Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer has accepted
a no jail plea deal for a vehicular manslaughter charge.
He was sentenced to one year of informal probation and
sixty days of community labor. Hemans also completed driver's safety
class and paid restitution to be determined at a later date.
Klinghoffer was allegedly distracted driving when he struck and killed

Israel Sanchez, who was walking to the grocery store in Alhaber, California,
last year. A hearing for the case in civil court
is set for July first.
