(03:54):
and let's inspire before we expire. So today's guests, I
have two guys coming on for the first time, and
I'm going to read a little bit about their book.
It's called The Orchid The Secret Code of Modern Goddess.
It's a novel, a very inspirational novel, and I'm going
to read a little bit about them. But I want
to open up the book to the dedication. I received
this book in the mail a little while ago, and

(04:16):
it was just a beautiful presentation book. It had a
pressed flower on it and it really was like just
great energy from the moment.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
I touched it.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
But it's a dedication is also to you inspired listeners,
and it says this to all who journey through these pages,
May you be inspired to rewrite your own narrative and
live a life of love, free of limitations and enriched
by the knowledge that you are powerful beyond belief. So
that's a very powerful and inspiring opening to any book.

(04:46):
And again the book is called The Orchid, the Secret
Code of Modern Goddesses. And our two guests today have
collaborated together. They're both conscious entrepreneurs, world explorers, connectors, authors,
change agents, parents, sales and media executives. They got a
whole resume. And Rosello Aquina and Angel Reno are my

(05:07):
guests today and we're going to read a little bit
about their journey and how you can get this book.
Of course, you can always get all this information off
our social media sites, but I want to start with
real quick with Rosello and talk about where she's from.
She was born in Mexico City and now based in
Los Angeles.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
She's built a distinguished.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Career in both media and advertising sales, working with renowned
companies such as Time Magazine, TVs, Teca, Nickelodeon, Sony Pictures Entertainment,
and A and E. Mundo. Her career and life journey
have taken her to cities like Miami, Hong Kong, and London,
shaping her talent for connecting people, ideas and opportunities. Angel

(05:48):
originally from Puerto Rico and a graduate of Cornell University,
had a successful career at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where he
led content distribution teams across Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Europe,
with experience spanning over sixty five countries, while Angel has
merged his corporate leadership with a profound journey of self
discovery and purpose and together they are the co founders

(06:11):
for the Highest Good, a company dedicated to creating transformative
narratives that we're going to talk about today that inspire
personal growth and empowerment. Together, they blend their vast professional
and global experience to design projects that foster conscious leadership
and a more authentic way of living. Both firmly believe

(06:31):
the inner well being is the foundation for prosperity in
all aspects of life, including business. They advocate that when
a person is in harmony with themselves, their professional endeavors
flow more authentically and productively, leading to sustainable and meaningful results.
Their debut work, The Orc of the Secret of the
Secret Code of Modern Goddesses, invites readers to discover their

(06:51):
inner power and find a balance in their lives. It
serves as a reminder that self love, gratitude, and inner
clarity are the keys to its achieven success in all
areas of life. If you want to get this copy
of the book, you can go to the orchidbook dot
com and again, all the links are.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
On our social media pages. If you want to go grab.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
This book, download it, read it, get it, get inspired
my friends. Welcome to Inspired Levy. Thank you for being
on with me today.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
It's a pleasure to be here. Mark. Really, all what
you say is we are aligned and we are here
together to inspire anyone who was listening us.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
Well, if you got to go a audience.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Thank you for having us. And really, every time I
hear the dedication of the book and I hear it
as I heard it in from your mouth, it gives
me chills. So we're so excited to be here.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
I love that the chills, that energy, that inspiration, And
like I said, we're all about inspiring others and inspiring
before we expire. Right, we're all here for just a
short time. I'm in the journey of life and really
I just want to dive into this because this hour
goes by so very quickly. But what inspired you to
write The Orchid The Secret Code of Modern Goddesses and

(08:10):
How did the idea for the book come to life?
How did you manifest it? Where did this idea to
write such a book come from?

Speaker 5 (08:17):
Mark?

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Look, I was looking for forgiveness, and really at one
point I didn't know how to achieve it. So I
was asking a lot of people, how do you forgive?

Speaker 5 (08:30):
How do you forgive it?

Speaker 4 (08:31):
People in general didn't know how to explain to me.
I didn't find the word. So after searching for a
long time, because I was carrying a lot of heaviness
and paying for my past and for the story, really
did who I was? I didn't know that when you

(08:54):
forgive is the freedom for really for your past, so
you begin to stay in the present moment and then
you can create anything you want. But really, I want
to explain to more people how to do it. So
that's why we read this book, for people to understand

(09:18):
how to do it and to receive inspiration for the
characters to do it and to live a better life.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Beautiful an angel, you want to jump in?

Speaker 5 (09:32):
Yeah, thank you? Mark. Look, as Rossillo was looking for
that forgiveness. This was coinciding with my exit from the
corporate world and I started to look for purpose. I
realized that even though I had had a lot of success,
I didn't have purpose in my life. And all of
a sudden, we find ourselves reading we'd taken a course
in spiritual psychology. We became you know. We did this

(09:55):
for a year and a half, and all of a sudden,
we started to change in such a way that we
would look at each other, and we're a married couple,
so we had each other to refer to, and as
we were looking at each other, we would ask ourselves,
are you feeling what I'm feeling? And the answer came
back positive on both sides, because otherwise you don't know, right,
And so all of a sudden, all of a sudden,

(10:17):
we were like Holy Cow. And we saw our daughters
change their adolescence. They were changing. We saw our immediate
circle of friends change, our lives improved in such a
way that the immediate response to that was why did
we share this with the world. And when we decided

(10:39):
that we wanted to share it, the first thing that
came to television show and because we were in that world,
it wasn't at a crazy idea, but we decided that
there was a step before that, and that's how the
book and the novel came about, we wanted to tell
it in a story. We wanted to create a self
help book that was told through the eyes of five
fictional women.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
I love that. And if you think about the power
angel of storytelling, before there was reading and writing, how
did things get passed on through the power of storytelling.
So storytelling is a very long historical way of sharing information,
including inspiring and getting people to, you know, look within.

(11:24):
And I'm sitting here smiling, and you can't see this
over the radio, but I'm smiling because when my spiritual
journey started over two decades ago, I followed a gentleman
by the name of doctor Wayne Dyer, and he would
always say, if when you change the way you look
at things, the things that you look at start to change,
it's because you're changing. You're changing from the inside out.
And that's always stuck with me. And it sounds like

(11:45):
the two of you went through your own spiritual transformation
to find that diamond within and start to see the
world differently. But use your skill sets of what you
both bring to this book to be storytellers.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
And so I find that to.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Be very very powerful. And you know, rosso for you,
you talked about forgiveness and moving into that place. And
you know, I'm just I'm putting this out there for
the inspired listeners as well. Healing and forgiveness will actually
be a catalyst for.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
A great transformation.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
There's a saying that unforgiveness keeps them in control, but
when you move into forgiveness, it also sets you free.
So the question is hold on and get dragged or
let go and be free. The choices always are so
and I've read through some of the book and I
know that there's a chapter on the power of acceptance,
the power of healing, the im chapter. But for the

(12:38):
two of you, how does from your perspective, how does
storytelling if you know, just given the ancient history of storytelling,
how does it serve as a tool?

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Because this isn't just a novel.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
This is kind of to me, this is kind of
a spiritual self help guide if you will, and you
can correct me if I'm wrong, But how do you
find that storytelling serves as a tool for healing, especially
for women navigating the emotional wounds and transformation that most
women will go through today's crazy world.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
Yes, I thank you so much for this amazing question.
It's very simple. When I was there outside in the
world looking for answers. Really, the storytelling that I was
seeing was to if somebody broke your heart, you need
to go and eat cake or drink wine. So I

(13:31):
really never saw a storytelling to tell me, you know,
but you have tools that you can use. So that's
why it was so important for us to protray portray
these tools the problem, but the solution, and that's why
the novel is ten percent about about the suffering that

(13:56):
women are living, and ninety percent of the book is
the storytelling of how you come to see really because
right now in the movies you see that ninety percent
is the drama and ten percent is the hero, but
they don't tell you exactly how to do it. So

(14:19):
we jumped to that part and begin to explain how
to really become the hero of your life in the story.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
Mark it was really something interesting that happened to us.
We were once traveling and visiting Mongolia and we traveled
for five hours on a four by four on unpaved
roads and we get to a gird in the middle
of nowhere, and all of a sudden, we open the
gird and there's a television set attached to a satellite
dish and there in the middle of nowhere there is

(14:53):
a Hollywood movie plane on screen. Talk about the power
of storytelling, right, and so what we read they wanted
to do was, in fact what you said, capture the
essence of something we've been doing for thousands and thousands
of years and utilize it. The storytelling can be used
for quote unquote good and quote unquote god. Storytelling can

(15:14):
also be the source of incredible limiting beliefs, for example,
I am this, I am a victim, I am a
third world country, I am not worthy. Or it can
be the source of incredible liberation. And that is what
we wanted to use, and in fact, that is at
the core of our company. It is we want to
tell stories that help empower the human being to realize

(15:37):
the incredible force it has inside. Our novel is our
first attempt to bring back Well.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Congratulations on your collaboration for this novel. Reading through it,
says the Orcid, The Secret Code of Modern Goddesses is
more than just a transformative novel. It's a life manual
disguised as storytelling. So that's a great way to sum
up this for the inspired listeners and I do want
to ask both of you, is has this book? I
know it's a newer book, but has this been put

(16:06):
into audible yet? As far as an audible version of
this book? Because I get a lot of my inspired
listeners that say that they listen to their books now
on the audible versus actually reading, which is unfortunate. But
is this in audible yet?

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Or is this or is there plans to put it
in an audible version?

Speaker 5 (16:23):
It is? It is in English, in Spanish, in electronic,
physical and audio version. And I major add the two
audio versions in English and Spanish are spectacularly. The narrators,
the voices are incredible professionals and they did a wonderful job.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Excellent and well you kind of got ahead of me,
Angel because I was going to ask how many different
languages has it been transcribed? And so right now it's
in English and Spanish, so brilliant. Love that. And you
know for this download, you know.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
The storytelling.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
I just want to if it's okay, I just want
to read a little bit about the book so the
inspired listeners can kind of get a feel for what
this book is about, and then we'll dive into some
more questions.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
If you both are open to that.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
It says that this book invites readers. It says this
book invites readers to journey with a diverse group of
women who arrive at a paradisical retreat center in California.
Guided by the Orcans founder Mary and a team of
expert teachers and healers from various disciplines, The women explore
personal struggles such as closet and sexuality, career pressures, spousal abandonment,

(17:32):
sexual abuse, eating disorders, and manipulative behavior. As the participants
engage with the program's curriculum, explore key themes and learn tools,
they peel away layers of self deception, pain, and societal conditioning,
discovering that the love and solutions they seek already reside

(17:54):
within them. I want to explore because there is a
lot of conditioning, a lot of social conditioning, and so
this book maybe triggers for a few of the readers
because it's helping them to move past that barrier, that boundary,
to find a diamond within and to go on that
transformative path. But for the two of you, how have

(18:15):
you found your own transformational journey since writing this book together?
How have you seen yourselves change because of this book,
I guess is what I'm asking.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
Thank you, Mark. Really, what I've been telling lately to
everyone is the Rossillo that you met four years ago
is not me anymore. Is that Rosseo was somebody who
was carrying so much pain, insecurities, fears, And today I

(18:49):
found myself in a place of a lot of harmony
and acceptis but I live a life really moved to
be on balance, to be now I feel balanced. And
what can I tell you is my thoughts, my words,

(19:10):
my feelings, my actions are aligned. So when when I
been experienced these and now the projects and my life,
so is this a spiral that is growing and growing?
So I'm completely changed, and that's why I want to

(19:31):
invite everyone to the party.

Speaker 5 (19:35):
We're having a party angel in my case, Mark, You know,
I was always a glass half full type of person.
I always carried a lot of wisdom. I would say things.
I would I would hear a saying like God grant
me the stortny to accept the things I can actually
and so on and so forth, and I would understand them,

(19:57):
but I and I would apply them into my life,
but I was not able to speak about them or
to explain them in my own words. And what's interesting
is that it's almost as if Rossio and I had
this pact in which she would go through her transformation
and her transformation would influence me to go through mine.
So as she was experiencing that, I was almost like becoming.

(20:19):
I was growing into this new being that I am now.
And what how on I now that is different? I
feel less fear, I am more content with my life
and the way I'm living. I have a purpose. And
the one thing that I found that really has transformed
me fully is the embracing a new balance within me

(20:41):
between the masculine and the feminine. And it has just
given us such incredible power where even the projects were
involved in you know, perhaps a year ago te oh
my gosh, we could not do that. We know nothing
about that, And now we're venturing to do new things
simply because we feel. It's almost we have this joke,

(21:02):
which is not a joke. It's how we really feel.
Is look behind you and stare at the leaf and
of angel that are standing right behind you to support you.
And that's the feeling that we now carry within us.
So it's transformed the way we experience our life.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
Beautiful, and thank you for sharing that perspective.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
So for the inspired listeners out there, it's a story
that dares to explore the intricate layers of human emotions
and growth. Just as a character characters experience healing and strength,
so too will you as the readers. If you're in
search of a story that entertains while offering meaningful reflection,
then this book is for you. And it's called The Orchid.
The Secret Code, Secret Code. I like that, and everybody

(21:43):
likes secret codes, right, It's the secret code of modern
goddesses and the Angel. I like how you just describe
the balance between the feminine and the masculine, because that's
very important. And you said there's some there was nuggets
and gold diamonds of what you both said. But that
word fear, because we live in such a world that
is driven by fear based social conditioning.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
And I always remind the listeners.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
Out there that if you look at fear differently again,
the word fear starts to change. And what I mean
by that is I've always used fear as an acronym
false evidence appearing real, shift your mindset, reframe it and
becomes face everything and rise and it sounds like you
both have done that beautifully to find your own peace,
to find your own balance, and to find your own healing,

(22:28):
which we know serves to ascend and transform because diamonds
are only created under what extreme pressures. So you're revealing
today on inspired living in that Diamond within and the
Diamond of the organ book that you have written today
before we go to our first break, I do want
to talk about your experiences because I do feel in

(22:49):
my own journey that my spiritual path really opened up
because I had the ability to travel to different countries,
to have experiences with different cultures from around the world.
And I know that you both have lived in cities
around the world. How have those experiences influenced the way
you view connection, purpose and healing.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
You know, it's incredible to see how to have the
experience to go and see different cultures, to have a
collective way of thinking that it is different than yours
because you begin to see the similarities. And when you understand,
for example, you go to a temple and you see

(23:37):
how people connect with the divine, how they live, and
you begin to see that you can mold your limiting
belief and change them and it's like this is not
serving me. How I can serve something else. So thanks
to all the trips, I was able to free my

(24:00):
mind for these limited beliefs, for example, that I was
from a third word country, or my accent is terrible,
or you know, all these things that you put yourselves
in that case, and then you don't go out. So

(24:23):
when you begin to see that that doesn't matter, that
you need to shine, that you need to go out
because all the cultures, other people, they have a different attitude.
So in that moment, you change.

Speaker 5 (24:39):
And in my case, Mark, I really actually recently I
came to the conclusion I'm fifty seven years old right now,
and came to the conclusion that my entire history before
now was in preparation for what I am doing now
and everything that It's almost like I can look my

(25:00):
past now as a puzzle, and every single piece the
going to Mongolia, the visiting these countries there, working there,
the selling this piece of content somewhere else empowered me
in a way that simply started to complete the full
picture of who I am. And so yes living around

(25:22):
the world and we've lived together as a couple, We've
lived in Mexico, Miami, Hong Kong, London, and now Los
Angeles and traveled in, you know, profusely all around those places.
Living around the world was the final proof that the
wisdom and beauty of the world, it's truly throughout the

(25:44):
entire world. And when you open your eyes, you can
see it, you can absorb it, and you can internalize
whatever you want out of those experiences. And almost always,
and in my case it has been always has enriched
everything I do and everything I am, So without a doubt,

(26:05):
it's been critical too. Why were we are doing what
we're doing?

Speaker 3 (26:11):
Beautiful? Yeah, explore the world.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
There's a beautiful world out there, and put that fear aside,
because you will transform immensely.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
So we're going to go to our first break.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
I always like to say that we are limited only
by the depth of our imagination and the strength of
our conviction. When we return here in just a few moments,
we're going to pick up the conversation with our special
guests today, Rosea Aquino and Angel Aregno, and we're talking
about the book The Orchid, The Secret Code of Modern Goddesses.

Speaker 5 (29:04):
You came across someone struggling with hunger, how would you
recognize them?

Speaker 8 (29:09):
Would you notice an eight year old girl who's not
excited for summer break because she may not be having
lunchicon until September, or a war veteran who's having a
hard time.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Landing good job and getting back on his feet.

Speaker 8 (29:22):
I am the one in naded Americans who struggle with hunger.

Speaker 5 (29:25):
I am hunger.

Speaker 8 (29:26):
In America, hunger can be hard to recognize, learn why,
and I am Hunger in America dot org. Brought to
you by Feeding America and the AD Council, and.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Welcome back to Inspired Living. Our show today is focused
on a storytelling novel and guide to help you through
the transformative journey of life, and it is called The Orchid,
The Secret Code of Modern Goddess with Rosea Aquino and
Angel Arengo. I hope I am not mispronouncing your names.

(30:01):
I'm really trying to get those right. And they are
the co authors and collaborated on this first novel together
to really bring this vibration and inspiration to the airwaves
that we can share with you today. And what I
want to do is I want one of you to
give me a page number in the book, and then
we're going to open up to that book page number,

(30:23):
and we're going to just have a short discussion on it.
This is something I like to do with my guests
because I find a lot of times intuitively the message
resonates with what we're trying to say. And then I'll
have some more questions for you. So who would like
to give me a page number the book?

Speaker 4 (30:37):
Yes? One? Eight by.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
One eight five, okay?

Speaker 2 (30:44):
And any reason, Marseo for that that number.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
Is that just what came to your mind?

Speaker 2 (30:48):
Or is that a.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
Special number for you?

Speaker 4 (30:51):
Is the chapter of gratitude?

Speaker 2 (30:56):
It is, and it's chapter twenty three, and chapter twenty
three in the sphere world and numerology world is a
very spiritual number. We have time to get in all
the details about the chapter twenty three, but the chapter
is I give thanks, And let's talk about this chapter
and how important that is to both of you, about
the attitude for gratitude and giving thanks. And there's a

(31:17):
Vietnamese proverb that says, when eating fruit, remember the one
who planted the tree? Or maya Angelou who said this
is a wonderful day. I have never seen this one before.
Ooh powerful. Let's talk about gratitude and giving thanks for
this book.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Yes, it's very important. At this point of the book,
we see the characters really go through difficult experience. So
we want to help them to move from survival elevate
them the frequency. So the way to help them is

(31:55):
to begin to explain for what reason we need to
give thanks and how key is for changing the frequency.

Speaker 5 (32:06):
Well, you know, it's something really you were mentioning before
fear and love. The way you explained it, it's very
similar to the way we speak about it. Here's like
a radio station. It's a frequency, and once in a
while I find myself in it. I wake up in
the morning, I said, Oh, my goodness, are we really
doing all this? And I remember and the moment that

(32:27):
I recognize that I am in fear, then the net
that is, oh, I need to change that frequency. And
for me, it is gratitude that helps me do that.
And there's something we say in the book is it
doesn't really matter what you give thanks for what you're
grateful about. What matters is that you enter in the
frequency of gratitude. And so what you will see throughout

(32:50):
this part of the book is all the different exercises
that we give the characters so that they start entering
into that frequency and practice sing it. It is one
of the tools that we use to begin that transformation
that's happening within them throughout the book.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
I love that, yeah, And you know, for the listeners
out there, gratitude could be found anytime of the day
twenty four seven, three sixty five.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
You know, clean drinking.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
Water, a warm shower, roof over your head, knowing where
your next meal comes from. Right, there's a lot of
things that we take for granted that many people around
the world don't have that they don't know if they're
going to, you know, have whether next meal is going
to come from.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
Don't have a warm shower or clean drinking water.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
So there's always that mindset to be grateful for something.
And I always like to say an attitude for gratitude,
or as I always remind my listeners, sometimes the most
spiritual thing you can do is just to have fun
and you know, watch your thoughts and be mindful of
your thoughts.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
And go out into the world and just do good.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
So what I want to do now is I want
to and thank you for just doing that exercise.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
I find that to be very fun when I have
the authors pick.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
A page number out of their own book and we
can talk about it. But let's break down on the
Orchands week long program that you were just talking about
Angel that centers on five vital teachings, and this is
where we can actually start to bring application of inspiration
into the listeners listening to the Today Show bring into
their awareness. But let's talk about the five vital teachings

(34:17):
which is awareness, gratitude, which we were just touching on,
forgiveness which Rozario opened the show with, acceptance, and of
course intention, all very five powerful things to talk about.
So I'm going to turn my mic off. I don't
let the two of you speak like you're teaching the
class to the inspired listeners out there on these five

(34:38):
vital teachings.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
Yes, Mark, please one fable, can you go to the
page one hundred and thirty two because we are talking
about we're going to talk about the spectrum of inner
growth and is we put this chart there for every
want to understand how you can really move yourself from

(35:06):
different frequencies and how we can do it.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
Yeah, Okayetitude.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
This sides directly to your question, Mark, which is and
how the story evolves in the book. Essentially, it's a
seven day week in which women arrive at this retreat
center and they're welcomed and on day one they encounter
awareness and that's station number one. It's all about start

(35:36):
observing yourself, and really it's ask the question do I
like what I see? And if you like it, by
all means continue doing it, and if you don't, then
ask a further question, which is do you want to
change it? And if so, then let's go on to
the next stage. Utilize gratitude, forgiveness and acceptance to essentially
replain your power. Right, we all know well that we

(36:00):
carry so much baggage. When you apply the gratitude of
forgiveness and the acceptance, you begin to understand that you
can actually you have control over the things that are
impacting you. You start to learn about how you can
shift that energy, and ultimately you become in a way

(36:21):
the controller of your lives, which often we think we
have no control over it. And then when you recover
that energy, then you pass on to the next stage,
which is to become more intentional about the life you
want to live. Because you're no longer worrying about the
past or the future. You're no longer carrying that anger

(36:43):
or that resentment about that person or that thing that
happened to you, and not as worried for what may
happen for you in the future. You're living more in
the present moment, and now you have more energy to
deal with with what you want to accomplish. And that's
the face since the story of the book. Obviously, as
you begin to encounter all of these pieces and you

(37:06):
experience them. That leads to the last two stages that
we speak about, which is transformation and ultimately love, which
is at the end what we're all searching for. First
love for ourselves and then that love that is communal
when we start to realize that we're all connected and
we all impact each other. And when someone is hurting,

(37:28):
we're hurting. When someone doesn't need, we are hungry. And
that's the oneness, if you will, that we are experiencing
in our lives and we want everybody else to experience
as well.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Well. And I would add the angel as well, the
love from God or the spirit world. Well, you know,
whatever the inspired listeners, whatever their belief system is, there's
that love that resonates from the other side. Just because
we don't see it doesn't mean it's not there. And
I think you had given me the visual of the
angels walking behind you. And there's that love too, that
universal love, that spiritual love, that God love. You know,

(38:02):
however you want to, you know, try to define it
or label it, but there, you know, love is the
universal connection.

Speaker 3 (38:10):
From this physical world to the next journey.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
And I've found that to be very true and you
know that all that is that you were just talking
about angels, so very powerful, the power in the present moment.
Of course, we all have visual you know, have a
visualization of the future we want, but it's never guaranteed
to anybody. And I've done past podcasts on this exact topic,
but it's it's a reminder that we can still plant
the seeds for the future that we hope to get

(38:35):
to in the legacy we want to carry on. But
it's that old adage that yesterday is history, tomorrow is
a mystery.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
Today's the gift. That's why we call it, and we.

Speaker 9 (38:43):
Refer to it as the President.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
The President lists.

Speaker 9 (39:10):
And you know, confusion, restlessness, detachment, isolation, loneliness, and then

(39:36):
of course the behavior is self absorption, lack of real interest, motivation,
or heartfelt engagement.

Speaker 3 (39:43):
So with that spectrum of.

Speaker 2 (39:44):
Inner growth, how would you to approach that for somebody
that that's maybe reading the book and they're in that
survivability mode and they just want to release everything that
we've been talking about and move to the place that
the three of us are talking about today.

Speaker 4 (40:00):
So what we do in the novel is all for
little on consciousness and they are really living, really a
lot of trauma. So what we are doing it and

(40:24):
little by little and that's why this is a week.
This is a place as a place of love. We
don't we don't have any judgment for anyone. So the
characters begin little by little with curiosity because you know,
are there at that time in their life when they

(40:44):
need a change, and friends of them are recommended to
go to this place, to the orchid. So finally they applied,
they were accepted, and so they go and when they
are there is like a I need change? How to
do it? So through all the healers and the characters,

(41:04):
they begin to see how the curocity to awareness. They
begin to change the frequency and when they feel the
little but little better, we take them to the last
day with intention and any intention because they understand now

(41:25):
what happened to them, how they can change and they
begin to release them. They can create the next moment,
the moment that they can take control of their thoughts.

Speaker 3 (41:40):
Powerful.

Speaker 5 (41:44):
One of the things mark that it's really important and
for anyone who is listening, who finds themselves in that
surviving stage. And that's why we put in every women
as we see a mention every woman had a friend
in front of them that says, Hey, come to mirror,
have you seen this about yourself? You're collapsing, You're you're

(42:05):
not holding it together. And I would say, find that
person or that one thing in your life that you
know it's a sound anchor that you know who's advised
you can trust and open yourself to the possibility that
they may have a message for you that you have

(42:26):
not listened to or heard before. And breathe like the
breath and allow that space to be created within you.
Because when you allow the possibility for that space, then
you're really listening to what the universe has to tell you.
And the reminder of we tell everybody is the universe

(42:50):
loves you. God loves you, and he's never left this right.
That power has never really been far away from It
is we who don't see it at times. And the
moment that you go inside and you create the space,
you also create the probability and the possibility that that

(43:11):
message reaches you. And it's that little baby step that
leads you down the paths that you know. You follow
those little crumbs and all of a sudden you start
seeing more and more and your life begins to change.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
I love it, And Rassilla, you talked about opening the show,
you talked about forgiveness in your journey, and I'm just
curious where you would be today if you've not written
this book or followed this book, or had moved into forgiveness.
Where do you think you would be without this guidance
and this inspiration.

Speaker 5 (43:45):
Probably that.

Speaker 4 (43:48):
Because I was, I was not coppy. I try to.
My mother passed away when I was twenty.

Speaker 5 (43:58):
And.

Speaker 4 (44:00):
I saw her how she was not able to let
go the past, neither the pain, and she was not
She was not She didn't have any tools. And when
she died of sadness, of because she was feeling like

(44:22):
life cheating on her and was like a okay, nothing's
gonna change, so she let go and I was really
mad at her. That come on, how you try to
find something, But thirty three years ago was not so
much help for everyone or was not so open like

(44:46):
it is today. So really this book is for persons who,
like myself or my mother, at one point feel ourselves
like I need a chance and is not happening how
to do it? So that's why it was super important

(45:06):
to explain that our emotional body really keeps the score.
So but if we have therapies like sounds healing or
something else, yes, you can release that pain that is
in our bodies. So it's important to talk more about

(45:30):
these issues marked because more people are going to know
how important it is.

Speaker 3 (45:38):
Yes, and thank you for sharing that perspective.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
I was just I was curious about, you know, because
you're opening the show with forgiveness, and that's you know,
healing is a big part of the journey. But it's
also one of the principles that I teach on is
personal responsibility. We have that personal responsibility. You know, you
just can't get on an Amazon and order it up
and it's at your door the next day, and if
you can, I'd love to know what that this, But

(46:01):
it's about personal responsibility, and you had a personal responsibility
to yourself for Saoh to say, you know what, I'm
not going to go down that path. And your mom
may have moved into the physical death, but we know
that life always continues on, that life and energy always
continues on. So she's very much alive, just in a
different way, and you'll see her again and it'll be
funny to have that conversation and say Hey, I changed

(46:23):
it up and I.

Speaker 4 (46:24):
Wrote this Mark, She's with me since she bus away.
She was no, she was free really to be with
me and for the universe use her to guide me.
And now I understand completely is being superfund to have

(46:45):
conversation with her.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
Really yeah, yeah, And that inspiration that I'm sure influenced
a lot of the content and energy that you put
into your writings of this book. So I just I
wanted to remind the inspired listeners out there that life
is continuous and so with that I could just these shows.
I could talk to you guys for like three hours,

(47:07):
but we don't have the airtime for that. But tell
me about just the self love and how the self
love plays in creating a more fulfilling and conscious life.
Because you're right, thirty three years ago we weren't as open,
we weren't as evolved, but now we are and we're
getting more open.

Speaker 3 (47:24):
And aware and awakened.

Speaker 2 (47:25):
What role would you from your both your perspectives do
self love because it's a big part of this journey
is self love and to know thyself. I am I
think therefore I am.

Speaker 4 (47:37):
You know, Mark is being a fantastic way to experience
I have many conditions, growing with many limited limitants. So
in the moment that I begin to remove one and
one and we have it in a chapter, the characters

(47:59):
go and they begin to remove all the limiting beliefs
and that was so much creates so much freedom that
transform you. So that's why it is so important for
anyone of your listeners to understand that they are not alone.

(48:21):
We are all together and we can we can support
each other. And really it's incredible when you understand that
you cannot judge anyone because everyone is doing the best
they can with what they have, and you don't know
what you don't know like these ones. Conversations like this

(48:48):
one help you to understand that you know it's possible,
even persons who grew up with terrible conditions like me
in antisfoncial family, like a terrible his sorry really can
more than needles from victim afraid to somebody who can

(49:10):
be super empower In.

Speaker 5 (49:14):
Three and for me mark self, love is I can
explain it in different ways. One is a shield. It's
almost like this protective field that really nothing penetrates because
my love for me is much greater than anything else.
The other example I often use is like, imagine if

(49:37):
every day in the morning you get ten gold coins,
and those ten gold coins are things and a currency
that you can use to exchange anything you want. If
you only have ten ten coins, then you can ask yourself,
where am I going to spend that each one of
those today? And I'm only going to spend it on

(49:58):
things that I know and rich, but also enrich the
world around me. Because I feel so good about myself,
I want other people to feel exactly the same way, because,
after all, why would anybody want to be surrounded by
people who are miserable because they're not happy? And so
when I go around self, love for me is the

(50:18):
fountain of everything that I do. It is the source
of every conversation that I get involved in, of every
action that I take. It's also, by the way, the
reason why I don't get involved in certain things. So
for example, I see the person taking my parking spot
at the local grocery store, It's like, you know, maybe

(50:40):
they need more than I do. And so I start
looking at life differently because the source of my being,
of my doing, of everything that I am is essentially God.
God is love, right, and so that's how I live
my life, and it's become now essentially the way I

(51:01):
walk it or the way I try to walk in
because it's not always perfect, but I always know that
that's where I need to return to.

Speaker 3 (51:10):
I love that perspective. And you're right, Misery love company.

Speaker 2 (51:13):
Right, that's where you've been saying that for well as
long as I've been on the planet. Is that old
edage misery loves company. So changing the way that you
live your life, both internally that divinity within and the
external material world is very very powerful for the self
love approach.

Speaker 3 (51:27):
So thank you for sharing that perspective. And you're right.
You know my mantra.

Speaker 2 (51:31):
This last year, I've had four major surgery, so it's
been very transformative for me. But the matra has always
been this is happening for me as the superhero of
my life. This isn't happening to me as the victim
of the circumstances. So for you inspired listeners out there,
you have to ask that question through personal responsibility. Is
it happening for you or is it happening to you?
Because when you reframe it look at a different way.

(51:53):
One's very powerful and inspiring, the other one's very low.
Vibration and playing the victim never really makes us healthy.
So I just want to say thank you to you
both for sharing this. I hope that you write another book,
maybe a sequel to this book. I love how synchronicity
is or coincidences work in the path of you know,
spirituality and being open to this is It reminds me

(52:16):
when I was reading this book, I was watching a
TV series because you talked to Angel about seeing a
Hollywood movie in the middle of desert with nothing around
except the TV and satellite dish, and it's it's called.

Speaker 3 (52:27):
Nine Perfect Strangers, and it's this.

Speaker 2 (52:28):
It's an approach of working on healing, but done with
the ancient traditions of plant medicines, which is becoming more
and more into our consciousness. And again, a lot of
this stuff that we're talking about, from you know, chanting
to vibrational healing, storytelling, these are all ancient, you know,
ancient rights that have been around for thousands of years.
So the inspired listeners, you know, this isn't nothing new.

(52:51):
We're just bringing this back up in a new way
so you can have that understanding of how to use
this guide to heal, to transform, to let go, to
work into forgiveness, to move past fear, and I, just
before we close, I just want to give you both
the opportunity if listeners walk away with one shift in
their perspective after hearing our interview today and our conversation

(53:12):
and then picking up this book and reading what from
your perspectives? What would that be?

Speaker 5 (53:19):
I would say that, and it begins with the dedication
you are powerful beyond belief. I know everything around you
often it's telling you that you're not that the power
you hold it's outside of you. But when you start
making the space, when you breathe, when you meditate, when
you connect, when you hug a tree, when you walk

(53:41):
in nature, you start to realize that you are indeed
much more powerful. And the moment you make that recognition,
things around you begin to change. I encourage you for
are listening to look within and make the space for
all of these things that Marcus talking about, because you
never know which is the one that's going to be

(54:03):
the key that unfolds the beauty of you.

Speaker 4 (54:08):
And for me is read the book Enjoy teven days
in an amazing spot and you know, Mark, We're going
to have a book club in July and maybe you're listening.
People want to join, to join us, to really be
with us, very intimate in the internet. All the informations

(54:33):
is in the ortybook dot com. And I hope I
see you there.

Speaker 2 (54:40):
Well. Beautiful work, beautiful book, beautiful people. Thank you to
you both for coming on and sharing your story, your journey,
your personal insights for the Orchid, the secret code of
modern Goddesses. I appreciate you both. Keep up the great work,
keep inspiring the world. The world needs it more now
than ever. Again, those five words awareness, gratitude, forgiveness, acceptance,

(55:05):
intention can take all of us a long way. And
like I always say, sometimes the most spiritual thing you
can do is just to have fun. And while you're
having fun, pick up this book check it out if
you want to. Again, if you want to get the link,
you can go to theorcidbook dot com. You can also
get the links off our social media sites. And I
just appreciate you both. I'm very appreciated for this conversation
in this interview today, So thank you so much.

Speaker 5 (55:28):
It's been our privilege to be here with you.

Speaker 2 (55:30):
Mark, Thank you, and welcome back anytime to continue the conversation.
Like I said, I wish we had more time because
we're just touching. This is like the tip of the iceberg.
You know you touch that tip, but you know that
there's so much more under the water. So until our
next soul adventure together, Inspired listeners, I always say, be kind,
be caring, be compassionate, and most importantly, wherever out in
the world, dare to dream, dare to explore, dare to

(55:53):
live and discover that diamond within.

Speaker 3 (55:54):
We'll see you next time here.

Speaker 2 (55:55):
I'm inspired living
