Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Shannon had Lucy's Girl Scout trip. It was this trip
that she had planned for some time. They do it
as the kind of graduating from Girl Scouts.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
It's like the fifth grade trip.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
So the you know, the when you buy Girl Scout
cookie is the money. Part of the money goes to
the troops and they can save it and use it
for whatever they want. So over the years we've used
cookie money for a lot of different really fun things.
But our troops saved a good chunk of the funds
to take this fifth grade trip for the girls who
were still in Girl Scouts, and we went to I
think I can say the name of the place, the

(00:34):
Double J Ranch, which is the famous It is in Rothbury, Michigan,
also the site of Electric Forest.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
So we it was such a.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Wild situation because going into this weekend, we as the
moms that were all taking our daughters on this trip.
And there was one dad too shout out climbed Lucky Faster,
a bunch of moms.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
I love Flynn.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
But we going into this trip had planned on staying
in cabins, either tepees or cabins. We weren't sure what
they were going to give us when we get there,
but they had said, you know, it's pretty rustic, so
you need to bring bedding and bring sleeping bags and
toiletries and flip flops to go to the shower and
all of those things. So that's what we were prepared for.

(01:22):
And we all arrived to the Double J Rant and
the front desk staff alerts us that we had been upgraded,
and you know, I love upgrade. Well, we were no
longer staying in the cabins or the teepees. They had
moved us into the hotel. The Double J Ranch actually
has a hotel on the property because apparently a group

(01:49):
of about sixty fraternity guys also booked the cabins where
we were supposed to be staying under the guise of
it being a family reunion because are not allowed to
do this at the Double J Ranch they've had some
issues in the past.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Somebody called and they booked.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
It as a family reunionect for sixty people. Well, then
once the ranch workers realized saw all of these twenty
year old dudes showing up and unloading coolers and walking
to the cabins, they were like, rough Row Houston, we
have a problem.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
We have you know, fifteen fifth.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Graders coming and staying in the cabin across from you.
This is not going to work, by the way, so
we got to stay in the hotel.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Here's the even crazier part.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
We're the moms are all rejoicing, right that we get
to stay in a place with like an actual toilet
in a shower, and we didn't have to bring our
linens and sleeping bags and all this stuff. Well, the
next morning we wake up and early and we go
to the barn because we had a hate or a
hay ride a horseback ride scheduled, and there's all these police.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
There and we're like, what the heck happened?

Speaker 3 (02:58):
So the lady who was in charge of group said
that overnight, thank god, they moved us. The frat guys
through a rager, let out all of the animals from
the pastures, the horses, the donkeys, started destroying the cabins
and they had to call the police and bring the
police in and evict these guys overnight.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Oh my god, could you imagine.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
If we were sleeping right next door to this happening.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
By the way, this is a hazing incident waiting to happen.
A bunch of fraternity people with a bunch of animals.
Let me ask you this Moms girl Scouts, where all
the moms accounted for the next morning, all.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Of the mom's workout what.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
We all stuck together, even though there were some moms
that we were like it could be.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
So this is I want to know if this has
ever happened to anybody. Has anybody ever had this where
you booked a vacation or maybe you booked like a
family reunion, only to show up at the hotel and
there's something else going on at the same time, and
what was the crazy thing that happened? Do you remember
when I took Norm to Vegas once? Johnny Dare and

(04:08):
I took Norm to Vegas and it was the porn
convention going on at the same time. We landed in
Vegas to a sign that said it said pornhub dot
com and red Tube or whatever the other porn site is,
welcomes you to the annual porn Convention. And I'm like,
oh my god. And it was at our hotel we

(04:28):
were we were staying.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
For Norm was eighty five years You see.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
That porn porn hubs Listen, I'm I don't go on
that that's the reason you showed her out. All right,
So so here so eight four four Mojo Live eight
four four six sixty five six five four eight. I
want to know if you ever had this happen.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
It wasn't Harbor's. It was Handies.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
I want to ask you. I want to ask you
a question about because I the first out of town
trip that I ever had with Luke or Joey or
Jacob was I think that we ended up going to Well,
it might have been New York with Jacob. We did
a New York trip with Jacob. We had to ride
buses there, took us like overnight. It was crazy how
long it was. And then we stayed And what is

(05:25):
it like for you to have to stay with a
bunch of strange moms that you normally don't like?

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Is it weird?

Speaker 3 (05:31):
The moms in this group are all very cool. I
honestly had not. Sugarcoating had a great time hanging out
with the moms and Glench another shout out for Glenn.
But it is interesting because all of the girls wanted
to stay the way that they had our hotel room.
We had two hotel rooms across from each other, and
they had like bunk rooms in these hotel rooms, and

(05:52):
so all of the girls, of course, we had arranged
it that like Lucy was going to stay with me
and the other girls were going to stay with their
moms and share beds that way.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Well, once the girl saw the bunk.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Rooms, they all wanted to stay together, and rightfully, so
that's so fun. So I ended up sharing a bed
with another mom who I know and I'm friends with,
but it still gave me so much anxiety during the
day of like, Okay, we're gonna go to bed at
night and snuggle is there?

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Like do we.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Talk in bed? And at what point do I finally go, Okay,
I'm gonna go to sleep now, and like shut off
the light. I don't know why that always gives me anxiety.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
I couldn't fall asleep without noise, so I wanted to
put the TV on, and the dad that I was with, yeah,
would not have the TV on, Like he was like no,
and it was it was tough for me to fall asleep.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
It is kind of awkward, but it was so funny
because I was on Instagram and she was getting ready
for bed, and she gets in bed and she turned
to me and she said, Okay, So I snore really bad,
and I'm thinking, oh god, I mean I can kind
of sleep through most things. But she said, but in
an effort to make sure that you sleep tonight, I'm
gonna put my mouth tape on.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Have you guys heard this? This mouth tape.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
It's like a pain, But my girlfriends are doing it
to get better sleep too.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
So she slept with like this. I think it was bright.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Blue, like a bright blue big it looks like a
big thick band aid over her mouth.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
So I there was no like good night sleep like
she put it on. That was it.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
If all the moms are sleeping together and the girls
are in bunk bands, where does Glenn sleep?

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Glen at his own room. He's a lucky guy.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
So the rooms had their own rooms in that makes sense.
And then like a kitchen and a living room. And
is he one of the girls or is he does
he stay with all the moms? He was good, he's
one of the girls.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
What's up? Dominic Mojoe in the morning, Good morning morning,
How you doing good?

Speaker 5 (07:46):
How are you good?

Speaker 2 (07:47):
What's happening good?

Speaker 5 (07:49):
So it was about seven years ago. Now, I was
actually in a fraternity that we had our formal at
the Double J Ranch.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Oh really.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
Yeah, And I'm hoping I'm not the reason that they're
not allowed.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
You might be, you might be.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Yeah, what fraternity?

Speaker 5 (08:12):
I don't know if I should say if.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
No, no, shut it out.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Now it's talk talk kepa epsilon. There you go? Is
that what it is called?

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Really? What's up Morgan? How you doing?

Speaker 5 (08:26):
Good morning?

Speaker 1 (08:28):
What's going on?

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Shannon was hanging out at the Double J Ranch with
a bunch of girl scouts and fraternity guys. How weird
is that?

Speaker 5 (08:37):
And there was mouth tap it was it was a
handful of years ago. I was taking my girlfriend at
the time out to Vegas to go see I think
we went to see Phantom or.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Something like that.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
But that weekend, I think it's called the Electric Daisy
Carnival was going on. You know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
I feel like I've heard of this before.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
Yeah, it's say, a whole lot of scantily clad like
I don't know, eighteen to twenty five year old's so
where that range. But that was the year that the
computers on the strip went down for whatever that matter.
The company is Oh so there's hundreds of people in
lobbies across all the hotels just waited to check in. Yeah,
we got upgraded out of the deal and there was
lots of eye candy. But that's a weird trip.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
It is weird, isn't it when when you go and
something crazy happens in Vegas Because there's so many people,
it's tough to navigate. I was actually also in Vegas
when the casino that we were staying at burned down
or lit on fire. It was the old It's like
the MGM's the one that's right next to the T

(09:41):
Mobile Arena, and it was we could we're landing and
as we're landing in Vegas, you see a fire and
I'm like, I think that's our hotel since and it's
on fire. The funny thing is Luke has done these
fraternity things where they go away and they stay at places.
I can only imagine that these hotels must hate these fraternities.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
I have to give a shout out, and I know
this place is very popular. My dad actually used to
go there like back in the day with his buddies
into a golf trip because they have a golf course
here too. This the staff displaced the most phenomenal job
of keeping the group separated, you would not know that
anything had happened.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Yeah, it was really fun.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
That's oh, yes, you try it. I never heard it
is wait till you tie your arms and legs up
too at the same time. It totally takes away. No, no,
at all.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
It always ends neatly, and then he has to say
something like that, Jen, what's going on?

Speaker 5 (10:37):
Hi?

Speaker 4 (10:38):
How are you guys? Good morning?

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Good morning?

Speaker 4 (10:40):
First long time is alone, so I uh dance studio
and the very first year, we took the kids to
Nationals in Vegas, and the kids ranged from three years
old to eighteen years old. We got into the elevator
for the first time. I was taking my little down,
which ranged from ages like three to six, and we

(11:03):
had a porn convention going on the same time that
the dance competition was going on. So I had three
or four year old little girls wondering where the rest of
their costumes were. Bos.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
I'm telling you, it's a legit convention. It's a busy
weekend in Vegas. I can't believe that they would book
a Girls Nationals for that.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Yeah, and you know what, they had to make their money.
And I thought some of my moms might take them
up on the office
