Tell Me Something Good - Clippers Over Crime helping young people, Happy Mother's Day story for a newborn

Universal Barbering of Houston has kicked off their 'Clippers Over Crime' campaign as a way to keep youth on the right track.....and a preemie has had a long road to make it to her first birthday, but it's a happy Mother's Day story for one Htown Mom!

is amazing. This past weekend,it was a Mother's Day to truly cherish

for a young mom in the Woodland. So mom generally gives birth to Madeleine
Meyer, and she was born onlyweighing one pound four ounces. But this
crazy journey began when she was justtwenty weeks pregnant. There were complications that
could have caused premature birth at anytime. They transferred to Texas Medical Center
with a Level four neonatal Intensive carryunit. She contracted E. Coli,
which was the whole thing, maningitis, brain bleeds, cyst that showed

up respiratory issues, so many thingsgoing against her. Mom generally went beyond
the medical action and started the spiritualbattle. Just began praying, prayed over
Madeline for hours, and then sheruns into the doctor who informs her they
don't know what happened, but theytell her there's miraculously a clearing up of
the meningitis. Things were starting toturn. Doctor tells her just keep praying,

and from then on, Madeleine hasbegun to thrive. Fast forward.
Madeleine's now a happy, healthy oneyear old and generally says that they believe
their natural approach helped in Madelin's andone parents to know we have two centers
in Houston known for saving micro premies, just like Madeline, so such a
good story from this mother's day ina reminder why we're lucky to be so
close to the best medical center andthe power of prayer Man. That's amazing,
