Speaker 1 (00:00):
And now an exclusive interview with David Bassey for Dodger Talker.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Max Mounsey. They try to keep us apart on the buses,
but I found you Monsey. You're wearing that fancy Nike
jacket right now. You're a three time World Series champion.
You want to talk about winning. Ever since you got here,
World Series is all Munsey has done.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Like I said, it's starting to get a little comfortable
up on the stage.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
You know, it's seriously, it's attestament.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
To the team, to the organization, the front office, the ownership.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
They want to win and they're wanting to put the
resources into it, and you've seen the results of that.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
You've been a part of three World Championship teams. You've
been a part of teams that have gone to the
World Series. What makes this team unique?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Every team's unique in its own way. I just think
we've had to go through so much, you know, throughout
the year talking about starting March seventeenth in Japan and
then we're ending November second in Canada.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
You know, that's just a long season after a long
last year.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
And you know, the guy's never faltered, They never waivered,
and you know people were questioning us, but we always
knew who we were in that clubhouse, and we went.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Out and showed it at the end.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
I know how much Clayton Kershaw's meant to you as
a teammate. How much will you remember this moment with
him on the stage for a final time?

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Man, you get tears in my eyes just thinking about it,
you know, I mean I said earlier, When you think
of the Dodgers, Clayton Kershaw is the first name that
pops in the head for the last twenty years.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
That's how it's been. And you know, it's a.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Sad day to see him finally walking away, but it's
also a happy day knowing that how much he's accomplished,
and how he gets to go home with this family
now and just celebrate them and be with them, and
it's it's truly just a wonderful day, but a sad day.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Three time World Series Champion Max Munsey, It's been a
great ride this year. Very lucky to be around you
guys and Monsey. If you need me during the off season,
I'm here for you to motivate.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Sure, why not?

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Oh wow, turning a corner right now, Key Monthsy, Congratulations
you're delirious of joy, of course, always always

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
