Speaker 1 (00:00):
Clyde Lee Dennis. Here and today in our seven Good
Minutes extra segment, we're diving deeper into that powerful truth.
The pen that wrote your limiting story is the same
pen that can write your liberation. This quote speaks to
one of the most empowering realizations we can have, that
we are both the author of our limitations and the
author of our freedom. The same creative force within you

(00:23):
that constructed stories of I can't or I'm not enough
is the exact same force that can construct stories of
possibility and potential. Think about this for a moment. Every
limiting belief you carry was once just a thought that
you gave power to through repetition. You took experiences, interpreted

(00:44):
them in a certain way, and then told yourself that
story over and over until it became your reality. But
here's what's beautiful. If you have the power to create
limiting stories, you absolutely have the power to create liberating ones.
The pen represents your conscious choice, your awareness, your ability

(01:04):
to step back and recognize that you are not your thoughts.
You are the thinker of your thoughts. You are not
your story. You are the story teller, and story tellers
can always choose to tell a different story. This doesn't
mean denying your past or pretending difficult things didn't happen.
It means recognizing that you get to choose what those
experiences mean moving forward. You get to decide whether your

(01:28):
past defines you or refines you, whether your challenges diminish
you or develop you. Here's a question for reflection. What
story have you been telling yourself that's ready to be rewritten?
What narrative about your capabilities, your worth, or your future
could use a fresh perspective? And here's your affirmation. I
am the conscious author of my life story, and I

(01:51):
choose to write chapters filled with growth, possibility, and hope.
The same creative power that built your limitations can build
your liberation. The choice and the pen are always in
your hands. Until next time, I'm Clydeige Dennis, and this
has been seven good minutes extra
