(00:45):
year, and I'm pretty upset aboutit. I'm just gonna go on record
right now let him know. Yeah, I'm pissed. I'm pissed. I'm
glad he came on today so Ican tell him I'm pissed. Let's bring
on Jack Harris at the Times.Jack, are you there, I'm here.
I'm really just upset that I missedthis fight between you two. That's
that's really what I wanted to hear. It wasn't that you know, it's

(01:08):
family fighting, you know what Imean, Jack, Sometimes family have to
go out a little bit to clearly. Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna have
to go back and listen to it. Yeah, Man, it's good Jack.
Where you've been, Man, wemiss you. I know it's been
There's been a lot going on.It's you know, even with that Toney,
I think sometimes there's been a lotof sports stories happened in LA.

(01:29):
But you're kind of getting into thatyear now where Yeah, I think there's
gonna be a lot of interesting stuffgoing on the Dodgers. So, yeah,
lots to talk about. Let's startwith Miguel Rojas having a hell of
a year defensively, not a questionhitting the ball, doing a terrific job.
It's early to speculate, But whydon't we speculate, because is it
ever too early for that? WhenMooki comes back, if Mickey Rojas is

(01:51):
playing the way he is, yousee Mooki going to second base most likely.
I think what we're not gonna seeis Mookie Bets starting every single game
at shortstop the way he was beforehe got hurt. I think even if
mcgaul Rojas wasn't playing as well ashe is right now, that might have
been the case. I think ifthe Dodgers were going to be able to

(02:13):
seriously think about having rookie Bets astheir everyday shortstop through the season and into
October, he needed to be gettingreps every day, He needed to be
getting his pregame work in every day. And the fact that he's going to
have missed, you know, sometwo months of that process of learning that
position was always going to make it, in my mind, difficult for him
to play that spot on an everydaybasis. Miguel Rojas's performance, I think,

(02:37):
just makes that decision all the easier. His bat had been really consistent.
There was obviously you know this statabout the team winning all but one
game now and when when he's hada base hit, his defense has been
good. I think the only realquestion there is the workload management part,
and it's his playing time has goneup. You know, he started playing

(02:59):
on a near everyday basis since Mookiegot hurt. Can he sustain that?
You know, he's not a youngplayer, and he had a lot of
nagging injuries last year and even afew earlier this year that I think the
team's a little bit wary about sowhen Mooki comes back, I think,
you know, as things are currentlyconstructed, you could maybe see a few

(03:19):
starts from Mookie at shortstop just tohelp the workload part with Miguel Rojas would
also allow Gavin Lucks to keep gettingstarts and he can still be consistent with
the bat. But yeah, Ithink as you start looking at the playoffs
and how that infield might look,my guess is, uh, you know,
barring some sort of major deal atthe deadline, you're going to see
Migul Rojas be in their primary shortstopas far as October is concerned. And

(03:45):
then how how does that? Howdoes that land when Mookie does come back,
and say he does come back andyou know, gets healthy late August,
September, whenever it is he getshealthy again, how does he go
back? Because he's the one thatlobby to play shortstop, He wanted to
play shortstop, and now he comesback, you take that away from him.

(04:06):
Does he ever get the opportunity togo back and play shortstop again?
If they decide that, hey,it's better for our team that Migey Roe
plays short and you play second.Yeah, I before Mookie got hurt,
I asked him that thing, andit was through the guise of if the
Dodgers ground and trade for a shortstop, you know, would you be okay
moving back to the second base orjust moving off that spot. And his

(04:28):
message there has been yes, Ijust want to win. The reason that
he went to shortstop in the firstplace was partially because, you know,
the way the team looked at it, and when they talked to him about
it, they all agreed that, you know, putting him at that spot,
given the way Gavin looks was strugglingdefensively back in the spring, and
given some of the workload and longevityquestions around the Gil Rojas at that point,

(04:50):
you know, everybody kind of agreedputting Mookie at shortstop was going to
be the best thing for the team, even though that meant putting a lot
more responsibilit and work on his shoulders, putting him in a position where he
could struggle and fail and have defensivelapses and things like that. He always
at least explained it publicly as I'mdoing this for the team because we think

(05:14):
this is the best thing for usto win games. And if now that
calculation has changed, if you know, the team believes that having the Gal
rojasag short is the best option forthem, which I think, you know,
anybody who's been watching them can seethat that's probably the right way to
go right now. I don't thinkhe's gonna have an issue with it,
you know, going back to secondbase and playing there more often. That's

(05:36):
what he was preparing to do cominginto the season anyway, And while again,
you know, had he been ableto really master the switch to shortstop,
it would have been one of themore impressive accomplishments of his entire career.
I think when you add into theinjury factor and just all the time
missed, I think I don't thinkyou're going to get many objections or complaints

(05:57):
from him. If that's how thingsshake out. Try this one. Uh
he comes back and uh Otani's killingit in the leadoff spot. Is there
a conversation, MOOKI, you wantto hit second, you want to hit
third, you want to move downin the lineup. What does Mookie go
right back to the leadoff spot?Yeah? I mean I think that's something
that again last year when the FreddieFreeman or when Trey Turner left and the

(06:26):
Dodgers trying to figure out you know, how the lineup was gonna look,
and what to do with the leadoffspot. You know, Mookie's message then
was, I, yes, I'vealways hit leadoff. I like leadoff,
but it's not something I demand todo. I'm not you know what it
to that spot. My guess isthat, at least initially, when he's
healthy, Mookie's gonna be the leadoffhitter again for this team. I don't

(06:50):
think that, you know, yeah, Shohotani's numbers have been really good since
he went into the leadoff spot, but that could be just a matter of
timing the fact that, you know, he's got his swing in a good
spot just when Mookie got hurt. He's always been a good player in June.
So you know, as far asI see it, I don't think
that you know Otani's doing better becausehe's a leadoff hitter. I don't think

(07:13):
that he's going to be demanding theDodgers to keep him there. Maybe if
Mookie comes back and either he struggles, or if Tawny struggles, or if
they feel like they need to mixup the line up in some way,
they'll do that. But I thinkfor right now, my expectation is Mookie's
going to go back to hitting theleadoff when he's healthy, and I don't
think it'll have a huge impact onany of their performances. Yeah, and
I think that probably helps send themconvince him to go to second base if

(07:40):
they leave him at the leadoff spot. I think that that that softens the
blow a little bit. Jack. You know, everybody obviously is waiting for
this team to get to October tosee what happens. Managing from now until
then is going to be interesting. And how Dave rob deals with you know,

(08:01):
pitching and you know, Todder Glastowis going more innings and he's ever
thrown and how do you manage him? How did the Dodgers really navigate these
next couple of months leading up toOctober, Because again, it's a pretty
much a fourgone conclusion. They're goingto win the West, but it is
all about October with this team, and what do you do from now and

(08:22):
then outside of you know, gettinghealthy. Yeah, I mean this is
a dance that this team's been familiarwith the last couple of years of having
a big division lead, knowing thattheir postseason fate was locked up early in
the season, and trying to strikethat balance between keeping a sense of urgency
and trying to win as many gamesas you can, but also protecting your

(08:43):
roster and protecting its injuries, andespecially with the pitching staff, managing workloads.
I think as far as this seasonis concerned, there's a couple of
things. One, you've got tokeep Tyler Glass now healthy but also effective,
right, and that's kind of thetricky balance. He's going to be
in his next probably three or fourstarts, he's going to surpass his career,

(09:05):
his previous career high and innings pitched. Dave Roberts has already talked about,
you know, looking for ways tosteal an inning here or there from
him to try to manage the workload. I think the interesting question for the
Dodgers with him is going to bedo you give him a break at some
point? You know, if he'sgetting up near one hundred and fifty one
hundred and sixty innings, which he'snever pitched more than one hundred and twenty

(09:26):
in a season before, do youthink about skipping a start something like that.
But then you also have to weighthat with if he's pitching well,
you know, do you knock himout of his routine. How do you
again, how do you kind ofmatch you know, maximizing performance while also
protecting against health. I think thesame thing applies to some of the guys
in the lineup. I think themagilt Rojas piece of this is another example

(09:48):
of that, where you want thatguy to be healthy and at his best
when you get to October. Youdon't want to overburden him. But there
is also some dynamics with the standings, like, yes, the Dodgers are
going to most likely when it's probablynot going to be a close race there,
but there are a couple of gamesbehind the Phillies for the top seed
in the National League. I thinkif there's any team in baseball that you

(10:09):
would like to have home field advantageover or not have to go on the
road to face, it probably isa team like the Phillies, and it
is that kind of environment in thatballpark. So there are still things to
play for, you know, theystill have to figure out, you know,
depending on Yoshinobu Yamamoto's help. Youknow, is he going to come
back? And if not, whoare the other pitchers that we trust the
most. So it becomes a littlebit of a dress rehearsal for October.

(10:31):
But yeah, first and foremost withthis team, it's keeping the pitching staff
healthy, it's keeping the roster atlarge healthy, and it's trying to make
sure that when you get to thepostseason, you've done that while also trying
to keep some of these guys youknow, performing at a high level.
So Jack trade deadline will be heresoon enough. Everybody talks about what they

(10:52):
need, what they don't need.I don't see them doing anything major.
It's a trade deadline, do you. I don't see a lot of major
possibilities. Now, there are afew moves that could make sense for them.
I think the most obvious one isgetting another front line pitcher like a
Garrett Crochet, who is somebody theDodgers have been evaluating for some time now.

(11:18):
They've been linked to in a lotof reports lately about their interest in
him. He is probably the oneguy who's going, who is believed to
be likely moved by the deadline, who you'd feel pretty confident is an impact,
top of the rotation kind of picture, the kind of guy that you
know can help you win games inOctober, and I think that's kind of

(11:39):
the bar for the Dodgers right now, right Hey Jack, Jack, let
me just stop you because I wantto ask you about Crochet because Vic mentioned
it last week. Any cost controlled, why would the White Sox move him?
You know, they're in a placeright now where he's got a couple
of years of team control FDS,but they're also so far from competitive myths

(12:00):
that you know, that's the kindof guy that if you can move him
early and you can get a reallybig return back, you're maybe setting your
organization up a little bit better longterm to compete if you don't feel like
you're going to be a playoff teamin the next couple of years. But
it's because of that dynamic that makesit tricky for the Dodgers, right because
you know, if you're the Dodgers, you feel kind you feel pretty good
about your long term outlook starting pitchingwise with Yoshinoba Yamamoto and Gavin Stone and

(12:26):
Bobby Miller and some of the otherguys that can go out and pursue in
the next couple of years. Sothey're going to have to ask themselves,
do we want to potentially overpay fora pitcher like Eric Crochet who is not
flawless right, Like, he hashis own workload management questions right now.
He's not somebody who has an extensivepostseason track record, but he's also the

(12:48):
American League leader in strikeouts. Hehas the kind of stuff that right now,
outside of Tyler glasnow maybe Gavin Stone, Like that's the one piece the
Dodgers are missing, right It's whodo you really feel confident about already Game
two or Game three of a playoffseries at this moment in time for the
Dodgers, And I think Yamamoto isa pretty big question mark given the shoulder
injury. You know, Bobby Millerhas not looked as good as he did

(13:11):
last year and has had his owninjury this year. Walker Wheeler's back on
the IL, Clayton Kershaw has hadhis return from his shoulder injury slowed.
So that's the most obvious need. And I think that's the kind of guy
that you know, if you're theDodgers and you really want to give yourself
every best chance to win a WorldSeries this year, that's the kind of
guy you got to go get.But it's also the kind of move we've

(13:31):
seen them shy away from in thepast, where you know, if they
don't feel like they're getting good valueon a deal, they they'll walk away
from it. And I think theway the pitching staff is set up right
now, the way that like thisteam is performing, yeah, I would
not be surprised if they feel likethe market or the prices for an impact
player like that on the market arejust too high and don't align with sort

(13:54):
of their short term and long termvision of how to build the roster.
And that's where the next couple weekgoing to be interesting, because outside of
a Garrett Crochet, right, there'snot a lot of other like true certain
frontline pitchers. You know, somebodylike Jack Clarity is good and can maybe
be a surprise October contributor, buthe's not a for sure thing, you

(14:15):
know, even on the offensive side, right, Boba Schet's probably the best
shortstop. He might be available togo get, but he's a guy who
has some defensive questions and hasn't beensuper consistent with the bad and he's had
some injuries over the last year.So it's a really interesting market where you're
gonna have a lot of buyers, prices are going to be inflated, and
there just aren't a lot of impactplayers, because a lot of them have

(14:37):
already moved, like Dylan Sie's hasalready moved, Luisa Rise has already moved,
Corbn Burn's already moved, like alot of the pending free agents have
already switched teams. So now you'relooking at guys with either years of control
left or guys that are just goingto be a lot more costly than the
Dodgers have typically liked to do.So that's where this next month is interesting.
I think that's where if you're theDodgers, you have to really take

(14:58):
stock of who do we trust.Do we think we have enough for October?
And if not, how much arewe willing to pay to go get
some premium help and to fundamentally changeour roster or fundamentally reinforce something like the
starting rotation or the lineup. HeyJack, how impressed are you just just
because you cover it every day?Or and sometimes we get numb. I'm

(15:20):
already with the way Otani is playingand the things that he's able to do,
and he's not even pitching yet.But when I look at it,
I go he made the absolute rightchoice to come to the Dodgers, because
long term, think about where he'shitting, and the and the supporting cast

(15:43):
that he has around him, youknow, whereas I think with the Angels,
you know, with with Mike Troutthere, yes it's great, but
Mike Trout has been injured, butthey can't really pitch around o'tani like they
may have done in the past becauseof the Dodger lineup. And I think
he's really I mean, he's agreat hitter and great player, but I
think he's only going to continue tobenefit because of who the Dodgers have in

(16:07):
their lineup. Yeah, I meanthat was one of the I think appeals
that the Dodgers saw and themselves whenthey were pursuing o'kani, that they could
give him the kind of lineup thathe didn't consistently have at Anaheim. You
know, that he wouldn't have tobe shouldering all the load, that he'd
have some lineup protection. I thinkthe other thing is, you know,
he's independent race for the first time, he's he's on a team where every

(16:30):
game carries a different kind of meaningthan it ever did before. You know,
we've seen him have kind of similarproductive outbursts like he's on right now,
and like he's put together the firsthalf of the season right where he's
on pace for about fifty home runs, where he's going to be a starter
in the All Star Game, wherehe's going to be in the middle of
an MVP conversation. But what's differentthis year is it's also coming on a

(16:52):
team that's winning a lot of games, where he's the reason that there were
a main reason they're winning a lotof games, and you know, he
can start actually looking ahead to playingOctober baseball and being in a postseason environment
and truly trying to contend for aWorld Series. So yeah, I think
it's all those things that when hecame to the Dodgers, you know,

(17:12):
made them seem like a good fitfor him, and at least for the
first half of this season, youknow, that's what you're seeing. Better
line of protection, a better teamoverall, and just a different kind of
experience for a guy who, yeah, has just never kind of been in
this situation before in his MLB career. Isn't it funny when you think about
it, he's never been in thissituation when you watch him with the Dodgers,

(17:36):
and obviously it's a very small samplesize so far, but you're watching
with the Dodgers, and you think, oh, of course he's been at
it, because that's what the Dodger'sdoing. He's there. This is really
the first time he's experiencing this.I find that fascinating. Yeah, and
it's been interesting to watch, Ithink, you know, especially the closer
we get to October, when thegames really start to get me, I

(18:00):
think it's going to add another layer. But you know, it's even like
earlier this year, he struggled alittle bit early in the season with runners
and scoring position. I think that'sa story or that was a subplot that
might not have mattered as much inthe past, but then was a really
big deal early in the year. He's gotten better in those situations as the
year has gone on. I thinksome of the you know, like clutch

(18:21):
hitting situations or just situational hitting situations, Like there's just a lot more hyper
focus on a lot of those differentthings because of that, right, because
you know, it's it's more thanjust is he ops in one thousand and
is he on pace for fifty homeruns? And you know, is he'
batting over three hundred? Like it'snot only the high level production that matters,

(18:41):
but also the little things on agame by game basis that it's been
interesting watching him approach those situations, explain them to reporters, you know,
a postgame about how it feels differentand why it's you know, just a
little bit more invigorating full for him. And I think that's only going to
continue to grow, you know, the closer you get to postseason baseball.

(19:04):
All right, now I'm not madat you anymore because you came back on
today. Because I was mad,Jacket, I wouldn't put up with it.
I missed you, I wanted youon more. So now I'm happy
again. Yeah, well anytime,it's yeah, it's, there's, there's.
I think there's gonna be a lot. It's gonna be interesting to see
how this team kind of stries toposition itself going into October and and and

(19:26):
going in for a postseason run.I think it's going to be carrying as
much pressure as any as we've seenthe last couple of years. So yeah,
there's gonna be lots to talk about. All right, Thanks, Jack,
appreciate it. Yeah, you seeyou guys, thinks. All right,
catch the boys in Blue right hereon a five seventy l A sports
stream all the games at HT andthe iHeartRadio. I have the keyboard a

(19:47):
five seventy LA Sports. Listen tothe games on the top of the six
to four the Andre Ethier Q tocall and you could win a one hundred
dollars gift card to Superior Grossers. All right, Rodney, we have to
bring Vicon, but oh uh,you know what, I've got this story.

(20:07):
All right, got a story.I'm gonna bring it up, ask
you what you what you would do, and then we'll bring Vicon. All
right, okay, all righty, let's go. Yeah, they smile in
your face all the time. Theywant to take your place stuff backstaff.

(20:30):
Yeah, come on, it's amonday to be fred Rogan. Come on,
Freddy, tell me about it.All right, here's the dilemma.
What do you do? Uh,there's a wedding, right the family is
invited. Your cousin is invited. Now, your cousin weighs six hundred pounds.
Your cousin can't move around real well. And by the way, the

(20:55):
cousin needs you to take them tothe wedding. Now, right off the
bat, you have a Kia anOptima, So the six hundred pound cousin
won't fit in the car. Butsomehow you figure out a way to get
them to where the area is.Now the problem it's outside, it's on

(21:18):
the grass, and the cousin hassome sort of device, but they won't
let it go on the grass,so it can't go. So now you
have your six hundred pound cousin, but they want to go to the wedding
and it's on the grass. Sothen the suggestion is push your push this

(21:41):
person in a wheelchair. Well, you say, I cannot push someone six
hundred pounds in a wheelchair. Ijust physically can't do it. So they
come up with another idea to getthe person close enough. They're gonna get
a flatbed truck and they're gonna loadthe person on the truck. This is
a truck that delivered some of thethings for the wedding, but it can

(22:04):
drive up to where the ceremony is. Now, the cousin says, I'm
not going on the truck. That'sthe meaning, you're not gonna put me
up on a big truck. Aflatbed truck can drive me there. I
want you to push me, andthe other one says I can't push,
And there's the dilemma. The cousinis mad, but the family member won't

(22:29):
push. The family member says,I can't push. It's six hundred pounds.
We'll put you on the flatbed truck. What do you do? Let
me get this straight. So right, you can't you can't physically. You've

(22:52):
let your cousin know. You can'tphysically push the cousin because it just won't.
Well, you can't do it physically. You just can't push a six
hundred pound person grasp because it's difficult. Right, it's not traction like like
cement or anything like that, aregular vote, right, So that's not
that's even if you wanted to physically, you can't do it till the only
other option is the flatbed. Yes, the cousin doesn't want to be on

(23:17):
the flatbed because he says it's demeaning, that's humiliating. Yeah, well it's
either the flatbed or or nothing. There's no other You tell me another option.
Because I can't push you. Youtell me it's balls in your court.
I can't push you. There's aflatbed that can clearly get you there,

(23:41):
but I can't push you, Soit's on you. I'm here to
support you anyway, but I can'tsupport that. Literally, no, I
don't see you know, I don'tsee how because and doesn't have a flat
bed to lay on. Because wecan't move your cousin. We can't move

(24:06):
you can't move you. No,we can't move you. We want you
to go, and we came upwith an alternative plan. But if you
don't want to go, there's nothingwe can do. All right, let's
bring on Vic. Let's do whatVick wid you. Because Vic's got a
huge heart. Vic might start pushingthat wheelchair with a Monday beginning of the

(24:30):
fourth of July week, Haiku,we welcome on Victor Break and Vic.
Good afternoon, Fred. That's avery penetrating question. And you know,
I'm a big fan of six hundredPound Sisters in the Learning Channel, so
I'm very familiar. Stop stop,I've heard what are you talking about?

(24:55):
Life? I've heard that show mysix hundred pound Life or whatever. But
six hundred Punds Sisters, Vick.I believe it's a spin off on TLC.
But I'm a big fan of theshow because it shows you the desire
you know of you know, thepeople who have to lose hundreds and hundreds

(25:15):
of pounds and their journey. It'sit's heartbreaking. But when you start seeing
them hit the scales and losing theweight, you just, you know,
rooting them on. You're so you'reso happy for them, you know,
because it's such an incredible dedication. But in this case, Fred, you
gotta go. You gotta you gottause any option you can. I go

(25:36):
flatbed. But the cousin's being difficult. Vic. The cousin says, I
won't go on the flatbed. It'shumiliating to go on a flatbed. You
better push me, Vick. That'sa that's a very difficult choice. However,
to get it done, you gotto get it done. You know
you're gonna you want to attend thewedding. Vic, I weigh six hundred

(26:00):
pounds. I tell you, Iwant you to push me in a wheelchair.
You say, Fred, I can'tpush you in the wheelchair. You're
six hundred pounds and we're gonna begoing on grass and there's no traction.
But I got a plan. Whatis it. I got a flatbed.
We're gonna get you up on aflatbed and drive you right up there.
And I go, no, Vic, that's not gonna work. That's the
meaning and humiliating to me, I'mnot doing it. What are you supposed

(26:25):
to do at that point? Vic? That's my point. There's nothing insane
dilemma, Fred, insane dilemma. But the whole purpose is to you know,
attend the wedding. So whatever meansit takes. And the flatbag is
flatbed is a good option. Youjust have to sell the You got to
sell the flatbed to the six hundredpound person. Yeah, I think that's

(26:52):
the only option, right, Yeah, she's not buying. She just didn't
want to be humiliated though that. You could lower in on a crane.
Okay, that'll be even more tomeeting Fred abound like electric scooter. They
say, because it's outside on thegrass, you can't do it. M

(27:12):
hm. That's indeed a horrific problem. By the way, viaca un sounds
good. You undersold the sisters. It's a thousand pounds sisters on thousand pounds,

(27:34):
but it's got it. They're combined, right, combined in not one
way that that looks to be thecase, Fred, Yes, tremendous show.
What are they doing the show?Vic? They lose weight and it
is their journey of losing the hundredsand hundreds and hundreds of pounds and the
sacrifices they have to make, andit's it's a it's a tremendous show.

(27:56):
Really, I will say, I'mlooking at the list of their episode titles
and they're very clever. Bringing homethe bacon fork you, I'm done,
well, done and over with thegrapes of wrath, the custardy battle,
Fried cried and tired. Deal withit, Sunflower, pretty good, deal

(28:22):
with it, like deal Pickle, exactly, deal with it. It's so,
it's so, it's so hard.Obviously, we all have challenges in
life. We have so many challengesin life. Everyone has different challenges.
But knowing that you have to losehundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pounds is

(28:45):
so herculean in nature. And myheart goes out to you know, you
know, to the five hundred poundersand the six hundred pounders. But they
lose the way, it's amazing. You know. They see that the specialist

(29:07):
a doctor in Houston, Texas, and he puts them on programs and then
then they lose the weight. Dothey take medication, No, it's basically
die in an exercise. Amazing. And what's amazing, Fred is that fresh
and fabulous into it? Though? How about that, Fred rogan Vic,

(29:30):
everybody's got to go see that thing. That is going to be unbelievable.
I'm telling you that you're going tohave to experience a game there like the
Clippers hate the Clippers, Who cares? You got to experience a game there.
You just got to see what that'sgoing to be. Like another taj

(29:51):
Mahal of the hood. Yep,although I don't think Mayor Butts would quite
call it that a taj Mahal ofthe hood. Probably wouldn't go quite there.
Vic. You don't think you'd gofor that. No, he'd chuckle,
and then he'd go, what wasthat? Well, how about giving

(30:14):
money back to the property owners ofInglewood? I mean, that's unprecedented.
Wasn't accomplishment? That was cool?I'll give you that. That was really
cool. I was blown away whenI heard that, just blown away.
Also a blown away again. Congratulationsinto the California Sports Hall of Fame,
Rodney Pete. Oh, just dBRodney of course, who very kindly buried

(30:40):
the lead and decided to bring thatup at one point thirty Rodney, it's
worth a mention at the top.Kind of think somebody else would have brought
that up instead of the person thatwas doing it. I know, and
I'd forgotten it happened last night. It's saying for it. Yeah, I
forgot otherwise I would have brought itup. I'm just kidding all. No,
that was we should have done thatat the time. Ah good.

(31:04):
He is our Hall of Famer,Kevin Fake come on nah a musical royalty.
He cuts deep and dynamic musically everyday. Ronnie Fossil have gong will
travel? Yeah, King Flavor boomhm. Well, can you say free

(31:26):
agent flus free agent flux is It'sbut this is unprecedented in the NBA.
The action, and for me,the most prominent is the loss of Paul
George to the from the Clippers tothe Philadelphia seventy six ers. I mean
that fourth year man, he wasso hungry for that fourth year on his

(31:49):
deal gets it with the Sixers. But the devastating loss to the Clippers immediately,
the Clipper odds to win the NBAtitle went down twenty percent in vas.
I mean, it's well documented whatthe Clippers gave up to unite the
pride of Palmdale with Kawhi. Imean shake gelgis Alexander's shake gelgis Alexander is

(32:12):
a pretty all pronown yep. Ofthe five first round draft picks, one
was Jalen Williams out of Santa Clara, averaging nineteen points a game with Okcan.
It was a steep price to pay. The Clippers paid it. They
wanted. You know, there weretidal aspirations. Everyone said yes Kawhi Pg.

(32:32):
Thirteen, the whole Los Angeles flavor, Riverside Palmdale. Then you bring
in James Hard and the Beard outof Artisia Lakeside High. I mean,
there was such a when you getto Lakeside High, you gotta gotta catch
a breath. You gotta do that. All right, Mag's back with the

(32:54):
hikup and more. Come on,let's bring it home back, gotta have
it, gotta have it. Rodneyb Fred, Rogan, Vick, the
brick Jacob, come on now, come on, Vic. Just to recap
the Clipper free agent flux today, they did give love to the beer James

(33:17):
Hard in the two year seventy. They also hooked up beloved former Clipper Nick
Bertom, very popular player, niceforward. Plus I love this deal.
Clippers also got former Dallas Maverick forwardDerek Jones Junior three years thirty mil.

(33:38):
If you remember, Jones stuffed bothKawhi and PG on successive positions in the
recent playoffs. So Derek Jones verynice player. Russell Westbrook opts back to
the Clips at four million, butcould be on his way to Denver.
Remember Nuggets lost Kpcito, Orlando Jacksonalready gone to free agent Frenzy y'all.

(34:06):
Of course the Lakers yikes, andFred I hear you, Lebron l structure.
The word was out. He waswilling to give up twenty five million
dollars to get claim Thompson. Butof course Clay went to Dallas three years
fifty. Who's left for the Lakersin the free agent pool. I mean

(34:30):
DeMar DeRozan, Okay, beautiful midrange out of Compton Brook Lopez apparently heating
up talks a former Laker. Rememberone year Lopez played center, but very
thin pickings. But DeMar DeRozan wouldbe a nice pickup. If I'm Polinka,

(34:52):
I'm centering my efforts on DeMar,well, he might be it exactly.
It's thin pickings out there right now. You guys watched the b T
