I am a proud Titi to this amazing woman that has grown up with alot of changes and shifts in her life but, handled it with grace and dedication to her education. She is the first in our family to go to College. Her conviction and love for people is evident in everything she does, especially with children.
We talk about her chaotic moments battling mental health and the lost of a friend to suicide. The struggles many young adults face paired with the most memorable and exciting moments of their life. She is living it and has still so much more to accomplish.

Marissa Stone is a true inspiration! She balanced intense schooling, with 8 years of dedicated teaching experience, and still found time to follow her passions and hobbies.
Marissa graduated from Iona college with a master’s degree in childhood education and has been working with children ever since. She specialize in working with children in special education while navigating the many dynamics to that role.
In her free time, she enjoys attending concerts, sports events, and socializing with her friends; a very impressive balance for any young adult. Furthermore, in spite of the fact that she balances a lot on her plate, Marissa Stone is also an advocate for mental health awareness. She is always working towards ending the stigma surrounding mental health while also courageously navigating through her own journey.
Her individual story serves as motivation to those around her from younger generation and beyond - By focusing on achievements rather than barriers or problems - she inspires others to overcome challenges while making yourself a priority.
