Speaker 1 (00:00):
Clyde leg Dennis Here and today, in our seven Good
Minutes extra segment, we're diving deeper into that powerful morning
question and the wisdom it contains. The quote we explore
today reminds us that the quality of your day is
determined not by what happens to you, but by the
intention you bring to what happens through you. This speaks

(00:20):
to one of the most liberating truths about human experience.
While we cannot control external circumstances, we always retain the
power to choose our internal response. When you ask yourself
each morning what you want to feel, you're essentially setting
an intention that becomes a filter for how you experience

(00:40):
everything that follows. Think about it this way. Two people
can experience the exact same traffic jam, the same difficult conversation,
or the same unexpected challenge. One person approaches these situations
with the intention to remain calm and curious, while the
other has no conscious intention at all. Ternal circumstances are identical,

(01:02):
but the quality of their experience will be vastly different.
Your morning intention doesn't guarantee that everything will go smoothly. Instead,
it ensures that you have a reference point, a chosen
way of being that can guide you through whatever arises.
It's like having an internal compass that always points toward
your highest self, regardless of the storms around you. This

(01:24):
practice also teaches us that feelings aren't just things that
happen to us randomly. While we can't force emotions or
pretend to feel what we don't, we can create conditions
that invite certain states of being. When you consciously choose
to feel grateful, you begin to notice things worthy of gratitude.
When you intend to feel peaceful, you naturally make choices

(01:46):
that support peace rather than chaos. Here's something to reflect on.
How might your relationships, your work, and your daily experiences
shift if you approached each day with clear emotional intention
rather than simply reacting to whatever comes your way. I
invite you to embrace this affirmation. I am the conscious

(02:06):
creator of my inner experience, and I choose to meet
each day with intentional awareness and gentle wisdom. Until next time.
