She gets out of her car wrestles him to the
ground and holds him down. Whoa and until police arrived,
and they did. Apparently she was ticked off because she
just bought that car for her college bound son. That
is like a mom who's on a mission. Right next
with a mom like that, don't want the smoke. She
was like ninety pounds, petite little lady. Her daughter is
(01:28):
videoing the whole encounter. Unbelievable and mattress Mac update. Michael
Barry always says Mac gives back. Well, I'm going to
change it up again and say Mac is back at
work after spending the weekend at Saint Luke's in the
emergency room. He was dealing with he said, cognitive issues
and a leg rash. While we find out now he
has cellulitis, the common bacterial infection, and he's thanking everyone

for the outpouring of prayers, and he says, remember tough people,
tough times don't last, but tough people do.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Jerseys up on the rafters of a retired player. I
have to figure out a way how to highlight Simone
Biles retiring one of her signature moves, the Yurchenko double
pike or the Biles too. Yep, that's what gave her
the gold medal in Paris. She posted on insta rest
in peace your Chanko double pike. She's in all white,
(02:45):
looking absolutely gorgeous, sitting on the vault thing with white
flowers all around. This is a difficult vault, Anthony. It's
so scary that other women they call it so perilous.
Other women they don't think I'll ever attempt to do it.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
What it is.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
It's a round off entry onto the springboard and it's
backed by a backhandspring onto the vault table. Then Biles
ads not one, but two flips in a pipe position.
She is the first woman to ever add the second flip.

offerings over in our Asia Town and attempted to actually
rank them. If you didn't know where this is, this
would be on the west side of town, specifically near
the bel Air Boulevard and Beltway area, a huge even
of places to try and eat, and if you haven't
been before, it can be a little overwhelming, a lot
like when you went to post the food haul downtown recently. Yeah, so,
some of Southern Living's breakdown include the best dim Sun
(03:51):
place that would be Ocean Palace. That one's legendary, best
fud that would be Fu Dn, Best Bond me Don
Cafe and sandwich, best via Cajun Crawfish craws, fish and Noodles,
Cajun Kitchen, Best Vietnamese buffet that's kim Son also legendary,
best mix of everything Tan Tan, and best dessert Linda's

Speaker 1 (04:23):
And my sweet friend Don Wu took me to a
restaurant there called Fu Fu.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
It's so amazing, so I believe you another one to
check out.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Speaking of amazing restaurants, The New York Times is giving
love to a Houston burger place. It's Burger Bodega and
Abbas Dahani. He is the owner of this smash burger
like joint along Washington Avenue. In the New York Times review,
it's actually so colorful and beautiful about the burgers and
(04:54):
all of the the infusions that he uses.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
For these burgers.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
But what they really loved about Abbas was the food collaboration.
He makes burgers and uses ingredients from other restaurants and
toppings to highlight other.
Speaker 2 (05:09):

Dana in the Morning and producer Anthony We've got Houston's
best variety of the eighties, nineties, and today and our
nearly impossible question at six forty this morning. We learned
(05:37):
a ton of young people think weddings just too expensive
these days.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
And they're right.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
When you've got a twenty three year old with a
two hundred thousand dollars wedding asking his guests to give
four hundred and fifty dollars to come with the bill,
he got to scale back a little bit, right, Yeah,
so we're asking you about your weddings.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Now, we have got Jennifer calling in from Katie.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Now, you used to be married, so you have extreme
thoughts on weddings.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Did you have a big wedding or a smaller one?
Speaker 1 (06:08):
It was a big wedding and I have a lot
of regrets. Oh was it a destination wedding? Was it
here in Houston? No, it was outside of Houston.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
But so quite a lot all right?
Speaker 2 (06:20):
So what so you learned from this teach us? What
did you learn?
Speaker 1 (06:24):
What advice would you give to young people who are
thinking of having a big wedding like you did?
Speaker 2 (06:31):
What have you learned?
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Honestly, at the end of the day, it's about you
and your partner only. Everything else you're just doing it
for the people. So my best advice is just go
to the courthouse a lope and then have like a
dinner and that's it. Call it a game.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
That's what you you're gonna have is the pictures. Then
that's it.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Go take a nice photo session with your wedding dress
and call it a game. Oh I love you best,
my regret and my husband and I are still together
and our wedding wasn't that that big. But I wish
I had just gone to the courthouse with a cute
little dress, eloped with my husband, had dinner with my parents,
(07:13):
and just like you said, just call it today. That's
the best best thing to do. Thank you for your wisdom,
my friend.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Thanks for calling in th
