Is now time for Minnesota Golden Gophers After Dark with
the Minnesota Sports Governor Vince Right. What's going on everybody?

is this Minnesota Gopher team been? Minnesota goes to five

and two with a twenty four to six win over
the twenty fifth rank Nebraska Cornhuskers. Nebraska, obviously they were
feeling their oats coming in. They're finally ranked again. Everything
kind of going the you know, the proper way for
their program, except they ran into the Minnesota Golden Gophers,
who played their best game of the year. The defense.

Let's start with the defense. The defense showed up big
time program record nine Am I seeing this correct? Nine
sacks last night? Carter Men's had two and a half,
Anthony Smith had two and a half. Devon Eastern got
in on one, Jackson Howard had two sacks. Matt Kingsbury.

I want to make sure I'm getting everybody. If I
miss somebody, my bad. But this sco for team showed up,
showed out, and they totally outside of a few good plays.
The Patrick Mahomes want to be Dylan Ryola who had
one hundred and seventy seven yards, going seventeen for twenty five,

but no touchdowns for him, and that was huge in Minnesota.
Drake Lindsay, Man, I'm telling you a kid can play
some football and didn't have to do as much. He
had that one beautiful pass to Rockington for the touchdown,
but he went sixteen for twenty just one hundred and
fifty three yards. But when you got the return of

Darius Taylor, who went for one hundred and forty eight
on the ground, obviously seventy one on the big scamper there.
He carried the ball twenty four times. And I got
to tell you, man, Gophers with their most complete game
obviously and given everybody hope as they go down the
Iowa next week. And I don't know what PJ did,

I don't know what practice looked like this week, but
let's keep that going because now there's hope against Isowa
where people, you know, coming out of that Purdue game,
you know it was a complete one eighty and I
think that's also you know, with the storming of the
field last night, I know that's been a big thing.
You know, I kind of have gone both ways on it.

(02:35):
I still don't think it was, you know, totally necessary,
but hey, whatever, you know, do what you gotta do,
I guess, but I was very impressed again, complete game
from the Gophers coaching staff did a really phenomenal job
and really just took the soul out of Matt Rules
team the Nebraska Cornhuskers, because after a while they it

almost just seemed like if they were playing, let's just
get this game over with. Let's get back down the
Lincoln and start it over next week. So mad props
to the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Big ten tightening up here
in the Gophers now because they're coming on a fun
stretch of games that includes a trip out to Oregon.
But next week, Floyda Rosedale, that trophy has not been

here for a while. It's been very sporadically here, and
it wouldn't have been here a couple of years ago
if they knew how to make a fair catch signal.
But next week, Kennick a big wave to all the
wonderful kids and families over at the hospital there. But

it's time to battle for Floyd of Rosedale. This team
shows up. We got a game, and I mean Iowa.
There's gonna be Iowa. They're you know, they're gonna scratch
app claw and just find a way to do it.
It may not be pretty, probably won't be. But can
the Gophers get down there and get in the trenches

and repeat what they did yesterday? The Gopher team that
played last night makes it, makes it a game now,
so very interested. Obviously everybody's gonna be watching that game
next week. Bring home the bacon, bring home Floyd to Rosedale.
