This is the complete story of Counting Crows - one of the most successful bands of the last three decades and their charismatic vocalist and songwriter Adam Duritz.
Counting Crows have sold 20 million albums, led by several hit singles including “Mr. Jones”, “A Long December”, and “Accidentally in Love”. Harkness chronicles the writing and recording process of all six studio albums, and how the band reimagined the songs on the road. We also get the incredible story of Adam Duritz, who survived struggles with mental health, fame, and relationships. This is the first time we find out the lost history of his upbringing, the decade he spent on the San Francisco music scene, and the real stories of the people he chronicled in his lyrics including Jennifer Anniston and Courteney Cox.
