Speaker 7 (05:24):
Bison one from their forty the Long chapter Steindorf. He
gets it away, booming it over. Everybody clock is running.
It goes down inside the twenty five, rolls inside the
twenty to chuck ad One buys.
Speaker 13 (05:35):
It after it at DSU rushing out of the field,
the dynasty has cut back to reclaim it's rightfull thrown
buys it thirty five, Bontenna State thirty two, and for
the tenth time, at fourteen years, North Dakota State has
(05:57):
won the FCS National champampion him The Bison rush over
to the stage and the north end zone, the fans
flooding onto the field.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
The game is over, but the run is not.
Speaker 13 (06:14):
Ten national championships in fourteen seasons, North Dakota State back
on top of the FCS college football world.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
How about that? How about that Bison Nation back on top.
They got it done, and they got one for the thumb,
the tenth FCS National championship for NDSU. And as Sam
Niederman said, right there, the dynasty reclaims it's rightful thrown.
(06:46):
I'm here to tell everyone that dynasty it ain't dead
yet and it has just gotten some new life. Thirty five,
thirty two, The Bison over the Bobcats. Today they take
down Montana State, They take down the one seed and
ANDYSU back under the confetti, back on that podium. Tim
Poulasek claiming his first national title as the head coach
(07:09):
of the Herd, cam Miller going out on top as
the most outstanding player. He gets not one but two
trophies today after being snubbed down one a couple of
days ago. And it is all green and gold to
start off twenty twenty five. Hello, and welcome in to
Binson Hotline, brought to you by Bobcat. As always, we're
(07:30):
here with you live from inside of Toyota Stadium, and
we are gonna party with you for the next couple
of hours. Myself and Jake Caava here and it is
a raucous feeling down on that field still right now,
they are still emptying out and I got a feel
and the party is gonna go deep into this Texas night.
Speaker 14 (07:47):
Jake, Yeah, I mean, just what a game. Hats off
to Montage hit they came after the first half. I
was like, oh, this might be a repeat of twenty
twenty one. But you know, time a lot is he's
a really good football player, and they came out. But
just extremely happy for the guys and just to sit
and think that, you know, ten national championships in the
last fourteen years, it's just it's unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
Yeah, it's unreal. You can't tell me, no dynasty is dead.
Ten and fourteen. This thing is still clicking along, just fine.
They take down Montana State, the first upset of these
playoffs as well. All top eight seeds go on, all
top four seeds go on, then the top two seeds
go on to the championship, and then two takes down one.
And in a season where Montana State never even trailed
(08:26):
for a single second against an FCS team, never trailed
for a single second since Week zero, and never trailed
for a second against anyone that was an FCS opponent
all year, tonight, they never led, They never had the
lead for even a single second. NDSU scores on the
opening drive. They go upset, but nothing. They held onto
the lead the rest of the way to claim title
(08:50):
number ten and also to finish on top here at
Toyota Stadium and what could be the last one here. Ever,
that's a special feeling.
Speaker 14 (09:00):
It's the way it should be too, just the dominance
and issu's had here obviously winning all these national championships
to go out as the potentially last team never played Frisco.
Speaker 15 (09:09):
I think it makes sense.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
Yeah, it really does. Call us up today. We want
to hear from you out there in Bison Nation. If
you're here in Frisco listening, if you're sitting at Twin
Peaks and McKinney listening to us as well, if you're
out in Forgo, if you're anywhere across this great country,
call on into the program. We've got you covered seven
to zero one four seven six, sixteen sixty. You can
also text that very same number, or you can email
(09:31):
into the program studio at Bison sixteen sixty dot com.
We appreciate our listeners on Bison sixteen sixty and one
oh seven point nine The Fox Tonight. We are here
to let you sound off. How are you feeling now?
NDSU has finally done it. They have finally gotten back
on top of the FCS Mountain after a couple of
year hiatus, and they have gotten title number ten. Want
(09:53):
to hear from you, guys. We also have a post
up on our Facebook page on Bison sixteen sixty. Feel
free to comment there. We'll get to as many of
those as we can here over the next couple of hours.
We already have the phone lines lighting up, so everyone's
calling in they want to talk about this one. We've
got to go to our first caller, a very special caller,
someone that calls in all the time, special guest on
the program, none other than the one and only Chris Hansen,
(10:17):
calling into the program here on Bison Hotline. We were
texting back and forth throughout the game. Chris, I know
you were watching this one intently. What are your thoughts?
We got another one, my friend, Yeah, you know.
Speaker 16 (10:30):
Hat sauce to the Ndiasu Buisen what a just an
outstanding played game defensively, offensively. One of the hardest things
you can do in the sport of football or any
sport is to take back momentum, and Ndiasu did it
at least three different times in the second half where
the momentum was all going one direction and they were
(10:52):
only able to put their foot in the ground, stop
the rock from going down the hill and push it
right back up. And unbelievable win from India to you
and I think the Bobcats and coach Began will be wondering,
what if they decide to punt before the end of
the first half with fifty five seconds left, they give
the ball back to NDSU at midfield, and that ended
(11:14):
up being the touchdown that was scored that made all
the difference. Now and DCWO could have went, you know,
if they punted down inside the ten, who knows what happens,
But that will be a play that the Bobcats will
be second guessing for a long time.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
Yeah, that's one of them. And I also think on
the very flip side of that argument, Tim paulis I
kind of a similar, you know, decision to make what
was it, late third quarter or early fourth I think
it was a fourth and one or fourth in inches
down in their own own territory, like on the thirty
five or forty yard line, and decided, you know what,
we're gonna punt it. We're only leading by I think
(11:47):
three at the time. You know, that was after Montana
State had scored a touchdown to make it a three
point game. They had the two point conversion and DSU
gets the ball back get a first down, but then
three plays you don't quite get the first fourth and inches,
decided to punt it and.
Speaker 14 (12:02):
Didn't take the risk, and defense got to stop and
and like what Chris was saying. You know, we talked
about if the Chaka Rokes gets that sack and gets
Tommy down and they're in fourth and fifteen, they for
sure punt that, right, so does the Chaka Rokes not
getting that sack. Tommy stumbles for it for about five yards,
then they go for it. Obviously don't get it. We
go and score. Maybe the Shaker Rokes not getting that
sack was maybe he was playing he was playing chess,
(12:23):
we were playing checkers. He's like, well, if I get
this sack, gonna they're gonna have to punt for sure.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
But I want a shorter field for our offense. You know,
all of those things played into it today. Chris, You've
been at a lot of games. You've been at games here,
you're down in Frisco. You've seen this team on top
of the mountain. They usually say it's hard to win
and get to the top. It's harder to stay on top.
I think it's even harder than that to get back
on top after you've been knocked off to get back
on top. What's that say about this program you've been
(12:48):
following for so many years?
Speaker 16 (12:50):
Yeah, today I got to experience something that I hadn't
experienced he had in this run, was to be in
Fargo for the playing of the game. I was at
the first eight champions, then watched a couple from Las
Vegas and got to be an Applebe's tonight for the
awesome watch party. The place was act. Jenny the server
was wondering about you two, if they need to get
us anymore beers or Vodkatonics or anything, and said, we're
(13:14):
all good.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
But so that was just all the super hot What
was it volcano buffalo that you keep ordering.
Speaker 16 (13:21):
On those buffalo exactly. So it was fun to be
a part of that tonight and to see Bison fans
and how passionate they were, and before the game started,
the chance of Let's go Bison ringing out throughout Applebee's.
So that was really cool to experience tonight and then
get to come home and share it with my family
and watch here on the couch was a lot of
fun too. But you know, I'll kin in with this.
(13:41):
The thought is that NBSU over these past fourteen years
has kind of been like a really good four to
one k. You know, every once in a while you're
gonna have dips. You're gonna have players that leave, you're
gonna have coaches that leave, and you maybe thinking, oh,
this is when it's gonna dip. But if you stick
with it in the long run, you do it the
right way, you don't panic. You just keep doing it
the way you know you should, things are going to
(14:03):
pay off. In Indias. You tonight cashed out a very
nice win against a very very good Bobcat football team.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
You're absolutely right, there's good dips in the market. Every
time that it's dipped, you want to buy as much
dock at NDSU as you can. Maybe going into the
season would have been a perfect time to have done
that counted out a little bit. SDSU is better, new coach,
different players, not quite the same team. They prove once
again they're absolutely the same team. Back on top of
the FCS mountain. Here for the Bison, Chris, great work
(14:32):
working with you all year along. Always appreciate you joining
us on Buyson Hotline. Really love being there at Appleby
is wish we could be there. Happy to be here though,
and Frisco as well. Thanks for holding down the forest
back there and Fargo and getting new experience that side
of things with all of Bison nation back there and
the sub zero temperatures. We'll be coming back with another
trophy for that trophy case though.
Speaker 16 (14:51):
My friend, I love it. It's well worth the late night
So thanks to you too as well. Andy and Jake.
Great job on your first year. I hope we can
have you back first second year because there's a building
more to be talked over at Applebee's.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
Yeah, he might go into the transferport. We'll see what
happens here. Ever, there's other radio groups that are trying
to steal them away from us already. Chris Hansen there joining, Yeah,
Chris Hansen will cut the check for you. We'll get
we'll get some more money for you. There you go,
Chris Hansen joining us on Bison Hotline. We really appreciate
him each and every week on the show. The guy's
(15:25):
got some great insight and I still think back to
an absolutely love what he said after the semi final
game against sts Uh. He got a little emotional, like
I was in the stands with my son today and
getting to experience this with your kids as well, Like
this means something. And I think whether you were here,
whether you watched it at Twin Peaks and McKinney, whether
you watched it at Applebee's up in North Fargo, north
(15:45):
of the Fargo Dome, we're in your living room couch
in Fargo, we're Valley City or wherever wherever you watched it,
If you're watching it with friends and watching it with family,
this is a special moment. It's an experience. You're gonna
remember where you were when ENDYSU got back on top
of the FCS mountain top.
Speaker 14 (15:59):
I'm I'm just so excited for the guys and Coach
Paul Sick, and like you said, it's it takes a village,
the fans, the community, the administration, the players, the coaches.
This doesn't happen, the success, the continued success of this
program doesn't happen without every single one of those people.
So it doesn't matter if you're you know, a fan
and Valley City or Watford City, if you're coach Paul
Sick coach Climbing, like it takes everyone, and it's just unbelievable,
(16:21):
just the run that we've been on since you know,
back to the nineteen fifties.
Speaker 4 (16:25):
Again, phone lines are open for you seven zero one
four seven six sixteen sixty. You can also text that
same number. You can email studio at Bison sixteen sixty
dot com plenty more to get into only the first
segment right there for you on Bison Hotline. We will
cover this one from head to toe, start to finish
(16:45):
because it was a classic. It was a game worthy
of a championship and kind of the championship. We thought
we were going to get all along between these two
FCS Titans, But we'll break it down more when we
come back on the other side. Next. You're listening to
Bison Hotline after the Bison claim in their tenth national title.

It's a real thing, and we're back, baby, back to

happy for Tim Poulis had to come back to a

it in your number one.
Speaker 14 (23:31):
Yeah, like you said, how you know coach Paulise kind
of cut his teeth when he got into the coaching
you know profession. Here the story of him, you know,
Coach Bowl calls him up when he's a logger out
in Wisconsin. He I think he sold his golf clearers
golf clubs and got.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Just to get the interview, to get over here and
get the gas money, the.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
The floor of the Fargo don't have an apartment, sleep
on the floor here.
Speaker 14 (23:50):
Yeah, And for him to you know, come back full
circle obviously coach here, two different stat as of assistant
go off, kind of get that FBS, that bigger school,
you know your experience.
Speaker 4 (23:59):
Yeah, they come tosh at Iowa.
Speaker 14 (24:01):
Yeah, and then to come back and just do what
he's did in this first year as the head coach
of the North Coast State Bison is unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
Yeah, special moment for him. I'm sure special moment for
Cam too. He has that touchdown run right there of
sixty four yards, his longest run period in a game
since December third of twenty twenty two, when he had
a sixty eight yarder against Montana of all teams a
Montana state. But now he's dirt both schools in Montana
with big touchdown runs in the playoffs, and he has
the one here, a little QB draw third and four.
(24:30):
You're just looking for four yards and all of a
sudden you end up with sixty four of them in
a big touch and it puts you up by two
scores there in that first half.
Speaker 15 (24:36):
Yeah, I have no idea.
Speaker 4 (24:37):
What were they doing to break it down for you?
Speaker 15 (24:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (24:39):
You know, so we we're in we're in empty so
no one in the backfield Montana State and so at
any you see like when we go do an empty check,
you always they look like Montessa was in two high
man covers underneath the D line has to cut the
front like one D hand has to wrap around. Maybe
you drop a d N to spy all for the
D linemen from Montana State rushed high. I think Cam
dropped even if was a design run. I think he
(25:01):
just dropped back and he's like, there is like ESPN
just had it up there. There was no one within
like fifteen yards like I saw there, playing too high
and nobody was really in the middle. And then when
they all came after him, he's like, all I need
is four. Yeah, I'll settle for four and get a
first down. But I think coach Vegan said something in
this press converns about that had to be an ma
of some someone didn't get the call or didn't get
the check when they went empty, because I mean, if
(25:23):
you have no one in the middle of the field
is a lot for linebackers.
Speaker 15 (25:25):
Your safeties are playing too deep. I mean that's just
that's bad ball.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
Against a quarterback that can run, gets.
Speaker 14 (25:31):
A quarterack that can yah, that's bad football and obviously
can't make him pay.
Speaker 4 (25:34):
Yeah, made him pay in a big, big way. I
had said kind of all week. This is a Montana
State team that hadn't trailed against an FCS all year long.
How would they react to being down multiple scores? I
do think in the first half, you know, and HESU
scores right away, and then scores again after getting a stop,
and all of a sudden, you're up to scores very early.
I do think Montana State played tight. I think tell
(25:56):
him a lot, you know, showed a little bit of
nerves right there. Some of the throws that were high.
Think about that fourth down throw at the end of
the first half that was a high throw, could have
completed it. A few other plays where there was some
missed missed marks offensively and defensively. They played a little
bit tight and like a team they hadn't been there.
All the credit to them in the second half. They
came back, They fought, They made this thing a game.
They stole all the momentum multiple times in that second half,
(26:18):
and their crowd was electric tonight. They had seventy percent
of the crowd they did. Let's just call it what
it was. It was seventy thirty Bobcat fans, and it
was almost a home game like in Bozeman for him.
At certain points with the noise they were making, causing
some fall starts for the Bison offense, but NDSU kept
on fighting right back too. They made it a game,
but NDYSU never let them back in it. They never
(26:39):
led this game against NDSU. The Bison led them start
to finish.
Speaker 14 (26:42):
Yeah, like what Chris was saying, when that momentum was
kind of turning all them Ontenna state, we got to
stop when we needed it. We got a touchdown drive
like any who just kept answering the bell and kept responding.
Speaker 15 (26:52):
That's what a championship team. That's what they have to do.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
Yep, and that's why they are champions. Once again again,
call us up on the program today. We want to
hear from all well of you. We know works tomorrow,
So Colin, now it's not too late. Ten thirty five.
You got plenty of tend to get to bed for work.
Seven zero one four seven six sixteen sixty. That's the
number to call. Like Tay Deck the Polish Bison is doing.
He calls us up right now on the phone lines.
(27:14):
Polish Bison. What do you want to talk about you're
here with us on Bison hotline.
Speaker 25 (27:19):
Hey, gentlemen, Yeah, this was a fantastic college game, fun
to watch, what aspectivable teams. But I want to emphasize
a couple of things. First of all, I didn't expect
it seems to go to that part and be honest,
coach Kallason to get a lot of credit for billing
this team, getting the whole coaching staff and a lot
of coaches become you know, the offensive defensive coordinators. What
(27:42):
they've done is masterful. Especially I was really impressed how
they were tackling. I mean you were about one tackle
being broken and having long course that was unbelievable. I'm
running out of the pearl to score mister Miller because
of my view, I think he's tapped Bison. I mean
the way he played today was doing everything possible to
win this game. He was sacrificing you know, his buddy
(28:04):
diving low. I mean, throwing unbelievable passes. I mean this
is like NFL style passes and one player that I
think also.
Speaker 26 (28:13):
He brought to attentions to Brown. So he's coming the
injury and playing, especially the fourth quarter when the game
was in the ligne. He was just running so hard.
Now comes so st The line also did very good job.
So otherwise I'm I'm exciting.
Speaker 25 (28:27):
Congratulations for Lace and team. It was a great game,
and go buy.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
Yeah, go Bison and DA. You're absolutely right there, Tay
Deck and appreciate the phone call. Agains seven zero one
four seven six sixteen sixty. The number of the dial
us up on. I know we got a few more
people calling in right now. He's right, Tim paulsk takes
this job over, you know, a little over a year ago.
You know, what is it? A year and basically another
couple of weeks right now is when he took this
(28:54):
this program over, and we're all not that we were
worried or anything. You know, we were going to see
how was this gonna you know, the thing gonna work?
Because Tim Paul's ex abuising guy. He's coming back to NDSU,
haven't won a title in a couple of years. What
can he do to get more out of this current
group because you don't have a lot of changes you're making.
You're really just trying to hold on to guys. That's
the biggest thing he did, and the coaching staff did
(29:15):
was hold on to the guys that are here for
the vast majority, right, and you lost maybe one or
two guys, but he held on to the majority of guys.
He held on to Cam Miller, He held on the
guys like the most Arts and Dylan Hendrix and Gray
is Abel and all of those guys that played a
huge role in this entire season. Did that, but then
found a way to get more out of this group too,
to find a way to dig deep, dig in a
(29:36):
little bit more, dig your heels in, and really all
season long, you know, win games, establish yourself as another
dominant team, get a top two seed, get home field advantage,
and get here. Just do whatever you can do to
get here, and then you can win one game against anybody.
Speaker 15 (29:48):
Yeah, absolutely, and.
Speaker 14 (29:49):
Just I think coach Politics said it and is when
he was on the stage talk with the was that
Lord Rutledge ESPN.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
No, I'll look up at the side with the sideliner
reporter and.
Speaker 14 (30:00):
Like, obviously the coaches came into a great job, but
that senior class to stick together, trust in coach Pauli
Sak and the staff that he put together. I mean,
it would have been really easy when coach ense left
and you know, Coach Roll, we knew he wasn't gonna
be the head coach for those guys to just say, hey,
I'm I don't know what's going on.
Speaker 15 (30:16):
You bring in coach Paulisick. Obviously he was here, but
he was here before any of us.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
For three or four years here. I've done my part.
Speaker 14 (30:22):
Yeah, it had been really easy and you couldn't have
been mad those guys that they said, hey, I want
to go to I will stay with the coach Roll.
I'm gonna go somewhere else. But hats off to that
senior class to stick together. We talked about Bison pride
like bys and pride is a legit. It's not tangible,
but it's a real thing. And yes, so shout out
to those seniors, seniors. Cam Miller the most starts telling
Hendrick Sam Young, those guys keeping everyone together and you know,
(30:45):
really trusting coach Paulisak and.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
The new staff, Stormy Boone and TONI was the sideline
point today for for ABC along with Dave Fleming and
Brock Osweiler call in the game. Brock Osweller in mont
tent Montana native. Yeah, so fun for him, I'm sure
to be on the call of this one, but to
get the most start of this team, Tim Pauls that
deserves a lot of credit for that one. I'm excited
for the future.
Speaker 23 (31:04):
Man.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
This guy bleeds green and goal. I no, he's celebrating
right now. I am so happy for him. It's gonna
be an awesome time this next WEEKID maybe getting him
on the radio a little bit and getting to pick
his brain about what he is feeling, the emotions he
is feeling right now, and well he was feeling throughout
this game because there were some ups and downs, there
were some roller coasters, some fight back from Montana State
(31:24):
as well. You knew there would be and end up
being a heck of a football game, one worthy of
a national championship. And that's what that's where you wanted, right.
Would it have been great if it was at the
half when it was twenty one to three, if Montana
State comes out, goes three and out, we get the ball,
go down score it's twenty eight three and it's a blowout. Yeah,
we would have been fine. Right, But you like, that's
a good game. I think this is a day the
(31:46):
FCS stood alone tonight. There was nothing else there is
no other football, NFL, college or what else going on
in America. One game and it was on ABC Monday
Night football and under the Lights is a standalone opportunity.
I'm happy the nation got to see a really good
game with two really well coached football team.
Speaker 14 (32:04):
Absolutely I thought I saw JJ Watt tweeted out to
I think it was during the game. He said, you know,
if you're a football fan, like turn on ESPN, ABC
right now North Grost State, Montana State, like this is
this is high high level football. Both these teams. There's
a lot of Power five teams that NDSCUO Montesa State
would be, would be handedly obviously you don't know there's
the top.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
But this is good football right here and what I think.
So it's interesting because he's not the only one JJ Watt.
A lot of guys tweeted that out. You know, even
when yus she was playing Colorado earlier, she like, watched
this team, this team plays football. I just love when
I see that from anybody like a JJ Watt, who
he tweets that out and says, I watched If you
like football, watch this. If you like football played the
way it's intended, watch it. And this isn't meant to
(32:45):
be a shot at the FBS. But with the way
our world is right now of name, image and likeness,
transfer portal, you know, money is the ruiner of all things.
It is the root of all evil. I will always
believe that, not that everything is wrong, and not that
student athletes shouldn't be getting paid. I think it's good
that they're able to capitalize on their name, image and
(33:06):
likeness and everything, but it's kind of taken away from
the purity of the sport. And I don't mean that
from an aspect of student athletes and being aest to it.
I just mean, like what God intended it to be,
Like what football is meant to be when you're playing
it with your buddies at seven, eight nine years old
in the backyard and you're playing at night and that
(33:26):
the porch light's on and you're just playing with your
pros like we all have been there, right, That's what
it feels like when you get teams like this on
this stage, on this field. It doesn't quite feel like
that at the FBS level right now, with all the movement,
with the way teams are moving around, realignment is happening,
it feels a little bit a little a little gross,
(33:47):
and frankly, it feels a little bit kind of like
the NBA where it's just one on one basketball. It
feels that way at the FBS a little bit, which
just throw it up to our guy one on one.
We'll just play it that way. Where the FCS, I
do feel like it's real football. And I think that's
what's getting translated from people like JJ when they tweet.
Speaker 14 (34:01):
It and it's awesome, like when you're watching the FBS
and it's like, oh, so and so this guy was
he was at Alabama last year and now he was
at Texas and the Texas guy was a dB at
Notre Dame and now he's like they're just all over
the place.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
The quarterbacks on his fifth school in five years.
Speaker 15 (34:13):
Exactly. Yeah, And you play watch this game like time
a lot.
Speaker 14 (34:16):
All the seniors, Brodie Greevy from Montesa State, those guys
they went to the program, they got developed by the
strength condition. Like to your point, that's cool, that's the brother,
that's Bizen Prior, that's I'm sure Montana trait has some
of their sayings and stuff.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
But and that's why you get to have player, you know,
former player practices and people come back and you're gonna
be buddies with Like you said, you're in weddings this summer, right,
And it just doesn't happen if you're going one school
one year, the next year, I'm here, the next year,
I'm here over It just you don't create those same relationships.
And I think this senior class staying together. A big
reason why is the Former Player Association. And people are saying, hey,
(34:52):
stick it out. What's the phrase that's you know in
the locker rooms and in the training rooms and all
over the place, those who stay will be champions. And
today it was proof those who stayed became champions tonight.
And maybe there was a couple of dark moments where
you thought, maybe I won't Maybe if I stay here,
I'm not going to be well, you didn't think about that.
You put your head down. Kramer got you in the
(35:12):
weight room, Paul said, came in here, Jake Landry came
in here, Grant Olsen got a DC spot and uh,
your champions. And that's a pretty awesome feeling. I'm sure.
I'm sure for a lot of guys out there, we
do have a couple more people calling in. How about
Milt in Atlanta giving us a call on the phone lines. Milt,
you're here with us buys a hotline. How you're feeling good?
Speaker 27 (35:32):
Yeah, I live in a couple of different cities, but
today I was in Burnsville and I was watching it
with a bunch of the teammakers and uh, you know,
former players.
Speaker 4 (35:43):
And fives Roadhouse by Chance Milk. That's where I watched
it with my parents tonight. Oh my gosh, it's rantat Yeah.
Speaker 27 (35:54):
I just wanted to say that the grass was not
a problem, the cold was not a problem, and and
I just another thing that I wanted to give an
observation on was a few years ago I sat by
some guys. They were just lasting cam and you know,
I just said, hey, come on, I'm an old veteran.
So they weren't going to pound me, but I just said,
(36:16):
this guy's a leader and he is going to take
us there. And I wish I'd run into those guys,
but they just weren't buying it from me. Another thing
that I wanted to say was one time I sat
by Tim Poulisak at a basketball game, and when he
was leaving, I just looked him in the eye and
I said, you know what, you're going to be back,
(36:36):
and he goes, I think you're right, And it was
just the funniest moment because you know, who would ever thought,
and it's just this is unbelievable and you should have
seen Clives tonight in there. It was just like unreal.
Speaker 4 (36:51):
So yeah, it looked like a pretty good scene. I
got some videos from out there as well. Milt, thanks
for the call. Appreciate you checking in with us all
year long. Here on buys a hotline, Yet Clives Roadhouse
other places across the country that are Byson watch parties,
and that goes back to what Chris Hansen said he
was watching it. Applebee's our typical spot for hotline throughout
the year. We love the folks there at Applebee's, and
that's a watch party. You know, thousands of people pour
(37:12):
in to Toyota Stadium. But that speaks to how I
think Tim Paulseck is reunited and reignited the fan base
a little bit, that like I could watch it at home,
let's go somewhere and celebrate this with Bison fans. Even
if we can't go to Frisco. Not everybody can. We
totally get that it does cost a lot of money
and all that kind of stuff, but it's a cool experience.
I would encourage everyone to try and get to Nashville
(37:33):
next year if you got the chance to experience it
with Bison fans is pretty special. And there's those watch
parties all across the country that goes to speak of
Bison Nation. Just being short shore.
Speaker 15 (37:43):
Man, Yeah, no, it's we love it as players.
Speaker 14 (37:45):
As a former player now, like just walk around Frisco,
walk around Fargoing is just the little conversations that you have,
like oh, someone will recognize and just sit and talk
with them for a little bit.
Speaker 15 (37:54):
And that's what makes this place so special. Like you said,
just the relationships.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
Yeah, we had to And to Milton point as well
about Cam. We have to tell players sometimes to be patient.
Right your state, you will be a champion. You got
to tell fans too as well, we can get spoiled.
Nights like this are easy to get spoiled by when
you've won your tenth in fourteen years. And there was
moments Cam was young. Cam was thrown into the fire
without really much you know, you know, flame retarding to gear. Right,
(38:18):
he was thrown in as a freshman. He was thrown
in during COVID, he was benched the next year, lost
it to Quincy Patterson, stuck around the program and many
others wouldn't have and stayed with it, ended up starting again,
leads it to a national title. And now I loved
his words on stage because it kind of speaks to
you know. He even said the words of you want
to leave a place better than you found it, and
I found this place with a national title. I'm leaving
(38:41):
it with a national title. And that got a pretty
awesome roar from the crowd and from his teammates. That
was a, I think, a very special measures from the
senior quarterback. And I'm sure something he you know, it
means a lot to a lot of people. I think
it means a lot to him to be able to
leave this place back on top where he found it.
Speaker 14 (38:55):
Absolutely, And that's I mean when you say, like you
want to leave a place better than you found it,
and you see that's really hard to do because I
mean when we came into this place, I think.
Speaker 4 (39:05):
It's a million dollar mansion with five star amenities.
Speaker 15 (39:07):
Exactly, So just keep it going the same way.
Speaker 14 (39:09):
And like he said, you know, he came here and
got one, and then now he's leaving with one, so
hot's off to cam. He was an unbelievable friend, unbelievable teammate,
obviously unbelievable quarterback, and I think he's just find not
one in the Walter Payton. Now we got the championshipper
ring and then the most outstanding players.
Speaker 4 (39:23):
Yeah, I think he'll take those three for the Walter
Payton in the Day of the week. That's a pretty
special moment. Indeed, we gotta take another break. We've been
a little lengthy in these first few segments. Want to

thirty two over the Bobcats and claim their tenth FCS
National championship, eighteen of them overall. Andy Rikoff and Jay
Kava back here with you from the conference room inside
Toyota Stadium, actually overlooking the field right now where the
(45:19):
Byeson won just a few moments ago. Boys had a
special feeling. What was it like to experience it, not
as a player for the first time. That clock runs
out and you see all your teammates run across the
field and then up the stairs. They didn't realize there
was a stair much closer to their sideline side. They
could have just ran straight up. They liked that one
on the east side of the of the stadium. Here
they get another national championship and get to experience it
(45:41):
that way.
Speaker 15 (45:42):
Yeah, it was super fun to watch and super happy
for the guys.
Speaker 14 (45:44):
Obviously, being a former player, you want to be out there,
you want to be playing the game, but football ends.
You don't play football for your entire life. But it's
just fun to see those guys and to be able
to experience them be on the sideline, kind of feel
like you're in the trenches a little bit with them,
so to say, and you know, talking to the Shaka
and win and kind of giving them some tips and
stuff that I was seeing throughout the game. But no,
just extremely happy for them, just the perseverance. Obviously their
(46:07):
season didn't end the way we wanted to last year
with Montana, but for those guys to come back and
buy into coach Paul second the coaches, and just just
extremely excited for them and just happy that, you know,
they get another ring.
Speaker 15 (46:18):
Now.
Speaker 4 (46:19):
I know you got a chance to see Dylan Hendricks
is a little bit on the stage afterwards. I saw
him as well, and congratulated him on being under the
national champion here. I know he didn't play in this game.
He's been out for a couple of months, and there's
probably a part of him that you don't play in it.
It's kind of a weird feeling. Obviously, you're happy for
your team, you're happy for yourself, you have for everything
this team accomplished, but not being able to play in
(46:40):
it kind of a weird feeling feel for him a
little bit in the situation. I'm also like extremely happy
for him, and I know he's happy to be another
national champion.
Speaker 15 (46:46):
Yeah. Absolutely.
Speaker 14 (46:47):
It's it's always tough when you're you know, one of
the one of the dudes, one all conference, all conference
level player, And I kind of had the same you know,
when you get hurt, there's a little bit like jealousy
you feel just because you want to be the one
out there making the plays ever.
Speaker 15 (47:00):
You want to be the one helping those guys out.
Speaker 14 (47:02):
But it is hard, and I know those guys they're
gonna have a good night tonight, him, Sam Young, Hunter Brosio,
some of those seniors that had their season end. But yeah, yeah,
but it's hard because you want you want to be
out there playing with your with your brothers. But at
the end of the day, it's a team sport and
the team got the w.
Speaker 4 (47:21):
They sure did, thirty five thirty two over Montana State.
The final score for you guys. In this one, we
play that Bryce Lance highlight because Bryce Lance is our
Dakota Refrigeration Cool Performer of the game, our final one
of the twenty twenty four season that leaked on into
twenty twenty five. How about Bryce Lance and again that
(47:42):
touchdown catch a huge moment in this game. Bryce ends
up with nine receptions one hundred and seven yards of
the one hundred and ninety nine receiving for Indias who
he had one o seven and a touchdown a long
of thirty eight in this game, which was a crazy awesome.
It's just another sick catch to add is reel, almost
becoming just like Mundane at this point. How we often
(48:04):
he is doing them, but the guy was electric once
again in this one. He is or Dakota Refrigeration Cool Performer.
Dakota Refrigeration now dri I. Dakota Refrigeration helps athletes succeed
from behind the scenes from the training room to the
dining room, milk to medicine, ice to ice cream. Dr
I has been servit Minnesota, Montana, and the Dakotas for
over forty years online at dak reff dot com. What
(48:26):
can you say about number five is play pretty special
performance on the biggest stage.
Speaker 15 (48:30):
Yeah, just unbelievable. Just he just keeps.
Speaker 14 (48:33):
Like you said, It's just it's almost mundane now. It's
just second nature that you know. Camuller throws the ball
up and whatever. However wherever the ball maybe it's right
in his bread basket. It's one head of catches, a
diving catch close to the end zone. He just makes
pig plays. And Fargo buis a nation. We got to
keep that young man in Fargo.
Speaker 15 (48:50):
Yeah, hit up.
Speaker 14 (48:52):
Jay Bartley helped the Green and Gold Collective because I
guarantee there's a lot of people watching this game, and
guys like Bryce Lance and Marty Brown. I'm sure a
couple interesting followers on Twitter x these days from some
college coaches around the country.
Speaker 4 (49:05):
I got to keep that guy here one hundred percent.
I'm right there with you. That guy is special and
his family has a lot of connections here to Dyusu
with Levis, with Trey too, so they've had a lot
of experiences on this field, and then we need to
have another one with them, hopefully next year. We do
have the phone lines open for you seven zero one
four seven six sixteen sixty Mark in America calling in
(49:26):
on those very same hot lines open for everyone here
on BIS A hotline. Mark. What do you have to
say about another championship here for dy USU. I know
you took it in in person.
Speaker 23 (49:36):
Yeah, guys, I'll tell you what this one. To borrow
a line from Bruce Almighty, this one was beat eat
A beautiful.
Speaker 15 (49:46):
It was.
Speaker 4 (49:47):
It was a beautiful performance. It's the way football was
intended to be played today.
Speaker 23 (49:51):
That's right, number ten, it's you know, I'm really proud
of the boys. I'm really proud of you know, Poulisek.
He was the right hire. He brought back a toughness
that we were missing the last couple of years. But Jake,
you mentioned something about you got to watch that a
(50:14):
natty from the stands. But I want to give a
shout out to the parents, Pat and Vicky Rock, the Kubits,
the I mean cam Miller's parents, all these other parents
that have done this for five or six years, have
absolutely done everything for their kids and their boys so
(50:37):
that they could walk out and finish their college career
as champions and whether they go on the NFL or
the UFL as CFL it I mean, you know, mister
Kubets crowd of my shoulder tonight in the parking lot
because it was you know, and you know what mister
(51:01):
Ching did that. Jeff Ching did that five years ago.
It was It's it's just one of those things. It's
until you until you understand it as a parent, It's
just one of those things you want your kid to
do better than you can ever do. And I'm so
proud of what the boys did today and Bison Nation
(51:25):
and Bison football team is back where it belongs. But
I want to give a shout out to the parents
because they deserve so much of what Bison Nation needs.
To give them as many commendations as possible.
Speaker 4 (51:41):
Exactly, absolutely, thank you, Mark, appreciate the call here on bisontline.
Although I can't believe you did. Mister Kope's dirty like that, Andy,
he cried to your shoulder. I'm just whatever, No, the
parents are great. This means a lot to them too.
I mean, you know what, the parents are as big
of a part of this whole entire things. As some
of the players and coaches are, they get invested, and
it's Bison family, we mean family, and it leaks into
the extended family.
Speaker 15 (52:02):
Yeah. No, that was an awesome call from Mart and
I'll echo that.
Speaker 14 (52:05):
Just the sacrifices obviously, my parents, the parents of all
all of us players, the sacrifices they make. And I
would even say once you get to college's a little
bit easier, but it starts all of us start playing football.
We started playing sports back when we were little, you know,
five six years old, playing in the front porch. And
just the sacrifices our parents made to get us to this,
to this level, to this institution at NB s U.
(52:26):
It's they're they're they're the eleites, the gear. Yeah, just
the sacrifices they make for all of us. Yeah, I
agree whole artly. Mark, you hit the nail on the head.
It's just we wouldn't be there without them. I mean
easy is that?
Speaker 4 (52:40):
Yeah, And it's it's really cool when you see parents
get to go to every game, Like when parents are
your you guys, your players are senior and it's the
last year like they're gonna go to every road game,
and I think that's the most special. You get to
see him on the road. They go to Murray State,
the Murray Kentucky and they're they're there at a game, right,
And and that that was kind of things mean a
whole heck of a lot of the parents, and it
means a lot to all us, even the guys on
(53:00):
the radio. I get a chance to interact with the
parents a little best sitting next to Hayden Johnston's parents
on the way down here on a plane. Cool to
hear their story a little here their perspective on the
whole thing, right, So it is really awesome to see
that the parents get into this thing just as much
as anybody else does. Before we continue and take a break,
we do have to pause ten seconds for station identification.

Time for more reaction from today's game, Curing game as
your host, Andy Rickoff.
Speaker 7 (59:22):
This is the sixteenth play in the drive, third down
and three at the Bison fourteen code Grain trying to
turn them away in the red zone. Fall on the
right hash I'm a lot of the shotgun Humphrey to
his left, Bison's showing blitz motion from right to left
by McCullough. Snapped to Milot keeper up the middle. He
is knocked down shy on the line in the game.
(59:43):
Didn't make it Bison. We're able to get penetration. Cody
Heisman had the stop no gain on the play and
Montana State will have to settle for a field goal.
Speaker 4 (59:54):
Settle for field goal. Indeed, at that point, NDSU holding
strong defensively forced in the field goal from Montana State.
That in the middle of the second quarter, and NDISU
goes on to win it by a final score of
thirty five thirty two over the Bobcats of Montana State.
Welcome back in to Bison Hotline and you wreck off
Jayava with you is NDSU gets the victory in their

But on that drive, Jake, they kept the bob Katz
out of the end zone. And that we said was
(01:00:35):
gonna be key who was gonna have to settle for
field goals. That was the first instance of a team
in the red zone not being able to punch it in.
They were in the high red zone right now on
that seventeen yard line, but Indisu gets the stop and
that ends up being in eleven minute drive, eleven plus
minutes of game time and you settle for three points.
Grant Olsen, that's a dream come true for him in
Code Green.
Speaker 14 (01:00:53):
Yeah, that's a huge win. And we talked about we
talked about this little off air. I was surprised. The
second half is kind of what we think we all
expected the entire game to be like. And for nbsu's
defense to come out in the the game plan they
had in place to stop time a lot stop. This
Bobcat offense worked perfection. Now hats off to coach Vegan.
They going on a halftime make adjustments. Offense gets going
(01:01:14):
in the second half. But just the the game plan
and the scheme that coach Olsen coach Gazer came up with,
I mean at halftime, I'm like, is this.
Speaker 4 (01:01:21):
This this could end up being a blot, Like you're thinking,
get a stop, scored, starts partying three. Yeah.
Speaker 14 (01:01:28):
Yeah, but just that the defense came out and they
were played. The tackling was unbelievable. Ryan Jones once again
keeps playing his best games. Uh late in the season.
He played awesome. H Jalen Crumby was a man possessed
running around today. It was just it is a great
day for the Bison defense and eventually, obviously the Montana
State got it going a little bit and time a
lot's gonna make plays just because he's one of the
(01:01:49):
best athletes I think in the country right now. But yeah,
they did enough, and they made enough plays down the end,
and then Montane was a little bit of a head
scratcher on that last play of the game. I mean,
I know, you go for the punt block, but if
you have a guy back there you can you'll run
another play.
Speaker 4 (01:02:04):
I think either thinking nothing like if they get if
they were if they fair catch that kick and and
you have to do the thirty hooking ladder, they're probably
gonna work either. So they sell out for the pump
block and maybe we get it. But also NDS hues like,
it's just gonna be the quickest punt right, I don't
care how far it goes, just as it go somewhere
it doesn't get blocked. That's really all it matters at
that point that play. I still go back to what
(01:02:26):
Chris Hansen said to end of the first half, fourth down,
they go forth fourth and five, but the fourth and
one or fourth and two, fourth and five from with
their own forty five yard line or nbsu's forty five
yard yard line across midfield there. Decided to go for it,
and ironically enough, it comes after the Shaka Roches had
a sack. We thought he had a sack. Prison the
(01:02:47):
officials for not blowing the dead because I absolutely thought
it was a sack. I think everyone in the arena
thought it was except for Tommy. He gets up, keeps
running and then awareness by NDSU the rest of the
guys on defense to get him back to the ground.
Instead of fourth and fifteen, it's fourth and five. They
go for it, miss on the incomplete pass and the
NDSU goes down and the scores a touchdown. That ends
up not ceiling it at that point, but you know,
(01:03:07):
NYC wins by three and that is a huge seven
points there at the end of the first half. That
is a decision. Brent Vegan made a calculated risk, and
unfortunately for them, it came back to bite them.
Speaker 14 (01:03:19):
Yeah, and I mean you almost think normally you make
that decision if you feel like the game's getting away
from you, which maybe that's what coach Vegan thought. But
once you do that, you're down fourteen to three. You
don't get it. Now a sudden, it's twenty one three
and obviously we don't win by three.
Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
And what any of you have scored anyway, anys you've
scored anyways? We don't know. Maybe, Yeah, the thing, it's
a game with no turnovers. That looks kind of a turnover, right,
it's a turnover on down, so that he is a turnover.
There should have been a turnover. There should have been
That was a catch. I think we can we could
have all seen that a little bit. I'm shocked it
wasn't the very least review if they review it and
they're like, you know, we're gonna stay with the call, okay,
(01:03:55):
But it wasn't reviewed. Was was crazy to catch by
I think it was Rohan Jones. They ended up calling
it incomplete pass but got it, fumbled it and Marcus
Sheppard recovered it, but they call it incomplete pass on
the field and they don't go back and review. It
was crazy to me in that first quarter, but game
with no turnovers that ends up being a turnover on
downs there on that fourth and five they went for
(01:04:16):
late first half, don't get it nd issue then goes
down and scores the touchdown. They win it by three
thirty five thirty two. We did hear Noah Gendorff down
there postgame talking with a few players on the postgame show.
If you miss that, let's play him back for you
right here. How about Noah Gendorff with the head coach,
Tim Paulasek after the Bison win championship number ten in
(01:04:37):
his first as a head coach. You believe in Phil Acid.
Speaker 15 (01:04:57):
Yeah, that's been a great year. I didn't think they
could make it this far. It really didn't.
Speaker 37 (01:05:03):
And I'm very proud of these guys. They would not
quit and they didn't quit. And Cam Miller was fantastic
for play one. Marty Brown came along. I mean, it
was nice to see some guys really progress this year.
Speaker 4 (01:05:20):
Hey gotta coach here, guys, all right, Eh, going ahead,
let's go down into the field win a coach.
Speaker 38 (01:05:26):
Unbelievable game down here in Fresco the Mines were able
to get it done, Tens championship secure.
Speaker 15 (01:05:34):
I mean this gup right.
Speaker 39 (01:05:36):
I told him, I think we had a chance to
d a story that says that's the best story.
Speaker 15 (01:05:42):
Ever in this day and age in the championship earrow.
Speaker 39 (01:05:45):
With all the things that are going on in college football,
these seniors you know, just oh, they put a lot
of trust in in the new staff.
Speaker 15 (01:05:53):
But they stayed together. And I'll tell you what like,
that's why those who stayed will be champions.
Speaker 38 (01:06:00):
And unbelievable resolve shown by the Bison down the stretch
there came up made some big plays down down in
the end there.
Speaker 15 (01:06:06):
Yeah, a lot of credits gotta go to that kid.
I mean just running around and keeping them alive.
Speaker 39 (01:06:11):
But I'll tell you the effort we were playing with
and then our offense able to go out there and
make a few yards and then pluck the ball at.
Speaker 40 (01:06:17):
The clock off.
Speaker 4 (01:06:18):
Thanks coach back to use him, Thank you very much. Now,
Coach Tip Paul sick fourth bite?
Speaker 23 (01:06:25):
There you go?
Speaker 4 (01:06:26):
How about Coach p there? You can hear the passion
in his voice. You know, this senior class is stick
through and to trust him the first class he brings
in this this freshman class this year, he's brought in
his first one's gonna be special for him too. But
the senior class that put trust in him, that meant
a lot.
Speaker 15 (01:06:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (01:06:42):
And I was standing down there next to uh No.
One Coach p when he was doing that interview, and
just like you said, you can hear the emotion his voice.
Speaker 15 (01:06:48):
He was cheering up. He was he's getting choked up.
But just that guy, he bleeds green and gold.
Speaker 14 (01:06:52):
And like he said, just for that senior class to
put their trust in him and the staff he put
in place means a lot about them, and it means
a lot about you know, the character coach Poulsick has.
And hats off to Matt Larson, I'll say Matt Larson
with Tim Poulsick as well. There was a nice embrace. Yeah,
it's just it's just it's awesome. I mean, it's just
this program just keeps ongoing. It doesn't matter who's at
(01:07:13):
the helm, who's the quarterback, who's the third string defensive ent,
just doesn't matter. This program just keeps getting better and
better and just rewriting history here in a year out.
Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
Yeah, pretty awesome moment there for coach Tim Pauli sik.
Let's take a break. We'll come back. Plenty left to
get to more of your text your phone calls, your emails,
your comments. As NDSU wins Championship number ten, they have
filled up the hands, I guess we can start filling up.

it down when we come back here on Bison Hotline.

How early are you planting soybeans this year? I'm Darren Hefty,
the Hefty Seed Company. It's hard to argue against the
yield benefit of planting soybeans early, but don't forget the
seed treatment. Early planted soybeans lay in the ground longer
and are exposed to insects and diseases for more time
than normal. Treating your soybeans with Hefty Complete provides thirty
five different ways to help your seed be successful with naturals, fungicides, insecticide,

Reaction from today's game. Cure game is your host's Andy Rickoff.
Speaker 7 (01:11:50):

Speaker 4 (01:12:00):
Oh my goodness, are you kidding me? Right now?
Speaker 13 (01:12:03):
Chryce silences the crowd diving inside of the five.
Speaker 4 (01:12:07):
You can give him the two. Kate of thirty nine
first Style Bison. I happen to be Andy Rickoff back
here with you on Bison Hotline Jake Cava as well
as Andy ycu Wins at thirty five thirty two. I
happen to be watching the game with Kyle Emmanuel for
a little bit and we on that play where Bryce
Lance makes that catch and gets them down to the
two to try and respond to Montana State's rally. Happen
(01:12:30):
to be watching it from that end zone from the
you know, just behind that end zone actually up on
the stage area. To the right of the bands and
to see him just lay out full extension, grab a
ball and then also bring it in like in one
motion before going to the ground. Mat guy is special.
What he can do, what he can do when he
is like laying out for a ball, and how he
can just has the body control in mid air is on.
(01:12:53):
It's unreal. It's just something you it's unhuman. Yes, I
feel like can it can be done. But he finds
a way to come up with those catches day in
and day out.
Speaker 15 (01:13:01):
Yeah, his like you said, his body control is just
it's next level.
Speaker 4 (01:13:04):
And obviously it's the one before the first half where
he catches it just a half yard shy, but that
was a crazy catch. Yeah, obviously that there's there's that
family is pretty good athletes.
Speaker 14 (01:13:15):
Mama Lance and Papa Lance. They got some good Geens'
is a good gene pool there. But no, just Bryce's
body control is unbelievable. Obviously, I think he'll have a
shot at the next level. You go out on national
television and play out he played, there's definitely gonna be
some interest for obviously the portal I even get into that.
Speaker 15 (01:13:30):
But at the next level in the NFL, too, But like.
Speaker 14 (01:13:33):
We were saying earlier, it just we're almost like, oh yeah,
it's mundane now, it's just Bryce Lance is gonna make
big plays when we need it, and it's it's a
good problem to have, NDI super's so spoilless. We just
got you know what, when we need big plays, players
are gonna make them.
Speaker 15 (01:13:48):
And that's just how it is. And I think it'll
always be that way.
Speaker 4 (01:13:50):
Big play Bryce, big play for us here at in
DYSU gets to win thirty five thirty two over Montana State.
We do have a conversation of Noah Gandor back on
the sidelines post game, this time with the most outstanding
player and a national champion once again. He caught up
with quarterback Cam Miller after the game.
Speaker 38 (01:14:09):
Cam, unbelievable resolve shown by you guys this season. All season,
it seemed like, and you guys just kept answering the bell.
It felt like all year, pride and conditioning.
Speaker 4 (01:14:19):
You know, we lean.
Speaker 44 (01:14:21):
I feel like we fall back on bis and pride
all the time, and that's what showed up in the
second half. You know, couldn't be more happy for this
team and my teammates. I don't want this to be
the end, but it can't get any better than this.
Speaker 4 (01:14:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 38 (01:14:36):
We had the discussion earlier, do you think you'd rather
have the Walter Payton or win the national championship?
Speaker 4 (01:14:41):
And I feel like I know your answer on that one.
Speaker 44 (01:14:43):
The bigger one is always the better one And couldn't
be happier for the guys. This was a true team
effort and we got it done today.
Speaker 4 (01:14:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 38 (01:14:52):
I mean this senior class, you guys are super tight knit,
went through the coaching change, and you guys took this
thing all the way to the end.
Speaker 15 (01:14:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 44 (01:14:58):
It took a lot of trust and fai and uh,
you know, we had to we had to trust the
coaching staff and how do how did trust coach? Coach
Paula said that he was gonna do his job and
we were gonna do ours, and and it paid off.
Speaker 4 (01:15:14):
Thanks Kim, thank you. You know Noel Goodtnick's really good
at asking questions, but really not asking a question, just
his a statement and like he let you take it
where it is. He's done a great job on the sidelines.
And Cam's got these little liners, you know, the bigger
one is always the better one. Yeah, things like that,
just these little quips that he's gotten really good at
as well speaking to the media. That was a pretty
awesome moment, I'm sure for him.
Speaker 14 (01:15:35):
Yeah, and just Cam Miller just talk about the result
that kid has of coming in and he's made a
comment at the Walter Payton thing that just for him
to be in that stage when you know people were
calling for him to be benched earlier in his career,
and just the toughness that kid plays with his leadership,
he's gonna have a shot at the next level. I
know he's going to the the the Shrine Bowl here
and then he'll go start training with his agent. But
(01:15:57):
he's gonna be He's gonna have a shot to be
a I look at Brock Purty, I'm like, why can't Cam.
It would be like a Brock party or yeah, why
can't Cat Like that's kind of like super accurate. Maybe
not the biggest arm, but I mean mobile enough, mobile
enough to get out of the pocket and get on
the run a little bit. But obviously he's not gonna
He's not Josh Allen or something like that.
Speaker 4 (01:16:16):
But now, I just skill impressive with the Shrine Bowl.
Continue to do what you do. He's gonna really impress
in meetings. I'm sure with his college and again NDSU,
the style of offense, it translates, it's a pro style,
does help you go into that next level. I wouldn't
be shocked if he worked his way into day through
the draft in that one bit.
Speaker 14 (01:16:32):
Obviously, I think Easton sticks maybe a little bit better
of an athlete and maybe has some more you know,
a little bit more gas in his arm. But Cams
Cam's the more natural thrower than Easton. Just the way
the ball comes out of Cam's hand is it's super
It's natural and comfortable and it looks good.
Speaker 4 (01:16:46):
But yeah, excited to see you know where his career
takes him. Yeah, it's gonna be interesting. You forget about that,
like this is all great. The team flies back tomorrow
and then on like Thursday, these guys are gone again
and they're trading. Yeah, like three months.
Speaker 14 (01:17:00):
Well so like guys like Cam and Gray, they won't
even they won't go back with the team. They'll get
picked up at the at the hotel tomorrow by their
agency and they'll be they'll go to I think Gray
is going to Uh.
Speaker 15 (01:17:09):
He's with.
Speaker 14 (01:17:11):
Used to be rep One. It's a new They have
a new name, but it's out in the l a
same same agency as Cody. But those guys get picked
up by There'll be a black suv outside the hotel
tomorrow morning and they.
Speaker 4 (01:17:20):
Usually we say, don't jump in the gu this one
you can get it. Get in the car. Yeah, you
can get in that one. Cam doing the same, sure
that you Mason maybe doing something like that. Other guys, uh,
you know, the most starts want a chance of that
next little Griffin Crows has mentioned he wants to shot
at the next level. All those guys, it will be
fun to see them. You know, that's a couple months away.
It's Pro Day, right, they'll sneak up on us quick.
The cycle restarts a Pro Day and then spring ball
(01:17:42):
and the Spring Game and all those type of things.
And it's gonna be fun to see them compete for
a shot at that next level too, for sure. And
I'm sure Cam will probably be throwing on his Pro
day too, right. So that's a little thing you can
do now that the quarterback can throw, the receivers. Receivers
can catch from the quarterback if they want to. Maybe
be some other guys I'm sure to catch from the
maybe Joe stuffle, Joe wants to play at that next
level two. Gonna be interesting to see how all that
(01:18:03):
gets worked out. But happy for all of them, really
happy to have had Noel Gendorf on the sidelines with
us throughout the year as well. We do have a
couple of text messages to get too. Let's work our
way through a couple of these right now if we
can seven zero one four seven six sixteen six to
be a part of the program tonight. We do have
a few text messages in here. First off, from let's
(01:18:24):
go with the Micah, We're gonna need to see a
picture of Nick Gazer with ten rings on his hands,
go Buison. What a game that was. He's not the
only one that would have all ten of them, but yeah, Goose,
I saw him actually on the the the podium, gave
him a little bit of a hug and it's like congratulations,
a pretty special moment for him. But yeah, he's got
all ten of them. Yeah, those the fists are full
(01:18:44):
right now.
Speaker 14 (01:18:45):
Yeah, him and Coach Kramer, they're they're the two that
have been here the whole entire thing. And you know,
obviously I'm super close with Coach Gazer, is my position
coach on the d line, but just extremely happy for him,
and he was probably the most influential person I think
with the seniors. Just here coached Paul second coach Gazer
from the same high school.
Speaker 15 (01:19:03):
They've known.
Speaker 14 (01:19:04):
They're growing up each other's weddings exactly. They've been best
friends since their little kids and.
Speaker 4 (01:19:08):
Lived together and believe the report of their career hit.
Speaker 14 (01:19:11):
But uh so, I know he was really influential on
guys like the most arts and stuff, saying hey, like.
Speaker 4 (01:19:15):
Coach piece to come in here like this is I
know this guy. You can trust me?
Speaker 14 (01:19:19):
Yeah, we trust him, and but yeah, it's pretty pretty
surreal to his hands would get sore.
Speaker 15 (01:19:25):
I think that's that's a lot these are. I got
one of mine on right now, and these things are heavy,
like it's yeah, they're a little kind of annoying feeling
by the end, dislocating.
Speaker 4 (01:19:32):
But yeah, like when a woman gets engaged, they were
all this engagement. Oh he's ten rings. I guess this
is so difficult. This was a picture sent into us
on the text line by Nick Nick Pile tending us
this picture he just took a screenshot twenty twenty four,
South Dakota State champion. Uh is what it says right
now in the ends A site, South Dakota State. We're
(01:19:55):
gonna need to get that thing that shanged, for sure.
But Tim Poulasek right there, matt In there as well,
matt Ens as well in twenty nineteen, Chris Climbing in
twenty eighteen. But yeah, Nick saying we got to change
this on the NCAA s I want us to mention.
We'll mention it. Yet that's CBA whoever, if you're down
on the field, change this thing, it says South Dakota
State right now, twenty twenty four, It will get changed.
(01:20:16):
I don't think that will stay up for more than
a couple of seconds, But I do want to mention
Tim Paul's like winning it here in twenty twenty four,
yet matt EN's there in twenty nineteen. We know Chris
Climban his first year as well. It's a trend now
right the first year head coaches are doing it, and
also second year broadcasters. Because Jeff Colhynes's first year twenty sixteen,
don't win a national title. Twenty seventeen, you do. Sam
(01:20:38):
Niederman last year, first year didn't win a title. This
year on the call. Second, if you stick around, those
who stay will be chairs. If you stay as a
play that play guy, that second year is gonna be
pretty special for you. So congratulations of Sam and as
a broadcaster getting a chance to call a game like
this and also to kind of be a part and
be along for the ride. Are we are we playing? No,
but we're part of that extended family member a little
(01:20:58):
bit to be a part of this ride. I know
as a broadcaster, these moments are pretty special to call
a national championship game. Him, Noah, Phil, the entire crew
did a great job. But yeah, first year head coaches, man,
it's been and it's been a thing.
Speaker 14 (01:21:10):
First year head coaches, second year broadcasters, and then first
year pre and postgame show guys.
Speaker 4 (01:21:17):
Yeah yeah, pre and postgame show analysts with us as well. Yeah,
that's is a theme. I would have to think. I'm sure.
I think Cole Jerks first year he did so really.
Speaker 15 (01:21:28):
Yeah, James Hendricks first year, we'd have been twenty twenty one.
Speaker 4 (01:21:34):
Yeah, would have been would have been twenty twenty one.
You got national time. Wow, see history does repeat itself. Sorry,
we're gonna fire you. Yeah, you actually just talked yourself
out of a job for last year. We need somebody
else to start the trend back over. But call text
or email the program. You can call him text at
seven zero one four seven six sixteen sixty. Got David
(01:21:55):
calder Will texting and says congratulations bonds in. Do you
know what time they will be landing back home. I
can tell you David, they're not leaving till tomorrow, So
no need to be taking laps around Hector International Airport
tonight or the Jet Center. They will not be leaving
until tomorrow, somewhere around the neighborhood of nine in the morning,
So get back a little bit later than that. We'll
(01:22:18):
try maybe get you some info on that. So everyone,
hopefully in Fargo and the surrounding communities get out there
and they'll be a little parade. They have a bus,
so we'll have something that brings them back to the
Fargo Dome and hopefully we can support them and cheer
them on and congratulate them on another national Championship winning performance.
John and West Fargo says, great performance by Bryce Lance.
Those highlight reel catches will serve to get him even
(01:22:40):
more attention and increase pay at the next level, but
the level we want um staying at here is obviously
the FCS. I'm right there with you. People, get a
hold of jam Bartleague Collective to do. What we need
to do is support this kid because he deserves it.
But I also want to keep him around here, and
I don't think he's got any intentions of going anywhere.
But doesn't mean we shouldn't support the kid at a
very very high lightf he's an awesome player and awesome dude,
(01:23:01):
a good kid. We mentioned the athletes in that family.
I'm sure Carlton lance So would probably say he's the
best athlete of Yeah, the family's dad. There's a really
good head on his shoulders because of what his parents
have done in his career growing up. David Mine not
always one of our favorites throughout the entire year, text
in and says, I think it is a good time
to make an additional one time donation to the Green
(01:23:23):
and Gold Collective on top of my monthly donation, and
at a championship number ten be a perfect time to
do it. I might play with you, Dave, Dave and
Mine not texting in there with that one. We appreciate
you being a part of the program all year long.
Speaker 14 (01:23:35):
Dave.
Speaker 4 (01:23:36):
Another text here from a Bison fan in Tennessee, Tennessee
area Code says, enjoying the coverage from Nashville, Tennessee on
the flagship flake Ship station for NDSU Athletics, and it's
a great day to be a Bison once again. Looking
forward to having it here next year. That will be
fun in Nashville, Tennessee. Appreciate again. Bison Nation is everywhere. Yea,
(01:24:00):
they really are. I remember, you know, I call games
for women's basketball and we have a game against Denver
every year in Denver because they're a team in the conference.
And I kind of go for a run right around
our hotel in Denver. I'm going to go for a
run quick, and I see two Bison flakes on houses
on the run with then a mile radius of this
hotel and we're in the middle of Denver, Colorado. There everyone,
(01:24:22):
and it is really cool to see Bison Nation stretching
far and wide. We appreciate you guys listening to our
coverage here on the flag ship for NDSU Athletics. Bison
sixteen sixty and one oh seven point nine the Fox.
How about knocking over a garbage can. Isn't a good
look for someone winning the Walter Payton Award. How wasn't
that unsportsman like penalty touchdown? Tommy is now known as
(01:24:43):
trash can Tommy. Tommy Wat's a great player. Yeah, dude's special.
Dude's obviously an icon from Montana stating out there in Bozeman.
And he had a heck of a game today too,
not a great first half, but he really willed his
team back into this game in the second half.
Speaker 15 (01:24:57):
Yeah, he did.
Speaker 14 (01:24:57):
And I know, I'm I know Tommy a little bit
just from playing the He's a good kid. I think
it's just probably laps in judgment of I don't know
why you even do that, Like that's just I know
it's gonna kind of get bown out of proportion.
Speaker 15 (01:25:07):
And it wasn't.
Speaker 14 (01:25:08):
It was kind of a not a nice guy move.
But he's he's actually a good guy. I've talked to
him quite a few times. But and for to answer
that question, a team will arrive back at one pm.
Speaker 4 (01:25:18):
Tomorrow, one pm tomorrow, So there's your answer. Everyone, one pm.
Try to get to just get to the the They're
gonna go to the shack where they get dropped off.
Maybe at the Fargo do um get to the Fargo
Dome parking lot at one o'clock and be there to
congratulate them and welcome them back home as national champions.
Once again, we do a one more text we wanted
(01:25:39):
to get to here before we take a break. All
those young football players out there can learn a lot
from Cam Miller and his work ethic to never give up.
Four years ago, he was replaced by a transfer QB
and instead of leaving NDSU, he decided to work harder,
stay in the program. He got to start for the Bison,
and the rest is history. What a quarterback, what a memory,
and the legacy that he leaves yep. In a transfer
(01:26:00):
portal era, he lost the job to Quincy Patterson. We
all forget that little segment of Bison history. He could
have laughed, he decided not to. All of a sudden
Missouri State game, Quincy gets hurt. Caim comes in the
rest of history. He wins a national title that year,
He wins a national title this year. Yep, very awesome moment. Yeah,
the guy deserves a thirty for thirty for his career.
Speaker 15 (01:26:18):
He does a US one. I think any suit we need.
What are we getting our thirty for thirty.
Speaker 14 (01:26:22):
Because after our thirtieth national tite, Yeah, which honestly, we're
gonna be there before you know it.
Speaker 4 (01:26:28):
Yeah, we're getting closer.
Speaker 15 (01:26:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:26:29):
Sure, any suns are thirty for thirty. Yeah, I don't
disagree with you one bit. It is obviously a very
special program. Let's take a break. We'll come back plenty
more to get to here. As we're celebrating Adsue's tenth
national title in the last fourteen years, I can't believe
I'm saying that those numbers don't seem real, but it is.
This is reality. The buys that are back on top

of the FCS mountain.

Time for more reaction from today's game, Pure Again is
your host Andy Rickoff Camp and the.
Speaker 7 (01:31:59):
Shotgun on purchdown and goal from the three gets a snap, hands.
Speaker 4 (01:32:02):
It off to Brown. Brown slamming Ford driving to the
goal line.
Speaker 13 (01:32:06):
He is in touchdown, touchdown Marty Brown, touchdown North Dakota
State Bison and what two forty one to go at
Frisco and DSU has re upped the lead to two scores.
Speaker 4 (01:32:19):
It's thirty four to twenty five and in the issue
wins it thirty five thirty two over Montana State their
tenth national title. And that touchdown by Marty Brown. I
still love the call of touchdown Marty Brown. It really
does have a nice ring to it. Pun absolutely intended
(01:32:41):
on that one. That at the touchdown run by Marty
Brown caps off a touchdown drive that will be going
down in history as our twenty twenty four FCS National
Title Drive of the game. Brought to you by Hoffman Trucking,
Hoffman Trucking leading the trucking industry for over twenty five
(01:33:02):
years and counting, and they're looking for their next great
team member. You can apply online at Hoffman Trucking dot com.
That's h O F M, A N N, one F
and two ends for Hoffman Trucking online at Hoffman Trucking
dot com. That is our Hoffman Trucking drive of the game.
And ESU goes nine plays. They got the ball there
(01:33:24):
with seven minutes and forty five seconds left. They score
that touchdown with two point forty left on the clock,
So I got five minutes and four seconds, and you
go all the way down the field starting on your
own thirty four. You have it there up by just three,
and you conclude up by ten as Marty Brown punches
it in. We didn't see much of Arrika, We didn't
see much a TK. This was the Marty Brown show
(01:33:46):
for the most part. Didn't have maybe his most efficient
game or his best game in those first three quarters,
but again when you needed the most, when you needed
to get something going there on that last drive, he
was pretty special. Ends up with seventeen carries, seven seven
yards and a score in this game and is one
of the biggest scores of the game for sure.
Speaker 14 (01:34:05):
Yeah, I mean that was huge, just to you know,
get the ball back and go on a drive, go
up by ten, be able to run the ball. I
know there's a big cam out, a big completion to
lose raj on a third down on that drive, but
just that's NC football. You over and get the ball.
We're gonna run it.
Speaker 15 (01:34:21):
True clock make montesae I take a couple of timeouts
and punch one in and win the game.
Speaker 4 (01:34:25):
Yeah. Cam Miller passed short left to raj On Nelson
for seven yards on a third and five, gets them
the first down there, and you know, choose up some clock.
There's another minute, minute and a half off the clock.
At that point. The drive got going with a shotgun
Marty Brown run up the middle for seven Then Marty
(01:34:46):
Brown rushed to the left for sixteen yards. It gets
to the Montana State twenty five. Cam Miller passed short
to the right for Bryce Lance at the twenty yard line.
There's a five yard gain and then cam Miller sacked
one yard lost one of the few times they got
to him in the game. And then that pass to
Rajah Nelson that gives them a first down, gets to
the Montana State fourteen and then yeah, Marty Brown again
(01:35:08):
run up the middle for nine yards and then a
run for two yards, gets down to the three before
he punches it in from three yards out and gives
NDSU a thirty four to twenty five lead at the time.
It ends up being thirty five to twenty five after
the extra point. Shout out to a Griffin cross up
perfect once again. The dude's been special his whole career.
Gets another national title on the way out the doors,
(01:35:28):
the leading score all time, most points scored INFCS history.
Awesome stuff for gryffin Crosa, but a big touchdown there
by Marty Brown to kind of cap things. Often that
felt like it was a weird position for Montana State
because every time you stopped NDSU, it met like another
minute off the clock with the way the clock was running.
But also you couldn't let him score a touchdown, so
(01:35:49):
they tried what they could to get NDSU to had
to kick a field goal there, but NDSU punches it
in for a touchdown. You go up two scores, and
it felt like that was gonna seal it, and it
basically did.
Speaker 14 (01:35:59):
Yeah, you know, he comes down to you know, goes
and scores and then the outside kick was actually a
little closer than yeah that was if you heard help
stand right there and I'm like, someone grab it. Someone
grabbing eventually Bryce on Brice.
Speaker 4 (01:36:13):
Usually it doesn't make it to the second or third
per round.
Speaker 15 (01:36:15):
But uh, yeah, I know it was a great driving,
just great win for the Bison.
Speaker 23 (01:36:19):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (01:36:19):
We do have a few more people calling in right now.
Let's go back over to the phone lines the icon
in Fargo giving us a call icon. Great to hear
from you. How you feeling after Championship number ten?
Speaker 48 (01:36:32):
Oh my goodness, you know, I'll tell you what. I'm
actually disappointed. This is the first one of the ten.
I have not been down to Friscos, so I had
to host my own radio show on Monday, so I
couldn't go down there. But a couple of things I
want to talk about.
Speaker 44 (01:36:45):
You know.
Speaker 48 (01:36:45):
I'm glad you guys clarified that you are that you
did not want to see any of you guys be
replaced just so we get another national championship. I'm glad
you guys clarified that. And uh, real quick here you guys,
and I'll make a point uh, you guys mentioned that
the ESPN thirty for thirty. Actually three months ago, I
had a guest on my show that works for ESPN,
(01:37:08):
the producers of thirty for thirty, So I've been in
contact with him trying to get him down here to
do a thirty for thirty for Nbashoes. Some more to
come on that, And my question to you guys is,
you know, we just took out the only undefeated team
in college left, which was Montana State. And Montana State,
of course, has been dominating all season long, and we
(01:37:30):
just basically took it to him. My question you guys
is what do you guys look for next season as
we build on this? And who do you say would
be our starting quarterback or are we gonna bring in
somebody that might get on the transfert portal. Those are
my questions. All hang up, listen, Thanks guys, Love.
Speaker 4 (01:37:49):
You, yep, thank you icon, Thanks calling in all year long,
fight the good fight for the thirty for thirty. Yeah,
first off, I'm not in the business of looking forward
to next year. Quite you have so basket and the
Globe and National championship and the Convetti's still falling. I
want to talk about this year's team. But it's fair
you ask the question, we'll answer it. Yeah, you don't
have cam. I think, first off, this NBSU teammate, it
(01:38:11):
ain't going anywhere.
Speaker 15 (01:38:11):
We know that.
Speaker 4 (01:38:12):
And you look around the FCS, like when you look
at next year, obviously what's happening down in Brookings. There's
a new head coach, as a whole new coaching staff.
They've lost a lot of players. They're gonna lose players
no matter what because a graduation, and now they've lost
a lot more in the transferporter Griffin Wilde going to
Northwestern with David Brown and the former STSU offensive coordinator
Zach Luhan. Lost a number of players that are going
(01:38:33):
to Washington State with Jimmy Rodgers. Some players are staying,
and I have no questions that I think they're gonna
be fine. That program has a lot of culture. No
matter how much we despise them a little bit, they're
a good program. They're going to be around. I think
Dan Jackson's a good higher form. But they're gonna take
a step back for next year at least at the beginning.
Right there's a lot of transition there right now. A
(01:38:53):
lot of things up in the air Montana State, you
don't have Tommy Mallot, you don't have Greenby. I stick
at Vegan. They took got a lot of the key pieces. Again,
They're going to be fine. They're going to be able
to reload here. I think they are a program now
that is more of a reload than rebuild. When things
like this happen, I think Montana will hopefully be back
in that mix as well. USD will be back in
that mix. They get Bounman back at quarterback. They do
(01:39:14):
lose their offensive coordinator, which I think is a bigger
loss that people are making it out to be. Right now,
Josh Davis really changed the way that offense looked when
he was there for a couple of short years, and
he's not going out to be with Matt Ans at
Fresno State. But yeah, those are the top contenders with NDC.
When I know the Bison lose Cam Miller, the Bison
will lose a lot of key pieces. Gray's abel as well.
But I think they've got the pieces coming back, and
(01:39:35):
they've got the pieces to take over the spots that
are going to be missing. And when it comes to quarterback,
we'll figure out what happens in spring ball. But I
have a hard time believing this isn't going to be
a Cole Payton's team.
Speaker 15 (01:39:44):
Come next year.
Speaker 14 (01:39:45):
Yeah, it'll be interesting, I think. You know, obviously Cole
Payton's out with injury. Now we saw a little bit of.
Speaker 4 (01:39:49):
Nathan Hayes had a massive arms.
Speaker 15 (01:39:55):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 14 (01:39:56):
I would say right now, like the betting nods favorite
byb Cole Payton, just because he's played, he's we've seen him.
Speaker 4 (01:40:04):
I would say, I don't think to go into the transferportal.
Speaker 14 (01:40:07):
No, for what I think in the transfer we just
got a safety here, DV from Texas Tech, and we're
get that. People's looking at a couple of d ms
to bring in. But I don't think quarterback probably won't
be a spot in the transfer portal.
Speaker 4 (01:40:18):
Against the kids coming in this next class too that
they really really like a quarterback, two of them.
Speaker 15 (01:40:22):
Actually, I would say right now Cole Peyton will probably
be your starter week one.
Speaker 4 (01:40:25):
Yeah, it could be a fun battle. It's gonna be
a talker. It should be a talker. We will talk
plenty about it, but right now, let's talk about the
team that just won their tenth national title. Let's go
back to the phone lines. Ronda in Fargo giving us
a call on Bison Hotline. Ronda, you're here with us
on Bison Hotline.
Speaker 29 (01:40:40):
I am.
Speaker 49 (01:40:41):
I am in Morehead actually, but that's okay. No, But
did you know that Bryce and Trey Lance's great great
grapplers from Wolverton, So they'll be around. But he just
passed away two years ago to discovery one hundred and two?
Speaker 4 (01:40:57):
What was the one hundred and two? Would you say there?
Speaker 49 (01:41:00):
That the great grandpa? Yeah, and he passed away two
years ago. Bit so I think hopefully Bryce will stick around.
You know, his grandpa is a big happen But no,
it's just I'm originally from Overton and I did so anyway,
but I am a Dragon, but I support number five
(01:41:21):
outside of Bison Jersey.
Speaker 4 (01:41:25):
All right there, Idi, Yeah, thank you on to appreciate
the call here on Bison Hotline. How about Eric in
Morehead given us a call as well. Eric, you're here
with us. What do you want to talk about?
Speaker 50 (01:41:35):
Good evening? Well, first of all, I would like to
thank you Andy and Sam and Phil and Chris and
everybody from Bison sixteen sixty. You've done such a wonderful
job in coverage and description in my case for the
football games. I just really love your product.
Speaker 15 (01:41:54):
And thank you, Eric.
Speaker 4 (01:41:55):
We appreciate you guys, and we are more than happy
to do it.
Speaker 50 (01:41:59):
One of the things I'd like to bring up and
get your thoughts on is I think that the keyword
to the whole season. It's just been the resiliency, just
the act of being resilient. Where it comes down to
coach Polisic and his story, Cam Miller and what he's
(01:42:24):
gone through, Ryan Jones, just the whole team. So many
teams could have like, well, we had a good season,
we had a goof up with the USD game and
then cashed it in, but they didn't. And I just
think the whole team really shows well. Like Coach Politics said,
(01:42:47):
if you want to stay here, you could be a champion,
and they prove that tonight. So I'd like to have
your thoughts on that thought. And then I've got a
follow up come him.
Speaker 4 (01:43:00):
What's the follow up?
Speaker 50 (01:43:03):
Oh, just that I really hope that a lot of
the players in this status of nil and the transfer
portal really stick it out, because well, Bison had been
known for power running game, so receivers like Watson or Lance.
(01:43:27):
You know, they could have gone someplace else for a bigger,
higher flying offense, but they didn't and they're in the NFL.
Speaker 15 (01:43:37):
You know.
Speaker 50 (01:43:39):
It's just I just hope a lot of the players
hang around stick it out because you can get to
where you're going from a home like where the Bison room.
Speaker 4 (01:43:53):
Absolutely may the call Eric, We do appreciate. Yeah, I
am right there with you a man on that thought.
I know the players aren't listening to us right now,
but that's gonna be. That's we don't need to tell him,
that's the thing. It's gotten to the point you don't
need to tell them that, like, yes, this is a
it's always been a run first offense, and he's she's
going to run the ball. We're built in the trenches.
So you know, if you're an offensive line, he got
(01:44:13):
a great chance to go to the NFL from NDSU.
If you're a quarterback, you got a great chance to
go to the NFL from NDSU. But even yeah, as
a receiver, you got a chance.
Speaker 23 (01:44:21):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:44:21):
Obviously Christian Watson was drafted, and we feel for Christian
right now. I know a torn ACL he's done for
the year with the Packers and his next year a
little bit in doubt for the start of it too,
so hoping for a speedy recovery there for Christian. But
like a Darius Sheppard got a bit of time in
the NFL too, when he's been in the XFL for
a number of years or the USFL, whatever league it
was at the time, he's gotten a chance too. I
(01:44:42):
got a hard time believe in Bryce Lances ain't gonna
get a chance in the NFL. I mean, the dude's
a freakish athlete. The body controls great, he's got speed,
he can I think any receiver that number one skilled
for me at the NFL level is contested catch. Yeah,
everything's contested. Everything's close. You're not gonna have any open
looks if you can get those contested catches, and he
can do them as well as anybody.
Speaker 14 (01:45:01):
And just with his the pedigrees, last name, and people
know who he is is obviously his older brothers in
the league.
Speaker 15 (01:45:06):
Yeah, he's definitely gonna he'll get a shot somewhere.
Speaker 4 (01:45:08):
At the running backs, defensive lineman, defensive backs, they've all
gotten chances. You can go anywhere from NDYSU. You don't
need to tell them that at this point, yeah, you
can go some you can transfer somewhere. That place might
not have the pedigree NDSU has, that grass might not
be greener. You've got a chance to come me here,
compete and win national championships. I would have a tough time.
(01:45:28):
I'm not a nineteen or eighteen to twenty two or
twenty three year old, and I know they think a
little bit differently sometimes. And there's obviously money is a
big factor. People's families. Everyone's family is different in THEFIRER situations.
But I got a tough time believing if I go
anywhere else it's going to be a better situation what
NDSU has. If you're a starter or someone that has
(01:45:48):
a key role already no reason to be leaved.
Speaker 14 (01:45:51):
Yeah, and you're we're playing games on national television all
the time, and yeah, it's like you said, there's I
think something.
Speaker 15 (01:45:57):
I think.
Speaker 14 (01:45:57):
I have some teammates, some friends that found out that
the ground isn't greener on the other side, and they left,
and they did it for whatever reason, And they said, Jake,
I messed up. I should have stayed. I thought this
was gonna be this and it wasn't. And I've left
one of the best programs in college football.
Speaker 4 (01:46:12):
Yep.
Speaker 15 (01:46:12):
But everyone's gotta find out their own way.
Speaker 14 (01:46:14):
And like you said, you know, eighteen to twenty three
year olds are, they're impressionable.
Speaker 4 (01:46:19):
And unfortunately people get bad advice too. They do, and
there's people that they send you direct messages and throw
numbers and figures out at you and not always telling
the truth. You might not get the money they're saying
you're gonna get. You might think you have it, and
then you go in to the portal and then they're like, yeah,
we actually give to somebody else. And now you're in
a spot where you're like, whoa I done on a scholarship.
I lost this opportunity, that opportunity, and you're in a
bad spot. That's the state of college athletics we're in.
(01:46:41):
It's k grimey, Gary sleazy. Which again, that's why this
was football the way it was intended to be played
in the backyard with your buddies at night with the
porch light on. That's what this was for both programs.
It wasn't just because of NDSU. Montana State does it
that way as well. You're gonna lose players to the
portal that happens. But I think both of these programs
have a good culture right now. They're to build things
the way it should be built and not the last time.
(01:47:03):

Speaker 7 (01:51:41):
Second down and goal Bison trying to punch it in
and stretch the lead back to two scores. They work
from left to right. Are of the lone star lights
NDSU by three. Here's second down and goal at the
one cam under center takes a snap play sweeps to
us right, fires en.
Speaker 13 (01:52:01):
Zone touchdown, touchdown buys it. Joe Stuffle the senior and
his final game, a one yard touchdown at NDSU and
stretch the lead back to two scores twenty seven eighteen
with fourteen to eighteen remaining in the National Championship.
Speaker 4 (01:52:22):
And there's a play you might forget about when you
look back on this game years from now. NDSU wins
it thirty five thirty two over Montana State and Joe
Stuffle three receptions twenty nine yards and that touchdown that
again Montana State had taken all the momentum. They put
this thing down to a three point game, and ESU
(01:52:42):
goes down. You get down to the goal line to
have to punch it in there and you find the
tight end leaking out. Joe Stuffle last game gets a touchdown.
We mentioned earlier today he could play a factor in
this one. And cool to see Joe have an impact
on this National Championship stage.
Speaker 14 (01:52:58):
Yeah, And like we were saying earlier, just the momentum
was kind of tilted all in Montana State's favorite at
that point, and then our offense just kept making plays,
defense got timely stop.
Speaker 15 (01:53:07):
It was just.
Speaker 14 (01:53:09):
I did I did feel down the side on that
times I'm like, oh, boy, like this could get out,
Like Tommy Millott's roll in. Their offense is looking kind
of pretty good right now.
Speaker 4 (01:53:16):
Like if I had that big touchdime, Round'm like, oh,
we did not need them scoring that quickly.
Speaker 14 (01:53:20):
If our offense slips up and you know, gets a
three and l like, we could be in trouble. But
they just kept answering the bell and yeah, I was
watching the highlights on the TV here Roger just had.
Speaker 15 (01:53:28):
A good catch.
Speaker 14 (01:53:29):
But uh on that first drive, Yeah, offense just kept
making plays and you know, cam Miller was cam Miller,
and it was just they made plays and they.
Speaker 4 (01:53:36):
Needed to Joe stuff Will unsung senior, right in a
moment like this, you needed seniors to step up and
have some moments too, and he's that's a play. It's
gonna get forgotten about a little bit. Shouldn't, but it
probably will be andy as you you know right that
at that point, it's a basically a one possession game.
You go down, you get cam Miller passed to Joe
Stuffill makes it twenty seven eighteen, you go up, then
twenty eight eighteen with the extra point back up by ten.
(01:53:58):
You just keep putting the mind Tennis State at arms reach,
make them make more plays if they want to get
back into the game. NDSU did a great job of
that all game long, and they get the win thirty
five thirty two over Montana State and our score there
brought to you by Jiffy loub of Fargo on the scoreboard.
Jiffy Lupa Fargo makes living life easy, no appointment needed
(01:54:19):
at any of their three locally owned and operated locations.
Swinging to make sure your vehicle is ready for the
road and you can travel stress free because your Jiffy
Loupa Fargo has you covered. Jiffy Lupa Fargo, you can
do more in a jiffy. They're bringing you our scoreboard
as NDSU wins it thirty five thirty two. No other
games in the entire country. On to just n DSU.
(01:54:39):
Let's pause ten seconds for station identification. You're listening to
Bison Hotline.
Speaker 1 (01:54:45):
Q WB West Fargo, Fargo, Moorhead and KPFX HD three
Kindred by sixteen sixty Hollered Bake Lay chival Let, Trev
Lacanis on Onnday in Fargo.
Speaker 4 (01:54:54):
Let's go through some of the scoring drives here in
this one, NDSU gets the win. We know, first core,
they got the ball to start Montana State won. They deferred,
gave INDISU the ball to start things off with, and
then the Bison took advantage of it. Cam Miller ends
up with the touchdown there and make it seven nothing,
two yard touchdown run. You had the plate garage that
we just saw the diving catch on that one. Also
(01:55:16):
had a reception on that one by Bryce Lance. They
got a first down. I thought that was a good
balance on the opening drive though of run and pass,
a couple of runs in the past, couple of runs
in the pass, and had a big cam Miller run
in there as well. He carries it six times on
an opening drive, including I got a helicoptering in helmet
comes flying off as well. But he gets the touchdown
there to start things off.
Speaker 14 (01:55:36):
Yeah, I kind of you know Camler's John Elway moment
helicoptering into the end zone. But yeah, just coach Landar
did a great job all year, I thought, just with
his play calling and just his putting his flavor to
this offense. And as there was another great great game
by him and coach Olson, just good play calls all round,
N does what N does in the National Championships.
Speaker 4 (01:55:57):
And then they forced a punt by Montana State. The
ball back, they get one first down and then you're
forced into a third and I think it was third
and four, and they completely forgot who cam Miller was
or what they were doing defensively. NDSU, again credit to
Jake Landry, not very often as NDSU go five wide.
They went five wide, empty sets, spread everyone out. Maybe
(01:56:19):
Montana State that they hadn't seen that a lot. Maybe
they didn't do that in the thirty walk tews they do, right,
We were talking about third in pregame today on buysing
game Day that I was just doing some walkthroughs here,
going through last checks, last thoughts. That was something maybe
they didn't check. They didn't have an extra conversation about
they're out of alignment. They have missed assignment or something.
Because they parted like the red Sea. It was navy
(01:56:40):
blue and on green turf, but it parted and it
was a straight shot all the way down sixty four
yards and cam Miller rushing touchdown makes it fourteen to
nothing with the extra point.
Speaker 14 (01:56:49):
Yeah, that's kind of I'm sure they'll when their coaches
put on the film. I don't know if they do
it tomorrow or whenever they get back to Bozeman. I'll
be one where I guarantee there had to have been
or someone was doing something wrong. Because a team's coached
as well as Montesa State is, and we know they're
well coached, that should never happen.
Speaker 4 (01:57:08):
Yeah, that wasn't the call that was made.
Speaker 15 (01:57:09):
No sho.
Speaker 4 (01:57:10):
Somebody didn't know what they were doing on that player
with the noise and it just didn't get relayed. Yeah,
when NDISU shifted out to an empty set and things
changed there. And that's why you do those type of things,
you know, make them communicate, force of the defense to communicate,
and you never know when that communication is going to
break down. I think another underrated drive here is Montana
State actually getting on the board. They got a field
goal from Sandsted that was good to get them, you know,
(01:57:33):
three points, but it took them eleven minutes and twenty
seconds to get those three pointsu there's three third dunk
conversions there, but there's nothing more than I think seven
or eight yards on any of the plays really made
them earn every yard in every inch in that first half,
and to give up three points after eleven total minutes
of time possession is a dream come true.
Speaker 15 (01:57:52):
Yeah, Geo's gonna be happy with that. Obviously.
Speaker 14 (01:57:54):
You never want to go up any points, but to
take up almost the entire second out of the first
card into the second core, that's a win.
Speaker 15 (01:58:01):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (01:58:01):
NDSU then gets the touch on the Bryce Lance at
the end of the first half. They go up twenty
one to three. Second half and really the third quarter.
INDIASU has had some ifty third quarters this year and
hasn't necessarily been their best quarter throughout the season. They
didn't have a great one in this one either, as
Scott Tree Humphrey gets the one yard touchdown run multiple
third down conversions from Montana State there's a third and
(01:58:23):
eight on there as well. They were able to convert
get down the field. They get the touchdown run to
make it twenty one to ten and kind of give
yourself a little bit of a game. If they had
gotten stopped there and NDSU gets the ball back on offense,
that game could have gotten ugly in a hurry, but
they got a touchdown, then they got a stop of
NDSU got the ball back quickly Timmy Mallot a deep
throw to I think it was Jones caught it like
(01:58:44):
the two yard line, got their tight end loose as well,
and then they score on a five yard run by Jones,
gets them another touchdown back on the board. They get
the two point conversion as well, make it twenty one
to eighteen at that point three point game. Montana State
scores all of the points in that third quarter and
(01:59:05):
got themselves right back into the game.
Speaker 15 (01:59:06):
Yeah. I was I was like, oh boy, here we
go U.
Speaker 4 (01:59:09):
But you all got the game we thought we were
going to.
Speaker 14 (01:59:11):
Yeah, I got Yeah, points started to get scored and
they overhit love that but uh yeah, and then offense
gets the ball back big drive.
Speaker 15 (01:59:18):
It's just.
Speaker 4 (01:59:21):
Any tense moments on the sidelines, oh for sure.
Speaker 14 (01:59:24):
Yeah, when they were starting. But Montana stage just they
seem like they just need one more play and they
like ny S would do something. They'd din't get that
play to kind of push them over the hump, because
if they got the lead, I mean, with the way.
Speaker 4 (01:59:34):
They played in that second half, they're thinking, Man, if
we just didn't a couple of plays in the first
we've done anything more in the first half. Yeah, you
know it's it's sixty minutes and they didn't have a
very good first thirty exactly. Yeah, you're gonna be kicking
yourselves right then, when you guys were part of national championships,
when you lost just games, when you lost where it's
like just this player that play, and that's you know,
the loser's laments. If I could have done this different
(01:59:55):
or that different, it just is what it is. But
they had a great third quarter, got themselves back in
the game. The Joe stuff will touchdown for NDSU. We
just played coming back a little bit ago twenty seven eighteen,
twenty eight eighteen with the extra point, big drive there
at the end of the third quarter. Going in to
the fourth quarter, very start of that one, go back
up by ten tiy a lot though, does what he does,
(02:00:16):
maybe a little bit of miss Simon for Endsu too.
On a bit of an option play. He keeps it
with Marcus Gully kind of crashing down and then a
wide open alley outside forty four yard touchdown run. That
was the one where I was like, man, they could
have scored, but that was way too quick. Lots of
time left. He gets the forty four yarder and also
the extra point back to a three point game. Yet again, Yeah,
(02:00:38):
it just once again, bon just punches being thrown.
Speaker 15 (02:00:42):
Yeah, just a surprise.
Speaker 14 (02:00:43):
Fighters, two great teams and both guys are gonna make
or both teams are gonna make plays time a lot.
You know, he showed why he got the Walter Payton.
He does some stuff on the football field that not
a lot of guys can do. But you know, at
the end of the day, and we just made enough
plays to get a win.
Speaker 4 (02:00:57):
And Bison got the ball back and ended up getting
I think it was one first down. Then they got stopped.
It was a fourth in inches and decide to you know,
punt that ball away, not go for it there in
that spot, deepen your own territory, trust your defense. Punted away,
defense ends up getting the stop that you need. And
again there's that one more play Montenna State needed. But
the Bison just make a play on defense. They just
(02:01:18):
get the stop. They just get you know, you know,
a few yards short of the first down, end up
getting the ball back. And then it was with about
seven to fifty they got the ball. They go on
a five minute drive that eats up a little over
five minutes actually on a nine play drive, I should say,
ends in a Marty Brown touchdown to go back up
by ten thirty five twenty five, which just about two
(02:01:40):
minutes left to go in the game. A little over
and give it credit again to Montenna State. They weren't
gonna go anywhere. They're gonna keep firing a lot. Threw
a lot of deep balls into the end zone that
guys weren't anywhere close to not on the same page
with his receivers, which again speaks to I think that
team not having a lot of reps in games like
that throughout the season. But he does find on a
fourth and two that they could have kicked a field goal. Yeah,
(02:02:00):
they're down ten, couldick the field goal and kind of
kept the game alive. But they were down somewhere, I
believe on like the seventeen go for it on fourth
and two and they get all of it and they
get the touchdown to Taco Dowler and right back to
a three score game or three point game.
Speaker 15 (02:02:13):
Yeah, it was just frustrating.
Speaker 14 (02:02:14):
The Shocker Rokes had a great pass rush move, but
Tommy just three step dropped back and through the fade
and made a good play on it.
Speaker 4 (02:02:20):
And they saw that one coming a little bit of
a risky one though, I was thinking field goal at
that point.
Speaker 14 (02:02:24):
Yeah, because I mean you're just basically you're putting the
game on you know that's incomplete or not.
Speaker 4 (02:02:28):
But yeah, got the touchdown, goes back to a three
point game. But NDSU then they recover the on side
kick that hit off a couple of guys. There's a
couple of missed opportunities to get it ends up falling
in the hands of of course who else the prices, Yeah,
the number right to number five, some of them finds
its way to him. He recovers the on site kick,
(02:02:49):
and then the Bison with three runs work basically all
the time off the clock. They have to punch it
away with ten seconds left, Montana State one sells up
for the block, the only thing they were looking to
get on that play. No one back to receive it
even and the clock runs out. On the walk off punt,
walk off pok off punt. I guess we're gonna call
that one. We had a walkoff blockfield block pat in
(02:03:10):
the right. Oh yeah, well the block pat And then
the last play here is and by the way, you
win this game, you stop Montana State from being the
another sixteen international champion would have joined NDSU is the
only ones in moder would have been the only two
in modern college football history. The Bison now stand alone
on that one as the only team to have done it.
And the last two losses from Montana State to the
(02:03:32):
both to the Bison once again, sixth year in the
last seven where their years ended against a Missouri Valley
Football Conference team. So NDYSU gets the win there again.
Those are our scores of the game right there, our
scoreboard throughout the game, brought to you by Jiffy Lub
of Fargo. One more break for us, we will come
back on the other side. Wrap things up for you.

Speaker 4 (02:09:00):
First score right there. NDISU never trailed International Championship game
against a team in Montana State, that never trailed all
year against an FCS team, and today the Bobcats never
led in the game. NDSU got the ball to start
things off and they went on scored. Cam Miller helicoptering in.
He had six rushers on that first drive and ends
(02:09:21):
up getting the touchdown there at the end of cap
it off. A great day for cam Miller overall in
a great career. Really appreciate him and this Bison team
throughout their in tire run. Andy Rickoff, Jake Cavey here

stuff right now what some people are, that's totally fine.
Speak now forever hold your piece. We're okay with that one.
As we wrap up our final thoughts as NDSU wins
championship number ten. Jake, You've been a part of a
lot of these ones. This one's pretty special. They're all special.
We can be prisoner of the moment, but this one
for Andy us to get back on top for your
first one. Not really as a player here, just what
(02:10:05):
overall do you think let Dy Issue get to this
point of being a national champion game throughout this entire
year and get back to the spot they hadn't been
too in two years.
Speaker 14 (02:10:14):
Yeah, I just think just you know, love the guys
had for one another, of the resiliency. I think they
got brought up by a caller who called an earlier
in the show just passion for Bison football. It'd have
been really easy for this team to you know, not
believe in you know, coach Paul Second, the staff that
he put together. That would have been the easy way
It'd have been easy to say I'm gonna go somewhere else.
(02:10:34):
I just those guys stuck together battles up Diniversity early
in the season at Eastern Tennessee game is when I
look back to that game goes another way. Does that
kind of divide the team is to break the team.
We end up winning the game, and then we just
the younger guys in the secondary got better and better
each week. Cam Miller was the best player in the
country all year long, and they just they kept getting
(02:10:56):
better and better every week every week, and eventually, you know,
in the best team in the country.
Speaker 4 (02:11:01):
Yep, and they're back on top of the FCS mountain
here in twenty twenty twenty four season twenty twenty five
National title game. We do want to thank all of
our sponsors that have helped us throughout this entire season,

Jiffy Lulvifargo for the scoreboard as well, and Hoffman Trucking
bringing you our drive of the game today during the
National Championship broadcast. I don't know what to say. We
haven't already said. Yeah, we've said this about all we
can and that's because it's been a fun season throughout.
NDSU gets another victory, it's gonna be a fun next
couple of months to see what happens here. You've been
(02:12:26):
a part of National championships, Like how quickly does it
switch over for the guys? You know, Cam's gonna go
do his own thing great like like you said, already,
they're going to try and get to the NFL and
that's the next step for them if you're a freshman
or a sophomore or junior, Like, what are the next
couple of weeks? This isn't a twenty four hour rule?
Do you get a few more days to celebrate this one?
Speaker 14 (02:12:45):
And yeah, yeah, So they'll get back and I think
classes started at four, But they'll go back and they'll
have a week off and then so it'll be next Monday,
a week from today, they'll.
Speaker 4 (02:12:53):
Be back in the weight room for winning workouts and
no national championship gear and no national just no.
Speaker 14 (02:13:00):
Seas your season not over, but that twenty twenty five
national championship, the twy twenty four season, that's over already
on to the next season.
Speaker 4 (02:13:06):
Can with the A championship gear in the locker room,
none of that's or in the weight room. Kramer's gonna
have him right back and right back trying to get
to the spot. It's we said, hard to get on top,
harder to stay on top. Andy issues gotten back on top.
It's hard to stay and everyone's gonna be hunting for
NDSU the other contenders. As we already laid out, they've
taken some steps back. They've taken some blow us here
in the offseason already. NDSU will take some as well.
(02:13:28):
Cam's not gonna be here anymore. I got to figure
out the quarterback spot. Got some offensive line spots. Three
new offensive linemen again next year, but I think we've
got plenty on the offensive line. I'm never gonna be
worried about that. You've got some pieces on the defensive line,
though that you're gonna have to replace two. There's gonna
be some different spots, some different players in key spots.
But I think we all saw today the guy who's
at the helm of it, Tim Poulisik, knows exactly what
(02:13:48):
he is doing, and this program is going nowhere.
Speaker 15 (02:13:51):
Yeah, he's running a program here.
Speaker 4 (02:13:52):
Yeah right, it's a program. We are building a program.
We're not rebuilding a team every single year that maybe
other places in the country. Thoughts from this National Championship
game or this season for Indy USU.
Speaker 14 (02:14:03):
Yeah, I'm just extreme. Thank you guys for having me.
Let me be a part of this. It's been awesome.
I'm just extremely grateful to be a Bison. It's never
a bad day to be a Bison, but days like
this are are extra special.

So if you didn't get your thoughts out today, maybe
(02:14:55):
you had to go to bed to get up for
work or something. Plenty more opportunities all week long for
you guys to get your thoughts of NDSU winning championship
number ten. Gotta thank everyone before we get off the air,
of course, to Jake, my partner in crime on this one.
Has been a pleasure having you on the broadcast as
all as well throughout the year on Bison Game Day
and Bison Hotline. Been a lot of fun. So I
appreciate you, sir for joining us this year and looking
(02:15:18):
forward to a long partnership hopefully as well having you back,
of course, to the voice of the Bison, Sam Meederman,
my partner in crime on sixteen sixty. Throughout the year,
he has got had a great year, a fun ride
for him and called the phenomenal championship game again today.
That guy puts an endless work and he is joined
by his great crew, his partner in the booth, Phil Hanson,
the Hall of Famer. He's got ten rings on his
(02:15:41):
hands for these national title games he's been a part of.
Just in the radio booth and then Noah Gendor from
the sidelines doing a phenomenal job all year. That guy
stepped into a role he had never done before. And
really passed with flying colors, Jake Beck told our great
engineer on site getting us up and running, including in
the postgame show here today at Toyota Stadium, of our
pregame stuff throughout the week, and then of course Bridget
(02:16:02):
and Kevin Kessler with the parabolic and the stats throughout
the entire year. Big thanks to them. Thanks to Roman
Porterfield or engineer back in the studio, our entire studio crew,
col Ilanimi. We've got Ian Longton who's been in there
since like ten am this morning. Nick Brendam is staying
up with us past midnight tonight producing Bison Hotline for you.
Also Sebastian Folkerson producing and cutting highlights throughout the year,
(02:16:25):
helping us back in our Bison Sports studios. Of course
to our pregame coverage hosts with Brad Jones, Ross Ouglam,
Jay Bartley who will again in contact Jay Bartley extra
donation maybe tonight. Keep some guys around for sure for
the foreseeable future. For all their preseason and pre game
coverage throughout the season, we thank them for the pregame
shows as well, and of course to all of you
(02:16:46):
the fans, we thank you. The only reason we do it.
If we didn't have fans that cared about this stuff,
called in and took this seriously, we wouldn't be doing
a two hour post game show after games. Most places
in the country, they don't. They sign off from their
broadcast and they're done, because that's just what you do.
But when you got a fan base that craves Bison
athletics the way this fan base does, it makes it
possible for us to do all of the pregame coverage
(02:17:08):
and all of the postgame coverage that we do. So
a huge thank you to the fans out there all
across Bison Nation that will do it. Another national championship,
another special season for NDSU. Signing off for the final
time here in twenty twenty four. The twenty twenty four
season capped off with another trophy here in Frisco. The

is accomplished. An NDSU champions once again, once again, the
dynasty restored and definitely still going here. Ten national titles
