through January. Now TSA employees, they were helping families who
were struggling with you know, canceled flights.

I mean it was just a nightmare.

Some of them took extra shifts even though they weren't
being paid.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
I mean, think about that.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Well, they were congratulated in a big way yesterday with
big fat, ten thousand dollars bonus checks, and they're going
to keep being congratulated and honored for their selflessness as
they help us get through the airports to our destination.
Now with the government open, flights you know aren't as
there's not as many flights being canceled, except there are

still going to be With one Texas airline, they posted
this on social media last night without giving a reason.
American Airlines they say it could take them several weeks
to recover and that's getting that's pushing up on Thanksgivings,
So definitely check your flights if you've got American Airline tickets.
And yeah, Anthony, it's not beginning to feel like this, Absolutely.

Not this weekend. Even though we flip the switch.

We're just gonna have to envision snow because we are
going to have some record high temperatures Monday, we could
go up to eighty six. We're going to be in
the mid eighties all next week, the first cool down
and maybe a slight chance of rain this week. And
I mean we've got burned bands everywhere. First cool down
is going to be this coming, not this weekend, next weekend,

when it'll be in the mid seventies. Okay, right now,
it's sixty four in Uptown and Europe to date. On Sunday,
tell me something good brought to us by our friends
at Goodwill, Hugh. And if you want to see how

it yesterday, their new Connect center. They're celebrating December ninth,

grand opening at eighty two twenty five South Guestner Road.

be making its homeport in Galveston beginning August of twenty
twenty seven. This is the massive ship that you told

ship expansion down in galvi Also coming in twenty twenty seven,

and the third ship coming that year, Their Symphony of
the Seas will have their ultimate Abyss slide that sounds
awesome and Broadway style shows. This is all great news
