that he just doesn't listen to van Halen anymore.

Yeah, it's kind of the same thing with me and
with van Halen stuff.
Speaker 4 (00:15):
It's like, I'm really just not interested in playing it
anymore without Dad, And I know he feels the exact
same way. You know, I'll play it for fun, you know,
every now and like if Dave Grohl comes to me
and goes like, hey, you want to do.

This, It's like, yes, Dave, girl, I would like to
do that with you.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
But like overall, it's just like it's really a tough
thing for me.
Speaker 5 (00:32):
Like I just don't listen to van Halen anymore.

You know.

I understand, like that's the connection that everybody has, but
it's like, obviously my connection is a little different.

It also applies that it's also a similar feeling that
Alex van Halen has these days to the material. When
it comes to listening to van Halen after passing of
his father, he has the memories, but it's just not
as fun unfortunately.
