It is the local Toy Dealers KSR postgame show. The
Cats beat Tennessee Tech forty two to ten in Croger
Field and the final home game of the year Senior Day,
to bring their record to five and five and one
win away from Bowl eligibility. I'm here in Geneva, Ohio

We are on our way to Buffalo, New York, but
we stopped in Geneva, Ohio to do this show. They've
been very nice here to us, and we have food,
diet coke, Drew as a beer. Mario drank a cocktail
in three point three seconds. And as if Billy is
here as well, Drew Kats get a win and we
are on our way to Buffalo.

Could win.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
I know some people had a little fear in the
unbeaten Golden Eagles from Texas Tennessee Tech, but we saw
rather quickly the difference in uh.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
I guess just size and ability. Especially.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
I know we'll get to Bowie's big day, but on
that run he had, we saw the disparity and why
that game never was closed.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
I think that the big difference in the game is
in games like this is on the line, is on
the line of scrimmage, and Kentucky owned it, especially on offense.
They kind of were able to run the ball at will,
they got a first down.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
I mean, they really were able to move the ball
whenever they won it.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
The only couple times they were stopped once they for
some reason went a sweep on third and two, which
is a bad call, and then I think they were
stopped on fourth down once when they went for it.
They could have kicked a field goal. Otherwise they scored
every time. The offense dominated, the defense dominated the first half,
second half, they gave a couple of drives, but ultimately
a nice win.

A lot of guys got to play cutter bowling.

Looks great, really great. And now you got two games
left in the year, chance to go to a Bowl.
Two of your the teams you kind of consider your rivals,
and two teams that have been good this year, so

orange suitcase that looks to be from the late thirties
that you saw like Grandma's carry.

Also not the you don't. I mean I fly a lot.
You don't even see those in airports ever. Like usually
if you were to see something like that, it usually
means like it's either an old person or a cry.

Oh, this is a business trip for me. Oh, I'm
just taking it to another level.

You haven't ever thought about updating the technology for your bags.

It's pretty updated. You can actually lock it. There's a
key with it, so I mean it's uh like.

It's pretty high tech.

You know what if he were to take that on
an airplane, I think they'll let you smoke if you
wear a suit and carry that bag. They'll like, yeah, man,
have a cigarette.

They probably would let you smoke.

You would you would didn't get in trouble, you'd call
the flight attendant, doll.

That's what you have a little palmade in your head

And then but this was very nice, Billy you you
you know, we.

Asked you to bring you snacks and you packed. This
was very nice.

If you you packed a veggie tray, which is what's
very few when four guys go on and road trip
to see a NFL game, very rarely do you see
a veggie tray.

But you brought a veggie truck.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
I'm very disappointed in your all's reaction to the veggie tray. Uh,
every buddy it loved it. I mean, the carrots were
gone in a matter of seconds.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
I didn't like the ca carrits went quick.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
I do like carrots, and Drew and Mario went online
seconds later the blaste me for ringing a veggie tray
on the trip.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
You guys seem to enjoy it.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
I don't think the response was gonna be that bad.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
The response was bad, but you also had people like
one person wrote that you were a healthy king. Like
there were people who said that they like veggie, so
like you known't.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
He was pretty much.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Universal negativity on your suitcase. But it was not universal
negativity on your veggie trip.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
I didn't do it for the audience. I did it
for me and us staying healthy. I mean, probably the
only vegetable you'll eat on the trip. So you're welcome.
And just wait until I bring out what's.

I will say, Billy's been a good road trip.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Yeh, talkative, it doesn't sleep, you know, he's only been
a few hours.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yeah, it's it's a change because normally it's right in
the front seat. The other guys in the back. I've
had Drew in the front seat, had good conversations, we
had the game on on the and then Billy was
you know back there, Uh, letting things happen during the depression.
And it's been Uh, it's it's it's been it's been great.
Now let's talk about the game for a second. Cutter

was excellent. Obviously, the play everybody will focus on is
when he ran over that guy, but just in general
through for like two hundred and forty yards or something.
Thought he made good decisions. Obviously It's not the best
team in the world, but more good development from Cutter
and the announcers, the ESPN guys who I'd never heard of.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Who were those guys? What we had?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
My guy Rocky Boyman from the Titans. He was a
linebacker at Notre Dame. He was the color anis the
play by play guy?

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Couldn't tell you well? They were both very praise worthy
of Cutter. I thought it was a good Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
I think he had like three incompletions. I asked this
taper room to give me an official box score. I
like to hold on to it. They didn't have one. Yeah,
he was eighteen for twenty one. That's got to help
his percentage, which was already top five in the SEC.
He's pushing seventy percent on the year. Is a sixty seven,
sixty eight.

A lot of young receivers got Kindrick Law was great.
He's not young but he but one of our receivers
than you know, DJ Miller had a good drive SETH
mcgawan three touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
That's I don't think we talk enough about how good
he's been this year. We know had the injury, but
Stoops has always needed a good running back and this
one's been more of a stable when he got it.
But that's an NFL running back. I think he's gonna
have a chance to make a team. That dude's been great.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
The offensive line was excellent, Like you won on third
and one, third and two easy first down. They got
those the whole game. We were in that situation a lot.
They got it the whole game. Defense allowed one bad drive,
but in general I thought played well.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
You know, it was interesting.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
They kept acting like at some point Tennessee Tech would quit,
but then they never really did. They kept playing their starters,
and I thought Kentucky did really well.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
It was a good day.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
I mean, like, this is a good day like last night,
in the sense of, you know, it's a good weekend
for Kentucky sports. It's not gonna You're not gonna sit
there and say, well, this is the best team that's
ever existed, But you do what you're supposed to do,
and so that's good.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
Take care of business, and now you set up an
exciting end to the season. I mean three weeks ago
you were dead in the water. Stups was already out
the door. And now there's a chance to get seven
wins on the season.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
I just remembered, I bet the over four and a half.
Do they pay that out when it happens? That's five wins.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Everybody made fun of me when I bet that. Look
at us now, so yeah, they did hit the over four. Yeah,
well draft gings paid out. Yeah, look at you rich guys. Yeah,

This scoop of Cheetos is on you. By the way,
you know you're not in the South. When there's one
television in here, they can only have one thing on
at a time, and they all chose Cleveland Cavaliers basketball.
Alabama's playing Oklahoma. No, we're not putting that on. It's
Cleveland Calves versus someone I don't even know.

Did I hear her say Alabama was on? And everyone
demanded the change it to that.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
I know that Alabama Oklahoma was on, and then they
said no, someone in here requested the Calves. This bar
is a very nice bar, but it's very much a
who he who requests it gets it. So the Grizzlies
and the Calves are playing each other. If I was
at home, those are the two teams that are blacked.

But oh yeah, you can't watch the Grizzlies. So this
is maybe the only time I see.

Game, Well, not from the game, from the road trip.

I barely watched the game, but you did a U
turn as soon as we got in the car. I
mean I was ready for my U turn counter and
we did my coat at home.

I don't want to go to Buffalo without a jacket,
so we had to turn around and get the get
the coat.

We got it.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
We make good time, by the way, I mean we
are north of Cleveland now, only have about two hours left.
And I thought we'd be getting home getting there like midnight.
We're gonna get there like nine, nine thirty. We have
a little Bufalo time.

Yeah, it's gonna be the other time for Buffalo hit
the streets.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Have been here even earlier. If we didn't have to
wait for Mario and his McRib earlier today.

It's true, Mario, we stop. We're like, everybody, let's go
jump in the gas station, get something quick, and Mario
orders a McRib and uh, you know they had to
go and like slaughter a calf in order to be
able to get it. So that took us a little
bit of a detour. But nevertheless we are Did you
not enjoy the veggie trae?

It's just not what I expected it. It's not when
we get in the car I usually expect. Okay, I'm
gonna eat poorly this weekend. Like the last two or
three days before we left, I ate a little better
than I normally do because I was like, I'm gonna
have my nerd gummy clusters. You know, I'm probably a
lot of wings, so I'm gonna just like I'm gonna
space out and and and and and then have a
bad food. When we walk in and you're you know,

you have radishes. It's just not what I was expecting.

A little ranch. I mean, you got something to dip in.

It was yeah, I mean it wasn't the ranch so much.
It was it was all the green. It's just not
something I saw Barcoley's got.

A little bit of a smell and you don't really
notice it until you're in a closed space.

But I'm not hating Billy.

That was my first vegetable, so I appreciate it.

Frankly did have a little bit of a smell. No, no,
you added, so the car just smells a little bit different.

Part of this is the road trip is new to you,
but you're also new to us on the road. We're
used to Ryan up in the front and Shad like that.
We're still learning everything.

I mean, there's a decent Drew and I have probably
spent Drew's worked for KSR for seventeen years and some
form Drew and I have probably spent of those seventeen
years half a year on the road together. I mean
we've probably spent literally half a year on the road,

and so we know each other, like we know you
have added a while Mario two, but you've added a
wild car.

Vegetables have never seen that car.

No one has ever brought a vegetable into our presence,
and it's just like we're having to get used to it.

thirds vote of the city population provided all citizens eight
hundred acres of land on the moon.

people who came to America just said this is ours.

Well, it's two South Carolina players looking at each other
and he splits them like they're not even looking forward.
He's at fault and he raises his arm on both

There's a culture thing and an off season thing that's
gonna need to be addressed. Wow, that's amazing because he's
the fans, the Lowell fans don't like him, so that's interesting.
I didn't know that. I think they're both beatable. To
answer your question, Dennis, I think I think Vandy and
Louisville are both beatable. We're gonna be an underdog in
both games, Dennis, But I think we have a shot.
I mean, I think Louisville probably a better shot again

than Vandy. But you heard the announcers say they actually
think we match up pretty well with Vandy. So I
guess we'll wait and see.

in that game, or Louisville just collapsing and terrified Kentucky
will come in and beat you.

Apparently Walk a Flock of Flame was at the game
today and he was taking pictures with kids. He would
ask them a math question and if they got it correctly,
he would take a picture.

He has a concert in Licenming tonight and I'm glad
they got him over the field. It didn't look like

And if you watch the video, the announcer has no

was six to seven, and there's just this loud roar,
and I'm looking around, like, what did I miss? It's

Would you want to go If Kentucky were to go
