Speaker 1 (00:00):
Whennie, I am looking at a box of Girl Scout
cookies right now. My favorite kind. They are the Caramel Delights.
Do you like these?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Can I have one? Oh? No, you can't.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
I can't, but I'm going to bring them home and
I'm going to have them on Sunday, which is my
cheat day for the week. My son's birthday.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Oh, his birthday party's on his actual birthday this year.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Yeah it is. It's on the nineteenth and we're having it.
So I'm saving my cheat and my cheat for there
because we'll have pizza, all my friends will be there.
It's going to be great. So I'm going to save
the cookies for then. Then hopefully they make them at
my house, but you know they love them. But yeah,
gotta give a shout out to the Girl Scouts who
dropped off these cookies. Her name is Meredith.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yeah, sweet little girl. Nice to hear her. Do that.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Did you meet her?

Speaker 2 (00:43):
No? No, they I don't think. They dropped off at
the door, and like told Ryo, I was there.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yeah. So we played a clip this morning, first Thing
of a girl who is selling Girls Scout cookies, not
the girl who dropped the cookies off, a different girl
out in Wooster who was plugging. You can go listen
on the podcast for that if you're out in that area.
But a different girl left to talk back and said,
I'm dropping them off, and she did. She dropped off
like ten boxes. Billy venmode for the cookies and I
have a couple of boxes, so I have the Cameral

(01:09):
Delights and the peanut butter sandwich.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
I had a few thin Mints. They were good.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
I'm not a big fit thin mint.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
My favorite one. They don't have anymore, so it's a
thank you one.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
They we're a chuck get rid of it for a reason.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
You know it was delicious.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
I'm just kidding. It's funny that your favorite, your favorite
one is gone gone. That's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
She's gone.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Anyway, Welcome everybody to the after show. The Billy and
Lisa show just came to an end. Whinnie and I
are here. We got everything done that we were supposed
to do. And today when he is haircut day, I
know I was gonna say that day pumped. When I
don't get a haircut for a week, it's a weird thing.
I don't know. See when he when I when I
when I actually got money? Yes, right, not that I'm

(01:51):
rich or anything, but when actually, Okay, So how I
define money to me because I don't I'm not rich.
Is not living paycheck to paycheck?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (01:59):
That is a big sign of I think how you
are doing in life for me, I'm almost there, You're
almost there. I'm not there yet, but forever I could
not do it. I ended up reading a book by
Dave Ramsey. He's a money guy, money expert, and he
lays out all kind of a way to save one
thousand dollars. That's what you wanted? Do you want to

(02:19):
save a thousand dollars that you can put aside you
don't need it for anything, and then it goes up
from there. So I was able to do that using
his tricks. And now you know, I don't live paycheck
to paycheck. So that's good, you know what I mean.
It's really hard. It's hard to save money.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
It's really hard, bro.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I'm just I'm doing this new thing where I'm trying
to have a certain amount of money always in my
checking account. That's my first goal, you know, And then
the next goal is to keep putting more money in
my savings.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Yes, because I want to be able to have a
certain amount of my.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Checking that when my rent comes out, I have money
still left to Yeah, because there was a time last
year where literally my first check of the month was
the difference of like one hundred dollars between me and
then I had no money in my checking.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Yeah, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
I went through some dark times where I had no money.
You know. I infamously spent ten thousand dollars on sneakers
on a credit card one year. Yeah, and it got
to the point where I had no money to even
pay my rent.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
I'm not in. I'm just not in.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
We know where you want to be, neither am I No?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
I know, I know, but I mean we're in different
parts are lives. You're married with kids.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
One time I was at the mall. My friend Chris,
and I really wanted a Michael Jordan jersey, like a
real one, which they're expensive. So we're in the mall
walking and I look into a store and I see
a Michael Jordan throwback jersey, and so I go, let's
go walk up to it. Take it off. It's beautiful.
I look at the price tag. It was four hundred
dollars for a jersey, and so I go oh, I
got to put it back and we walked out and

(03:44):
he said to me, he goes, you want to know
a life lesson? You know how you know if you're
bawling when you don't look at the price tag. Yeah,
that's funny. It's funny. Joe Rogan has a saying where
he says that how you know you've made it in
life is when you go out to dinner and don't
look at the prices on the menu.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Well, that's like Billy. Billy has no idea what anything costs. Yeah,
he'll be, oh, how much he has to breakfast?

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Seventy enough?

Speaker 3 (04:06):
And I'm like, yeah, twenty bucks. You know, like he
has no concept of what anything costs.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Yeah, well he has money. He's worked a long time.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
I know we'll get there.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Yeah, I mean he's been Billy's been working three jobs,
three jobs plus for forty years. So you build up
a little scratch there, you know. But can I ask
you a question, because I just had a stoner moment,
even though I don't get high, Why did I bring
up the money thing?

Speaker 2 (04:31):
You were saying that able yes birthday and then you.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Cheat, man, cheat mal right?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
I know?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Why did I bring it?

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Back.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
That's weird then about having money here, checking account, not
being it's weird.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I know I had a point. I've been halfway through,
halfway I don't know. You know what's funny is there
are people that are going to be listening to this
and they're going to be yelling into the inn. You
were going there justin?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Where were we going?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Where were we going? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
I mean I can listen, but that's to do it.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
It's too much work. It's too much. You just got
five We just did it on there for four hours.
I did five hours.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Give you a little show before.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Okay, it's not a little show. It's the pre show.
It's the it's the rewind show.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
It's five to six, it's the rewind.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Yeah, that's where people you get caught up.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
It's great. I'm proud of you. Have your own little
thank you.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I was doing that show long before you were here.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I know.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Okay, I'm o g show.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
No you actually you really weren't doing it long before
I was here. Yes, I was you be she used
to do it.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
No never, I was always by myself. You never did
Yes you did we did the Saturday.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Morning No, No, you did do it because because you
know what, you stopped, she stopped doing it with you.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
No, I did it when Gandhi was here.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
No, I'm telling you, I'm going to text backs right now.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Okay, let's not bother back. She has young children.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Because you know I'm right, You're not right. No, I
am right because you happened. Was it came to a
point where she didn't want to get here early enough.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
So you just do it without her?

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Yes, I know. No, I know I'm right because I'm right.
And she never did the five am because I did
it with So here's the story. Our boss came to
Gandhi and I and said, I want to do a
five to six am show. Maybe you and Justin should
do it. And Gandhi said, I really don't want to
do it. I really don't want to commit. And she
was already here, but I don't want to, Like I'm
producing the show. She's like, I think that's a good

(06:22):
opportunity you for you Justin to get your voice on
the radio. So you just do it. And I was like,
are you sure should? I ask him and she goes,
just do it. So I started doing it, and then
I've just been doing it ever since. No.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
She I'm telling you at one point it was you
and Beck.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Okay, text her, don't call it.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
No, I'm calling.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
No, no text Okay, you don't have to call her
and bother. She has a young baby.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Okay, I'll text her. Can I call you? No, just
text her and against it. No, right, I know, but
you know what I think you'd think you're wrong.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
I'm one hundred percent right. I know she never did
the five am she did Saturday morning at eight am
with me. That's what she did because I started with
that with don I'm calling.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Can I call you?

Speaker 1 (07:03):
What you say?

Speaker 2 (07:04):
I'm waiting for a response.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
She's probably breastfeeding. What she's probably breastfeeding?

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Yeah, okay, yes, you're on speaker.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Oh my god. Okay, I'm glad this is happening. Hopefully
she has a fond memory.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
I love her, she said. Okay, she's worried about me.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Okay, let's say what she has to say. I love
how you know best, why.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
You'll you're good. But I'm calling you for a reason. Okay.
Do you remember when you worked here? Right? Okay?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Do you remember a time where you and Justin did
a recap show of the show.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
No Becks We never did five to six am. We
only did Saturday mornings. Tell her, she's trying to say me,
and you did five am to six am. We never did.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Wait, wait, yes you did that.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
You did five to six am.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
No way, Becks and you did it And he's like, no,
I didn't. No, No, you and Bex did it.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Bex, we did Saturday morning recap from eight to nine.
We never there was like.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
A small stint where like maybe we talked about it.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
But yeah, we never did it.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
No, No, Becks and are correct. I'm gonna I'm going
to come in here. I remember you did it for
a little while and then you're like, Justin, you just
do it. I want to get I don't want to
get here earlier than five.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
I wouldn't be surprised if I did say that.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Yes, I remember that, Yes, I remember, because you would
do it and then Justin and then Justin just started
doing without you because you're like.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Eh, Bex, can you come back?

Speaker 2 (08:29):
And she's agreed, she knows.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
I'm telling you. We talked about it. I did.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
No, I remember vividly because remember the time where Beck
stopped doing it.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
I vague remember.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Us talking about it, and I don't know what.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
I feel like we did do it because I feel
like that I don't know if I stopped doing but
we started just pre recording.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
It, and it was three breaks with the three breaks
to recap the show from the day before.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
It wasn't it wasn't us not. I don't I'm I
didn't stop doing it, but.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
I think because I remember always listening.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
To it right of you and him right.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
Yeah, yeah, we would do the biggest moments from the
day before.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
I think, yes, you fucking want I told you.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
I think, oh no, no.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
No, hold the audio, I'll find the audio.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Audio.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
I don't know it exists. I remember this, Okay.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
I don't know like how long we did it for
or anything.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Like that, but it was done.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
I know we did it, and we probably tried to
keep it a secret or like we probably tried to
like burn it out of our minds because we were
too terrified if somebody found out, he'd kill us. So, like,
I don't know if that's why we stopped doing it,
but I remember being like horrified that like he might
find out and we might get in trouble.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Facts. Remember when you left me with Winnie, Remember you
did that? Thank you see.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
I was right, ha ha, I know what I know.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
There's gonna be a listener of the After Show that
hits us up that they remember it too.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Yeah, no, definitely yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Anyway, Beck, how's the fam?

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Everybody's good, everybody's good. I miss you guys.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Oh it's just are you guys doing after show right now?

Speaker 1 (10:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (10:07):
You're on the after Show? This is so fun. What
did you guys talk about today? What are we talking about?

Speaker 1 (10:12):
We were ready for this. This is a good idea
of how things are going. We started the podcast and
and I started to tell us to tell a story
and talk about money, and then halfway through I forgot
my point, and then Winnie didn't remember either, and we
just got lost. Here we are, and now here we
are with you.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
I'm happy to see something's never check.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Yeah yeah, so Beck, so Beck, hold on? So you're
so your two children are? How old?

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Now?

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Lincoln is two and like almost a half.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
He's two years five months, and then is four months?

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Okay, which one? Which one so far is more is
more like able? And then which one is the angel?
Are they both angels?

Speaker 2 (10:55):
It's definitely able, really.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Yeah, but no, he's the best way he's yeah, he's
he look crazy.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
And then Ellie she's like super chill, she's like kind.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Of just like she is. She like, do you name
her after your brother?

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (11:13):
It was not really. There's this artist I love. Her
name's Ellanna. Yeah, it came from her.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
But then I liked e l I because my brother's
name is that, my uncle's name is that.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
And also it's a mid Marri Night saying. So we're like,
all right, we like, let's put the Eli uh no
to it. So yeah, kind of my other brothers a godfather.
So we're like, okay, cool, he's a godfather. And then
Eli gets like the yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. Yeah, No,
it's pretty. It's a pretty name.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
I like it a lot.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
I like it a lot.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
So your your children are like my children. You have
the boy who's older and kind of a handful, and
then the angel girl.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
I love seeing pictures of your little daughter because I
remember Vivid Lee in the studio one day.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
You're talking about how.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
You're never gonna have another kid.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Oh yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
See her. I was like, yeah, just it was so
wrong about that. And she's so freaking cute too.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
She's the best how's Jimmy.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
Jamie's good, he's chilling, you know, living his best life.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Yeah. But what I I think it's crazy is I
left and then Winnie.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
You became Winny, you know, like you were the story
the whole time.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
You were always the story. How's your love life?

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Good? Well, she was she was gay for the last year.
She was gay. Do you know that. Yeah, that's what
I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
She was the story.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, you know we're back,
We're back to Dick.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Yeah, that's.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
She was only gay for the stack.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Yeah, you know, it was one and done.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Listen, from what I knew, it was only a matter
of time for you to get back.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
No, honestly, I was having an entire best orgasms of
your life.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Okay, Okay, you know, do you you experience it?

Speaker 2 (13:03):
It's good? Yeah, No, I honestly was having a good time.
She ruined it, but it was a good time. That's
all right. Yeah, yeah, I'll tell you later.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Yeah, you can have a girl chat on that. Well, Becks,
we love you, miss you, Okay, thank you, talk about
talk to you soon. I still don't know were the
point where I was going with the money thing, ok
I have to go back and listen. Oh my god, Jesus. Anyway,
I hope everyone has a great Thursday. The podcast has
a ton of stuff to catch up on. Make sure

(13:33):
you go. And I know it was okay, you were
right because my memory isn't good, but I don't remember
that we should have bet on it. You were right.
But yeah, Also I want to say when we talk
about this on the show, I mentioned it. We always,
you know, we plug the talkbacks and iHeart app. But
the iHeart app has all these crazy updates and it's

(13:54):
actually really really cool. If you don't have it, you
can download it. It's one hundred percent free. And I
just love this feature, like the preset feature. I love
it because it's like a radio. You know, you know,
you set your presets in the radio, so you can
set kiss one away. The after show, the Billion Liasa
podcasts up there, so every time you open the app,
you're like, boom, just click it on. So that's pretty cool.
Just to elaborate more on that. Anyway, Tomorrow's Friday, ahead

(14:18):
of a long weekend, we will have an.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
After show, have an after show coming and maybe.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Maybe Monday maybe well, you have to tune in and
find out all right, he well.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
You know what you should do.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
Subscribe right now to the billion leads to after Show,
because if we do have one on Monday, then you
want to pop up.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Yes. And you know what, if we don't do it,
you can call and yell at us. Sh
