm glad you brought that up, Okay, because I'm
sure people have the question why isn't producer Riley talking more?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
The answer to that is this, Riley is fantastic.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
I love her, fantastic, so amazing at her job, but
she hasn't been long enough on the air to you know,
she'll get there eventually, but to just throw her in.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
There, you know what I mean? You know, I mean
you're on a show. Yeah, so you get it.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Yeah, I'm still learning that. I've been on the air
with the v Bros For almost four years an now,
and I'm still learning things and how to speak properly
and how to do a show. I mean, it's like
it's a big machine. It's a monster that you have
to learn. So yeah, to throw Riley and I think
that would be unfair to her in a way.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
And she's getting her taste right. She does the Saturday
morning show. Yea, she does the pre show at five am. Yes,
she'll be doing the traffic.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
She's so good.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Yeah, she's really really good.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
And you know what's funny about you. I was thinking
about this yesterday. So I remember when Mikey was doing
the afternoons okay, and then I think they added Frankie
right before getting you. Yes, okay, So then he had
wanted to add a girl and then he got you.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yeah, right, you came in.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
We can talk more about that, but I remember you
can ask Mikey this. I would listen in the afternoons
and your mic was super low. You could I couldn't
hear you. Yeah, I used to get angry and upset,
and I'm like, Mikey turned her mic up, thank you,
hear her?

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Thank you?

Speaker 3 (05:07):
You know.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
So then eventually he turned the mic up and I
could hear you. And now you know, you sound nice
and clear.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Thank you, which is crazy because I'm also so loud.
So the fact that you couldn't hear me, that just
goes to show out the microphone was But also, like
you know, the MIC's in the main studio, they're a
little finicky. Yeah, especially with our program, like one mic
will be super low even though it's turned up super high.
We've put like help tickets and it's been a whole journey.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Oh I love that.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Yeah, you got to put tickets in a ticket and
you pray that an engineer will see it and will
help you.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Oh yeah, that's a whole other thing.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
I could go on and on, or I know, I
know one more thing, or or you find an engineer
and then come and you tell them.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
And what's the first suggestion that they have. Do you
know every time.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
Did you put in a ticket? They said to us. Yes.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Second one though, is did you restart the computer?

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Did you restart the computer? And then we had to
restart our computer in the middle of the show one time.
It was probably the worst mistake we've ever made. I
think we went off the air. The computer took hours
to restart. We almost couldn't get a winner for the
jingle Ball Jackpot. This was actually a few weeks ago.
It was awful, awful, So we'll never take that suggestion.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Restart the computer. Okay, thank you?

Speaker 4 (06:17):
That crazy?

Speaker 3 (06:18):
How much are they paying you to say that? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
That's crazy. So you do afternoons with the v bros
Every afternoon. You're from Revere, Yes, okay, I believe you've
told the story before.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
You DMD Mikey or you saw him at events. Yeah,
to be on there.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
You grew up listening to kiss, as did I. Yeah,
it was always your dream and then eventually it worked.
Does that sound right?

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Yeah, that's the long story short. I grew up in Revere,
Like you said, I went to college for broadcast journalism
out in California. I went to Chapman University and right
when I graduated, it was it was twenty twenty, So
I was that unfortunate class of twenty twenty that never
got a full senior year of college or a real graduation,
and to graduate wanting to go into the entertainment industry,

(07:02):
and then having COVID happen where everyone that was on
you know, e news entertainment tonight, they had layoffs during COVID.
My professors literally said to us like, good luck, because
it was already hard enough to get a job in
this industry, You're probably not going to get a job.
That's exactly what they said to us. And I just
remember moving back home. I lived in Lynnfield at the

(07:23):
time with my father, and I would just cry, literally
every single day, cry and cry, go on LinkedIn, indeed,
look for a job, cry, cry. And at one point
I interviewed to be a FedEx driver because I was like,
there's nothing else for me to do. Boxes yeah, I mean,
I mean, I was really into fitness at the time.
I'm like, wait, I love lifting because that was one

(07:44):
of the requirements. I'm like, I'm a small girl, but
I can handle my own. And they make a ton
of money because again it was COVID. All anyone's doing
was ordering things. So I was like, I literally remember
sitting in the interview and they're like and then maybe
you know, you could be six figures driving cross country
as a truck driver, And I'm like, am I really
going to be a truck driver? After I went to
four years of broadcast journalism school with a dream to

(08:07):
be in the nent like and no, no, like dig
to truck drivers. They're they're great. They keep this world
moving exactly, they make a great living. But I was
just like, after everything I'm working for and like dreaming for,
I'm not doing that. So then I worked on movie
sets because all the movies were being filmed here.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
You worked on movie sets?

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Yeah, I did. As a PA. I was doing the
you know, Leonardo DiCaprio and wants his door open.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Cool open?

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Okay, so what what what's like celebrities did you work on?

Speaker 4 (08:35):
I worked on the movie Don't Look Up. That had
every celebrity Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande
was in that movie. Every celebrity ever was in that movie.
And they filmed it here in Boston. Yeah, and I
was was actually a COVID PA. So on top of
running getting coffee, opening doors, I had to be that
person that was like, excuse me, mask over your nose,

(08:56):
please please, and people would get so mad at me. Yeah,
so mad at me.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
I remember that movie. I didn't like it that much.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
Me neither. And I worked on it. Oh yeah, And
I didn't know if it was because I was like
traumatized because I had to be at work at two am.
Some days I didn't sleep. I would do seventeen hour
shifts in the freezing, freezing cold. I remember I got
frostbited on my legs one day, like my pants like
stuck to my thighs. It was crazy. It was so cold.

(09:26):
So I was like, maybe I hate the movie because
I'm traumatized. Yeah, maybe, but or the fact that you're
saying you hated it too, Maybe it was.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
I did not like the movie. Yeah, I thought I
had high expectations for it. Yeah, didn't live up to
what I thought.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
It was going to be.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
No same. But the best part was being on set
with Leonardo DiCaprio Arianna, She's my favorite human here talk
to them no And the day a she Ari was
on set for a week and everyone gave instructions to say,
keep Gianna as far away from arian as possible because
I everyone knew that I loved her. And I probably

(09:59):
should not have made that known. But one day I
finagled my way close to her and they actually dropped
her off at a wrong door. They were supposed to
drop her off on the opposite side of the building.
I was stationed on the other side of the building.
They dropped her off on my side of the building,
and she was like, where do I go? And I
was like, I literally like.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Froze of, Like over here was she by herself?

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (10:20):
She's by herself. I'm like no, because usually they get
a handler. Yeah, but something went wrong where they just
dropped her off and she was alone, and then her
handler came running like at her, and I guided her
in the right direction. It was like the best story.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
And you're a huge face.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
I have thank you next tattooed on my arm. I'm
planning on getting probably another one. I have a wicked tattoo,
but mainly because of the musical, not so much the threat.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Right, But and you got tickets to all two of
our shows through all.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Three, and a lot of people want to punch me
in the face. It's insane. I know it's insane, and
I have no money, Like.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
But you bought the tickets. You didn't get them through
the radio station.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
Correct, I bought them because, of course a perk of
the job is getting tickets to content. But when it
comes to Ariana, I didn't want to gamble on the
station giving me tickets because sometimes the tickets have not
been in the front row, which is fine, but for Ariana,
my favorite human, I need to be close, like I
want to see her nostrils. Essentially.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
I was at the last Ariana Grande show. Yeah, I
got tickets through the radio station and I was right
up front.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
Oh my god, it was.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
It was a really good show.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Okay, you lucked out with that one. Were you there
at the Sweetener tour?

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Right?

Speaker 3 (11:29):
It was a Sweetener? Was it thank You next?

Speaker 4 (11:32):
Or maybe I think it was a Sweetener tour?

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Okay, Yeah, it was really good. It was a good show.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
It had that big stage that went like at the
catwalks and.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Like an es So I was like right there.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
In that year, I was jobless. I begged my father
for tickets and he cheaped out on me and I
was like in the rafters, but I was just happy
to be there, honestly, like regardless, but this show, I
was like, I don't care what it takes and how
much it is. Even though I don't have the money,
I'm spending the money exactly. Yeah, but I'm this is

(12:01):
why I can't talk, because we straight away from what
was happening.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Yeah, so you worked on movies. I worked on movies radio.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
I then worked on Dirty Water TV on Nesson with
Julie Fairweather. So that's an entertainment night live show on
nesson Late at Night. Mikey did that back in the day. Yeah,
Mikey and Mikey had said to Julie, you know, are
there any girls that might be interested in working at Kiss?
And Julie knew that I loved Kiss. Went away and

(12:30):
Julie asked me if I would be interested. She didn't
even say a position. She didn't say what it was.
I think she actually did say like social media. And
I was like, yep, like tell them to call me
right now. And she put us in touch. And it
was supposed to be like a street team position, and
that's exactly it was supposed to be Street Team. Then
it was supposed to be social Media. I didn't have

(12:50):
a clear title at all. I just got hired and
then essentially thrown onto the air with the Vibrosa and
then the vibros and Gianna was born. That's literally how
it works. But I would always see Mikey out at
clubs because he was a big club guy. His now
wife Kelsey worked for Dirty Water TV. So I'll never forget.
We had to shoot at one ten grill right down

(13:11):
the street when we were doing Dirty Water TV. Mikey
came to pick up Kelsey like totally, like didn't want
to talk to anybody, just wanted to pick her up
and go home. And I was like, Mikey, I'm Gianna
for damning you, like I please, like psychopath And I
was like, I know I can work for kiss, like
please just keep me in mind, like, don't forget about me.
And then so when they needed a girl, then I.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
You know, in his brain you were memorable.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
Yeah, which is great. I'm glad my stalking paid off.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Yeah, and it really has. I mean, look, I mean
you guys have really built something in the afternoon. Yeah,
you know, Mikey and Frankie and you. Which is interesting
because if Frankie's in California.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
Yeah he is, that's like a little not even It's
like an unspoken thing on our show, like it's obvious
if you follow Frankie. You see Palm Trees. He has
a morning show in California. But the way our show sounds,
you would never no, you never know, never know. Yeah,
And you know, it's so crazy to think about too,
because again, going on four years with the v Bros,

(14:10):
I've only met Frankie in person, like I think four
or five times.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Oh, probably jingle Ball Kiss Concert.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
Ringle Ball Kiss Concert, Mikey's wedding, Frankie's wedding. Yep, that's
like it.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
I worked with Frankie, Yeah, yeah, in the morning on jamming,
that's right, for about a year. Yeah, and before that
I was because he tracks. Does he still track weekends?

Speaker 4 (14:28):
Frankie tracks so many shows that I'm Frankie is the
hardest working human I have ever met in my entire life.
And like now that he has a baby, this man
does not sleep. Like he's a very I'll sleep when
I'm dead. He does work. He doesn't complain. If someone
was like, hey, I need you to track kiss went

(14:49):
away like all day, twenty four hours for the rest
of the year, he'd be like perfect, great, awesome, Like
he I applaud him. I said to Mikey yesterday. I'm like,
I will never be Frankie Vie.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
I can think about this for the people listening, right,
so take you behind the scenes. He gets to work
in California, San Diego probably at three am, correctly, right,
and then when he gets to work, he'll track some
stuff for other.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
Stations, for other stations across the country, and then he'll
do his morning show, and then he does a news
show out there, Oh TV hit kind of like Billy
and Lisa do. That's what he does out there. So
he does that on top of getting there tracking, prepping
all all.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
That wall he does the morning show, and then he
does the afternoon show here here via you know, zoom
or whatever exactly.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
So this man's doing at least twelve hour days every
single day.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
So wild, it's wild.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
And again I just I have nothing, like I just
praise him, like he's so crazy and Mikey's so hard
working too, and I'm like thankful that those are the
two people that are teaching me my ways, you know
what I mean. I'm like, yeah, I'm in the best
hands possible. And we operate so well together. Like I
hang out with Mikey, I was with him last Saturday.
Mikey and I are like a family, Me and Frankie too.

(15:59):
I'm sure we would hang out if he lived here,
Like I've stayed at Frankie's house when I went to
go visit California. Like they really are my brothers, like
what you hear on the air when they're like two
brothers and their best friend, Like it's it's true. We
don't like shut the mic off and be like bye.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Yeah, Mikey's one of those dudes that And I'm sure
you can agree with this. So I feel like everybody,
most people, even if they're well liked or not, you
could say you could find one thing that's like someone
doesn't like about them.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Yeah, I've never heard a bad thing about Mikey.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
There's nothing bad to say about Mikey. He's he's one
of the best humans I've ever met in my entire life.
I mean, he got me my job here, like I
owe him my life, and like even if I've made
a mistake, he's never gotten mad at me. He helps
me out, like if I'm going on vacation, like handling
the show, I do vice versa for him. Like he's

(16:50):
just such a good guy to everybody in his life,
I think, and I think it's you know, the way
he was raised.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Yeah, mommy family.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
She's fantastic. Big frank their dad, who has since passed, Like,
I wish I met him because the way that Mike
and Frankie talk about him. I'm like, that's why you
guys are so awesome, right, Yeah, I love them.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Yeah, absolutely. So you're doing good. Yeah, you're doing good.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
I'm doing amazing.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
Yeah. And so you're gonna sit in next week with us.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
I've been sweating over it. I'm not gonna lie. No,
I don't. I think it's I think it's honestly because
this is the show that I listened to when I
was a child, and I and I can't believe it.
I'll probably cry at some point, not on the show,
but like when I go home, because it's it's mind
boggling to me. How did I get here?

Speaker 1 (17:31):
I know I get that too. I mean I used
to listen growing up as well. So the chances of
me ever getting here we're slim to none. So that's great.
But it'll be fun. We'll we'll have a great time.
You know, it'll be really cool. So you're sitting in
for like entertainment and topic time can't wait, and I'm
gonna have you send me some stuff about your life. Yes,
we can get to know you better totally, you know,
and you know you're gonna, you know, sit next to Billy.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
I can't. I can't believe it. I know. Today he
said I need to step up my fashion.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Yeah, he's such a broad, he's such a broads So I.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Could because I wear sweatpants every day. I'm also in
this thing called a faja right now because I got surgery.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
So, oh, you're still on the wrap, so I have
to wear.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
It twelve hours a day. But it's still yeah, it's
it's horrible.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
I wore the wrap.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
Yeah, oh, so you understand I.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
Had breast surgery.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Correct, so you know, but I'm in like a full
body like pantaloon like oh, like one. It looks like
a leotardo. Oh it looks like a wrestling suit actually,
So I have to wear that twelve hours a day,
especially when I'm bloated. So the only things that fit
me over it are sweatpants and it's a hoodie. So
that's why I wear every single day. Yeah, yeah, no,

(18:38):
but that was so I love him he's so funny.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Yeah, he's the best. So you'll be in next week
for Lisa on vacation. We're looking forward to it. Thank you,
so thank you, and you know it's gonna be So
this is the after show where we can like talk
about like real stuff that.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
We can say on the air.

Speaker 4 (18:53):
Force and you can swear right, you can say fuck
if you Oh that feels so good.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
Yeah, you just let it out right.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
So the way this is all working out is like unfortunately,
people are going to like tune in and be like,
you know, obviously Winnie was part of the layoffs, which sucks.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
That's a whole I'm not going to keep beating a
dead horse. It sucks.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
But they're gonna hear you and be like, wait what
I know, And they have to understand like this was
already in motion, you know, you know what I mean.
You know you're not here to take anybody's job or
Whinnie's job. You're sitting in for Lisa for a week.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
That's it.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
That's just like Mikey exactly. That's all it is, exactly.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
So please limit the hate.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
Yeah, I definitely I was telling you off the mic.
I let those comments get to me even though you can't.
You really can't, and I need to learn to ignore it.
But just go easy on me.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Yeah, today I said on the air, I was talking
about the Starbucks cups.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
Oh yeah, and I said, I think I said they
had bought in.

Speaker 4 (19:49):
Oh god, it's over, it's over mediate talkbacks.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Yeah, you're supposed to be a professional radio broadcaster.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
Oh, motherfucker. I used to live on the street and
shoot heroin. Okay. I used to sleep on the Boston Common.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
I'm sorry, the grammar police, what okay?

Speaker 4 (20:07):
Is crazy?

Speaker 3 (20:08):
Like?

Speaker 1 (20:08):
There were times, okay, there were times when I would
be so dope sick. I would finally get money to
get fucking heroin. I would get it and I wouldn't
have water to draw up in the syringe, so I
would bend down to the puddle on the street in
Boston and sunk the water up with the heroin and
shoot it into my arms.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Just sorry, okay, I said Boughton.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Okay, I'm sorry. This is the after show. This is
where I can let it out the show.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
My god, I'm doing my best.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
And don't you wish that you could? I know on
the talkbacks because I see them too. People's contact information
is there?

Speaker 3 (20:42):
I see.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
I don't know if some people are aware of that.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
I see.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
Do you ever wish so bad that you could just
call them and say exactly what?

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Sometimes? Sometimes you tried doing a radio show. God, I
dropped out of school in the ninth grade.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Also wake up at what to three o'clock in the morning,
like God, just break So I said something to but
on the air yesterday I couldn't remember, like the TSA.
We were talking about the airport nonsense, and I said
like flight tracker person. And I'm sure people were like,
what a dumb bitch?

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Probably yeah, probably, Ever one thing you should know about
me as much as I love everybody, I love you
and everybody that if you flub I will record it.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
I'm ready and I will play it back. Oh, I'm
ready for it.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
It's funny.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
I can't wait, especially because I'm gonna be so tired.
I'm sure I'm going to stutter and say nonsense, Yeah,
I do it. To Billy, You'll have plenty.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Lisa doesn't really mess up that much. He actually speaks
pretty well. Billy speaks very well, but he messes up,
of course. And then Winnie, of course, I had montages
if I'm messing up, so just in Forwis that all right, Gianna?

Speaker 3 (21:39):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
