March fifth, the World Baseball Classic begins. It's right around

off the list. I have a gut feeling Alonzo and
Diaz will both be gone. I don't think that that's

that very hard to believe. I really really do. I

It's a game. You'll watch it and you see some
X major leaguers down there for the name. It's just
fun baseball to watch it. Not saying you're scouting for
the names, but every now and then peak through it,
follow it, see who the big names are. Watch those games.
I I know the Japanese League is hard to watch

for the camera angles some of the older tapes I've watched. Uh,
the Australia League. I've seen better stadiums here in Tumball
than some of those places play at. But it's baseball.
If you love baseball, you'll find out and watch it.
Australia League starts this week. Who Bison great game I saw,

I get. I was not there. I watched on TV,
but they went to Grand Forks and one last play
the game, Bison aircepthing in the end zone to seal
the win. Come from behind victory. Just beautiful all around,
and that makes them the Missouri Valley Football Conference champions.
At ten and zero. They're one of two teams to
be locked into the playoffs already for that.

Their schedule that got Northern Iowa come up this weekend
at the Northern or at home and end up season
against Saint Thomas, So that's kind of interesting in the

And uh the Beaves they lost. The lose was just
toying with them. I think they could play being by

said that, with the studies we had the time, yes,
it's it kind of goes back to the how dare

and okay, you know what he said, concussions aren't that bad.
We didn't know what concussions long term cases were so well,

the Arizona Fall League, this is the basically it's a

whole league of futures guys, is really what it is.
So I play in Arizona, down there, Phoenix and Scottsdale,
good stuff. They do have playoffs and whatnot. It really
doesn't really mean much, but it's good to see these
games in the stats and how these players are doing.
The Prep Bowl I'm going to do is is focus

on Saturday going to that Chan Hassen versus Elk River game.
That's a Class five A state semifinal. And the reason
I think this is going to be interesting is it's
an exact rematch of last year's Class five A state
semi final. Elk River won by two points over Chan

sent him home. Now they have a rematch. Elk River
went on to win it last year, so that the
defending champ. This is going to be a very good
interesting game to.

All they do is pound the ball and run it.
If they pass, it's a couple times a game, but
it's basically running the ball down your throat and how
do you defend that?

The clock is running. I think it gives the opposing
teams less, you know less series with the ball, and

that matchup there. And then on the other side, it's
Sat Thomas Academy is going to be playing spring Lake Park,
and Springlake Park beat Alexandria, one of the top teams.

I think they were the number one ranked team in
that class and upset them in overtime and beat them,
so Alexandre's out. Springlake Park is now like the Cinderella
team and then that Saint Thomas Academy team is the
only team to beat Chan Hassen this year. Chan Hassen
would have been undefeated except for this game they went
to Saint Thomas Academy. There was lightning, there was weather

and storms that game, Saint Thomas Academy built a two
touchdown lead. Chan Hassen came back and scored, you know,
to make it close, and lightning was called in the
game ended. They never finished the game. Yep, that's that
game where lightning called the end to it. Chan fans
were not happy. Saint Thomas loved it. But there's a

chance there could be a Saint Thomas Final against Chan.
There could be uh elk River winning back to back.
There could be spring Lake Park coming out of nowhere.
But my focus this weekend will be in the five A.
It's gonna be some very good football there to uh
to see on and we'll be posting pictures and Twitter
updates on Saturday. And then the following week is their

Prop Bowl Championship games.

And it's not Thanksgiving weekend either.

Yes and so and maybe they did this last year too.

Vikings were playing on Thanksgiving.

Yes I think they did, and Vikings were at home,
so they had to shift things.

But this is going to be I don't know, maybe
because a travel and early I think it was.

There was a multitude a couple things. I think Thanks
Forgiving fell so late last year. The Vikings were in town,
they were playing at home. They had to fit all
this in. So what it comes down to is this
weekend semi finals, next weekend the finals, and after that
we'll have six champions crowned in Minnesota state prep football
out of three hundred and forty nine varsity programs in

the state of Minnesota start in August. For football at
varsity level, three hundred and forty nine statewide, comes down
to six champions next weekend, so that's what we'll be
looking for here as well.

We'll go at the Viking schedule right now. November twenty
third they're at Green Bay and November thirties they're at Seattle,
so they were gone. So it's not that it's not
the Vikings needs stadium, So maybe just because its calendar schedule,

That's a Class five A state semifinal. And the reason
I think this is going to be interesting is it's
an exact rematch of last year's Class five A state
semi final. Elk River won by two points over Chan

went on to win it last year, so that the
defending champ. This is going to be a very good
interesting game to.

that class and upset them in overtime and beat them,
so Alexandre's out. Springlake Park is now like the Cinderella
team and then that Saint Thomas Academy team is the
only team to beat Chan Hassen this year. Chan Hassen
would have been undefeated except for this game they went
to Saint Thomas Academy. There was lightning, there was weather

and storms that game, Saint Thomas Academy built a two

Forgiving fell so late last year. The Vikings were in town,
they were playing at home. They had to fit all
this in. So what it comes down to is this
weekend semi finals, next weekend the finals, and after that
we'll have six champions crowned in Minnesota state prep football
out of three hundred and forty nine varsity programs in

the state of Minnesota start in August. For football at
varsity level, three hundred and forty nine statewide, comes down
to six champions next weekend, so that's what we'll be
looking for here as well.

We'll go at the Viking schedule right now. November twenty
third they're at Green Bay and November thirties they're at Seattle,
so they were gone. So it's not that it's not
the Vikings needs stadium, So maybe just because its calendar schedule,
the ended up earlier and get it done with.

He went on and played a couple of years with
the Royals there at the end, but he did. He
was let go in the offseason following this nineteen seventy
five season. They cut him loose and then he decided
to retire. But twenty two years.

I want to know if if that was in today's world.

come back and signed the one day contract that s
were in training to retire as a twin you know
they was signing for one day. Just hear hey, ha ha,

they could have signed them for a day, could retire
