What if a simple bowl of soup, daily movement, and shared meals could help you reclaim your mind—and your life?

Host Lisa Urbanski sits down with Hassan Moaminah to explore a practical path out of pornography addiction—using healthy coping, community, and discipline. Hassan shares how a calming “soup ritual,” consistent exercise, better sleep, and real-world connection helped him trade escapism for purpose. They also dive into his upcoming short film on his Mr. Olympia competition journey (natural) and his new app designed to support mindset, training, and recovery. In this episode, you’ll learn how to:
  • Identify stress and loneliness triggers that fuel compulsive behavior
  • Use a nightly soup routine to calm cravings and reset the nervous system
  • Pair movement + sleep + accountability to rebuild self-control
  • Replace shame with community and shared meals for real belonging
  • Set purpose-driven goals (like a competition or creative project) to stay focused

On today's episode, he is going to be talking about
the cure for pornographic addiction and he's got some exciting news.
On Sunday, August seventeenth, twenty twenty five, which is Indonesian
Independence Day, he is releasing his first short movie and
I'm excited to hear about it. It is really good

(01:13):
to see you. Welcome back to the show.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Nice meet you.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yes, how are you doing today?

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Feeling much better today? My kid's birthday, nadanasis born in
fourteen focused and we finished celebrating because I was like
a twelve PM. I think everybody that he went to sleep.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Yes, exactly, you have twins. I found out today you
have twins.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Yeah, boy and girl.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Wow, beautiful you have a beautiful family.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Sorry, yeah, So what are you talking about today? We're
talking about the cure for pornographic addiction, and so why
is this important to you? Why is this an important topic.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Let's me answer with you. I'm one of the people
who used to watch the pornography move films. Let me
answer with you. All of us we had a bad experience.
And let me answer to you that things doesn't make
sense any when the people have good lifestyle, money and everything.

(02:28):
So why they don't try to enjoy most families or
they don't take the life easily. They take it too seriously.
That's why the kids could have a bad childhood. Like
if you watch the film or the animation series Dinnis
the Minutes of the nineteen ninety six this is one
of the most common animation why because it show you

(02:52):
that those kids Dinnis and his friends take the life
easily and the adults don't want to take it that
that's why the kidstress all the time. It become crazy
adventures like the night bath and these crazy things. Then
and if they finally explained it by simple way for them,
accepted and you will go to the bad but hate

(03:15):
it because the way when they present the bad and
so on, that's why too much is stress. Unfortunately, we
discovered the pornography as a way to put our energy.
Like imagine when you have Usually when we wake up
in the morning, we have dopamine and also court this

(03:37):
all and that's happened in the morning after the sunshine
because to wake up and make some workout or any
daily activity. But when it's happened at night is really bad.
We cannot have a good quality sleep. To be answered
to you, from my experience for losing weight to our
body building, I still I was facing that problem from

(03:59):
long time ago, but I promised my wife to quit
from that. I have delighted it. Why let me answer
with you every time I tried to quit, I try
to control, try to control, but the lifestyle work dealing
with stressful customer. Sometimes every time in a month we

(04:22):
have fighting at home because that's none for women's to happen.
I must handle with that. I have fight with my brother,
my sisters, especially in the family meetings. All these things
make a stress on me. Or when somebody say if
works in the street, that's affected. So that's why sometimes
I get back to this really bad habit. But until

(04:44):
one day, I was feeling that. One night, I just
want to eat, but I don't want to eat like
usual routine, a proutine or so also a yogurt. That's
why I tried to say something else. I try to
make a noodle soup with chicken stock like that, and
I tried to crack an egg with some spices, and

(05:05):
then I tried to drink it. I was feeling much better.
Then I tried to add a spicy sauce of hot
sauce we call it somebody in Indonesia, and then I
feeling better. I felt like it's sweeting. And then I
I laid the couch next to my wife, start feeling comfort,
and then I start feeling sleep. And then I waited

(05:27):
a bit to sleep, and finally I had a long
long dreams, but in a short period of time. Usually
when I have these kind dreams, maybe saying one or
two or three days, but just spent five hours sleeping
and then I woke up comfort well. I couldn't believe that, Yanny,
I waited a deep sleep too early, but it was

(05:49):
good sign. It was a good sign, and I feel comfortable.
Finally I can recover. I recovered. Then I back to
the gym. I know it's not a quick solution, but
it was a key to start quitting. Until finally in
the last steps from a couple of months, when I
quit it, I feel that when I try to back

(06:11):
to that bad habit, all the bad memories, it's back
again by something as a nightmare, and then I don't
want again. I don't want to see that again. Then
I quit it forever. Now finally I back to normal lifestyle.
I stay with my kids watching movies, Loony Toons, animation

(06:33):
at house in the TV. We play together, sometimes we
play puzzles. Finally I feel as a human being again.
I couldn't believe that, but now maybe because I just
have a little sens because still my sugar is low,
my blood streaming. That's why now I add the carbo
in my in my my soap as a little soap

(06:56):
or pasta soap like that. So when I saw it,
it reduced the anxiety. So I don't need anymore to
watch this thing. And also it made me control my
feelings and my emotions and what they want exactly. And
this is the key for how to stop the pornographic

(07:20):
but of course not coming with this, but it's in stages,
but faster than before and easier.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
I know that.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
I used to watch it. I used to watch it,
and I would watch it because it was, like you said,
it was a stress reliever when I wasn't able to
process the emotions in my body and when I wasn't
looking after myself properly. So I used to watch it
all the time, and it was like this quick fix

(07:51):
that made me feel shitty after, like it didn't make
me feel good after. So I also don't watch it
any more, and I found I'm just able to regulate
my body on my own and I don't need that.
It puts something in our brains that is not good

(08:12):
for us, and it causes people to feel shame.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
It'd be answer with you even now when I try
to think about it, I was thinking about how shame
on me when I was watching this thing any any
without thinking I was supporting things is not right, like
people who dealing with purchasing women's like that. That's why

(08:40):
I say, thank God, I stop this thing. Let me
answer with you. It was one of the hardest moments.
I cannot believe that. I don't want to talk about that.
You think, Yeah, and because it's when we feel why
feels youre because it's dealing with things it hurt others.
That's why I wish got one day to stop this thing.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Absolutely, And I'm sure your wife feels a lot better
knowing that you don't want it anymore.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
I know that. And plus now she's more happy because
I can't control my mind, my emotions even when she
is stressed. Sometimes I can handle that and take it easy.
It wasn't easy before. It was really hard. And I
believe that most mens they have these problems. They cannot

(09:33):
control their emotions and sometimes they go to other bad habits.
That's why I believe that it's good to handle liquids.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah, men are visual men. Men like the visuals.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
Right to be honest with you, why these things In
a scientifically way, it's bad because when any problem in
the big listners system, it's a fit for the whole body,
for the entire body, for sleeping, for the central nerve system,
almost everything, even your heart rate will not be in

(10:05):
the right way. The second thing that when you drink
the hot soup, it reduce your ability for eating, like
for example, for people who want to lose even weight,
drinking soup first will make the ability for eating is less,
can be can control the emotions, especially when they have

(10:27):
any four months related about eating too much. It reduces
Also it make like a comfort feeling and also increase
the net veigus nerve system ability to be activated much
better and also make a comfort for the stomach and

(10:49):
give a sign for peace and comfort for the whole
body and really searching for the quick fund or the
for the ability for why we want to I want
to make fun and also that the good thing about Yeah,
we can connect drinking soup for the mind fullness technique

(11:11):
like eating and with thinking, do you brethink and attention
for the body signs that there's a sign if you
be careful, there's wanting here and so on.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Yeah, so what are those signs? What are some things
to look out for.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Like how to use the soup?

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, like when do you know that you should have.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
It when you for example, when you have a stress,
this is the first sign you should take a soup.
Mm hmm. Like let me give an example. When you
choose the soup, for example, try to choose something contain pages,
some easy frost proutein like egg like things and it

(12:03):
can be and the body digested fast and some like
it's stock like if you are vegan, you can use stock.
If you are meat love you can use chicken stock
or be support from no matter the problem whither, there
is no problem for that. When you drink kids or
you eat it, try to eat it slowly with focusing

(12:25):
for the like putting stuff. When you eat, try to
eat it is slow, focusing in the taste and the
heats so you can enjoy. And the last thing, make
it as a daily routine at night, especially or when
you have or when you have any emotional pressure or

(12:47):
anything or any weaknesses in your body. Try to use
it before that weakness so you don't back to the
bad habit, because when you reach to the weakness point
of your of your situation, mostly you're back without thinking
to your betters and the good thing that uh so

(13:08):
doesn't real yny fix the problem with uh pornography problem.
Also it increased the ability at night for have a
beauty a wonderful night with your your wife or in
general or with your husband. But we have to use

(13:31):
it as a full plan, asss a full plan for
the sport, keep sleeping and social sports to be a
successful treatment. And you have to use it all in
a full in a full complete plan.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Yeah, I feel like it's like having tea, right, It's
it's better when you're having tea with property.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Yeah, like a cup of teams in England, do you love?
That's why they love drinking tea because they.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Want to right but bring people together.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
But let's be honest with you. Before drinking tea, people
in England used to drink hot chocolates and he has
a different before I mentioned in Cooking Live show how
to make the English hot chocolates. But I with my
own cazine proutine.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Oh nice, Yeah that sounds really good.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
But quick fast. You should drink it in a seed
with some muffins or sandwiches or English cake and have
a discussion with your friends to be enjoyable moments. This
is what they call it for English tea parties. I
still love it because it gives like the family or

(14:57):
they can it can make you so sheialized person.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Mm hmm. Yeah. Food brings people to the table, that's
for sure.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
Well that's but sometimes let's me answer with you, people
who attend live streaming that we answer to you, it's
really bad. I think it's better to attend an offline streaming.
You need to not streaming, but to be in reality
eating with others and enjoy, not to just watch watching

(15:29):
for what when he eats and this sound is disgusting.
Let me answer with you, I hate to use it.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
H Yeah, a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
We need to normalize.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Eating together again and the importance of that, because you're right,
we're not socializing life streaming.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
But at least have your own food and be live
everybody see each other and discuss. I think this maybe
much better at maybe if we are far away, but
the offline prepared until now. I still love the offline.
Offline make us feel that the technology has been removed

(16:12):
and back to our normal life.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, for sure, Hassan. Tell us about your new movie
that's coming out.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Uh, it's a short movie. I was talking about in
four minutes about my feeling for the journey of mister Olympia.
Right now, I'm trying to get the pro card. But
it's I. You know, imagine if you are stuck in
Mars because your spaceship has been crushed, and also you

(16:43):
lost your lick because of the accident, and you have
to replay your lick alone and you have to survive
and fix the ship to come back to Earth. It's
like a creation. So imit similarity, This mission to back
to Earth is like the mission of beach in mister Olyppia,

(17:03):
natural without using steroid or things like that, something like
like a crazy so I without speaking because Peach, I
put just my feeling by workout. And most people who
watched the movie before both publishing, they get crying. Even
my son, he was crying because it's just saw some clips.

(17:26):
He said, Bob, don't go to space. You're gonna die.
It's said Sun, It's just a movie. It's not really crying.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
It's coming out on Sunday.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Sunday. After I finished it yesterday, I couldn't sleep well.
It was made me really emotional. All the bad memories
I memorize it again, but without thinking, I was just
workout and that's it. Never think about what's what I did.
But when I saw it from upstairs, it was crazy.

(18:00):
I cried because that's really it happened to me.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
How about the people who are gonna watch it? What
a they're gonna feel?

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Mm hm.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
So I just need to take before I is to
post clips my own songs. But in that year, but
after that, I saw the people get boring too much.
Song is a bad idea. I must make a switch
for the long format videos with my different idea. I
keep it motivational, but I just make it short films

(18:35):
because I still want to be one day film actor.
Like I'm not sure Snagger because I get inspired from
him from a long time ago. Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
Yeah, that beautiful. Well, I look forward to seeing it.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Again.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Say, I look forward to seeing it.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
In Charlotte's gonna be Sunday. Sunday like in Jakarta time
zone beat t Am, I don't know in New York
wants what's going to be maybe to be the day
before me like Tay sixteen at night on the morning.
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
If you be anest with you, yes, we are our time.
We're definitely at different time zones.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
But yeah, I'm excited for it and I think that's
amazing that you're sharing those deep feelings and sharing so
much with the world about your experience and to help people.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
It's really amazing.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Thank you, And that is one thing I would like
to mention for everybody. There is no a magic solution
in life or immediate solution whatever. If you used any
like psychological treatment or therapist or even a time therapist,

(19:59):
massage or anything. Think you need to give your body
time to recover. Even the pink color when you use
it while it's a pinkler, but still need time to
to be activated. They need everything. That's why be patient
for what you want in your life and one day

(20:19):
gonna cry for the amazing things which achieve it better
than have a fake smile, because that client is gonna
be mixed with happiness like most athletes happen with them
in any Olympics or any competition.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Mm hmm hassan, where can people find more about phone?
To find out more about you?

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Uh, They're gonna find me in my in my new app.
I launched it before a couple of months and plus
I have made something amazing for all my audience to
use the code Girluda for t P time instead of
paying five dollars one time, purchasing for the program is
going to be free, no need to charge. Just use

(21:07):
the word Uddha and capitalisters as then you mentioned in
the description.

Speaker 2 (21:13):

Speaker 1 (21:15):

a real thing and a lot of people are struggling
