Kev's Son Dropped The AirTag at the Playdate

We were talking about Kev's son yesterday on the air,
and then Kev's got a story and you have to
tell it the way you told us off the air
because it was such a great story. Kev's son, Josiah,
had a playdate at a friend's from school's house, right right,
you take it away from there, I mean he put
so He's like, yeah, my friend invited me over. This
is the first time I'm a friend from this school

has ever invited him over.

So I'm like, all right, cool, And it's a new
school that he's going to. The school.

New friend kind of met the parents, like really briefly
at like some social they have lean really get in depth.
And I think his mom and the mom are like
texting whatever the case is. So this is my first
time I meeting him. So we get out the car,
we pull up to the door, and shoes all in
the front of the house. I'm like, Okay, this is
kind of strange, but whatever, what.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Do you mean by that? What do you mean my
shoes off?

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Like it's shoes in the front of this Like you
walk up the stairs, it's like a porch and then
there's the front door.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
There's shoes all over the front porch, the st Yeah. Yeah,
wait so they didn't have the shoes on the inside
of the house. Yeah, they're like outside literally on the
front porch. Didn't neighbor that was like that. I had
a neighbor that was that would never let you even
just step foot with shoes on in the house and
you had to leave outside. And then when I would
leave their house, I'd have cold feet.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
I like, what if you got anna you on wrap
patrol in Ferndale, Like, what do you have mice that
are like in your shoes?

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Like I'd be worried about stuff like that. Is this
a neighborhood that has mice or is it a nice neighborhood?
I mean they out there.

It took us a while, had to put in the
GPS they went in to tray t that for shure,
I had to take two freeways. But uh so we
walk up to the door. The whole family comes spilling
out on the front door. I'm thinking we about to
walk in the house, because that's what you do in
November when it's cold out on Yeah, we're just standing there.
So like, first off, theyn't invite us in which I
thought was like, hella weird. Then I'm like all right,

after standing there for a second and not being like, okay,
let's walk in, Like all right, I guess I'm not
going in their house. So Josiah walk in, I get
in the car. I'm like, I don't really know these people.
Josiah doesn't have a cell phone. I'm like, I need
to go back and air tag my boy, cause I.

Don't know what's going on. Where'd you get an air tag?

Speaker 3 (02:02):
I had one for my wallet because I lose my
wallet all the time, Okay, so I was like, man,
I got the one in my wallet'm and just take
this out. So I go back to the door, Knock
on the door, step over some shoes, step over some shoes.
I hit the little blink ring doorbell thing. Nobody come
for me, and I'm like, what the hell is going
on here? Knock on the door, and the mom finally
come in and she like standing there kind of blocking
the door. I kind of like forced my way in,

like I need to see Joe science. So I like
walk in forget to take my shoes off. Now I'm
halfway in the living room.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
With my shoes.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
I'm like, oh, yeah, they don't like that shoes on.
So I take my shoes off. I told you something
like just Sie, come here. So I had like a
twenty dollar bills. I'm like, they going out, like, let
me give you some money. Put the air tag in
a little money, don't tell them put it in like
he got cargo pins. So I put it like in
a leg pocket. I'm thinking that's the most secure because
it's got a snap. He's got one of the little
snap off clips. Snap money and air tagger.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Now you know what I mean. Joe Siah get in
the car. We pull off.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
I'm like, oh, Joe, grab the air tag. He's like,
what are you talking about. I'm like, let me see
the airtiger your pocket. He's like, I don't have anything.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
This is when you're picking them up. This is when
we're about to leave. Okay. He and them flipped around
in the house.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
They wrestling, they jumping on stuff, and left the damn
AirTag in their house.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
I'm pressing play sound thinking it's about to come on.
It's ringing. I just looked right now it's still in
their house.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Wait a second. The air tag that was supposed to
be the air tag for your wallet. You put it
in Josiah's cargo pants pocket fell out of his cargo
pants and it is right now sitting somewhere on the
floor or carpeting of their house.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
It's in their house. It's a last scene. Oh maybe
they found it. You should hit the button to make sounds.
I'm not about to do that right now.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Make sounds and see what they do. I already did
that on the day. It's in their house right now.
Hold on, let me see where they live. I don't

If you would have told Joe that he had the
air tag, maybe he wouldn't have lost it.

I don't know why I didn't tell him, to be honest,

was kind of mad.

By the way, this is the funniest thing, because this
mom is going to be cleaning in the house and
she's gonna go somebody's buying on us.

I felt like we should have said something. The day
that happened, all right, So here's question.

Should Kevin call them and say, hey, I got an
air tagg in their house or should he just let
it go and just move on from this air tag?
What are your thoughts on this one? Eight four to

If they find it, will it say because I see

connect to it, will it say it's yours?

My question is if they found it already, because this
is the first time that I've seen it in rare

I think if the mom is also a mother and
loves her children, and she would understand that he was
tagging his children, and he could just say that he
wears like Josiah takes it to school with him and
has it on at school already and always has a
stag on him because you know, you are divorced or
you're split. Un So maybe when you're a hate ad
his mom and he's just like to know where he is.

By the way, when Kev's telling this story, what are
your thoughts on, because I'm stuck on why are they
leaving the shoes on the outside of the house and
not in the first in the entryway like they you
know right there.

I have a garage and I leave all my shoes
in my garage. And if I didn't have a garage,
I wouldn't leave them outside.

Yeah, this is what mudrooms are for. Remember the old
fashioned mud rooms. People would have what they live. They
live in a suburb that has mud rooms.

day that j just Siah went there, say that he
had it on him from school and always had it
on him.

and say, hey, he dropped it, not let the mom
just find it. Yeah, I would call because I'm telling you,
I'd be freaked out by.

Listen, if I've invited you guys over to the house
and I found it founded, I found random things, Uh,
just kind of sitting around the house, like you know,
things that you guys might have just head fall out
of your pocket. And I'm thinking there's a reason they
left it there, and now it fell out of their pocket.

But also I feel like a bad parent because it
happened a few days ago. So if I tell them, hey,

So I just want to say that when Josiah grows up,

little pissed that he lost it.

So I air tag all kinds of stuff, okay, because
my first of all, my kid loses everything, and so
I air tag her two coach first, she got first
sixteen first say when she went to see the point,
I threw one in her shoe. But it doesn't always.
It depends on a bunch of different variables. And like
the system, So if you like, if I check one now,
it's gonna say last scene whenever. But then if I
