Speaker 1 (00:00):
Mojo in the morning show, Shannon wants to know if
she did something illegal. What's going on? Shannon?

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Okay, So obviously we always talk about if you're out
in having a cocktail or cocktails with friends, you want
to make sure that you are getting home safely and
you're not drinking and driving. And we're huge proponents of
uber and lyft and designated drivers and all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
So I am.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
I went out with some girlfriends the other night and
we decided to go get a margarita.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Well wait, a saying you can't say margarita without say
it like this.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Guy, I got a damn margarita.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
I should have told you to have the trap.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
So we rode our bikes to this little restaurant that
was in my neighborhood got a margarita. But you know
how sometimes they are strong.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Like the bartender.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
It was like half a bottle of tequila was and
EA took these margarita's. Well, we got on our bikes
to ride home and my friend Brooke was making fun
of the way that I write. I was riding my
bike and she's like, Shan, you are swerving like the
margarite really hit you. And I said, well, No, that's
not the margarita. That's just how I normally write my
bike my kids all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
I ride my bike like a five year old.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
But I thought about this, and I think we've talked
about this before. We think we're doing this safe thing
by riding our bike from this restaurant back to my
house where we all left from. But can't you get
an o w I on a bike? You're drinking even
though you think you're doing the safer thing, because obviously
I would never get in my car, but like I

(01:34):
think you can get stop.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
What does an ow I stand?

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Never?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Is what it is?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I think it's different car versus versus like anything else?

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Right, call up Kev's cop classmate.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yeah, I really did only have one margarite, and my
waitress can vouch for that.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
For real.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Marci, did you did you just raise your hand that?
Did you get a DUI on a bicycle or something? No? Rast,
Oh you want to be an ex. Oh she wants
me to plug one of her clients. I called yesterday. Listen,
I got to tell you this. This is not you know,
Saturday Mornings on ninety seven won the ticket. Okay, we're

(02:20):
not infomercial in the show. Okay, I know you guys
in sales want to, like, you know, sell us all.
Come on, Oh my god, let me ask the listeners first,
and then if we don't get them, we will and
we gotta be equal opportunity to Marci Marcy's. We got,
we got Sam Bernstein and then you know Sam Bernstein

(02:42):
yet and we got you know, Michigan Auto Law. We got,
we got all these guys. He's not a sponsor for
any reason. I called youmana. She should be advertising. I'm
telling you we're going to get her to advertise, one
way or another. What's going on, Mark? How you doing
pretty good? Good? What did you? Did you get a
DUI on something other than a motorized vehicle?

Speaker 3 (03:03):
No, but my neighbor guy lives up the street from
us in the city, I mean in you know, in
walled Lake here, and he had a John here riding
mower and he was drunk. But see this happened late
at night, and he got neighbors complaint because it's loud.
You know, it's midnight and he's cutting his lawn. But

(03:24):
they couldn't do nothing. So when he went to the front,
but the cops are kind of waiting there, And what
he did is when he was he went to the
street to do a U turn to get you know,
like when you're cutting your lawn and you kind of
go on the street to get back up, you know,
into your front lawn. As soon as he got in
the street, they lit him up and he got he
went to jail probasis.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
You're kidding me. That's that seems like I set up
on a lot more. That seems where that seems like
the Walled Lake cops are getting a little petty.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Yeah, they and he had to go to the Nova court.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Run.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Wow, that's crazy. Uh what's KP? You look like you did? You? Oh? I?

Speaker 5 (04:08):
I honestly I should have gotten one. On my bike
for the fourth of July, I literally fell off my
bike and I feel like I.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Was a hazard. Where were you driving?

Speaker 5 (04:17):
I was in Jacksonville for the fourth and there's one
street that we all apparently the whole town drives on and.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Everybody was drunk so riding their bikes. Riding their bikes,
so maybe they just go and I really injured my elbow.
It hurts so bad.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
You fell off, Yeah, I I legit fell off my bike.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Oh my god. You gotta be careful, KP. Were you
sure you're drunk? I was just dehydrated? You like, are
you like? Shannon?

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Just kind of literally my seven year old rides bike.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
I'm actually quite coordinated, so putting training wheels on both
of you guys bikes.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Thank you much. Hi, Cam, how you doing?

Speaker 5 (04:54):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (04:55):
How are you good? What's going on?

Speaker 4 (04:57):
I had a cousin who was riding his like drunk,
and he hit a lady on his bike and they
stayed around to make sure she was okay, and the
cats gave him an ow I that he never went
and had like dealt with, ended up with a warrant
for his arrest. And he's like thirty five now and
you just got his life.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
And he bat Wow.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Yeah, that's unbelievable. But he was. He was actually being
responsible in staying with her, but it ended up biting
him in the butt.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Huh, sure did, Sure did. And he was young. I
mean he was probably fresh out of you know, bar rage.
So I mean twelve years of his life almost on
hold because he was just scared to deal with.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
But so, wow, thanks for the call, Sean. What's going on?

Speaker 5 (05:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Yes, my brother received a ticket for driving well, riding
his bike was intoxicated from DPD.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Oh boy, the DPD. Yeah, yeah, that's amazing. I don't
even know the DPD writes traffic tickets. I've always thought.
I always thought that I could just drive through red
lights anytime I wanted to in Detroit and just kind
of they just kind of let you go. See Sean,

(06:16):
what's up? Initial t voiceless guys, what's going on?

Speaker 6 (06:20):
Yeah, So a group of friends and I we were
riding our bikes to fountain Walk. You know how there's
always cops there, especially by.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Imagine where exactly is this again? Fountain Walk by fountain Walk,
Mall Nova Okay, okay, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6 (06:36):
So we were at beat ups, taking shots stuff like that,
and we were riding our bikes because we're we're pretty close. Uh,
we even like worked out a powerhouse. Besides the story,
we drank a little too much. Uh, cop saws kind
of like I guess wobbling out. We get on our
bikes and we start riding, and a siren us and

(06:57):
then they're like, sure, you guys need to pull over,
and I was like, f you, you can't catch us,
and then.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
We'll probably caught us. That probably did you yeah.

Speaker 6 (07:15):
Yeah, so that that didn't work well for us,
