Speaker 1 (00:06):
It's the College Hockey Scoreboard show for February fourth, twenty
twenty five. While the men's Bean Pop finishes up next week.
We had two of the Boston teams in the mix
on the women's side. Like always, there's no breakdowns, no analysis,
it's just the scores. Sometimes a bad joke or did
I say dad joke doesn't matter if they're one of
the same in my world. Tonight we start with the women.
(00:28):
Alex lost seventh goal of the year came in overtime
to lift number fourteen Boston University to a three to
two win over number thirteen Northeastern. The Terrier sitalone A
top Hockey East with fifty points, four points ahead of
second place Yukon and now nine up on Northeastern. The
only game on the schedule on the men's side took
place in Atlantic Hockey America, where Bentley rallied from a
two zero deficit and ended Army West Points five game
(00:51):
winning streak as the Falcons moved within one point of
second place in the conference with a five to win.
Ryan Mansfield scored two goals for the Falcons. Now, let's
set the table with the conference standings heading into this
weekend's action. Once again, We'll start with the women and
the craziest race that I've been following all year. The
ECAC Cornell leads Colgate by a point and a half
(01:12):
for first, followed by Saint Lawrence five and a half
points back from Colgate. QUINNIPIAX in fourth, four points behind
Saint Lawrence. In Hockey East, already gave you the nuts
and bolts of that one above b season fourth, two
points behind Northeastern. In the WCHA, Wisconsin is seventeen points
up on second place the number one Badgers have sixty
(01:32):
five points. Minnesota and Ohio State are tied with forty
eight and second, but the Gophers have two games in hand.
Minnesota Duluth is in fourth with thirty six. In Atlantic
Hockey America, Penn State has forty five points and is
ten points up on second place Mercy Hurst. Syracuse's nine
points back of the Lakers. In the New High it's
a tight race with all teams having played twenty two
(01:54):
games and with three series left to go. Sacred Heart
is in first with forty five, leading second place LU
by two points. Franklin Pierce is in third with thirty nine,
while stone Hill and Saint also are tied and fourth
with thirty five points each. On the men's side, we've
got most teams with four to five series left to
go on the schedule, so that kind of sets up
with what we've got for the last month and change
(02:16):
of the season. In Atlantic Hockey America, Sacred Heart has
forty six points, five points up on second place Holy
Cross and six points up on Bentley Niagaras in fourth
with thirty nine. The Big Ten is a two horse race,
with Michigan State leading with forty points, two ahead of
second place Minnesota. Both teams have played eighteen conference games.
Ohio State's in third with twenty eight, followed by Michigan
(02:37):
with twenty five. In Wisconsin, which still needs to get
over five hundred to get an at large bid, they
sit there with twenty four, so three, four, five, and
six still a lot of movement between those teams. With
Augustana playing an abbreviated conference schedule in the CCCHA, the
Vikings du lead in points percentage. They'll play only sixteen
conference games this year. They're in a good position to
lock up the tournament's top seed. Minnesota States and second,
(03:00):
followed by Michigan Tech and Bowling Green. Much like the women,
the ECAC is also a tight race at the top,
with five teams all separated by five points. Quinnipeac leads
with thirty followed by Colegate, which has twenty nine. Dartmouth
and Union are tied and third with twenty six. Well
Clarkson has twenty five in fifth. In Hockey East Boston
(03:21):
College as a three point lead over Maine thirty five
thirty two, while Boston using third with thirty one. U
Consett's in fourth with twenty six, followed by UMass Lowell
with twenty five. In the NCAAC, Arizona State and Western
Michigan are tied in first with thirty four points, which
is what everybody had to start the year on their
preseason ballots right Omaha's in third with thirty one. North
(03:41):
Dakota and Denver are in fourth and fifth respectively with
twenty five and twenty four points. Eats. I'm Jason Bryant
at Jason M. Bryant on the Socials, leave a rating
reviewer some feedback on the show at College Hockey school

two games, and a standings recap on the College Hockey
