Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, everyone, and welcome to The Advisor. I am co
host Lisa Urbanski. Back today with a guest that I
talked to last week, and if you missed that episode,
please go back. He has a series on our channel.
His name is Hassa Molmina. He's been on a journey.
(00:23):
He lost one hundred and fifty five pounds. Crazy right.
He is training to do a bodybuilding competition. He is
the author of Captain Garuda, a tale of bravery, kindness
and a big heart. He just does all the things.
I am beyond excited to have you back on the show.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Hassan. Welcome, nice to meet you.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Yeah, nice to see you again. And before we get
started on today's topic, I just want to send a
huge shout out to our sponsors, Speaker and iHeartRadio. Without
you guys, this show would not be possible. So, Hassan,
we're going to talk today a little bit about something
that everybody is going to want to know, right, if
(01:11):
everybody is going to want to know, yes, And the
topic is how to travel around the world without spending
much money.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Wow, there is a word for author. He said, from
a long time ago, loving homeland, part of faith. Before
I had the question in my mind, this word from
one hundred years ago. He said how the person loved
(01:44):
his homeland and how the homeland came after I found
the answer, and then I realized that I made a
huge mistake. That when we traveled in any place, why
we spend too much money and we don't enjoy. Let
me give an example the meaning of this word or
(02:09):
the answer for this word, that how can I love,
for example, my prison homeland if I don't expect their people?
This is the key. Like let me give an example
our truants Snagger, he's Australian, Austrian from the beginning, but
he loved to move America into America, and he wanted
(02:30):
to be American when he moved there. I remember when
he used to talk about himself and the TV. He
have nothing, you have no pillow, no radio. His friends
in the journey voted for him like he spaid nothing,
and he became later a rich guy. So how from
(02:51):
a guy like that log guy? Because attitude like the
thing which our parents, why they teach us to be respectable,
to take the to accept any the things which is simple,
for example, or too or anything we presented, we must
(03:11):
present it with attitude, like for example, why people don't
like to have a gift sometimes these day because they
give it by badly way. So people don't want if
there's just one respect, they don't want money. And this
is a reality. Any sometimes when you go to country uh,
and you're a stranger guy, but you get shocked at
(03:34):
or everybody get chucked you when you're back again, that
he looks like Anny, a local person. Yanny, you don't
use a taxi, use public transportation like any regular person.
Even the regal people sometimes they don't use it. But
how he learned that because his attitude protect him, like
for example, when a lot of furs when they go
(03:55):
to Egypt, a lot of turst gets scammed like me also,
but if by that time, if you have really a
good attitude, you will get protection from the scabs. And
this is the reality. And even sometimes when I've been
to Dubai for the first time or sorry from long
time ago. Last year, attend the book fair in Chargia.
(04:19):
After the book fair, I was really hungry. Almost night,
I've been resturance called Celeraco. It's Indonesia's runt. I just
ordered fried rice is stayed. The price is thirty five
I will make it twenty five. It means from like
almost ten dollars to something to less than that amount.
So why he reduced the person without any meaning? Because
(04:40):
the attitudes the same thing everything in life, and people
could not ask you money because you're a respectable guy,
nice intel mine and this never That's why a lot
of tell me.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Is it because of the energy that you're giving to them.
They can feel your energy. I always say, simplify things,
be super authentic, be friendly, treat people well. What you
give out is what you're going to get back. Do
you think that's what it is.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Exactly? Let me give an example. When I've been, for example,
to do buy how much I spent for each day,
like just a small amount of money, and I have
lots of fun. I bought a lot of gifts an example.
And I hear lots of people when they go to buy,
for example, they spend a lot lots of money and
they don't enjoy because you can get what if what
(05:35):
you want the same thing but different price.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
And also yeah, even if you could be respectable in
the high level, it could be respectable on a lower level.
But all this it will have the same if you
are a respectable guy, nice, and you will get whatever
you want and enjoy because I know no matter you
have money, there is one stomach and one person to
it's who have that money. He cannot eat more, he
(06:03):
will kill himself the same again yeah yeah uh. And
even that. To continue the idea, any if you are
like a nice gentle man, respectable guy with good attitude,
any place you go around the world is your homeland,
so will become in your homeland. This is the whole idea.
(06:25):
That's why Yanny I respect because after he I uh,
what he got from the people of California, you want
to attend it back. So he became the governor to
help the people of California to rebuild the infrastruction. And
this is good, I expect, this is a good opinion.
(06:47):
This is something good. And he took the leadership of
California within the time it was the state almost to
become broken and became the Golden State again. And this
is a true life story. And I believe this has
happened with everyone. Yanny. If you are Annie, if you
want to give back, I think it should be but
(07:09):
also it should you should be a gift back. But
no one have to tell you have to do it
by yourself, and you have to know what's the best
way to give it back, not exactly to be like
a governor, but any other way. And everybody will understood that.
And I believe that.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
I believe everybody has a gift. I believe every single
person has a gift and contributes to society in different ways. Right,
And if people understood what their gift was and and
actually followed their true path, I think life would look
a lot different for a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Let me try to give an example. Unfo shuldly the
country which I live in, it in Saudi Arabia. We
have a big problem. Uh it's it's like it should
be like United country. But even inside the country we
have a problem with races. And even inside the races
(08:12):
from the same part family, he could fight for each other.
And he said no, because you speak this uh mistake
in the accent. No, you are not a fure hundreds
so do you are? This is an idiot. This is
two idiots. And there's been a lot of Sadists. They
are already the Saudis born from Saudi mother and father,
and they believe it should not be Saudi because they speak,
(08:34):
for example, good English. You don't speak one hundred percent
perfect target. No, it's not the meaning. Yeah, you cannot
cancel the identity. That's crazy, but it's kind of bullying.
Bullying is the guy who bully on the others don't
deserve to have a homeland in any country because no
matter he go, you will never be happy, you will
(08:54):
never enjoy.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
I agree with you. Think why do you think people bully?
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Uh, it's failing or is feeling inside that he is
a failure, like.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
The naysays their projective inside exactly onto other people exactly
what I can exactly.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Let me give an example. I have a company in Dubai.
It's an education company. We provide training for the people
who want to go for immigration outside to get job opportunity.
Because most the common people who want to go immigration,
they don't have good skills, they don't have nothing, They
don't have any knowledge about immigration or going outside, so
(09:42):
they cannot go. So in our company we provide these services.
The first step opportunately to bring people. A lot of
phone calls will receive it. But even when the calling
asking they are too negative, Okay, just come for the
just come. It's a free event. Come and little we
(10:03):
discuss if it's right or wrong. It's not in another country,
it's inside your city. Don't worry. No, no, no, to
much negative. No, this is not the right way. The
chicken will not come to you to eat it in
your bed. You have to go to buy it at least,
at least to go to the grocery. And he and reality.
I didn't ask you to work to bite. I just
(10:23):
asked you to bite. It's a good grocery. You have
the money. Just come and he don't want you want
to come to the bed. No, it's not like that.
So this negative thinking, when he too much negative, what
can happen? He will feel he's a failure. So when
you see his knee a nearby friend, which he feel
that he's more failure. He become successful. He bullyed him.
(10:47):
But he's that feeling this reality. So that's yeah, that
I know the devil. When he may make someone to
hurt his brother or or whatever, his neighbor or so on,
or his sister, that's because too much negative. He said
no in the beginning, before the negative, he said, you
(11:10):
have all what you needs. Stopped working. Relax. I know
relax is good, but we have to continue working later
because it's part of our part of our humanity to work.
But after that he become he failed, couples, failing because
he don't do anything. And then he looked at the
(11:31):
others what they achieved. And after a long time from
the achieving and doing nothing in his chair, he become jealous,
and then he become bullies and others. He said, why
he like that, we deserve more. No, its not like that.
(11:51):
Some people in the competitions like Olympics. You see some
people they looks like now they will never win like that,
but they did all the best work hards. So usually
they say do your best, let God do the rest.
So you could see I love them. I love that
unusual happened. Something the unusual happened in the competition is uncommon.
(12:12):
It's unbelievable. Something like for the winners or we don't know,
is like from the god. And then this guy who
take care for every time, for every time he invests
all his time, win he win the competition, and it
was unexpectable. And this reality always happened the Olympics. New
(12:33):
athletes in Olympics from unknown countries or countries didn't achieve anything.
He achieved or she or she achieved the Golden Middle,
like what happened for Philippine, the first Golden Middle in
the history of Olympics in twenty twenty two. Yes, sorry, the.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Universe delivers what we deserve, right, what we put out there,
they give it back. And you know those people you're
talking about that are like Jelou send their bullies. I
always like trying to send them love and try and
like give them like because they're hurting inside. Right, I
almost feel really bad for those.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
People the same thing. To be honest with you, Annie,
think about what's what's we're gonna lose if we tried
at least let's say we have nothing to do, just
do something better than nothing. Annie. I have a friend Marchella.
(13:29):
He's thinking positively. Uh, he's working like in Uber. He said,
it's not my job, but better than nothing. So what's
your job? Jobless? Okay, it's good. This is positive thinking.
And by the time he started collecting the money from
Ober and then he start he got married for the
(13:51):
first time and then he started his own business from
the money which he collected from Ober. Because he don't
spend all the time delivering people. He spent time for
his dreams and achieve it. And he said, I love
to be jobless. Jobless is a pre man do whatever
he wants. I like this thinking it's good. So it's
(14:12):
okay if you be pobless and it's not a problem.
At least you do something and you feel it's good
for you.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
Absolutely, absolutely it is good for you. So tell us more.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Let me give an example. Imagine when you want to
go for a holiday, for example, to Egypt, you need
for example, airline ticket is the first step. First you
need flights. So I think now with the technology, with
a lot of opportunities, you don't need to get that job.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
You can just work and delivering food or delivering people
by a car. If you have a car, and after
you collect this amount for the ticket, you have some
hotels you can enjoy for holiday whatever you want.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Plus you could have job opportunity. Likely give an example,
uh for someone Sometimes you give an advice. If you
have B one, B two visa to your say it's
a tirst visa, you can have a job or the
interview and get job opportunity. There an example, and even
some people when they go let's say for Americans who
(15:23):
want to go to another country, but they don't want
to spend money. They don't because they don't have pocket.
So there are so many applications. It's like I think
I forget then application. But the idea is to find
a job opportunity to offer for them in this app
in this country for this family, like teaching English, work
(15:44):
in a farm, work in a hotel like that, and
you get money. Plus your accommodation will be free, so
you don't need to spread anythin. You just need to
spend your ticket. That's it.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
A lot of people they go like that. Plus you
will not be alone, you will be with the people,
so not much. Plus I get free body. So why
is it that? But this is reality and it's acceptable.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
The same thing like when I go to Indonesia sometimes
because my wife Indonesia, I go to schools to teach
a bit language and sometimes I if I have opportunities
to teach fitness like that, and then I go home
like that. I enjoy this reality.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Simplify, right, like simplify.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
A lot of people from Germany from Deutschland like that,
or you can says Netherland they left the Netherland or
Germany and they moved to Indonesia. They create a residence
cart there it's easy, and then they stay there as
a teacher. They teach as are freelancers and some of
them they do freelancing job like designers, online jobs, remote jobs.
(16:54):
So that's why they don't need to stay in Netherland
or whatever. So that's why they can stay there and
enjoy their life, have a holidays, slis spending and so
many people they do like that, and some of them
they get married from there and they are wonderful life.
Why not everybody do that? Imagine like when you watch
(17:16):
the Pokemon why it was so trendy because it makes
you feel to go outside and discover the world and
traveling the same things. You can't do it in the reality.
By the more jokes like that, and your good personality
is enough to get a lot of opportunities. The English
(17:38):
teachers the same thing which teachers English teachers. English teachers
like so many English teachers from America. When you have
already their licensed to teach English, they go they got
a lot of countries as a tourist and they work
as a teacher. From what they collect, they spend it
(18:00):
for their day and they enjoy with their family, they
stay like one two, three months and enjoying back again
if they want the same thing with everybody. This is
how to travel. Imagine it's a journey, like to do
a lot of things. Yeah, and you can work, you
can and you can have a leisure. But of course
(18:21):
when you travel alone, it can have all the time
leisure because you could feel boring, so you need to
do something. So it's okay to discover new friends and
now a lot a lot of applications. It can like
if we go, for example, to country and you need
someone with you, or if you wan't like to discover new.
Speaker 5 (18:42):
Groups for bowling, for badminton, for football, and you go
with them and enjoy like meetup like a lot a
lot of apps, not only meetups, even their apps in Asia,
Southeast Asia, you can discover a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
Yeah, we just went to max Ago on a vacation
and we made friends with so many people. It was
so much fun. What's your what's your favorite vacation? Where
have you been a song?
Speaker 2 (19:11):
Uh? Indonesia of course yeah, my uh my wife Homeland
because if we answer to you, we don't spend that
much our our family there, so most of the time.
We're going with him, like because let's see, uh, my
wife family. They're from the top of society. The governors
(19:35):
that are from in the parliament are politicians. So that's
why we don't need to spend that much. We go
with them. They just call us, come with us. It's
enjoy together. That's it. That's what we do. So we
don't say that much. Even if you go by yourself,
maybe you didn't need to spend that much. You can
use all the transportation easily. But any way, we didn't
(19:58):
spend that much because we have our family there. That's
why we can enjoy. Jenny, let me answer with you,
what's the benefit of going a holiday I'll not enjoy?
This is the point, uh, making a holiday like a
new home for you. It's possible creating like a homeland
(20:21):
by only expecting the people. Let's it have a good attitude.
This thing which our planners, which they used to teach
us from the beginning. It was not just important for
school or for what it's for everything in life, even
for going to heaven. That's why love and homeland is.
Faith is faith because it's coming from a complex of things. Jenny,
(20:46):
that's it.
Speaker 6 (20:49):
Wow, yeah, uh, this is the whole idea. How we
travel up broad to without spending that much.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
Yeah, I love that. I love that so many people
travel and spend so much money. And I love how
you just simplify things for everyone and you're about the
simple things and like giving positivity, you're going to get positivity.
Those things are so important. Hasan.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Yeah. Even the people when they apply, for example, for
US visa, they look at for their attitude. They don't
they don't focus in the bank state and you could
have a huge amount, but their attitude looks like he's
you don't have a goal, why you want to go
and looks like a robotic answer looks weird, So they
reject his visa whatever he wants, whatever new situation. But
(21:49):
because this is reality, and you will not go to
make a trouble, so you will go for something specific.
Like when I ask him that, when they said them,
I said, my stepmother is America. I just go for
this holidayification exactly, clear answer, and then give me the
visa without even asking back statements right, and usually they asked,
(22:09):
but they didn't ask me. They didn't check this s
it approved directly in less than five minutes. Yeah, this
will happen usually mhm. Even the same thing. Usually when
you apply for a job or for scholarship, they must
make for you interview if you're attitude, But of course
(22:30):
you not get the job, opportunity or even a scholarship.
Everything about the personality, even for getting married, have discover
new love, have a girlfriend, or get of yance or
the other part. Without personality, without building yourself your skills,
(22:53):
you will never achieve anything. Now, for surely, I see
a lot of people when they graduate from universe, see
they never get married because their personality is really bad.
It looks like a yanny freak something like.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
That, right, yeah, so why do you think that is?
Speaker 2 (23:19):
I think maybe let me get an example before. I
remember when I used to be a kid in school.
Most parents in my school and our schools, they used
to say for their kids, if you didn't be a
doctor or engineer, you will never be a human being
or not our son wow, when he was just a
small full degree half of the degree. Yeah, their parents
(23:44):
waiting for him to get the slab, give him a slap.
So that's why he built a poob yeah, and destroy
his personality. So when you ask him, uh, in the
last year of the high school. What you would like
to be, say, doctor or engineer, to be a human being?
That's it. Okay, what do you want to be a doctor? For? What?
(24:05):
A doctor? There a lot of things in doctor? You
want to be a dentists you want to be I
don't I just want to be a doctor. Okay, this
is okay, Jimmy, what do you want to do? I
don't know. Just engineer, that's it. That's the kill person.
That's any like what a zombie like? You can't say,
you cannot work. And even when he graduated from university
(24:26):
as a doctor or engineer, he cannot get any opportunity
because even he don't have any personality how to apply
it the first steps. That's why a lot of the
local governments try to recruit them because they tried to
help them, but efficiently, because the basic is this principle starts.
(24:49):
So the effect for the work, it was worse when
someone has a personality at work, one person, everybody become
jealous and the same environment in school, optunately, you see
it at work, bullying and on like that and so
many things. But the same thing in the work at
(25:10):
work exactly. Yeah, and he thinks it's not professional. But
this always happened even sometimes you see in coffee shops too.
Buts they they could fight because one of them they
don't have but personality.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
Right, yeah, exactly exactly. You're so smart, You're so yeah,
you're so smart. Thank you for all of your amazing tips.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
Sorry, but it's a kid.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
Yes, yes, Hassan. Can you tell everybody about the book
that you wrote and why you wrote it, what it's about,
where we can find it?
Speaker 2 (25:48):
Uh? When I wrote this book before I start wroting,
it was just an idea before I still love the
super comics books like a kid's Superman, but man, I
wish to create a superhero uh and put it like
a like a touch from my life personality. Ah. So
(26:10):
the whole book is talking about a big man in Indonesia,
a bipolar, bicky man. Usually the bipolar most of them.
They have amazing personality. So usually the extra press nobody,
when nobody bits, they give it for orphan house. Usually
the prets when they presented in Indonesia is like a
(26:31):
luxury something amazing, especially for orphans is amazing, especially when
he packages when hearts when he ordered the stuff with
chocolate with so many things with some hot DAGs or
like in the sandwiches. That's incredible for the kids. Uh.
And I tried to describe that because a Nicholas he
(26:53):
wear its. Uh. Then Nicholas, he got it from an
old lady. He used to help her to reach it
up in the mountain. She's so she gave him a reward.
The reward which she give it to him is like,
you know, the most successful guys in the world because
the good personality and someone a stranger that's stranger, he
(27:14):
don't know him, but he's a famous guy or rich
guy or no guy in this community. It gives him
this reward. So that's what it gives him. The Nicholas
give him a wink to fly the trust that the
trust exactly the trust. When you have a trust is
part of a good attitude. The trust make all the
(27:36):
gates open for everything. That Yanny could have a business,
you could spend a lot of money, but why doesn't
see because the trust doesn't build. So you have to
focus in anything in your life, whatever business or going
outside or getting married, to build the trust with the
other part to be successful. Now these days, the trust
(27:58):
looks like Yanny uncommon or like a rare things in
the world, like a diamond or something more value than
the diamond is something, it's become more rare. The person
who have a trust you and who know how to
act right by the right way, because everybody lost their
(28:21):
faith in gods and that's why they could do anything
for collecting anything. That's why I building that trust is
not that easy. So that's what's the whole idea. And
also when he get that decklust of power, they're also
bad guys. This is what happened every day in our
reality life. When you get something because your trust, you
(28:42):
will get also enemies. Like the same stories in Spider Man,
he didn't have any enemies. You just have bullies around him.
When you get the power, you got great enemies one
by one, one by one. Within the stories of the Superman,
no matter we see parts, we see crazy enemies. This
(29:04):
is the same thing in our reality life. It's like
a serious yet to be honest with you, a whole
life is a movie. There is a script threatened by
the god. We just live the script. That's it. We
cannot treat it. When we know the script. When it's
done us, we will sit in the history. But you
cannot see a book about the history from the future.
(29:26):
Cannot be history is finished. You're right, hm, So I
just lived the moment and trusting God because if you
did the right thing, the God will give you the
best thing you wish in your life, no matter what
it was. Just do the right thing. If you do it,
(29:47):
you will take it. Don't worry. That's like, I don't
think too much about the future when you should think
about the future at the end of the day the
whole day, focus about yourself, your daily task, and at
the end of the day it's okay to think about
the future, to fix about your mistakes like that. That's it.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
Yeah, focusing on living in the moment is so important
and so many people, so many people get caught up
in worrying about the next hour even and it's powerful
if you can stay living minute to minute and being
grateful for everything and focusing. People have a hard time
(30:29):
focusing now on tasks because their mind is thinking ten
days ahead. Right, So, yeah, the importance is staying in
the moment and being you know, worrying about the things later.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
I'll tell you something I remember there were it like
a Palestinian guy used to live with us in Indonesia.
I told him, brother, I know you lost your land
one day, but this is your home land. This is
your new home bland. Don't worry about it that God
gives you something, that God gives you a bitter people.
(31:07):
It's okay. You are happy now with us. You have everything,
you don't need anything in your life.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
I love that.
Speaker 7 (31:15):
I love that, like what the people took from you. Okay, yeah, yeah, exactly, exactly.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
Amazing, Hathan. It has been an amazing time with you. Today.
We're almost at a time. Would you tell all of
our our audience where they can find you, where they
can find your book.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
They can't find it in all bookstores like Amazon, like Walmart, eBay,
and even if they would like to go to offline bookstores,
they can't find it in most US bookstores. And it's
available worldwide.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Wow, okay, perfect, So we'll have that in the show
notes for everyone so they can have easy access to
find your book. And then what is the Captain Garuda channel?
Speaker 2 (32:09):
Uh? You can't search Captain Garuda Indonesia and YouTube, or
you can just buye Captain Garuda and Google search. It
can find me easily.
