Fifty three indicted in a bail bondscheme involving violent offenders in Harris County.

Employees of able Bonds Downtown allegedly conspiredwith others to falsify and obtain falsified customer
financial reports so violent offenders could meetthe terms of their bond. And we
heard that HISD is going to beending some bus routes to save transportation costs.
Now sci Fair ISD has plans todo the same. After budget cuts,

some students will no longer be eligibleto ride the bus, which is
going to be a nightmare for workingparents those logistics we too have to try
to get their kids to school.Weather today is going to be rainy all
day. We have got a floodwatch and effect until nine. Excuse me,

and you're up to date on sunnyand tell me something good brought to us
by our friends at Goodwill Houston.It's called pet co Love and it is
generously gifting a twenty five thousand dollarsgrant to Bark, the Houston animal shelter
and adoption center that really suffered tremendouslyafter Hurricane Beryl. They lost power,

so they lost all their refrigerated meds, they had to halt adoptions, damage
to structures. This grant will helppay for new meds and repairs to property.
Head Co Love was founded in nineteenninety nine and it's already invested four
hundred million so far in adoption andother life saving efforts for our furry friends.

but so sweet at the same time. If you didn't know, there's an
annual contest that celebrates the bold andoutrageous hairstyle that is the mullet. It's
called Mullet Champs and it brings contestantsfrom all over the country vying for the
title of best mullet and categories likefee mullet, Men's mullet, Kids,
teens, and fifty five plus.We actually have some Houston kids entering the

contest, but it's more than aboutjust hair for them. Easton, Dean
and Donovan Binesh are raising money forJared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors, which
provides accessible, mortgage free, injuryspecific homes to bets wounded in combat.
This year, Easton is one ofthe standout contestants. He goes by mullet
Maniac. He said he decided toget a mullet randomly before a family trip
and ever since then he's just beenletting it grow. They found out recently

that he advanced to the next round. Voting is going on till the thirty
at the top twenty five out ofone hundred, we'll go on to the

the CJ. Stroud Foundation doing goodagain. They were recently out in Kingwood

Kim and his sister Sierra were thereshowing their love and support to a city

twenties and I was a new materialsmanager for a medical corporation. Uh huh.
And I got to go to aseminar in Chicago, and I remember
they had us automateterials managers and wedid like a scavenger hunt through the city.
Oh that's cool, you're fine.Yeah, it was really cool.
We had to find stuff like andthen I went to the Cubs game that
day. We had to find stufffrom the city sabriens. We had like

a time limit. And when Iwas in Chicago there was the Food Festival
and I remember where I was thereby myself, no family members, and
I just I was downtown and Ijust took off and did a tour of
the boat and I got to bea city. That's so cool, awesome.
It's a beautiful city, isn't it. Oh gosh, it's gorgeous.

yeah, most importantly. Oh no, I totally was. I was so
far off. No, we wereso late. That's so funny. And
