(00:51):

to the show. And how didyou guys get the weather so perfect?
You know, we put in thisorder a long time ago. We're like,
whatever we gotta pay, just makeit happen. And you know,
whether guys are like, you know, we'll make it happen. So here
we are. We're ready for afantastic, beautiful weekend and we cannot wait.

(01:15):
I was I was watching on hisInstagram channel Instagram or maybe it was
YouTube. I was watching Tim metcalfUm walking around Willow Island and for people
who don't know, obviously we allenjoy it over the over the holiday weekend
and whether it's take a brought towork on Friday or through the weekend,
we see what it looks like finished. There has been a ton of work

(01:38):
out on the island getting ready forthis, hasn't there. Yeah, you
know, we've been. We've beenworking on the island for the past five
days every day from sunrise almost onsetevery day to make sure the festival looks
good and everything's in place and we'reready to rock and roll. So there's
a lot of help. But butman, I tell you what, if
it wasn't for some of these extravolunteers that are signing up to help us

(01:59):
set up, it would not bepossible even if though it still takes us
five days. But the volunteers signingup early is fantastic, which also means
we still have tear down on Monday, which we could probably use a few
extra volunteers as well. But that'sthrowing that plug out there. But it's
a fantastic it is. It isa great thing. And you mentioned volunteering
opportunities, broughtfest dot com. That'sBroughtfest dot Com. Takes a lot to

(02:22):
get her set up, takes alot to run, it takes a lot
to take it down. And oneof the great things is with Broadfest,
it's it's obviously for the community,it's for all of us to get together
and enjoy a weekend of broughts andmusic and just a great family fund.
But there's also that that great charitableaspect of it as well. And Eric,

(02:42):
before we talk about some of thecharitable things, let's kind of walk
through the weekend and kick off onFriday with Take Your Brought to Work and
then we'll go Saturday, Sunday andall the events going on throughout the weekend.
So let's start off with let's startoff with Friday. What goes on
Friday? Absolutely, you know,Take your broad to workday kicks off six
am, so we start growing atthree in the morning, withness some incredible
volunteers showing up that early. Theystart grilling, making sure these broughts are

(03:05):
hot and ready for everybody coming throughthe line. So whether folks want to
pick up. You know, it'sa drive through. It's the only time
we allow kind of drive through ofcars through the island. And whether you
want to just pick up brought foryourself. You know, maybe you work
at home, you need to graba couple of broughts to head back home
to work, you can do that, or if you want to drive through
and grab one hundred broughts to taketo work for your employees, friends,
family, whomever. But that goesfrom six am till nine am, so

(03:30):
you can come early. We havea Clydesdale that's kind of leading the whale,
leading the way. One of theBudweiser Clydesdales is going to lead the
way onto the island with the firstcar along with we're gonna have the Milwaukee
Brewer racing Sausages are going to behere as well that morning, so come
on through. Also, if you'reriding a bike, you can ride your
bicycle here. Sarahs will be passingout some some broth box for those riding

(03:52):
their bicycle. And then you know, come on come on through Friday morning.
It's going to be a fun time. And then of course really the
island opens up at ten am.The festival kicks off and then you know,
we got music shortly after that onFriday, and then later that afternoon
the Kid Zone, Sports Zone opensup. You know, we got Mister
Ed's Carnival that will be opened upthroughout the day. Um and uh yeah,

(04:15):
so we we we have the farmZone, the Kids Zone, Bounce
Houses, Art Zone, all ofthat stuff happening on Friday. You got
the three stages for music. Iright, there's there's at least three other
and I feel like sometimes there's there'sa couple of extracted he's going on along
with that as well. As wetalk about the music as well. People
say where can I find the lineup? Of course you head on over to

(04:38):
brotfest dot com. That's broughtfest dotcom complete lineup of all the events as
well as some of the live music. So that is on Friday, Saturday,
another full day of going at it, isn't it? Yeah? Absolutely
well, just going off of whatyou had mentioned, Yes, you know,
Friday night our headliners, we haveFrankie Ballard with Craig Campbell opening up
for Frankie Ballard on our on ourever Light Soul the Grand Stage going right

(05:01):
into Saturday with again another full dayof event, we'll have actually a full
hitch hook up of the Budweiser clydDale, you know, with a Dalmatian
on top of the wagon in theback something. It's magnificent to see and
it's there their beautiful animals and andwe have that information up on the website
as well when they're going to becoming through on island. Also keep in

(05:21):
mind we actually have a Henry VioletZoo shuttle, that free shuttle that you
can jump on that goes back andforth between the zoo and back to Broadfest
every every half hour throughout the dayas well, so that's that's exciting.
We have a trolley that picks upfolks this year, so we don't have
the golf carts that when you park, there's a couple of trolley stops.
You can either wait if you like, or obviously head on over. We

(05:44):
also on Saturday, we have aside by side fire sprinkler demonstration put on
by the National Fire Sprinkler Association theWisconsin division there so learn learning a little
bit about first fire sprinklers. Weset kind of one room on fire and
put it out all safely, ofcourse, with the Mattison fire department.
Um, and then we have kidsmeet and greed of a lot of awesome,

(06:05):
incredible mascots down in the kids Zoneand even a kid's yoga we're going
to be doing in the kids Zonalater that afternoon as well. That should
be that should be a lot offun and uh. And also I know
a lot of people have questions aboutthings like electric vehicles. I know there's
a big electric vehicle display. Um, you guys are going to have out
there. As far as events anddisplays, again, that's all part of

(06:26):
the event. And then let's let'shead on over to Sunday. Everything is
really rocking on Sunday, isn't it, Eric, Yeah? Absolutely? And
you know what, and again Ihave to mention this Broadway say, Saturday
evening again we have Slaughter that isis our headliner, with Wayland opening up
for them, and then uh,you know, moving into into Sunday,
a full day of some incredible uh. You know, we actually have one

(06:49):
of our stages, yes, youwork, harrect. We have three stages,
Um. One of the stages onSunday we actually turned into our Life
one or two five, our faithbased stage. So there's that opportunity for
those interested and and with that wealso so we have that kind of kicks
off in the morning and then againfull day of events pretty much everything that
we had mentioned that's happening throughout theday. We have a Mad City cornhole

(07:12):
tournament, so a banks tournament that'staking place. I think they will allow
summer walk ups early that morning. But then we also do a military salute
to veterans and soldiers at the elevenforty five with a national anthem. And
then new this year, we rightnow have scheduled four Blackhawk helicopters as a
flyover right at noon. So that'sgoing to be incredible to see if you're
here, especially if you're here onisland, and so come on out for

(07:35):
that. We have the Vietnam Memorialthat has set up so I can pay
respects for those who will pay theultimate sacrifice. I mean, that's something
we don't forget. While we havea lot of fun at the same time,
but we don't forget those that didthat and made that ultimate sacrifice.
And so full day on Sunday, and of course with music all day long.
You know, we have seventy fivebands throughout the entire weekend, but

(07:57):

at the forecast two for all weekendas mention is going to be perfect Sunday.

(08:18):
No mentioned of wind or anything likethat. That means we're talking fireworks,
aren't we. Yeah, absolutely yeah, kicking off. I've read at
nine oh five after Kid in Playas we got some incredible fireworks, some
of the best in the area that'sgoing to be kicked off right to that
evening. So nine oh five we'llhave a good little show of fireworks to
