"Subito questo sondaggio mi è sembrato come quacosa di mancante. Credo che sia un progetto che può fare emergere quello che non si vede. Ad esempio in questi giorni, mentre mi muovo per la città, mi sto accorgendo che ci sono una quantità di ciclisti incredibile, il numero di chi si sposta in bici è esploso! E se solo noi riuscissimo a far fare il questionario a un decimo di queste decine di miglaia di persone da noi e in altre città ,avremmo una grandissima testimonianza del fatto che le persone vogliono città diverse e meno inquinate. E non c’è un mezzo migliore della bici per risolvere il problema.Fondamentale rendere chi amministra una città più consapevole e informato di quelle che sono le criticità e le potenzialità di miglioramento. Perché il fatto di vedere in anno in anno ciò che pensano i cittaidini credo sia una molla importante per favorire le amministrazioni." - Anna Gerometta, Cittadini per l'Aria Onlus
"Ci troviamo in una situazione paradossala di totale carenza di dati sui veicoli non motorizzati. Sappiamo tutto di veicoli a motore: quanti sono, chi guida, che motorizzazione hanno, quanto pesano. Però quando passiamo alle biciclette non sappiamo assolutamente nulla. Se oggi qualcuno provasse a rispondere alla domanda: "Quante biciclette ci sono nella mia città?" Boh?Abbiamo tante iniziative di monitoriaggio, tentativi di analizzare cosa pensano le persone . Molti nascono in ambienti universitari, spesso prodotto di una tesi, si fa circolare un link, però finita la tesi, finisce il monitoraggio. Dall’altro lato ci sono indagini più strutturate che perà tendono ad essere molto vicine alle amministrazioni, non perché sia male, ma perdi quella capacità di incidere portando anche dei dati scomodi, che servono. Spero davvero che questo progetto continuerà per due o tre edizioni." - Marco Mazzei, consigliere del Comune di Milano
