(00:01):
Good morning, good afternoon, goodevening, and welcome everyone to arsk Us
and everything in between. I'm yourhost, Eileen aka Eileen Little Crafter.
Oh. I have tried to recordthis this podcast a three times today.
Okay, bring it back, let'sgo. Let's do this all right,
guys. So today I am goingto be talking about shows that you should
take a watch. I don't rememberthe name of the title at this point

(00:25):
because the coffee is kicked in,but anyway, guys, just good,
let's keep it moving. So I'mgoing to be putting up a lot of
different types of shows, some youmay have heard of and some you may
not. I'm also going to beputting up some anime. I know that
anime lists are really tricky because everyonehas their opinion on anime, but I'm

(00:50):
super duper excited that we are havingawesome and hopefully respectful conversations about it.
I'm just happy that the genre isnot getting this huge recognition and everyone is
sharing their love and support and respectfor the art forum that is anime,

(01:10):
whether it's other countries abroad, whichis so cool to see their take on
it, their little spin. It'sjust been amazing to watch so looking for
it. Let's go on. Myfirst one has been a really good show.
I have read a couple of commentsand I'll share my thoughts and opinions

(01:33):
about it. It is Will Trent. It's on ABC. I don't know
exactly when it gives but I actuallyI think it's Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I
think no, wait, it's Tuesdaysand Tuesday nights. Don't remember the time
because I actually watched it on Hulu, you know, since Tubby Worst Nights.

(01:56):
I watched it during the day withso you know, enjoy that show
very much. And uh yeah,so I love the show. I think
that the premise is super duper amazing. I heard that it was a book.
I'm gonna see if we can tryand get my hands on one of
the books and read it. I'veheard that a lot of people are not
happy about the the change up inthe main character. Uh he's supposed to

(02:23):
be tall, not Latino. Personally, I love the change. I am
a huge fan and uh I getI. I feel like it adds a
little bit of extra layer layer tothe to the story, and I kind

(02:46):
of feel like I understand that everybodywants it to be true to the source
material, because sometimes the source materialis good, but when the writers make
a certain change and it adds thislayer of goodness, I don't know what

(03:08):
else to say. I'm all forit, and uh yeah, yeah,
and I love the fact of course, you know, becauys on Porto Acan.
I love the fact that the actoris Porto Weekend. So what by
yes, let's get it. Souh yeah, I I love the fact

(03:30):
when when we get represented on television. I love when minorities get their their
chance to shine. I think thatit's amazing. And I love to see
diversity and learn about other cultures throughtheir work and their representation. So yeah,

(03:54):
so that doesn't bother me, youknow, if they change it a
little bit here and there. Butanyways, let me get off my high
horse here, because that's not whatwe're talking about. So basically, Will
Trend is about a GBI detective GeorgiaBureau Bureau Bureau Investigation and he is basically

(04:20):
a man with a very colorful past. He had to grow up in the
force's system Forster Foster. Yeah, and it's wrong with me today and he
uh decides to become the hero thathe needed while growing up and they go

(04:45):
throughout these different types of cases, and he's also the sucks, which is
super duper cool to see again somethingthat I struggle with myself. So it
it's pretty cool to see that hehas made it to where he is in

(05:06):
his career. I love the factthat we are learning more about this.
I don't know how. I don'twant to see it's a problem, this
issue this uh what for me personallywas embarrassment? Uh a problem for me?

(05:33):
An issue? Uh. Again, these are all my personal takes on
it because growing up we didn't haveI think the resources that we then did.
Again again, I'm a gen xuh so I you know, I

(05:56):
had to learn workarounds and later onis when I got the help that I
needed. And it still does affectme to this day. I am not
gonna lie. It does affect me. And I love the fact that you
get to see this in someone whois an adult with a career with you
know, everything that he has beenthrough and over trying to overcome it and

(06:21):
the frustration that he deals with everyday. I love the writers. The
topics are just amazing. I lovethe friendship, the the family, the
bond that you see there. Youknow, even though some characters don't really
get along well, but they stillhave their back because they are part of

(06:45):
a team and they realize that, you know, we are technically a family,
and even though we may not seeeye every day on certain issues,
I still got your back and Istill care about you, and I just
I really love it and it's reallyreally good to you know, some episodes
to make you cry. I'm notgonna lie, but I think that you
know, there are some really touchingand great moments. This show has just

(07:09):
been amazing. I highly recommend,in my opinion, all of the fbis
which are on CBS. Uh.Here in New York is channel Channel two,
ABC seven, and then we haveChunnel two and ABC. What else

(07:30):
a Quantum Leap. I am notone percent sure if it gives it if
sorry gives mister stay airs on regularTV, but Peacock is definitely I would
highly many taking a look at PeakC Yeah, uh, the new Quantum
Leap. I really like it,and it's on hiatus right now, but

(07:53):
you know, if you guys geta chance, it's streaming on Peacock and
I love to take of it andI think that it's it's done in a
way where's it gives amazing homage tothe original. Basically, they're like,

(08:13):
okay, well we're gonna take bitsand pieces and we're gonna even take some
of the characters that used to bein the show, and we're gonna put
them in there. I am hopingthat one one time we'll be able to
see I believe the name the actof the actor was Scott but Beckleham.

(08:37):
I forgot the name of the character. But anyways, I love it.
I think that it's really cool again, wide range of diverse characters, some
of the plots really tugget your heartstrings, and it's just one of those shows
that it's a great ride. Itis just as good as the original.

(08:58):
I'm not going to say it's better. I'm just gonna say it is a
great like legacy to it that it'sit's continuously continuously continuing the legacy of kandom
Leap and I just really thoroughly enjoyit, and I hope we get another
season because it left on a reallyreally touching and fun what is that cliffhanger

(09:24):
and innocense And if you guys don'tknow what kind of leap is, Basically
it was about an experiment. Itbasically takes place it looks like in the
future, and then it takes placewhere the doctor that designed it he goes

(09:45):
through you know, the past, helping people on the same thing here,
and it's just more more. Ithas the same plot, but it also
centers around more of a love storyon this one. And yeah, so
I kind of I thoroughly enjoyed thatthey added an extra layer to the plot.

(10:13):
Not only do they go around hopingpeople, but they also are trying
to find they were home and itis about a love story in this one.
So yeah, what else I thoroughlyrecommend All of the fbis again that
is on CBS two. They haveFBI FBI Missing, and then FBI International

(10:39):
FBI International. I actually didn't thinkit was gonna get a new season another
season. I don't know. I'msorry, I feel like I'm not pronouncing
it's properly, so my apologies.Today I kind of woke up feeling a
little Oh but anyways, we gotwork to do. Anyway, Moving on
International, I didn't think we weregoing to in the season because I didn't

(11:01):
see it, and then boom,we got it. Equalizer is another one.
It's on serious. We have anotherseason. I kudos to the writers.
They just keep coming up with somereally fun and exciting new twists the
characters. As always, it's topnotch. So for the Equalizer, basically

(11:28):
it's kind of the same premise ofthe same from the movies, but the
Equalizer, I'm sorry. My catdecided that she wants to have the Zoomies.
So she goes around helping people herein New York. In the beginning,

(11:54):
it was kind of rough between herand NYPD, but then she has
the help of the sister District DA. It's still kind of rough because now
we have a new character. OhI think it was the the Chief.
They have a new chief and thereforeshe's like, no, I don't care

(12:18):
what the district Attorney says. Idon't want her on my pacing. I
don't want her around. I willhave the rest her. You know.
She's kind of by the book andthere are a lot of new I don't
want to see a lot of newcharacters. I think there's like two or
three new characters. And basically, like I said, it's based in New

(12:43):
York. She goes around helping peoplethrough a message board the same thing while
trying to juggle being a mom.And yeah, so that's basically the premise
of the uh pretty much basic thebasic premise. I don't want to keep
it too long on this show.Moving right along to anime. Apocke Carry

(13:07):
Diaries is one of the best animesso far. I don't want to say
it's better than Kaisu Kai Kaizen isanother one, but let's go back to
the first one. Apocke Cary Diariescenser censors around Mama, who has a

(13:28):
very colorful life and upbringing, andshe gets kidnapped and she has to work
off the dead in what is uhImperial China. I forgot what error that
they were living that they said theywere in. But of course it's all

(13:50):
make believe. It has nothing todo with nothing basically written in stone,
like they're just kind of basing itoff of history, I guess in a
sense. Anyway, So she startsworking and there, and she is one
of those ladies that is super dupersmart, sarcastic, funny. I love

(14:16):
her. And there's a lot oftwists and turns in her life and somehow
everybody goes to her to try andfigure out problems where what is going on
in the Palace, and yeah,it really really is good. The drawing
is amazing, the character development isfunny. The story, well, not

(14:39):
funny. Some of them are funny. Some of the characters are really funny,
and some other characters are just youknow theirs. Their backstory is just
heartbreaking. There's a lot of mystery, intrigue and a little bit of love
brewing. I don't want to tellyou exactly what's going on there, but

(15:01):
it is really, really, reallya good anime to watch, and that
is on qunchy roll so far.Kai I always mispronounce it to that the
reason why I'm trying to pronounce itslowly. Kai did to Kaisen is another
one that I really recommend. Itis about sorcerers who exercise ebal spirits,

(15:26):
and it centers around different types ofcharacters. There's a bunch of they all
have their reasonings and why they comefrom different clans. And Gojo is one
of everybody's favorite character, and Ican see why he's drawn in a way
that's very cosmetic, you know, charismic, charasmic, whatever. He's one

(15:52):
of those characters that all the girlswish it was real, but un talking
a part met him like he's sosarcastic, full of himself, but I
guess with his upbringing you can seewhy. And he hides, you know,
a lot, and he's just beenthrough a lot, and a lot
of other characters have been through alot as well, and some of it

(16:15):
has been so super duper heartbreaking. Some of it has been really nice to
see them grow and and become teamwork, you know, through teamwork and understanding
each other. Another really good animeis Demon Slayer. Oh my god,
you guys, I cannot wait forthe new episodes. I have not gone

(16:40):
to see the movie. I'm waitingto see it hopefully era somewhere soon,
hopefully. So the next arc isthe training arc. I think that this
one, I don't know. II want to see it, but I'm
like, little bit like is thisjust gonna be filler or is it going

(17:04):
to be where we get to learnabout the head teachers and just I don't
know. I don't know. Idon't wanna like say to spile it.
But basically it is about a boyand his sister and he has a very
traasic story where his family gets mostof them have passed away due to being

(17:33):
a demon attack them basically, andthen his sister got turned into a demon,
and he made it known that hewants to help and cure his sister.
Nysical and Tandau is a very strong, funny, kind hearted person and

(17:57):
sorry about that had a little ticklein my throat. He's a very kind
hearted person. And he meets someother people that are just like him,
and they have their own little backstoryand it's amazing to see them grow.
And the arcs are just like thelittle segments. The seasons are just getting

(18:21):
better and better. A lot ofpeople were m or not to throw about
a little bit of CGI. Ipersonally felt that, yes, it added
I knew that it was CG,but at the same time, I felt
like I was working watching something thatwas really thrilling and fun. And uh,

(18:44):
I don't think that they went overboardwith it. They just used it
in certain areas that just added andhad some type of amazing enhancement to the
series. I did not think thatit detourred from it, I felt,
and again this is just my personalopinion. I really enjoyed it, and
I think that it was really funto watch another really good one that I've

(19:07):
been watching, which basically undid soyou can catch up on the episode is
the Witch, The Witch and theBeasts. Basically it's about Guilda and I
think his name is Aiden, andthey go around helping witches and also stopping
witches that basically are breaking the rules. She is cursed. He's a warlock

(19:30):
trying to or witch trying to helpher find the witch that cursed her.
And they go around different countries andthey have to deal with also the church.
There's a church. Basically basically Ithink they're called executioners or inquisite.

(19:52):
I think they're called inquisitors, myapologies, inquisitors that try to use take
the magic from the witches and useit for themselves. According to them,
and I say using quotes as youcan see me quote unquote using that for
good, which basically hurting other people. You know, it's again your magic

(20:17):
is not good. So it's twisted. So now basically the ending is where
they found her the witch, andthey are she's leading them to the next
gateway of understanding, oh it's happeningor why it happened. So that's where

(20:41):
it left off pretty much, andof course can't forget all off this list
is bleach you know, I'm Ididn't want to bleach. I was like,
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, but I
watched it and I enjoyed it,and I highly recommend it. There's a

(21:04):
new uh a new arc or newYeah, I think you would basically call
the new arc, and yeah, you know it's really good. A lot
of the old characters that they arenew developments, uh, well now developments

(21:26):
in this one. And I justI really enjoyed it and I cannot wait
to see more of it. Thisone is the thousand Blood You're when I
think it is, I'm not onehundred percent, but I'll leave it down
below. I'll put down a listof the anime and shows that I recommend.
What else? Wait, why doI feel like I'm forgetting something because

(21:52):
I forgot to write a list asusual, I kind of do these things
off the top of my head. And but yeah, I think that is
about it. You guys, Oh, I know what it is? Back
to regular shows. I honestly recommendBelieve it or not, Tracker. I

(22:14):
just started watching it. It's basicallyabout a man that goes around finding people
for reward money. He helps findlost property, lost people, things like
that, and he has a verytrinsic story and I hope that they continue
watching, uh, continue wearing it. It's on his first season and yeah,

(22:42):
so that is definitely it. Youguys. I hope that you have
enjoyed this podcast. If you guyshave any comments of questions, please leave
a numblow. Please don't forget togive me a like. And if you
can and you want, please describeto this podcast. All righty guys,
