Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, we continue on Fred Rogan Jonas Knox Today
for Rodney on five seventy LA Sports talking offul lot
about the Dodgers and Angels in our one. Now we
need to bring somebody on that really knows their stuff, Jonas,
enough fooling around. We've got to have somebody here that
knows what they're talking about. And that man, by the way,
is someone many years ago. I think the Daily News
(00:23):
used to have a poll and you would vote for
the best sportscaster, the best studio host, the best this
the best bet and if I remember correctly, all of
the sportscasters themselves and the sports media people had a
chance to vote. I always voted this man as the
best host in television each and every time. Patrick O'Neill,
(00:44):
and it is a pleasure to welcome Patrick to the show.
So Patrick, how are you so?
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Your vote, Fred and my sixty two votes from all
the computers I could find, got that win for men.
You know what to be on, to be on with
the Dean and join a cup of Joe. It's a
great day.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Geez you geez there you go.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
All right, let's start with this because I said earlier,
you know, we need somebody who'll come on and talk
honestly about the Angels. And then I said, well, maybe
you're not the guy because I don't know how honest
you'll be. Will you be honest about the Angels?
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Of course? Right, of course, you know what it's I'll
tell you what Fred. Last night was great energy and
even though the Angels lost, they went toe to toe
with the Dodgers, who have the best record in all
of baseball Otani coming back. The place was absolutely buzzing,
and I was sitting in the stands with my old
high school but before I run on the field to
host a just an epic postgame show with Tim Salmon Kingfish.
(01:38):
And they decide right, Washington decides it's a three two game, right,
the Dodgers get that go ahead round. They decide with
first base open after like a weird back call or whatever.
You have to walk show a in that situation, I
know you got to go to Mookie bets. But the
crowd and there were two old Angel fans. These guys
were veterans. They got up and walked out. They were
they missed Mookie's three home run. They were so upset
(02:01):
Angel stands that they walked show, Hey, which is the
right baseball decision to make it you're trying to win.
You want to get a force out somehow. I know
it's mooky. Maybe you walk Mooki and then you walk
Freddy and you load the bases and get to the
next guy. But it was a fun game. The Angels
another losing season, nine straight. It's not fun losing. But
(02:22):
there's a lot of youth and they're developing some arms.
Fred Jonas, They're getting some young guys up in these trades.
You know, Paramannassy is not afraid to have these guys
that they just draft come up. Unfortunately, Christian Moore dealing
with a bit of an injury when eight's overall second basement.
I do feel I'm not just saying this that the
Angels are developing something similar to what they were doing
(02:42):
in the late nineties which led to two thousand and two.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
So we were kind of surprised and just in looking
at the attendance numbers that they still draw pretty well,
that the Angels still do on average a pretty good
home crowd. What do you attribute that to? Is it
the optimism or is it the la out of the ballpark? Like,
why do you think that is.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Well where in southern California, every day is absolutely perfect.
It's a great fan base and there's some good, exciting
young players. Listen, Zach Nedow's a stud. He's got twenty homers,
which is and twenty stolen twenty plus stolen bases, twenty
plus doubles. No angels infielder has ever done that in
the history in sixty two years. Right of franchise, you
(03:23):
got Logan Ohapi behind the dish, who's caught more innings
than any other player in baseball. He's been in a
bit of a slump offensively, did homer last night. Nolan
shawna well at first base, you got some young arms
like Jose Soriano. This guy can flat out deal, like
lock this guy up. I'm not kidding, he is that good.
And then you've got guys like Kohanowitz Jack o'hannowitz. That's right,
(03:44):
it's a lot of letters. I think it's thirteen rookie
got a w four straight quality starts, and some guys
on the you know in the minor leagues that are
gonna come up, and like Cayden Dana have you, he's
our top prospect. Got to win on Sunday against Seattle
and a nice series victory over the Maris. The team battles,
there's grit, there's fight. It's not gonna be winning season, unfortunately,
(04:05):
but we're building something, and I think the fans see it.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
All right, What do you think when you look across
the dug out and see the Dodgers.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
I think it's a really good team. But are they
gonna choke again in the playoffs? I think, well, don't
they every year?
Speaker 1 (04:18):
I mean, you don't see all right?
Speaker 2 (04:19):
All right now, I'm asking legitimately, do they not choke
every year in the playffs? If you count Jesus, if
you count twenty twenty as a World Series victory, flat
out asterisk all day long, it has to be they didn't.
They didn't have a full replayed sixty games. I know
everybody had to do to the same thing. And then
(04:41):
you know in neutral site there Texas and and go
through the tournament. That's not that's not a championship. So
we'll see what they do. I will say this for Otani,
and I think Dodger fans are are blinded by the
fact that they don't realize Sotani he had a better
year last year than he's doing now. He may be
the first fifty to fifty guy. But first of all,
you know why I steally fifty Fred and Jonas because
he's not pitching. He's not the hate of the staff
(05:03):
winning ten games, so he's got his legs he could steal.
Last year he won ten games from fifteen games a
year before that. He's an absolute stud on the bump.
And when the Dodger fans see what we saw when
he won two unanimous MVPs, which will do again this year,
and finished second the other year and won a Rookie
of the Year in his six years, when they see
him pitching next year and hitting, then they'll realize, oh
(05:24):
my god, that's the unicorn.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Uh what Now? This is the first year, obviously for
Dodger fans and Dodger media dealing with Otani exclusively outside
of you know, when they would play the Angels. From
your experience in being around him, what sort of person?
What sort of vibe does he give off all those
years that you spent with him?
Speaker 2 (05:44):
He is so focused on baseball and he didn't have
this an amazing dog ekoy or a wife that dog
throwing out the first pitch my god, how does he
have time to train that dog, by the way, and
continue to match. The thing is he was so laser
focused these years as an Angel because he's pitched and
hitting that he was just you never had a chance
to see. I think the fun side that you're seeing
(06:05):
right now because he doesn't have to worry about pitching
every exist sixth day. He could just concentrate on dhing
and so you know, and plus they're winning, right, so
you know it sucks to lose. They're winning. They got
a great club over there, and so I think you're
seeing the side of show Ay that he can bring.
He's he's a superstar, and I think what the Angels
are missing with the gate and with the I mean
the lines at the team store, they must be the
(06:28):
same thing, right. All you see is Otani jerseys and
people flying in from all over the world, obviously from Japan,
storing their luggage somewhere just to see show he Otani's
It's in Crime went to Japan last year. Every single
newspaper and there's about eighteen a day have him on
the front and back every single day. So he deals
with a lot. But he's by far and away the
(06:49):
best baseball player in the history of the game.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Are they still selling Otani jerseys down in the team store? So?
Speaker 2 (06:59):
I don't think so, all right.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Because somebody said they were really.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Yeah, I'll you know what, I'm gonna check on that
today and I'll get back to you.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Thank you. And what was that crack? What was that crack?
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Oh, they choke every year or whatever? You said? What
what are you talking about? They're in the conversation every year.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Oh my god, did I Do you think I rankled
some Dodgers fans? It seems like I rattled. I rattled
the cage of the dean and a cup of joe
shaking and ring over there. Let's what happens. They choke
every year? Oh no, they do every single year. Their
last championship was nineteen eighty eight, Fred, when you were
(07:41):
dominating once again every year, year in and year out.
Jonas in nineteen ninety two, I went to Barcelona with
my two buddies, were like twenty four twenty five, and
we're a little little uh, I don't know, brasserie and starstruck.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
We were.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
There's Fred Rogan nineteen ninety two, starstrucks. I mean, now
the guys an absolute legend. And when when I see
you Fred at the King's game, I'm going to talk
to you about these Otani jersey supposedly being you know,
sold in the in the not possible in the Angel
team shore. But can we get Jonas to a King's game?
So we talk about Kings hockey.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
Let's do it. Yeah, let's let's make it happen. I mean,
if I can get an invite from Fred. But last
time I saw Fred out in public, he had like
his handlers moved me and escort me to the side
because't to deal with. He had like a brand new
bottle of Merlow he had to get to. That was
more important.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
You have to talk to Dodgers that moves the needle.
Not well, we'll talk hockey in our in our in
our spare time. Don't worry. But listen, I'm fired up
for today. I mean, the Angels had a chance to
win last night. They win this when they split the
series and you got the Griffin canning on the bumps,
let's go your awards. Got a thirteen game hit Halos.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
No one cares, No one cares, all right, I love it,
No nobody really does. All right. Now, listen what about
the Kings. Nobody cares about the Angels, all right, some
people do.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Jonahs just said about the attendants. They're they're great fans.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Us road drawing baseball.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
All right, enough, I haven't seen you down there, Fred,
Come on down. I'll treat in the Diamond Club.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
What do you mean why I went down there when played?
I like follow Otani when he played for the Angels.
I went to games.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
This is Southern California. You're representing Southern California sports.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
Come on all right, no, wait, talk about the Kings.
What do you think this year? Real quick?
Speaker 2 (09:22):
It comes down to goaltending, right Fred? And you know
with with Darcy Kemper, And also you know you're gonna
move Quintin Byfield to center. Now he was so good
on the wing with co Patar, so you know, how
is he going to do? I want to see this
guy win the least fifty percent of this draws. So
if he doesn't win face offs, that to me is
an issue. And Bran Clark, this year is his year.
You know this, this rookie stud defenseman so dynamic offensively.
(09:44):
You know, I don't want to compare him to Kyle mccarr,
but he's got tremendous skills goaltending and a new offense.
Jim Hiller behind the bench I think is going to
be It's a great move to hire him full time.
It's a fun team and so hopefully it's another playoff team.
But you know every year that they're trying to it all, you.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Know, yeah, well that's the key. Every year they're trying
to win it all. Kind of like the Angels trying
to win, kind of like the Dodgers.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Kind Of like the Dodgers, they do try to win.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
They just like Patrick, here's the key. All you can
do is put yourself in the conversation and the position
to win. And if you do that year in and
year out, you are serving your fan base. On the
other hand, if you're playing uh as the Angels do,
like you're walking down the back loud of Universal Studios
and the buildings look beautiful and you open the door
(10:31):
and inside it's just a bunch of wood. It's a facade.
That's the problem with the Angels. The Dodgers are in
the conversation, they spend the money, they try.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
It's a disservice to Zach Meadow and you know, and
Logan o'happy and Jose Soreano and these young studs that
are coming up, Cayden, Dana. These are real good baseball players.
They're building something. They're finding a way to win at
tough stretch, another tough year, but they're fighting and this
will pay off down the stretch. I was playoff atmosphere
last night. These guys are getting a chance to play
(11:02):
in that type vibe. It'll pay off when they are
in the playoffs and under the big lights.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
All right's Patrick, call your shot if the Angels went
in tonight or what?
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Yeah? I think the Angels do win this one, split
the series. I call five three viture.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
What do you think about that? Fred? Put that in
your pipe and smoke it.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Hey, you know what, I don't worry about results, not predictions.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Okay, that's all I care. This is talk radio. Isn't fun.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Yes, what we do, it is what we do.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
This is what we do. Get people fired up. People
are pulling over the side of the road. They're they're
they're they're exing me right now.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Yeah, you know what they probably are. But that's good
because that's talk radio.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
That's talk radio. Baby, It's so fun to be on
with you. Fred, you're the absolute best. I learned so
much from you and I appreciate the sport always. Thank
you guys so much.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
All right, Patrick, take it easy. There goes our buddy,
Patrick O'Neil. I love Patrick's gat I love them. He's
you know, but I see I'll tell you what, what
kind of kind of wrinkles me a little bit about
why do you have to you know, he's talk and
we're having a conversation. They'ing bam, why do you have
to jab a little bit?
Speaker 3 (12:04):
I way listen. It's what you know. He saw an opportunity.
He knew all the jokes that have been made. They're
probably sick and tired of hearing about why can't you
be like them up there? And so this was his
chance and he got a little he got his licks in.
You can't blame him. You'd do the same thing. Like
you imagine if Roger Lodge ever had you on, you'd
wear his ass out.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
Fred, I probably would.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
That's a good point.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Actually, it's a fair point. I'd probably would take every
chance I had. Just a lot of happened in that regard.
Patrick did well. A word from Jacob all right, if
you were recently injured in an accident, but you haven't
called our friend Jacob yet. What are you waiting for?
Not taking action may cost your money? What does it mean.
(12:49):
Let's say you were injured in a car accident a
few months ago. You thought the pain in your back
would go way, so you never went to see a doctor. Now,
a few months later, it's getting worse each week. The
problem is because it has been a few months since
he accident, it is much more difficult to prove that
your back pain was caused by that accident. Therefore, you'll
probably have to pay for this yourself. Why are you
doing that to yourself? What's wrong with you? If you're
(13:11):
injured in an accident, call Jacob immediately. He'll get you
into the doctor. No money out of pocket. You can
physically recover and quickly not have to pay for it yourself.
Consultation is free. If you prefer to meet face to face,
Jacob's team can come to you. If you need me
to sit in on that meeting with Jacob, I will
do that. Or you can go to Jacob's office stat
you do that in as a little bonus. When you
(13:32):
called attorney, you want one who's respected you call Jacob,
He's the real deal. Call him eight four four twenty four.
Jacob eight four four twenty four. Jacob at Consultation is
Free eight four four twenty four. Jacob or visit called
Jacob dot com. All right, you want to hear the
Disneyland story?
Speaker 3 (13:52):
Oh? I gotta hear it?
Speaker 1 (13:53):
You really have not heard about that?
Speaker 3 (13:55):
No? I mean maybe when you start talking it'll remind
me or refresh my memory.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
But a lawsuit and somebody getting drunk? Have you heard
about it?
Speaker 3 (14:03):
No?
Speaker 1 (14:04):
All right, well we'll do that next. All right. Jonas
Knox is in today for Rodney and that'll be along
in a bit, and Vick will have of course, he's
always exciting spirituality in Daily Haiku at two we're only
on two hours. Today is the Dodgers and Angels wrap
that series up down in Anaheim tonight?
Speaker 3 (14:24):
By the way, how bad do you think Patrick O'Neill's
getting ripped to shreds on social media right now? For
by Dodger fans?
Speaker 1 (14:31):
All right, all right, Jonas, I'm having a little trouble
hearing you.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
What can you hear me? Now?
Speaker 1 (14:36):
A little better? Little bit?
Speaker 3 (14:38):
How bad do you think Patrick O'Neill is getting ripped
to shreds by Dodger fans on.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
So he's getting media right now, he's definitely getting it.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
I'll mean, you know, you got to give the guy credit.
He came in firing, you know, and he was an
enemy territory and just said, screw it, let's make this
happen right now.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Oh absolutely, yeah. Well you know he stood up, he said,
it's sports radio. I love Patrick, I really do. For
many years, I believe he was the best kind of
studio host guy in the city, and I loved that
he came on today. He was very kind. All right,
do you want to hear the Disneyland store.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
Well, let's get to it. Come on, let's got all right.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
Do you know there is an exclusive club there at Disneyland.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (15:19):
It is called Club thirty three. What all right? It's
a private club.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
Are those the dweebs that walk around with the like
the Chewbacca backpacks in their forties?
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Okay, maybe here's the deal. It's sort of like it's
a private club. It's like the Soho House or a
country club. It cost you thirty one thousand dollars a
year just to be there. Oh Jesus, all right, at Disneyland.
This private club. Now, they do sell alcohol in the
private club, so there's alcohol. I'm sure the food's a
(15:51):
little better. Yeah, you know. It's a great restaurant, not
like the usual Disney Fair where you could becoming paled
on a giant pickle. So it's a very exclusive private
members only. It's a big deal club. I've never been in,
by the way, nor have I ever wanted to go
(16:12):
thirty one thousand dollars a year just for the right
to go in. So there's this couple in Arizona and
they would go back and forth. And by the way,
with this, you have VIP tour special events, but it's
costing you. It's thirty one grand a year. Yeah, all right,
so and you can drink there. So they go in
(16:34):
because they would bring family and friends. I think I
said they spend one hundred and twenty five thousand dollars
a year on this club, traveling back and forth from Arizona,
bringing people in, hosting them at the club.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
And so you may have said this, but I'm just
doing the numbers now that as you're explaining this. But
for the thirty one grand a year, like you're not
paying extra for the alcohol. You're not paying any no,
I believe. Yeah, you're in the door, and so you
pay extra for the alcohol that's not inclusive in the now.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
I can be wrong. I can be wrong good, you know,
if you're walking around with your mouse ears and you know,
I could be wrong. But if you're a member of
a country club, you don't get the alcohol for free.
If you go to you know, whole house, you don't
get the alcohol.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
How would you know? Have you been a member of
a country club before?
Speaker 1 (17:17):
I know the people that have been, Oh.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
Yeah, you've never been a member of a country club.
Are you a Lake Sherwood guy? Or you a Tierra
Rohatta guy back in your days in the eight oh five.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Let's put it like this. I could have been a
lakeside guy, but I was never a guy. I was
never a country club guy.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
But I lost robolists, you know right around right around
the corner from Tarantula Hill where Petrick's Money do their
remotes every year.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (17:39):
No, okay, no, all right?
Speaker 1 (17:41):
So what happened was they went in and then they
left to do whatever they do in Disneyland, because my god,
you can't go there enough. I mean, you can't go
to Disneyland enough and they went all the time, and
I guess he had a couple of pops inside the
thirty three Club and some security guards found him, looked
(18:02):
at him and I said, you're drunk, and he goes,
I'm not drunk. They were no, you're drunk. You've had
too much to drink. They revoked their membership because one
of the rules is you can't be drunk in Disneyland.
They go to court. They're spending money now, and the
reason they're suing Disney is because they want to get
(18:22):
back in the club.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
First of all, they should be like, it's thirty one
that like, you just saved you thirty one grand a year.
Should be happy.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
So they go and they sue, and it takes a
while in court. So or you're running up attorney's fees.
They lost, they're out, They're out of the thirty three Club.
They're done.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
I mean, so, now, what's what's the what's option B? Like,
if you're gonna swear off Disneyland, what's next? Universal Studios?
I mean, I think Universal Studios is better in Disneyland anyways, personally.
Not Sperry Farms, Yeah, not Sperry Farms.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
And well, if you want ride, you go to Magic Mountain.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
And you know, Fred, If you want some good food,
nots Berry Farm has the best fried chicken. It's the
chicken there, right, Ronnie, the chicken is the best.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
I've never had it. I've never had.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
Jonas, It's worth the trip to Buena Park just for
the chicken alone.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
I mean, so you could do that on the way
to an Angels game. You know, if you want to
go see Shoho Tani again.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
You can always go to knots Berry Farm and pick
up that chicken.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Well, look if you did that, and that would be wise.
And I think Ronnie and Jonas make a valid point
because you understand what I'm about to say. If you
want to go to an angel game, but you're coming,
you know, from Los Angeles and you want to stop
and eat, go to knots Berry Farm and have the chicken.
Because that food in Anaheim is as bad, if not worse,
(19:46):
as it is at Sofi Stadium. Because the same company
does it legends that food is terrible. Wow, and everybody
could admit it. And the food at Sofi Stadium is
awful and everybody can admit it is bad. And you
know what, Jonas Adam. You know it, Ronnie, you know it.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
That's the truth.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Everybody knows it.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
You you f you right, god Fred.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
Everybody knows it. It is bad. Those hot dogs they
look like the kind that have been at seven eleven
for two months on that grill and oh yeah and
they breaking. Yeah, these are great, yeah, yeah, the ones
you get for a nickel.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
They're like and they've got the the the buns in
the bag that they didn't tie up properly, so they're dry.
So you gotta like, you gotta be careful. You got
to heat them up before you actually even open them,
because they're going to break apart and fall into shambles.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
Yeah, it's okay, guys, because they're packed with plenty of
nitrates to preserve them for.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
A long Now. I do want to say this, if
we're talking about like theme parks and like places to go.
You know where I went recently that I hadn't been
in years, and it was it's literally the same as
I remembered it. Everything the design, the features, Like can
you guess Bablo Island? No, I have no idea what
Babelo Island is?
Speaker 1 (21:11):
What island? You don't know? Bablo?
Speaker 2 (21:14):
No?
Speaker 3 (21:14):
I don't know Babelo Island island, now what you call
your pool.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Babelo Island. You would take the Babelo boat in Detroit
and go out to the island, the amusement park island.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Why the hell would I go to Detroit? Why would
I go to Babelo Island.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Well, you just asked if I knew all right here
it is what the answer legend city.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
No, that is incorrect. Golf and stuff on. No, No,
that I believe that one is the castle Castle Parks,
the one, the one that you're thinking of, Fred and
Sherman Oaks's Castle Park. Yeah, golf and stuff is in Ventura.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
I went there.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
Yeah, okay, been there. It's literally like it's it's like
a like a way back machine. You go there and
you like everything is still the way it was. So
like you think about like all the design of certain
things like back in the early nineties, late eighties, it's
that it's glorious. Now you can't there's no booze there,
so you probably wouldn't be interested. But they've got the
(22:15):
miniature golf, they've got the boats, they've got the little
indie cars, which probably aren't the safest in the world
for a three year old. Don't tell his mom that.
But the point is, like it is a throwback, Like
it's like you're going way back in time. So if
you go to golf and stuff, it's very vintage. Like
you get the little pencils when you want to ride
in your golf score so you can cheat in pencil.
(22:36):
It's so much fun. Yeah, the good golf and stuff's
a fun ride.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
Remember put putt golf?
Speaker 3 (22:41):
Yeah, where's that? That's what we remember it. That's what
miniature golf is. Correct, No, it's not.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
Do remember putt putt golf?
Speaker 3 (22:49):
No, remember put putt golf?
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Putt putt golf. They had a TV show and it
was miniature golf, but the holes were all kind of
designed by pros, and you played it on a on
like in a miniature golf setting. And they had tournaments,
national tournaments, and you could use putt putt balls or
when putt putt putters, and then they would have a
(23:12):
grand prize at the end of people that played putt
putt golf. It was a big deal. You don't remember that.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
No, I don't remember that. Yeah, I mean listen, I
was watching like real sports growing up. But again, I
mean people were into the put putt golf and if
they want to spend thirty one thousand dollars to go
be a nerd at Disneyland and get everything revoked and
lose all that money, then that's fine. I mean, everybody's
got choices to make.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
You remember pitt Point. No, all right, let's bring on Vic.
Let's bring on vict Now, I'll tell you about pin Point.
Here he comes with a daily high coup with two.
We welcome on Victor Brigg vicd afternoon.
Speaker 5 (23:47):
He's helping Taylor Swift draw up place.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Did they even start? I'm so fair, did it even start?
All right? Well, when we come back, we'll let Vic start,
and then I'll tell you about Pinpoint Show with Tim
Kits for the then She Sweet Life Challenge for your
chance to win sweet tickets to an upcoming game made
possible by then She Sushi, Fast, Fresh and easy. For
(24:21):
complete rules, look onto a five seventy LA sports dot Com.
Well think you know that leads us to.
Speaker 5 (24:30):
Well Fred before we get to the haikup. I just
want to give it up for the Dodgers. That was
a tough game last night. But everyone says to me, Vic,
where was everybody. When Altania was introduced, all the Dodgers
(24:53):
fans are stuck in traffic. Thus, when Altani was introduced
as at half empty stadium and that Kookie six thirty
eight starting time, then the Dodger fans took over the
Big eight. But Mooky Mooky Mooky took it to Temecula
(25:14):
for the winning blow and again emotionally charged night for
Otani's sign hit the big triple and of course the
intentional walk to get to Mooki. But again a collective
win for the Dodgers unless I say, Angels up. They're
(25:37):
playing with house money. They're the worst team in the
American League West, like you pointed out there, worse than
the Oakland As they're gonna play them tough. The Angels
are gonna play the Dodgers tough. I expect them the
tight game tonight there with Bobby Miller. But again some
love for Migey role. Mickey Rojas is playing some spectacular baseball.
(26:00):
He's not getting enough love. Migi Rojas had the big
RBI walk a Beulah five Maste frames and then locked
in bullpen show the love honey trying in Phillips Copek
Brazier the collective.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Hey, Vic, before you go any further, let's have a
word from Jacob. All right, we'll do it later. Oh okay,
I thought we would drop it in now, but no,
go ahead, bake.
Speaker 5 (26:40):
Ezra Frek. We talked about the great Ezra Frek yesterday.
The Power Olympic rock star leaps into more gold in Paris,
Ezra won the high jump world Power Olympic Games record
breaking leap. Y'all, he is a stuff, nineteen years bringing
(27:04):
joy to the world. We've grown up with Ezra. Fred
I mean you did shows from Ezra Dad's Angel City
Sports at UCLA, yep, bringing pure bliss to the planet.
On one leg, Ezra thinks greatness achieves greatness. He's a
nineteen year old rock star. His mission bring Power Olympic
(27:25):
Athletics into the mainstream. And Ezra, you're moving everybody with
your iron will, your indomitable spirit. Ezra, We love you,
Ezra Freckman. So afraid there will lead us to the source. Yes,
(27:50):
we wrote a high coup yesterday for Ezra and again
after winning the high job, we've got to give him
some more love as it applies to this incredible athlete.
And it's from take take Getsu. You guys know thee getsu. Yeah,
of course you g g E t s U take getsue.
(28:15):
In fact, we have some sound from Ezra hit.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Me crowded a rhythm.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
Drink.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
He will not be died.
Speaker 5 (28:28):
He was not denied two gold medals, Ezra Freckman. Well, this,
this high coup directly applies to Ezra.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Oh something like this.
Speaker 5 (28:41):
All right, this high coup for you on this Wednesday,
September the third, bathed in the still moonlight the temple.
Here's the lotus buds burst into bloom tonight, Ezra bursting
into bloom in Paris.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
I'm feeling you.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
I mean, I love it.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
No, it was very solid. I mean it was it
was very solid.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
And by the way, he didn't even let you like
try and steer him into it. Vic knew when it
was time, he knew not gonna take your crap anymore.
What do you mean trying to rush it along? You
know that means that leads us to It's like, come on.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Well, it kind of leads us to it every day,
just when we got to get to it.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
Yeah, but you didn't need to, like, you know, you
don't need to push him all the time. I mean
he didn't even get to say his hellos to everybody.
I didn't even get to say hello to Big today.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
Do you want to say it now? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (29:38):
I would like to go ahead. Oh uh, puppy, All.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
Right, now a word from Jacob. If you were recently
injured in an accident, but you've not called our friend
Jacob yet, what are you waiting for? Not taking the
action may cost your money? What does it mean? I'll
tell you were injured the car wreck a few months ago.
You thought the pay and your back would go away,
so you never went to see a doctor. But now
(30:02):
a few months later, it's getting worse each week. Problem
Because it's been a few months since the accident, it's
much more difficult to prove that your back pain was
caused by that accident. Therefore, you'll probably have to pay
for this yourself, idiot. Do not put yourself in that situation.
If you're injured in an accident and call Jacob immediately,
(30:22):
he'll get you to the doctor, nobody out of pocket,
physically recover quickly and not have to pay for it yourself.
The consultation's free, and if you prefer to meet face
to face, Jacob's team can come to you, or you
can go to Jacob's office. When you call an attorney,
you want one who was respected, You call Jacob. He's
the real deal. And remember the consultation is free. Call
Jacob at eight four four to twenty four Jacob eight
(30:44):
four four to twenty four Jacob, or visit called Jacob
dot com. There you go. All right, Ronnie, thank you, Adam,
great job for Kevin today and Jonas appreciate you hanging out. Dan.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
Listen, we'll do it again next week there, Fred, Oh,
we're gonna do it. Yeah, yeah,
