In this dynamic and ever-changing world, the power of influence has become a key element to the success of many women. In the past decade, there have been countless examples of high-profile female leaders who have utilized their influence to create meaningful change in different areas, from politics to business operations.
On this episode I sit down with CEO of Christ Haven for Children, Cassie McQuitty. We discuss how influential women can make strides within their career but, also in their personal lives. From being influential in your existing network and community to surrounding yourself with influence that makes an impact in your life and how you show up.
There are limitless opportunities present for ambitious female professionals today, you are bound to walk away feeling empowered and ready to create influence with an impact!
Cassie McQuitty organized her first fundraiser at 10 years old and even at that young age, she knew something special about giving back and working on behalf of others. Her philosophy has been that it's not just about giving. It is about finding what drives you, what drives others, and what makes change happen that inspires others to want to invest in an organization alongside you.
Cassie is the first female CEO of Christ's Haven For Children, which is a nonprofit organization in the Keller/North Fort Worth area providing a trauma-informed, family model of care for displaced youth. Under Cassie’s leadership, the organization has seen significant programmatic and revenue growth. Cassie was instrumental in building consensus and laser focus around the organizational Core Values of Normalcy, Dignity, and Hope. She also led the vision-casting and strategy behind the organization’s newest program, Family Resource Center, which extends support for families in need in our community.
As a professional fundraiser and nonprofit executive, Cassie has exceeded annual revenue goals of more than $30 million. Her experience includes work at United Way, MGale & Associates, and the East Texas Crisis Center. She is a University of Texas at Tyler graduate and recipient of the prestigious Fort Worth 40-Under-40 Award, Leading Women award recipient, and has led Christ’s Haven to be awarded Best Place for Working Parents for three consecutive years.
Cassie balances the professional demands of leading an organization while also the demands of marriage and motherhood. Her volunteer work & hobbies include serving as a board member for the Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce and Teen Life and shuttling daughters to dance practices and cheer competitions. Plus, she is always working toward her lifelong goal of creating the best-ever charcuterie board.
