(00:01):
Good morning, good afternoon, goodevening, and welcome everyone to ask Us
and everything in between. I amyour host, Eileen Akaileen Little Character.
Oh my goodness, guys. I'mso sorry that I coaste you, guys,
And there is a huge good reason, and it's gonna be a little
heavy, and I'm going to tryand not keep it so heavy for very
long. First off, if youfeel in any way that you want to
(00:31):
harm yourself, please reach out forhelp. You know, go to the
hospital, take care of yourself.I have been suffering with depression for a
very long time, and there's beena couple of months and you've been a
couple of years where it's been reallybad. And that is the reason why
I quit podcasting. There has beena lot of triggering things that has been
(00:58):
happening, and so it has beenan uppill battle. And I am grateful
that I am in therapy. Iknow that there are people who need therapy
and medication. Whatever it is thatyou need to take care of yourself,
(01:18):
please do so because you are worthit, you are loved, and you're
cared about, so please go getthe help that you need. There is
no shame in taking care of yourself. Okay, now that that's out of
the way, I'm sorry. Ijust it's kind of hard to talk about
my depression. I really I tryto be as private as possible with that
(01:42):
because I just feel very weird andvulnerable talking about it. So yeah,
but I do highly recommend you getsome help and deal with whatever issues that
you're dealing with. And it's notgoing to be an easy road. It's
gonna take a long time. Andsometimes it's a shorter road for other people,
(02:04):
and sometimes it's not. For me. It has not been a short
road. And you know what, that's okay. It's not a race,
it's a marathon. And I amso grateful that I got to help and
I'm learning a lot of tools tohelp me with my triggers and just to
be a happier person in the longway and a better caregiver to my family.
(02:31):
And if you hear the noise inthe background, I'm sorry, my
cat is playing with something like really, oh yeah, I swear. Anyways,
guys, moving way along. Sothe next big news that I have
is that I open up a shop. Yay, it's also a Nancy shop,
But I don't know if I'm goingto keep the etty shop for very
long. I opened up a shopnot sponsored on top of I. It's
(02:58):
called i Lean's Little Crafts and yeah, I'm like super duper stoked. And
you said it's been opened up fora while now. So I kind of
focused on that first, and thenI was like, Okay, you know
what, I want to focus ongetting more people out there. I just
(03:20):
recently been learning a little bit aboutLLCs and EI N numbers, and I
want to open up shop, TikTokshop. That's the word TikTok shop.
So I want to open up mytiktokop. I already have my items on
(03:44):
Facebook on not YouTube. I thinkit's on YouTube, but I'm not one
hundred percent sure. I gotta doublecheck things. Anyways, as I was
saying, I, did you knowFacebook and Instagram shop there there. I
have plans for TikTok. I dohave a website. I'll link the linked
down below. Yeah, so whatelse is going on? All right?
(04:06):
So I really to talk to youabout the shop, what kind of shop
it is? It is a printon the man business. So if you
guys read the information about some possibleno returns and certain things, because everything
is when is that when you orderit, it's already pretty much so you
(04:30):
you know, you have a littlebit of a window time. So wrong
sizes and wrong colors will not beaccepted. If it's damaged, you know,
to send me a picture, we'llwork something out. Because I put
up the money first and then soI can help pay for the printing,
(04:50):
and then the profits come from whenthe customer pays. And that is where
you know, that sort of thinggoes on. So yeah, I do
have to subscriptions, because there wasa lot of different subscriptions. You don't
necessarily have to have a subscription forthese print on demand businesses, but it
(05:12):
does help in the long way becauseyou do get a discount. So that
is something that I said, youknow what, let me get the basic
plan and see how I like it, and and go for there and as
I grow, maybe get the biggerpackage, you know, time hotel.
So I do have items that arenot embroidered, and I do have some
(05:34):
embroidered items. I have mugs, cups too, EAGs, what else travel
mugs, I discussed some new glasswarecups which just came up on an item.
This is new on the shops. What else we do have a sale
(05:57):
running, so if you love Youthirty, you'll get thirty percent off only
on the Mother's Day Collection and thatwill last until I believe I forgot one
who tis I forgot when the clends. But I will put that all
down below so you guys can know. If you don't want anything from the
(06:19):
Mother's Day Collection, you can useWelcome ten and your first order order cannot
be combined when anything either the thirtypercent off can't be combined with the Welcome
thirty, so that's a one timecoupon, so Welcome ten. And again
I'll put everything down below so thatyou guys can see, and everything is
(06:40):
on the front of the the website, the welcome page. I feel like
I'm lost. It's like, ohmy goodness. Anyway, since we're saying
so yeah, so a print onthe Mad Business was definitely the way to
go because of you know, asyou know, I am a mom,
(07:00):
uh and we were having some troublewith our son. Unfortunately we had to
pull them out of school along verylong, crazy story. He's statistic.
As you guys know, space isyou know, inconvenience, you know,
living in New York. If youguys know you know, so yes,
(07:20):
we I've been back and forth aboutthings. I started trying to make cups
and then things just kind of wenta little wonky, and as I said,
my depression kicked in and I wasstruggling. I was really struggling,
so I said, let's give ita break speaking to a lot of people
(07:44):
and working out things in my head. And then one day I got lucky
and I learned the pat of Printson demand business and I looked into them
a lot of different videos on YouTube, and then I found out about another
Prince on device business because I wantedto expand my product line and they had
(08:05):
exactly what I wanted and needed withthe the shipping place where I needed it.
Like I like like, oh sorryabout that. What I meant was
to say was, Okay, I'mgonna give you an it. For instance,
I have I love hoodies. Ilove zipper hoodies. Those are my
(08:26):
favorite things eleven. So I wassuper duper excited to try and make zipper
hoodies for myself and my nieces. And the company that I first went went
with first went with, their qualitywas not the greatest, and on top
of that, they were outside ofthe US, so it would take super
(08:48):
duper a long time, and Ididn't want to frustrate my customers. I
did try again, and it didtake a while again, so I was
like, you know what, Idon't like the fact that they are based
out of the US, and Iwas like, I'm gonna do When I
received the garment, the garment itselfwas great, made well, but the
(09:13):
print quality was Again I I waslike, I know it can't be my
my print because I had the sameimage printed on a hoodie from a uh
another print on the mad business that'sassociated with this we're prientified. And then
(09:39):
so yeah, So I found outabout print Full and I looked into print
full and I saw that they havenot only dt of basically printing print the
print, but also embroidery, andI was like, oh, so I
ordered that and absolutely fell in lovewith their quality super dup for love the
(10:00):
way it was made. I ordereda couple of other things. I even
ordered. Let's see, I orderedsome stickers from them because I was interested
in making like journaling stickers or justto go stickers or whatever it is you
put it on your computers whatever. So it was like, okay, so
I ordered that first. I kindof made like my own little sample of
things I didn't really actually put thatI just wanted to see because in the
(10:26):
future maybe I might quit certain certainthings like the Eternal Well actually know,
even in death we never part, which is a club between me and my
sister. She basically helped me withthe name. I Phone this really awesome
collection, and I was like, wow, I really liked this, but
I couldn't come up with a name, and I was saying, hmmm,
(10:46):
so shout huge shout out to mysister Loraine, who came up with the
name, and uh, yeah,So I made it a permanent collection because
of that, and not really that, but I thought, I don't know,
I kind of like it because ithas like a little bit of romance,
a little bit of goth vibes.Yeah so I even though, yes,
(11:07):
I know it's pink, but Ireally loved the collection and I thought
it was really sweet and romantic. And I launched it in Valentine's Day and
yeah, so I want to makemore stickers for that and then what else?
So we also launched our other collection. It's the Zodiac collection, because
(11:31):
if anybody knows me, I loveastronomy. I love the stars, I
love Boho. I want to geta couple more bohos. I like skills.
I'm a little gods, a littlegirl, a little kwaiey. I'm
kind of very in well. Iam a collective in my designs, and
the reason why is because I justcan't choose a style. So a little
(11:54):
bit of vintage, a little seampunk, that that sort of thing. I
have some photos I want to do. Maybe I want to also take some
more photos, my own personal photosthat I took of New York. I
think that I want to probably startputting it on T shirts and stuff like
that, like iconic buildings and maybenot so iconic buildings that maybe people might
(12:18):
like, maybe turn them into digitalcolor washes things like that. We'll see
how that goes. I'm still workingon that aspect. So that's kind of
like a little heads up of whatmy thing is. But I do have
a Motherhood collection, and some ofthese items will be seeing as a permanent
(12:43):
collection and some of them will beleaving. I did launch a Easter Some
of the Easter collection made a coupleof items. I know for a fact
that a couple of items from SaintPatrick's. They say it because I thought
that they were too cute, andI absolutely love them, so I'm gonna
continue on that as well. Sowe have pouches, we have book bags.
(13:07):
We're gonna be working on some morebook bags. We have swengeies,
two different types of styles. Wehave what else mugs, travel mugs,
tumblers, spiral notebooks, journals.I think it's like three different types of
journals. We gotta work more onthe bookmarks. We have sweatshirts, hoodies,
(13:33):
zipper hoodies, short short sleeve tshirts. And I've tried to pick
colors that I know what hopefully everybodywill like. If there is a color,
you know, you can always letme know. I gotta try and
be more like, hey, whatdo you think the next color should be.
(13:58):
I don't want to put too manycolors because they run out quickly.
So yeah, I'm looking into othercolors or the design. You know,
I may have to change up thecolor of the design so that it can
meet you know, the color ofthe garment. So yeah, so I'm
super duper excited about that. Iam. I hope that you guys find
(14:20):
something that you love and let meknow please, So, like I said,
the Motherhood collection Zodiac collections. Definitely. The Even and Death You Never
Part is a permanent collection, andI'm going to be adding some more items
that will be a permanent collection. And the reason why I'm so collective and
(14:41):
I you know, the reason whyI'm gonna be honest, I love this
kind of format is because you cantake one image and you can put it
on everything pretty much. And thereason why highlight that is because when I
well, I still kind of plan, but not not too heavy on the
(15:01):
stickers anymore. When I was workingon my journals, I used to like
these stickers they kind of decorate themor whatever, and I would think to
myself, Wow, I don't reallywant to use the sticker because it's so
pretty, or I might want touse it for something else. Oh.
(15:26):
The other thing was that, ohthis, this sticker would be great on
a book bag. I had thingslike that, like other items, and
so that's kind of my thing thatI'm like, oh, snap, this
would be awesome for this. SoI look at items. I'm not gonna
lie. I don't draw. Imake sure that all the items that I
use are POD approved, or thatyou can use it on a POD,
(15:50):
whether you need to alter it insome way, that's fine with me.
I love doing that as well.I use por Create for that, so
I do look on it. Iuse Creative cam Camm a little bit,
not that much, you know, because they get a little tricky with their
(16:10):
wordings, so so I use CreativeFabrica and design bundles. So that's the
other things that I use to findimages that I really would look at.
I spent hours some nights, iime, like two three in the morning looking
(16:30):
at every juice is crazy, butyeah, so it's but it's really fun
and I enjoy myself and I hopethat you guys find something that you love,
and yeah, looking forward to morethings. As you guys know,
I'm a huge coffee drinker. SoI have like trouble mugs. I have
(16:52):
eleven ounce mugs. I have fifteenounce mugs. I'm gonna be switching out
the monks me and another couple ofmonths because I found something that would I
don't want to say limit, Idon't know. I don't know because it
has a much more different sizes andit's the same mug. So you guys,
(17:17):
if you wanted in that image onlike let's say a fifteen, ten
or twenty, you know whatever size. I can't really remember it because there
was a lot of numbers. ButI do also want to wreck I do
also want to say, because I'mextremely proud of this, that I do
try to make sure that all myitems are unisex. I do try to
(17:37):
make sure that my items include plussize items. I don't know if it's
called inclusive if it's only a fiveX. I'm trying, and I'm looking
five X or six X. Someof the items are six xes. I'm
trying to look for more items andmaybe in the future look into other prints
(18:00):
the man sites that do offer moresize inclusive items. Because if I can't
use it, I don't want iton my on my on my shop.
I kind of feel bad and likea hypocrite if I'm not able to use
an item. So I've been backand forth thinking if I should put some
(18:23):
cases so I know that they're abig cell, I know that everybody loves
them, and but I just don'twant to put a product out there that
is not good. So, yeah, I try to buy a couple of
the items. I have a bunchof items coming in. I'm so stoked.
(18:44):
I have to start trying to makevideos of the items so that you
guys can see on my channel. And yeah, so I have been also
doing YouTube shorts for advertisements here andthere so that you guys, if you
guys want to see something. Butagain, you can always go to the
website and check out some items.Anything else. Now that's about it,
(19:11):
you guys. Alrighty So I'm gonnaend it here, And so you think
you from the bottom of my heart, and don't forget that mental health matters
and you matter. And it isnot a shame or a crutch or dumb
(19:32):
or whatever it is, whatever negativeconnotation you have to get help and a
prince on the man business. Someof our you know, some of our
community you know really well. Actuallysome communities do not like prints on the
man business. But I'm gonna behonest. We work just as hard as
(19:52):
you. I know you guys, you di wires work even harder, and
you guys rock and are amazing, but we do some of us do actually
buy the products ourselves and use itand wear it and test it. I
have addressed that I've been testing andI love the quality. I watched it,
and yeah, so I put itin my shop. What else,
(20:18):
yep? So That is about it. If you guys have any conversed questions,
please them please leave them them below. And if you like this podcast
wherever you're listening it at, giveit a thumbs up heart star, you
know, letting me know that youliked it, and I will catch it
on the next one. Bye fornow.
