The St. Augustine lighthouse has a vast history dating back to 1589. Since then, the land has been owned by many countries, and what once was a wooden beacon has since evolved into a 165-foot lighthouse. Today, it houses 19,000 objects, archival documents, and archaeological specimens, as well as many spirits.
