Thanks to All Things Wild Rehabilitation - some fawns were saved after an accident in Atascocita....and the need for foster families in TX continues to grow....

Hey, producer, Anthony, tellme something good brought to us by our
friends at Goodwill Houston. Now I'monly asking you to help me save the
turtles by helping them cross the street. That's nothing compared to this good deed.
The name of the organization is calledAll Things Wild Rehabilitation, and they
got a call recently about an injureddeer near a task A Ceda. It

was hit by a car. Thedeer was going to die, but this
rescue group realized it was pregnant.I mean, it's just so sad.
Well, they rushed the deer tothe Houston SPCA. The deer held on
long enough to save her baby's.Two fawns were born totally healthy. All

Things Wild say that they will carefor the fawnds until they reach the safe
age to be released into the wild. The president, Glen Bryant says,
it is a miracle these two fawnssurvived. If you would like to help

Anthony. Many of us celebrated Mother'sDay this past Sunday, but it

heads up there are thousands of fosterchildren who don't have anyone to call mom
and if you weren't to wear.May's National Foster Care Month, and right
now in Texas there's more than twentythousand children and teens in the foster care
system, but not all of themhave an actual foster homes either. There's
a shortage of foster families, andthat is some youth living in hotels with
only child protective service workers on site, so for them, Mother's Day wasn't

exactly celebratory. So there's an urgentneed for more foster families, especially those
willing to take on older children andteens, because there's a lot of people
who don't want to get attached tokids. We're just going to leave soon.
So if you find it in yourheart and you're in a position to
help, there's plenty of kids withoutfamilies, or maybe you're a couple who's
having trouble conceiving. There's so manyyoung people out there who could use a
good family or a good mom,even if it's just for a short while.
