Come on in, come on in, Come on in, y'all,
come on in, come on in, come on in, come on.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
In, come on in, come on in.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Hey, TikTok, Hey, it's up, Stack YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Come
on in, come on in, come on in, come on in,
come on in. Gonna share a couple of things with
you guys, and then I'm gonna get on off. Get
on that your way so you can continue to day, y'all.
We got a couple of things coming up that I

(00:53):
want to share with you guys so that you guys
can be in the.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Loop to what we're doing.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
For those that don't know who I am, let me
quickly do some little housekeeping, give out a couple lood
catch you up. So I am the visionary of AA
L a C, which is African American author Libacy Awareness campaign,
The Crew Podcast, which is a network of podcasters. We
can currently have nine amazing hosts over on that network,

(01:24):
nine amazing queens that share their voice. I often say
that we are the change that we desire to.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
See in this world.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
So that's who I am. I am just someone that's
out here trying to make a difference, trying to be
that change that I want to see in this world.
Change starts and ends with us. So I'm just out
here trying to be that voice for that person that
think that they don't have a voice. Know that you
do have a voice, and there is something that you're

(01:55):
supposed to be doing regardless of where you are, Know
that you are right where you're supposed to be. Because
God knows what we can go, what we can handle.
He knows what we're going to go through. He knows
all that before we were even conceived in our mother's womb.
We just have to go through the process. We have
to stay the course and stay encouraged. You know, things

(02:18):
come up, we go through things, and we just have
to learn how to deal with those things and how
to get through those things.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Y'all. I am.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Y'all know this month is Mental Health Awareness Month and
we're getting ready to close it out, but this month
is Mental Health Awareness Month. Those that follow me and
have been a part of things that I do, know
that that has been one of my struggles, that has
been one of the things that I have struggled with
on this journey. Today, I'm fifty years old, and I

(02:46):
can tell you that for most of my life I
struggled with it and didn't know what it was. But
probably about six or seven years ago, well, a little
longer than that now, y'all. I keep wanting to push
things back, but it's been a little longer than that,
because I just celebrated ten years.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Being a domestic violence survivor.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
During that process was when I found out about a
lot of the mental health issues that I was dealing
with and that I had been struggling with for years,
depression being one of them, PTSD being another. I was
borderline bipolar, I was a mantic depressiont So I had

(03:30):
a lot of things going on, y'all. But I did
not find out until I went through domestic violence, going
through domestic violence and finding out a lot about me,
finding out a lot about who I was dealing with
things from my childhood, because there are a lot of
things that you know, you you just you cannot identify

(03:53):
because you.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Don't know what they are. You know.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I didn't have nobody talking about depression, didn't have nobody
talking about PTSD, didn't have nobody talking about these things
that I was dealing with. So if they're not talking
about it, they're not dealing with it, then how can
I get helpful it if they're not even acknowledging it.
So going through that process of going through domestic violence,
I was able to discover some things. I was able

(04:16):
to find out a little bit about who I was,
find out a little bit about what I was dealing with,
had an opportunity to sit down with a psychiatrist, had
an opportunity to work with two therapists. Y'all, I had
to have a therapist about one of my therapists. So
that just tells you how deep things were. But I

(04:38):
was willing to go through the process, willing to go
through those things that I needed to go through so
that I could be doing some of the stuff that
y'all see me doing today. Am I am I perfect? No?

Speaker 2 (04:52):
I am not perfect. Do I still struggle? Yes? I
have my days. Depression and grief.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Have been one of those things that I have struggled
with over the last i'm gonna say five years. But
I have learned because now I'm able to identify these
things and now I know I know when I'm feeling
that depression spirit coming over me. I know when I'm

(05:22):
going through grief. Even on yesterday, I had a moment.
I had a moment where I was missing my brother,
and then when I began to miss my brother, I
start missing other people that have gone on before me.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
And then I cried a little bit, and then I
moved from that.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
You know, because I knew my brother, I started hearing
those voices. That's why, y'all, I'm telling you, create memories.
Get out here and create memories. Create those things that
when you start going through, when you start missing your
loved one, you can remember.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Those things that y'all did to You can remember those laughters.
You can remember the good things.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
And that's what helped me get through yesterday. You know,
I remember that my brother would not want me doing this.
He would not want me sitting here crying. He would
not want me sitting here moping and having a pity party.
He would want me out here enjoying life. He will
want me out here pursuing those things that we talked about,

(06:27):
some of the things that he and I talked about.
He would want me out here doing those things so
that I can create and leave a legacy for those
that are coming behind, so that those that may not
knew my brother, they can know my brother because I
vowed to create something that would remind people of who
he is and the things that he done. So that's

(06:49):
what we have to do, and that's what I did
on yesterday as I was preparing to get ready for
this twenty one day challenge. Y'all know, I'm the visionary
of the one hundred douth the movie. So with the
one hundred Out the Movement for those that may not
know what the one hundred Out the Movement is. We
are a diverse group of authors, creatives. We have publishers,

(07:13):
we have editors, we have graphic designers, we have educators, professors, ministers,
you name it. We have all of them a part
of this group because we are a diverse group of
authors that have different backgrounds and our main objective is
the forces, and that is connect, collaborate, create in community.

(07:37):
Bill y'all, we have to learn how to support. And
when I say support, it's not a one way support
because a lot of times we often we want to
solicit services. We want to solicit our services to other
people so that they can be a part of the
things that we're doing, but then we don't want to
offer anything back. It's like it's always one sided. We

(07:59):
don't We're not one side at the one hundred author movement.
I'm going to give constantly anyway, because that's just who
I am. Those that know me, anybody that invite me
to be a part of their platform and to be
a part of what they're doing, know that I just.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
I can't go by myself.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
If you want, we need to come be a part
of your platform, I need you to be able to
invite some more of the people that's a part of
the things that I'm doing because I'm What I am
doing is not just for me. What I'm doing is
for a community of people. Currently, we have forty nine
amazing authors a part of the platform.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
They're active in and active.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Because we do have authors that work jobs, that do
other stuff that can't be active inside of the group.
I understand that. So they are still a part of
what we do, they're just not active inside of our chat.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Y'all.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
We do challenges, we do shout outs, We do stuff
to bring about visibility and to show UH camaraderie, UH teamwork,
shows partnership, things that would keep us together.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
So I'm looking at some of the comments.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Chanette says, I have a jar that I started to
fill up with memories of my son so that when
I have those moments, I can go back and read
the memories.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Good idea. That is a very great idea, Channette.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
You should think about maybe designing some type of jars
or some type of things that you can maybe go
along with your book, and that can be something that
you can incorporate with your brand and name it. Name
that jar, some type of grief jar. Come up with
something that you can incorporate that with your book. That

(09:50):
is a great idea, Chanette.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
I love that. I love that Shanette is chiming in
on Facebook.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
She said that she would. She started a jar and
she filled them with memories of her son. So she
jopped down things and write them put them inside of
the jar. So when she's having those moments, she can
go back and she can pull out one of those
things that she have in there, and she can read
about her son, and she can reflect on her son,

(10:20):
and she can enjoy the moment. Because see, y'all, I
tell you it's okay to have these feelings, and we
all should be able to experience these feelings. If you're angry,
feel angry, feel sad, feel however you feel. You should
be able to feel that way. But know that you
don't have to stay there. And that's what it's about,

(10:42):
not staying where you are.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
It's okay to feel how you feel. Come on, TikTok, y'all,
go ahead, shoot me some basketballs.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Shoot me some basketballs. Shoot me some basketball, Show me
some love, show me some love.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Show you girls some love. Show your girl some love.
Thank you, thank you, Thank you for tuning in, Thank
you for tuning in. If you would, please share this,
Share this, Share.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
This, Share this because you never know what the next
person may be in need of. We are getting ready
to launch our twenty one day Challenge and I would
love for a lot of you guys to participate in
this challenge.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Y'all.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
I'm gonna go over in just a second what the
challenge is going to until, y'all is twenty one days
and it is detailed. It's really going to dive into
some things, gonna really show you how you can be active.
If you do this, and if you are consistent, you
should be able to see a difference in your visibility
and your followship and all of those things.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
But you have to put in the time. You have
to put in and do the work.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
You can't expect for something new to happen if you're
doing the same thing and you're not changing anything, and
it's insanity. That's what it's called insanity. And we're not
moving into insanity. We are moving in excellence when moving
in greatness. So I challenge you TikTok, I challenge you Facebook, YouTube,

(12:04):
Twitch subs that I challenge you to get involved in
the twenty one day Challenge. Y'all, we've been floating the
twenty one day Challenge all around. If you are not
aware of the twenty one day Challenge, if you do
not know how to get attached to the twenty one
day Challenge, please go over to linked treck Queen of

(12:24):
Collaborations and check out the twenty one day Challenge. Y'all
join the twenty one day Challenge. Let me tell y'all
a little bit about the twenty one day Challenge.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Let me pull it up. I got another I got
to pull up on another device.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
But y'all, I'm gonna tell y'all, I'm really not that
tech savvy y'all see me doing all this stuff, y'all
probably think I am so tech savage.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
I got y'all going on full different devices right now,
and I'm trying to pull up something on another device.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
So know that. Know that I just try to make
it happen where I can make it happen.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
I just try to make the best of what I
can and use the resources that I have to do
what I can do to make a difference. And that's
what it's all about. Because we got to remember, if
we take one step, y'all. It ain't in the Bible,
but I believe it because that's what I've been taught.
If we take one step, he gonna take, he gonna
take for a couple of months of us and it's

(13:17):
just us just having faith and believing. So, y'all, I'm
going to go over the twenty one day challenge and
give y'all an overview of what the twenty one day
challenge is. I just gotta pull it up over here
on my other device. Again, the music that's playing in
the background is not my music. It is playing on

(13:38):
Alexa and it is for my entertainment person pers purposes.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
It is playing it.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Is playing lightly in the back, so you may hear
faintly some music playing in the back, but it is
not part of the streaming. It is for my personal
enjoyment as I do this stream. So I am trying
to pull it up, y'all. Gotta find it.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
H let me see shout. Mm hmmm. Gotta check my

(14:34):
blood pressure real quick, y'all.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
M h.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yeah, I'm looking for I'm trying.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
I'm looking for what's the name so I can go
over it with you, guys, because I want to share
it with you.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Here it is.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
I'm sorry, it was just taking me just a little
longer to get to it. I told you I ain't
the I ain't the best with this technology, but I'm
gonna do with it. I'm gonna make it do what
it do.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
So the on One Day Challenge starts on June first,
which is Sunday, and we break it down into weeks
and then we break it down in today. So the
first week is called break the Ice and Build your Story.
The very first day, we're gonna do your origin story.

(15:20):
How did you fall in love with words? That's that's
gonna be the first day. The second day the book
that changed my life. You're gonna review a book and
invite people to come and participate. So you're gonna share
this with your audience. You're gonna engage with your audience.
The third day, we're gonna boost a literary myth, for example,

(15:44):
the truth about becoming a best selling author. So whatever
myth that you have heard, we want you to talk
about those myths, and we want you to dispell of
those myths, like we want you to tell people if
if you know a myth about becoming a best selling
arts so of course we are. Most of us are
now best selling authors. So y'all we know, we know

(16:05):
that it is a myth, so we can tell we
can share with somebody how we became a best selling
author so that they can be encouraged to try to
become a best selling author. So again, that is day four.
Day five is going to be the power of passages.
So what you're gonna do is read a passage from
your book, or if you apart if you haven't done

(16:28):
a personal book, you'll read apart from an anthology. You
gotta do that, and then I say I'm sorry, Day
four I skipped Day four. Day four is a day
in my literary world. So that is you can do
behind the scenes of your workspace, things that you do

(16:49):
to prepare to write, things that you do to whatever
your routines is when it comes to writing. Because you
want to bring people inside of your literary world. So
how do you do that. That's gonna be Day four.
You're gonna have an opportunity to do videos, go live.
You can pre record this stuff or you can actually

(17:10):
go live and show people what you're doing.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Every day.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Requirement is though, that you go live for at least
ten minutes so that people can.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Engage with you and really get involved in what you're doing.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Day six is going to be a Q and a
ask Me anything. So you're gonna allow your community to
ask you questions. And now what I would do is
I would do it in the form of something that
you can capture their emails so that you can stay
in contact with them so that you can reach out
to them and if you get an opportunity, because you

(17:47):
may not get to answer everybody question, what I would
do is also follow up with those that are active,
those that participate, follow up with them. Now, we got
to learn how to be intentional and how to really
engage and connect with those that support the things that
we do. They don't come over and support us just
because they was drawn to us for a reason, and

(18:07):
we got to learn how to support them back for
supporting us. So we gotta come up with ways to
do that. Day seven A it's tribute time. Day seven
is tribute time. So this is what you're gonna do.
You're going to spotlight a unappreciated literary figure or mentor.
So this is your time to showcase those that have

(18:30):
mentored you, those that you think are in the literary
world that are not being recognized like they should be recognized.
It may be your favorite author, it may be a publisher,
it may be an editor, it may be a graphic designer.
It may be somebody that's in the literary world that's
doing amazing work and nobody is recognizing them. So this
is your opportunity to put a spotlight on them and

(18:53):
to do a tribute for them.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
And that closes out Week one.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
So what I did in each section was also if
you go over and check out the actual outline for
the twenty one day challenge, it has a reflection and
summary reflection. So we'll go over what we did throughout
that week and reflect on that.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
So this is what it says.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
It says by the end of week one, you should
have shared personal stories and values, initiated thoughtful conversation around
books and writing, Engage with your audience through interactive content
and Q and a's a begun to foster a welcoming
and inform loyal community around your literary journey. This is

(19:42):
connecting with those that support you. This is connecting with
those that come over and follow your page. If these
elements took place, you lay a strong foundation for a
deeper engagement and set in inviting tone for the weeks

(20:02):
to come.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
If not, if you did not.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
Consider which pieces can be revisited and repurpose to connect
with your community.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Say you you skip a.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Day, or you forget to do one, or you join late,
you have an opportunity to catch up.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
You have an opportunity to revisit.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
You have an opportunity to go back and repurpose things,
so you have an opportunity to be involved Week two.
It's called spark the conversation and disrub the norm. Spark
the conversation and disrupt the norm. So day eight is
the dark Side talk openly about rejection, writers, bark, and failure.

(20:48):
This is the opportunity where you can talk about those
things that did not go how you expected them to go.
You can talk about some of these maybe not so
good reviews that you may have received, and you can
talk about, you know, your feelings, your perspective, how you
have felt on this journey.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
So if you receive.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Rejection letters, for some that have a inquired to these
big publishing houses, if you have gotten rejection letters, if
you want to talk about those rejection letters and how
you felt and what you did to move from that,
this is your opportunity to share, because you sharing could
help somebody else. So this is the opportunity to do that.

(21:29):
They dine your shake up debate. So this is what
we'll do. Literary fiction versus commercial poetry, versus pros, etc.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
So we're shaking it up.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
So you we're gonna have We want you to find
someone that is opposite your juror so that you can
talk about and discuss differences and lights and just have
a debate. And this is connecting with someone. For those
that are attached to the one hundred aufter movement, you
have forty eight other people that you can connect with

(22:09):
and do this with. And during this process, we should
have accountability partners. We should have someone that is making
sure that we are standing the course and we are
making sure that they're standing the course. So this will
be a great opportunity to have accountability partner, to have
someone that is doing this with you, and y'all can

(22:29):
keep tabs on each other. Y'all can push each other,
y'all can motivate each other. Y'all can encourage each other.
They ten If I was editor in chief, what would
you change about the literary world? This is your opportunity
to talk about what you would do different inside of

(22:50):
the literary world. What have you noticed that you would
do different. What are some things that you would encourage
others to do if you were the editor in chief?
Literary controversy, discuss a hot literary topic. Examples diversity AI
in books. Also, we can talk about band books. You

(23:12):
can talk about various different things and these are just
examples of things that you can talk about. Day twelve
is the flash fiction Poetry Slam. We want you to
create a live or invite audience to participate.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
And you can do a flash fiction.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Where you can just read, or you can have where
y'all can just read different parts of your books. Or
you can have a poetry slam where you can just share.
If you are a poet, you can share your poetry
because I know a lot of us in the one
hundred Author movement are poets as well as authors.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
Day thirteen Host a guest. This is when you bring.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
Another author or creative onto a live and y'all y'll
talk about you'll brands you in gauge with that author
that you bring into the platform. Day fourteen crowd source
a story. Write a story together with live suggestions, take

(24:18):
suggestions from your audience, Get your audience involved, get them
involved in the storyline, get them involved in the characters,
get them involved, and y'all write that story together. And
that is they fourteen. So this is a reflection for
day for week two. So and I outline this, and

(24:43):
it's an outline so that you can follow it and
you can keep up with it, and you can make
notes so you can jot it down. So once you
join the challenge, you would get outline of this so
you'll know exactly what you're supposed to be doing every day.
And then it gives you like little examples and stuff.
So after we've completed week two, the reflection, spark the

(25:05):
conversation and disrupt the norm.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Disrupt the norm.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Congratulations on wrapping up a bowl and thoughtful, provoking week.
Let's reflect on how your creative community face challenges, debated ideas,
and embrace new ways of thinking. Consider exploring these things
and these are suggestions are these are just options that

(25:32):
you can explore. Again, this is coming from the twenty
one day challenge that keeps off on June first. You
still have time to join. It is not too late.
So these are things that you can consider exploring. Which
day topic rejection, gear, debate, controversy, ETETA spark the most
discussion and emotion. How did your audience feel about opening

(25:56):
up to uncomfortable or controversial subjects. Did your coming say
around the topics like literary norms, AI or diversity change
your perspective? It's so how like we got to have
these conversations with our audience, with ourselves and with those
that are around us, because we want to know that
if we're going to continue to be writers, we're going

(26:16):
to continue to be answers, We're going to continue to
push our work that we have out here. We want
to know what are our supporters, what our readers, what
are those that are engaging with us? How do they
enjoy our stuff? What are they doing? And what don't
they like about our stuff? We want to know at all.
We want to know it all because we want to
know how that we can do better, How can we

(26:38):
perfect the things that we're doing, and how we can
better what we're doing so that we can continue to
put out stuff that you would want to purchase, stuff
that you would want to support. Also, which live event,
your flash fiction, your poetry slam, your guess check, your
crowdsource story which generated surprising ideas, connections and collaborations. So

(27:01):
this is this is what you want to see what works.
This is how you evaluate what works and what does
not work. So you can go back and you can
see what works for you and what doesn't. So how
can you carry forward the momentum from these from this honest,
wide range conversation in your ongoing writing or creative journey.

(27:23):
And that's what I wanted to do. Spot spark that conversation,
you know, get that conversation going, whether we're having it
for with ourselves or we're having it with other people. Okay,
wrap up your reflection by noting this any changes you
like to see in your literary space after the week's dialogue.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Is there anything that you would do different, anything that
you want to change, any risk you took in what
you learned from them?

Speaker 1 (27:51):
So did you step outside your box with participating in
this twenty one day challenge? Was it something different than
you normally do? Did you step outside.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Your comfort zone? We participate and.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
If you did, how did you feel stepping outside your
comfort zone? How did you feel doing something totally different?
In one conversation or moment you want to remember or
an inspirational moving forward?

Speaker 2 (28:19):
What one thing that you can take away from here?

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Always when you go into something, be purpose and intentional
about taking something away from what you're doing.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Don't just go in open, go in with an intention
of taking something away.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
Now we got a couple of more We got a
couple of more sections week three, So now we're moving
on to week three.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Week three is.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
Building community and launch your vision. So now we started
to develop some things. Now we're working on establishing and
developing the community that you have. Most of us have
already developed a community. We already have followers. We already

(29:04):
have pages, we've already established the brand, We've already start
the footwork. Now it's time to just keep it up
and to reflect on what we are starting to be.
So building a community and launching your vision. Day fifteen
Reading Challenge, Assign a prompt, discuss with the community what

(29:29):
the prompt is about and what you're what whatever you're
gonna talk about. So you assign a prompt and then
you discuss it with your community. So if you have
a book out already and you wanna talk about your book,
you put a promp up about your book and then
y'all discuss that. Day sixteen is called a rapid fire.
It's in literary questions in ten minutes, invite audience to answer.

(29:55):
So you're gonna have ten questions that you're gonna be
posting for your audience.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
You come up with these questions and post.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
If it's about your book, if it's about something that
y'all have been engaging on your personal page. Because I
hope that you are engaging with the people that support
you on your page and you're not just posting stuff
and not engaging with them. So if they are engaging
and they have been engaging. You have an opportunity to
do the rapid fire just ten literary questions. It can

(30:27):
be all about your book if you want to find
out how much they know about you, know about your book,
know about the platform.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
It can totally be about nothing but you. But if
you want to just.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Be about the literary world, you can incorporate it into
about the literary world as well. So Day seventeen Future
lit Predictions for publishing, tech and storytelling.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
We want to hear what you think the future of
literature is going to be. We want your perspective, So
this is your opportunity to share those things.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
You can do it in the form of a life
or you can do it in the form of a post,
but we.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Just want your feedback.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
Day eighteen we want you to do a live book pitch,
share your brand, your book in sixty seconds, and invite feedback.
That is Day number eighteen. Day number nineteen is give back.
Announce a freebie, a giveaway, or a resource for your audience.

(31:28):
You always should be willing to give something back. If
they have been supporting you, they have been sharing you,
they have been encouraging other people to come over and
support the things that you're doing, you should be giving
back as well.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
So give away a freebie, give away, a.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Discount, a resource, give away, something that can be beneficial
to those that support you, so that they will continue
to support you and that they would share what you're
doing with somebody else. Day twenty one, y'all, no, I'm sorry.
Day twenty it's testimonies and shoutouts. This is the highlight,

(32:07):
community members and audience impact. This is the time where
you can shout out all those that have supported you,
all your supporters that have shared, shared your lives, they
shared your book. They have actually actively committed and participated
all twenty one days.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
They have supported you. They have I mean they have
been there.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
This is the time that you want to give those
shoutouts and give those testimonies and share with people what
has been taking place over these last twenty days.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
So that is your time to do that. And then
Day twenty one it is the brand finality, y'all. This
is the end. This is the last day.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
Y'all have fought through it, you have stoock with it,
you have you've stood the test you endure. So the
grand finalite, we want you to celebrate your wins. We
want you to celebrate your wins, y'all. That's what it's
all about. Celebrate your wins. How do you celebrate your wins?
You share results, make announcements of your next big move,

(33:18):
your book launch, y'all.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
Celebrate your community, those that support you.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Talk about if you got courses coming out, you got
upcoming events, you got opportunity for anthologies, anything that you
may have, y'all, that is.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
The time to share.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
So that is week three. Now reflection for week three. Again,
congratulations because now you are completed Week three. This has
been a powerhouse of connections, creative and forward thinking energy.
As this chapter wraps up, take a moment to look

(33:59):
back at all you and your community have achieved. Know
that you didn't do it by yourself. That there were
some people that were cheering you own, that were supporters,
that were tuning in every day, that were sharing. Those
are the ones that you want to celebrate. Now we
want you to dive into a You have read your stuff,

(34:22):
You've done challenges, you've shared discoveries, you've done book recommendations,
you've done inspiring discussions. You've done a lot to really
get people engaged. So now test your literary instinct with
your your rapid fire questions. We want to make sure
that you that you are able to.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
Connect with your audience. Reflect on those questions that captured
that captures your attention, and then we want to reflect how.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
You grew over these twenty one days. You know what work,
what didn't work, That's what we want to know. How
did your own vision for this space shift and expand
through the process. So what did you think in the
beginning and how did it change towards the end. Did

(35:20):
you think that you were going to be able to
do all of this stuff as you begin to partake
in it, As you begin.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
To do it, did it get better? Was it beneficial?

Speaker 1 (35:31):
Like we want honest feedback, but as you move forward?
After we have an as you move forward section, we
reflect on all the it and then I give you
some tips buzz for boosting tips is what it's called.
So I give you some tips to boost your visibility

(35:52):
and to help you during this process. So using consistent hashtags,
create your hashtags, create you some hashtags that you you
want to use throughout this twenty one days, something that
you can incorporate into your brand that you're already doing.
So for us, we use hashtag one hundred Authors on

(36:13):
the move. We use hashtags one hundred authors to watch,
hashtags authors on the Rise, and then hashtag, collaborate, hashtag, create, hashtag, community,
hashtag aa LAC, and you hashtag your brand because we
want to make sure that you are recognizing your brand.

(36:35):
So if you want to be a part of the
twenty one day challenge, please make sure to get connected,
and we also encourage you to share it with somebody
pay it forward. If you're not attached to the one
hundred Author movement, y'all, we have fifty one more spots
join be a part of the movement. You get to

(36:57):
connect with ninety nine other like minded individuals that are
doing the same thing. They have the same goals, that
have the same aspirations. Our number one goal is to
be the change that we desire to see in this work,
and change starts and ends with us. So with that
being said, y'all, I want to challenge you guys to

(37:20):
get attached, get attached to the things that we're doing
over here with the Crew Podcast, Aspiring Autic Magazine aa LAC,
which is the African American Author Literacy Awareness campaign.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
But we truly believe in bringing awareness to black and
brown aptors around the world in those topics that are
affecting our black and brown community because a lot of
things people don't want to talk about that need to
be a talked about in address within our black and
brown community. Again, y'all, as we close out Mental Health
Awareness Month, it does not stop. Mental Health Awareness is

(37:55):
a three hundred and sixty five day thing for me twenty.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
Four to seven because I am I am a overcomer,
I am a warrior, I am a conqueror, because I
deal with these things, and I want other people to
know that you can. You can't still function, you can
still thrive, you can still walk in your purpose and
deal with those things.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
Because we have to understand too.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
If we read and we understand our Bible, there were
people in the Bible that deal with anxiety, depression, and
all those other things everything that we're dealing with. Know
that people before us deal with those same things. He's
already made a way out. He provided us with resources,
he provided us with doctors. They are here for a reason. No,

(38:44):
they may not be able to do all of the
work because then now once you get your diagnosis, now
you know what you're dealing with. Now you figned out,
you can research yourself. You can find out what you
need to do to be the best version of yourself.
Because at the end of the day, y'all, we got
to understand that doctors, y'all, they have a license to practice.

(39:09):
They are not the say it all, know it all,
the end of it all. Because they have a license
to practice, they're practicing on you. They're they're practicing these
different drugs. They're practicing. They're not they're not the final
say so as they can practice, so can you. So
when when when things are I'm telling you you need

(39:34):
to know what's going on with you and learn how
to incorporate, y'all, the word. He don't give us all
the things that we need. We got to learn how
to put that word in our life and apply it
to our life. Because we pick up that Bible and
it may say John, it may say Mark, it may
say Mary, it may say Susie, it may say how
whole lot of other names. But you got to learn

(39:55):
how to put your name in the place of those names.
Because what he did for one, he said he would
do for us all. So we got to know that
and we gotta understand that, and we got to believe that.

Speaker 2 (40:07):
So know that. So I am Queen Angela.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
I am the visionary of AA L a C, which
is African American out the Legacy were in this campaign,
also the visionary of The Crew podcast, which is an
amazing all female network of podcasters.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
We are a diverse group of podcasters.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
We come from social workers, professors, librarians, medical workers.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
Individuals with disabilities, entrepreneurs, you name.

Speaker 1 (40:39):
It, we are that group. We're all authors in our
own rights. Some of us are do publishing, we are coaches.
We do a lot, but we're able to share other
people's perspectives. We're able to share them through the outlets
that we have. We have a magazine and we also

(41:01):
have a grief support group. We on live on The
Crew podcast every fifth Sunday, So whenever there's a fifth Sunday.

Speaker 2 (41:10):
In the month, we will be on live. We will
be sharing this.

Speaker 1 (41:16):
Coming up in June, we're gonna have two guests on
and we're just gonna be talking and sharing. Matter of fact,
one of our co hosts is also going to be
one of our guests because she has been dealing with
she's had to deal with the grief process of losing
her mom. So she's gonna be on that podcast with us.
If you are dealing with grief, I encourage you to

(41:39):
follow us. We are on Facebook. We are the Healing
Voices NAVI Navigating through Grief. That is the name of
our podcast. And again I say we air every fifth Sunday.
We are also we are also attached to the Matters

(41:59):
of the Art conference is a quarterly conference. We're getting
ready to go into our third. Our third conference. I
think we had the first one back in February. The
second one was the beginning of this month May, and
then we're gonna have the third one. It's gonna be
in August, and then we'll close out in November with

(42:22):
our fourth conference. And it's called Matters of the Heart
because we all know that God deals with our heart.
He deals with our heart, and if we are passionate
about those things, if we place it on our heart,
if we place it down in our heart, we can
see and we can see how God works in our life,

(42:43):
how He moves in our life. But y'all, we have
to put it in our heart. A lot of us
we have good intentions, but it's really not what's in
our heart. So we wonder why things don't always go
the way that we want them to go. I tell you,
God deals with the matters of your heart. You put
it in your heart, and you truly, you truly mean it.

(43:06):
It's gonna come to pass. It's gonna manifest in your life.
And we have to learn how to use these words
that he's given us. Now he's given us the instructions
in the Bible. He's given us these instructions like this
is the basic. It is the basic instructions before leaving earth.

(43:28):
So we have to apply these things. No, everything in
there may.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
Not work for you, because you have your.

Speaker 1 (43:36):
Own journey, you have your own everything were all made
up different, so it may not exactly.

Speaker 2 (43:42):
Work for you. But you'll never know what will work if.

Speaker 1 (43:46):
You're not applying. So a lot of us we're sitting
and we're waiting. We're waiting for things to fall out
the sky. We're waiting for things to happen that's not
going to happen. We have to be we have to
be the blueprint of our our lives. If you want
to leave a legacy, you have to get out here
and do something to leave a legacy. A legacy is

(44:08):
just not gonna fall out the sky.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
You know, no one is.

Speaker 1 (44:11):
Coming to help you. He told us to look to
the heels from which our help comes. And it was
just to remind us. If we look up and we
look out and we see all of this amazing stuff
out here, he our daddy owns it. It belongs to
our daddy. Our daddy got all this. So guess what
If it belongs to our daddy, that means we got
access to it. And how do you get access to it?

(44:34):
Not by sitting down. You got to get up and
do something. He said, faith with God works is dead.
So if you're not doing anything but believing it ain't happening,
it ain't happening. And I do not want to be
one of those people that end up in that box.
And I got all these things inside of me that
I did not allow to come forth that He's placed

(44:55):
inside of me because he gives us gifts and talents.
And if you keep coming across this page, and you
keep coming across this live, you keep coming across the
the reals you keep coming across, then know that there's
something that you're supposed to be doing. Because stuff is
not gonna keep popping up and keep coming across your path.
If there's not something that you're supposed to be doing,

(45:18):
it's not a coincidence, because I don't believe in coincidence.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
Everything is ordained.

Speaker 1 (45:22):
He knew that this day would be this day before
I was even conceived. In my mother's room Jeremih twenty
nine and eleven. It says he declared. If he declared,
that means that he past him declared means past tend.
That means that he's already done this stuff for us.
When he said it was done, y'all, it was done.

(45:42):
There's nothing new following under the sky. There's nothing new.
There's no white savior horse coming out the sky to
save you. There's nobody coming to save you. If you
want to be saved, you gotta save yourself. How do
you save yourself? You gotta know who you are. You
gotta know what your purpose is. You gotta know why
you were placed here on this earth. There are people

(46:05):
that you're supposed to be impacted. No, we may not
reach everybody. It's not our job to reach everybody. We're
not gonna reach everybody, but you got to be able
to reach those that are in your path because you
don't want blood on your hands.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
And that's how I have felt.

Speaker 1 (46:24):
I felt like when I got out of place, when
I got out of course, there were people that were
depending on me. There were lives that could have been
railed when I was out there doing what I was
doing and not doing what I was supposed to be
doing when I got off course, when I got off track.
So now we got to make sure that we are

(46:46):
in a line.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
No, we're not perfect.

Speaker 1 (46:49):
I'm not saying you got to be perfect, but you
got to have a heart, a willing heart, a heart
that's willing to change, that's willing to train as form.
See when we repent and be willing to turn from
those things, y'all, God, he's just to forgive us. He's
said he will forgive us. And once he forgives us, y'all,

(47:12):
we just got to forgive ourselves and move on. We
can't continue to hold things over our head and hold
the past over our head. I'm often reminded by something
that one of my prayer best Desactioneeria. She's saying, it's
our past. It is our past that brought us to
this prayer line. It is our past that makes us

(47:34):
fall down on our knees. It is our past that
that that that pushes us and makes us want to
do right. So don't think we just got here, and
don't think that we are perfect, because we are not.

Speaker 2 (47:48):
Y'all.

Speaker 1 (47:48):
We struggle a lot of us, A lot of these
people that you see doing this stuff, that's doing these lives,
that's that's that's coaches, that's motivational speakers, that's doing the
things that you see us doing. We're doing it because
the place that we come from and us not wanting
other people to go down the roads that we went down,
wanting other people to have better wanting people to not

(48:10):
have to go through what we en doing. So if
I can help loosen that, if I can help, you know,
make your.

Speaker 2 (48:16):
Journey less uh.

Speaker 1 (48:22):
But turn off and and hardship and less distractions, then
that's what I want to do. I want to be
a helpmate and not a distraction, and that's what we
should be doing. So I want to encourage you guys.
If you are authors and you are not attached to

(48:45):
the movement, I want you to get attached to the movement.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
It's an opportunity for you to connect with other authors.
It's an opportunity for you to network. It's an opportunity
for you to be involved in the live events that
we do because we go out and we go to
different cities. We have currently the Chase in Your Dream
Book Tour. Were getting ready to head to Chicago. We're
headed into Spartanburg, South Carolina. We're headed to New York.

(49:14):
We're headed to.

Speaker 1 (49:17):
Charleston, South Carolina, California, Riverside, California, and then we're gonna
close out in San Antonio, Texas. So you guys have
an opportunity to connect with other like minded authors if
you are an author and you're looking for a platform
an environment like that. We have a group chat and

(49:41):
then we have two pages that we uh well. We
have two groups and a page, and then we have
a group chat where we do a lot of our communication,
a lot of staying in communications with each other. If
you're on Facebook, we have a chat where we're inside
of the chat, we share in words. If there's any

(50:03):
opportunities that come up, say individuals are doing podcasting, they
have radio shows, they have magazines, there have been awards
that have come across. We share all of that inside
of that chat so that you can have an opportunity
to showcase your brand. It's not about competition over there.
It is all about us bringing these things to the

(50:24):
forefront so that if others want to participate. We have
individuals that have been nominated for awards and they come
and they share how they got nominated so that other
people can get nominated and share their brain. And that's
what it's all about. At the end of the day.
It's all about us helping and supporting each other go
to the next level and helping each other get visibility,

(50:45):
to get seen and to get heard. I'm new to
this over here on TikTok. I'm getting used to it.
I'm learning a little bit. I gotta know, I gotta
engage a little more. I'm not new to TikTok, but
as far as the lives and the engaging and the interaction,

(51:06):
that's something that I have not been doing. But it's
something that I'm going to do more of. I'm going
to do more of in the near future. We are
working on that now, so y'all will see me, y'all
will see me going.

Speaker 2 (51:20):
Live right now. I am live on.

Speaker 1 (51:23):
Most all of our platforms that we stream live through
which is substat.

Speaker 2 (51:31):
Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.

Speaker 1 (51:36):
I'm still trying to figure out how I can stream
TikTok through our streaming platform because we have.

Speaker 2 (51:47):
I use.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
EVEV moots even even it even moots whatever it's called.
That's a platform I use. It's something like stream yard,
but I like it. I like the graphic part of it.
It's more and then it's a lot clear. The volumes
are are good. Sometimes there is some issues, because y'all

(52:11):
know what all these technology and all these platforms. There
are issues, but the issues that we have sometimes don't
outweigh the benefits of the platform and the different things
that we're able to utilize with the platform. So I'm
grateful for that. I'm grateful for that and the upgrade
on that. Again, we have an opportunity to stream to

(52:33):
nine platforms at the same time. So that's we are
live now here on Twitch YouTube, and then I'm streaming
to five six different platform within Facebook's six different areas
within Facebook. I think, yeah, I got quite a few
pages on Facebook because I have quite a few different things.

Speaker 2 (52:56):
That I do.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
I have one for the podcast, have one for the magazine,
have one for my coaching program have one for the authors,
so I have quite a few different pages over there,
so we scream on those pages because we want to
keep everybody. We want to keep everybody in the loop.
We want everybody to know what's going on. But I think, y'all,

(53:17):
that's about it for me, I've shared a lot. The
most important thing is get involved in that twenty one
day challenge. Get involved in the one hundred author movement.
If you are not already attached, I'm telling you it
is an opportunity for you the network. If you are
someone that like to collaborate, like to partner, like to

(53:40):
support others while supporting yourself, and you want that same support,
then this is the group because we believe in support,
and we believe in network, and we believe in collaborating.
So definitely want you guys to join the group and
get attached to some of the things that we're doing.
We may be coming to your city. You can get
in and be a part of the event when it

(54:02):
comes to your city. See how you can be involved.
You have to be attached to the movement in order
to be involved, So get involved with the movement if
you want visibility, if you want to attach y'all come
on over, join the twenty one day Challenge and allow your.

Speaker 2 (54:20):
Brand to be seen in her.

Speaker 1 (54:22):
No'aw, it's up to you because you are the face
of your brand and nobody can tell your story like you.
So y'all get involved, get attached, and allow him to
move in your life. Y'all, when we move out of
the way, then he can move and he can do
the things that he want to do. So I'm on
pause for a moment. If y'all got some questions, post

(54:45):
your questions. Post your questions. If you got some comments,
do you like for me to read on the air?
Post your comments. I can read them, get them up
on the air. I want to thank everybody over on
TikTok that is chiming in. I appreciate you, guys. I
appreciate you guys. I appreciate you for all the love.
Go ahead, shoot me some basketball. For all those that know,

(55:05):
I played basketball at Morris Brown here at Atlanta, So
my little gift over on TikTok is the basketball. So
y'all shoot me some basketballs. If you win, show me
some love and support here on TikTok. And if you
on Facebook, if you on Facebook, if you want to support.

(55:25):
If you want to support, you can, y'all. You can
send some you can send some stars. We do take stars.
You can send some stars, or you can subscribe. You
can subscribe if you on Facebook, you can't substrive to
the platform. That way, whenever I go live, you will

(55:46):
definitely be notified of the lives. Anytime we go live
with the podcast anything, you will be in the loop.
Only ninety nine cent a month, y'all, that would be
the best nine to nine cent. I promise you that
you've invested in yourself, not nine cent a month to
subscrive over there on my platform. And that is last

(56:06):
name first, Smith, Thomas Angela, Smith Thomas Angela. That is
the platform on Facebook, y'all, go over subscribe only ninety
nine cents, and that is how you can support me.
That is one of the major ways that you can
support the things that I do. I often hear people
say that they love what I do. If you love

(56:26):
what I do, invest that not a nine cent, y'all,
It's only not a nine.

Speaker 2 (56:30):
Cent And I'm sure get you get your note a nine.

Speaker 1 (56:34):
Cent value by the content that I post, the nuggets
that I drop, the things that I do, You're definitely
gonna get it. You're gonna get You're gonna get your
nine a nine cent worth. So if you're on Facebook,
if you follow me, y'all, go ahead and substride. It's
only nine a nine cent. That ninety nine cent will
help me continue to be able to breathe the content.

(56:54):
It will help me to be able to continue to
do the things that I'm doing. To support you, guys,
i'lsow all those that are over here on TikTok. Just
send me, Send me some gifts, send me some love.

Speaker 2 (57:08):
That's all. Just send a gifts and a love. That's
all you y'atta do.

Speaker 1 (57:15):
Send me a basketball or two, Send me some roses,
send me something. Join the fan club. You can join
the fan club. You can support in so many ways.
It's totally up to you how you want to support.
But you can support in so many different ways. If
you just want to make a donation, y'all always could donate.

(57:38):
Anything you need to know, it's on my page.

Speaker 2 (57:41):

over to Amazon by book you Also, I have a
page that has all of my books listed on it.
You can go over and order books from there. I

(58:07):
have truly, truly, I'm trying.

Speaker 2 (58:10):
To do this. I'm live on.

Speaker 1 (58:15):
TikTok too, so something had popped up, so I was
trying to to see what it was.

Speaker 2 (58:20):
Saying, not being distracted. Sorry about that, y'all. Thank you,
thank you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
But yeah, I definitely want you guys to get involved
in what we got going on. If you are looking
for an opportunity to share your brand, this is a
great opportunity to share your brand. Again, you are connected
to approximately ninety nine other individuals. We may have some
authors that are not active, but it does not stop

(58:52):
us from utilizing the.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
Ones that are active.

Speaker 1 (58:55):
So you have an opportunity to connect with nine nine
other like minded individuals that it's out here.

Speaker 2 (59:04):
What we have. One thing that we all have in
coming is we all have a story. We all have
a story.

Speaker 1 (59:11):
We all have something that somebody else can benefit from.
The one thing is are you willing to share that story?
Are you willing to be vulnerable enough to allow individuals
to connect with you? So the other individuals can be
healed as you heal. That's what I say. We are
healing and we allow on others to heal as we

(59:33):
heal by sharing our story, by sharing our perspective, by
doing those things that we're doing. So I encourage you guys,
do not sit by and be idle. Utilize those gifts
and those talents. If you have a gift of writing poetry,

(59:54):
write some poetry, find out.

Speaker 2 (59:57):
How you can.

Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
Not how you can incorporate your poetry into a business.

Speaker 2 (01:00:07):
So I have several people that.

Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
They said they just started writing poetry and then people
would just ask them to write different things for different things.
So they was they started. I have some that started
a business. She does birthdays, she do graduations, any type
of event that somebody wants a special personalized poem, they usually.

Speaker 2 (01:00:33):
Reach out to her.

Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
She does the poems, she even does a little design,
she frames it and then she ships it to them. Yeah,
there's all types of things that you can incorporate with
your brand, with your books, with your whatever it is
that you're doing. Give gift boxes every month. Like if

(01:00:56):
you have a book and you have you can create
a book club that has a gift box and you
can send out a gift box every month, you can
do prizes like y'all. There's so much stuff that you
can do as an author to push your brand and
to really develop a community, and just because y'all.

Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
And then you gotta think to y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
A lot of us we go in these groups and
we're just posting our books, and we're thinking that, hey,
these people, if you're not connecting with them, they're not
gonna buy your book. People want to know who you are.
And that has been the concisest across various platforms that
I have been on. I've interviewed people, I've talked to people,
I've sit down and even talking with readers and those

(01:01:52):
that buy your book, you know, one of the things
that they'd say is they want to connect to the author.
They want to know who the author is. They want
to get a like cause some of these people when
they reading your book, they are really thinking that they're
in your life, that they are a part of your life.
So that's the connection that they want. So you have
to be able to provide that connection. You have to

(01:02:12):
be relatable. We have to be relatable. We can't just
assume that you know, because people follow us that.

Speaker 2 (01:02:20):
They can relate to us.

Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
And then sometimes people follow us and we may not
even be who they need, but they know that because
of the things that we do that people may come across,
so they stay on the platform and they follow.

Speaker 2 (01:02:35):
But you may be the person that the person on
my platform is in need of.

Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
But if you're not coming forth and showing yourself, utilizing
the opportunity to make yourself known, then how would they
know you? How would they know your services? How would
they know what books you provide? How would they know
your coaching program? How would they know anything about you?

Speaker 2 (01:02:57):
If you are not sharing.

Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
Sometimes we are our worst enemy because a lot of
us we want to move in silence.

Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
We want to stay behind the scenes. We don't want
to come to the forefront.

Speaker 1 (01:03:14):
We want to be private people because we don't want
people to know who we are. Honestly, you know what
that what private? What that's all about. That's still some
healing that needs to take place. To be honest, that's
still some healing that need to take place. Because he

(01:03:35):
didn't tell us to be in secret here. The only
thing that he said for us to do in secret
was to pray and to to to fast and when
you're doing that anyway, that is something that you're doing
for yourself. You're not doing it for anyone else.

Speaker 2 (01:03:55):
So it should be done in secret.

Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
But when you're out here in pact the lives, and
you're out here, if you're saying.

Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
You're a speaker, you're a motivation, there's.

Speaker 1 (01:04:04):
No way that you can move in silence. There's no
way that you can move secretly. And you're an influencer
and you're supposed to be impacting lives. You're supposed to
be that change. You can't be quiet and stay in
the background and think that you're gonna be able to

(01:04:24):
influence and impact anybody.

Speaker 2 (01:04:27):
Because the first thing when people see you, they're gonna
think you give it in. They're gonna they don't want
to be I don't know what they gonna know. They
need to see you out in the front.

Speaker 1 (01:04:37):
They need to see you moving and operating in that
that God has called you too. I'm telling you that
because I used to be that person, y'all. I used
to be that person. I used to think that because
I didn't have all the accolades.

Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
Didn't have all of the degrees, I.

Speaker 1 (01:04:56):
Didn't have all of the education, I didn't have all
of the things that people were throwing around that hey,
I wasn't hey, I wasn't up there on they level.
So I was just staying in the background, just doing
what I knew that I thought I was supposed to
be doing, and just doing it and just making it
do what it does. And then God kept placing me
in the midst of people. He kept placing me in

(01:05:18):
the circle with people. And every time I would get
placed in the circle with people, this would be one
of the things that they would say. It's not about titles,
it's not about degrees, it's not about education. But it's
about that that God is placed in you. He's given
us all gifts and talents in his word Proverbs eighteen
and sixteen and say he will make room for you.

(01:05:41):
Your gifts will make room for you and make you
great before men. And that is paraphrase. But if you
go over to Proverbs eighteen and sixteen, you can read
it for yourself. Not only read it for yourself, speak
it over your life and allow it to be life
so that it can manifest in your life. To a
lot of we see this stuff, we read this stuff,

(01:06:01):
but we don't believe it and then we don't even
speak it over our lives, y'all. I had to speak
Jeremiah twenty nine eleven over my life. I had to
recite that to myself. I had to repeat it to myself,
repeat it to myself, repeat it to myself. Until one
day I got up and I realized that I had
a purpose, because when God dropped it in my spirit,
I was like, ain't no way I'm supposed to have

(01:06:23):
a purpose in going through all of this.

Speaker 2 (01:06:25):
There's no way this is my purpose.

Speaker 1 (01:06:28):
Going through domestic violence on the brink of committing suicide suicide,
I was suicidal and going through domestic violence, and I
was like, ain't no way this can be my purpose,
not knowing that everything that I endured, everything that I
went through, y'all, made me able to be able to

(01:06:51):
do the stuff that I'm doing now. If I not
went through domestic violence, if I had not been shot
blank range with a side off shotgun, how would I
be able to host the twenty four hour domestic Violence
Awareness Conference and give other individuals, other advocates, and other
survivors and opportunity to share their story, to connect with

(01:07:13):
other people so that they know that they don't have
to go through this, that they're not alone on this journey.
But I had to go through it. If I'm not
endo it, how could I be here telling you about
it today. So whatever you're going through, whatever you have
went through, know that it was necessary. It was required,

(01:07:35):
It was a part of the process because if you
not went through it, you wouldn't be able to tell
somebody else how you got through it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:44):
And because you got through it, you're.

Speaker 1 (01:07:46):
Able to help somebody else. So hold on to that
and trust the process and know that there's nothing, nothing,
that God has all out to come upon you that
he didn't already know.

Speaker 2 (01:08:04):
Y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:08:04):
He knew it before we were even in our mother's womb.
He knew everything that was gonna take place in our life.
So trust and believe that he's already made a way out.
He's already made a way out, he's already ordained and
mapped it out. Now it's up to you to walk
into it. It's up to you to walk into it.

(01:08:25):
It's up to you to catch up with your destiny.
And if you don't know what your destiny is, if
you don't know what your purpose is, if you don't
know what it is that you're supposed to be doing, y'all.
We got coaches over here. I am a coach, you
see right here. Coach I can help you. I can
help you tap into those gifts and those talents that's

(01:08:46):
on the inside of you, because y'all, they're there. You
didn't get dropped out of the sky. You were tritgively
placed in this earth, and you were placed here for
a reason. It's up to us to discover what those
reasons are. Find out what it is that we're supposed
to be doing, how we are supposed to be impacting lives,

(01:09:07):
because that is what we're supposed to be doing. Walk
in your destiny, catch up with your destiny. Allow those
things that he said, those things that have been spoken
over your life, and those things that have been prophesied
over your life, y'all, allow them to manifest, allow them

(01:09:29):
to come to pass.

Speaker 2 (01:09:32):
How do you do that.

Speaker 1 (01:09:34):
You gotta get out here and do something. You can't
keep sitting down and expecting things to happen in your life.
I'm not gonna stop saying it. You gotta get up,
you gotta move, you gotta put some off behind it.
We got books in us, we got podcasts in US,
we got magazine articles in US. We got so much

(01:09:54):
in us that need to come out so that it
can impact the world. Y'all, there is a world of
people hurting them that are looking for directions, that are
looking for a way out. And God has equipped some
of us to be that beacon of light for others.

Speaker 2 (01:10:15):
But yet some of us sit and we're not being obedient.

Speaker 1 (01:10:18):
To that that He has called us to. Some of
us here they're hearing it and ignoring it. But it
ain't going nowhere. It ain't going nowhere. So if you
keep coming to process this platform and you keep hearing
the same thing, just humble yourself. Just humble yourself and say, Lord,

(01:10:40):
show me the way. You know, I had to move
out my way and I just had to say, Lord,
I just use me. I am willing and just use me.
You just got to be willing to work unto the
Lord and not unto people, because when you work unto people,
people have expectations, and you can't have expectations when you're

(01:11:00):
dealing with people because we are all different. So when
you work unto the Lord, your expectation is that God is.

Speaker 2 (01:11:08):
Gonna do for you what you do for others. I
believe it.

Speaker 1 (01:11:12):
When when my apostle, doctor Kimberlee Thomas say it, I
believe it, and she said it so much to y'all.
I share it everywhere I go because I believe that thing,
and I believe that what you do for others, God
will do for you. So trust him on today, whatever

(01:11:32):
you're standing in need of on today, trust him and
believe that he's yet working on your behalf, that he's
already worked it out. So whatever it is that you
need to walk into that you need to do, because y'all,
we have to do the work. We can't just expect
things to happen. So I challenge you, get involved. Get involved,

(01:11:54):
Get involved. You have an opportunity to allow your brand
to speak, to allow your brand to be heard, to
allow your brand to be seen.

Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
Do it.

Speaker 1 (01:12:05):
You can do it through the one hundred Author Movement.
You can do it through the twenty one Day Challenge.
If you just want to get a feel of who
we are and what we do over on the various
platforms attached to the Queen of Collaboration, this is your
opportunity to connect, get involved, and allow God.

Speaker 2 (01:12:27):
To do what he said he would do. In your life,
move about your way.

Speaker 1 (01:12:30):
And let him be y'all. I think my time here
is almost up. I'm gonna hang around a few more
minutes because I'm trying to do this challenge. I'm trying
to be obedient. I'm trying to partake in this challenge
over here on TikTok and trying to really see how
this works. Not just on TikTok, but y'all, I really

(01:12:51):
want to engage and to really get our community involved
and see how we can get some more other community's involved.
If you are an urban lit author, street lit author,
real life story author, or if you have a topic
that cannot be talked about nor doing normal so called

(01:13:12):
when our babies are up, but you want to say,
you got a topic on incests or essays or domestic
violence or things of that nature that may not can
be talked about during prime time while the kids are up. Y'all,
I am launching a podcast called The Real in Raw
Author Slunge starting July seventh. July seventh is going to

(01:13:34):
be our first day that we air online. It's a
safe place for those that have those type of topics.
If you have a memoir or you have something that
may not be appropriate for those babies, and the hours
when those babies are up, that ten o'clock hour on Mondays,
it's gonna be that time where you can come through.

(01:13:57):
You can share those those topics that may be set,
those topics that you know may raise some controversy or
may raise some eyebrows, but you want to share them.
We want you to be able to share it in
a safe place. So we have established a real en
raw author slounge for those urban lit, those street lit,

(01:14:18):
those real life stories, those stories on essays, the d M,
the domestic violence incences, those things like that. We want
to provide a space for you. So start in July seventh,
ten pm Eastern Standard time, we're gonna be going live
on the Crew podcast and it's gonna be a our

(01:14:40):
show where we're gonna be sharing maybe whatever the topic
is for that day, what's hot in the news. May
have an author interview, may have a panel discussion, however
we're led that week, that's what we're gonna do. We're
opening it up because we want to be able to
provide an outlet for discussion. Y'ad, it's time to be

(01:15:02):
able to discuss some of these things. That people have
been brushing under the rug, people have been putting aside,
and they've not been undressing them.

Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
Y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:15:11):
When you don't address stuff, when you brush it under
the rug, guess what that rug. That rug begins to
build up and that rug becomes a mountain. So now
it's time to uncover that rug and deal with some
of those things that's under that rug. Get that rug
cleaned up so it can be flat again and people
won't be tripping because when the rugs start rising up,

(01:15:33):
people don't trip over. So let's get some things in
order again. Get attached to the one hundred. Get attached
to the one hundred after movement. If you are an
author or creative, someone that is looking to connect, collaborate,
curl and community at cakes, so we have connect, collaborate, create.

Speaker 2 (01:15:55):
And community t Bill.

Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
