SPEAKER_04 (00:00):
Oh, hallelujah.
I'd like for us to all stand andgive the Lord some praise here
tonight.
Hallelujah.
Father, we do thank you forthose mountains of mercy, those
oceans of grace.
Thank you for your preciousblood that covers our sins
tonight.
Thankful for a privilege topreach your word.
And oh, Lord, we thank you forthe joy of the Lord that is
(00:24):
higher, better than any otherthing we know.
Oh, thank you, Jesus.
Hallelujah, hallelujah,hallelujah.
Lord, I do praise you tonight.
I worship you and I glorify yourwonderful name tonight.
Thank you, Jesus.
Thank you, Jesus.
Thank you, Jesus.
(00:45):
Oh, hallelujah.
While the choir was singing thatsong, my mind went to the 136th
Psalm.
I double-checked in thatfellow's little Bible.
I can hardly see to make sure Iwas correct on the psalm, but
every verse ends and his mercyendureth forever.
And then the Bible says in thebook of Titus, for the grace of
(01:08):
God that bringeth salvation hathappeared unto all men, teaching
us that denying ungodliness andworldly lust, we should live
soberly and righteously andgodly in this present world,
looking for that blessed hopeand the glorious appearing of
our great God and Savior.
You know, Jesus is coming.
(01:30):
And all of these problems thatare taking place, brother and
sister Wakely, glad to see youhere, but all those problems has
taken place over there right nowin that Gaza Strip and in
Israel.
It's all fulfillment of the wordof God.
And one of these days, I don'tknow when, but coming down from
(01:51):
the north side, is the bearcoming over the mountain, Russia
and uh Iran, who's furnishingthem all these missiles that
they're firing over into Israel,they don't realize what they're
up against because God is goingto defend Israel, believe me.
So I don't want to get into thator into politics.
(02:12):
But as I was kneeling here atthe altar uh right after I
returned home from Panama,Brother Moore came to me, my
pastor, and said, Would youaccept an assignment?
I want to give you anassignment.
And I said, Well, I will.
And he said, I want you topreach on Thanksgiving on
(02:37):
Tuesday night beforeThanksgiving is on Thursday
night.
So tonight, I'm gonna try mybest to fulfill my assignment
tonight, and I hope this will beone of the best Thanksgiving
messages you've ever heard.
Uh, because I want to talk toyou tonight about a lesson in
Thanksgiving.
I'll be taking my text from the17th chapter of Luke, but before
(03:01):
I do, I want to exhort you for alittle while on some other
things, and then I'll get to mytext.
You know, we are exhorted andeven commanded all through the
Bible, both Old and NewTestament, and especially in the
Psalms, to give God thanks andpraise for what He has done.
(03:22):
Now I have no trouble with thedress code that the holiness
people preach.
I don't have a bit of trouble.
You don't find me in no Bermudashorts, or very few peoples ever
see me in just a short sleeveshirt.
And I'm not saying that a shortsleeve shirt will send you to
hell, but I know very few peopleever see me in a short sleeve
(03:43):
shirt.
And I believe in modesty, but Ihave no trouble with that, and I
have no trouble staying awayfrom worldly amusements, I have
no trouble with pornography andall of these things.
But when Paul calls me to thishigh and lofty height that I
have not reached as yet, in 1Thessalonians 5 18, he says, in
(04:04):
everything, give thanks, forthis is the will of God in
Christ Jesus concerning you.
I need more lessons on that.
Now notice he didn't say foreverything, but he said in
everything.
And but sometimes it's just hardwhen you look at situations of
life to give thanks ineverything.
(04:27):
We creatures are very prone notto be thankful.
Also, the Bible teaches us thatthat will be one of the signs of
the last days.
For the Bible said in 2 Timothy3 and 1, this know also that
peerless times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of theirown selves, covetous, boasters,
(04:50):
proud, blasphemers, disobedientto parents, unthankful.
Now, unholy is really a terribleword, but did you know there's
just one comma betweenunthankful and unholy?
All in the same verse.
Unholy, traitors, heady,high-minded, lovers of pleasures
(05:11):
more than lovers of God.
It seems that this generation, along with a lot of others, were
filled with so much ingratitude.
We just don't know how sometimesto say thank you.
According to Knight's Book ofIllustrations, the owner of a
large department store years agooffered a five thousand dollar
(05:36):
prize to the one giving the bestanswer to how he could get his
business most speedily andimprove surely in a short time.
In a short time.
(06:10):
You know, that makes a lot ofdifference when you go into a
business.
What do you think about whatGod's done for us?
But I want to tell you tonightthat we've got a lot to be
thankful for.
And I've come really loaded downtonight, but not with problems.
When I look around at all myblessings, I know what the
(06:32):
psalmist meant when he said heloadeth me with benefits.
Are you loaded down tonight?
Oh, yes, you should be loadeddown with benefits.
And uh listen to me, I'm gonnapreach to you here in a little
bit.
But uh, we need to learn how tosay thank you.
(06:52):
Look what all God's did for us.
You ever thought about this,Brother Brandon?
He gave us two eyes forobservation, gave us two ears
for information, gave us twonostrils for inhalation, gave us
a mouth for conversation, gaveus two legs for transportation,
two feet for foundation, gave ustwo hands for salutation, and
(07:17):
two arms for adoration.
We owe him praise, don't we?
Look what he's done for us.
Well, we're gonna move on injust a little bit, and I'm gonna
read my text from the 17thchapter of the book of St.
Luke's Gospel.
You might want to be turningthere, and let me read to you.
I'll not hold you real longtonight, but I'm so thankful for
(07:39):
what God's done for me.
Oh, yes, listen to me as I readfrom the 17th chapter of Luke,
and I'll start at verse eleven.
Speaking of Jesus, and it cameto pass as he went to Jerusalem
that he passed through the midstof Samaria and Galilee, and as
he entered into a certainvillage, there met him ten men
(08:03):
that were lepers, which stoodafar off.
And they lifted up their voicesand said, Jesus, Master, have
mercy on us.
And when he saw them, not somuch as when he heard them, but
when he saw them, he said untothem, Go shoe yourselves unto
(08:24):
the priest.
And it came to pass that as theywent they were cleansed.
And one of them, when he sawthat he was healed, turned back
and with a loud voice glorifiedGod, and fell down on his face
at his feet, giving him thanks, and he was a Samaritan.
And Jesus answering said, Werethere not ten cleansed?
(08:47):
But where are the nine that arenot found that return to give
glory to God, save thisstranger?
And he said unto him, Arise, gothy way.
Thy faith hath made thee whole.
And the Spanish Bible says, Thyfaith has saved thee.
(09:08):
You know, I want to talk to youtonight about a man who teaches
us a great lesson.
I'm sorry we don't have hisname.
He did not give us hisautograph, but he gave us a
lesson and an example that everyone of us needs to take and
follow.
When we first see this man, there's nothing about him that
(09:30):
distinguishes him from theothers that he is with.
He is a part of ten wretched menthat are shut out of the gate of
the city, shut away from theirfamilies.
They are not brothers, yet theyhave a common bond.
But what a terrible bond thatbinds them together.
They all have that terribledisease, leprosy.
(09:54):
They are waiting at the gate, and I'm sure they had heard
rumors about a man that waspassing through their country
who was not afraid to touchlepers.
Oh yes, even though they had tostand afar off, they were
waiting.
What a welcoming committee.
Ten lepers waiting at a gate, waiting on Jesus.
(10:18):
Now you must understandsomething about leprosy.
If you don't already know, it isa blood disease that affects the
members of your body.
And when you have leprosy, youare dying while you're living.
And it disembembers parts ofyour body, gradually taking away
from your body certain parts.
(10:38):
In other words, your solely shslowly becoming buried one
member at a time.
It's a terrible disease.
And Dr.
Thomason, who studied thisdisease when he went into the
leper colonies in the Far East,he said they held up to him
hands without fingers, armswithout hands, those unearthly
(11:03):
sounds coming from the throatswhere leprosy had eaten out
their pallets.
No ears, some of them had nohair, no nose.
Leprosy had disembembered them.
And he said it was a terrible, terrible sight.
Well, these ten men were therein this particular place where
they were shut away from allothers.
(11:26):
Let's look at these men for amoment.
Look how many ways they arealike.
For you see, all ten of them arelepers.
Oh yes, they all have the samedisease symptoms.
They're all facing that terribleday of death, and they are all
outcast, shut out from theirhouses, from their families,
(11:47):
from their homes, oh from theirbusinesses, from their
associates.
Oh yes, but it seems they allhave a desperate desire to live.
So they all have faith.
Every one of them, they havefaith, for when they heard that
Jesus was coming, they went outto meet him as close as they
(12:11):
dare get.
In those days a leper, when hecame around others, he had to
cover his mouth and cry, unclean, unclean, and he could
only come within a hundred stepsof others.
But this man, Jesus, they stoodafar off.
And when they saw him, theychanged their cry from unclean
(12:35):
and started crying out, Jesus,Master, have mercy on us.
Oh, that's what I did one night.
Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
Hold on now.
They were all, these men werealike in that they believed in
prayer.
For that was a prayer they werepraying.
(12:56):
Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
Not only does all these men havefaith, but I believe they
believed in prayer, and further,to further convince you of that,
as soon as Jesus gave them acommand, they were in obedience
to the command that Jesus gavethem.
(13:17):
He did not touch any of them, hedid not speak to any of them
personally.
Nobody told him that we deservea healing touch.
He just saw their condition andhad compassion on them.
And he told him to go and shoeyourselves unto the priest.
(13:37):
Now, this is what a leper wassupposed to do after he had
thought he was cured.
He had to go to the high priestand or to a priest and get a
certificate of cleansing to showthat he had been cleansed.
But these men were commanded togo show themselves to the priest
(13:58):
while this terrible disease ofleprosy still cling to their
bodies, while they could see theeffects of it.
There was no visible change, butthe Bible said they all, all ten
of them, they were alike intheir obedience, and they
started on their way to thepriest's office.
But as they were going to thepriest, as they went, they were
(14:24):
all cleansed.
Every one of them, I'm gonna bepreaching to you here in just a
little bit, every one of themwere cleansed.
Not one of them lackedcleansing.
Do you wonder how they felt,Brother Steve, when they felt
that healing virtue startsurging through their body?
And one looked at the other andsaid, Hey, you don't have
(14:45):
leprosy anymore.
Another one, you don't have itno more.
I don't have leprosy anymore.
And they realized that all tenof them was cleansed.
I believe they rejoicedtogether.
Oh, yes, and they were all alikein these things.
They were alike in their need, they were alike in their
(15:06):
enthusiasm to get help, theywere alike in their faith, they
were much alike in their prayer, they were alike in their
obedience and alike in theircleansing.
But this is where the likenessends, and they come to the
parting of the way.
When they saw that they werecleansed, no doubt one of them
said, I left my wife at home.
(15:28):
A little baby, I'd love to kissme again.
I've got to get home and seeabout my wife.
Another one probably said, I'veleft my farm.
I've left my businessassociates, I've left this and
I've left that, and maybe one ofthem said, I left a sweetheart
down there.
I need to get back, make sureshe's still waiting on me.
(15:50):
And one by one, they go on theirway.
I said, they go on their way.
Oh, back to their farms, back totheir business, back to their
families.
And that leaves the road vacant, with the exception of one.
But this man stands and looksdown the road where his nine
(16:12):
companions have justdisappeared.
And he probably says in hisheart, I've got a family too.
I've got business too.
I've got a wife and children.
I long and yearn to be withthem.
I haven't seen them in months.
But there's something morepressing inside of me.
There's something pushing me,there's something compelling me.
(16:36):
I cannot go my way to see myfamily or my business.
There's one thing that's allimportant.
I've got to go back down thisroad I came from and meet this
man called Jesus that laid hisloving words upon me and I was
cleansed of my leprosy.
Oh, hear me.
This is the parting of the way.
(16:58):
How much more?
Those of us that have been savedfrom our sins, when we look at
those that have been touched byGod who went back into the
world, many of them have beentouched by here.
There's honor and they're notgoing on with God.
And those of us that are goingon with that, going on with God,
we need to be more thankful.
(17:18):
I dare say tonight that there'snot a one of us in this
building, including me and yourpastor, that stopped often
enough and to give God thanksand praise for what he has done.
This man goes back to whereJesus is at and he falls on his
face at his feet.
Oh, yes, and he glorifies Godand thanks him with a loud
(17:42):
voice.
What about this guy?
He praised him and glorified Godwith a loud voice.
You know who the losers were?
Those nine that went on theirway.
Now I cannot fail but sense asadness in the voice of Jesus.
(18:04):
Oh, he's rejoicing because thisone man comes back.
But I sense a sadness in hisheart and voice as he looks at
this one man and says, Werethere not ten cleansed?
Where are the nine?
Where are they at?
Oh my Lord, there has notreturned but this one man, and
(18:27):
he was a Samaritan.
You know who the Samaritanswere.
They were considered by the Jewsto be dogs.
They were the outcasts.
When they come back from thecaptivity of Babylon, they had
settled down in Samaria and theywere considered dogs.
But this man is not a dog today.
Oh no, he's not just aSamaritan.
(18:48):
We honor him not because he wasrich.
We do not honor him because hewas so intellectual.
We do not honor him because ofthe holdings that he has.
We honor him for one thing.
He knew how to say thank you.
He knew how to say thank you.
So Jesus looks at him and hesays these words.
(19:12):
Arise, go thy way.
Thy faith hath made thee whole.
Now, if you'll look up inWebster's dictionary, the word
whole means complete.
Nothing missing.
A complete system.
Oh, I don't know what leprosyhad taken away from him, but he
(19:33):
got back everything he'd lost toleprosy, but he got back more.
He got something down in hissoul.
Well, I believe when he began tothank the Lord Jesus Christ and
praise him, something began towork inside of him.
Oh yes, and he began to glorifythe Lord with a loud voice.
And who among us can give himpraise and not feel the touch of
(19:56):
God?
Everyone that's truly saved thatwill worship the Lord in the
spirit.
We renew when we begin to praisehim for our salvation.
We renew that experience we haveat an old-fashioned altar, and
we feel the effects of it againand again and again.
Were there not nine that wentaway?
(20:18):
And only one returned?
That's a minority, my friend, bymuch.
But he was a magnificentminority.
Oh yes, because he returned togive God praise.
Look at us here at New MissionChurch.
Look what all we've got to bethankful for.
We've got a good church.
(20:39):
Oh yes, I don't know about you,but I had food at my house.
Oh yes, I've got a good wife.
I've never doubted herfaithfulness.
Fifty-six years we've beenmarried.
I've got a family.
Our children here at thischurch, and our children other
places, we ought to be thankfulfor them.
(20:59):
And like Brother Wickley said, when those children were up here
giving those verses, man, thatmakes you feel good, don't it?
And then when we look at ournewest member, I noticed she
took it over and let Sister Galahold it instead of me.
I was sitting right in front ofher.
But she didn't hand it up to me.
But aren't we glad for that newmember?
Listen to me.
(21:20):
We have a church family.
I have a pastor here.
Oh, a wonderful pastor.
And uh I know he preached, he'sa great preacher.
Now he doesn't bring his big batand knock it out of the park
every time, but he very seldomever strikes out.
You have to say amen to that.
I said he very seldom everstrikes out.
(21:43):
Hallelujah.
Oh, you got a good record there.
Oh, yes, you very seldom everstrike out.
A good pastor that's concernedabout us, and his wife here,
sitting here with us heretonight.
We have our friends, we have ourvehicles to drive.
You'd be surprised in othercountries how many don't have
(22:04):
cars and don't even know hardlywhat they are in other
countries.
And here they can't hardlybelieve it.
Some of them that I've got twocars and a pickup.
Blessed, blessed, blessed.
That's why I say I'm loadeddown.
Daily loadeth me with benefits.
I'm thankful.
(22:24):
You say, well, those nine mayhave said, Well, I didn't go
back, but uh uh I must tell youthat I believe the Lord knew I
was thankful.
That's not good enough.
It's not acceptable in the sightof God for us not to praise him.
For the Bible says, from therising of the sun to the going
(22:45):
down of the same, the name ofthe Lord is to be praised.
And the Bible further declaresthat we are to let the redeemed,
or he says, Let the redeemed sayso, right underneath the verse
of several that quoted heretonight.
Psalms 107 and 1.
Well, 107 and 2 says, Let theredeemed of the Lord say so.
(23:06):
Tell somebody about Jesus.
Get out there and witness.
Oh, yes, I was talking to a guyjust uh this past week in a
restaurant.
You know, a lot of people don'tknow nothing about the holiness
way, they don't know much aboutit.
And a lot of that's our fault.
When I drive by, and don'tnobody throw nothing at me, but
(23:27):
when I drive by the Jehovah'sWitness slot up there and it's
full on Sunday morning, oh yes.
Oh yes.
Say, well, how did they get allthose people?
They got to them before we did.
Hallelujah.
Preach on, preacher man, just alittle while longer and I'm
gonna quit.
(23:47):
Hallelujah.
But the Bible did say that weare to give praise to God.
Then he tells us plainly that wecan't just think about praising
him, but therefore let us offerunto God continually the fruit
of our lips, giving thanks tohis name.
(24:11):
He wants to hear you say it.
You can't just say, I reallyfelt good and I thought about
it.
No, you've got to speak it out.
And isn't it surprising how loudsome can get talking to their
husbands or to their children orto somebody else on the job, and
they come to church and theyseem to be mutes in the house of
the Lord.
Oh, they don't want to praiseGod, they don't want to worship
(24:34):
God.
Oh, but listen to me, we mustworship the Lord and we must
give him our very best.
Jesus says to this Samaritan,You're made whole now.
And he says, Well, I guess now Ican go back and take care of
secondary things.
(24:54):
But my first obligation was toreturn to Jesus and give him
thanks.
I get up every morning, veryseldom I ever up very long till
I'm on my knees thanking theLord for his blessings and for
his help and for his grace.
Oh, if this church here, if wewould start praising the Lord
(25:17):
more, if we'd start worshipinghim more, you say, Well, those
charismatics, they do that.
Yes?
Are we gonna let a charismaticbeat us praising God?
You remember Sister Rich when wewas at Brother L.
M.
Reed's church in Sand Springs?
Never we'll forget that, brotherMoore.
I drove up there in the parkinglot, it was one of my first
(25:39):
revivals.
He came out and met me on theparking lots.
And uh, I know you got kin folksaround here, you're not here to
visit your kin folks.
Sister lives right over here, you're not here to visit her,
and to begin to lay it all out.
All Roberts University is overthere and different sites to
see, but you're not here tosightsee, you're here to preach
me a revival.
That's what he said.
That's the way he talked to youback in those days.
(25:59):
You didn't get by so easy.
And uh I said, All right, allright.
And I didn't know it was gonnabe so difficult, Brother Moore.
But on Sunday morning, thatfirst Sunday, had me to preach.
And then he said, now we gottahurry and eat because we got a
rest home service.
I want you to preach down there.
I said, okay.
And he said, now we got downthere and he said, now we gotta
(26:20):
hurry and get back because Icome on live on the radio, and
you're gonna preach that radiobroadcast.
I said, Lord, have mercy.
And uh got through with thatmercy uh radio broadcast, and he
said, Now we take a young peopledown on the street at five
o'clock on Sunday afternoon.
I want you to preach on thestreet, and we started back to
the church, and here's what thisman said.
Now we're ready for your big onetonight.
(26:42):
Oh, but here's what brought thisto my mind.
He had a couple people in thatchurch that wasn't living right,
and they got out there aboutevery service, they start
shouting.
Boy, he jumps out there onenight and goes to shouting and
dancing and praising God andsaid, I'm not gonna let these
hypocrites out shout me and outpraise out praise God and outdo
(27:05):
me on praising the Lord.
So I'm gonna go ahead and do thejob.
As Brother L.
M.
Reed, he's been going on a longtime now.
But remember, all of theselepers were alike in many ways.
They were alike in their faith, they were alike in their
prayers, they were alike intheir healing, they were alike
in their obedience, but theywere as different as day and
(27:27):
night when it comes tothankfulness.
A lesson in thankfulnesstonight.
Oh, we're gonna have awonderful, wonderful
Thanksgiving dinner to RichHouse if the Lord lets us live
that long.
I done one down and got two ofthem big old hounds and a few
things like that, uh, kind oftake the edge off the hunger.
(27:48):
But let me tell you something.
Thanksgiving ought to be morethan that.
Christmas, I'm gonna dosomething this year.
At Christmas, I always get outin my Bible and read the uh uh
story of Jesus' birth.
I think I'm gonna do somethingthis year before we eat, before
Thanksgiving.
(28:08):
Are you gonna give him anypraise?
Are you gonna worship him?
Oh, are are you afraid to liftyour arms?
Are you afraid to sayhallelujah, praise the Lord,
glory to God?
Well, sometimes I think we are.
Oh, yes, and those beautifulsongs that uh brother Brent sang
Sunday morning.
We started home, and my wifesaid, Oh, those I like those
(28:30):
songs that we sang this morning.
So they do something for me.
You know those old hymns?
And that song y'all sang tonightwas a more modern song, but it
was it was really good.
But some of this jumping, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, it don't
mean a thing.
Oh, I believe we ought to thankthe Lord.
It's gotta come from our heart.
(28:51):
You can get loud and hear me inmy last statement here.
You can get loud, but thatdoesn't mean you're praising the
Lord.
Now you can be a Christian.
Here's my last statement.
You can be a Christian and notbe thankful, and you can be a
Christian and be thankful.
(29:12):
But you cannot be a Christianand not be thankful.
Would you stand with me, please?
Have I completed it?
Completed the assignment,Brother Moore.
Hallelujah.
Hallelujah.
How many feels like you owe hima praise?
Here's what we need to dotonight.
(29:35):
When we just come and standaround these altars and start
giving the Lord praise.
You can't praise him very longuntil you start feeling the joy
of the Lord and the peace of Goddown in your heart.
Come right on.
Let's worship him.
Let's praise him.
Yeah, he's got you loaded downwith benefits tonight.
Hallelujah, hallelujah.
(29:56):
Oh, come and join us and worshipand praise.
To the Lord, oh hallelujah,Lord, we are so thankful.
We praise you, dear Lord, weglorify your name, we magnify
your name, Lord.
Thank you for this lesson that'sin your word.
Oh, that tells us that we needto be thankful.
(30:17):
Oh, be thankful unto Him andbless His name.
SPEAKER_05 (30:22):
Hallelujah,
Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_04 (30:26):
Oh God, oh God.
Oh, thank you, Jesus.
Thank you, Jesus.
Thank you, Jesus.
Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Oh, look around and see what thegood Lord's done for you.
SPEAKER_05 (30:42):
Oh, hallelujah,
hallelujah, hallelujah! Oh,
hallelujah! Oh, hallelujah!
SPEAKER_04 (30:52):
Oh, praise God,
praise God, Lord Jesus, Lord
Jesus, Lord Jesus, hallelujah,hallelujah, hallelujah.
Oh Jesus, I praise you.
I don't want to be like thosenine, fail to give you praise.
(31:14):
Thank you for saving my soul atan old-fashioned altar many,
many years ago.
But not only that, Lord, butyou've kept me down through the
years.
You've helped me and you'veanointed me and you've kept me
in the faith.
SPEAKER_05 (31:30):
Oh, hallelujah,
hallelujah.
Oh, so many blessings.
I just want to thank you, Lord, for all that you've done.
Oh, hallelujah! Hallelujah,hallelujah.
(31:57):
Oh God, hallelujah, hallelujah,hallelujah.
Go ahead and praise him.
SPEAKER_04 (32:42):

I don't know what you got out ofthat, the pastor did call me.
(39:02):
Yesterday morning.
I appreciate that very much.
And uh I appreciate all thatthis church does for my mission
work as well as for Sister Richand I.
I got a great obligation with mymission.
I don't say much about itbecause God seems to always be
(39:26):
the need.
But uh a lot of you don't knowthat I support twenty-one
pastors every month with$125 amonth, and those that live on
the lakes and rivers$150 amonth.
I support a supervisor with$500a month.
(39:48):
I support another supervisorwith$350 a month.
I support a uh man that does myinterpreting for me$50 a month,
down in a certain area where Icall and he speaks good English
and he knows the business thereand that keeps me informed.
And uh just to stay with my headabove the water, my mission,
(40:10):
gotta have about five grand amonth.
You don't hear me begging, oryou see, uh I'm a sh I cannot
dig and to beg I'm ashamed.
But I put my trust in the Lord, and the Lord meets the need.
And you folks here, this churchgives me an offering every
month.
Brother Alan trying to think ofher name now.
(40:33):
Your sister.
Yeah, Diane.
Okay, they send me a check everymonth from this church.
Brother Moore gives me a checkevery month, brother.
Steve Moore gives me a checkevery month, brother.
Give me a check every so often.
(40:54):
Sometimes he gets underconviction, doubles up all and
uh and uh the Lord just blessesthe work.
And here's what we've donethere, and I'm gonna shut this
down, let the pastor come.
But here's what we've donethere.
We have built 21 churches.
Someone told me over there herea while back, said Brother Rich,
you baptized over 600 peopledown here in the name of the
(41:17):
Father, the Son, and the HolyGhost.
And a soul is a soul, no matterwhere they're at, a soul is a
soul.
Now we're looking at anotherarea to build another church.
And I didn't know how we weregoing to do it.
And I told you this the othernight, I believe, but we went to
another place, another churchwhere I was preaching a
fellowship meeting.
The pastor got up and said, Ifeel like we ought to raise
(41:40):
what, what, 12,000?
Said we ought to build BrotherRich another church over there.
We ought to raise 12,000.
And they concluded that oftenthey had twenty-five thousand.
So man, I'm loaded down.
I'm overloaded.
