Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome to Let's Talk Midlife Crisis.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
I'm Ashley and I'm Tracy, where your go to hosts
for all things midlife, menopause, and Moments of Pure Mayhew. Hello. Hello.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
This week, we're gonna since we're coming to.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
An end nearly season season, we thought it would be
fun to reflect on some of our top episodes and
products from the past year.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
And there's been so many.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
Oh my gosh, you know, I was, as I was
thinking through about this, I can't believe.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
How many guests we've had. It's been a really fun season.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
It has been like that's I.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Think those are my favorite episodes.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
Well we have guests because it just brings a whole
new dynamic to our episode and it you know, I've
learned a lot from these people, and it's just so
empowering to meet these women that have, you know, faced
a lot of challenges and have just figured figured out
how to navigate through those and turn their life around.
And it's just I love hearing those stories.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
I do too. I do too.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
They're very uplifting and met some incredible, incredible women that
are doing some incredible things, whether it's writing books or
starting companies, and you.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Know, websites, yeah, and getting into podcasting, Yes, and getting
into podcasting.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
So some of our listener favorites. I thought we'd start
with some of our listener favorites, So a rundown of
the most popular and impactful episodes from our second season.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
And the top.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
One is the twenty eight day chair yoga that is
so mind blowing to me.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Well, I think a.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Lot of it had to do with the timing of it,
because it dropped in January, and I think that a
lot of people, a lot of women specifically, have resolutions
that they create New Year's resolutions about losing weight, right,
getting into getting very active, getting more active. So I
think that timing had a lot to do with that one.
(02:03):
I tried it, if y'all remember y'all, Right, if you guys,
remember I tried it, And I'm just going to be
brutally honest. The exercise itself, there are ten minutes. It's nothing.
It really is nothing, right, It's just movement. Basically, it's
just movement. But it wasn't, you know, anything too physical,
(02:26):
It wasn't too strenuous or anything. My challenge was adding
it into my daily routine, right.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
Well, and you know this is where because we both
worked from home, and so it's I don't know about you,
but I don't really have like a set schedule of
this is the day I do laundry, this is the
you know, I'm not really like that. I just if
it needs to be done, I'm going to do it.
And so my day is kind of like that. It's like,
when something needs to be done, I'll do it. And
(02:56):
obviously those things changed throughout the week, but when you're
getting back into something like this where you you know,
you want to move around more, you want to work
out or whatever it is, you really kind of have
to set a time of the day to do it
because that's the only way you.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Hold yourself accountable.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
You know. It's like, oh, well I didn't have time today,
I didn't get it, or you get by today afternoon
and you're tired and you don't feel like doing it.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
And then I was like, I'll do it tomorrow. Yeah,
I was trying to set it up around noon. But
my work day, because I work from home, it isn't
I don't clock in, I don't clock out. There's no
set time for lunch. Oftentimes, you know, more than not,
I eat at my desk, we'll just make a sandwich
or something. But so it wasn't working. But so in
(03:43):
twenty eight days, I would say it was an epic
fail for me. I'm stubborn, and I really liked it,
and I feel that it's going to be very beneficial
for me. So I've started it again and I'm going
to try to do it. I'm going to try to
incorporate it in my morning routine, right, get it out
of the way, Get it out of the way. And
I also think that it might help me don't drink
(04:04):
coffee and stuff like that, So maybe the adrenaline will
help me be more productive as I start.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
And I think you just feel better physically.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
I always try to do I mean we've talked about,
like I do a lot of stretching and just very
simple you know, workout, push ups, set ups, things like that.
No weights, I don't use weights anymore because of my tendonitis.
But I always try to do it in the morning
because I do feel better through I'm kind of loosened up,
you know, from my stretching. I do feel better throughout
(04:34):
the day.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Right, So and if I don't do it in the morning,
I'm not going.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
To do it exactly real well, and I feel like
that's my most structured part of the day. The rest
of it all can you know, go sideways in a minute.
But I have my morning routine and I take all
of my vitamins and supplements and just do a bunch
of things, and so I felt like that would be
the best time to try to incorporate it. So fingers
crossed that the next twenty eight days of the challenge
(04:58):
as going to be success.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
I'm gonna what we should do a follow up.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
We'll do it on you. This is a follow up,
but we'll do a follow up of the follow up.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah, but so I had to restart it, and I
guess the point is you can restart it too.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
It's okay, Yeah, it's okay, even if it's not.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Yeah, if it's not the twenty eight day chair yoga.
The better Me app is what I'm using, which actually
I did a free trial and then once I did
cancel it, and once I canceled it, they just kept
coming after me with better you know, specials and offers
and things. So I think it's like nine ninety five
(05:33):
a month or something, So it's not.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Bad at all.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Cheaper than a gym membership, and.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
You can do it from home.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
And even if you're doing a different routine, started again.
If it didn't work out, it fizzled out. Here we are,
we're ending the first quarter of the year. So if
you've made those resolutions or just put something set forth
in your mind that you wanted to achieve, I think
it's try to go back to it.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Yeah, it's not over.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
And the second most popular or episode that we've done
in our second season was Seven Signs of an Early
Midlife Crisis. Oh, so I think that one was very
impactful for the younger women, right, I think so, yeah,
they're not sure what's happening.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
I think it's really good when you know, because initially
when we went into this, we were thinking, you know,
forties and up. Yeah, But in talking to a lot
of friends that I have in their thirties, I'm you know,
I was hearing all these things like, you know, their
bodies changing, you know, and I thought that's true. I
mean that is kind of when I started noticing things too,
(06:37):
and we need to include these women like.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Because it is it can be a scary time.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Yep, when you're not really sure what's going on. So
I think it's that's probably why it's popular. It's nice
for people to go, oh, I'm not weird, like this
is normal, this is okay, you know. Yeah, So yeah,
I think it's cool that we've reached a younger demographic.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
I do too. I do too.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
And if not because they're experiencing symptoms themselves at a
young age, at least it helps educate them and for
what's to come, Yeah, what's going to happen?
Speaker 3 (07:09):
So?
Speaker 2 (07:10):
And number three, what to do if your partner is
having a midlife crisis.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
That's a good one. I like that episode.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Yeah, because so many people, right, and.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
We've talked about how everyone's journey is different. Nobody has
the exact same experience. So you know, you may be
doing fine through menopause in midlife, it may not be
really affecting you too much, but maybe your partner, whether
male or female, could be having a really tough time exactly.
And yeah, I liked that episode because I think it
is important that you both understand what each other is
(07:45):
going through and you support each other through.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
It, right, And again the education part in there, so
it helps identify some.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Of these especially if they're in denial. You can kind
of help bring them to reality.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Right, I'm here for you, yes.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
One hundred percent, one hundred percent.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
And also, like you had mentioned, we've had so many
special guests on our show this past season, so I
went ahead and listed some of our favorites, my favorites
and some of the top episodes. Belinda with soul treader hiking.
(08:25):
We've had her on a couple of and she is
so amazing. Actually, I want to get her back on
our third season just to see.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
What I know, I want to know what she's been doing.
What's the last.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Times her trek was just amazing, such a great story,
and to go on it by yourself, Yeah, that's just
so empowering.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Yeah, that girl's doing things.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
She is doing things. She is doing things.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
And second, of course, and she's been on our show
a couple of times as well. Debbie, our wife, best
selling author The Sprinkle Effect.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
She had the new book come out.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
And the new book come out, and she's doing a
podcast and she's great.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
She is great.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
She's just the sweetest thing. And she's had such a
challenging life, Oh my goodness. And then the things that
happened to her in midlife and she you know, just
kept powering through.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
It has to be one of the most positive people
I've ever met.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
Yes, I mean, just full of energy and joy, and
just as soon as she comes on, it's like she
lights up the room.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
She does.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
I was thinking that every time I see her face,
whether it be on a social post or anything, if
I'm looking through you know, our past.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Episodes, it just makes me smile.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Yeah, she's so sweet.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
She is so sweet.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
And again the Sprinkle Effect is her book. You can
get it on Amazon or anywhere that you purchase books.
Definitely recommend oh purchasing.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
That read that one for sure.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Number three Emily was still for her. She created cannon
gummies for menopausal symptoms, and she also has a non
cannabis version.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Right right.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Have you talked to her recently? Was she able to
launch that one? I believe she was.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
I believe that the cannabis was because there were the
guts forging away with that now. But she also has
non cannabis products for those that aren't open minded to
trying that, which completely makes sense. But and again that's
still for her dot com. And we'll put all of
the links in the description of our shows. But there's
(10:35):
products not only for menopausal symptoms, but for sleep and
different things. So she identifies specific needs and created products.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
For those dress needs.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
So she's been, you know, just wonderful and we've tried
her products. I've tried her products. I really really like
them and highly recommend them. And then of course Nina
before on our Top Gust was Nina. She's been on
a couple of times as well. The first time she
was on, we talked about her retirement and the change
(11:13):
in her life through that. She was talking about trying
to fill her days with activities and things to do,
and she had stumbled upon the Time Left app, which
is a social app, not a dating app, but a
social app where you go in groups to dinner with
dinner with strangers. Yeah, that's what it's called Dinner with Strangers.
(11:35):
And there's usually two tables of six people at a
restaurant and they meet on Wednesday nights. They're all across
the US and perhaps internationally.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
I can't remember.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
I think they're international as well, but check it out
online and it'll tell you all the locations and it
also tells you how many people in each city are members,
so that's pretty interesting as well.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
It's good it's a great way to meet friends and
maybe a partner.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
And maybe a partner I never know, but yeah, she's
just so sweet and just enjoying this third act of
her life. And I went on dinner with strangers. I
meant to go back, but I just haven't had a
chance to. I'm sure it's coming up on my priority
list here very shortly, but and I'm going to try
it again. I met a nice group of people. Didn't meet,
(12:26):
you know, anybody I was interested in dating that I
connected with or was attracted to or anything. But it
was fun.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
It was fun. And also you get to try new restaurants.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
Right, Oh, yeah, that's great.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
So that's I love. You know, I'm a big foodie,
so I love trying new places and new things, and
especially you know, if you go.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Alone, you're not alone when you get there. So I
really liked that.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
And then number five Carla Joy.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Oh Carla, We love Carla.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Right beauty by Carla Joy dot com.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Check it out. She is a life coach.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
I could just see how much more I can get
accomplished having her on my side and holding me accountable.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
Oh and just the things that she shared with us
that really like were eye opening for me in that episode.
If you haven't listened to it, please go listen to it.
She's amazing. She has free you know, material on her
website if you're not ready to hire a life coach.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
To help you through something. She's just really out there
to help people.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
And like I said, if you're not ready to sign
up for something, you don't have to providing free information.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
To get you started, right Yeah, yeah, yeah, she's great.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Yeah. And then also on her website she has a
plethora of products. Her main profession is Beauty Right and
beauty products, so she has a plethora of beauty products
on there that are all natural, their female owned come.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Make it, and clean skincare Yes make them.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
That's also skincare and clothes as well as hair accessories.
I mean, it's a full gamut. If you want to
feel all inside and out, go to her website. And
also she had just launched her podcast, Jaba Joy, so
check it out.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Yeah, and she has a weekly newsletter and she has
to sign up for that's all. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Absolutely, So also wanted to talk about our most loved
products and game changers for midlife wellness. And now I
know that we both have some personal favorites that have
made a real difference in our lives, whether it be beauty, health,
menopause relief.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Or just self care.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
I think it's a full gamut. We'll save our number
one product for the end, and I think both of
us have the same favorites. We haven't talked about it,
so we'll see.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
We'll see.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
So, but there was so many we just talked about
still for her and the cannabis. Scummies really really love those, right,
So if you're having issues with menopause and a lot
of symptoms, whether it be hot flashes or what have you,
she has sleepless nights or sleepless nights, she has those products.
So that's very high up on my list.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
Yeah, that's a great one. We also talked about the
balance app.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Yes, that one.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
You know, it's really cool because it does have you know,
daily workouts or routines that you can do. Also, though,
I liked the notifications like reminding you to drink water yes,
or to get up and you know, get out of
your chair when you sit in your desk all day.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
Working, you got to get up and move around a
little bit. Just things like that.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
I would get these little reminders and that was really nice. Yeah,
you know, before you know it, it's like, oh, I
just drank a whole loss of water.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Look at me.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
And I struggle with that. I don't hydrate nearly and.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
I drink so much coffee, like until noon. So if
I have both at my then I could kind of alternate,
you know.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
So yeah, I loved that. The app was one of
my favorites. What was your other.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
Favorite, Talika the eyepatches? Oh, yes, yes, they were. I
saw it originally on social media and Drew Barrymore was
promoting them and she was just raving about them. She's like,
you just have to try them. So I went online
and they were very expensive through directly through their website.
(16:28):
So I went to E Cosmetics right and they were
discounted and I was able to receive an additional discount.
So I did purchase them.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
And and I loved them. Yeah, I just mine the
other day.
Speaker 4 (16:39):
I don't use them daily, right, but sometimes, depending on
how bad my allergies are, I'll wake up with puffy eyes.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
Yes, and dark circles. It helps her both.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
It's all about, you know, your wrinkles puffiness, which I've
struggled with a lot, you know, as I'm aging, but
also dark circles, so they're magical.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Love those, Yes, And I keep mine in the fridge.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
I do too, yes on and you can use some
multiple times. So when you buy a pack, I think
the starter pack, it comes with a little silver case,
and but there's only a few, maybe six sets of eyepatches.
And then I put one in this little case, metal
case and put it in the fridge.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
But it's so cooling when you put them on.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
It's an amazing extant relief.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
And then you just leave them on for like fifteen
twenty minutes while you're doing your morning routine and boom.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
Yeah, while you're drinking your coffee and going through your
social media.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
Yeah, listening to your favorite podcast, listening to your favorite podcast.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Yes, but Talika, I definitely recommend.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
That's a good one. Okay, number one? What's your number one?
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (17:51):
I think we both have the same one.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
It was such a it was such a devastating situation
that I found myself in, and it was hair loss.
And I had a bald spot at least one that
I could see right up front by my bangs.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Well you have a lot of hair for you. You
saw it. But we didn't see it.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Well, maybe not thankfully, but so it's a scary feeling,
a scary feeling. It was gut wrenching when I saw
a bald spot. Of course, I think we all shed
throughout the year, and sometimes more heavily than others. So
when I would see a huge amount of hair in
my brush or my comb, I try not to get
too upset about it because I think, oh, it must
(18:35):
be that time of year where you lose more hair
than you.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
I noticed too, like when it's almost time for a haircut. Yeah,
I'm shedding more hair.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Yeah yeah. So I was keeping all those things in mind.
But then once I saw that bald spot, and it
was kind of right up front, and I was just
it just was gut wrenching. So we did we took
a deep dive into some research and we found all
of the top products that were recommend and dead to
Feel free. Please listen to that show as well. But
(19:04):
I think we both ended up with the same Weambie
E M and you can get them on Amazons.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
Actually really delicious. You take take every morning, but I
could eat more because they're so good.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Yeah not bad, Yeah, they're not bad.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Yeah, And they're very They're pretty small, very easy to
chew up. Like I said, they taste really good. And
I have noticed a huge difference in my hair and
my nails and my skin. Yes, my skin used to
get when it came to closer to you know, time
to get my facial or my derma plane, it would
(19:41):
get so dry, so dry, and I don't it's not
happening anymore. And at first I thought, well, I'm taking
better care of my skin.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Which is not. I never washed my face at night.
I know I should. I never do, but I'm like, no,
I'm not. No, I'm not.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (19:56):
It's the weam, It definitely is.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
It's the weam, and it it had a claim to
feend that was a little extreme and it was almost
like kind of unbelievable, but it says you see results
within two weeks, And honestly, within two weeks I could
see results.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
I noticed in like the strength of my nails, you know,
and they just look even like the color of my
nails that's better, you know.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
Yeah, in mine was the baby hares were starting to
go in, and just with those baby hairs growing in,
the bald spot was less noticeable.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
And now it's been. I mean my second bottle. So
I'm ending my second bottle.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
I think each body I just spent three weeks. No,
I think they're a mon months.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Okay, so sure, okay, So on my ending my subscribes, Okay,
and I didn't, but I do need to reorder. But
oh my goodness, a huge, a huge difference, and not
just with my bald spot.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
I can feel it the quality of your hair. I
think the breakage isn't so much.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
And I do believe that the growth it's getting a
little bit thicker, so I don't feel like it's thinning
at least.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
Right, yeah. And I actually went to brunch with a
friend yesterday and she was talking about breakage and hair
thinning and I'm like, I have a product for you,
so yeah, yeah, number one by far, hands down.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
Ye is WEEM.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
I think of the products that we were able to discover,
there's a lot of trends that we saw in midlife
wellness and self care. And one of the products and
trends that has gained momentum over this past year is
NAD plus.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Yes, Okay, I need to start minus in the fridge.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
Yes, And I'm almost to the end of mine it's
in injectable, so that was challenging for me. Honestly. I
had just taken it again this morning, but I had
given myself about a week off, okay from taking it,
and I alternate. I give it to myself in my stomach,
and I was alternating sides, and I just kind of
got to the point where number when I wasn't feeling good.
(22:04):
It wasn't related to that. I'm sure it was related
to allergies, but I was just tired of my stomach
being sore all the time for the needles, so I
just took a break. But if you're not familiar with
NAD plus, you need to look it up. It is
the youth serum of you know, twenty twenty five, maybe
twenty twenty four, we could say.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
But and it is amazing.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
I can definitely feel energy, you know, a lot of
difference in my energy levels and most importantly brain.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Fog, which is one of the reasons why I started
taking it again today.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
I've got an interview next week for a supervisor role
within my company.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
Well, congratulations, thank you.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Don't know if I really want it yet or not,
but in any event, I want to kill Yeah, I
want to be on my game and I want to
kill it in the interview so that I have the option,
uh you know, making a choice versus being offered the position.
But so, but reducing brain fog and mental clarity, I've
definitely seen a lot of benefits in that. And also
(23:12):
it's supposed to help with your cell regeneration. So it's
maybe something that you don't see topically on the exterior
as far as beauty, but it also.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Does help college with collagen, right, so.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
With wrinkles and aging of your skin. But mostly the
benefit of it is what internally that it's doing for you.
So what that's cell Uh, you know, general regeneration.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
I got to start.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
You've got to start it. You've got to start it.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
And there's a bunch of different companies out there. If
you've heard of it, then you know there's a bunch
of different ways that you can take it.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
Yeah, they have like a spray.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Or I think it's injectable, no spray, but you can
also get it in a rip or an ivy if
you went to like a homeopath or something not at home.
But they also have pills for it. And after we've
done a lot of research before we promoted it. We
did a lot of research on it, and they say
(24:15):
that the best way for the best results for using
it is with the injective injectibles.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
And I take so many supplements already, so I did
not want another pill.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
I didn't either.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
There's a lot of companies that offer it to you,
and I also noticed that the price variance is substantial, right,
so it's kind of hard to know which. I would
always want to tend to gravitate towards a lesser expensive product,
but then always in the back of my mind thinking
you get what you paid, you get what you so
(24:47):
I usually end up in the middle of the road.
So we do recommend effecte dot com. If you do
Let's twenty, you'll get a discois account on your first subscription,
So we definitely recommend using it.
Speaker 3 (25:01):

Speaker 4 (25:02):
They have doctors that are available if you have any questions.
Let's do a little evaluation to make sure you're healthy enough.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
To start it.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
And it's by a prescription.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Right right, Yeah, So it is a very useful website.
Speaker 4 (25:17):
If you're nervous about it at all, jump on there
and you'll get any questions answered that you have.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
So yeah, and then we wanted to talk a little
bit about what's here to stay and what was just
a fad. I truly believe that, you know, awareness is
here to stay now. I think that that door has
been opened and I don't think that there's any shutting
it in the near future, and that the female community
and empowerment is here to.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
Stay, absolutely.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
I you know, when we started doing this a couple
of years ago, there wasn't a lot of material out there.
There wasn't and there wasn't a lot of you know,
there's always been you know, women empowerment and certain things
in your career, you know, in the business world and
things like that, but as far as no and as
(26:06):
far as like talking about the stuff that people weren't
talking about, right, you knew.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
I mean, we've discovered people want to talk about this.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
It's not taboo, you know.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
And I've found too that a lot of men love
what we're doing because it's helped them understand a lot.
I think I mentioned my little brother had no idea
that I had a podcast, and he started listening, and
he listens every week. Now he finds a couple episodes
that he can listen to, and he loves it. He
thinks it's great. He it's you know, it's helping him
(26:40):
learn too. It's going on with you know, his mom,
or his sister or his wife, what will what will
go on with his daughters?
Speaker 2 (26:47):
You know?
Speaker 4 (26:48):
So yeah, I think it's really cool that, you know,
the awareness is there not just for us, but for
people in our lives too.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
So hundred percent. So what's coming next? And we've got
a lot of brands and special guests coming up that
we have lined up in topics that we want to
dive into, like are coming soon? Is hormone therapy specialists us?
Speaker 4 (27:13):
Yeah, it'll be nice to have more information on that
because we've touched on it a little here and there.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
I know you didn't have good luck with it, but
a lot of people do.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
A lot of people do so right right, But let
us know your thoughts.

What were some of your.
