La más importante es que el empleo lo crean en mayor medida las compañías en crecimiento, “en particular entre el tercer y octavo año de vida”, asevera. Otra razón que aduce es que el emprendimiento es la vía más corta para lograr alcanzar el objetivo de la independencia financiera, aunque al principio implique renunciar a un salario fijo.
“Durante muchos años cuando me comparaba con amigos que habían hecho el MBA conmigo y que estaban en empresas que pagaban muy bien, era el que tenía menos dinero, pero a poco a poco te das cuenta que la gente que toma decisiones financieras a corto plazo tiene un nivel de libertad bajísimo (...) Y a partir de los 45 tienen una situación profesional complicada, pues cuando llegas a esta edad comienzas a ser caro para las empresas comparado con alguien de 30 años”, cuenta en el podcast Bolsillo.
Carenzo imparte actualmente clases de creación de empresa en IESE Business School y acaba de publicar el libro Hablando en plata, una guía que ayuda a los emprendedores a multiplicar sus posibilidades de éxito al abrir negocios, ya sean grandes o pequeños, y persuadir a inversores.
