Speaker 1 (00:00):
Creativity is an addiction, unplugged because we will always say
yes to creativity, totally uncut because we all make mistakes.
So let's turn it into a tool. This is Arrow unplugged.
I'm always asking questions because the fund begins when you
start researching for answers such as does the United States
have the fastest Internet service in the world? Plus? How

(00:20):
important is getting your dog? It's distemper shot. My name
is Arrow. I'm a daily writer, a silent wolf. I
stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen, study,
then activate. I call it the daily mess, a chronological
walk through an everyday world. Yep, it's my morning pages.
As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people
tend to throw things to the side because we think

(00:41):
we're going to deal with it later. Well, when a
subject arrives inside of me, I know it's time to
dig in. It's still keeping that daily journal, but by
doing the research, the picture becomes clearer. This is the
daily mess. Does the US have the fastest Internet service? Well,
with so many options which now feature AT and T,
Google and Spectrum Fiber, those of us in the United

(01:03):
States do not have the fastest Internet service. Our country
ranks number six in the world for fixed broadband speeds. Singapore,
the United Arab Immirates, and Hong Kong are the global leaders.
Katar is ranked the world's fastest with speeds of three
hundred and thirty four point sixty three mpds, compared to
the United States, which is only at one hundred and

(01:24):
thirteen point one zero. The good news is the US
has made notable improvements to internet speeds, and fiber optic
has a lot to do with it. But will the
cost of such a tool be a good or poor investment?
At and T suggests an eighty dollars package, but if
you want the absolute best, it's going to cost you
two hundred and forty five dollars a month. A company

(01:45):
called bright Speed is said to be the fastest internet
provider in the United States, a three year old company
that's making huge waves in advancing our need for speed.
A lack of urgency is the number one reason why
everything is still so slow. In the of a Hey,
coming up next, how important is getting your dog? It's
distemper shot. Hey, thanks for coming back to the daily mess.

(02:09):
My latest rescue Jazzy is quickly approaching eleven beautiful years
of life. The veterinarian says, guess what it's time for
her next distemper shot? How important is this? Don't try
to second guess your vet. It's very important to make
this shot a priority. Canine distemper is highly contagious and
often fatal. A vaccination is the only way to prevent it.

(02:32):
Distemper affects multiple organ systems, from respiratory to a dog's
nerve system. Distemper weakens a fuzzy baby's immune system, making
them more susceptible to other infections. Puppies need vaccination starting
at six weeks old, treated until they're sixteen years old.
Jazzy is pretty much getting what vets call a distemper booster,

(02:53):
which is given every year. But Jazzy really isn't an
outdoor dog. Why is that so important? Because because of
the three or four times you take your dog for
a walk, there's always something waiting for them, and disease
is always one sniff away. We are constantly surrounded by
contaminated items. The best path is to always consult your veterinarian,

(03:14):
always invest in their lessons in life. I'm Eryl, and
that's the daily mess

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
